"Stop it! Dad!", Jungkook tried desperately to avoid Jin's hands from touching his hair and face. It was the first day of college and he was moving into the dorms. Now that he had grown up, his parents decided it was time to baby him to the extreme. The past week (and year) his parents had fussed and chattered to him about college. He couldn't count the number of times he had been warned to use a condom, avoid drugs and to do assignments the day he got them.Even though he loved them to death, he couldn't help but feel they were overbearing and hover-dads. He wasn't scared about college at all, in fact, he was rather excited. This wasn't like high school where students throw paper at the teacher and bully the nerd. No, this was a huge change and Jungkook couldn't be more excited about it. Everyone was more mature and were able to have more fun, especially as everyone was legal. He has just got his license a couple of weeks ago and his present for the achievement was one of his dad's two cars because 'they didn't need both now that he wasn't living with them'.They had exited the car and already placed all Jungkooks belongings onto a trolley by the time he had stopped staring at the dorms. Despite being at a top university, the dorms didn't look very impressive from the outside, especially not worth the amount he was paying to live there. The nearer the got to the doors, the more Jungkook could sense his parents fretting." I am gonna cry," Jin wiped his eyes just as they entered the building. Yoongi also looked pretty emotional as he reached for the tissue in his pocket. He felt JIn's hand rubbing on his shoulder as he wiped away the first few tears."Dad, no. There is nothing to be sad about, c'mon, "Jungkook sulked at the way his parents were acting. He knew that he was always going to be their precious baby but now he towered over them and had much more of a strong physique than when they first saw him all those years ago. It baffled him how they still saw him as the shy baby with big front teeth. Thankfully the corridor was empty so no potential classmates would see his embarrassment."You know we both have not grown up with supportive parents so be thankful we even care this much," Yoongi took the initiative to scold Jungkook, just like always. "Sorry, " Jungkook bowed his head " it's just it felt like you guys are overreacting. And anyway, I am gonna be seeing you guys during the weekend AND you only live half an hour away so it's not you will miss-"He felt himself crash straight into another person, making him lose balance for a second before getting his balance back; knowing Jungkooks strength, the other person was probably on the floor from the harsh impact. He looked down, surprised at the sight of the other. The man on the floor had a petite face and features. His eyes were big and almond-shaped with a small nose and cute lips. He had long, brown, covering his eyes. He had accessorised his head with two cute cat ears and black earrings. He was wearing a plain white shirt and a straight blush pink coat. His legs were wrapped in light-wash skinny jeans and pink Timberlands. Overall, he found the man very feminine and cute. If he was a female, Jungkook would definitely say he was his type."Sorry," Jungkook said as he helped the man stand up, trying to avoid eye contact. The guy was taller then he had anticipated by about 2 centimetres. That put him off a little. He glanced down and raised that the showed the other was wearing had a heel on them, giving him the extra height to slightly towering over Jungkook. The observation puffed up Jungkook's pride again. He knew gender roles were a form of degradation, but he couldn't help but think the guy was too cute to be taken seriously. He looked adorable, like a baby. His voice probably sounded childish too."It's okay, I wasn't looking where I was going either" the cute boy shot him an adorable smile with the softest eye smile ever as he picked up his phone. If the beautiful smile didn't shock Jungkook, then his voice certainly did. He had a soft baritone voice that was deep but light and calming. He was once again shocked by the other. Now he was stuck, what do you say now? He looked past his face and saw his dad motioning for him to carry on. Jungkook had completely forgotten that they were with him, as he was too distracted by the gorgeous boy in front of him."Ummmm, what's your name?" He awkwardly asked. Initiating a conversation was hard for him unless he knew the person very well, or if they spoke first. Social interaction, in general, was one of his weakest points. " I'm Taehyung", the boy said cheerily " I am a second-year in case you were curious." So he was older. Jungkooks pride was hurt again. How was he going to speak formally to someone who looked so young?"Oh um, I am-""-Late", he was cut off by the older guy. The said man was looking at his phone screen in utter panic." I am really late oh my god! Hope we can talk more some other time!"The "Taehyung" boy ran down the corridor in a hurry, leaving Jungkook slightly bemused. He wasn't completely sure what to do now. Would he see him again? They did live in the same building but he doubted that they did the same courses. On top of that, they were in different years. It was improbable that he would see him more than a handful of times in the next few years."At least you tried to talk", Yoongi smirked, his arms crossed. Jungkook rolled his eyes."He was so pretty and nice, Jungkook you must befriend him" Jin exclaimed with glowing eyes. Jungkook hated tat look. Whenever he saw that look he knew Jin was not going to stop pestering him about something. Maybe he would be seeing Taheyung more than expected. When he entered the dorm, he was pleasantly surprised. After watching countless dorm tours on YouTube, he was expecting something small and uncomfortable. The room was actually nicer than the exterior. There were two small beds next to each other with the one next to the indoor already occupied with 3 large black suitcases. He noticed the unoccupied bed, presumably his, had been pushed away judging by the marks on the floor from where it used to be, so a drawer was in between them. The walls were white and modern with shelves above the beds. Two fairly large wardrobes were next to each other with a decent-sized desk on either side. The bathroom was off white and clean, but small. He liked it. He liked it a lot. Large spaces were not comfortable for him. This room looked comfortable enough for him."This is nice," his dad said as his eyes inspected the room carefully," and it looks like your roommate has already moved in as well. Do you remember his name"Jungkook didn't. He should've paid attention when he was told before. Soon they were unpacking everything and arranging them. Jugkook neatly put his laptop in the desk drawer and books on the desk. He noted to buy some book holders for all his textbooks and a special box for all his notes. He all so noted to put some detachable shelves above the desk for more storage. He placed all his shoes in the bed drawer in colour order whilst Jin sorted all his clothes onto the hangers and folded them into the shelves. Yoongi sorted all Jungkooks comfort and nightwear into the closest 3 drawers next to his bed.As he looked around at his side, he was happy. With the large allowance he had saved up from, he was already planning on hanging up a couple of pictures and photos above his bed. Time had flown and it was late afternoon now.The trio exited the building and went to a nearby cafe to eat and chat. He presented under the attention that they gave him, knowing that it would be a while before he would be looked after this well by them. He laughed at his dads' expressions at the bill, smirking when they realised how much he had spent on food. Oh well, he had to enjoy being spoilt before he lived like a homeless man. By the time Jungkook got back to the dimly lit dorm, he was too tired to notice the soft light from candles were already on and the curtains were drawn. As he grabbed a towel and turned back around, he failed to see the head peeking out from the other side of his roommates' bed, the person's eyes blinking in curiosity as they watched Jungkook enter the bathroom It was only when Jungkook exited the bathroom he realised he wasn't alone. Half naked and only in a towel, Jungkook stared at the figure with his back to him, unsure if he should attack them or speak up. He had completely forgotten about his roommate. The said person was wearing a huge oversized sweater and plain knee-high socks. As they bent down to pick something off the floor, the dress completely rode up, exposing the plain black lace boxer shorts he was wearing. The whole ordeal left Jungkook slightly flustered. They had a beautiful body, feminine and elegant yet strong and toned. If the body had Taehyungs face, he would definitely be the male equivalent to Jungkook's dream girl. The person started humming as they straightened again, fiddling with the? plushie? In their hand. Jungkook could see a good portioned of the man's exposed honey chest and sharp collarbones. The man started walking towards Jungkook, oblivious to the other's stares. He soon looked up and made eye-contact with the younger, causing him to stumble back slightly. "Woah," he said, clutching his chest"hey it's you!" The man's expression brightened at the recognition," I guess we are roommates then", he beamed.Wait, what!To say Jungkook was surprised was an understatement. He was flabbergasted. He never would've guessed the very feminine guy he saw earlier would be his roommate. Yet, it would make sense why his body matched his face. His hope was to have someone with similar interests to him, someone he could watch sports with and feast on chicken and beer whilst talking about the latest match.
Someone manly.
Noticing the souring mood, Taehyung piped up with another question to brighten the situation. He could tell that the other was not very pleased with the new discovery." You didn't tell me your name".Jungkooks head popped up at the question. "Jungkook. I am a first-year majoring in graphics". He answered dutifully. Yes, his roommate was the complete opposite to who he wanted it to be, but the least he could do was be nice. They would be living together and changing rooms just because he didn't like how the other looked would be incredibly shallow and rude, especially because he faced similar prejudice because of his parents. He noticed the way Taehyung's gaze lingered on his abdomen. He had no shame over his body, which is why he only raised an eyebrow at the man's stare. Everyone stared at his body, men and women alike. He was well aware of how attractive he looked"Cool, I am a law major," Taehyung said casually, turning around and picking up his phone from the floor. He bent forwards once and gain, l showcasing his figure. Well fuck. Maybe they both weren't that different. Both of them had nice bodies.Jungkook cleared his throat" I didn't expect you to be a law major, I thought you were into art or literature. You look like that type"Taehyung frowned, swivelling around" what do you mean THAT TYPE?"Jungkook widened his eyes, " no, I didn't mean it like that" he got defensive" I just thought you would be into that sort of stuff, you look creative"Taehyung turned around once again, a menacing expression on his face." Nice save"The elder shuffled into his white duvet, perching the pillow so it rested on his back whilst he put on some spectacles and opened a book. Jungkook, Suddenly feeling out of place at how homely the other looked, sat down on his bed whilst facing Taehyung. He looked around at the dorm finally, noticing how Taheyungs was warm with fairy lights and pictures stuck on the wall with pastel duvets and pillows all over his bed. Jungkooks. on the other hand, was simple with a grey duvet and no decorations at all." I don't mean to be rude when I ask this but" he cautiously gestured at Taehyung" why do you dress like that?".Taehyung looked at Jungkook for the longest of moments before answering " I always liked to act when I was younger. There is something refreshing about dressing up as other people of both genders. Whether it's a celebrity or someone I made up in my mind, it gives me the liberty to feel like someone else. Don't get me wrong, I love myself. I dress up because I accept that's who I am and like being other people once in a while. But my true self is feminine, and no I am trans. I just like looking like this.""Ah," Jungkook said, it made sense. He suddenly felt the need to share something intimate with Taehyung as well. The guy just seemed so understanding." My parents are gay". He blurted out.Taehyung swung around, looking shocked until a smile lit up his face. "That must be so cool, I never had a dad so you having two must be amazing. I'm guessing they were the two guys you were with earlier.""It's not a walk in the park you know," Jungkook said bitterly" being an orphan is worse enough, but also having two highly respectable men as your dad always puts you in the limelight. I absolutely adore them, they gave me so much I could never dream of having, but I wish society made it easier for us. Why can't they just accept that everyone is different". "Oh," Taehyung deflated. "I have a single mother. She was impregnated at a young age and had to leave high school to look after me. As she couldn't get age decent job or support me, I spent my whole childhood with my grandma. It didn't mean I loved my mum any less though. I understand where you come from when it comes to those difficulties.""I understand", he didn't know what else to say. There was silence after that. Maybe living with Taheyung would be nicer than he expected. Jungkook took the time to shuffle to his luggage and organise the last few clothing items. Sometime during his organisation, Taehyung had put jazz music on. The atmosphere became very peaceful and comfortable as if they were roommates for a very long time.He decided from then on that he didn't mind not having a Jock as a roommate, there were perks to having an androgynous friend. Taehyung couldn't help but stare at his new roommate. When he first saw him in the corridor all he could think about was how he looked like every twink's dream. He had a boyish charm to his face but his body was that of a man. He clearly was a bit of a jock and was not satisfied with having such a feminine roommate. he probably wanted another jock as a roommate, Taehyung had thought bitterly. Despite the subtle hostility, something deep down in his gut told him to win over Jungkook. Taheyung would've just ignored any other guy like jungkook and just lusted over their body from afar but that's hard to do with someone you live with. He needed to woo Jungkook over somehow, and maybe even into his bed.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Taehyung was in the bathroom when a brisk knock was heard. Lazily, Jungkook got off the bed and opened the door. He wasn't sure what he was expecting, maybe a TA. Instead, he was faced with a shorter man with cute features and soft brown hair. His eyes were slanted with a sharp v-shaped jaw and soft cheeks. He had a muscular build similar to Jungkooks but with wider hips."Taehyung, how dare you don't tell me when you-" the boy had started pushing past Jungkook into the dorms when he caught sight of the man. He turned around slightly and gave Jungkook a once-over."Name""Jungkook""Gay""No, but I don't judge."He glanced at Taehyung."Asshole?""Not yet."With his eyebrows raised, Jimin nodded with satisfaction "nice".For whatever reason, Jungkook was intimidated by the shorter man, just from first impressions, he could tell he was very selective of his friends. He seemed the type to throw hands the minute he sensed danger. Guessing by the second's question, he was gay, or maybe Taheyung was, or maybe both of them. Maybe they were dating? "Taehyung, where are you", Jimin called out again, eyeing the room. His eyes skimmed over Jungkook side, scoffing at the newly put up sports posters, and lingered on Taehyung's side. Jungkook was very nervous now. The guy had an intimidating aura about him, and yet despite his initial approval, he seemed to have taken a dislike to Jungkook. The last thing he needed was a short-tempered boyfriend in his room.Taehyung's head popped out of the bathroom "give me a moment "."You didn't tell me you arrived yesterday, why didn't you?" Jimin questioned accusingly. He now was sporting an adorable pout with his hand pointing at Taehyung. Was this the same man that was in front of Jungkook 5 seconds ago?" Sorry, I was getting to know my roommate and in packing my things". Taehyung stumbled out with his hair still half wet. Jugkook had learnt in the past few hours that Taehyung prided in himself to look good. A 5-step skincare routine and daily hair masks were routine. On top off that, he did yoga that very morning at 6. The dedication to looking good impressed Jungkook. It reminded him of a lot of Jin. His heart hurt for a second. He should call them soon."Hurry up"Jimin rushed out. Taehyung turned on his Dyson hairdryer ( Dyson has a hairdryer?!?!) And brushes his hair simultaneously. In seconds his hair was dry and very fluffy. Cute, Jungkook thought. He had the sudden urge to reach out and touch it but knew it probably wouldn't be received very well by Jimin. Jimin threw a jacket at Taehyung and played his shoes in front of him.He watched in a hurry as the boys ran out of the room, a "bye kook" on the tip of Taehyung's tongue. He was confused, but not surprised. Taheyung seemed to always be late, wherever he went. The nickname was weird but not unpleasant, the only other nickname given to him was kookie by his parents.Sighing, she plopped down on the bed. He had been hoping to get Tae to give him a tour of the school, and show him the best hangout areas. He was keen to apply for the basketball team as well but had little knowledge on the tryouts. Hopefully, Taehyung would be free later that day to help him out.Sighing, he put on his sneakers and strode out the room. Whilst driving to the school a couple of months prior, he had taken note of the park a few roads from the campus. He prayed there would be something he could do to avoid looking like a loser. He had yet to make any friends. As he entered the park grounds, he saw a group of males playing basketball. He noticed some of them wearing the school's hoodie. Immediately he brightened but hesitated to call out as his nerves started to take over. 'Stop being so shy', scolded himself as he gathered up the courage to call out. They were all muscular with a similar physique to Jungkook. some had a couple of extra inches on them but all in all, he visually fit right in." hey," he called out " can I join?".The players all scrutinised him. He suddenly felt self-conscious. " You can play well?" One of them asked. They seemed to be analysing him, trying to figure out his character."Captain back in high school" he stated proudly. The members looked impressed. One of them stepped forward and gave him a high five. "C'mon then" Jungkook smiled widely. He had managed to join a game without knowing any of the people playing. It was a small victory. He had an amazing time at the park, beating the other team by 6 points and scoring more than half the goals made him the star of the show. Throughout the game, dudes from both teams congratulated him or smacked him in an appreciative manner. He felt like he was making new friends without any help for once. By the end, he was incredibly sweaty and exhausted. It felt good though."Wow, you are amazing. We are gonna go out for some food now, coming?" The top player, Taeil asked. Jungkook blushed from the praise."Sure, only is you pay ", he answered cheekily. They did end up treating his food, after finding out he was the youngest. The whole afternoon was spent discussing various sports and celebrities whilst observing the football game currently taking place at the bar tv. By the end, Jungkook had 12 new phone numbers and the date of the basketball tryouts. It was an amazing afternoon, so amazing that he completely ignored Taehyung when entering and dived for the bed, the Cheshire grin on his face not moving."You had a fun day I suppose" Taehyung commented as he looked up from his book. He was currently wearing a soft blue sweater with holographic lettering on the front. His legs were hidden under the duvet."Ye, I played a match with some of the basketball players in this school. Made friends with them and now and hopefully gonna join the team during tryouts", Jungkook couldn't stop smiling."Oh?", Taehyung exclaimed " you play basketball? I don't play it anymore but it was my favourite sport back in high school. I played for a team after school sometimes. Casually, it wasn't serious."Jungkook looked up in shock at that" you play basketball? I didn't expect someone like you to play sports""What is that supposed to mean?" Taehyung questioned defensively. He had sat up in shock and currently was looking so upset that Jungkook in shock. It was a repeat of yesterday."No, I just thought you didn't like sports. Sorry" Jungkook apologised. Taehyung pouted and turned around, very clearly showing his anger with the younger. His face looked very cute like that but he ignored that feeling. Jungkook passed a back of skittles over as an apology, having noticed the other was eating some earlier when they had gone shopping. Tahyung took it wordlessly."Imma goes shower," Jungkook stated as he sauntered off into the bathroom. He didn't get a reply. When he came out, Taehyung was already asleep. Sighing, he tucked himself into bed and reminisced the whole day. He finally was able to make friends without a person introducing him and had a huge opportunity to join the school team. His dad would be proud of him. He made a mental note to inform his parents tomorrow of his first day in college. "he is definitely your type," Jimin had stated the minute they were alone. Taehyung just agreed solemnly. For some reason, the younger still was miffed at the thought of Taheyung being his roommate, and that upset him. It may have only been a day or two but he still was not fond of him. He had spoken to Jimin about he apparent hostility and Jimin just replied back with how jocks like to stay in packs, and Taheyung was clearly not a jock. Instead of bonding over similar interests, they found other ways to get Jungkook onto his side, he had gone back to the dorms with a more hopeful spirit. That was obviously shut down once again by Jungkook's blatant ignorance. He felt his attraction to him wither. Jungkook quickly redeemed himself though by trying to apologise. He had no idea how jungkook had such narrow knowledge when it came to the community his parents were part of, it was so absurd that it was funny. NO one would be able to tell that he had two dads by looking at the way he acted, he seemed like the typical vanilla jock. One thing Thaeyung di know was a lot of vanilla jocks liked feminine twinks. A small part of his brain hoped Jungkook would be one of them. Clearly Jungkook was not a threat, just dumb with words so he let everything slide, instead focussing on how to get the other into his palms.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Jungkook woke up to the sound of classical music softly playing in the background. With bleary eyes, he turned his head towards the strip of carpet separating the two beds. He made out Taehyung sprawled out in a compromising position. The visual went sent tingles straight to his dick. Flexibility was incredibly hot, and Thaeyung surpassed his expectations when it came to contortions. The elder seemed very relaxed and calm as his eyes closed as he turned into another bone-breaking pose. He slowly opened his eyes and stared right back at Jungkook, noticing him being awake."There is breakfast over there." He said in a composed manner. It scared Jungkook how level his voice was despite the fact that he was contorted into an unnatural position. His mind suddenly conjured up Taheyung being in some other compromising positions, he blushed internally at the thought. Taehyung was guy, that would be weird. He looked to the side towards the small foldable table Taehyung had insisted buying when they went shopping the day prior. The piece of plastic was deemed useless and a waste of money by Jungkook, but Taehyung insisted it would be of use. As he edged around Taehyung and sat down to eat the hoddeok, he begrudgingly admitted the older was right. Instead of eating on his bed and making a mess, they had a proper table to eat on. He was also thankful Taehyung brought a portable cooking station and microwave, as well as a mini kettle. It saved them from the pain of using the public kitchen. Not only this, the elder knew how to cook decent food; even going as far as to carry a mini recipe book. Jungkook had yet to try out Taehyung's cooking, but he had no doubt he was amazing. Even though stereotyping a person was always wrong, Jungkook knew for always fact someone like Taehyung definitely could cook. He felt guilty for generalising but it was quite true. The pancakes tasted so warm and fluffy, practically melting in his mouth. He didn't know how Taheyung microwaves them but they came out amazing. Funny thing though, he didn't remember Taehyung buying it before."You should buy these pancakes more," Jungkook said. "The store made them perfectly""Oh I made them myself", Taehyung explained with a smile. Jungkook looked up in shock. Somehow the elder had the energy to prepare the batter, cook it and do yoga in the morning. The hoddeok tasted amazing as well. He made sure to tell Taheyung that, which he received a big boxy grin in response. He tried not to admit to himself that he had the most beautiful smile.Jungkook had yet to tell Taehyung about his new friends, only going as far as to say he met some basketball players. As Taheyung didn't disclose too much information about himself, he didn't find the need to either. They settled down to eat the simple breakfast, rice and some cereal. Once again he was thankful the elder knew how to cook. It was a blessing that neither would go throughout college without starving or getting heart disease. Soon they were finished and tidying up. Taehyung had already gotten dressed to go out. He had taken some of Jungkooks money for the extra supplies and necessities. As he was leaving, Jungkook just remembered to ask Taehyung something."Oh, by the way, my parents are coming next week to see me before the semester. They also want to properly meet you as well. Do you mind?" Taehyung turned around, unsure about how to answer."Umm, sure that would be nice' he said. He couldn't remember that much about the youngers parents, apart from the fact that they seemed very nice. The thought of meeting them still made him nervous though, he doubted things would end up well with Jungkook if they took a disliking to them; it had been apparent from day one that Jungkook had a close relationship with them.Seeing the lack of response, Jungkook decided to open his big mouth and blurt out something stupid. "I hope to see your parents soon as well" Jungkook widely grinned. Taehyung just smiled awkwardly before exiting quickly. Jungkook watched the door close, realise how stupid he sounded. The room fell into a deep silence due to the lack of noise. Taehyung's awkward smile left Jungkook feeling dumb.Stupid stupid! The elder had yet to talk about his family, for all he knew it could be a sensitive topic for him just like it was for Jungkook sometimes. Not only was it a dumb comment to randomly make but he may have come across as insensitive.Jugkook urged his face on his bed, agonising over his creepy statement he had made seconds ago. He wouldn't be surprised if Taehyung didn't return that night, they may be getting along well as of now but that didn't that mean they were close at all. They hadn't even covered a mutual ground or become used to each other's presence yet! Why would he act so weird? Sighing once again, he tidied up the leftover food and headed out to the park, leaving Taehyung a note before he left. The other had forgotten to give him his number, he made a mental note to ask for it that night. Taehyung slipped into the elevator, ready to arrive at his dorm once again. The school semester was only a week away, something he was both dreading and apprehensive about. There was no doubt he was one of the best students in his class. his grades were pristine and his attendance was perfect. But that wasn't what worried him the most.He had promised his mum he would study, and succeed in his dreams to make her proud. He was on earning enough money to support her and bring her to Seoul. No matter what, he would make her proud and show her just how much she means to him, despite her scarce appearance in his life. He would send his grandma to a luxurious retiring home and visit her daily. He would provide enough for them because no matter what, Taehyung would never let his family suffer again. They were desperate to come and visit him, see his new roommate, but Taehyung wasn't so keen. There was no doubt his minute family would adore Jungkook. Despite them being together for less than a week, it was clear the younger was respectable. He was clearly open-minded and accepting of many people, but that didn't mean he would accept the whole of Taehyung. Taehyung's dark past wasn't as easy to confront like one's sexuality, especially as barely anyone in the whole world could be understanding over his situation. He was cautious about his family, but not embarrassed by them. Jimin was the only person to know everything fully, and it was by accident. Even if it was only by chance that Jimin was so accepting of his flaws, there was no saying anyone else would be.It also posed as a threat to him the fact that Jungkook was really keen on joining the basketball team. Quite a lot of them were not fond of him, especially Taeil. If they spoke negatively to Jungkook about him, he would not know how to handle it.As soon as the elevators door opened, he plastered his face again with the faux sense of calmness before casually walking back to the dorms, a small bag with simple ingredients for dinner on his hand. Being welcomed by nothing, he caught sight of a note on his bed. Closing his eyes after reading, he flopped on the bed, wondering just how he would survive the next 4 years here.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Jungkook once again saw the group playing basketball as he ran into the park. He grinned as he joined them once again, they all seemed to take a liking to him and him them. Tryouts for the new team were coming up soon and he was eager to join the team, getting closer to the members would only help him out. All the guys he was currently playing with were on the team, making him even more apprehensive about joining. They greeted him enthusiastically the minute he came towards them. It made him so happy. Later on, the group once again went to a nearby restaurant to eat. Jungkook was beginning to tell it was a common practice of theirs. He liked it, he liked it a lot. It was exactly what he wanted."How long have you been doing basketball," Taeil asked casually as he bit into a burger. The elder was formidable on the court, with his 6-foot height and agility, it was no wonder he was one of the best players on the team.Jungkook looked up at him, pondering his answer. The truth was, he did know when. He used to play it before he met Yoongi, however, he was never serious about it. Then within days of meeting his new parents, he was once again playing. Yoongi and Jungkook bonded through playing it, as it was a common interest of theirs. Yoongi had taught him so much about the sport than he thought possible, they would always go to matches and discuss the techniques displayed before going home and practising it together. He never forced Jungkook to be the best, only made sure he was good as he could be. That was one thing he was indefinitely thankful about because the light-hearted nature of the game made his passion prosper. Basketball had always been something he enjoyed; a safety net whenever he felt like he would fall. Finally, he answered" 13 years." Stealing one of Taeil's chips, he carried on. "I didn't get into it until my father started playing with me. I'd say I have only been playing it seriously for about 9."Taeil nodded in approval at the answer. Turns out most of the guys had been playing for 6 or 7 years, yet they were incredibly impressed by Jungkook's abilities for his younger age. He smirked as he told them his father was a basketball teacher and was one of the best players in South Korea at some point in his short career. The envy reflected by the other players made him puff out his chest in pride. Yoongi had given it up because of Jin and his growing passion for music. He produced songs part-time for various artists as well as teaching high-schoolers. Jungkook remembers how Yoongi hosted piano lessons for people in his school for extra revenue. Yoongi had always been a rock in his life for how passionate and hard-working he was when it came to things he was passionate about. It was something he was glad he adopted from him.The group carried on having fun that day, laughing and messing around until night fell. Their presence caused a huge ruckus in the restaurant, causing them to be scolded multiple times before they left. Jungkook once again was grinning for war to ear as he left the group. It was comforting to know that he had made friends in such a massive university, especially in the first week. He wouldn't have to suffer alone for months before someone approached him first."Are you sure you don't want a lift back?" Taeil shouted at Jungkooks retreating figure, bending over and cupping his mouth in an attempt to carry the sound further. A wave of dismissal was all he got in return.Jungkook giggled as he walked down the street, looking crazy as he remembered the events that happened over the course of the day. As the days went on, he started to feel that college was not as hard as his parents deemed them to be.Yes, he had not yet got to experience the plethora of aggignments he could get from his classes, but even that didn't seem too hard for him. After leading such and chaotic life, he had gotten into the habit of completing work and chores the minute he could. Organising his time and giving everything a set order gave him comfort. Being raised by Seokjin had meant many of the father's traits had subconsciously passed onto him.He smiled fondly at remembering his parents. They had always been his best friends, his everything. Every day when he got home from school, he would spend hours talking to them about what happened that day, gossiping about his friends and laughing at his dad's jokes. It had been a couple of days and hadn't called them at all. He felt guilty although his parents had informed him they wouldn't call at all for the first week in order to let him settle in. At first, he was too excited to think about them, now he was itching to call them.He grabbed his phone from his pocket and dialled Jin's number, knowing he would be home by now. Not even after 2 rings was the phone answered."Kookie? You finally called!" His father exclaimed. A wave of love and affection rippled through him at the sound of the familiar voice."Yes dad, sorry I didn't call. I was too busy settling in," he said remorsefully. He suddenly felt incredibly sorrowful for ignoring his parents the past week." Oh no that's fine. We were hoping you would get settled in on your own. To be honest, there were many times in this past week that I was tempted to reach out to you, but I and your dad had agreed not to reach out first, to let you sort yourself out. It pains me to say it but now that I have left you to fend for yourself. I wish I could still baby you" Jin said sadly."Dad, I am 19, I don't need to be babied. " Jungkook rolled his eyes. Of course, his dad would mention that. "Anyway, collage has been fine so far. My roommate is a really good cook. He-"."Your roommate cooks?!" Jin screeches through the phone with so much force that Jungkook's ear goes temporarily deaf. "Kookie that's amazing! I was so worried that you would be surviving on cup Ramayan, just like Yoongi did in college before he met me. I know I have taught you the basics of cooking over the past few years and I gave you lessons over the holidays, but knowing you you probably forgot. Thank god your roommate can cook! How is he? Is he nice? It would be nice if we could meet hi-""He's androgynous and is aspiring to become a psychiatrist " Jungkook deadpanned. There was no use beating around the bush." Oh my god! " Jin screeched once again. This time Jungkook was prepared when he moved his ear from the phone. A sound of the door opening and closing was heard in the background. "Yoongi! Did you hear! Jungkook's roommate is androgynous and knows how to cook! He's perfect!""Well thank god for that " Jungkook heard Yoongi say with dripping sarcasm. He snorted at that. Of course, his father shouldn't share the same amount of enthusiasm as his other father, that's what made them so perfect, they complimented each other so well with their differences. It was a relationship that he could only dream of having one day."Of course I am thankful! Now we know Jungkook won't become malnourished!" Jin once again shrieked in delight." Now it won't have to worry about sending him food every week".Almost immediately Jungkook was protesting, resorting back into a child ." No, dad! I have been craving pork belly all week. please send me some?" Jungkook begged." Just ask Taehyung to make you some. You said he's a good cook.""Yes, but we are living on the bare minimum. I know you gave me some money for the month but for some reason, Taehyung has organised both our money into different segments and we have a limit for how much we can spend for that week. Pork belly takes up more than half our weeks worth !" Jungkook argued.Jin huffed fondly" fine I will send some ""Yes! Thank you!" Jungkook replied. He hadn't realised that he was already in front of his dorm "Dad I need to go now, I will try to call more often. Love you.""U better! Love you baby" his parents responded. Jungkook hung up the phone with a smiled. when he opened the door, he didn't expect to see two bodies in the room, with an unfamiliar one plonked right on his bed. " Hey Jungkook, this is Hoseok, he is one of my best friends", Taehyung explained. Jungkook didn't respond, indeed resorting to staring at Hoseok's body sprawled across HIS bed. Noticing what's wrong, Hoseok hurriedly moved to Taehyung's bed, whispering a sorry."Its fine" Jungkook responded, "I just don't like my stuff being touched or anything that I use without my permission." Hoseok nodded back. It was only then that Jungkook realised how good looking Hoseok was, with his sharp jaw and soft black hair. He could be a model. Why was everyone that Taehyung knew so good looking?"I am a Biochemistry major btw" Hoseok explained."Oh," Jungkook said, feeling awkward with how to respond. Sciences were never his forte. It was actually the only subject that he failed in high school. He sat down on his bed, realising how odd he looked standing in front of the door. He caught Taehyung's questioning eyes at his odd behaviour, to which he quickly looked away.Sensing the weird atmosphere, Hoseok stood up and walked towards the door. It was clear that it was time for him to leave."I got to finish some summer work, see you guys around," He said cheerily. He thanked Hoeseok in his head. Talking to new people was awkward even when he managed to saddle up to a bunch of guys earlier that week."Yeah see you" Tahyung replied just as Hoseok closed the door. After a few seconds, he looked at Jungkook."Did you not like people coming into our room?" Taehyung inquired. His unusual awkwardness seemed a bit weird, maybe it was a reaction to Jungkook's awkwardness?"Oh no", Jungkook hastily replied, " I am just a bit awkward and shy around new people, and he was also on my bed which didn't help". Tahyung nodded as a response whilst he contemplated something before speaking again."So does this mean that I should not tidy your side of the room when I am cleaning? I am a bit of a neat freak so I like tidy rooms. It helps calm my mind you know?" Jungkook was surprised by Taehyung's question. Even though Jungkook liked things to be tidy he never had the motivation to tidy up, Jin always had to force him to help with chores so it was something Jungkok was not fond of doing. He could not refuse Taehyung's offer at all. He was pleasantly surprised at the other's willingness to do chores for him, maybe Taheyung is not that bad."Ye that's fine you can tidy my stuff, just please don't rearrange things or try to keep them where they are supposed to be." Jungkook awkwardly rubbed at the back of his head. "Also please let me know before you do anything as well"."Of course" Tahyung grinned, " I made some more ramen for you if you are hungry. It's in the fridge if you are hungry.""Sorry I should have told you but I ate when I was out, its fine though I will eat it later today or something". At that moment he remembered something."What's your number by the way? I would be useful to have it" Jungkook passed the phone over to Taehyung, watching him as he inputted the number into his phone. He was not sure how often they would text each other, probably only going as far as to text each other about roommate things."Cheers," He said after getting it back. " So Jimin is your boyfriend right?" he wanted to make sure that he didn't offend the other's significant other. He was too scary and protective. A tiny part of him hoped Taheyung would say no, he didn't know why though.Taehyung started laughing gleefully. ' What?' Jungkook whined. He didn't like the teasing smile on his face as he laughed at him. He resisted the urge to pout. He didn't know exactly why but getting belittled by Taheyung annoyed him more than it should, he felt like he should appear strong and manly in front of the other, just like he would in front of a girl.'No! Hell no. He's my soulmate, completely platonic. I am completely single, besides Jimin has a boyfriend.' Taehyung defended, backing up. A deep part of him perked up at the news but he didn't linger on it.'Oh,' Jungkook said, ignoring the tiny burst of happiness he felt. He chalked it up to not having to face a protective Jimin. 'You guys seem like it.' He didn't know how to feel about the other's relationship status. 'Yeah, a lot of people do. We are very close' Taehyung flashed his boxy smile once again as he got into his duvet, tucking himself in and neatly putting in the phone on the counter. The other was really good looking even though he was wearing no makeup and had messy hair. Pretty, even. After getting comfortable in bed, he said,' Goodnight Jungkook.''Night.' He replied softly. The silence between them as they drifted off was tense for some unknown reason but Jungkook ignored it, favouring his sleep over something he could be imagining. Taheyung cursed himself for allowing Hoseok to linger on Jungkook's bed, he hadn't expected Jungkook to come back so early. Thankfully the younger didn't get that upset and carried on being friendly to him. He hoped that Jungkook inquired about Jimin because he was interested in him, not because he was curious. Ahh, one could hope. He didn't know why he offered to clean Jungkook's side of the room but Jungkook's happy expression made him automatically thankful for his mind fart.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Jungkook woke up once again to the sight of Tahyung doing yoga, his lean back facing away from him. Once again he has no idea how Taehyung was so flexible. This time, he has headphones on, most likely listening to the calm music through them. He was wearing shorts and a tight long leaves shirt, highlighting his slim figure and wide hips. The only way to describe him was beautiful. Jungkook had realised very quickly how Taehyung put effort into his looks regardless of what he was doing, and never wore a bad outfit even to bed. His wardrobe consisted of main slacks and patterned or ruffled shirts, which never had to top few buttons done to showcase his necklaces and collarbone. Despite his mature style, he still looked so young and fresh. Maybe it was his accessory choice. His fashion choice wasn't Jungkook's ideal type but the way he pulled off it with the contrast of his athletic pallet at home, it became his type. He found himself comparing the brunette to his ideal type more and more. The elder was just so fitting that Jungkook couldn't stop. Compared to him, Jungkook either wore skinny jeans or sweatpants with an oversized shirt. He liked being very casual. He looked more like a college student than Taehyung did. Squinting his eyes, he asked, "isn't it painful for you to wake up every day at 6?". His body ached at the thought of waking up so early in the morning, he had always been a late sleeper. Jin had once made a comment about how he slept like a log, being infamous for sleeping through alarms. The only way he managed to wake up in time for school most days was because Jin would routinely drag him out of bed, his nipple twists never failing to make him stand upright in seconds. Somehow, Taheyung's soft music was enough to lul him out of bed in the mornings."Then why are you awake" Taehyung sassily responded, shooting him a look over his shoulder. It was very apparent that Taehyung had a lot of attitude, never afraid to tell Jungkook off and use his authority over him. He should expect it though, due to the age difference. His sudden change from being a sweetheart into a snappy adult never failed to amuse him. It was like having a 3rd parent."Because I wanted to check out the gym. I may go there before lessons if I can be bothered." Jungkook had a delicious physique. His arms were strong and toned and his chest had visible pecs as well as an eight pack. He definitely wasn't buff, but anyone with an eye would be able to tell from a glace that he had an exceptional body. His favourite part of his body was his strong thick thighs. Yoongi loved to slap them fondly due to their sheer size and strength. Even though his diet would suffer from college, he was not going to sacrifice his body."It's pretty good, to be honest. That's where you will see Jimin. there is a lot of equipment, more than any other gym I have seen. " Taehyung frowned "but the equipment is always sticky though. It is also very busy all the time so you may want to go when it's not busy like at night. And it also smells as well sometimes.""Ah really, Il go see it later" Jungkook looked to the side and spotted breakfast already served on the foldable table. "How are you so quiet when you make breakfast and everything else? You basically make no noise""I'm light on my toes and I also try to be as quiet as I can, that what happens when you do yoga," Taehyung said curtly, ' I also don't want to disturb you either. I noticed that you are a light sleeper,' he smiled and looked back at Jungkook. The statement made a pool of warmth from inside Jungkook, and he hadn't realised that Taehyung was so observant. He didn't even have to make him breakfast in the morning, but he did. It was so lovely."I also used to do ballet and pilates." Taehyung threw out, catching Jungkook off guard. No wonder he looked so elegant despite his small frame. Ballet dancers were a weak spot for Jungkook. He could never get over how beautiful and elegant they looked. He remembered fucking a ballerina back in high school, her flexibility and stamina had left his mind reeling for months. His mind suddenly wandered what Taheyung would be like in bed. He had a lovely body for a man and also a very nice ass. Jungkook would never admit it but he tended to stare at Taehyung in the mornings, admiring him as he exercised. As Jungkook ate, he noticed that Taehyung was still wearing skimpy clothing. It was very different from what he wore outside, choosing to dress in more fancy shirts in silks and smart pants whilst at home, he covered the bare minimum skin.'Do you not like wearing layers in the house?' Jungkook asked without thinking. 'you barely wear anything.'Taehyung just looked at him in shock, not expecting the other to speak. 'I prefer to wear comfortable clothing in the house, and this is what I find comfortable just like how many guys sleep only in their underwear. Does it make you uncomfortable?' He tentatively added.' No, it's fine. You cover yourself more when you go out though.''If I dressed like this out I would look stupid' Taheyung giggled. Jungkook found the noise endearing for some reason' I like covering up though, prefer to show off my curves rather than my skin, especially because it is so cold now in Seoul. You really expect me to go out half-naked?' 'True' Jungkook stated. He ignored the back of head telling him that's exactly what he likes in a girl. 'Could I take the leftover food for lunch?' Taehyung's cooking rivalled Jin's, but that is something he would never tell his father. Somehow he managed to make simple food such as rice infinitely tastier. He eyed Taehyung's box of spices and flavourings, remembering how the other mentioned that it was the secret to good tasting food.Taheyung brightened at that as if Jungkook had given him the loveliest compliment ' of course! Tell me if you like it or not, I love to cook but I wasn't sure about what sort of food you like. It will taste good cold but if you can warm it up.'' Cheers' Jungkook grinned. Everything he had initially thought about Taehyung had disappeared over the past few days. The elder was so refreshing and warm to be around. It was as if he never left home in the best way possible. Jungkook was ecstatic when he found out that one of the basketball players, Yugeom, was not only in the same year as him but the same class. They had met up to go to the gym as partners and also to spend some time getting to know each other. He discovered that the other was really good at dancing, just like Jungkook, and was hoping to have his own dance studio in the future. Talking to him was easier than any of the other players because of how well they fitted together. The more they spoke, the more he felt like he was making a long-term friend."Did your father make that" Yugeom eyed Jungkook's food. He had felt comfortable in telling the other about his parental situation, still aware that homosexuality was something to proceed with caution. He only mentioned it after Yugeom mentioned how lucky he was to be roommates with his friend, who was gay. "Actually it was my roommate. He's really good at cooking. I don't know if you know him but his name is Taehyung." Yugeom stilled at that."What," Jungkook asked, surprised by the reaction."Nothing. It's just Taeil mentioned him and said how he wasn't very fond of the guy. He also mentioned something about tTaheyung really hating the basketball team but I don't know. Does he know you are going to join."Jungkook paused to think about that. Taheyuung hadn't shown any sort of discomfort when he talked about the team, only showing his support even though he deflected the conversation onto something else most of the time. He would have to mention it sometime."He does, and he hasn't mentioned anything bad at all, quite the opposite actually. Maybe Taeil misunderstood?" Yugeom hummed in response. Jungkook pushed the questions t he had to the back of his head. If neither were going to mention it then he wouldn't bother either.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
A whole week had passed with school starting. Jungkook barely saw Taehyung in the dorms, mostly because he opted to work outside with his new friends as well as practise basketball. The tryouts had been on the first day and the results were expected to be up by that Friday. Jungkook felt like he had done very well during it, even getting praise from the coach for his fast reflexes. Both Taeil and Yugeom had reassured him that there was no way that he would not be in the team. Classes had started off slowly with only extra reading being set as work, something Jongkook was grateful for as he could do it easily between lessons and practise. Every night, Jungkook would make it back to the dorms in time for Taehyung to start cooking. Sometimes he was in the dorm room and other time he was in the shared kitchen if he decided to make bigger servings for the next few days. By the time he had showered and got changed, the food would always be set up with Thaeyung waiting expectantly for him to join. He had made sure to notify the elder if he was going to be home later ( something he only did during the tryouts) so that he could either only make one serving or pack up the food for the next day. The food was amazing, with Taehyung going shopping every other day to buy new ingredients for normal cooked dinner rather than sodium packed food. Jungkook had no idea how Taehyung managed to stretch their allowance to produce such nice meals but he was not complaining. On Thursday night, he had even made cupcakes with a ready make mix, letting Jungkook do the decorating with his own artistic flourish. They ended up making more than they could eat, with both opting to share it with their respective friends the next day, even though Jungkook noticed Taehyung tense at the mention of the basketball team. When he had mentioned to Yugeom and Jaebum (another guy on the basketball team) about the daily meals from Taheyung, they had drooled over it. Yugeom had been under the impression that it was something the other only did sometimes. Despite it only having been a few weeks of university, everyone was already feeling the toll from the repetitive cheap food. Guaranteed everyone was expected to blow too much money eating in restaurants and partying with their new heavy wallets from the student loans, but it didn't mean that real food wasn't appreciated. He had shared some of his food with the two from time to time. He had taken such big servings of the leftovers that Taehyung had taken notice and produced lager servings. It had got to the point where the two would buy Jungkook drinks and snacks in exchange for Taehyung's cooking. He had yet to mention it to Taheyung but he doubted the other would mind. They were paying for the food equally anyway.Having Taheyung as a roommate was perfect, something he had not expected. The other was respectful and clean, always keeping his side orderly and nice. The other had even gotten into the habit of lighting a candle as they ate, letting the smell diffuse around the room before blowing it out when they went to bed. He never stated it out loud but he loved it. Jungkook was sensitive to smells, which is why he took showers daily, and Taehyung always smelled clean and fresh. Even his candles smelt clean or warm and cosy. It was the perfect set up. The elder subconsciously had started doing Jungkook's laundry for him as well. He would usually leave a pile of his dirty clothes under his bed in a box and only take it out when it was full or he was running out of clothes to wear. He never liked laundry so it was something he avoided doing. It came as a surprise one day when he saw all of his clothes freshly cleaned in a neat pile on top of his pillow. Jungkook never commented on it but instead just naturally let Taehyung do it for him, realising that the other wasn't lying when he said he liked cleaning. He also always made jungkook's bed when he was in the bathroom in the mornings, tidying up any paper he had into neat piles on top of his desk as well. After the second week, he had felt guilty for not doing anything in the dorm even though Taheyung never complained, just silently did what he did in peace. As a thank you, Jungkook often carried Taehyung's bag to lesson's instead, because Jungkook passed his building to his lessons anyway, and shared his snacks from Yugeom and Jaebum. I had gotten to the point where Jungkook became too comfortable with the other's presence. The thought of having another roommate or having to do all the things Taheyung did on his own seemed daunting. "My roommate baked some cupcakes for us," Jungkook said as he handed the Tupperware around the table. The cupcakes were filled with caramel filling and a nice chocolate swirl at the top. They were simple and tasted just as good as they looked."These are so good" Taeil stated as the reached for another, proving Jungkook's statement correct. He had engulfed the first one in one go. "I would say it's weird for a guy to be cooking, but if he bakes this well then I have no complaints." Despite the underlying tone of the backhanded compliment, Jungkook shrugged it off and took it positively. He had noticed that Taeil wasn't the friendliest person to other people, especially when they went out to eat. The other displayed behaviours of an obnoxious jock who were similar to the type of people Jungkook hung out with in high school until his last year. His blatant rudeness and disregard for anyone he didn't like off the bat were ignored by Jungkook, as he opted to focus on the friendliness the elder gave him instead. It wasn't like he had done anything terrible yet anyway.Within seconds the whole box of cupcakes had been eaten much to Jungkook's surprise. He hadn't realised how big of a sweet tooth everyone had. Taheyung would definitely be pleased to hear the compliments everyone was giving him about the cupcakes, even though he tended to blush at any being directed at him. He had yet to mention Taehyung to the rest of them, after noticing that Taeil and some of the other guys were not fond of him for some reason. He still had yet to ask them about it. For some reason, it irked him how they didn't like the elder. He had been nothing but an angel in the few weeks they had known each other, but Taheyung was a second year and these guys obviously knew him better than him. He really wanted to ask them why but he left it alone for now.A message popped up on his phone. From: Dad #1We are coming to have dinner with you tonight at 7. Il text you the areas later. Bring this Taehyung dude okay?Jungkook sighed. To Dad #1k To: TaehyungDad wants us to have dinner with them tonight at 7. Should we meet in the dorms then go together? They probably will pay for you so don't bring money. They get offended by that sort of stuff. From: TaehyungOk. 6:30?Jungkook replied with a "yes" before resuming to his conversation wit they guys. He was apprehensive about his parent's reactions to Taehyung. He knew they probably will be fall in love with the elder, even attempting to adopt him as well, but he was still nervous. Later on that day, jungkook realised that he was running late to the dorms, having gotten carried away with playing football with his friends as a change from basketball. He usually had dinner at 9 so he didn't expect time to fly so quickly. With no time to shower, he barged into the dorms, paying no mind to Taheyung's shocked expression and took off his shirt. He realised only after he had put on a non-sweaty shirt on that he had never been shirtless around the other, opting to change in the bathroom for convenience. He barely registered the gasp as he threw one a jacket and looked at Taehyung. He didn't quite expect the sight in front of him.His hair was slightly curled and styled in a way that made it look effortlessly messed with a little bit of glitter on his eyes and cheeks, making them reflect off the light. His lips were glossy and pink, looking plump and kissable. His outfit was just a plain white turtleneck with black slacks and Oxford shoes but the way he pulled dit off made him look like a runway model. He looked effortlessly beautiful and it confused Jungkook because he always looked beautiful but somehow he looked even better today. After another quick glance at his attire, he raised his brows and gestured to the door. Taheyung nodded and walked out with him, bending down as he passed him to adjust his shoe. Jungkook got a front seat view of the others ass, which was less than a foot away from his dick. Swallowing slightly, he opened the door for the elder, fiddling with the lock and Taheyung put on his pink jacket. He didn't know the night would progress but one thing for certain, he can't take his eyes off the elder.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
The walk to the restaurant was short, with both of them having a comfortable silence between them. The weather was slightly warm with a soft breeze passing by. It was the perfect weather for a date, Jungkook thought. Immediately he dispelled the thought, feeling weird about the idea of romance when in Taehyung's company. He glanced over at the elder, who was staring contemplatively at the night sky and the surrounding shops. The soft yellow glow from the streetlamp illuminated his skin, giving him the softest healthy glow to his skin. A soft breeze whipped past them, brushing some hair off his forehead for a split second, making his hair look fluffier than it already was. Jungkook fought the urge to reach out and tidy his hair, the idea of such intimacy leaving him slightly flustered. He looked away abruptly, self-conscious at the idea that he may catch his stare. As they neared the Mexican restaurant (Jin had stated that it was new), Taehyung broke the silence."Have you told anything about me?" He asked. The tone of his voice suggested nervousness. He didn't understand why though, Taheyung had seen his parents before for a brief few seconds, they were not intimidating at all.Jungkook glanced back at him again. " No, our conversations have been more about school and basketball. They probably want to learn about you themselves."Taheyung made a satisfied noise.Right then, they arrived in front of the restaurant. Instinctively, Jungkook held the door open for Taheyung, trailing in behind him. He didn't notice the faint blush sprinkled on Taheyung's cheeks at the action. He spotted his parents sitting on a booth immediately, Martinis in their hands as they laughed at something Yoongi had said. As they drew nearer, both of them stood up seeing them, greeting Taehyung with a hug first before Jungkook. He snorted. He caught sight of Taehyung's soft smile as Jin held him in his embrace for a few seconds longer than necessary. Of course, Jin would love Taehyung, he thought fondly, they hadn't even spoken to him yet but we're already head over heels. As they sat down, Yoongi jumped into a conversation immediately, " So what do you study huh?". Jugnkook was surprised over Yoongi's eagerness to talk, he usually was the one to listen and observe the situation, preferring to stay silent and only join in when necessary. His short clipped answers were something Jungkook had sadly adopted in contrast to Jin's cheery attitude which made first impressions on people way harder."Law, I want to focus on cases involving children predominantly," Taehyung replied sheepishly. Jungkook noticed how both of his parents seemed to immediately have taken a liking to him despite knowing him for a mere few minutes. He scoffed at that. They had never really liked any of his old friends, yet Taehyung had already gotten into their good books from one greeting. To be fair, his old friends were the troublesome type, being the main reason that his parents had a strained relationship with him for the first few years of high school. The elder did have a friendly and comforting atmosphere however, something that made him very liked by others in his dorms. He had observed how he would always pop into other people dorms for a few months to talk, seemingly to have made friends with everyone in his block. He recalled how Taeyong, a fellow first year majoring in literature had knocked the other day to return one of Taheyung's hoodies. He had tried not to scowl at the fact that the elder had probably left it in the others dorms or let him borrow it."That's nice, you are in your second year yeah? I remember those days, the second year is always the best, until you get slapped with a multitude of exams and coursework in your last year." Taheyung grinned and nodded in response."Anyway, that's not what I'm curious about" Jin spoke before Taheyung could reply. "How is it like rooming with Jungkook? He is the laziest pig ever! I thought that would be the title that my hubby would take but even he does his share since I have lived with him. My son refuses to.""Oh. Well, I do the cooking because I can cook. I also do the cleaning and now all the laundry too. And the shopping" Taheyung stated tentatively. He looked at Jungkook like what he said may upset him. Jungkook realised that his dad was not going to be very happy at all about it. The number one thing his parents had hoped for fro him when he moved was for him to gain responsibility."That's appalling!"Jin shrieked, slapping the back of Jungkok's head, eliciting a whine back. " You can't do everything and give Jungkook nothing. The only reason I agreed for him to move into the dorms was so he could act like an adult for once. He's been spoiled rotten by us for the past 18 years. Taehyung, when you go back home tonight you must make sure to spread the chores out equally okay? I want to see him sweat.""Oh no it's fine" Taheyung defended, "I like doing household chores, it's something I have always found fun to do. Anyway, Jungkook does his part too!""Like what?" Jin raised his brows. the lack of response from other caused Jin to speak up again."Jungkook you can't just take advantage of your roommate like this!" Jin said exasperated. Jungkook pouted at that. He didn't like being accused of exploiting someone."No, it's not like that" Taheyung quickly defended. " He didn't ask me to do anything, I just did it out of habit. I am fine with continuing on the way it is. If it's a bother then I could share some chores or Jungkook pay extra for our food allowance. He has been eating more this week.""I vote on the money" Jin gave him a pointed look. Jungkook looked down at the glare."Share the chores okay?" Taheyung just nodded. The rest of the dinner went smoothly. It went smoothly with the sound of laughter coming from their booth every few minutes. His parents had ended up liking Taheyung so much that he was not only invited to every dinner they would have in the future, but also their phone numbers were also exchanged. They headed back to the dorms, with jungkook holding two bags filled with extra clothing from home. Taehyung had offered to carry one but he refused, stating that they were not heavy at all. After a few moments, Jungkook piped up."Did you feel pressure to do all the work?" He enquired. It was a thought that had been nibbling at the back of his head the whole night. Even though he clearly had the typically jock look, he wasn't an asshole."Nope. Like I said earlier it's something I like doing. Anyway, it's become a habit of mine because it was something I had to help my grandmother with when I lived with her, and then later I had to do it all the time because she became too weak to do any chores.""Oh," He replied. "Well I don't like doing any chores so could you keep doing them. If you need any help then I will try, especially when it comes to cleaning my side of the room. Il just pays more for food. Or for most of the food. Just please lie and say I am doing my laundry or something," he pleaded. His levels of laziness for chores was astronomical and he really did not want to do more than he already did.Taehyung hummed "Yeah I'm fine with that. You have been eating a lot this week as well. I had to stock up on rice because of you. Is it because of all the exercise you have been doing?""Ugh, no," Jungkook said sheepishly " two of my mates have been begging me to give them my food in exchange for snacks and drinks. I don't think they like eating ramyun all the time. Sorry about that." He was hoping that Taheyung would just brush over his sudden increase in appetite and just take it as something normal. He had thought about lying for a second but felt too bad about it.Taehyung paused for a second, tensing at those words. " Which two friends?"" Jaebum and Yugeom. They are very nice people." Jungkook quipped. He hoped that Taehyung didn't mind feeding their mouths as well. They seemed to be addicted to his food already and he didn't want to see their disappointment at being unable to get the same nutritious meals as him again. They were also beginning to become some of his closest friends and that was not something he wanted to jeopardise. For the first time in his life he had managed to find a good group of friends off the bat with no help, he was not going to let its getaway."Oh if it's them than I don't really mind" Jungkook sighed in relief at that. his shoulders visibly relaxing. "Just no more people okay? Or soon I will be feeding your whole team and that is not something I am prepared to do.""Fair enough," Jungkook itched to ask about his dislike for the team but bit it back. He didn't want to upset the elder over it.When the reached the dorms, Jungkook settled the bags, under his bed, too lazy to sort them out just yet. Taehyung had tutted at him and instead did the tidying for him, folding them up and putting them in the different drawers as Jungkook started preparing for his shower. He thanked Taehyung as he turned away. The other really loved doing chores, didn't he? Jungkook realized then just how lazy he was in comparison. As he sat down on the bed later, Taehyung startled him with his comment."I didn't know you had a back tattoo" Jungkook looked up from the chapter he was trying to finish reading in shock."When did you see it?" He hadn't realised the elder had seen his bare body, as he changed in the bathrooms for the sake of privacy despite both of them being dudes. It just felt like the respectful thing to do and once again something too intimate. It was weird, he paraded down the locker rooms with the other guys butt naked multiple time this week, but simply showing off his abs to Taheyung felt too personal."You kinds flashed it at me when you changed your shirt a couple of hours ago." Taehyung blushed at the memory. He knew Jungkook would obviously have a good body from the amount of exercise he did but he didn't expect to see an eight pack. He had fought the urge to drool right there and then. It had been tempting not to get down on his knees to unzip Jungkook's trousers with his teeth."Erm. Do you want to have a look at it?" Jungkook awkwardly said. He wasn't sure what compelled him to say that statement all of a sudden but he assumed the elder had an interest in his tattoo, most people did when they heard about it. He didn't know where this newfound confidence came from but he just rolled with it.Taehyung looked at him in shock and just nodded mutely, clearly not expecting such a response. Automatically Jungkook ripped off his shirt so that it was scrunched up in his arms and swiftly sat down on the others bed with his back to him. At the sudden movement, Taehyung sat up and stilled for a moment, not knowing what to do. After a few seconds, he traced his fingers over the pattern of the bird, feeling the firm muscle underneath. His face was bright red at the feeling, silently enjoying the sight of the others very toned back and arms. Jungkook shivered at the light, warm touch of Taheyung's fingers, noticing how gently he touched his skin. He liked the feeling of the hands of the other on his back, it was soothing in the best way. He did not want the feeling to stop. After a few minutes, Taehyung retreated back which Jungkook took as a cue to go back to his bed. That night, Taehyung slept blushing to the thought of running his hands down the others front rather than his back, although it was something he very much doubted he would be allowed to do any time in the future. The other was a whole buffet and Taehyung was suppressing his hunger. Even though the younger clearly hadn't been fond of the idea of Taheyung being his roommate, that had changed within days. His grandmother had always said that the way to a man's heart was through his stomach and clearly she had not been entirely wrong. He could tell just how much Jungkook loved his meals and he was glad for it. His grandmother always knew how to stretch a couple of notes into a whole week of amazing dishes and thankfully it was something he learnt too. Taheyung slowly felt himself falling for the other despite them not being that close. They only spoke when they were in the dorms together or when they were eating but that didn't stop him from developing feelings. The relationship was pretty one-sided as Taehyung was doing everything whilst Jungkook mooched off him but he was not complaining at all. Both Jimin and Jungkooks parents had stated that he needs to start getting the other to put his weight in as well but as of now, Taheyung was completely fine with it. He was used to managing chores on top of schoolwork as he had to take care of his grandmother after she started to get ill. Jungkook was way easier as he did not need any assistance at all. He was pretty sure that the younger was not gay but that wasn't definite. Looking at his parents, Jungkook definitely must be open to guys in some format so taheyung could still try to win the other's heart through his actions. He was already doing more than he probably should by feeding two of his friends, who Jungkook kept insisting were addicted to his food already. Hopefully, Jungkook would take initiative and approach Taheyung instead of him always doing it.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
"We all got in!", Jungkook gave a toothy grin whilst staring at the results table. Both Yugeom and Jaebum were going to join him in the team as well as Mingyu, a guy he befriended from one of his classes. It was perfect. The school was getting better and better every single day."We have a meeting with the coach now t get ourselves sorted but after that, I was thinking we could all go out and celebrate?" Taeil announced, which was followed by a chorus of agreements. He was the team captain again, just like he had been for the past few years. It was a title Jungkook was keen to take next year when Taeil left college.Ever since he was young, Jungkook had the talent of being able to pick up new skills quickly, either that or he would excel on the first go. Having people brag about his ability to be the best at anything was great for his ego but it also placed a massive burden on him. Instead of naturally picking up things, he would instead spend extra time and care into making sure he did not disappoint. Feeling like he was not good enough was one of his biggest fears, causing him to practise extra hard at anything he did. Basketball was no exception. In the few weeks he had been here, the other players had already noticed how he was always the last to leave the court and the first to start training. Once again it was something he was praised for, with even the coach picking up on it and applauding him for his commitment. He didn't like losing even when it was in a friendly atmosphere. The constant pressure to live up to his name made his competitiveness incredibly high. Losing was not an option. As they waited for the coach to arrive, Jungkok texted his parents the good news. He knew that Yoongi would obviously be incredibly excited but he was not anticipating the response he got back
To Family:
I got into the team! Almost immediately he got a response back.
From Yoongi:
Congratulations son! I am so proud! Make sure to tell me when your next game is because I will definitely come.Yoongi never had been the talkative one, even on the text. It was always Jin who responded to his texts and made a comment of him. Yoongi always used one-worded answers. Jin had mentioned that his absence had left Yoongi feeling affectionate, with him clearly missing his son's company. The news made Jungkook's heart warm and appreciate Yoongi's rare endearment even more.
To Family:
Thanks, we don't have any games for a couple of weeks though.Amidst his conversation with Yoongi, he receives a message from Taheyung.
From Taehyung:
What do you want tonight?Jungkook paused for a second. He contemplated telling Taheyung but decided he might as well, the elder and he were good friends at this point. Taheyung had somehow encased himself int the younger's heart and was burrowing deeper into his heart every day. The more he got to know the other, the more Jungkook could not believe that such a person could exist. He was an angel. No other person had been so warm, caring and kind so quickly like the elder had. He didn't know what exactly he felt for the other but it was definitely some form of like.
To Taehyung:
I won't be home for dinner tonight because I got into the team so I will be celebrating!
From Taehyung:
Congratulations! Il makes extra food for you tomorrow anyway. He didn't have time to respond as the coach decided to enter at that moment so he just sent a thumbs up as a response. The meeting was very brief with only a couple of introductions being made. To Jungkook's joy and embarrassment, the coach singled him out as being an amazing player from the tryouts and his obvious potential at becoming one of the best players on the team. He had ducked his head down at the compliments but his face hurt from smiling so hard. The day just kept getting better and better. He didn't notice Taeil's persistent stare at him throughout the meetingWhen the coach's meeting finished and everyone started heading out, Taeil nudged him."You must be glad that your father is a basketball teacher, huh? What was his name again? Jin-shi? Must've helped you out a lot to become a good player." Jungkook blinked "Jin? He's a doctor." Taeil looked at him confused for a second."Didn't you say your father taught you basketball?" Mingyu interrupted. Jungkook broke out of his stupor."Oh, yeah. That's Yoongi. Jin is a doctor, not a teacher.""So you have like a stepdad then of something" Taeil questioned him. By this point, the other members of the team had turned into the conversation. Jungkook sighed as he looked around. He might as well tell them all at this point, especially as he was not ashamed of it. However, if any of them started treating him differently or said anything bad it would not end up well." No, my parent's are gay actually. Jin is my biological father. He had me before he met my other dad and has sole custody of me. My mother isn't in the picture." Jungkook stated nonchalantly, trying to mask his nervousness with confidence. Yugeom and Jaebum knew and couldn't care less, but that wasn't the same with everyone else. He glanced around at everyone. They all looked shocked but none of them looked disgusted or anything. Taeil seemed uncomfortable but Jungkook just guessed it was due to shock, not hatred."That's kinda lucky" Mingyu mused. "Fathers tend to be less strict so having two but be great." That lightened up the tension a lot."Kinda yeah," Jungkook breathed. The unexpected situation was going better than he thought." It felt like I was living with two older brothers my whole life, except when I got a bad report card or got in trouble then it was hell. My dads did feed my gaming and sports addictions though" The others laughed in response. He noticed how silent Taeil had become at his confession, and the sombre expression he has every time he glanced at Jungkook, but the latter just ignored it. He doubted it was anything important. As they all exited the campus to go eat at some fancy restaurant, Jungkook slapped Yugeom and Jaebum's necks simultaneously."I think you should pay for my food today" He stated cheekily."Hell no, have you seen the prices in that restaurant, my bank account is already suffering," Jaebum complained. Yugeom nodded as well."Well, who's been feeding you well these past few weeks huh? I don't think you could become good players with a diet of ramyun." Jungkook retorted. In all honesty, he had forgotten his wallet and did not want to go back to the dorms to get it."Actually it's Taehyung whos feeding us, but fine. "Jaebum butted in, "This is only because his food is way better than the canteen's and is so filling. that hoeddeok he made the other day was so mouth-watering, I can't believe you have it basically every day as breakfast. Even I didn't eat that well back home.""Don't forget his japchae. Sorry mum but even she cannot beat how good it tastes. My mouth is watering just at the thought of it." Yugeom groaned. "I honestly think I will die if he didn't exist. I tried eating ramyum for dinner for a couple of nights. It gets so tasteless so quickly. Why did you get blessed with a cook as a roommate? I don't even have one." Jungkook just shook he head at their antics. He felt more and more thankful for his roommate the more he heard the others complain about their diets and how deep their pockets had sunk in the few weeks they had been in college. Taehyung was definitely a godsend. Jungkook groaned as he walked back to the dorms. The food had been amazing at the restaurant. He had ordered the stake as well as a fancy cake much to both Yugeom and Jaebum's chagrin. Thank god Taheyung was such good bribing material. Right after, they had gone to the courts to play football, resulting in Jungkook getting tackled and slamming his shoulder onto the ground. He hadn't noticed the pain due to the adrenaline but now he could deal it. He tried to massage the muscle but it didn't loosen up his shoulder enough.Once again he enters his dorm and threw off his shirt and shoes, diving headfirst straight to the shower to freshen up. after a couple of minutes just standing under the heat in an attempt to loosen his muscle he exited and plopped himself on the bed, exhaling a deep sigh at the feeling. Not only did his shoulders hurt but his feet too. He hadn't noticed his roommate watching him from his desk. "You okay?" Taheyung asked curiously. Jungkook looked up at the elder in mild surprise before smashing his head back down. The elder once again looked amazing in just leggings and an oversized shirt. His collarbone was completely on display and he looked so cuddly with his fluffy hair (no doubt from recently blow drying it)."My muscles hurt that's all" He replied. He could already feel himself dozing off before he realised a weight had settled on top of his lower back. He let out a squeak when two soft palms settled on his shoulders. He hadn't even realised that he had not put on a shirt. Currently, the only thing he was wearing was briefs. His ears reddened at the thought of Taehyung being on top of him in such a state but he suppressed his feelings. They were both guys, there was nothing weird about it at all. The feeling of Taehyung's surprisingly strong thighs against his waist told him otherwise though. The elder clearly had muscle, but it made him lean and toned compared to Jungkook's buff body. He couldn't get over how light and perfect Taehyung felt on top of him."Where does it hurt the most," The elder asked gently. Jungkook had no idea what Taehyung was tryna do but his brain currently lacked the function to be able to tell Taheyung to get off, instead of submitting to the other's touch. He didn't even respond before he let out a moan when the brunette started needing his shoulders. The touch hurt yet it felt so good. He let Taehyung's arms roam around his back as he turned into a pile of goo at the other's touches. He had the most amazing fingers and Jungkook could not get enough. Taehyung was perfect in every single way.Soon, he felt himself dosing off as Taehyung worked his way to his lower back. A pool of heat formed in his lower belly but he ignored the sensation and just chalked it up to the feeling of Taehyung's massages. The elder's arms stilled as he leant down and pressed his whole body against Jungkook. His lithe frame felt so good against his back."Anywhere else?" Taehyung asked softly. Jungkook's mind wandered down a dirt path but instead, he just muttered something about his feet. Instantly, Taehyung switched around and settled at the top of Jungkooks thighs. He started massaging his right foot, applying just the right amount of pressure to soothe his muscles. Just as Jungkook was about to let out a moan, Taheyung shifted his whole body of him as he reached out and grabbed something. He heard a light squelching noise which caused more heat to pool in his stomach before his foot was getting massaged with lotion. Everything felt a hundred times better and worse at the same time. Better because he felt so pampered and taken care of but worse because he could definitely feel his boner aching at Taheyungs actions. He layed there for several minutes whilst Taehyung tortured both of his feet in the best way possible before the movements stopped. Just as he thought it had ended and that Taehyung would move away, Taehyung started sliding position down his whole left leg, starting from his upper thigh dangerously close to his dick all the way to his ankles. After his whole leg had been covered, he slowly started working his way down from his thigh. The feather-light touches mixed with the kneading left Jungkook blessed out. His whole body felt pleasure in more ways than one. When Taheyung got passed his knee, he thought his boner may start to go down but to no avail. Even the massages on his calf made his mind wander into another realm. When Taehyung started on his other leg from the top, Jungkook was dying. Every touch Taehyung gave sent tingles straight to his dick. It was euphoric but at the same time made him want to curl up in shame, yet he couldn't bring himself to tell Taehyung to stop because it felt so good.As Taheyung got to his mid-thigh, Jungkook tried to control himself from letting out a moan. He buried his face deep into his pillow as his body tensed up. His prayers that Taehyung would not notice anything was answered went he elders movements didn't falter for even a second. He must have assumed that he hit a particularly tense knot. After the pleasure subsided, he didn't have the courage to lift up his head. There were so many things that were wrong with what he did. Not only did he have boner because his roommate was giving him an innocent massage to ease his pain ( which in itself was amazing), but just the mere thought of the elder made him hot and bothered, and he was also a boy which Jungkook was not supposed to be attracted to.His shyness hit him at full force at Taehyung finished up and shifted his weight off him before going back to his seat at the desk. "You can thank me later" he had stated as he got back to his work. Jungkook just hummed in response, still unable to move from what happened. So many thoughts were going through his mind as he stayed there, how was he supposed to stand up? His boxers were soiled and changing his pants would be suspicious. His prayers were answered soon enough when Taehyung went to the toilet. Jungkook quickly hopped off the bed and took off his boxers, using it as a rag for the remaining precum, before burying it inside one of his dirty shirts so that Taehyung would not see it. He then put on his identical pair and slid into his covers, checking that there weren't and stains before staring at the ceiling. He wanted to avoid Taehyung so badly but that would just cause suspicion. Taehyung was very quick to catch on things and probably would realise something was going on very soon if he did that, so instead, he planned to act normally around the other. The mere thought of looking directly at the other made his cheeks burst into flames though, along with the knowledge that he did something very perverted. He chalked up his attraction to Taheyung as it is due to him being so feminine. He had never had any feelings for a man before and he was adamant in keeping it that way, especially with how "not gay" his parents acted with both of them being asked multiple time if they had a girlfriend or wife because they just did not fit any gay stereotype. They both look straight. It prevents Jungkook from answering a lot of awkward questions in high school as only a few people made negative comments about his family because they just seemed so normal. Jungkook was also notorious for being a good fighter so not a lot of people wanted to upset him. All of his friends also found both Yoongi and Jin to be cool parents (mostly because of Jin's massive video game stash and Yoongi's basketball skills which obviously won his sporty friends over.) Both his parents had stated that they had always known they were gay, it was a feeling that they had at the bottom of their heart. So it was no surprise to either of them when they found each other. Because of this, Jungkook knew he wasn't gay. He's never felt anything emotional or physical about anyone male, except Taehyung. Therefore it just makes sense that the only reason he's having conflicting feelings is that his looks align with everything he likes in a girl, plus the elder has a lovely personality so it just makes sense. Doesn't it? Taehyung thought about what he did to Jungkook a couple of hours ago. Giving someone a full body massage was a bit too extreme to be shaken off as being a friendly roommate like cooking could be. He was only planning to do his shoulders but touching Jungkook's body just felt too addictive. His grandmother and mother both had said his massage skills were amazing, so using it on Jungkook just felt right. When the younger walked into the room almost naked and clearly showed signs of tiredness, his body automatically jumped at the chance to please the younger. Jungkook clearly didn't mind or was too tired to care about Taehyung's actions judging by his lack of comment, but Taehyung was thankful for that. Feeling the ravenette's strong muscles under him felt amazing, it was a wet dream come true. The other's peaceful and content expression at Taheyung's actions made him want to stay on top of him forever. He very quickly started working his was down Jungkook all the way to his feet, relishing in the way the other hummed from time to time at the feeling. He wanted to test his luck and even go far as to massage his arms (he had a muscle kink especially thick arms sue him) but he held back because that definitely would be crossing a line. God, he was doing so much for the younger but he just couldn't stop. For some reason, his heart wanted to lay out everything in front of Jungkook and let him decided if he wanted to pick it up or trample on it. It was scary how infatuated he became with the younger but there was something about him that he just was drawn to like a moth to a flame. Maybe it was the way he valued his family just like him, or how he was clearly shy and a bit timid but was able to switch into a cocky jerk very quickly but Taehyung was enamoured. In the end, the moth will die if it touches the flame but not if it touches a bulb, yet a flame is more attractive...
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
A few weeks later, Yugeom and Mingyu were talking about girls that they liked with each other whilst Jungkook finished up some of his notes."Cmon, cute girls are always better than sexy girls," Mingyu said, only to face Yugeom's protest."What about you Kook?" Yugeom asked, " what's your type." Jungkook looked up and contemplated for a second. "I would say the closest thing to my ideal type is Taehyung, funnily enough. Good looking but smart likes to dress up but is also athletic. I also like domestic girls too.""So why don't you date him then," Mingyu asked.Jungkook spluttered at that. "I'm not gay. " He defended himself. "Dating him would be so weird."His two friends looked at him in confusion. "We thought you were though, so does half the team." Jungkook got very irritated at that. He hated people assuming he was something's was not before he had the chance to tell them himself."Because my parents are?" He huffed. The guilty looks he got back confirmed his suspicions. "I hate it when people assume that just because you grew up in a gay family that you are gay as well. I am straight as fuck, I have never liked a guy in my life. That's why I haven't made any moves on Taehyung at all, because there is no attraction there apart from him being my type in girls.""Sorry."Yugeom said in response, "that was rude of us to do. On the bright side, we know that none of the guys is homophobic. None of them had said anything rude about you or your parents so that's good." Jungkook took a paused before agreeing with them. His outburst fading into the distance as they all joked around together. Little did he know that in the distance, two friends had overheard the first part of their conversation, leaving one of them giddy with hope Jungkook later told his teammates the same thing he told his two closets mates. He looked suspiciously at how Taeil was friendlier to him during practice than he had been the past few weeks. The elder had been a bit harsher on him than others, chalking it up to wanting him to be the best when he was questioned about it.Later, Jungkook went home to seeing Taheyung on his bed fast asleep, a cute expression on his face as he was surrounded by notes. Jungkook sighed softly as he neatly placed all the books onto the floor, lifting taehyung off the bed to tuck him under his covers right after. As he stared at the other's serene face, an unknown emotion swam in the pits of his stomach, causing him to brush some of his hair out of his eyes. It really was such a shame that the elder wasn't a female. If he was then Jungkook would've made moves within the first week. The two roommates walked out of the flat together. Hoseok, who Jungkook learnt was Jimin's boyfriend who was Taheyung's best friend, was hosting a party that Saturday. Taehyung had invited him, who invited his teammates. Everyone was going, as it was supposed to be one of the biggest parties of the year. The location was in one of the abandoned warehouses in the outskirts of the city. There were no houses nearby and no security, making it the perfect place to get pissed. Jungkook hadn't thought the law major was the partying type, but he was surprised. He was surprised again when he came back from practice to go shower and get ready in the bathroom, only to come out to see Taehyung in tight black skinny jeans and a flowy silk top that exposed a lot of his glowing chest. The skin looked wet and irresistible, but his face was more deadly than his shapely body. The slightest smudge of eyeliner was on his bottom lashes, making him look sultry. His hair was curled and slightly wet, with one side being pushed behind his ear. He looked unreal. Jungkook stared shamelessly at him for a bit, turning away when Taheyung looked at him. Jungkook hadn't done much for his looks. He was also wearing black skinny jeans, but also a sleeveless top that showed of his arms and outlined his pecks when he moved around. He hadn't bothered with his face, only choosing to comb it with his finger a bit. His long hair was still wet. Taehyung looked a lot better by far.He went to grab his keys and jacket, missing the way Taehyung looked at his body as he walked through the door, the elder following behind. They were lift-sharing with Yugeom, Mingyu and Jaehyun, causing the two roommates thighs to be pressed against each other. Jungkook tried not to think about just how nice and gentle Taheyung smelt, or how small his thighs were compared to his meaty ones, or how good he looked in the dim light, not realising Taheyung was thinking about the same things too.The journey to the party was less than 20 minutes long, the direction having being given clearly to them. Jungkook immediately missed the elder's warmth as he rushed out of the car to greet Jimin, leaving the others behind. The party was not yet at its peak when they arrived, yet the dancefloor was still half full. A bunch of cans were int he corner with bins being placed everywhere. Everyone was told to brink their own drinks. which translated to only a few bringing some and the others just stealing them. Jungkook grabbed a beer from the small pile the minute he entered, taking a swig as he spotted his friends sitting on some worn couch in the corner. He grinned as he walked towards them, noticing how Taeil was near them, already smooching on some girl's face. He squeezed himself down as they all greeted each other, spending the next half hour commenting on who looked hot and among bets on who would leave to get laid first.Nearly an hour into the party, Jungkook spotted Taehyung dancing with Jimin, looking amazing as he moved his body in time with the sexy beat. The two were grinding on each other like as if they were partners, not besties. He couldn't take his eyes off his roommate, how perfectly the light bounced off his features, how stunning his smirk looked as he dances, how lovely his body looked in the clothing. He continued staring until the songs started becoming upbeat, watching as he stopped being so sexy but dorkier, bouncing around and punching the air in time with the beat. Hoseok had joined them at this point. He vaguely heard his mates calling him to join them on the dance floor. He finished off his 4th drink before sauntering off to dance. he wasn't a bad dancer, he knew how to move, so he let the beat take over as he messed around with his friends. He somehow ended up near Taheyung, with the other right in front of him. By now his hair was soaked from some alcohol being spilt on him when he was sat down and the seat from the heat and movement. He saw a pretty pink flush on the elder's cheeks and smiled at the beautiful sight. In his alcoholic haze, he started dancing with Taehyung, not noticing how the other froze for a second before joining him. They held hands as they swung around, cheeks hurting from how much they were smiling. For that night, Jungkook wasn't dancing with his roommate, but a random pretty stranger. An hour later, they stopped dancing, with Taheyung being dragged away by his friends to get some fresh air. Jungkook went looking for his mates, who had to migrate outside where there was a pool table. He messed around for the rest of the night with them. Sometime past 2, he got a message from Jaehyun telling him that they were leaving now. Jungkook quickly went to find Taheyung, only to see him on the dancefloor, moving to the beat lazily as people moved around him. Once again, he looked so pretty. Jungkook patted his arm before signalling that it was time to leave. Taheyung followed him without any reluctance, saying bye to Jimin and hoseok, who were in the midst of a makeout session. The car ride was filled with a calm silence, the elder had pressed his whole body weight and arms around him, falling very quickly into a deep sleep. When they arrived back, he didn't have the heart to wake him up, he was clearly tired from all the dancing he had done. With ease he lifted Taehyung onto his back, waving his friends goodbye as he walked to the dorms. Thankfully, they didn't have a curfew on the weekends. He gently placed Taehyung onto his bed, making sure he had a pillow as the elder liked to cuddle something whilst he slept. He removed his shoes and socks and undid his jeans to make them less uncomfortable and easier to kick off in the middle of the night. After putting ht blankets on him, he saw a pack of makeup wipes. He contemplated for a second before wiping the sweat off the others face. The elder was really into skincare and he remembered being told that makeup overnight was bad for it. he sighed as he placed the wipe in the bedside table, feeling too lazy to bin it and finished up his business on the bathroom before sleeping. His dreams were filled with a faceless girl with all too familiar features. He woke up too late to see how happy and giddy his roommate was when he realized what Jungkook had done. Jungkook stared mournfully at his third cup of ramen that day. It was a Thursday night and Tahyung wasn't set back to come until Saturday afternoon. He had given him a week's notice for his trip that he was going on for one of his courses, as it contained fieldwork that was compulsory for the course. Jungkook hadn't thought much about the implications until Taheyung had left that Sunday night, leaving behind a large box of bibimbap and some other dishes for the next few days. The trip was al inclusive so he hadn't prepared food for himself. However, Taheyung hadn't factored in the two other mouths that were patiently waiting for his cooking, so all the food ran out before Tuesday evening. He was fine with having ramen on Wednesday and eating some of the snacks for the day, but by Thursday he was already tired of the cheap food. His stomach was a vacuum so he had to eat at least three cups per meal to sate his stomach. Taehyung always made filling but healthy meals, so the ramen did nothing for his nutrition. It wasn't just him who suffered though, Mingyu and Yugeom had started paying Taehyung to cook for them too, the payment wasn't too much but it was more than what they had been paying for the cheap foods before. Ultimately it was a very tiny investment into their health. Three athletes had engulfed their supplies within days, Taking Taehyung's portions for granted. The elder had spent a good portion of his last day cooking for all of them, convinced that if they mixed the prepared dishes with other food that they make on their own, they would be fine. Oh, how wrong he was. They were all now weeping over their pathetic diet, earning a few glares from their teammates who ate the grim meals on the regular. It wasn't their fault that they were all spoilt. Jungkook had once jokingly asked Taehyung of he would feed the whole team if they all paid him, only to be given an adamant no with a comment on how stressful it already was to cook for all four of them (more like seven with their appetites). Jungkook had started helping him cook, doing simple things like chopping and stirring. He even started to fold his own clothes, giving Taheyung a smaller workload. The elder still did 70% of the chores though.Jungkook had suggested on Friday night for them to cook some food together. That seemed like a good idea until they caused a fire hazard in Yugeom's dorm kitchen, causing an evacuation of the building. It hadn't been serious, just some really burnt vegetables, but they still got into trouble. Going out wasn't an option either as their bank accounts were very low at this point from draining it over the semester, so with their heads bowed down, they bought more ramen. When Taheyung came back on Saturday to their dorm, he had expected Jungkook to not be there, as he usually had practice at this time. He was shocked, however, to be tackled to the ground by three strong men, each of them wailing about how they missed him. After several moments, he was lifted back up by Yugeom whilst Mingu handed him a grocery bag and looked at him expectantly."What is this for", he questioned, still overwhelmed from the dramatic welcoming. "Please cook some food for us. We are nearly dying of starvation" Jungkook begged. Taehyung shrugged off his jacket and placed it onto his bed. He wheeled his luggage to his side of the dorm and tucked it under the desk before looking back at them."I made more than enough food for you guys for the whole week. They were supposed to be exclusively lunch and dinner. How soon did you finish it"They all looked at him sheepishly "3 days." Taehyung gave them a firm glare. "Well, then you deserved to starve. I am quite tired from the trip so I was hoping to sleep for a bit. My feet hurt as well from all the walking I have been doing."They all whined like puppies in return. The eldest ignored them in favour of lying down on the mattress on his stomach to take a short nap. He had closed his eyes for a couple of seconds before he felt both of his socks being ripped off in two swift motions. Before he had the chance to cry out in surprise, two different sets of hand were on his feet, massaging each of them."What are you do-," He didn't get to finish his sentence before a hand had clamped down on the back of his neck, smashing his face back on the mattress aggressively. A weight settles on his hips as the person let go of his neck. Taehyung stopped himself from thinking how nice it felt to be pinned down like that. The hands started massaging his shoulders, making him squeak."The quicker you feel better the quicker we can eat", Jungkook's voice came from above him, his face so close to his neck that the elder blushed at the feeling of his breath on his nape. Taheyung didn't respond, not trusting his own voice as the guys started soothing his body. Just as Jungkook had started moving down onto his waist and massaged there, he felt the grips on his feet come off followed by Jungkook as well. Taehyung kept his face painted on the cushion."Hyung you didn't fall asleep did you?" Mingyu questioned, the lack of response caused Yugeom to suggest, "he should shake him awake."Taehyung lifted his head at that. "Don't you dare. I am still tired and don't feel like cooking". He watched as all three faces became gloomy at his words."But we waited so long for you. We tried cooking ourselves but ended up setting one of the buildings on fire. We missed you so so much. Pleaseeeee" Jungkook pleaded, with the other two joining in. Taheyung gave in after a bit, realising that they would not stop until their bellies were full.He huffed as he stood up and went to the groceries, analysing its contents to see what he could make. "Noodles? " he asked, receiving three firms no's in return. He sighed and decided to make sundubu-jjigae instead. The three males followed him into the kitchen like puppies, clearly ecstatic to have a good meal after ages. He didn't let them lay around waiting for the food, instead of getting home to work for it, making sure that they each had a task to do. The food ended up being made in record time and being all wolfed down in minutes. Taheyung had barely finished half when they were already scraping the last scraps of food from the pan, sighing when there was none left. Taheyung just gaped at them, expecting there to be a some for all of them, but clearly not. He begrudgingly let them finish off his portion too, as he had already eaten a lot bore the journey back. Even after all that, Jungkook still looked at him expectantly and said "I'm hungry" Taehyung stared in disbelief as the other two agreed as well. He didn't know how they had room left. "How full are you?" He asked them, getting an "only 50%" in response. He couldn't believe it. They really had not been eating without him. He wondered just how good his food had to be for them to wolf it down like that, or how reluctant they were to buy ramen. He stared at them in discontent. "Yugeom and Mingyu, do the dishes, Jungkook, go to the store and buy some food. I will text you the ingredients". They all jumped up with glee at that, immediately springing into action. Taung went into the shared cabinets to see if there was anything he may already have. He glanced at some sauces and made his decision. He sent Jungkook only one item, pasta, and a lot of it. Going back to his dorm, he rummaged around his spices for some flavourings to add and saw that Jungkook was already back when he came into the kitchen. he had purchased a lot of pasta, and a lot of versions as well. APparently the store only had one of each. He started preparing a very simple dish of pasta, finishing it in less than 15 minutes. The amount was massive, believing this time that here would definitely be leftovers, only to stare in confusion as it all was slurped up in minutes, not a trace left. Thankfully, the three boys started talking about how full they were, satisfied smiles gracing their face at finally having a decent meal after 4 days. Taheyung lit up at the multitude of compliments and thank-yous rained on him. he walked back into the dorm to start unpacking, not even having to tell the boys to clean up as they did so without prompting.Taehyung was in the bathroom getting ready for bed when Jungkook finally came back, it was already the evening. When he started getting settled into bed, Jungkook piped up behind him from the bed."I really missed you," He said with a fond smile, he was lazing around on the bed, his arms behind his head, making his muscles bulge. Taehying stopped himself from staring too long. The statement made his heart flutter, combined with how good Jungkook looked, he felt his face start heating up. "I forgot how nice it was to have your company, and just how amazing your cooking is.""Thanks" Taehyung replied, going to his bed hurriedly. "On Wednesday I have my first big match, will you come?" Jungkook questioned. He sensed the nervousness in his voice, they both knew at this point the hostility he had with a couple of his teammates."Sure," Taheyung said after a couple of moments, he didn't regret it after seeing the overjoyed expression on Jungkooks face.Looks like it was something he had to bear with.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Taehyung dragged Hoseok and Jimin to the game, not wanting to be alone. It’s not like he hated basketball players or anything but there were a select few he wanted to avoid. Jungkook had been so hype all week for the game that he couldn’t help but share the excitement with him. "It's my first big game, Hyung, I want to do really well," he had exclaimed, his eyes shining brightly. "I can't wait."He was mesmerised by how Jungkook looked whilst playing. His expression was stern and concentrated as he focussed on the game. Sweat builds upon his skin as he flies across the court, dripping down his exposed arms and neck. Taehyung couldn’t keep his eyes off how visionary the younger looked whilst he played. He was too fixated on the other to even pay attention to the game. Jungkook didn’t score the majority of the hoops, but he did a lot, mostly three-pointers. Having played basketball himself, Taehyung was in awe at the other’s technique and abilities. In the end, they obviously won, Taehyung cheered loudly for his roommate, getting a smile in return and a wave from Yugyeom and Jaebum.he cowered any time he saw Taeil, who thankfully was more focussed on looking at people on the other side of the stands. They may not be very familiar with each other, but his hoodie and mask couldn't cover him up properly if Taeil was familiar with his features. They only encountered each other a few times, but he tried to avoid him at all costs. There was a brief second when he thought they made eye contact, but Taeil's gaze skimmed over him, leaving the other tense.“I used to play you know, for fun. Never was as good as you thought,” Taehyung complemented later on when Jungkook arrived at the dorms. He had once again gone out to eat with his teammates as a celebration because parties in the middle of the week weren't gonna happen. “Wow really,” Jungkook said in fake shock, mocking the elder. “Stop,” Taehyung laughed. “You make it sound like I am shit at the sport. I really am not.” Jungkook's eye’s developed a challenging glint. “You sure about that?” Taehyung humoured him by taking the bait, “pretty certain that I can play well.” “Then let’s go and see,” Jungkook smirked at him mischievously as he stood up. Taehyung was taken aback, “Huh?” “Let's go to the nearby park right now, I have a ball, let's play for a bit.” “It's like 11 pm, Kook. I have lessons tomorrow,” Taehyung looked at the other weirdly. “Not until the afternoon,” the revanette sing-singed, grabbing his hand and dragging him towards the door. Taehyung sighed and put on a jacket, leaving the dorms. This was not what he planned the night to progress to, but he didn’t mind it. The weather was very cold at that point, causing Taehyung to snuggle into his jacket more. “I hope we warm up quickly, or I won't stay for more than five minutes,” Taehyung grumbled, already annoyed. “No you will,” Jungkook reassured as he nudged the elder, “I will have you running around, trust me.” Taehyung stuck his tongue out as a response. The park was completely empty when they arrived, the only company being two lights on the sidewalk next to the court. There was no fence around the court, so they could get on it without worrying about being locked out. The rest of the small park was barren, with a few playing pieces of equipment to the side and a small field area behind that. It was calm and serene. The lights on the nearby houses were all off, adding to the privacy.
“It's not fair if you have the ball first,” Taehyung complained, “you are obviously better than me.”“Fine,” Jungkook said, passing the ball over. “First to 10 points has to become the other slave for a day” he continued before Taehyung could protest. “You get the ball back after every shot I make.” Taehyung huffed and agreed, immediately dribbling the ball past Jungkook and making a 2-pointer when he was distracted. The younger lept towards him too late, trying to intercept the ball in the air but it was too far up to reach. “Told you I wasn’t that bad,” Taehyung laughed cheekily, he could already feel his cheeks reddening from the exercise and cold combined. Jungkook rolled his eyes at him as he went back to the centre. The next time the younger was ready though, intercepting the ball and flying across the court to make a 2-pointer as well. “Copycat,” Taehyung retorted pettily at it, receiving the ball again. Jungkook just laughed at him, taunting him by bluffing when Taehyung reached for the ball. The game continued on, Jungkook beating him over and over again but Taehyung didn’t make it easy. The elder was quick and fast from his experience at dancing, and very light on his feet. The ravanette was clearly the better one though, he was precise with his movements and had skill with the ball that no one would have if they didn't play it even a little professionally. He guided through the court in practised fluidity, stalling from time to time to give Taehyung a chance and to draw out the time. The thing about both of them was that they were fiercely competitive, no matter how inevitable it was with Jungkook winning, Taehyung didn’t slack off. Jungkook clapped him on the back after he successfully made a three-pointer. The end result was 7-10, Jungkook making mostly 1-pointers in an attempt to give the elder a chance.
Taehyung pouted the whole way back, not happy at the prospect of being Jungkook's slave for the day. The younger was very mischievous when he wanted to be. As he thought about what the younger would do, he couldn’t come up with many ideas. They were not doing similar courses so he couldn’t do his work for him, so what else was there. “Cheer up hyung,” Jungkook said as he received a one-armed hug, “you're actually really good at playing. We should definitely play together more.” “You're just saying that because I'm an easy target,” Taehyung saw through the bullshit. He was a decent player like he had said previously, but Jungkook was miles ahead of him. A casual game with him would be fun though. “AND because you are fun to play with,” Jungkook added. Taehyung looked up at that, the younger never spoke about their relationship, ever. They never spoke about what they mean to each other or show affection except the occasional "thanks".“You are basically my closest friend here.” The brunette's heart leapt at that. The sentiment behind Jungkook's words made his insides warm in a way they shouldn't so easily. Anything the other did make Taehyung happy. Trying to suppress his giddy smile, he asked,“ so if we are going to play basketball for you that shouldn’t you join me with yoga?” The younger clearly wanted to spend more time around Taehyung, or so he hoped. They never really spoke to each other outside of their dorms and the two times he had dinner with his father's. Their relationship hadn't progressed further than being in a comfortable lul around each other but Taehyung wanted more, so much more. The few times Jungkook did something that was more than casual like after the party gave him newfound hope that shouldn't be there. He sees how the other's eyes linger on his body for longer than it should, so he may or may not wear skimpier outfits in the mornings to catch them. He was too far gone and they still were just casual friends. Jungkook scoffed loudly, scrunching his nose cutely. “Me doing yoga? That’s for rich suburban mums who keep it vanilla, I have more spice to that.” The comment made Taehyung upset a little but he suppressed the negativity. Jungkook was always a bit careless with his words, he never meant any harm. “Kook,” Taehyung drawled, trying to maintain the playfulness, “I AM a rich suburban mum.” Jungkook turned to meet his gaze, staring at each other for a second before they both burst out into a fit of giggles. The younger's eyes crinkle from how deeply he smiled, making look cute in contrast to his usual brooding face. “But it’s different when you do it, you make it look cool. I know yoga has all these benefits and stuff but no thanks. I will look so dumb.” Cool. He made it look cool. “No you won’t,” Taehyung reassured. “It’s actually quite calming. I'm curious as to your flexibility, to be honest, how much do you really stretch your muscles when you practise.” “Not much, not more than needed,” Jungkook replied.
“Hyung can I have a back massage?” Jungkook said as he lounged on the bed. There wasn’t very much that Jungkook could boss him around to do as he already did most of the chores on his own, so instead, he was being more creative with his demands. The bet was pretty stupid considering who he made it with if it was with Yugyeom or anyone else in his team it probably would be more fun. He could taunt them and make them do silly things like down a whole bottle of coke in one go or drink toilet water. That wasn't something he wanted his roommate to do though.Taehyung huffed but settled his weight on his back anyway, kneading his taut muscles. Jungkook loved the feeling of the elder working on his body, his fingers were so soothing to the touch. The elder also had the softest hands he had ever felt too, just like the rest of him, soft. His hair was also so soft looking. Recently, his roommate had curled his hair, making them look so cute. Jungkook really wanted to run his fingers through them but he didn't. “You're doing yoga with me tomorrow morning,” said Taehyung as he worked on his lower back. Jungkook turned his head slightly to look at him in disdain. “I am?” “Yep, 7 am” Jungkook moaned in protest. “That's way too early, who wakes up at that time. Only psychopaths wake up willingly, psychopaths and you.” “Hey, I'm only waking up then because we both have morning lectures. I don't wake up at that time every day as I sleep in a bit for my afternoon lectures.” “You're always awake for breakfast though,” Jungkook noticed. The elder always had food ready for when he woke up, sometimes he would be stretching but others he looked like he was straight out of bed. Regardless, they always ate together in the morning and often at night too. “Because I like eating with you daily, it's our routine.” Taehyung got off him and settled back onto his desk, opening up his laptop. Jungkook hummed, “I like it too.” He turned around and smiled at the elder, who reciprocated it back. Taehyung really did have a nice smile. Starting the day with the elder was something he really enjoyed, the week the elder was gone made him feel so lonely despite spending the majority of it with his teammates. He felt hollow when he woke up to find notable ready in between their beds with the food already laid out. Sometimes he would wake up in time to help Taehyung lay it all out. Doing it all by himself was depressing. “There is literally nothing I can get you to do,” Jungkook huffed as he thought about the bet, “how are you supposed to be my slave hyung?” “I don’t know, you figure it out yourself.” Taehyung brushed him off as he turned around. The joggers were low on his hips, but paired with he tight jumper he was wearing made him look homely rather than sexy like most guys look in the same clothes. These were the few times the elder fit the broke college student look, the other times he looked semi put together. “Hyung, buy me lunch, please. KFC.” Taehyung looked at him offended, “I literally meal-prepped food for us today. Why do we need to go out?” Jungkook laughed at the other fondly. He really sounded like his father. “Cmon let's go. Your food is nice and all, really nice. But sometimes greasy food is a treat. We are college students, our cholesterol levels are supposed to be really high.” He stood up and took off his shirt to change into something else fit for going out. He didn't catch the way taehyung's eyes followed him as he moved around, too busy occupied getting his phone and keys. He turned around and gave Taehyung a cheeky smile. "And you have no choice remember. Pay for me please." Taehyung gave him a look before getting up as well. “Fine.”Jungkook was reminded of their contrasting personalities again when they left the dorm. Taehyung was wearing comfy grey joggers with a different baby blue sweater and white jacket and scarf, looking toasty and cute. Jungkook, on the other hand, was wearing an all-black ensemble with a bomber jacket and chunky combat boots. “You buy really healthy food you know, to eat,” Jungkook piped up as they walked to the nearest fast food place they could find. KFC turned out to only be a drive-through near them. “Like, I saw the shopping and it was all gluten-free, low fat and so on.” “Well duh,” Taehyung said as if it was obvious, “you're an athlete so you need the good stuff, and it's the same price as the normal foods as well. They also have sales for that type of stuff all the time too. It also tastes exactly the same.” Jungkook nodded in appreciation. His roommate had thought about his dietary needs when shopping even though he never asked, that made him feel touched. “Honestly, most of my teammates are living off ramen, cereal and pasta. I don’t think the healthiness of the food matters but thanks a lot,” Jungkook pondered for a second, “actually that may be why I'm fitter than them. I'm the fastest runner and have the highest stamina. Thanks, hyung.” Taehyung tried not to think too much about the stamina part. It felt good to know that the younger appreciated his actions instead of leeching off of his kindness as he did in the first week.
Jungkook was surprised when Taehyung ordered one of the bigger burgers as a large meal instead of something like the salad or a snack. He ordered the same as well. He was even more surprised when Taehyung ordered ice cream on top of everything else. The total cost was more than Jungkook anticipated, and he was ready to apologise the elder when he received a playful glare before the card was swiped. He surpassed the urge to ask about the food choice as they waited for food. As they sat down with their food, he couldn’t take his eyes off the way the elder’s lips curved around the burger, mouth widening largely as he took a big chunk out of it. His cheeks puffed up as they were stretched from all the food inside, some sauce smeared on Taehyung’s lips which he quickly licked off. Jungkook had not expected Taehyung's mannerisms to be like this out. The other always ate cleanly and politely with impeccable manners, he guessed that the change in scenery made him change his attitude. The messy actions was still a funny contrast to his tidy appearance. “Woah,” Jungkook said in awe, trying to suppress the way his dick may or may not have twitched at the spectacle. So he knew how to get messy? Taehyung raised an eyebrow at him. “Don’t tell me you also expected me to eat fast-food daintily as well,” he scoffed after he swallowed down the food in one big gulp, taking a long sip out of his milkshake. Jungkook looked away in embarrassment, more from the way Taehyung's pink lips sucked on the straw than what he said. “Guilty as charged.” “Dumbass,” Taehyung muttered under his breath as he took another large bite. How wide could his mouth open? “Hey,” Jungkook tried to defend himself, “It’s not my fault that you are full of surprises. I thought you were one way but every time I get to know you, you change completely.” “Then stop assuming,” Taehyung lectured, “stereotypes are a bitch, as we both know.” “True,” Jungkook agreed, “can’t help it though. You are more masculine than I thought.” “Maybe because I am a man,” Taehyung gasped in mock shock, clutching his hand to his chest with exaggerated wide eyes. Oh yeah, he was. It was then in that moment that Jungkook realised how much he was struggling to think around the other. With how comfortable he felt around him and how their relationship was progressing, he found himself treating him like he would to a girl, a girl that he would eventually ask out. Taehyung blunt statement made him come back to terms with the truth, they could never date because Taehyung wasn’t a female, and Jungkook wasn’t gay. It made him sad to think about, the elder would probably make a good girlfriend, he checked all of the boxes. He pondered on it more as the day went on. Taehyung was a bunch of pleasant surprises that always left him impressed. Looking at him now, it was a wonder how he still is single. Anyone can see that he is hot as fuck and nice as fuck. "Kookie," Taehyung called out as he tried to wake the other, "time to do yoga." Jungkook grumbled under his bedsheets, taking out one unclothed arm to try and swat in the direction of his voice. Taehyung laughed. Smirking evil, he whipped off the duvet in one go, leaving Jungkook out in the open. He regretted it immediately. "Hyung, that's too much," Jungkook said in his raspy morning voice as he sat up, cute morning hair concealing his tired eyes. Taehyung gulped as he looked at all the exposed skin. Jungkook was only in his tiny briefs. "I told you we would do this," his voice wavered slightly as he tried to compose himself. Languidly, the younger stepped off the bed with so much skin on show and pulled on a random pair of joggers and hoodie. He had really nice thighs, taehyung noted. His back was all nice and muscular too. "Okay," taehyung said cheerily as he turned on the calm music. Jungkook sat cross-legged in front of him and rubbed his eyes, staring at him distantly. He eyed the others attire, a loose white shit that was basically see-through and black cycling shorts. He looked so sensual. taehyung guided Jungkook through various easy positions, helping him transition between moves and coordinate his breathing in time with everything else. Jungkook took it with stride and followed through, his strength only wavering a little when he had to slowly move from a difficult position to another. "This is so easy," Jungkook stated near the end, "not challenging at all." "Oh yeah," taehyung said as he manoeuvred his body to bend backwards, the shirt rode up completely, exposing his lean stomach and smooth pale skin. Jungkook's mind ventured into dangerous territories once again at the image of Taehyung in front of him. "I obviously can't do that," he snapped himself out of his haze, "I don't have the flexibility." "Try this," taehyung said as he got into what looked like a handstand but his body was still curled up in itself. Jungkook tried it but realised that he needed and core strength that he did not possess. Taehyung was stronger than he looked. "Okay I surrender, yoga is hard and boring." "it isn't hard," taehyung defended and then deepened his voice to sound like a lecture, "you just don't have inner peace." "What? This isn't Kungfu Panda," Jungkook laughed. "Still, you aren't' very calm. Yoga helps with that" Jungkook took his word for it.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
“What are you watching?” Jungkook asked as he plopped down on his bed. Taehyung’s eyes were fixated on his laptop screen as he watched some shows. “Avengers,” Taehyung said absentmindedly, not bothering to look up. Jungkook perked up at that, he was a die-hard Marvel fan. “Wait, which one,” he asked eagerly, already moving towards the elder. Taehyung scooched up on the bed, still fixated on the screen. He noticed the bag of popcorn next to him and reached over to grab some, leaning his whole body over Taehyung. The elder protested at the screen being covered, slapping Jungkook’s bare skin before realising that the younger was shirtless. He immediately started blushing at the sight, he still hadn’t got used to the younger parading around the dorms shirtless, his back tattoo exposed. “I'm going to get a sleeve on my right arm and chest,” he had mentioned one day. Taehyung had spent a worrying amount of time drooling over the visual. “Civil war, just started,” Taehyung answered after composing himself, he adjusted himself so he was leaning with his feet dangling off the side of the bed, giving Jungkook more room to sit. The younger snatched his blanket that was covering his head, ignoring the protest and snuggling into it right next to the elder. This was too much. “Well, pass the snacks and increase the volume. That's my favourite movie in the franchise,” Jungkook was blissfully unaware of Taehyung’s struggles as he carried on invading his personal space, leaving the elder short-breathed. They watched the rest of the movie without Taehyung worrying again. Near the end, Jungkook nosed his collarbone softly, leaning in and taking a couple of sniffs. “You know you always smell really good,” he said, leaning his head on Taehyung’s shoulder casually, “I like your smell.” Taehyung died.
Jungkook joined his friends for a party. It was something more lowkey in a small club with slower tunes instead of the usual jumpy beats most clubs had. He looked around the area, already deciding that he would frequent this club more. There were a lot of people around, but most were sitting down taking shots instead of using the small mosh pit. That would probably change as the night progressed. He suddenly spotted Taehyung in the bar area, sitting with Hoseok and a guy called Namjoon. Namjoon was only three years older but already doing his masters. He was some kind of child prodigy in the literature world. Jungkook had never spoken to him, only heard basic stuff about him. “Tae,” he greeted the elder, coming closer to him. The brunette looked up from his phone, face lighting up at the sight of him. “Oh hi, I didn't know you were something here.” “Neither did I until 20 minutes ago.” taehyung laughed good-naturedly. He lifted up his drink, waving it near Jungkooks face. The younger eyed the colourful drink curiously. “Try it, it's so good. You can't tell that it's about 20% because of how sweet it is but that's what I love about it. Also means that I get wasted quicker though.” Jungkook took a large slurp from the straw, contemplating the face then scrunched his nose up a little at the taste. “Yeah, I can see why you like it. I don't like sugary drinks. I prefer beer.” Taehyung rolled his eyes. “Obviously.” His teammates waved him over so he went back, Hansung eyeing him weirdly. “You know Taehyung,” he asked. Jungkook nodded absentmindedly. Hansung was another guy who was weird about Taehyung like Taeil. “Don't be too close to him though, he's done some shitty things.” Jungkook looked over at him, annoyed by that comment. “Like what?” Hansung shook his head. “Not appropriate to say.” Jungkook was about to question it more, not happy about such accusations being thrown about his friend but dropped it when the first round of drinks came. He forgot about Taehyung as the night progressed, getting too engrossed in the drinking games. He won every time. The pleasant vibe of the night and the atmosphere of the club motivated him to move to the dancefloor. The songs were upbeat but sensual, right up his alley. He soon ended up next to Taehyung, his roommate's eyes wide from alcohol and lips spread into a goofy smile. “Hi,” he giggled. “Hey,” Jungkook smiled back. Taehyung didn't say anything else, instead grabbed his hands and started swinging them in tune with the song, wiggling his hips as well. The revanette couldn't help but laugh along, enjoying the dancing. They danced together for longer, bodies getting closer and closer. He soon got close enough to see the light dust of glitter on the other’s cheeks, the individual specs visible in the pretty lighting. Just as he was about to bring the elder closer for a hug, the song changed to something bumpy. Taehyung widened his eyes and pulled back, throwing punches above his head as he spun around. The intimate moment broke as Jungkook was laughing again, joining the other in his goofy actions. It was halfway through the third upbeat song that Jungkook looked at his watch and caught the time. Taehyung had a class the next day, he should probably head back. “Tae, I think it’s time to leave,” he called out, leaning in to whisper into his ear. The elder stopped and pouted, turning to face him and slamming his shoulders forward. It was really cute. “I want to stay longer though,” he whined, pressing his body on Jungkook’s side. The younger noticed how well he fit. “No, we should go,” he argued back. Taehyung looked at him for a second, huffing and turning way after a short stare-down. He hugged Hoseok goodbye and came back to Jungkook, looking at him pointedly. The younger player couldn't see his teammates so he sent a message in the chat instead, walking out of the door with an arm wrapped around Taehyung’s shoulders. The walk back home was shorter than normal, the club close to their dorms. They spent it in silence, just relishing each other's company as they cooled down from the buzz. They stopped for a second to let Taehyung piss in some bushes, carrying on walking after. “It's a really clear sky tonight,” Taehyung murmured as they walked, the elder’s body leaned towards him. Jungkook looked up at the sky and hummed back as a response. “Have you ever gone stargazing,” the former asked, turning his head away from the sky to focus solely on Jungkook. “No, I never really managed to distinguish the different constellations. Gave up after trying once,” he answered truthfully. He never really understood astronomy. “I love stargazing, learning about all these stories people have given them, ones that have been passed on from generation to generation” Taehyung's eyes lit up as he spoke, leaving Jungkook entranced for a second. The elder always spoke about things he was passionate about with this effort around him, it made Jungkook untested in Taehyung's words even if he didn't give any shits about the subject. “That's cool,” he muttered noncommittally, still focussed on Taehyung's face. He really had a nice side profile, had it always been this pretty? “I see stars in your eyes,” Taehyung said, stopping his walk, “I see stars reflected in your eyes all the time. It's so pretty.” The last words were hushed as if he was telling Jungkook a secret. The elder looked so pretty there, with his windswept hair and a flowy top. He couldn't control himself from leaning forward to capture the glossy pink lips, looking like glazed doughnuts. He always wondered what his lips tasted like. The kiss was soft but eager, a faint taste of cherry on his lips. Taehyung reciprocated the kiss, pulling him closer which Jungkook eagerly reciprocated. The elder felt good in his arms, perfect. He couldn't think of a better place to be. Soon they pulled away to catch their breath, Jungkook wanted to lean back in but Taehyung stomped him by clutching his hand. " let's quickly get back to our dorm," he giggled. Jungkook nodded and pulled him closer as they walked back. The tension rose the more they walked, becoming unbearable when they finally entered the building.
He pushed the elder onto the bed the minute they entered the room, losing all self-control. Jungkook leaned down to capture Taehyungs lips in a painful kiss. There was no control left in his body. Taehyung reciprocated everything, using his arms to pull the younger closer. Their hips started moving against each other, trying to find a release. Jungkook towered over him as he leaned back, lifting one of his legs right up to his face as he started to grind down on Taehyung. “You’re so flexible, that is hot as fuck,” he rasped as he angled himself better, rubbing against Taehyung harder. The elder just moaned, Giving Jungkook all the control. He pulled the younger down to a sloppy kiss, moaning into the kiss as they sped up. Gasping as he felt his orgasm built up, Jungkook detached his lips and instead pressed it on his collarbone, aggressively. After they both orgasmed, Jungkook flopped down on top of Taehyung, giving him one last kiss before passing out. Taehyung stayed awake for a few more hours, mind plagued with what happened as he sobered up.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
When Jungkook woke up the next morning, Taehyung had gone about his routine like normal. He passed the alpha some painkillers and a glass of water as he stumbled out of bed, a soft thanks being received back. Taehyung watched as Jungkook went to the bathroom. He had decided after yesterday's events to act normal like nothing was wrong. Jungkook wasn’t gay, he had told him so ages ago, so last night may have been a hitch in his normal actions. Guaranteed, Taehyung was very feminine and good looking, so Jungkook may have just latched onto him because of that, rather than anything personal. He didn’t want to be a private fantasy or a dirty secret, so unless Jungkook made moves to hint that yesterday meant more than that he was not going to let it affect him. It would just leave him heartbroken. The younger didn't spare him a glance when he came back into the room, just shuffled around a bit. Jungkook awkwardly sat opposite them as he handed the other pancakes, that’s all the younger liked to eat now and Taehyung diligently made them for him all the time. Home-cooked ones always tasted better than the store-bought ones. Their fingers accidentally brushed and Taehyung retracted his hands like he got burnt, feeling shy by the touch. The younger didn't pay any attention to his reaction though, digging into the food immediately To avoid tension, Taehyung spoke. “How's the hangover?” he said nonchalantly, hoping that his voice didn’t betray how nervous he was feeling. He really didn't want to ruin what he and Jungkook had. Out of two options, being Jungkook's friend was way better than being fuckbuddies or just an awkward one-night stand. The younger paused his actions, taking some time to respond. Taehyung felt regret at speaking, the younger didn't seem very happy. Before he could brush it off, he got a response. “Not that bad actually,” he said gruffly, sleep laced around his words. Jungkook said it casually but the atmosphere became even more awkward than before. It got unbreakable as they awkwardly shuffled around each other to tidy up and get dressed. They stayed in their respective sides of the room, not coming close to each other. The brunette couldn't help but keep lacing at Jungkook's back, feeling apprehensive. Taehyung couldn't bear the awkward silence any longer. “About last night, I hope it doesn't make things awkward between us.” There it was, he said it. Now all he needed was for Jungkook to confess that he had a crush on the elder since the start of the year and had loved every second of that night and wanted to progress into a relationship. “Yeah, obviously,” Jungkook muttered. “We can forget about what happened.” Or maybe that was Taehyung’s thoughts instead. At least Jungkook didn't say he regretted it or anything just agreed with Taehyung. The brunette still wished for something better though, he was a little too infatuated. At the end of the day, their friendship was more important, especially as they were roommates. As Taehyung was about to leave the room, he couldn't help but blurt out, “I liked last night.” He immediately turned red, avoiding the younger's gaze and shuffling quickly out the door, he had never been good at hiding his emotions. As he was about to close it, he heard a “same,” from inside. He felt a bit giddy at that. So Jungkook didn't regret it. Sleeping with him showed that being with a guy didn't repulse him, so maybe Jungkook could grow feelings for him in the future? Taehyung noticed a shift in their relationship over the following week. After their small talk the morning after, they resumed as normal, except Jungkook and he became more intimate. The younger would offer to help him with dishes or rest his hand on his thigh or waist when they were near. They had lunch together one day as well with Jimin and Hoseok which never usually happened. Jungkook stuck to his basketball friends like glue half of the time. There was one fateful moment where Taehyung bravely asked if he could lay next to Jungkook on his bed to watch a video together. He wasn't curious about the video at all but just wanted to be close to the guy, sleeping in the same bed as he had felt so nice, their bodies fitting perfectly against each other. Jungkook had wordlessly put his arm out and he easily slotted into the spot like he was meant to be there. The younger was killing him with his casual attitude. Was this a sign? He hoped it was a sign.
Jungkook wanted to forget about what had transpired a week ago, but he couldn’t bear to. Taehyung had felt so perfect beneath him and curling up to him in bed just felt so natural. Instead of pushing it away, he just felt closer to the other. That would be a dumb mistake anyway, the elder was like a crutch to him and losing him would feel awful. Jungkook never had been good with breakups. Losing his old friends in high school in his last year and finding other people to hang out with had been awful. The only positive way that it was during exam season so he could sit alone with headphones on and not look like a loser. Even now when the past relationships he had with those friends were completely obliterated to the point of no recovery he still sometimes thought about them, mourning the loss even if they were all shitty people. Taehyung being amazing would make any distance between them unbearable. It was weird because he was a guy and Jungkook didn't like guys, but being with Taehyung felt like one. He was so pretty and feminine that he couldn't distinguish the difference between being with him and being a girl. It just felt right. He didn’t know if he liked Taehyung, he didn’t think he did at all, but there was an undeniable attraction to the latter that he couldn't explain, and he couldn't get away from. He was always very instinctual, letting his emotions guide him above others. Right now all he wanted to do was be more intimate with the elder, so that is what he did.
Taehyung felt restless as he slept, he had called his mother earlier and it had left him feeling sad. She was currently sicker than usual, something that happened often, he wished he was there for her. He tossed and turned in the best, unable to find comfort in any of his plushies. His grandma would always cuddle with him when he was younger, and as he got older he would hug his smaller siblings instead. Right now he didn't have anyone. “You good?” Jungkook called out. Shit. He had probably been too loud with all of his movements, Jungkook was a deep sleeper, he was being too loud. He immediately stopped moving even when the position was a bit awkward for him. The pillow was positioned weirdly under his bed and he didn't like how the blanket was folded over him. “Yeah,” he replied, “I'm just struggling to sleep. I get like this when I'm having a bad day. Usually, I cuddle with someone or use a plushy as a substitute but nothing is working. I'll probably settle down in a minute.” “Oh, you can join me if you want,” Jungkook responded back. Taehyung blinked into the darkness. Had he misheard that? “I don't mind cuddles or whatever, just don't cling too much.” “Oh,” Taehyung felt dumbfounded as he silently stood up and cautiously joined the younger in his bed. The fit was odd with the size of the bed but it was okay when they laid on their sides. He would usually kick a fuss but for Jungkook he was always thirsty for more. It was a bit pathetic, especially with how unbothered he is all the time. Jungkook felt warm against his back, they weren't hugging, but if the younger moved a bit closer he would be a little spoon. There was no contact like Taehung needed, but just the feeling of having someone close by put his mind to ease. Willing away his desperate thoughts, he tried to focus on his breathing and the comfort he felt rather than the man behind him. When he woke up, he was in the same position, but with Jungkook's arms around him tightly instead. He spent a few minutes blushing at the feeling, the firm chest on his back was too nice to not gawk over and tried to stand up. That's where the issue lied. Jungkooks grip was unbreakable, his arms were completely wrapped around him, making prying them off impossible. He struggled for a minute and was about to give up when he felt movement behind him. “What are you doing,” Jungkook murmured into his neck. “I need to wake up,” Taehyung replied, he was feeling so hot at this stage that there was no way Jungkook couldn't feel it. “It’s Saturday, sleep for a bit more,” Jungkook dismissed him and buried his face into his neck, the grip becoming tighter. Yep, either he was too sleepy to realise what he was doing or the revanette was too casual about contact. Either way, Taehyung was in the afterlife.
It became a bit of a routine for them to cuddle now, contact becoming more frequent. Taehyung found himself reaching for the other subconsciously when they were near or when they passed each other. They would constantly put their arms around each other when they passed, grips tighter than they should be. Surprisingly, Jungkook initiated the change first, something Taehyung would never expect to happen. The younger was full of so many surpises.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
It took a while but Tawhyubf was getting confident with his emotions. There was no way what they were doing was just platonic. There was constant touching and feeling, nightly cuddles and so many emotions between them.
It had to be deeper.
One night when they had a couple drinks and went home, he decided to be bold.
"Kook," Taehyung called as they cuddled under the bed sheets together. Jungkook hummed next to him.
"What exactly are we doing? Like are we fuckbuddies? Is it deeper than that?" The boy behind him stiffened a little.
"Do you want it to be deeper Tae?" Jungkook said slowly.
"Well it would be nice," Taehyung said, hoping this would go the direction he wanted it to.
"I like you Taehyung," Jungkook said, making Taehyung's heart soar. "But not in that way." His heart crashed back down.
"I'm not really gay you see, I’ve never liked a guy. I really do like you though, Tae, so much. I just dont think we could ever have anything more than sex though."
"So I was just a gay fantasy for you," Taehyung murmured bluntly, feeling his emotions crack. It wasn't fun finding out the one person you fell deeply for is playing with you.
"I mean kinda?"
"I can't believe you," Taehyung said, getting out of bed and into his own. Jungkook reached out to him, trying to get him back. This was something that always happened to people like him, whose ideal type of man always ends up being straight. So many men fantasise about being with another man and use them as a release when deep down in their heart they will never be able to reciprocate the love that their partners have. It's horrible and Taehyung already went through that once. He didn't want to believe that Jungkook was a bad guy, just confused, but it was hard to think that way when he says something like that.
"Those touches, the kisses, all of that was just so you could use me as an experiment? To live out your pornographic dreams?” Taehyung wished he could shut up, the more he verbalised what was going on the worse it became, but he wasn’t someone who could live in delusions.
"Hey," Jungkook interrupted, realising how fucked up what he said sounded. "That's not what I meant at all. I thought we were fuckbuddies, genuinely did. I wasn't hugging you and kissing you because I was playing with your feelings okay? I did that because it felt right, and you are very affectionate. I've seen you and Jimin give eachother little pecks as well. And I let you cuddle with me in bed because you like to and you're my friend."
Taehyung felt an ounce of relief at that, he wasn't getting played, they just weren't on the same page. His heart still hurt at the thought that Jungkook didn’t see him that way but a small part of him still hoped it could change.
"I dont think we should carry on having sex Kook," Tae stated. He really wanted to keep the same closeness he had with the younger, but that level of intimacy was not something he could do. He craved affection, but sex was not something he could ever be casual about. When he bares it all to someone, it’s not just his skin on show, but his deepest desires, his emotions, his vulnerability. He can never give it to someone who doesn't cherish him that way.
"It's messing with my emotions too much. You said it yourself, you arent gay so fucking me doesnt make sense."
"If that's what you want then okay," Jungkook agreed simply, he didn't like the conflict or Taehyung being upset. He never liked people close to him being upset, it was something he couldn't stand. "Now come back in bed please?"
"I thought I made the bed too cramped," he replied petulantly. He had managed to survive the whole conversation being mature but now his childish side was coming out again.
"Tae, you know that's not true. Well, it technically is but I like hugging you, and so do you. Friends cuddle each other don’t they?"
He turned around to stare at the younger’s pleading eyes. He was correct. Taehyung went back like the trusting idiot he was.
The relationship he was hoping to achieve ended up backfiring, but at least he knew that Jungkook cared for his feelings. Maybe he was being delusional, but there still could be a chance of something happening.
Jungkook had ended up winning another game he had that week, this time being the main scorer. As a celebration, he was forced to go clubbing with the other team members, the man of the match can never bail. It was a rule, something until then that he had managed to avoid. He wasn't that much of a clubber, but the lingering excitement buzzing in his veins made him willing.
The club wasn't too busy for a Thursday night, but still had a good turnout. Shots after shots were bought for him to down, something else he couldn't avoid. After his 12th, he waved the rest away, too drunk to take any more in. The party continued around him, the other teammates leaving their table to scout for girls. Jungkook stayed back and tried to stop his head from throbbing, he shouldn't have taken so many so quickly. As the adrenaline in his system died down and was replaced with alcohol, he was reminded once again why he never really partied. It was too loud, too hot, too everything he hated. Parties where you can have a decent conversation with friends were more alonghis style.
As he sat there, he thought about Taehyung. What was he doing now? The elder had an exam the next day so had stayed back from the game but still wished him good luck and congratulated him later. Thinking about his roommate made him miss him. Taehyung would be fun if he was here, he would pull him up to dance and they would goof about, throwing stupid moves on the dancefloor together or just jump about.
Mingyu suddenly came up behind him and pushed him off his chair, dragging him into the mosh pit.
“Stop being so boring,” his friend shouted, “this is your night.”
Jungkook agreed, the energy from the shots finally kicking into his veins. He scored a shit ton of goals, he should celebrate. Ignoring everything else, he moved his body in tune with the beat, letting himself get lost in the noise. A warm hand pressed against his side, a pretty face coming into his view. The arms curled his neck, leaning in closely. Jungkook looked down at the figure bleary-eyed, confused as to who they were but allowed them to carry on. His own hands down found their waist, leaning closer and chasing the warmth that he hadn't felt in some time. Soon, soft lips were pressed against his, the taste of cherry lip gloss on his mouth. Jungkook moaned at the familiar sensation, lapping up the feeling and hungrily leaning in for more.
As his body pressed closer onto the other, and his hands wandered up, he realised that this wasn't familiar at all. Taehyung wasn't this small. Taehyung. He pulled back to look at the person in front of him, it was a doll faced girl with pink locks, nothing like his roommate. He pushed her off in shock and went back to sit down.
Jungkook felt disgruntled with what happened, the kiss in the moment felt so right but now that it was over, he didn't enjoy it at all. There were too many teeth, too big lips, too eager mouth. Taehyung never opened his mouth that wide. He wanted Taehyung.
Clubbing no longer felt fun, so he exited the building and stumbled back home. He patted Yugyeom's back as he left, notifying someone of his departure. As he walked home, the alcohol slowly left his senses, giving him more clarity on the events of that night. All he wanted to do was be in Taehyung's embrace. So he did just that.
Carelessly, he entered their dorm, stripping down fully and joining his roommate in only his boxers. Just as he was about to pull the covers up, the urge to pee overcame him. With huff, he left the bed and entered the bathroom, relieving himself quickly before joining Taehyung and curling around the elder. He felt the brunette stirr a little, but instead of waking up he leaned further back into Jungkook's embrace.
Yep, this was better.
“So youre gay then,” Yugeyom asked when he spoke about Taehyung to him later.
“No, I don't like men, just Taehyung. No other man is attractive to me,” Jungkook defended.
“Fair enough,” he said, “Taehyung’s great. Is it just based on looks then?”
“No,” he denied, “I like everything about him. But its so weird because im not gay, I dont understand.”
“You could be bi,” Yugyeom stated. “You liked girls this whole time but Taehung came around and changed it all. You still like girls right.”
“Yeah but I tried to make out with this really hot girl but all I could think about was Taehyung.” Thinking back to that girl made him cringe a little, she was too aggressive. Taehyung was always more gentle.
“But you still are attracted to girls right.”
“And Taehyung.”
“Yeah, you're probably bi then, Tae is your bi awakening.”
“Hmm, that makes sense,” Jungkook admitted. He wasn’t opposed to being gay, not with his parents, but it was a wierd thing to realise. He didn't feel gay, “but I don't find any other guy out there attractive though.”
“When you had your first girl crush, did you find others attractive like that girl?”
Jungkook pondered for a second. He hadn't really messed around with girls that much, his experience being limited to a couple of hookups in his last year of highschool, apart from Taehyung. There was one girl he crushed on for a few months, but apart from that he had never been interested in dating or sex.“No, I could acknowledge if they looked good but I felt nothing for them.”
“Just like with Taehyung,” Yugeyom stated clearly, sitting back with a triumphant smile. “See, your feelings seem confusing but it's pretty straightforward. You want Tae, so go to him.”
Jungkook thought about those words for some time. Was it really that simple. When he had discussed love with his parents a long time ago, they mentioned how loving someone was the easy part, it was the relationship that was the difficult part.
Two people can love eachother but cannot stay together if they do not work well. Jungkook would like to think that he and Taehyung worked really well together. They never argued and when they did it was always civil and over small things, they both listened to each other and respected each other's space and wishes. Loving Taehyung felt easy, and so did being with him.
After spending even more time figuring out what exactly he wanted, he went back to the dorms with a determined expression.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
When he walked into the dorm, the elder was standing up and stretching, clearly having finished a yoga session. It turned the younger one so much. Jungkook raked his eyes over Taehyung’s figure, he looked really good. His eyes focussed on his left hip, where the tattoo resided. He couldn’t help himself as he reached out to palm Taehyung’s ass. The elder groaned as he leaned back, settling his head on the other’s shoulder. Jungkook leaned down to trail butterfly kisses down Taehyung’s face to his collarbones, nesting his face there and lapping at the skin. They swayed gently as Jungkook kept one hand smoothing over his ass, the other slipping under the front of Taehyung’s shirt. “What are you doing,” Taehyung whispered, eyes still closed as his lips traced Jungkook’s ears. “Taking what I want,” Jungkook replied. “I want you.” Taehyung opened his eyes at that, slowly detaching himself from jungkook and turning around to face him.“I told you before, this is messing with my emotions, I can't handle it if it isn’t sincere.” Jungkook stepped forward, settling his hands on Taehyung's waist. His eyes softened a little. He didn’t know what he was doing but it felt right. “I want you.” All the self control Taehyung had the past two weeks dissolved after those three words. He crashed his lips against Jungkooks, savouring the feeling.
Jungkook pulled back, giving Taehyung a quick peck. “Lets head back,” he smiled, turning around with Taehyung's hand in his. They rushed down the street back to the dorms, stopping very few minutes to make out for a bit. When they finally entered the building, Jungkook had lost his patience. As they crashed their lips once again at the bottom of the stairs, he grabbed Taehyung's legs, hoisting him up and running up to their room. Taehyung giggled in his arms. “So strong,” he muttered as he left a hickey on Jungkook’s skin. The revanette threw the elder onto the bed. “You really like my strength don't you,” he smirked, lifting his shirt off and leaning on top of Taehyung, uniting their lips once again. The kisses became less lust filled and more slower, passionate. Jungkook turned himself in the elder's embrace, wanting nothing but him. Reluctantly, he luppled off his jeans and boxer in one go, doing the same for Taehyung. “Why are you rushing,” the brunette asked, placing his hands over where Jungkook tried to take off his shirt too. “I want you,” Jungkook said sincerely, looking deep into his eyes, “I want to see you, feel you taste you. Everything about you, I want you.” Taehyung took his shirt off himself, not breaking his gaze with the younger. “Why do you want me?” He asked, a wave of uncertainty in his words. “Because it feels right. Being with you feels right.” Taehyung melted into the other's embrace, letting the younger take control. The kisses became even slower, the touches softer and every movement more relaxed. Jungkook fingered him gently, spending his time opening him up as Taehyung writhed under him, moans swallowed by his mouth. It was a split-second decision, and Jungkook wasn't sure if he would regret it later. “I want to take you raw,” Jungkook stated, “I want to feel every part of you.” Taehyung looked up at him and pondered for a second. This was incredibly soon, and unexpected. he wasn't opposed to it, it wasn't like he could get pregnant, but it was a huge step. One look into Jungkook's deep eyes and he was already agreeing. “Okay, we are both clean right?” “Yep,” Jungkook agreed, slowly slipping inside.
Taehyung woke up the next morning tangled up in Jungkook just like he had been for several weeks, but this time it felt completely different. Jungkook was awake, rubbing his face gently over Taehyung's shoulder, pressing kisses on his bare skin. They were still sticky from the night before. “Ugh,” Taehyung moaned, the pain in his lower region was stronger than usual. “Why didn’t we clean up.” Jungkook carried on pressing kisses onto his skin, “we had three rounds, what was the point?” “Wow,” Taehyung muttered. Everything felt like a blur from last night, he was struggling to comprehend what happened. “How do you still smell good?” Jungkook asked as he sniffed his neck, pressing a kiss over his hickey there. Taehyung laughed. “You're like a dog. Let's get up and eat.”He started to get up, only to feel the sharp pain downstairs. He winced but paid it no mind until he stood up and took one step. Yep, this was no normal pain. "Fuck," he moaned as he crashed back into the bed. "Maybe I need some ice." Jungkook snorted so loudly. "I can't have made you that sore." The situation was so amusing, he decided to be a bigger annoyance by slapping his ass, the clap sound resonating through the walls. Taehyung screeched loudly. "That was unfair," He pointed, clutching his cheeks. "No more kisses." "Aww no, what do I have to do to get them back," Jungkook said playfully, nipping at Taheyung's neck. he was swatted away. "I want food, and a personal butler," He said simply. " Would be nice to have you taking care of me for once." "You want to be my princess," Jungkook smirked. He leaned forward and caged Taheyung, bringing their bodies flush together "Prince, actually." Their faces were so close now. "Even better," Jungkook took this moment to steal a kiss from him, becoming a bit too daring as a hand went down to stroke Taehyung where it shouldn't be touching. They ended up having breakfast after another gentler round, messing up the sheets even more. Taehyung sat on Jungkook's lap the whole time, complaining about how the floor was too hard. This was exactly what they both wanted, but something felt too surreal.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Jungkook didn't understand how, but falling for Taheyung was so easy. He was easy to love. He was kind, caring, and generous. The elder never did anything to upset him and treated him well. It made Jungkook giddy all the time. Their relationship was so domestic, like the relationship his fathers have. Words didn't need to be said, they had their routines and it worked. "What should we do tonight?" Taehyung asked him that evening. " I was thinking of going bowling," Jungkook suggested. He loved doing it, especially at the bowling place near their dorm that had a happy hour. He had gone with the team once and had a way too eventful night. A couple of glasses had ended up smashed, and bowling balls lost, but miraculously they were not kicked out. "You want to go just because you would win," Taehyung scoffs. "I'm crap at aiming." "That's my job," Jungkook said smugly, earning a fluffy pillow to be thrown in his direction. In the end, they did go bowling, and Jungkook did kick Taehyung’s ass. Much to the elder’s displeasure, the bet that he was forced to agree to was also lost. He now owed the younger a week of foot rubs. Taehyung huffed, thinking about how much he already did for the ravanette; but he didn’t mind all this extra work, it was his love language. “Tae,” Jungkook called out softly as they were exiting the dorm building. The elder was trailing behind as he tried to sort out the folders in his arms. He had a paper due tomorrow and was preparing for a night of restless writing in the library. “Hmm,” Taehyung mumbled back, head down as he opened up a page in his folder to remove his study timetable. “It’s Taeil’s birthday in a couple of days”. Taehyung instinctively tensed up at the name. The two had yet to make contact with each other, his roommate making it his goal to avoid everyone in his team except for Yugyeom who routinely came round. “He really loves seaweed soup, and he hasn’t been home in a while. He keeps banging on about how he misses his home-cooked meals. I was wondering if you could make him some soup as his present. He would really appreciate some.” “But why would I give him anything? You are aware that we don’t like each other.”
Jungkook positioned his body so that it was fully facing Taehyung, now very interested in the conversation. This was something he wanted to talk about for a while.“Which I do not understand, by the way. You haven’t actually told me.”
Taehyung sighs. “It’s a sensitive subject. I promise I will tell you when the time is right, it just involves stuff that’s deep. I don’t want to just tell you why we don’t get along, but also how it relates to me. I’m not ready yet.”
Jungkook sighed. He had always been impatient but didn’t want to force Taehyung into saying anything.
“Okay, but please make it? For me? I'll buy the ingredients and everything, he’s been a good friend to me so I want to do something thoughtful for him,” the younger one whined and tugged on Taehyung’s back. “Okay.” Taehyung relented. Jungkook had dangerous puppy eyes, it was something he couldn’t get used to. He also struggled to say no to him. “You know seaweed soup is not that hard to make,” Taehyung said in disdain as he turned the stove on. The communal kitchen was slightly messy this morning, he had to spend a good while cleaning the stove so that it didn't still have burned food stuck to it. “Yeah, but Taeil is fussy and you make everything taste like it’s from your mum.” The elder was really good at cooking, it rivaled his dad’s. He honestly was not sure how he would survive university without him. Taehyung huffed as he looked at the ingredients, it was a nice compliment, but he wasn’t going to let it faze him. “Could you also make pajun and fried chicken?” Taehyung fixed him with a glare, “I am not a personal chef, this is more effort than it's worth.” “I mean, you are kinda my personal chef,” Jungkook gave him a coy smile, leaning his body towards the elder to annoy him. “And I would greatly appreciate it.” Taehyung looked away from him and back at the stove.“You seriously are going all out for him.” “Well yeah, he’s a good friend to me,” Jungkook furrowed his brow, Taehyung knew this. There was more going on. “You seem upset. Is it because you don’t like him?” “You haven’t done anything this nice for me.” “Well it’s not your birthday for a while, is it? And hey I bought you dinner after you finished your work as a treat, and I pay more for food.” The meal was a little more expensive than he expected it to be, Taehyung ended up chipping in a bit, but the meal was still mostly paid for by him. “That’s because I cook everything, '' Taehyung rolled his eyes. And I keep the bathroom clean and vacuum. For someone who is sensitive to smells and hates clutter, you are very messy”
Jungkook pouts. “I help you when you ask” “Half the time you are asleep when I clean.” He was smiling now, he didn't mind doing the chores, it was one of his favorite pass times. “This is nearly cooked, when are you giving it to him?” “Later today,” Jungkook sniffed the chicken, it was so fragrant that he was tempted to just eat it himself. “Oh, his birthday is today?” “No, its tomorrow, but he’s got a field trip so we are doing something today,” Jungkook placed all the food in the bag and kissed Taehyung on the cheek. “Thanks for this, I will let you know how he reacts.”
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
“I got you some homemade seaweed soup for your birthday. You won’t have your mums for a while, but this should keep you sane for longer.” Jungkook happily passed Taeil his plastic bag. The elders neck was so red from all of the birthday slaps for long.
“Wow, thanks Jungkook,” He opened the lid and was attacked by the delicious smell. “It looks so good too, and the smell, ugh.” He rubbed his sore arm, which also took a beating just minutes ago.
“It’s freshly made so you should eat it soon. It’s still warm.” Taeil sat down and looked at the soup greedily. His smile was so pure and happy.
“Well eat it then you idiot,” Jungkook slapped the back of his head fondly. His response was so positive, he couldn’t wait to tell Taehyung later.
The minute the spoon made contact with his tongue, Jungkook saw his expression go blank, before transitioning into pure joy straight after.
“This soup tastes just like my mother's,” Taeil grinned, it's been months since I last had her cooking. “Oh god Jungkook, I love you so much now bro. Did you make it?" Taeil was already greedily finishing the rest of the soup as he said it, not bothering to savor the taste in his moment of pure euphoria.
"Hey, be careful before you start choking," Jungkook laughed. " And no, my roommate made it for you. I asked him to."
"Yeah," Yugeom exclaimed." Taehyung is an amazing cook. He has basically fed us these past few months."
Taeil suddenly dropped his spoon, the shrill clatter of it hitting the table slashed through the bubbly atmosphere. No one spoke. Yugeom gulped at that moment, realizing what a mistake he made.
"Did you just say Taehyung?" Taeil punched the words out slowly as if he struggled to comprehend what he was saying. Yugeom didn’t respond, opting to look away instead.
He turned to Jungkook, " So it's a yes then."
Jungkook nodded, confused at his response. Obviously, he knew that Taeil did not really like Taehyung, but he had guessed it was nothing too deep as it never escalated into anything. However, now faced with Taeil's indescribable expression, he realized that the hatred was so much deeper than that.
"What's wrong with Taehyung?" Jungkook spat, getting defensive. Even if they had a bad history, Tahyung was an angel. Taeil had no reason to act like the prospect of the other preparing his food was going to kill him.
"Wanna know why?" Taeil rumbled, shoving all the food in front of him away. He stood up and bent down over the table, leaning his upper weight on his hands whilst glaring into Jungkook's eyes. He was taken aback by how aggressive the other was acting, feeling more discomfort every second over what was happening. He was never someone who responded well to confrontation and this situation was no different.
"Because he has HIV" Taeil finished off, leaning back against and backing away from the table. His gaze shifted to the food as if it was the most horrible sight in the world. Jungkook's brain short-circuited. That was definitely not the answer he was expecting. Ice cold dread filled his insides, giving him the sudden urge to vomit.
"Wait, how do you know that?" Yugeom countered. "it's not exactly something you tell anyone-?”
"Because I saw him,"Taeil interrupted with a shout. A couple of heads turned in their direction at the noise. " I saw him at the doctors. He has it. He definitely does."
He gave Jungkook a leveled stare, drilling into his brain like he knew something that he didn’t know. Jungkook just stared blankly back, he was completely out of his comfort zone. All he could think about was how he fucked Taehyung raw, how Taehyung said he was clean, how Taehyung gave him one of the best nights in bed. He had no idea how to act.
"Now if you will excuse me, I am gonna go puke." Taeil walked off, leaving behind him a very tense situation. All the guys on the table switched their attention back onto Jungkook. The latter had not spoken or looked away from the distance in several moments.
"Jungkook?” Yugyeom tentatively asked, knowing full well about their intimate history.
"You have a spare bed in your room right?" Jungkook snapped his gaze to the younger one. He had made his mind already on what to do. Taehyung was to be removed from his life. Yugeom read between the lines pretty quickly and put his hand on his hsoudler, sensing the somber night they were going to have.
"Do you want me to help you pack?"
" No, it's fine, I will do it myself.” Jungkook abruptly left the table and walked out of the cafeteria. His head was spinning at the revelation, still unable to comprehend it. Taehyung had not only betrayed his trust, but may have ruined his life in the process, and not just emotionally. He didn’t know what to do apart from getting away from him and getting tested as soon as possible.
His parents came into the forefront of his mind. What would they say? Would they be hurt? Would they disown him? He shook off that thought. They would never do that, they loved him too much. They would be heartbroken though.
He ran up the stairs and barged into his dorm. Tears were forming in his eyes when he caught sight of the fresh pile of laundry on his bed. Why couldn’t Taehyung stay perfect? Why did he have to ruin it all? He threw a bunch of clothes in his bag, not caring if it was in order. Fistfuls of socks and underwear were also thrown in as well as his toiletries. He nearly broke down when he saw Taehyung's cute headband on the bathroom counter. After packing up as much as he could, he lays in bed for a few minutes trying to compose himself.
The sadness turned into anger very quickly. How dare Taehyung be so despicable, this went deeper than cheating or carelessness. It was unforgivable what he did.
He didn’t notice the door opening during his monolog. He didn’t notice Taehyung seeing his packed bags. He didn't notice Taehyung staring at his angry face and wanting to comfort him.
"Kook?" Taehyung's tentative voice snapped him out of his thoughts. He fixed the elder with the most scorching glare he could muster. The gasp the other let out somehow didn’t ease the pain.
"You're evil," he snapped. " you fucking lied. You told me you were clean. You let me fuck you raw. How dare you". With every word he punched out, Jungkook spotted closer to the other, grabbing his bags in the process.
"What do you mean-"
"You have fucking HIV and didn’t think to tell me? I am pretty sure that's criminal, hyung. You should be locked up." They were inches away from each other now.
Taehyung stood still at that, face completely shocked . Jungkook took it as a confirmation for the elder’s actions.
"I hate you" he stated, turning to the door and walking out. Just as he stepped out, Taehyung called again.
“Kook stop, please. I will explain everything. Just give me 5 minutes. 2. I only need 2.”
Jungkook harshly shrugged off the hand on his arm. “What could you possibly say to me that would explain what you did? Everything is crystal clear to me. Fuck off.”
With that, he stormed off down the dorm. Taehyung didn’t respond. Jungkook laughed bitterly at that. The elder was so guilty it was unbelievable.
“You forgot your phone,” Taehyung called back out. His phone in his hand. Jungkook turned around and walked back. As he grabbed his phone he was met with the pleading stare into Taehyung’s face.
“Please,” he whispered. His puppy dog eyes are in full force.
That angered Jungkook even more. How could the latter act as if it was Jungkook who was the one being irrational?
He punched Taehyung in the jaw, the sudden action and the force of the hit sensing the other onto the floor.
“Goodbye faggot,” he sneered as he walked away. Not realizing that it wasn't just his heart that got ripped apart.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
When Taehyung walked into his room, he didn't expect to see Yugyeom and Jaehyun. They stared at each other for a second before the two avoided eye contact and carried on with what they were doing. From the looks of it, Jungkook had sent them to pack the rest of his stuff. The elder did not know what to do, this was a sticky situation. He just awkwardly walked past them and to his bed, putting his things down. After a few seconds of awkward eye contact with the others, he thought to help them out. Jungkook had already taken his stuff a couple of weeks ago when he wasn’t here but there was still a lot left. He emptied Jungkook's drawers that were full of his unused books and put them all in a spare plastic bag. The guys had missed that when they were picking stuff up. “Thanks,” Yugyeom muttered, still avoiding eye contact. “Jungkook has stuff in the laundry I just set up. If you come back in an hour, it should be dry.” Yugyeom nodded, and looked like he wanted to say something but bit his lip to contain himself. It was when Taehyung walked away from that he got the urge to speak. “Why did you do that to Jungkook?” Taehyung stiffened but turned around calmly. “I didn’t. I don’t have HIV. It’s a misunderstanding.” Jaehyun also turned around to face him. “Why didn’t you tell him that then?” “I didn’t get the chance to, he just left.” Taehyung's voice dropped at the end, unable to control his emotions. “We’ll let him know then. It will save him from so much stress,” Yugyeom sighed in relief. He knew Taehyung would never do that, but it was unsettling to have been hit with such news. The elder’s confirmation was a huge relief. “No, I want to explain everything to him. Please ask him to talk to me.” And with that, Jungkook’s friends left, leaving Taehyung to weigh up his options. He wasn’t sure if he should approach Jungkook first, the younger was a lot more stubborn than him, but at the same time, he didn’t want rumors to start spreading. After a while of contemplating, he decided to give it one more week to cool down before he approached Jungkook.
Taehyung stumbled to Jimin’s dorm. His chest was searing with pain and his head throbbed. He could feel a large bruise blooming on the side of his face and his eye swelling up. The metallic taste of blood still lingered as he licked his lips, wincing when a sharp burst of pain came from his chest once again. “What happened?” Jimin screeched when he opened the door, hands flying to help Taehyung inside. “Later, first aid now,” he croaked, flopping on the couch and removing his shirt. His arms protested at the strain. Jimin returned with medical supplies, thank god for a part of his dance course that was focused on injuries. He stayed quiet as the other got to work, faintly hearing Hoseok on the other side of the room preparing something. After god knows how long, the burn from alcohol seeded over his body and the bandages were put on. Jimin pressed on his ribs to check if anything was broken, thankfully nothing was. He accepted the tea and pills that Hoseok handed him and sat up, head was thrown back as he took in deep breaths to calm himself. “What happened,” Jimin asked tentatively, catching onto Taehyung's fragile mental state. Tears fell from the sides of his eyes as he tried to collect himself, feeling pathetic at what happened earlier. “Taeil did it,” he said softly, leaning onto the soft touches of JImmin’s fingers on the unharmed side of his face. “He said it was for Jungkook.” He had been ambushed whilst he was walking to Jungkook’s dorm, which was near the basketball court. Taeil had come up out of nowhere and started swinging. Taehyung fought back, but the other was stronger than him, he could only land a few punches. “That bastard,” Jimin seethed, “he knew what he was doing with you, and didn't even let you explain. Why is he getting that slimy dude to hurt you?” “I don’t think Jungkook asked him to,” Taehyung whispered, “he just said he was acting out revenge on his behalf. He said things that Jungkook wouldn’t say. I don't think he knows what happened to me.” The silence was uncomfortable. This wasn’t how Taehyung wanted his second year to go. “Jin called me earlier,” he said after a while to change the subject. Jimin stopped stroking his hair for a second. “The asshole’s biological dad?” “Yeah. He was nice on the phone actually, more concerned than anything. Jungkook had gotten tested a few days ago and he wanted to know if it was true. I told him that Jungkook shouldn’t have it and that it was a rumor. I told him the full story briefly ” Taehyung paused to collect his thoughts. “He said he believed me and that if I wanted, he could arrange for us to talk about it. I told him it was fine. I think me and Jungkook need some time apart. I can’t bear to see him so soon.” “Understandably so,” Jimin agreed. “But when you do eventually talk to him, don’t jump in again. He deserves to pay for what he did. Actually, it would be better if you never spoke to him again.” “ I don’t think I could anyway,” Taehyung didn't think he could look Jungkook in the eye after what happened. It was too much stress, he needed more time. As if on cue, a week later, he received another call from Jin, but this one was a lot more friendly than the first. The father had been more reserved yet still polite when he had messaged Taehyung before, but now he was as jolly to him as prior to the incident. It was then that they spoke about making amends. Taehyung nervously walked to the table, catching sight of Jin first. His feet were shaky as he came closer, standing next to the table. It was then that Jungkook looked up at him. “What the fuck are you doing here?” Jungkook shouted, causing a bit of a stir. “I invited him,” Jin said pointedly, giving his son a pointed stare. “You did? After what he did?” Jungkook looked at his dad in betrayal, voice cracking near the end. Taehyung looked away, his chest heaving as he tried to stop panicking. “Yes, you two need to talk about what happened, Taehyung never told you the full story,” Yoongi said. “So he told you?” Jungkook said again, ignoring Taehyung’s presence. “Yes, but he needs to at least explain it to you,” Jin retorted. He turned to Taehyung and put on a calmer expression. “Jungkook will walk you back,” he said calmly, fixing Jungkook with his infamous look after. Jungkook huffed and stood up, walking past Taehyung and out of the door without even looking back. He hadn’t even put on his coat properly. Taehyung looked back at the two parents nervously as he walked away, unsure of what to do. They gave him encouraging smiles. “Text me about it okay,” Jin said, waving goodbye. He nodded back and sped up to try and catch up.
The walk back was painfully awkward and tense. Taehyung trailed a couple of paces behind him as if he was afraid to speak or even be near him. Jungkook could not keep his eyes off the bruises on the others' faces. They looked old and painful, from where he did not know. As they neared the dorm, Jungkook did even bother walking all the way to the door, instead, he stayed on the path, and as soon as Taehyung went past him he took off towards the other dorms. Taehyung hesitated behind him as he carried on walking. “Wait, Jungkook,” Taehyung called out, his voice desperate. The waver in his tone made him stop and turn around. He really was not in the mood to talk to the elder but a part of him was curious as to what the other possibly had to say. “What,” he said, even from a distance he could see how Taehyung relaxed slightly. “Just 2 minutes. You can hate me but please for 2 minutes. I will explain everything.” Jungkook sighed and took a couple of steps forward, leaving a sizable gap between them still. He eyed the faded bruise on his skin, confused as to how he got it. “Okay.” Taehyunng sighed before closing his eyes like he was preparing himself. “You do not have HIV or any disease at all. That I can guarantee you. It's because I don't have it. I never have had it, but my mum does.” Taehyung took a breath and blinked a couple of times looking down at the floor like he was struggling to carry on speaking. “My mother was addicted to drugs for a while, cocaine mostly. She did a lot of them but at some point during her addiction, she contracted it. That was the push that she needed to get clean.” Taehyung had to stifle a dry laugh at this. It was upsetting to talk about and something he hated to mention. He couldn’t remember a time when his mum wasn’t the most loving woman, but he could remember the time when he was starting school and the bills were adding up where her attitude changed and she became forgetful. There were so many empty promises and manic phases that he could never hold it against her because he knew she was hurting and still trying her best. Jungkook was startled at that, having no idea how to respond. He suddenly got the urge to hug the elder but he held back. Touching the elder felt invasive even though their levels of intimacy had been even more personal many times before. “She contracted HIV sometime when I was 10. The medicine I was picking up from the doctor was for her. She was staying for a couple of days in Seoul last year to see me and I offered to go get the medicine for her. Taeil saw me. I never got the chance to explain it to him. I have never had it, and I can’t get it from her, it’s not contagious.” The younger was taken aback by the explanation. It took a second for him to process the words, Taehyung spoke so quickly, like he had been keeping it in all this time. The explanation was so simple. The elder had to break the awkward tension. “I’m sorry,” Taehyung’s puppy eyes came as he looked remorsefully at the floor. Jungkook felt horrible. Not only did he punch the eldest but he didn’t even let him explain at the start. All the stress he had been feeling would have disappeared if he had just spoken to Taehyung instead of leaving the dorm so quickly a month ago. Taehyung had been nothing but kind, sweet, and caring the whole time they knew each other. Every worry he had the elder had was so understanding, giving him reassurance and always making sure he was okay even if it should've been the other way round. Even now he was blaming himself for something that was entirely Jungkook's fault. Taehyung had even said that they should put on a condom but he was the one who refused. Before Jungkook could say anything to Taehyung the elder bowed quickly, wiping the stray tear from his face, and ran into the dorms with a tearful apology. Jungkook wanted to follow him, wipe his tears and tell him it was okay.
