It all started with a dating app.Well, technically it didn't just start with that.It started with Yoongi breaking up with Seokjin after dating four two years. To some, that wouldn't be considered a long time, and to others that would be considered a huge accomplishment. To Yoongi, it was neither of those.Of course he was heartbroken when he and Seokjin broke up, but they both agreed it wasn't working out between them. They didn't argue, they weren't violent with each other, to an outsider it would have been considered a perfect relationship. But sometimes, nothing is as they appear. Their hearts grew distant of one another soon after their first year of dating.Yoongi was focused on graduating college, and Seokjin was focused on finding a job in acting. Their hearts were in different places, they wanted different things. At this point, it was just routine to stay together, but they knew they couldn't do that.To put it lightly, Taehyung was probably more devastated about it than Yoongi was when he heard the news."True love is dead, hyung, you killed it in cold blood," he said, stretching across Yoongi's bed and hitting his arms lightly against the mattress. "You and Seokjin-hyung killed it.He rolled his eyes at Taehyung's antics, so used to them after having basically grown up with the male. "True love doesn't exist for one, and for two, if it did, hyung and I just weren't comparable." He wanted to believe they were at one point, but the reality of it now was that they just weren't, and that was okay. They left the relationship on good terms, so they were still close friends and spoke often.Taehyung let out a groan as he rolled over, shoving his face into a pillow. There was silence for a few moments, causing Yoongi to get lost in his thoughts, staring at the screen before him, not focusing on what it was showing."Hey," Taehyung said, his voice serious and worried sounding, which caused Yoongi to turn to him this time in his chair. "Are you going to be alright?"He couldn't answer right away. Yoongi had to think about it for a moment. To be honest, he could be more heartbroken over it, but he wasn't. He would miss waking up next to someone, being able to hold someone close and share warmth. He would miss someone coming in and checking up on him when he was supposed to go to bed an hour ago, miss the warmth in his chest that it brought. But he'd be okay."Yeah, I'll be fine, I promise."Now, it was two years after that, and it really hadn't taken Yoongi long to get over Seokjin since he never lost him. He lost the feelings, not the person, and that was alright with him. Seokjin was succeeding with his acting career after suffering and struggling so much, and Yoongi was so happy for him. He really was. And Yoongi himself was doing well also, he was producing music for a small company that had just started a kpop group, and while it wasn't getting him a ton of money, he was happy doing something he loved with a passion.Sadly, this is also where the dating app started to come into play.Yoongi is a very busy man, which doesn't leave much room for going out, which is fine by him, he's never been a very active person. Some people in his life, though, are very much active. He could have sworn he locked the door to his apartment, he would never forget something as important as that, but suddenly there's hands on his shoulders, startling him so much that he lets out a strangled noise and jump in his seat.Removing the noise canceling headphones, he was now able to hear the loud laughter going on right behind him. He quickly turned around in his chair to see Taehyung on the ground, arms wrapped around his abdomen and looking like he was crying from how much he was laughing."You fucker," Yoongi said, his face red in embarrassment as he rolled over to Taehyung and started lightly kicking the younger male, "you gave me a fucking heart attack, what the hell!"Taehyung tried to speak, but no words were able to escape his mouth, just the sounds of him laughing. Yoongi hopes he hurts himself by pulling a muscle or something. It took a while for him to finally calm down, and when he did he just remained seated on the floor, crossing his legs and smiling up at Yoongi."Really, that's your fault for not locking the door," he hummed, trying to pull off an innocent face."You fucking acting majors, you think you can get away with anything."He shrugged. "Seokjin-hyung taught me.""That fucker.""I'm telling on you. Anyways, hyung and I wanna go out for dinner and drinks, and you're coming along."Yoongi let out a scoff, rolling his eyes as he sat back in his chair. "I'm pretty sure I get a say in this.""Nope," Taehyung said as he shook his head, "hyung said you're coming, either willingly, or he'll carry you. Easy way or hard way, your choice."He knew they meant well, but Yoongi turned and looked at the computer screen before letting out a sigh. "I don't know, Tae, I have a lot to do for this rookie group..."And really, he was an idiot for thinking that just maybe Taehyung would understand, because the next thing he knew, he was being thrown over Taehyung's shoulder, who let out a small grunt as he did so. "Nope, sorry hyung, you don't get a choice in this.""Wait, Tae-- Wait hold on! I need to save! Come on! Put me down!!!"(Thankfully, Taehyung did, and he was able to rush back to his computer to save his progress and shut it down properly.)Apparently, "dinner and drinks" also mean "get out of your hoodie and sweatpants and look like you're an actual functioning human of society". Which Yoongi totally was. He paid taxes, that was the most functional a human had to be in society. Anything else was just a bother.Taehyung also deemed him incompetent of picking out his own outfit, so for thirty minutes Yoongi basically played dress up with the younger male, changing outfits until Taehyung was content with an outfit."Not all of us wear Gucci," Yoongi grunted, adjusting his shirt that he didn't even know that he owned."True, but I refuse to be seen in public with you looking so.... Well, you," Taehyung said, gesturing to Yoongi as he did so.Yoongi frowned, raising his eyebrows. "Really? Cause I remember you having some questionable fashion senses when we were growing up."Taehyung let out a noise as he fixed Yoongi's hair for him, which only got his hands slapped away from the older male. "That was a phase, and I regret being so tasteless. I won't let you suffer through the same thing, hyung, I swear.""I really don't need you doing that..." Yoongi made sure he had everything on him, which just consisted of his wallet, phone and house keys before grabbing a jacket ("Put that back!" "Tae, it's cold as hell out, I'm putting on a jacket." "Hell isn't cold, hyung, it's hot, like this ass.")He followed Taehyung through the busy life that was Seoul, listening to the younger male talk on and on about whatever was on his mind. It's funny, Yoongi can remember a time where him and Taehyung hardly walked around. When they first got to Seoul so many years ago, the business of it all had terrified them. Daegu was no where near this large nor this busy, so they always opted to stay close to their college. What finally caused them to become brave and face the unfamiliar place was meeting Seokjin. Yoongi met Seokjin when they were partnered up in one of their classes. He was alone at the time, since Taehyung still had high school to go through, but it caused the two to get to know each other and become good friends. When Taehyung finally graduated and arrived at the college, Yoongi instantly introduced the two, and the three hit it off pretty well. Seokjin was able to act childish and have fun, despite being older than them, but he was also able to be serious and offered a shoulder to lean on when they needed it.Seokjin had found it near blasphemous that Taehyung and Yoongi had never been to what Seokjin called the greatest place ever, and demanded that the three of them go there. Really, if it wasn't for Seokjin, Yoongi has no idea where he would currently be. Probably still cut off from the world more than he is now. That place that Seokjin called to be the greatest place ever was now their frequent hang out spot, and where they were currently going now. It wasn't actually the greatest place ever, but the food was good and the alcohol was okay. "It's the feeling," Seokjin had told them, and Yoongi agreed. It had a very comforting feeling now that it was one that centered around a lot of memories, good and bad.No matter what, Taehyung always had to make an entrance, so when they finally arrive, he forcefully pushed open the doors before shouting, "The amazing Taehyung has arrived!"Yoongi felt his face heat up in embarrassment, even though he should be used to it by now. Everyone in the place surely was, since they paid him no mind, except for the few new people that turned up and were experiencing it for the first time."Yoongichi! Tae!" Their attentions were drawn to a familiar voice shouting their names. Seokjin waved to them happily from where he sat, in a booth by the window, and they quickly hurried over. "Good to know you got him out of his lair," Seokjin said as they sat down, placing his head in between his propped up hands.Taehyung gave a triumphant smile and sat straighter. "I told him exactly what you said!""Good job, Tae," Seokjin said, giving a thumbs up, which Taehyung returned. Yoongi let out a sigh as he leaned back, pouting a little. He was a grown man, he could make his own choices and what not. However, he did feel a bit happy that they wanted to include him. He'd be lying if he said that he didn't miss them, even if they did text every day.Conversation was quick to pick up between them, mostly from Taehyung and Seokjin, and it came easily. They ordered their drinks, and enjoyed each others company.Seokjin looked at his phone after a while, and made a happy noise. "Sorry, I hope you guys don't mind that I invited a friend to come and meet you guys."Taehyung and Yoongi exchanged a quick look. They weren't opposed to it, but it wasn't like Seokjin to invite someone like this to their usual hang outs. "Who?" Taehyung asked, knowing Yoongi was just as curious."He's someone I met on set, he's not an actor but they needed his skills for a shoot. His name is Jung Hoseok."Yoongi was instantly able to catch the light blush that came across Seokjin's face, and the look in his eyes. He's been on the receiving end of that expression before, and knew exactly what it meant."Why haven't you introduced us before?" Taehyung asked, looking a bit excited now. Yoongi felt worry build up in his chest for Taehyung, but it seemed like he didn't notice the change. If he did, he ignored it for Seokjin's sake, and the thought made Yoongi cringe inwardly. He'll have to ask about it later."Because we've all been busy until now, he just got out of work," Seokjin explained as he put his phone away after sending out a message, looking much happier than he had just a few moments ago. When did Seokjin start falling for someone else? It wasn't that Yoongi was jealous, he honestly wasn't, he was more of just curious more than anything. Seokjin didn't keep secrets from Yoongi or Taehyung, so this was a little odd finding this out now. Then again, Yoongi trusted his hyung deeply. He knew that Seokjin will tell them when he's ready, and he hoped that their hyung will be gentle and kind to Taehyung's heart.Yoongi had sat there deep in thought for so long that the next thing he knew, a stranger was now sitting at their table with a wide, heart shaped smile. "Hello!" the stranger said cheerfully, "I'm Hoseok! Sorry if I'm being a burden.""Not at all!" Taehyung said, giving off his signature boxy smile. "I'm Taehyung, and this is Yoongi." He gave a small wave in greeting after Taehyung introduced him. "Nice to meet you! Hyung talks a lot about the both of you, so I'm so happy to finally meet you guys."Taehyung almost choked on his drink, having taken a sip as Hoseok spoke. He coughed before speaking. "Hyung-Hyung talks about me?" he said, his eyes looking frantically back and forth between the two. Yoongi watched as a blush formed on his face, and couldn't hold back the snort that went unnoticed to all except Taehyung, who kicked his shin under the table."You're fucking dead, kid," Yoongi hissed under his breath from the pain, recieving odd stares from Hoseok and Seokjin. "Ah, yeah," Hoseok continued, seeming a bit confused for a moment, "hyung told me about how him and Yoongi used to date, and that you two are childhood friends."The younger male seemed to deflate a bit at the information, clearly bummed out that there wasn't much to it other than stating the obvious, but his energy quickly picked back up, and soon he started asking Hoseok a ton of questions.Hoseok majored in dance, and he's recently graduated. He's having difficulties getting a job in his majored field, so he's getting by with doing odd jobs and working at a restaurant as a waiter. One of the odd jobs he did was as an extra for the shoot that Seokjin mentioned where they needed a dancing instructor when the one they originally had suddenly got injured. Since then, he has been having more luck with dance.Yoongi told him about how he was working for a company, and if they needed a new instructor for dance that he'd call Hoseok immediately, which resulted in them exchanging numbers. Of course, Taehyung got jealous that he didn't have Hoseok's number, and that's how they exchanged numbers as well.It wasn't hard for him to see just why Seokjin would be attracted to Hoseok. He smiled and laughed often, much like Taehyung, and he wasn't above making a bit of a fool of himself. He really wants to get to know Hoseok better, because he honestly seems like a good person. He didn't believe that his hyung couldn't look out for himself, but Yoongi loves Seokjin and will punch anyone that breaks his heart.Of course, he'd do the same for Taehyung, but that's a bit harder to punch someone when that other someone is your friend. This was complicated.Yoongi was too lost in thought that he didn't hear his name being called until there was a yank on his arm, almost causing him to fall over where he was seated. He glared up at Taehyung, who was standing next to the other two and smiling widely. "Come on, hyung! We wanna go clubbing!"He grimaced. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy it, but... Yeah, he didn't enjoy it. There was too many people, too much noise and too much alcohol. People always tried pressing themselves into him, and he didn't like it. It was always too hot and sweaty, and by the end of the night he had a migraine that carried into the next day."I don't know, it's getting pretty late...""Nope! I told you already, Seokjin-hyung said you have no say in it!" Taehyung shouted, not letting go of Yoongi's arm and pulled once more, which did sucessfully got the older out of his chair this time, though he almost fell flat on his face. Seokjin let out a snicker. "Yeah Yoongichi, you're coming with us whether you like it or not. Who knows, you might actually find someone there to hook up with," he said, giving the other male a wink.He was literally dragged out by Taehyung, who wouldn't let him go for anything. He was basically trapped now, and he really did have work to do.The night air wasn't as cold as he expected it to be, but it was just enough that it caused a shiver down his spine once they left the warmth of the restaurant. Yoongi frowned. "I don't need you looking after me, hyung. And you really don't need to be interested in my love life.""I know for a fact that you haven't tried getting with anyone in at least a year," Seokjin scoffed. "You stay inside your studio or your apartment for days on end. You need to find someone, it'll be good for you.""You know, Seokjin-hyung might be right," Hoseok added in, giving a small smile in embarrassment."Hoseok, we literally just met.""That's how badly you need it," Taehyung said, wrapping himself around Yoongi's arm, knowing that the elder wouldn't shake him off. He was too soft for that. "You wreak of desperation.""I'm not desperate! I happen to like spending all my time making music," he tried to defend himself, feeling his ears start to heat up. He really didn't understand why they were so hellbent on getting him with someone all of a sudden. He just wasn't interested in dating, there was nothing against that. A lot of people these days weren't, or didn't start dating until they were older. It was perfectly normal, especially since humans are starting to live longer, some well into their 100's.But, obviously, Seokjin wasn't happy about that, nor was Taehyung. At least he wasn't pinning after one of his best friends.Well... Not anymore...There was no arguing against these two, once they started something, they were hellbent on seeing it through till the end. Yoongi gave a pleading look to Hoseok, hoping that the other would say something to Seokjin and make him back down, since Seokjin was so obviously whipped for this one now, but all Hoseok did was give a shrug and laugh silently. He truly had no allies.Just as he predicted, the club was loud and too hot and instantly he started sweating in his jacket. This wasn't a club that Yoongi recognized, but to him they all seemed to be exactly the same. He couldn't hear anything over the near deafening noise of the music that was playing so loud he felt it in his chest and in his lungs. Taehyung said something to Seokjin, and instantly the elder and Hoseok were agreeing, and before he knew it, he was being dragged somewhere else by Taehyung. They reached a bar in the corner, somewhat away from the music, so it made hearing just a bit easier. Yoongi was already slightly buzzed from the alcohol that he had in the restaurant, so he didn't want any more, but Seokjin was forcing a shot into his hand and he had no idea what it was, but they were all smiling and laughing and having a good time, and he thought "why the hell not?" It burned on its way down his throat, causing him to wince a little at the pain and at the foul taste.Shot after shot was handed to him until he finally decided to turn them down once he figured he had enough to make them happy. The world was no longer straight, just a little crooked, not yet completely drunk due to the food that was in his stomach, but he knew if he had any more then that line would become blurred, and he really really didn't want to wake up with a killer hangover. The good part about the alcohol was that it made him numb, so he agreed to just about anything the other three asked of him, which included being dragged out to the dance floor by Taehyung. Yoongi was in no way a dancer, but drunk Yoongi didn't give a fuck right now and put up with it.Time was blurred, and Yoongi had no idea how long they had been in the club for, but sweat was sticking to him and it felt odd the the feeling of bodies all around him was making him feel suffocated, so he excused himself from the others and went back to the bar, sitting down and getting a glass of water. It was helping him to clear his head a little by little.Yoongi really didn't like drinking. Some people became happy when drunk, or tired, but sometimes he would start feeling things he kept under lock and key, like how lonely he really did feel. He drowned himself with work in order to hide it, and even though he knew he had Seokjin and Taehyung to rely on, it still didn't make the loneliness go away.Maybe they were right. Maybe he should try to get into a relationship again."Hyyyyung," Yoongi looked up and tried to find the familiar voice, but a pair of arms wrapped themselves around his shoulders, making his job easier. "Hyung, it's not fair," Taehyung whined. He was always a whiny drunk after the first wave of hyperness went away.Yoongi hummed, taking a sip of the cold water. "What's not fair, Tae?" He knew what the boy was talking about."What's Hoseok-hyung got that I don't?" he sniffed. "I've been in love with Jinnie-hyung for sooooo long now, it's not faaaiir."Taehyung's words were slurred and a little hard to understand, but Yoongi always knew what he was talking about. He gave a comforting pat to the arms still around him. "Just confess to him, you never know what will happen."The younger let out a whine, letting go of Yoongi in order to sit down and drape himself over the table of the bar. "Noooo, I can't do thaaaaat. What if he doesn't-doesn't like meeeeee?" His voice hiccuped a bit, and Yoongi could tell he was on the verge of tears. "Especially since he likes Hoseok-hyung now!""You might regret it if you don't," he said as he looked out to the dance floor, searching for Seokjin and Hoseok until he finally found them. Seokjin, to be honest, was a terrible dancer, but Yoongi could only say that cause he was just as terrible. Hoseok, on the other hand, even while drunk he was amazing at dancing, and Yoongi found himself wanting to see what he looked like on stage, completely sober and in control. It was probably breath-taking.He couldn't watch for very long though because suddenly Taehyung was crying loudly next to him, drawing the attention of anyone who walked by and the bartender giving him on odd yet concerned look. Yoongi put his cup down quickly before putting a hand on Taehyung's back, his mind panicking on how to get him to calm down. He wasn't very sober, and he wasn't sure if sober Yoongi would do a better job at this than drunk Yoongi."Will coming to my place and watching a movie or something make you feel better?" he asked, doing everything he could to get him to just stop loudly sobbing.Luckily, this worked, and Taehyung's sobbing quieted down to rough sniffles and hiccups as he nodded his head. Yoongi gave a sigh in relief before turning to the bartender after seeing the bar was pretty empty thanks to Taehyung. "Can you watch my friend really fast? I'll be right back I swear."The bartender, bless his soul, gave a nod to Yoongi, and the male wasted no time in getting up and weaving through the crowd to find Seokjin and Hoseok. Luck really was on his side right now, because they hadn't moved from where he last saw them. As loudly as he could, he told them he was bringing Taehyung home, and the two wished them well and a safe return home, and that they'll text each other later.Taking a crying and sniffling Taehyung home wasn't new. This happened often after the male had developed his crush on Seokjin, at first no where near this bad other than whining, but as his crush grew into something more it started to get worse. Yoongi felt bad for the younger male, but there was nothing he could do to help him out. Yoongi ignored the odd looks they got, stumbling on the sidewalk a bit from Yoongi having to support Taehyung, which was a very obvious issue due to their very obvious height difference, as well as neither of them being very sober.Taehyung had calmed down just enough by the time they arrived at Yoongi's apartment and seemed much more worn out than he had inside the club. Yoongi changed out of his clothes after giving Taehyung something to change into, since the younger actually kept some of his clothes in Yoongi's apartment. Seokjin had questioned before why those two didn't just live together, and that probably would make things better, but Yoongi was a private man and enjoyed his privacy as well as time lone. Taehyung jumped back and forth between Yoongi's and Seokjin's apartments.Yoongi left Taehyung to change and crawl into bed, while he went to get a glass of water and painkillers. He knew for a fact that Taehyung was going to wake up with a very bad hangover, so he brought them to the bedroom. He didn't own a side table, so he placed the items atop his dresser, at least that way it would be closer for Taehyung to get to than having to go to the kitchen."What're you doing on my phone?" Yoongi asked with a frown, once he looked over to his bed and realized that the phone Taehyung was staring at so intently wasn't his own."Signing you up for a dating app," he said, letting out a small sniffle. "This is how people get together these days, hyung. You'll find a partner, especially since I'm setting it up for you."He walked over to the bed and got in under the covers, instantly hit with warmth that was seeping off of Taehyung. That boy was basically a furnace, so he was nice to have around in the winter, even if Yoongi refused to admit it out loud. "I don't need to be on a stupid dating app, give me back my phone." Yoongi snatched it out of Taehyung's hands before he could roll away with it. The glare of the screen caused his head to pound, so he shut it off and decided that was a problem for sober Yoongi to handle in the morning."Jiminie is on that app, you're not allowed to date him though," Taehyung said while he dragged Yoongi closer, using the smaller male as his own personal teddy bear, since he always had trouble sleeping without hugging something or someone."Why would I date your friend?""Cause he's fucking adorable, and you know it."Well... Yoongi really couldn't argue against that, so he gave a grunt in response before drifting off to sleep, completely exhausted.-----------------------------------------------------Most people loved when it was sunny out. Kids would go out to play, friends would hang out and talk excitedly, couples would go on dates, and your chances of seeing at least one dog would greatly increase. For Yoongi, however, the sun was a curse and he couldn't wait until the burning orb in the sky exploded and brought the Earth with it.When he opened his eyes, the world was suddenly much too bright, even if the curtains to the windows were closed. The birds outside scream, not sing, they fucking scream and make his head pound a little. This was one of the downfalls of drinking and he absolutely hated it. In bed next to him, Taehyung had his arms wrapped around his waist tightly, meaning that Yoongi wasn't going to be getting up anytime soon. Even in his sleep he had a vise grip, something Yoongi learned after having basically grown up with the boy.So instead, he opted to check his phone that lay next to him on the bed. There were a few messages from Hoseok, telling him he was happy to meet him and that he hoped they'd talk often, which Yoongi just replied with a quick message before looking through a few messages he had from Seokjin, which was letting him know he got home okay, and then a text from this morning (how the hell did he wake up so early even after going out drinking? What the fuck), all of which wasn't strange. What was strange, was the weird and unknown app that sat on his home screen that was normally bare of anything, a red exclamation point over the icon.Yoongi wasn't one to use apps, in fact he hardly owned any except for one for his email and one game app that Taehyung got him addicted to. A moment of clarity overcame him when he finally remembered that Taehyung had said something about downloading a dating app for him and making a profile. He let out a small groan in annoyance. Great, now he not only had to delete the app, but he actually had to get on the goddamn thing in order to delete the profile first.Which was his original intent when he opened it up, but the amount of messages he had was a little surprising, and he'd be lying if he said he wasn't a little curious to see just who would message him. Before that, he wanted to see what kind of hell Taehyung put on the profile, since it could have attracted creeps if he put anything weird on there, and knowing him he probably did. He scrolled through the profile and saw that Taehyung had actually left most of it empty for him to fill out. Of course he filled out the basics for him like height, hair colour, eye colour, career, interests, as well as a profile picture that wasn't something completely embarrassing. Yoongi was about to forgive Taehyung, thinking that maybe he had been a bit too hard on him, when he saw the profile biography that only said "Looking for a cutie, hit me up ;)" and Yoongi lost all faith in him once again, his face reddening slightly in embarrassment. Then he finally went to the messages and saw that he had roughly 40 of them all in just one night, which made his eyes widen. Were people seriously that desperate? Most of the messages were insanely old men asking if he was looking for a sugar daddy (no, he wasn't, thank you), or people asking for nudes or a one night stand. He really wasn't about to do either of those, so those messages he just deleted. That left roughly about ten that were at least somewhat normal, which mainly just consisted of one worded messages that just said hi. One of them though caught his attention, and he opened it quickly. It was one that was sent just an hour ago.
ChimChimmy
Hiya hyung, nice to see you finally getting out into the dating world! Yoongi let out another small groan. Of course Jimin would find him instantly, and not his pride was buried six feet in the ground, Jimin was cute and all but he spread rumors quickly, so it was only a matter of time before others heard of this and he was done forThere was one more message that caught his eye because this one seemed like he was the only person that actually read through his bio.
JeonCena
You make music? I have a friend in the music industry who also lives in Seoul. Where can I listen to the stuff you produce? This one was sent around the same time he got Jimin's message, and he couldn't help but feel curious, so he clicked on the profile. The picture showed a brown hair male with large eyes and a smile that showed off his front teeth. The image instantly got Yoongi thinking of a rabbit. He read through the profile and saw that he was only 20 and was currently enrolled in college in Busan, which Yoongi recognized as being the same one Jimin had been enrolled in. There was a chance that this boy knew Jimin, and Yoongi wasn't sure how he felt about that. Was this a trick, or did Jimin tell this boy to message him? As much as he loved Jimin and Taehyung, they also were little shits and couldn't be trusted most of the time.Yoongi debated for a long time about if he should message back, and after ten minutes he decided, well, why the hell not? If he was going to college in Busan, there was no way he'd ever meet him if things went south.
MinSuga
I produce music for a rookie group, you might not have heard of them yet, they're still pretty new... I have a SoundCloud though where I keep unused scraps... He wasn't expecting a reply so fast because as soon as he exited the app, it pinged with a message.
JeonCena
That's so cool!!! I'd love to hear your music, and let me know what rookie group too, I want to support you if your music is any good
MinSuga
If? My music IS any good, kid[link]Just listen and be amazed by the talented Min Suga He didn't think he'd be sending this many messages by now, so that was a little surprising, but it was nice to know this guy was actually interested in what he did and wasn't just looking for a quick fuck. There was always the chance that this could be a trick, or what he heard be called as a catfish, but at the moment he didn't care. Getting someone listening to his stuff was good enough for him."I knew you'd use it."Yoongi jumped at hearing the voice behind him, having forgotten that Taehyung was literally wrapped around him. "You little fucker," Yoongi cursed under his breath, hitting the younger male on the thigh as he turned to get a better aim at him. "Nearly gave me another fucking heart attack, do you want hyung to die at a young age?"Taehyung laughed, sounding slow and sleepy as he pulled Yoongi tighter against him, burying his face in the back of his neck. "No, especially not now, since you're clearly interested in someone.""I literally just started talking to this kid, and will you stop looking at my phone over my shoulder? It's fucking rude, didn't your parents teach you any manners?""You grew up with me hyung, you should know the answer to that already. My head hurts."Yoongi let out a scoff, setting his phone down on the bed in order to keep Taehyung from creeping over his shoulder any longer. He'd just have to reply later. "No duh, you drank a lot last night, there's water and painkillers on the dresser over there."Taehyung let out a hum, breathing warm air into the back of Yoongi's neck. "Get it for me, please.""You're the idiot that drank too much, you get it.""Please?""..... Fine."Min Yoongi was not soft, he was a badass and had a heart made of stone, despite him actually getting up and bringing the water and painkiller over to the boy in his bed. While he was up, he decided that he should make coffee, since that also helped with hangovers, so he left Taehyung in the bed as he shuffled his way into the kitchen. His coffeemaker was shitty and cheap, so it took a good twenty minutes just for a pot of coffee, which made it so Yoongi had nothing better to do for those twenty minutes.Without really thinking about it, he took out his phone and opened up the dating app, seeing that he had a message.
JeonCena
Wow, I haven't even listened to all of them, and this is amazing! Can I use one of these pieces for class?I can pay you if you'd like That was... He'd never gotten asked before if someone could use his music, much less pay him for it. Normally it was people stealing his music off of his SoundCloud without his permission, so this caused a small bubble of warmth to fill his chest.
MinSuga
You don't need to pay me, go ahead...What do you need it for anyways? In class?
JeonCena
Oh, I major in film and photography in collegeBut I minor in danceI need to find a piece of music and create choreo to it as a test gradeAlso, thank you!!! You're really saving me here, I've been looking for weeks without finding anything Yoongi couldn't help but to feel a little happy that he was able to help someone out with something, even if it was a stranger at the moment. He wasn't one to outright show his concern over others, but that didn't mean he didn't like to help others. And he really did like that this kid took his time to read what he liked, because after that they started talking about coffee when Yoongi had mentioned that his piece of shit coffee maker was taking forever.Taehyung shuffled out into the small kitchen, placing the empty glass in the sink. "I'm never gonna drink again," he groaned, using the counter as support to hold himself up."You say that literally every time you get a hangover," Yoongi said, not looking up from his phone screen."I swear, one of these days I actually will. So who ya talking to?"He really didn't want to tell Taehyung anything about his conversation because it was none of his business, but Yoongi knew better than that. If he didn't answer, then Taehyung will just whine about it until he finally stole his phone and read everything himself. "Some kid from Busan. He's going to the same college Jimin went to, do you think they know each other?"The younger male leaned over to look at the screen when he asked for a picture, and Yoongi went to the profile and clicked on the image. Taehyung gave a thoughtful hum, staring at it for a few seconds with a frown, before a look of realization overcame him. "Oh yeah! I've seen him in some of Jiminie's pictures! I think they're roommates or something, I'm surprised he messaged you, Jimin said something about him being painfully shy."Well that was a little odd then. Yoongi wouldn't expect someone who was called "painfully shy" to message someone first, so that only caused his curiosity over the boy to grow. He went and scrolled through the boys profile once again, ignoring whatever the hell it was Taehyung was talking about this time (apparently it was something about how pickle juice was good for hangovers and "Hey hyung why don't you have any pickles?" Yoongi had no idea where we was getting that information from, but Taehyung wasn't an idiot, he'll have to try that out sometime...)."Shouldn't you get back home?" Yoongi asked after a bit. He watched as Taehyung shrugged and gave a wide smile, causing a scoff to come out of the older man as he reached and grabbed two mugs, handing one to Taehyung after pouring coffee into both.Silence filled between them as they sipped at the coffee, which helped to slowly edge away the effects of the hangover. "You know," Taehyung said after pulling a face at just how bitter the coffee was, "I can talk to Jimin about your new friend there.Yoongi frowned. "Why?"The younger shrugged. "To make sure it's not a catfish or something like that. He can ask if he actually made the account, stuff like that."It wasn't like Yoongi didn't talk to Jimin. In fact, they texted pretty often, and would sometimes Skype call if Taehyung was with him. However, Taehyung and Jimin had known each other for quite a few years now, and Seokjin would always joke about how those two are actually soulmates. Taehyung would deny it every time, claiming they were platonic soulmates and nothing more. Yoongi thought for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, thanks," he said, feeling like a weight was lifted off his shoulders. At least then he'll find out if he is actually talking to this kid or if it's just a creep."No problem, hyung," Taehyung said with a smile as he lifted the mug up in a cheers sort of way.All Yoongi planned to do for the day was let his hangover pass by locking himself in his house after kicking Taehyung out and do nothing but work. He needed to work on some songs, and with being forced to go to a club last night instead of working like he wanted to, he decided he had enough human interaction for a week or two. However, his friends were so damn persistent, because before he had the chance to kick Taehyung out and set his plan into motion, he got a text from Seokjin.
childish hyung
Yoongichi~You're going to lunch with meHyung says so~ Yoongi let out a heavy sigh. With Taehyung he could easily tell him no, but with Seokjin there was no room for argument since Seokjin was older. At least he did get to kick Taehyung out of his house, because he didn't trust him to be at his apartment alone. Last time he did that, he found his house in complete shambles, some of which still existed because Yoongi was just lazy to return order to whatever chaos he created.Seokjin at least offered to pay, so after changing his clothes into a hoodie and dark jeans, he quickly went to meet up with Seokjin at a small cafe that was the half way point between their homes. It wasn't hard to pick Seokjin out from a crowd. Yoongi might not be in love with him anymore, but there was absolutely no denying that he was handsome, with a capital H. Seokjin even said countless times he was worldwide handsome, and no one doubted that one bit. However, none of them would ever say that out loud, the older man was narcissistic enough."Did you and Tae get home okay last night?" Seokjin asked once they greeted each other, "You never actually texted me like you said you would, but I figured since I didn't get a call from the hospital that you two were fine."He let out a small huff, using one of his hands to prop his head up. "Obviously. I basically had to carry his ass though, and he wouldn't stop crying."Seokjin let out a laugh, not his full on windshield wiper laugh but a laugh all the same, using his hand to cover some of his mouth. "What does he even cry about? He always does that when drunk, I don't remember it being this bad though!" He said once he calmed down enough to talk, a smile still on his face. Now here is where Yoongi could either be an ass, or keep quiet. Being an ass would mean telling Seokjin the truth, about how Taehyung was hopelessly pining after him since Yoongi and Seokjin broke up and the reason for his insanely loud crying last night was because he was jealous of Hoseok, or he could keep quiet and let Taehyung handle it, if he ever will.Yoongi, being the good friend that he is and promised to not tell, just shrugged and said, "I don't know, something about dogs and how he hadn't seen one all day."The older male nodded, completely believing him, because it wouldn't have been the first time Taehyung had cried over dogs.A waitress came over and took their orders, red faced and stuttering after getting a good look at Seokjin's face just like most people did. There was a time where Yoongi was like that too, but after knowing him for so many years he was probably one of the very few people immune to it now. His charms no longer worked on Yoongi, much to Seokjin's dismayEvery time Yoongi's phone would go off during their conversation he would check it, and every time it was the dating app. He didn't even realize he had been doing it until Seokjin sighed after some time and gave a curious look. "I've never seen you on your phone this much, who're you talking to?""Someone," was all he said with a shrug, as if it wasn't a big deal. And it wasn't. They were just talking about music, his music, and the kids studies.Seokjin looked at him with an expression that read he wasn't buying Yoongi's bullshit. "You don't ever reply to anyone."Yoongi rolled his eyes, setting his phone down. "I reply to you and Tae.""You once left me on read for three days before answering! I know for a fact you once didn't answer Tae for so long he literally went to your house to see if you died!" Seokjin said in an accusing tone, doing that thing where he spoke quicker and would shake his head. There was a time Yoongi found it endearing, but right now he was worried Seokjin was just going to give himself whiplash. The younger just stared for a moment, blinking slowly, before he finally shook his head. "I don't buy it.""You literally!!" It was funny sometimes to rile Seokjin up, and he couldn't help the smile that broke out on his face. He was too distracted by Seokjin because the next thing he knew his phone was snatched off the table and Seokjin used his long arms to his advantage, keeping it out of Yoongi's reach. They were in the middle of a cafe, men well into their twenties, yelling and arguing at each other over a phone like little kids. It was no surprise that they were getting strange looks from workers and other customers, but they didn't care. They hardly ever did."Ooooo, a dating app? Yoongichi, I didn't expect this from you!""Tae downloaded the fucking thing, now give it back!""JeonCena? Who the hell uses that as a username? Also why are you MinSuga? You kids have absolutely no imagination!""I swear to god I will break every Mario figure and merchandise you own! Give me back my fucking phone!""Now Yoongichi we both know you won't do that-- Holy shit! This kid is so adorable! He looks just like a bunny! Also I didn't know you liked younger men, you two seem to be having a very boring conversation, why aren't you flirting with him? Do you need my help? Don't worry, hyung is here!""You fucker!!!""Umm..."The two stopped, with Yoongi basically on top of the table, to look at the waitress who was holding their food and looking unnerved. Taking his chance, Yoongi quickly swiped back his phone from Seokjin and sat back down in his chair, his face dusted a light pink from embarrassment. Seokjin thanked the girl before she left as if nothing had happened.A silence filled in between them, Yoongi refusing to look at Seokjin and keeping his phone safely hidden in his pocket. Seokjin just gave him a smile. "You can always come to hyung if you need help on flirting, free of charge.""I'm gonna suffocate you in your sleep, hyung."--------------------------------------------

Jungkook
What're you doing hyung?Nothing interesting...
Jungkook
So?Tell me?Just working on a new song...Actually, I'm taking a break
Jungkook
Breaks are importantJimin makes me take breaks oftenIsn't Jimin older than you?
Jungkook
YesAren't you supposed to call him hyung?
Jungkook
Yes...... I'll keep it a secret Yoongi found out that yes, JeonCena was real, and he was friends with Jimin. They did live together, and he was going to graduate college next year. It was a huge relief to find out that the person he was talking to wasn't some creep or a prank. At first they had kept texting to only the dating app, but after a week of having that cursed app on his phone and getting notifications from people multiple times a day, he decided that he needed to delete it. It was a huge bother to him. However, there was no denying that he had gotten at least a little close to the person he had been calling JeonCena (the username was apparently something Jimin set up because he also forced Jungkook to sign up for the app a while ago. Taehyung and Jimin thought too much alike to not be soulmates), so he offered the idea of exchanging phone numbers to text each other. That was how he learned Jungkook's name, and Yoongi gave him his, since that's something you don't have to share on the app. Also, one of the things the app didn't do was save messages. Now Yoongi could keep all of their messages together without worrying about them being suddenly erased. He had also made sure to delete his account on the app, something that didn't make Jimin very happy about cause the next minute after deleting it he was getting spammed left and right by not only Jimin but Taehyung too. Now, weeks later, he was laying in bed, his phone the only light in the otherwise dark apartment. He didn't bother to turn on any other lights since all he had been doing since then was on the computer, too lost in his work to care. His phone lit up with each text he got from Jungkook. Why're you still up anyways? It's lateDon't you have class in the morning?
Jungkook
I can't sleepWhy?
Jungkook
Just thinking...Tell hyung about it Yoongi didn't get a response for a few minutes, and he wondered if he said something wrong. By now, he knew about how private of a person Jungkook was, as well as how shy he was. Jimin was even surprised by how much the younger boy was telling Yoongi, claiming that he hardly ever told anyone anything about himself. He was learning stuff that Jimin didn't learn for years. He tried not to think about it too much.
Jungkook
Can I call you...? Yoongi felt like he couldn't breathe properly when he read the text. Really, it was a simple thing. Yoongi spoke on the phone with his friends occasionally, has done so with Jimin a few times, whenever Taehyung was demanding attention but was too lazy to text, and Seokjin would call him often when they were dating. It wasn't that big of a deal, yet it felt like it was.He obviously spent too much time frozen, because next thing he knew he was getting another message from Jungkook.
Jungkook
Sorry hyungDidn't mean toI dunnoMake you uncomfortbale??*uncomfortableNever mindDon't worry about it Before he could get any other messages, Yoongi scrambled to sit up on his bed (no he didn't almost fall off the edge thank you very much), and quickly pressed the call button on the boys contact before he had time to stop and think. The phone rung in his ear a few times, once again he was holding his breath. Should he not have called? Did Jungkook really change his mind? He reacted too quickly, should he have texted him ba--"Hyung?"It was a voice Yoongi had never heard before, but it sounded like something similar to music, even though it was just one word that sounded a bit hesitant and unsure. Finally, Yoongi was able to breathe. "Yeah, hey, sorry, I uh... You said you wanted to call, are you still up for it?" He was unsure himself, very much clearly laced in his own voice. He wanted to distract himself, needed to, because even though he could breathe a weight was sitting on his chest, making him feel tense, so he twisted a loose thread from his blanket through his fingers."Oh, yeah," Jungkook said, sounding a bit more sure, his voice raising a bit. "You just didn't text me back for a while, I was- I thought that maybe I pushed your boundaries? I mean, most people don't talk on the phone these days, and I wasn't sure how you'd feel about it."It was pretty obvious that the boy was nervously rambling, and Yoongi couldn't help the fond smile that slowly made its way across his face. To be honest, anyone else would have annoyed him by rambling, but all he could do was think it as adorable. "Jungkook-ah, it's okay, don't worry about it."There was an audible sigh of relief that came from Jungkook, and it was cute. Of course, Yoongi felt bad that he made Jungkook worry like this, but it was the first time he had ever experienced this, so it was hard to think it wasn't pretty cute, that the boy was cute.Oh god, he's going soft."What's Jimin up to? Is he still awake?" Yoongi asked after a few moments of silence. He wasn't the best person to talk to, normally in a conversation he'd just listen to others talk and be content with it, but Jungkook seemed to still be rather shy so he didn't mind trying to lead the conversation a little.Jungkook didn't answer right away, probably due to thinking about the last time he saw his roommate. "Jimin is asleep I think."Yoongi lied back down on his bed, the words registering in his mind making him a bit confused. "Really? I don't think I've ever heard of that kid going to sleep early.""He has to get up early for work tomorrow," Jungkook explained after letting out a light laugh that totally didn't make Yoongi smile, nope, not at all. "Do you have a roommate hyung? I don't think I've ever heard you mention anything.""No, I live alone.""Oh, okay. I thought you'd live with Tae."Yoongi scoffed, "I'd never get any work done with that kid around. How do you know Tae though?""When Jimin found out I was talking to you, he gave me Tae's number. We talk every now and again."He let out a hum, before frowning in confusion. "Aren't you younger than them?""Yes.""Aren't you supposed to be calling them 'hyung' then?""Also yes."Yoongi couldn't help the small snort of laughter he tried to bite back, and he heard what sounded like a noise of amusement come from Jungkook. "At least I got permission from Tae, he said it would be too confusing for me to call him Taehyung-hyung," the boy explained, and Yoongi rolled his eyes. "That's only because the brat is used to talking to people older than him, he likes to be babied."They didn't talk for much longer because it got to the point that Jungkook was yawning frequently, and his replies were getting shorter and slower. So finally Yoongi told the boy to go to bed and Jungkook hardly put up a fight before saying goodnight, and the two hung up. Jungkook's voice kept playing in his head over and over, as if stuck on repeat, and all Yoongi wanted to do was hear it again.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

For the most part, Taehyung did a good job at keeping his feelings for Seokjin to himself.Take note of "for the most part", because Yoongi was the only one who had to deal with Taehyung's whining, and it seemed like he did that every chance he got. Yoongi truly does love Taehyung and doesn't want to see the boy sad and have to go through the deal of heartbreak, but after so long of this all Yoongi wanted to do was punch the boy in his face.He came over every chance he got, which seemed to be all the time (didn't he have a job??? Does that boy even work anymore or is he too focused on making his life the next Shakespeare tragedy?), and if he wasn't in Yoongi's apartment he was texting him about it. He never heard the end of it, and quite frankly he was sick of it.However, it didn't seem like Yoongi was the sole victim in this.

more or less "Hyuuuung," Tae whined from where he was sprawled out on the floor, his arms and legs spread out, "my heart is broken-""They're not even dating.""I'll never be happy again-""You say that all the time yet here we are.""They're gonna get married and have kids and get a dog and be happy forever!""You fucking acting majors are so fucking dramatic," Yoongi pinched the bridge of his nose. He knew for a damn fact Seokjin would do this same exact thing if he was heartbroken in any way. In fact, he has, when a dog he wanted to pet just ignored him ("Am I not handsome enough Yoongichi? I mean I know I'm already handsome but WHY DIDN'T HE LOVE ME????) "Why don't you just fucking confess to him already? There's literally nothing bad that could happen."Taehyung let out a high pitched whine, reminding Yoongi once again that the normally low pitched male had a very wide range, as he rolled around on the floor. "He could laugh at me! Or think I'm weird-" "We already think that-" "or he could get mad at me! Then our friendship is ruined!"Yoongi had enough. Obviously Taehyung wasn't going to stop anytime soon, so he stood up from his chair and walked over to Taehyung, sitting down and stopping the boy from rolling. "Sit up," he said, and Taehyung actually listened, though he wore a pout on his face and his shoulders slumped. "I dated Seokjin-hyung. We broke up, remember?""Yeah of course I remember what kind of question-""And did we stop being friends? Close friends?"Taehyung blinked for a moment, looking at Yoongi, before he finally let out a sigh. "No, you didn't. But you're different from me, hyung, it was easier for you two to go back to being friends.""Maybe so, but you two are similar, and I know that if he doesn't feel the same way then he'll still want you to stick around in his life, just like how I know you'll want him in yours either way, which is why I know you haven't confessed yet. But you need to stop torturing yourself, and me with your whining, and tell him how you feel. It'll be hard if he doesn't feel the same way, but I'm always here for you, I know you'll get through it."The younger male had remained silent as Yoongi spoke, and was silent still a few moments after. He finally moved, blinking, before looking down and nodding. "Yeah, you're right, hyung. I'm just... I'm just nervous!" he let out a half hearted laugh before looking back up, and Yoongi saw just how worried he was about this, just how nervous. "I've never... Ya know, felt this way before. With anyone."Yoongi nodded, knowing exactly what he meant. They're practically brothers, of course he knows, he watched Taehyung grow up and they've helped each other out through so much in each others lives. "I know, Tae, I know. But I'm here for you no matter what, you know that too. If you need me to help, you can ask me."Finally, Taehyung smiled. Not his full boxed one, but a small one that looked sincere but still worried. "I know, thank you hyung. I should-I should say something soon. If he doesn't feel the same but decided to go out with Hobi-hyung, I'll support him."Yoongi smiled before ruffling his hair and standing up, deciding that his butt was hurting too much now to remain seated on the floor. He was glad that Taehyung came to that conclusion, and he really, really hoped that it will all work out in the end. They were his best friends and he wanted nothing but happiness for the both of them. And for himself.

THANK GOD "Hey hyung, let's order dinner," Taehyung said from where he was still seated on the ground, looking at Yoongi with a hopeful expression.Yoongi didn't feel like fighting it, he had work to do but he knew Taehyung wasn't going to take no for an answer, so he just agreed right away, he could always just pull another all nighter. Taehyung let out a cheer as he quickly scrambled to his feet, almost resulting in him falling over and onto the floor once again. "What do you want, hyung? I can order it! Wanna get pizza? Hmmm, no, I'm not in the mood for pizza, how about- OH! Oh! Hyung hyung! Can I order chicken?! Please please please?!"There was little Yoongi could do, because even if he said no to chicken, Taehyung would eventually get chicken, which was fine by him. He listened to the younger male chat over the phone. It was amazing how he was able to make friends where ever he went, while Yoongi just ended up scaring people. With that in mind, why did Jungkook even message him to begin with? While Seokjin and Taehyung tell him he has a soft looking face, he's also been told his expression makes him seem like he's one step away from murder. The picture that Taehyung had set as his icon on the app wasn't a bad picture by far, but certainly wasn't one that gave off "this guy is friendly" vibes. So either Jungkook just didn't give a shit, or he wanted to tempt fate and see if someone would actually murder him.Yoongi tried not to think about that. That was fucking stupid what the hell brain just shut the fuck up you're not help--"Hyuuuung, chickens here!" Taehyung sing-songed. Yoongi frowned and shook his head to get rid of the thoughts. Thinking about Jungkook always made him space out so he didn't even realize time had passed.Being older and being a good hyung, Yoongi went and paid for the chicken while Taehyung opened the bags of food in the kitchen. The delivery boy gave Yoongi a rather scared expression because he didn't even realize he had been scowling as he handed over the money. The boy bowed and thanked him before hauling ass out of there. Maybe he should work on his facial expressions...He walked into the kitchen and saw Taehyung digging through the food, opening containers and setting them out on the counter. Normally, Yoongi ate sitting at his desk while working, so he hardly had any sort of furniture in his house that you could eat at, resulting in them taking it to his bedroom and eating on the floor next to his bed. His bedroom was really the only furnished room in his house. Maybe Seokjin was right, he should get more furniture.Taehyung ate happily, smiling as he shoved food into his mouth and hummed contently. It was silent between them as they ate, which wasn't all that odd, but Yoongi could tell from the way Taehyung was acting that he wanted to say something. He gave the boy time to think, waiting patiently."What do you think of Hobi-hyung?" Taehyung suddenly asked, holding his container of food in his lap, looking at Yoongi. He chewed as he thought of his answer, finally answering after swallowing. "I think he's a good guy. He's a lot like you, in the sense that he always finds a reason to smile, and is pretty optimistic too. We don't talk much, but from what I can tell I see nothing bad about him."Taehyung nodded as he bit his bottom lip, worrying it in between his teeth. "Yeah, you're right," he agreed, letting out a sigh. "I think... Him and Seokjin-hyung seem like a good fit.""You and hyung would be good for each other too.""I don't hate Hobi-hyung, I want him to be happy too..." Taehyung let out a huff, frowning heavily. "This is so complicated hyung, I hate it!"Yoongi couldn't help but let out a snort of laughter, nodding as he did. "Yeah, shit is difficult to deal with, which is why the sooner you get it done, the better.""I know, I know," Taehyung said stubbornly, shoving more chicken into his mouth. Just when Yoongi thought Taehyung wouldn't say anything more, suddenly he looks up and says, "How're you and Jungkook?"For some reason, the question causes him to almost choke on the food in his mouth, and he ended up coughing for a good minute."What?" Yoongi asked.Taehyung at least had the decency to hide his smile behind his hand and laugh silently, putting on a blank expression afterwards. "I said, how are you and Jungkookie doing? You guys getting along?""Uh, yeah? Why? And why do you care?" Yoongi asked, his face heating up, and he couldn't figure out why. Maybe it was just due to almost choking and dying."He talks about you a lot," Taehyung said as he wiggled his eyebrows."... Okay?"Yoongi didn't know why, but Taehyung huffs and gives him a look that makes him feel like he answered everything wrong. He didn't understand what Taehyung was talking about!"Jiminie says he gets really really happy when he texts you.""Good to know, I'm a fucking delight.""For crying out loud, hyung! Are you two dating yet or what?!"Wait, what the fuck? Dating? Why would he be dating Jungkook? They haven't known each other for very long. "It's a bit too early to start a relationship, why the fuck starts dating someone after knowing them for only three months?"Taehyung rolled his eyes, looking like he was one step away from slapping Yoongi. "Hyung, one night stands exist, love can happen at any time-""Wait what? Love? Tae, don't be fucking ridiculous-""You can't say you don't at least feel something for Jungkookie! I've seen the way you look when you talk to him, or talk about him! You're completely fucking smitten for him!""I'm not going to answer you.""Come ooooon hyuuuung!" Taehyung whined, throwing himself onto his back so that he was now laying down on the bedroom floor. "I'm sick of being caught up in my own relationship problems! You and Jungkookie could be really good for each other."Yoongi let out a scoff, but remained silent. He didn't want to talk about something like this. Unlike Taehyung, he wasn't open about his relationships, he didn't go around talking about them. There was a reason for that too, and Taehyung knew exactly why. Before meeting Seokjin, Yoongi did date during high school. It wasn't a lot of relationships, but Taehyung watched as they tore his hyung apart.Whenever Yoongi got into a relationship, it always ended terribly. In no way was Yoongi popular in high school, but there was no doubting he was good looking. If he were more social and didn't push anyone that wasn't Taehyung away, he would have quickly climbed the latter, made so many friends and would have left Taehyung behind. But he never did that. He stayed with Taehyung through everything, even when it got bad enough for the both of them to start to get bullied.Despite that, there was still people looking to get with Yoongi, and every time someone came up to confess to him, Taehyung always told him to go for it, which was a huge mistake that he didn't learn to fix until later.Yoongi's relationships were a mix of males and females, which really didn't help with the bullying. Sometimes, more popular kids would try to get with him only to fuck him over later on and laugh about it.Taehyung felt like shit, still does, knowing that the reason Yoongi went through so much pain was because Taehyung always told him to go with them, hoping that somehow it would help him, that he would start to make friends, but every time it ended with Yoongi more broken than the last one, calling Taehyung up late at night crying, in pain and in rage. But this time, Taehyung knew it was different. He felt it in his being. Jungkook, even though he hardly knew the boy, was good. Something in him knew that Yoongi had to get with him, that this could be something amazing for Yoongi. Long distance relationships weren't even that odd these days either, even Jimin was trying to get with some guy that lived in Seoul while he lived in Busan. He just hoped that eventually Yoongi would come around and want to take a chance, like he did with Seokjin. -------------------------------------------------

Thanks hyuuuung~  Really, why the hell does he bother anymore? These kids were absolutely nothing but trouble for him, constantly having him buy them food and making him do things on a weekend when all he wanted to do was lay in bed all day and sleep (and maybe text Jungkook all day with no one bothering him... Shut up). He was getting too soft for these kids, sooner or later they were going to become spoiled brats.Luckily, Jimin's friend didn't live that far away from him, so he was able to get a taxi and the drive was only thirty minutes, much closer than he had expected. Jimin was lucky, any further and he would have cussed Jimin out. It wasn't that hard to find his apartment building either as he was following the directions to get there, constantly glancing at his phone as he walked. He finally reached a door with the appropriate numbers on the front. For some reason, Yoongi felt nervous. Why was he nervous? This wasn't his friend, he didn't care much about this person. What the hell.Without letting his mind think about it too much, he knocked on the door loudly and waited. There was no answer, so Yoongi frowned and hit the door again, harder this time. What the hell was he supposed to do if this guy actually was dead? Yoongi didn't know how to do shit. Should he just call an ambulance now? Should he just stand here and wait and possibly seem like a weirdo for just standing here for so long? How the hell did this guy have the chance to kill himself just by walking around? Can someone be that clumsy--There was a muffled noise on the other side of the door, which caused Yoongi to jump a bit in surprise. In the next moment, the door was opened."Hyung?""Hoseok?"Okay, this was weird. Was Hoseok the friend Jimin was talking about? Hoseok didn't seem like the type to be clumsy as fuck, since he moved so fluidly and surely when he danced.Hoseok smiled widely, looking happy regardless. "Hiya hyung! Didn't expect to see you! How'd you get my apartment number anyways? Did Seokjin-hyung tell you it?""Uh, no," Yoongi said, as he rubbed the back of his neck. He quickly checked his phone, and yup, the place was right. "Actually, I got directions to this place from Jimin."The boy blinked for a moment in confusion, before his expression lightened up. Really, it looked too much like the sun when it came out from behind the clouds. "You know Jiminie too?! Ah, now I get why you're here, Jimin sent you to check on Namjoon, didn't he?"Yoongi blinked before nodding wordlessly. He actually hadn't received a name, he hadn't bothered asking for it since he assumed his friend had lived alone."Come on in, hyung," Hosoek said as he opened the door wide and stepped aside. "I don't know why Jimin didn't text and ask me, ah, he probably thought I was out working, sorry about the trouble," he said as Yoongi stepped inside and looked around. The place was very clean, and the curtains for the windows were drawn back to allow sunlight to pour in. It reminded him so much of Hoseok with just the feeling of this place, even if it was a bit worn. "Since you're here, you can meet Joonie and then tell Jimin that his lover is still very much alive and breathing."He didn't get to answer back, because Hoseok left him standing there before he could answer. This seemed weird, that everyone seemed to know each other like this. For the longest time, it had just been him, Taehyung and Seokjin. Now he was being introduced to others that shared the same friends. Wasn't that weird? Should he find that weird? Or was the world just a lot smaller than he expected?
Jungkook
Jimin said you're meeting Namjoon-hyung??? Yup, sure am
Jungkook
OhHe's the friend I mentioned that lives in Seoul :)Namjoon-hyung is super niceI hope you two get along This was great, he was feeling even more weird now that he knew that Jungkook was friends with them too.Maybe he's just being weird about it...There was suddenly a noise from the other room, and it caused Yoongi to jump once again. How many noises was going to come from this place? Not too long after, Hoseok was back out with a very wide smiling, dragging along someone behind him, who Yoongi assumed was Namjoon.Namjoon was tall and lanky, looking nothing like the type of person you would expect to have the chance to kill himself with just standing there. Well, except for the fact there was a red mark on his forehead that he was rubbing at with his free hand, looking slightly in pain."Sorry for the wait, hyung!" Hoseok said cheerfully. "This is Kim Namjoon, him and I are the same age!"The male bowed a little, not moving his hand from the mark. "It's nice to meet you, uh...""Min Yoongi."Namjoon froze for a second and frowned in confusion, looking back at Hoseok. "Wait... As in-""Yup.""Really?""Yes.""... He's shorter than I expected."Yoongi blinked, not sure if he should feel offended or not. Namjoon finally realized that he had been rude, because his ears turned red in embarrassment quickly when he turned back to Yoongi. "Oh, shit I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything bad, just-- It's really nice to meet you." Namjoon then smiled, and showed off a pair of dimples that were similar to Hoseok's.What the hell? Why did they both have cute dimples? Unfair..."Right, same to you," Yoongi said once he shook his head, shaking away the thoughts because what the hell, dimples, "I'll just let Jimin know then and get out of your hair--""Ah, it's okay!" Namjoon quickly said, taking a step forward as if to physically stop Yoongi if he had to. "I'll just call Jimin up myself," his face reddened a little as he looked away and rubbed the back of his head.Oh, this guy had it bad for Jimin. How weren't they a thing yet?"Hoseok nodded and let out a hum in agreement. "Besides, I just got done making lunch, so you can eat with us! Don't be too long on the phone with your lover, Joonie," Hoseok teased as he walked away from the taller man, who was currently as red as a tomato and seeming to be choking, quickly leaving the room.It was pretty amusing to watch this guy freak out, and he remembered that Jungkook also mentioned he was a music producer just like himself. Is Namjoon always this much of a mess when talking about Jimin?
Jungkook
LmaoooooIt gets worse I need to see that sometime
Jungkook
N oThey're g r o ss In what way?
Jungkook
The fact that they won't fess upIt's frusterating "You talking to Kookie?"Yoongi literally jumped at hearing Hoseok talking to him, so focused on talking to Jungkook and only caring about him that he completely forgot there was someone else in the room. "Ah, yeah, he was worried about Namjoon too, so I just... Yeah," he rambled. He probably was picking up that habit now from Jungkook, damn it.Hoseok laughed lightly, leading Yoongi over to a chair by the kitchen which he sat in silently as Hoseok went to the stove, stirring something in a pot that smelled much like soup. "Well, Kookie is pretty attached to Joonie, so I can understand why he would be.""What do you mean?" Yoongi asked, trying to keep the curiosity from his voice. Obviously he was doing a bad job at it, because Hoseok just smiled more."He's a huge fan of Joonie's for, like, a long time. Probably since Joonie even started making music, it's really cute."Yoongi couldn't stop the pout that formed on his face, and his chest twisting slightly at the information. Of course, Jungkook could like whatever he wanted, he totally wasn't jealous that he was a big fan over another music producer and not him.No of course he wasn't jealous, that would be stupid. Why would he be?"However," Hoseok suddenly said, catching Yoongi's attention as he dragged the word out a bit, "I've noticed that recently Joonie has been having a lot of competition. Not once did Kookie ever use his music for an assignment."It was so stupid, but a smile formed on Yoongi's face at hearing that. "Wow, you and Joonie are so fucking whipped," Hoseok laughed, causing Yoongi to try and pout but the smile on his face wouldn't go away."Shut the fuck up, respect your hyung. I can just as easily drag your ass."Hoseok let out a hum as he opened a cupboard and grabbed three bowls which softly clinked together. "Oh yeah? What can you say to me, hyung?""Well, for one, you're whipped for that Seokjin-ssi you keep talking about, and I think you mentioned a Taehyung too," Namjoon said as he walked out in the kitchen to join them, listing the things off on his fingers. "Also, you're just as whipped for Jimin by always babying him.""Jesus, how much of the fucking conversation did you hear?" Hoseok said as he turned around and smacked the taller male on the arm lightly, his lips forming a peak as he pouted. "Instead of being a creep, you could have joined in sooner!"Namjoon laughed a little. He tried walking over to the stove, but Hoseok instantly stopped him before he could get any closer and pushed him to the chair beside Yoongi. "I'm not having a repeat, Joon," Hoseok scolded him as the man took a seat, sounding much like a parent would to a child.Yoongi raised his eyebrows in confusion. Thankfully, Namjoon noticed and he cleared his throat before speaking. "Last time I tried helping, I, uh, kinda almost burnt the place down?""Kinda? Joon, I love you, but your clumsy ass almost got us kicked out! I'm not risking that shit again!"It was pretty amusing to see Hoseok yell at the other, because Yoongi would have never expected it from him. Well, yelling yes, because he proved soon after meeting that he was loud like Taehyung, but not scolding someone. Namjoon looked at Yoongi, his expression reading that he wanted help, but Yoongi just smirked. ------------------------------------------------------ Jungkook's laughter was intoxicating, really. Yoongi loved to hear the boy laugh whenever they were talking, it made him smile and his stomach would twist this way and that. It was a pity he could only hear it through a phone though, since he knew the low quality warped it, but he had no doubt in his mind it was absolutely amazing hearing him in person. For now, he was content like this."I love it when Hobi-hyung scolds Namjoon-hyung, it's so funny," Jungkook said once he caught his breath.Yoongi nodded in agreement, giving a lighthearted chuckle. He and Jungkook have gotten into the habit of calling each other late at night ever since their first phone call, even if they had been texting all day. It didn't matter. Yoongi loved hearing Jungkook's voice, and listen to him talk on about his day, and since Jungkook knew Hoseok and Namjoon, of course he wanted to tell the boy about his trip to their apartment."How do you know them, anyways? You live in Busan," he asked, sitting crossed legged in his chair that was in front of his desk. It was the only comfortable place other than his bed.The boy went quite for a moment, deep in thought. "Well, I met Hoseok-hyung when him, Jimin and I joined a dance workshop here in Busan. At the time, hyung lived somewhere else, but the workshop was, like, huge for anyone wanting to get into dance, so he convinced his parents to let him go. It was a camping workshop anyways, so it was fine apparently. A few years after that, Jimin met Namjoon-hyung on that dating app. He told me that Namjoon-hyung was in college for music production so we both got curious and listened to his music, instantly I was a fan. We went and told Hoseok-hyung about him, and it turned out that they both were going to the same college in Seoul!"Yoongi listened to his story intently, nodding every now and again and giving signs for him to continue through low hums. That honestly was interesting to know, he would have never guessed that Hoseok had known them for such a long time. It seriously still felt weird to him that everyone somehow, some way, knew each other. How small did the world have to be for that to happen?Taehyung would say that it was fate, or destiny, tell him that they all were tied together somehow. He really didn't know what to make of it yet, but he was slowly growing grateful for it happening."Hey, hyung?""Yeah?" Yoongi said, noticing at how much softer Jungkook's voice had gotten."Do you... think that we can meet someday?"He didn't want to lie, but he didn't want to upset Jungkook. Yoongi wasn't an optimist, or a pessimist. He tried to be realistic, which most of the time made him seem like a pessimist. As much as he wanted to say he didn't know, that there was no telling, a part of him told him yes, of course they will. He wanted to meet Jungkook badly, more than he originally thought. It was something he wanted so badly, he was willing to do anything to make it happen. So, before he could stop himself, he said, "Of course we will, Kook-ah. I know we will."

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Here's the thing, Yoongi absolutely hated making promises. He also hated when others made promises to him.It wasn't because he went back on his word, but it was because he was afraid that he wouldn't ever be able to fulfill that promise. It was huge to him to the point that sometimes other people wouldn't understand, but they were important to him, and he didn't want anyone making a promise to him if there was no way they'd be able to fulfill it either. It gave him too high of hopes, most of the time only to be disappointed later on.So he never made promises. There was a reason he was thinking about this in the first place.Seokjin had noticed that Yoongi had been texting more when they were together at Seokjin's apartment. Since he was doing well off with his acting career, his apartment was a lot nicer than Yoongi's, bigger too, which everyone who knew him took advantage of, Yoongi especially. Also, Seokjin had a habit of making more than enough food, and no one complained about it because, hey, free food."I don't think I've ever, in my life, seen you this addicted to your phone," Seokjin said, setting a steaming pot down in the center of the table, giving Yoongi an amused smile. "Well, other than when Tae got you addicted to that one game."Yoongi grunted, setting is phone down on the table. "That hell game has long been deleted from my phone.""There's such a thing called temptation.""I also deleted the app store.""How the fuck did Tae get the dating app downloaded then?" Seokjin asked as he handed Yoongi a bowl full of noodles that smelled just as spicy as they looked.Yoongi frowned a bit at the thought of how spicy the noodles would be, not a huge fan over overly spicy foods (they shouldn't make you literally start crying that's just too much). "Fuck if I know, hyung. I didn't ask questions. Who knows what I'll do."Seokjin thought for a moment before nodding. "That's fair."Silence came over the two, other than the noises of eating and Yoongi's phone going off every now and again. Most people would find this weird, two exes eating dinner together. It was very domestic, but neither one of them honestly cared. Why should they? They were still friends, screw social norms, they weren't norms anyways. Norms were just social constructs and they were fake, so they did whatever they damn well pleased without a second thought. Besides, Seokjin was sure Yoongi would waste away if he wasn't around to feed him, and basically take care of him.The elder let out a hum after chewing his food, making sure not to speak with his mouth full. "So who're you texting anyways? It didn't seem like the dating app... Is it Jungkook?"Yoongi didn't answer right away, all he did was shove his mouth full of food, hoping to keep from answering right away, and didn't look at his hyung. Seokjin could clearly see the blush coming over his face, and he literally had to hold himself back from cooing at Yoongi, knowing that the moment he did the younger would get upset and would refuse to answer. After swallowing his mouthful, Yoongi finally nodded, still not looking him in the eyes. "Yeah, it's-it's Jungkook."Seokjin let out a hum, smiling widely. It was so cute to see Yoongi so shy. The last time he saw Yoongi like this, it was when they were dating, and he felt happy knowing that the male finally found someone who returned that blush to him, who made him feel this way. It was good for him. "Jungkook-ah is so cute," Seokjin said in a sing-song voice, "He texts me every now and again too, ah I can't wait to meet him!"A scoff came from Yoongi, who slumped in his seat a bit before picking at his food. "Yeah, if only he didn't live in Busan," he muttered bitterly to his noodles, as if they were the reason for his misfortune. It was cute because his nose was scrunched in a slight pout, causing the elder to laugh lightly."Yoongichi, did you forget what I do for a living? Hm?"The younger rolled his eyes at Seokjin's antics. "How the hell can I forget when you live in a place like this, hyung?"Seokjin laughed once again, a bit more this time, while shaking his head lightly. "It's not that big or fancy, I like living modestly." He pretended to not hear Yoongi mutter "Modestly my ass," because he didn't take stuff like that to heart. Yoongi was basically a tsundere, his words had no real bite to them ever. "Ah, my dearest Yoongichi, what would you do without me? Your greatest hyung? Your most handsome hyung? The hyung who you love oh so much?""What the hell are you getting at hyung?" Yoongi said, finally looking up at the other with a frown.""Once you hear this you'll be proclaiming your love to me!""Can't wait to hear it from Hoseok?" Yoongi said with a raised eyebrow. He would have included Taehyung, but then it would be outing his best friend on his crush. Once again, Yoongi wasn't a complete ass."Yah!" Seokjin yelled with a red face, hitting Yoongi on the shoulder lightly. "The nerve of you kids sometimes!""We're three months apart.""And still, the nerve! Really! You'll be kissing my feet at hearing this!""Hyung please, I'm getting old just listening to this.""Do you want to hear?""Yes.""Do you really?""Why not?""Do you really really want to know?""Actually I don't, bye hyung, thanks for the meal," Yoongi said, getting up from his seat and acting like he was about to leave."Okay I'll tell you! Just sit back down or you'll faint from hearing this!" Seokjin said, making wild gestures with his arms. He only continued once Yoongi sat back down, leaning forward and looking at the younger with a twinkle in his eyes. "So, I overheard a conversation from my manager while he was on the phone. Now I'm usually a saint and I won't listen in to others conversations," a big fat lie but okay, "but this one caught my attention! Because as I was walking by on my merrily way to go home, I overheard a job offer! Guess where?"Yoongi was in no mood to play his childish hyungs games, so he sighed and leaned back in his chair, giving a lazy shrug.Seokjin let out a tsk, shaking his head. "Ah, can't even take a guess... Well, I'll tell you anyways. So we like to shoot on location, and this particular job offer wasn't in Seoul! So far I've only been doing job offers in Seoul, but this one sounded promising from what I could hear. The job offer was, drum roll please," when Yoongi offered no drum roll, Seokjin did it himself by lightly tapping his hands on the wooden table, giving a wide grin as if he found this absolutely hilarious, "Busan!"His exclamation was met only with silence. Yoongi gave him an odd look, one that looked like he was confused. "Okay... Busan... So?""Aish, you really killed the mood, Yoongichi... I'm allowed to take friends along! At this point I'm basically your cupid, get on your knees and say 'You're the most handsome hyung ever and I love you' and maybe I'll consider bringing you with me."Really, past Seokjin saying he can bring people with him, he tuned him out. Everything around him was just white noise now, and his mind was reeling. He could meet Jungkook...? Really? They can see each other beyond a screen, hear each others voices without static and clear as day, be able to touch and see him and know that he's actually real?Nothing felt real at that moment, not until Seokjin snapped him out of whatever trance he was by shaking his shoulder lightly. His expression was now a softer one, giving Yoongi a small smile. "It's not confirmed yet, I still need to meet up with my manager and discuss it, but... I'd be more than happy to take you along, Yoongi."He didn't know how to react, he didn't know what to say, all he did was blink and stare, until finally he could move, throwing his arms around Seokjin's shoulders. "Thank you, hyung. Thank you so much," he muttered, his voice a little broken from the overflow of emotions. Seokjin took no time in wrapping his own arms around Yoongi's middle, hugging him tightly. "No problem, Yoongichi, I'm glad to make you happy."  ----------------------------------------------------------------------- It also turned out that Taehyung was working on the same drama, because the same day that Seokjin met up with his manager, Taehyung came crushing into Yoongi's house ("What the FUCK Tae I thought my fucking house was being broken into!" "Live a little hyung. The excitement is good for you." "I need to go to the hospital take me there now you fucking brat." He didn't go to the hospital), basically screaming his lungs out with the widest smile ever.Yoongi hoped it would literally break his face."Hyung! You'll never guess what just happened!" Taehyung exclaimed happily, clinging onto the elder and shaking him. If Yoongi were a baby, he would already have shaken baby syndrome. Maybe it was causing brain damage even now. Maybe he should sue the brat."Why are you screaming in my ear, Tae? What can be so important at the loss of my hearing?" Yoongi said, grabbing onto Taehyung's hands and gently prying him off.Taehyung was unable to stand still as he bounced between his feet, physically shaking from excitement. "This is such great timing hyung! I'm so excited! I just got an offer to be featured in a drama in Busan! And I can bring friends with me! Hyung!!! Do you know what this meeaans!?"Yoongi winced, feeling as if he was going to lose his hearing. Which was bad, they were his money makers at this point. If he was deaf he might as well be dead. "That's great, Tae, now please stop yelling."Clearly his lack of enthusiasm was surprising to Taehyung, because he stopped smiling and drew back a bit. "Why aren't you excited? Do you know what this means?""You get to see your soulmate?"Taehyung shrugged and nodded. "Well that's one, but NO!" His voice suddenly got loud at the last part and grabbed onto Yoongi's shoulders again, which startled Yoongi a bit and made him jump. "Think hyung!!! THINK!!! It means you can see Kookie!! I can be your cupid hyung!!!""Stop yelling in my house before my neighbors complain," he once again removed Taehyung's hands off of him before he could do more damage. To be honest, if he was going to get a noise complaint, it would have happened already. The younger visited quite frequently, and in no way was he ever quiet in his life. And Yoongi would know, he has literally been with him all his life. "Also, Seokjin-hyung mentioned something already to me about this yesterday. I guess you both are going to be cast in the same drama. Congrats."It was rare for Seokjin and Taehyung to be in the same drama, mainly because they just tend to work in different genres. Yoongi could only remember one other time they were in the same drama, and that was only because they were secondary characters. Maybe this time they both would be main characters. That would be very exciting for both of them.Taehyung blushed a little, drawing his hands back as if he had just been burnt. "Ah, hyung stole my thunder," he pouted, though there was no real venom in his voice. There never could be when it came to Seokjin. After a second, he shook his head and grinned widely once more. "Well, obviously you're coming with us, hyung! So pack your bags!""When are we leaving?"The younger froze for a second before he frowned in thought. "Uh... Honestly...? No idea."Yoongi couldn't help the small chuckle. Ah, Taehyung was lucky he was cute, everyone was weak for him. "It's okay, Seokjin-hyung will probably figure it out after meeting with his manager. We should know by then."Taehyung nodded, before he went on to chat away, Yoongi silently listening and only speaking when he needed to. He was seriously excited for this, but also very nervous. Of course Yoongi has met Jimin in person before with Taehyung, it was when the two were still in college and Yoongi was freshly graduated. It was Taehyung's birthday present from Yoongi, since the two boys had been talking for a while now before that, and while Yoongi doubted that Jimin was going to be a fake, he still bought himself a ticket and went along to keep him safe.Thinking about Jimin made him start to think of Namjoon. Would one of them offer to bring him too? Soon after Yoongi had officially met Namjoon, Seokjin met him too, since apparently the older went to go visit Hoseok in his apartment and was introduced to the other. Taehyung may not have officially met Namjoon yet, but they've texted. Mainly because Seokjin found it a good idea to put everyone in a chat room (titled "Seokjin and the six babies" because he thought he was fucking hilarious). Either way, they knew about Jimin's and Namjoon's relationship- or probably lack thereof- and will probably want play cupid for them just like they were going to for Yoongi.Which he didn't need. He was fine on his own, thank you very much. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Seokjin had always been much more reliable than Taehyung with information, because later that evening he got a text from the elder telling him that they were scheduled to leave in two weeks. Apparently they were going to change locations quickly, because they only needed three days with recording, so they were to get in a train in the afternoon with the rest of the day off, then the next three days they would be off recording, and then on the fifth day they would head back to Seoul early in the morning. It was sad for Taehyung and Seokjin, because that meant they wouldn't have much time to explore Busan and look around. Which they both said was okay, the weather was getting colder anyways, and Busan was the sort of place you wanted to be for the summer. There was no doubt that Jimin will cling to Taehyung whenever he could anyways, unless he was too busy with Namjoon... Which they were bringing along, thankfully. Or not so thankfully.

sOULMATE!!!!!<33333333333333333  Yoongi couldn't see what happened next, because his phone started ringing. His heart skipped a beat at the familiar icon of a bunny toothed smile and bright eyes that held the galaxy. After taking a deep breath, he hit the green button. "Kook-ah?""Is it-is it true?" the youngers voice came through the phone, and it sounded like he was a little out of breath. The thought made Yoongi frown, wondering why that was.He made a noise in agreement. Suddenly, he was very worried about what Jungkook would think of this. Of course, they've spoken about meeting before, but it was all just wishful thinking, something that wouldn't happen for a while longer. Now, their wishful thoughts were within reach, and anxiety rushed through his veins. "Listen, if you don't want to, we can--""When?" Jungkook said, cutting him off."Um... Two weeks, I think. That's what Seokjin-hyung said at least."The line went silent, and Yoongi feared the worst. Holy shit, Jungkook was about to say no. Which was fine if he didn't want to, Yoongi didn't want to make him uncomfortable, but his mind was playing tricks and making him fear the worst. What if this caused Jungkook to say he no longer wanted anything to do with Yoongi? It was one thing to talk to someone through a screen, it was another to see them in person even for a short amount of time. There was a noise on the other end, something that sounded like choking, and Yoongi pushed his own thoughts and worries to the back of his mind. "Kook-ah? Are you alright?" he asked."Hyung, I-" Jungkook's voice cracked, and another choking sound came through, followed by a shaky breath. "I'm just so-so happy."He couldn't see it, but Yoongi could imagine Jungkook's smile as he cried happily, and any worries or anxieties in his heart and mind suddenly vanished as he allowed himself to smile. "Me too, Kook-ah." His voice was quiet, and when Jungkook heard him say that, he let out another choked sob, muffled now in what Yoongi could image as Jungkook putting a hand over his mouth to keep them quiet."Let's meet quick-quickly, hyung.""Two weeks will pass before you know it."

I'LL EVEN GET YOU A PICTURE IF HE IS  ----------------------------------------------------- Time was a bitch. It was both painfully long and painfully slow for the two weeks to pass by. During the whole time, they all spoke in the chat room often, making plans of meeting up, having Jungkook and Jimin show them around Busan, working around everyone's schedules, and overall it was fun planning it all out.Whenever Jungkook and Yoongi would call during those nights, the younger would talk excitedly about everything he wanted to show Yoongi through his hometown before drifting off to sleep. It made him feel a bit guilty that Jungkook was using all the time he could be using to sleep to talk to Yoongi, especially since he still had college classes to attend the next day, but the younger insisted it was okay.Yoongi wouldn't be able to tell him no anyways. The night before they were to leave, Taehyung decided it would be a fantastic idea to crash at Yoongi's place. It wasn't that odd, it was like every other day the younger was in Yoongi's house, and both of their nerves were high. Even though Taehyung was a fantastic actor, and has been in many dramas already, he still got nervous and had butterflies in his stomach when there was a project coming up. The two being together calmed them down. It's how its always been.Taehyung let out a heavy sigh as he sat on the bed, his back pressed against the wall behind him. "Hyung," he called to the elder, who was currently typing away on his phone, sitting on the floor leaned against the bed. Yoongi only gave a grunt in response, but that was all Taehyung needed to know the older was listening. "I've been... Thinking about something, and I want your opinion.""You're always thinking about something, Tae, it's not always normal either."The younger let out an offended scoff, pretending to be offended, but there wasn't much he could say against the matter, so he just continued on. "I've been thinking... Well, maybe after this trip--""It's not a trip, you're literally at work--""It's like a trip okay just let me finish- after this trip I should confess to Seokjin-hyung."Yoongi froze, blinking for a second before locking his phone and turning around to face Taehyung, who was picking at the hem of his sleeves and looking so much more nervous. "Why don't you do it before?""If I do... I'm scared of making things awkward.""I told you that it wouldn't, it'll be okay.""But what if it does?!" Taehyung shouted rather loudly, looking frustrated and anxious, like he was ready to throw up at any second. "With you and hyung it was just different! You two just have always acted different around each other, probably because you're so close in age, I don't know! But just because nothing got awkward with you two doesn't mean it won't happen to me! And-And with him looking at Hoseok-hyung like he has, and him looking back, I just-""Whoa, Tae, breathe," Yoongi said in a low and calm voice, moving so that he was now seated on the bed and in front of the younger. Taehyung's voice had been steadily getting louder as he spoke, and Yoongi could see his eyes glistening with unshed tears. His heart clenched at the sight, upset that his dongsang that was much like a younger brother was so upset and worried about this. "It'll be okay."Taehyung tried to do as told, he tried to breathe, but no matter what he couldn't get a hold of one. He let out a bitter sounding laugh that rushed past his lips, bringing a hand to clench at his hair tightly. "You can't say that! It won't-You don't know that! No one does! What if-What if he really does think I'm a freak? Everyone else does! Everyone else has! What if he's-if he's just too damn nice to say anything! And then I go and confess and he-he laughs hyung! What do I do then?!"Yoongi reaches out and takes the youngers free hand in his own holding it tightly. He let out a soft hush as he brought his hand up to the one clenching hair, and gently pried it away, holding onto that one as well. "Everything will be okay, right now just breathe, okay? Can you do that for me?"The younger said nothing as Yoongi leaned forward, touching their foreheads together and breathing with Taehyung deeply. He was no stranger to these sort of things, and neither was Taehyung. After a few moments, Taehyung's breathing started to slow and become more relaxed, his hands holding onto the elders as if it was the last thing keeping him sane, and at this moment it just might be.Usually, Taehyung was really great at keeping himself calm and not freaking out too much. He knew how to care for himself, not focus on the thoughts, and slowly get himself to relax. With all the stress that's been going on lately, the position in Busan and whatever was going on with him, Seokjin and Hoseok, it was no wonder that he was unable to control himself. It was okay though, Yoongi would always be there to help him."Feeling better?" Yoongi asked, pulling away a little and giving his hands a reassuring squeeze.Taehyung nodded, his eyes shut tightly, but his features slowly relaxed until he could finally open his eyes, a few tears having found their way down his face. Yeah, I'm... I'm better, I think." Yoongi reached and gently brushed the tears away with one hand. He wasn't the type to initiate skinship, but he knew that Taehyung calmed down faster with it, and he was willing to do that for him."Listen, I swear that things between you and hyung won't get nervous," he finally said after another beat of silence, keeping his voice calm for Taehyung's sake. "He's honestly a great guy. You would obviously know that since you love him, right?"Taehyung nodded weakly, unable to deny that, and remained silent."Hyung would never find you weird like those assholes that have when we were in Daegu, and those assholes that used you while in college. I know for a fact that he thinks you're endearing, and don't you remember all the times he has gone along with all your crazy plans and listened to you ramble about who knows what?"Another weak nod, this time followed by a shaky inhale."I get why you're so nervous, but you're freaking yourself out, Tae. You're still making yourself suffer. I think you should go through with your plan, tell him after we get back. Whatever he says, we'll work from there."Neither said anything for a while, Yoongi just listened to Taehyung inhale and exhale shaking breaths, trying to keep himself from falling over the edge again. Relationships were stressful, and so were emotions. He might be bad at emotions himself, but Yoongi will be damned if he were to ever leave Taehyung to deal with this on his own. Finally, Taehyung looked at Yoongi. "You promise...?" he asked in a voice so low, that if he didn't have Yoongi's full attention at the moment he may have missed it."Promise what?""That everything will be okay?"Yoongi hated making promises. "I promise." ------------------------------------------------------------------ It was a good thing that they didn't have to leave early in the morning to get to Busan, because Yoongi wasn't in any way a morning person. He hated having to wake up early if he absolutely didn't have to, and even then he didn't function like a normal human until he had at least three cups of coffee in him before going about his day. It was surprising that his heart hadn't collapsed on itself yet.Everyone else, to his dismay, were morning people, and he had one of those morning people in his home, so he woke up earlier than he would have liked and in a grumpy mood. Taehyung tried to make up for it by making him coffee before leaving to make sure he had finished packing. It was weird, Yoongi would soon be able to see Jungkook, but at that moment he wasn't nervous. Maybe it was because he had just woken up, but it might also have to do with the fact that they didn't plan on meeting anyways until tomorrow, when his classes let out.Seokjin made sure to text everyone where they would be staying, which was a rather close to the college Jungkook was enrolled in. Yoongi had no idea just where Taehyung and Seokjin were scheduled to record in, but he didn't worry too much about it, since him and the others could technically do whatever the wanted. The hours seem to drag by until they were finally boarding onto the train, and from there it was a three hour train ride to get to Busan, and then however much longer it took for them to get to their hotel. To be honest, Yoongi had just planned on sleeping the entire way while listening to music, especially since Taehyung made him lose sleep.
Jungkook
Board the train yet? Just getting on now
Jungkook
Oh!That's good! :)You can talk to me to pass the timeIf you want Seriously, who was Yoongi to say no?The sun was setting as they made their way, giving the world an orange hue to it, and Yoongi made sure to take pictures through the window, sometimes with his camera to edit later and some with his phone to send to Jungkook. He found out that Jungkook has never left Busan, yet the boy planned to in two years once he graduated. He wanted to come to Seoul and find a job there, knowing that a bigger place like Seoul will have better opportunities for him and what he wanted to pursue in life. The boy had big dreams and wanted to do all that he could to make it real (Yoongi's heart may or may not have skipped a beat). Before he knew it, they were arriving at Busan with the sun gone beyond the horizon, and he didn't end up sleeping at all the entire way. He had been too busy texting Jungkook to notice, but apparently everyone else did as they gave him a look and hinted at it. Really, why did he agree going with these idiots? Sooner or later he was just going to end up beating one of them."You're too short to hurt me, hyung," Taehyung said as they waited for their ride, poking the elder in the face. The next second he was dropped to the ground in pain, clutching his shin while Yoongi smiled happily to himself in triumph. "Next time, it might not be the shin," he warned, and Taehyung let out a groan as the others snickered, with Hoseok trying to help Taehyung back up.By the time they got to their hotel, everyone was completely exhausted and ready to call it a night. Seokjin and Taehyung had to wake up early for recording, Namjoon and Hoseok wanted to go exploring before meeting up with Jimin after the younger got out of work. Yoongi had nothing planned, so he took it as a sign that the heavens were sorry that he had to wake up early with no naps in between and were sending him an apology. Thank the heavens for once. They all went their separate ways, finding their rooms. I'm in my hotel room[attached image]It's really niceMaybe I should get an acting career
Jungkook
WhoaThat is nice! Also you can't do that, then I won't be able to hear your music anymoreWho else will I listen to when I need inspiration???? Don't you listen to Namjoon's stuff for that?
Jungkook
Used toYou're my favorite artist now In your face, Namjoon
Jungkook
LOLYou should get to bed though hyungI noticed you woke up earlier than normal today AhYeahYou're rightYou should too
Jungkook
I will :)Goodnight hyung.... See you tomorrow GoodnightYeah Yoongi fell asleep with a smile on his face.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

"Hyuuuung!"Nope."Open uuuuup!"Fuck this shit."Come with us!"He wasn't getting out of bed for any reason. No sir, he was happy were he was thank you. The hotel bed was softer than the one at his shit apartment, and he was absolutely warm knowing that outside it was cold as fuck. There was more knocking at his door, preventing Yoongi from falling back asleep."Do you wanna build a snowman?" Hoseok's voice sang, and Yoongi didn't even need to see his face to know the younger was wearing a shit eating grin. He heard cackling that sounded like Namjoon.Taehyung and Seokjin had already left for the day, having been woken up early by their managers and rushed off to filming. He had no idea how long it was going to take them today, or the other days they were going to spend here, but he could imagine it would take a while if he was basing it off anything during his time with Seokjin."Go the fuck away," Yoongi shouted, his voice rough still from sleep, and he rolled over in bed. Of course he wasn't going to spend all day here, he has plans to meet up with Jungkook once the younger got out of classes. Which is why he didn't want to get out of bed.He was absolutely nervous as fuck. His heart was pounding even now, just at the thought. It felt like as if he was going to throw up, or have a panic attack, or even a heart attack. God, this was fucking nerve wracking just thinking about it, was he supposed to feel this nervous? Was his heart supposed to feel like it was going to burst from his chest? Why the hell was he even this nervous anyways? It certainly wasn't a big deal! He was just meeting with Jungkook, and they were going to hang out until later when they would join up with the others, and everyone would have a good time.It was simple stupid! And yet..."Oay, Joon and I are leaving," Hoseok's voice came through the door again, this time losing a bit of its joking edge. "Call us if you need anything, alright?"Yoongi gave a grunt in understanding, not caring if the others could hear him or not. Their voices faded away until he was once again left with silence. He rolled over, grabbing his phone off the nearby nightstand to check the time. It was ten in the morning, Jungkook wouldn't get out of class until two in the afternoon. They planned to meet at 2:30, and be together until Taehyung and Seokjin said they were done with recording. He breathed in, trying to slow his beating heart that was threatening to burst out of his chest or crawl out of his throat, whichever was easier for it he supposed. Really, there was no reason why he should be this nervous, and yet he was. They've been talking almost every day for a few months now, even talking on the phone or video chat for hours at a time. The phone still in his hand buzzed multiple times, forcing Yoongi to open his eyes. Of course, there was a chance it was his annoying as hell friends, but it could also be Jungkook. It was a game of chance, and he could always tell the others to piss off.Luckily, he wouldn't have to.
Jungkook
Good morning hyung! :)WellAfternoonAlmost???????Either wayHi A smile made his way across his face. Normally Jungkook wasn't like this. Maybe that meant he was just as nervous...? Morning, KookDon't you have classes?
Jungkook
YeahI'm waiting for my professor to show up right nowIf he doesn't show up soon I'm leaving Can't you get in trouble for that?
Jungkook

Jungkook
Professor is inGodda goSee you soon!!!! Don't start a rebellion today
Jungkook
If it gets me out sooner...No promises  After Jungkook stopped texting in order to pay attention in class, Yoongi was left alone. Everyone was too busy to text him, not even through the group chat, and for now he appreciated it. He could take this time to calm down and get himself ready, so that's what he did. He scrolled on his phone to kill some time before finally getting out of bed and taking a shower. He spent an embarrassingly long time getting an outfit together, even though he didn't have much packed to begin with. Normally he'd just throw on a hoodie and some pants and call it a day, but this time he just wasn't satisfied with that. He blamed it on wanting to look nice since he was Seokjin's and Taehyung's guest, wanted to show their staff and coworkers he wasn't some kind of slum.Yeah. That's why... Let's go with that...By the time he was done, Jungkook was due to get out of class in an hour, and the group chat was alive, his phone buzzing with messages every now and again.

Okay... How about... Yoongi put his phone away, no longer caring about the conversation. The group chat was going to go silent again soon, since everyone was going to get busy once again, so he decided to put on his jacket, make sure he had all of his things, and go to where he planned on meeting up with Jungkook. He didn't know the place, but Jungkook said it was a midway point between the hotel and the college, so Yoongi didn't put up much of an argument. The staff ignored him as he left the building. The cold, outside air hit him like a ton of bricks, and he bunched up deeper into his jacket to try and fight it off. It was now early winter, snow was in the near forecast. He was even surprised it hadn't started snowing yet, and couldn't remember if being near a body of water made the weather colder or warmer than normal. Maybe that was a thing Taehyung or Namjoon would know. Yoongi would consider himself a genius, but not in this sort of thing. His walk, thankfully, was relatively short. After checking the time and seeing it was around the time they planned on meeting, he stood outside, not expecting it to take very long. From what he learned, Jungkook was a very punctual person. He liked to show up exactly on time, sometimes would even show up early, but he absolutely hated showing up late to anything ever. Jimin had said it's sort of scary with how he always manages to get in right on time and not even a second too late. Claimed that the boy probably has time manipulating powers.Yoongi just thinks Jimin has been hanging around Taehyung for too long.It was hard to tell if the cold weather was helping with his nerves or not, since his heart rate increased a little and he was jumping from one foot to another to keep warm. It would be easier if he would just go inside a building, but he didn't want Jungkook to wander. After a while, he checked his phone, and saw that six minutes had already passed. Yoongi frowned, but didn't get too concerned. Maybe class was holding him back, or he had something unplanned last minute to do... Six became ten. Ten became seventeen. Seventeen became thirty. Thirty became forty-five. Forty-five became an hour.  An hour became him returning back to the hotel, shivering uncontrollably and unable to feel his toes or fingers, feeling very concerned and very pissed off. JiminHeyAnswer your fucking phone
Troublemaker #2

Troublemaker #2
just stay there hyungwe'll figure it out Yeah... Was he stupid for getting his hopes up?Or was he just being annoyed for no reason? It's not like it meant anything. It was just a meet up between friends. Taehyung has bailed out on him before unannounced. Seokjin at least could send a quick message when something came up to let him know. So why did he feel like crying this time? Like his chest was twisting and turning painfully like he was rejected? It was stupid...So stupid...He couldn't stop his vision from blurring, and hot tears run down his cold face. So, so stupid...  -------------------------------------  They were gathered in a restaurant, a little later than one would normally eat dinner, but Seokjin and Taehyung had gotten done with recording late and went to the hotel to change. The atmosphere was light and full of laughter with some shouting here and there. They all have spoken before through text and video, so no one needed introductions, they already knew so much about each other that it felt like they were life long friends catching up. There was something different about being in person now, and it felt comforting to be together like this. It was warm, filling his chest up with happiness.Well, for the most part.Jungkook wasn't here.No one has heard from the boy all day, the last thing they did hear from him was when he messaged the group chat right after getting out of class. Jimin had even returned home to look for the boy, see if maybe he had fallen asleep, or if something had happened. However, Jungkook wasn't at the apartment. Jimin couldn't even find a trance that maybe he had returned at some point. His bag was still missing. They were all worried. Of course they were. All except Seokjin and Taehyung had gone out looking for him for hours.Jungkook never just upped and disappeared like this, Jimin had told them. He always made sure someone knew where he was at all times, simply out of habit and not wanting to worry his friends about him. Apparently the only times he ever did that was when he would get drunk, but Jungkook wasn't a reckless drunk, and everyone doubted that he had gotten drunk at any point in time. They only decided to go to dinner together because it was something they had all already planned on doing. If Jungkook wanted to find them, then he would know that this is where they would be other than the hotel they're staying at.Conversation came easy, though the tension in the air hung there as a reminder that something was off. Everyone tried to keep their spirits up, trusting that the youngest boy wasn't in harms way.Yoongi, however, couldn't bring himself to gather in the conversation unless someone dragged him into it. He sat there silently, not eating much, not talking much. The worry pulled at his stomach, as well as the heartbreak from earlier. He understood that maybe something came up, maybe something happened...Still didn't help the fact that he felt heartbroken, rejected. Still felt like crying, even though he had shed all his tears back at the hotel. He stared at his phone, keeping it on the table with either a hand on it, or his eyes glued to it, checking it every few minutes. Or seconds. He wasn't sure. The others kept giving him worried glances that Yoongi didn't like at all, because it made him feel weaker, so he eventually excused himself from the group and stepped outside, claiming that he needed some air and would be fine. You would think, having spent an hour out in the cold that he wouldn't want to be outside now, especially since the night was much colder now without the sun warming it up just a bit more.Looking down at his phone, Yoongi pulled up Jungkook's contact. His thumb hovered over the green button, too afraid. What if Jungkook was ignoring him because... because he didn't actually want to meet with Yoongi? What if that's why he was ignoring everyone else too?In that case, does Jimin know? Would he even do something like that? Yoongi has known Jimin longer than Jungkook, knew that the boy was super kind and wouldn't do such a thing, but what if...Holding his breath, Yoongi quickly pressed the button, and held the phone up to his ear... It went straight to voicemail.Without even leaving a message, he hung up and let out a heavy sigh. That meant that Jungkook's phone was off. For how long, and if this was for better or worse, Yoongi had no idea.He sent  a text to the others, letting them know he was going back to the hotel because he wasn't feeling well. They all agreed and told him to be careful, and if he needed anything at all to let them know..  -------------------------------------------------- The second day in Busan wasn't much better.Jimin had decided to stay at the hotel with the others, having taken off work for today and tomorrow in order to hang out with everyone. The downside to this meant that no one knew if Jungkook had returned to their shared apartment or not during the night and still no one could get a hold of him.Unlike yesterday, there was no knocking at Yoongi's door, insisting that he would spend the day with them. He was thankful for that, because all he really wanted to do was lay in bed all day. There was a weight in his chest now, making it feel like moving took too much energy out of him. It was so stupid, getting so worked up and upset over something like this after trying to convince himself it was no big deal. He still felt rejected in some way, and it didn't help that his mind was telling him the reason for it was all his fault. In order to ignore those voices, he did the only thing he could think of, which was just to keep sleeping. At least in his dreams the voices didn't reach him. It wasn't the healthiest coping mechanism he had, but it was one that worked at the moment, so he allowed sleep to carry him off with his phone turned on silent on the nightstand.God, it was so stupid. So, so stupid getting upset, and even having gotten his hopes up in the first place... He's not sure what time it is, because the next time he opens his eyes, it's to seeing a blurry figure leaning over him, brushing his hair out of his eyes with a gentle touch. It takes him a moment to register that the figure is talking to him."Come on, Yoongichi, time to get up."After hearing the voice and the very familiar nickname, Yoongi knows it's Seokjin and lets out a groan. "I don't godda get up," he says, his voice rough from not being used in hours, his words slurring together. "'m an adult, I'll sleep all day if I want."Seokjin let out a huff, and he couldn't tell if it was in annoyance or humor. "Luckily for you, you actually did sleep all day. The sun is setting, and we're going to have a bonfire. Come on, get that little butt of yours up and out of bed."Yoongi let out another groan in protest, but he did as told and sat up, rubbing at his eyes with a yawn. Seokjin made a cooing noise as he stood up from the bed and went to Yoongi's suitcase, digging through his clothes in order to find something for the younger to wear."Hear from Jungkook yet?" Yoongi asked after a moment of silence, it being the only thing his mind can think of even after having woken up.The older male froze for a moment, before turning over and looking at Yoongi with clothes in his arms, bringing them over to the bed. "No, no one has." Yoongi visibly deflated at this, looking down and messing with the thread on the blanket still over him. "However," Seokjin continued, "Jimin is trying to get a hold of Jungkook's older brother and see if he knows anything.""Jungkook has an older brother?" Yoongi said, trying to distract himself just a little bit. Also, this was his first time hearing this, so he was honestly curious.Seokjin nodded as he put the clothed on the bed and sat back down next to Yoongi. "Yeah, guess so. Apparently he doesn't live in Korea anymore, he moved somewhere else a few years ago while Jungkook was still in high school. I think it was for studying or something, but the two still speak to each other rather frequently."Yoongi let out a hum.His chest still felt tight, and all he wanted to do was check his phone, to see if Jungkook contacted him at all, but Seokjin even said that absolutely no one has been able to get a hold of him. He was only feeding himself false hope at this moment, and he needed to get rid of it before it took over and hurt even more."Hey," Seokjin said, his tone causing Yoongi to look up now at the older, who was wearing a very concerned and serious expression. "You know he's not doing this to avoid you, right?"Yoongi couldn't find it in himself to answer because, no, he didn't know that for a fact, and his mind wouldn't stop bringing up that fact."We might not have known him for very long, but I know he wouldn't do this to us, or more specifically, to you, on purpose." Seokjin reached out and held one of Yoongi's hands with his own, their fingers lacing together, and this reminded him much of the time when the two of them were dating. Seokjin helping him wasn't just specific to dating, nothing part of their relationship was. The two were able to support each other no matter what sort of label was thrown on to them, they were still close and they still loved each other deeply, and Yoongi is thankful for that."Jungkook is a good kid, Yoongichi, and I know that if he was truly a jerk then Jimin would have stopped this long before. In fact, Jimin wouldn't even be hanging around him, and you know I'm right. This is happening for a reason, and not one out of malice, I'm certain of that. I know you're worried, I know you're scared, but we're all here for you, and we'll figure this out together, okay?"Seokjin always knew what to say. He was comforting in many ways. Truly, Yoongi is thankful for Seokjin. Yoongi nodded, letting out a breath he didn't even realize he was holding. "Yeah, you're right hyung. Everything will... Everything will be alright." The elder smiled at hearing his words, leaning in to give Yoongi's forehead a soft kiss before drawing back. "Okay, now hurry and get ready. Taehyung is threatening to eat all the marshmallows before we even start the bonfire!" He laughed, and Yoongi couldn't tell if it was his imagination or a trick of the light, but it looked like Seokjin was blushing lightly as he got up and left the room, shouting over his shoulder about Yoongi having fifteen minutes before he let the troublesome younger ones in.He couldn't help the small smile that stretched across his face, some of the tightness in his chest easing up. He was lucky to have friends that were always there for him and would help him out when he needed it. As he was getting dressed, Yoongi suddenly wondered just how the fuck Seokjin got into his locked room in the first place... Well, that was fine, as long as none of the kids could get in, because once they got in there was no way they were leaving.Walking out in the hall, Seokjin greeted him from where he was leaning against the wall, putting away his phone that he had been previously absent-mindedly scrolling through. They didn't say anything, didn't need to, it was one of the perks of knowing someone for a long time, so they silently made their way to the elevator. The rest of the group were outside already, arguing loudly over who would sit where in the truck that Seokjin was borrowing from the company. Man, all the things that he could get away with, probably due to his good looks and charm. If only people knew just how much of a shy, awkward dork he really was.Everyone stopped yelling when they saw the two walking over, more specifically Yoongi."Told you I could get him," Seokjin said with a grin, twirling the keys from his index finger. With that, the others snapped back into their selves with Taehyung giving a pout. "No fair, hyung! I totally could have convinced him!""Convinced him to kill us, maybe," Hoseok said before letting out a shriek when Taehyung started chasing after him, running around to the side of the truck.Jimin laughed loudly from where he sat in the bed of the truck, cheering Taehyung on while Seokjin sighed, though it was obvious he was amused. "Okay okay, get in the fucking car before someone calls the cops on us for the noise.""Might be a murder," Yoongi muttered as he climbed into the passenger seat, only to have Jimin suddenly appear before he could close the door and drape himself over his lap. "Hyung!" Jimin whined, while also trying to act cute, "I wanted shot gun! Can I please have it? Pleaaaase?""What? No, I'm older get in the back.""Actually," Seokjin said as he climbed into the drivers seat, giving them a pointed look, "there's a seat here in the middle for one of you."Taehyung gasped, appearing suddenly behind Jimin and trying to drag him away. "I wanna sit there then!""No Tae! I already claimed it!""I don't see your name on it!""I could! Joon-hyung give me a pen!""But I don't have one...""A marker!""I don't have one either...""What kind of boyfriend are you?!"Everything froze.Taehyung stopped tugging on Jimin.Jimin's face was bright red.Slowly looking back, Yoongi saw that Namjoon's face was a similar shade."Oooooooooo," Hoseok's voice broke the silence. "Does my suffering end here?""Get in the fucking car," Yoongi said, trying to hold back whatever feeling he had over this situation. There was no more arguing as Jimin climbed into the seat between Yoongi and Seokjin up front, while Taehyung sat on the other side of Hoseok, who was between Taehyung and Namjoon.Seokjin muttered something under his breath about kids these days before starting up the car, and in no time they were driving down the road, blaring music and all awkwardness from before lost in the lyrics that they shouted at the top of their lungs.Namjoon would start to do a weird thing he would call singing and cause everyone to tell him to shut up. Taehyung and Jimin sang some Disney duet together, Yoongi voicing he had no idea what movie it was from and regretting his decision because it caused a five minute storm of him getting yelled at for being an uncultured swine and a disgrace to society.Hoseok got upset because he would want to dance, but in the confined space of the vehicle he couldn't do much but move his arms and sway a little, which caused him to accidentally hit both Taehyung and Namjoon quite a few times. It was surprising that they hadn't gotten into an accident by the time they got to their destination, which was a secluded area in Busan towards a beach. Well, beach was a loose term, it was more of a rough and rocky area that had small sections of sand here and there. The sun was dipped mostly beyond the horizon now, the warm lighting giving way to darkness with a few stars poking out from above. While Yoongi was in bed all day, the others had gone and gathered what they needed for the bonfire, including some wood and papers (and some other questionably flammable things that Yoongi wasn't going to ask about), drinks, some food to roast over the fire which included stuff to make s'mores ("Ya'll crusty hoes best keep off my marshmallows until I say so." "Calm the fuck down Tae, you're even lucky we're letting you eat those, you hyper active ass bitch."), along with enough blankets to possibly build a fort if they were indoors.Yoongi felt a bit guilty for not having helped gathered things, so he made up for it by helping to unload the bed of the truck and offered to start and keep watch of the bonfire.Of course, they had to lay down some rules."Hoseok, Taehyung and Jimin, no going swimming in the water.""But Seokjin-hyung, I'm FROM Busan! The ocean calls my name!" Jimin exclaimed, pointing at the waves that crashed against the rocks. "There could be a siren out there!" Taehyung unhelpfully included, while Hoseok just looked at Seokjin like he was crazy."Why would I go swimming?" Hoseok said, wanting an explanation.Seokjin huffed, shaking his head, but it was all lighthearted and in amusement. "Because I know once you get alcohol in you, you start to make some pretty stupid choices.""Like what?!""Like that time when you decided to do parkour.""Okay but I've done it before-""In the street.""It couldn't have been-""You almost got hit five times, and you only stopped when I had to forcefully drag you away while a cop chased after us."Hoseok blinked, rubbing the back of his neck and looking embarrassed. "So that's why you won't let us go back..."Seokjin gave him a pointed look before continuing on. "Namjoon is not allowed anywhere near the bonfire, nor is he allowed to help at any point during the night."Now it was Namjoon's turn to look offended, opening his mouth to say something, but shut it with a snap when everyone gave him a look that told him there was no arguing. He gave a silent thumbs up."Yoongi's not allowed to look at his phone or ask about any of ours."He was going to say something, defend himself, but he considered it for a moment. He knew that Seokjin was making this rule in order to make sure he actually had a good time with them, and not spend it feeling bad and depressed only to drink way too much to drown out the feelings. Seokjin walked over, holding out his hand, to which Yoongi reluctantly gave up his phone. Out of everyone here, it was safest with Seokjin, after all.Taehyung sat down on a blanket, crossing his legs as he looked at the small fire that was gradually growing, before turning his attention back on Seokjin. "What about you, hyung? Why do we get rules and you don't?"Seokjin smiled, looking like he knew that one was going to be asked, so he reached into one of the coolers and pulled out a bottle. "I do, my rule is that I'm not allowed to drink any alcohol. I'm not trusting with any of you losers-" a collective groan and shouts of defense "-to drive us back in one piece, so I'm the designated driver.""That's actually really responsible," Jimin muttered from where he sat between Taehyung and Namjoon after a few beats of silence. Looking at them, Yoongi could see the conflict in Jimin's head about who to lean more towards, as he swayed between the two of them with a yellow blanket wrapped around himself. He looked like a duckling. While Seokjin was making the responsible choice of not drinking in order to drive them back to the hotel sober later, everyone else threw caution to the wind. There will probably be regrets in the morning, and they should probably be out looking for Jungkook (Jimin had actually gotten a hold of the college and found out he showed up for a bit on campus in order to inform his teachers he was going to be out for a while. He wasn't able to find a reason why, but at least they knew he was still alive), but there was stress from everyone and this was a good time to say with hell to hangovers and push that to tomorrows worry.True to his word, Taehyung broke open into the marshmallows instantly, eating some while waiting for the one on the stick to roast. He had a bag entirely to himself, unwilling to even share with Jimin, so they were forced to open another bag. Which was fine, they had, like, five of them, all of which hopefully won't go straight to Taehyung's stomach, but that might be asking too much of him.Yoongi did his best not to drink too much. As much as he really wanted to forget, lose sense of time and being for a while, there was a nagging feeling that was stopping him from doing so. Besides, it wasn't all that bad, because as the younger ones drank more alcohol the more ridiculous they got, perfect for blackmailing material. Well, if he had his phone, so he relied on Seokjin to fulfill that part, which he thankfully did without being told to.Somehow, during the night, with the moon hanging high above their heads and giving the world a silvery glow that the ocean beside them reflected beautifully, they got into a game of truth or dare or drink. It's basically truth or dare, where you had to answer a truth no matter what, but if you denied a dare you had to take a shot, however in this case without having anything strong enough for shots it was drink half a bottle. Of course, the younger two kept trying to dare each other to go swimming, but Seokjin put a stop to it before it could happen."Alright, Yoongi-hyung!" Hoseok shouted, turning to look at the other, swaying a little from where he sat but looked like he was having the time of his life, "Truth or dare?"He thought for a moment. He really didn't feel like being made to do something ridiculous, being not nearly drunk enough for that yet, so he shrugged and said, "Truth, I guess."They all looked around at each other, besides Seokjin, giggling like a mess before Hoseok turned back to Yoongi. "Okay! Is it true that you-you like Jungkook?""Of course I like Jungkook," Yoongi frowned, confused. "Why wouldn't I?"Hoseok rolled his eyes, letting out a heavy sigh as if Yoongi just said something really stupid. "No, not like that, I meant in the like-like way, sheesh hyung."Yoongi felt his cheeks heat up, even though the air around him was cold other than what warmth came from the fire, looking away from the others and staring at the flames, wishing he would combust as well. "What the hell Hoseok, like-like? We're not in elementary school anymore."The male puffed out his cheeks, his frown turning into a triangle while some of the boys snickered out outright laughed. It was easy to make drunk people laugh. "Okay, fine," Hoseok said, a new determination washing over him, "do you, Min Yoongi-ssi, want to take Jeon Jungkook out on dates and hold his hand and kiss him and junk?"The other boys stared at him intently, waiting for an answer, which only made him more nervous and embarrassed to answer. Really, he hadn't put much thought into it. At this point, he would be happy with just calling Jungkook a friend...... Well, would he?Right now he was okay with it, but there was a deep feeling. Something that wanted more out of their relationship, wanting to take him out on dates, making him smile and hearing him laugh, wanting to know what it was like to hold his hand and embrace him, holding on tightly. He wanted to know how warm he was, what he looked like through all ranges of emotions in person, because behind a screen, it was different. He could experience these things like he wanted to, he knew he wouldn't, so Yoongi just buried them deep in his mind and in his heart and convinced himself he was fine with how things were now.But they weren't fine, and he wanted more. It was so selfish of him.It took a few moments for him to gather the courage to answer, though it wasn't really courage and more of wanting them to get their attention off of him, so he weakly nodded, looking everywhere but the faces of his friends. "Yeah, I... I really do," he muttered softly.Silence filled around them, the only thing disturbing it was the cracking of the fire. It was quickly broken by Taehyung standing up, shouting, "Pay up, bitches!"Yoongi blinked, face still red and looking around confused as some of them pulled money out of their pockets with a groan and handed it to Taehyung, who was grinning as if he won the lottery. "Do I even want to know?" he groaned, rubbing his face with his hands to try and hide the blush."Not really," Seokjin answered, taking a sip from whatever it was he was drinking, looking amused as hell as to what was going on."I'm not nearly drunk enough for this shit," Yoongi muttered under his breath as he took a chug from the bottle."My turn now," Taehyung sing-songed, even though it was very obviously Yoongi's turn but he wasn't about to argue with it, it just gave him more time to calm down his hammering heart. "Jiminie, truth or dare?""At this point it's a little pointless to ask," Jimin giggled. "Dare of course!"Taehyung took a moment to thing, rubbing at his chin. It was obvious that he already had something in mind with the way there was a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I dare you toooooo... Make out with Namjoon-hyung!"It was comical how both of their faces dropped almost at the exact same time."I-I'm sorry, wha-what?" Jimin stammered, wide eyed and blinking."You heard me, make out with Namjoon-hyung! Come on, we don't have all day!""It's not day time Tae," Seokjin said.Taehyung turned and gave the older finger guns before turning back to the pair. Namjoon looked away, clearing his throat while Jimin looked down at his hands that were in his lap, both having their faces a bright red. One could confuse the heat due to sitting so close to the fire and the work of alcohol, but they knew better. Everyone except for those two, apparently.Taehyung and Hoseok started chanting, apparently having no issue with PDA. "Do it, do it, do it!" They chanted, their voices getting louder as they went. At this point it was clear they wouldn't be happy with getting out of the dare by drinking, but was it really a good idea for something like this to happen while they were drunk? Yoongi knew they both had feelings for each other, they should do it at their own pace, like they have been.As painful as it was.Yoongi was about to speak up, but the sound of a ringtone stopped him from doing so, closing his mouth as soon as it started up.Seokjin quickly got out his phone, wearing a look of confusion before something else came over his expression, eyes widening. He quickly shut the two chanting up, though he had to put his hand over Taehyung's mouth to properly shut him up."Kookie?" He said, and everything felt like it froze. Yoongi felt his stomach twist violently and his heart beat even quicker, while the others exchanged looks of concern and confusion even through their drunken haze."Hold on Kook, slow-slow down," Seokjin said, frowning at whatever the youngest was saying, "Everyone is here with me, I'm gonna put you on speaker, okay?"Apparently Jungkook gave an okay because he pulled the phone away from his ear and pressed a button. "Okay, you're on speaker, now tell us what you want, but say it slowly. Breathe."The sound of Jungkook taking a deep breath came through the phone, and just hearing that made something twist inside of Yoongi."Okay," Jungkook said, his voice sounding a little uneven. "Okay... Uh... First things first, I'm really sorry about-uh, about disappearing suddenly. Something came up yesterday, really urgent. My phone died before I could contact anyone about it. I didn't have time to-to get my charger, so..." His voice trailed off and was followed by silence."Are you okay, Kookie?" Jimin said, his voice sounding so worried and sober despite not being so just a few seconds ago, having been a giggling mess before the call. "Do you need us to do anything?""Ah, no, no no. It's-uh-it's okay, I guess... Um, I mean, there's not really anything... you guys can do, I guess is what I mean... But I'm fine.""Do you wanna talk about it?" Seokjin asked, looking very much like the concerned hyung he was but held his voice strong. Yoongi was a bit jealous of the others being able to talk while his heart was lodged in his throat.Jungkook sighed, silent for a moment. "Kinda? Not really? I'm not sure... Well, okay... My mom, she... she's kinda sick, has been for a while now. I got a call saying she was at the hospital right after I got out of class, so I ran right over there. I've-I've been there since. Been here. Still at the hospital."Taehyung looked heartbroken at hearing this, quickly moving so he was closer to the phone in order to be heard better. "Is she okay? Do you want us to come to the hospital for you?""No, don't, it's okay. She's doing better, she should be able to get out in a few days. It's fine, please, hyungs, don't worry. I'm sorry I caused you guys so much stress, I didn't mean to, I didn't want to leave my mom's side and my phone had died and I only just got to charge my phone and-""Jungkook, breathe," Namjoon spoke up this time. "It's okay, we understand, we just wanted to be sure nothing bad happened. We're glad you're okay." It was easy to listen to Namjoon and relax. He had a very soothing voice that had you believing whatever he said, listening to him, so a few moments of silence passed as Jungkook did as told, focusing on his breathing to keep from hyperventilating probably. Finally, "Is Yoongi-hyung there?" he asked, his voice so soft that it would have been easy to miss it if everyone weren't listening so intently.Hearing this, Yoongi was able to break out of whatever trance he was in, clearing his throat softly and taking a deep breath. "Yeah, I'm here, Kook-ah," he said, wondering if the younger could even hear him with how soft his own voice sounded, surprising him a little."I'm really sorry hyung. I am... Please don't hate me, please.""I never could, Kook-ah. It's okay... Just make sure you take care of yourself, okay?""Okay, hyung... Okay..."Not long after they ended the call, Jungkook telling them that he was absolutely exhausted and was having issues staying awake to talk to them. They exchanged gooodbye's and good wishes before hanging up, and a moment of silence hung in their air around them, full of relief but also worry. They were so glad to hear that Jungkook was okay, but couldn't image how stressed the poor boy must be about his mother.Chatter once more took over, completely forgetting about their game of truth or dare, but Yoongi couldn't focus on what was going on around him.He was glad that Jungkook was okay. More than glad. And he was definitely relieved to hear so. The voice that was screaming doubts at him about Jungkook was a whisper in the back of his mind now, something he could ignore, but now there was something he couldn't and he felt guilty for it.He had been looking forward to meeting Jungkook for the first time, hopeful even about the experience. Yoongi just really wanted to know what he was like in person, what his voice sounded like without the ringing or static that came through when using the phone. Wanted to see what he looked like without pixels that warped the images. It was such small things, but he wanted it so bad that it hurt, and now he knew that he wouldn't get that chance anytime soon.No one questioned him about being so quiet, and he was thankful for it. They left their bonfire when the moon got a little lower in the sky, since Taehyung and Seokjin still had one more day of work to go to before they returned to Seoul. Taehyung was definitely going to suffer through a hangover tomorrow while working, and Yoongi knew he would come complaining to him all day. The ride back was mostly silent, due to everyone falling asleep or being too tired to do much of anything other than look out the window. Yoongi stayed awake, Jimin leaning on his shoulder from where he sat in between him and Seokjin, helping Seokjin stay awake and watch the road. There wasn't much talking between them on the ride home, and being the most sober out of everyone, they woke everyone up when they returned and got them to their rooms safely, with Jimin clinging to Namjoon and sleeping with him (again, possibly a bad idea, but there was no way he was able to convince Jimin otherwise in his still drunk and tired state, so that's for them to work out in the morning). With everyone safe and taken care of, that's when Yoongi finally decided to look at his phone, having gotten it back from Seokjin after getting in the truck. There were a few missed calls from Jungkook, and text messages from him.
Jungkook

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

"Hyung?""Tae, I-""What's wrong? Are you okay?""I... N-no...""What happened, hyung?""I don't-- Please, I can't, I-I don't wanna be alone.""I'm on my way." What should have been a short ten minute walk, Taehyung completed in five by running the entire way. By no means was he athletic, in fact he was a bit on the lazier side, but the call from Yoongi made him frantic. This wasn't the first time something like this has happened, and every time he hoped that it would be the last, but it never was, so without his parents knowing, he slipped into the cold night, completely forgetting he would have school in the morning.Instead of having to knock on the door, he used the key given to him by Yoongi so he wouldn't disturb his parents, who currently weren't home. When were they ever home? Taehyung didn't know the answer, and frankly he didn't care either, because right now Yoongi was the only person he was worried about. The house he walked into was quiet, dark and cold, and it scared Taehyung, making a shiver creep down his spine. "Hyung?" he said into the silent house, turning on the living room light as he passed by. It gave off a warm glow, and made him feel just a bit better.Receiving no response from downstairs, he quickly made his way up the stairs by skipping two at a time, ignoring the fact that he was in near darkness and there was a chance of him falling, but fuck it."Hyung?"There still was no response, so he started by checking Yoongi's room. It was empty of the boy he was looking for, and after exiting the room, he was able to see that the bathroom door was shut, a soft glow peeking from underneath the wooden door.Normally, he had enough manners to knock on the door, but right now he was too worried about his hyung to care, so he just opened the door slowly, hoping not to scare Yoongi (though he should have heard him walking around and calling out for him, but you never know). The sight before him broke his heart every time.Yoongi sat in a tight ball, shaking, and Taehyung could hear his muffled gasps for air. His phone was on the floor. Well, more like across the floor, because it was shattered and its pieces were everywhere. From the time it took Taehyung to get here, he had smashed his phone on the floor.Silently, he closed the door and made his way over to Yoongi, careful to step over the phone pieces. He sat beside him, and wrapped his arms around Yoongi from the side, one arm around his shoulders and the other against his knees, rubbing his hand slowly against his knee. Taehyung buried his face in the olders recently bleached hair, pressing a soft kiss to his temple."I got you, hyung," he said softly, his deep voice rumbling, and Yoongi let out a shaky sob. "I got you, it's okay."With Yoongi, it was always hard to tell when he wanted to talk or when he wanted to be silent. Sometimes he had a fiery rage that could cause him to scream and cuss about everything, even throwing things wildly around. And sometimes it would be silent, refusing to talk about what upset him, just needing comfort and someone close.Taehyung had assumed that Yoongi would just want to cry until he was too tired to do so anymore, but he eventually drew back enough for him to see Yoongi's face. His eyes were bloodshot from crying, and his expression was one of complete anguish. Taehyung couldn't remember the last time Yoongi looked this broken."He-he said that I'm... I'm too fu-fucked up," Yoongi choked out, his words breaking off by a sob. "I'm selfish, and-and I never care! Ca-called me a-a-a whore!"It took a second for Taehyung to understand who Yoongi was talking about, and he realized it was Yoongi's boyfriend, who now seemed to be his ex. Or better be his ex, because anger was now shooting through Taehyung's veins. Yoongi didn't need that right now though, he didn't need Taehyung being angry for him, so Taehung moved his hand from his shoulder to now run his fingers though the blond locks."You're none of those things hyung," he said, breath coming out into Yoongi's hair. "That guy was terrible, absolutely terrible."Yoongi let out a choked sob before shaking his head lightly, his hold around his legs tightening. "It wasn't-it wasn't just him, it was all of them! They-they all said the-the same thing!"Sadly, that was true. Every relationship Yoongi got in they always turned out to be complete assholes and would tell him these things before dumping him, laughing and harassing him at school later with their friends.Taehyung felt guilt twist at his chest. It was his fault. He always told Yoongi to get with these people, hoping that they would be different than the last, that Yoongi will get what he actually deserved, which was having a large group of friends. It was Taehyung's fault that he couldn't have that, because he was too weird, anyone that spoke and hung out with Taehyung was instantly deemed as weird, so no one spoke to him other than Yoongi. And he was ruining his life."It's not true, it's not true at all," Taehyung whispered, trying to keep his voice even and the wetness in his eyes at bay.It was his fault. ------------------------------------ It was no surprise to Taehyung when Yoongi finally graduated from high school that he wasted no time in leaving. He understood that, really. Even though that meant he would be spending his last year of high school alone, he wanted Yoongi to get out of this place quickly, to leave behind everything, even if that meant leaving Taehyung too."You have to call me every day, hyung," Taehyung said from where he stood by Yoongi's old, beaten car, which he would get rid of soon after Taehyung entered college with him. "It's the rules, if I don't get a call I'll call the police and tell them that you dropped dead in your dorms."Yoongi frowned as he closed the car door, the last of his things now boxed up and ready for the move. He didn't have much anyways, didn't want to bother with bringing too much with him, so it all fit into the small car. "You brat, you really think I'll drop dead suddenly?""Yes, with your sleeping habits and how you never eat unless someone forces you to, which happens to have always been me by the way. Without me, you'll collapse in a day!""Get out of my sight before I kill you," Yoongi said, but there was absolutely no malice in his voice, instead there was a small, fond smile as he lightly shoved Taehyung on the shoulder. It was strange, there was a time where Yoongi was taller than him for a few years. It had been when they were younger, probably elementary school or middle school. Of course, he had always just been skinnier than Taehyung too, him being just a naturally chubby kid and all. But now, standing here so many years later, with his hyung about to leave him, Yoongi was shorter, still small, and to others he would have looked sharp and distant, but to Taehyung all he looked was just soft, someone he could rely on, someone who will always protect him.No matter what he looked like, no matter how much he changed, Yoongi looked like home. And Taehyung was about to lose his home. The boy said nothing, just staring at Yoongi as his mind raced with these thoughts, and Yoongi allowed him to, standing there and saying nothing. It was early morning, the world taking on a glow as the sun was making its way up the horizon. Taehyung wanted to commit this moment to memory, because it's what will help him through his last year of high school alone.Truly alone.Without saying anything, Taehyung leaned in and pressed his face into Yoongi's shoulder, wrapping his arms around the smaller male. A moment later, Yoongi wrapped his own arms around Taehyung and held onto him tightly, the action giving him so much comfort and reassurance without even having to say anything.Taehyung was scared. He was terrified. But he was glad that his hyung was going to be happier now, away from Daegu, away from everything. This place only showed his lovely hyung hatred and coldness, and it was his fault. He only hoped he'd find warmth in Seoul. ------------------------------------------ "Freak.""Idiot.""Loser.""Did that other freak leave you?""Where'd he go?""Get sick of your ass?""What the hell, were you dropped on your head as a baby? What the fuck is wrong with you?""Aw, are you crying, little freak?""Look! He's angry!""Fine, call those aliens you say are real! Have them abduct me! Oh, wait!""God, you're so ugly... Who would want to hang out with you?" Taehyung left after getting his diploma without a word to anyone. -------------------------------------------- Seoul was... different, to say the least. But in a good way. Here, no one knew who he was. No one cared, either, about his past.It was bigger, more things to do, more things to see, more changes more changed, more of just everything, and it was absolutely exciting."Man, you look like an overly excited puppy," Yoongi said from the drivers seat, grinning. He had shown up for Taehyung's graduation, not intending for the younger to be here with him.Taehyung had come up to him the moment it was over without saying a word, but Yoongi could see something in his eyes. Something about him had changed, and all he could think of was getting Taehyung out of this place as soon as possible. Which is exactly what he did. His things at home were already packed and ready to go, carrying just as much as Yoongi had taken with him. The boy wasn't supposed to go to campus yet, but sometimes exceptions had to be made."This place is just so... Amazing!" Taehyung shouted, trying to look out the windows at everything, at all the buildings and people and the high energy of Seoul. It was completely different, but it was what they needed, what they wanted.Yoongi couldn't hold back the wide smile, nodding in agreement. "You'll get used to it eventually.""Are you? Used to it?"He hummed. "No, not at all."This just made Taehyung smile more, filled with excitement to the brim as he let out a high pitched noise, sinking into his seat and started rambling on about how excited he was to explode, about his classes and making new friends, getting to know everyone and everything. He just couldn't contain his excitement, and before long they were pulled up at the campus. There was a male sitting a ways away from the parking lot they pulled into, standing and walking over to the car. The male was tall, with broad shoulders and a very handsome face. He was wearing ripped jeans and a light pink hoodie, the breeze ruffling his hair and making him look that much more gorgeous.Taehyung didn't stand a chance. He was blown away right from the start."Tae, this is Kim Seokjin-hyung. He's been keeping me company while waiting for your ass to graduate," Yoongi said with a smile, before putting a hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "Hyung, this is Kim Taehyung. He's a little shit and like my brother."Seokjin smiled and, holy shit, did it just get brighter? "Nice to meet you, Taehyung," the older said, extending a hand, "I've head a lot about you from Yoongi!"The boy just blinked for a second, his mind spinning and feeling dizzy at the sight of this man, but he was finally able to get his shit together and quickly took Seokjin's hand in his, giving a smile. "Ah, yeah, nice to meet you too, Seokjin-ssi.""Just call me hyung, if you and Yoongi are so close then I don't doubt we'll get along great! What are you studying?""Act-Acting."Seokjin's eyes lit up, taking a quick look at Yoongi who nodded in confirmation, before turning back to Taehyung and looking absolutely excited and overjoyed. "That means you'll be seeing a lot of me! I can't wait!"Yoongi let out a snort, shaking his head. "Now I have two puppies to deal with, when did I become an animal daycare?""Yah!""Help me with his things, hyung.""You could ask me nicely.""Now.""You know I actually think I have somewhere to be right now! Oh it must've slipped my mind! I can't seem to help you Yoongi, you'll have to do it alone.""Okay okay, fine, please help me, hyung.""That's more like it!"Taehyung stood there, just listening to their lighthearted bickering, and his chest tightened, feeling warmth all over. This was what Yoongi deserved. Someone who could make him smile, make him feel comfortable, relaxed, make him laugh, make him happy. He belonged here, he belonged surrounded by love.It was bittersweet."Tae!"He blinked, having zoned out and no longer aware of what was going on. The two older men stared at him, arms full of boxes. Yoongi frowned. "Come on, you're lucky you have two great hyungs to carry this junk for you." Seokjin hummed, nodding in agreement."Ah, what a joy it is to be young.""I knew you were a grandpa.""You're the one that actually ACTS like one!""While you act like a child.""I'm young at heart!""Come on, Tae."He smiled, quickly catching up with the other two. This definitely was more home than anything else in the world. ------------------------------------------------------------ There wasn't much in this world that upset Seokjin, Taehyung found out. He was a very easy going guy who enjoyed being with friends, though he found out after some time that the older male was actually shy despite seeming so brave and confident in himself. It was still summer, students weren't due to start classes until another month so there was still hardly anyone on campus. Taehyung and Yoongi managed to get a dorm room together, while Seokjin had one to himself, the perks of being in his third year of college, which Yoongi couldn't wait for next year. The three of them were in Seokjin's dorm room, which looked just as comfy and home-like as the male was. The room was small, of course, so he couldn't own much, but the colouring was soft and he owned many Mario merchandise that made it feel more fun to be in, more exciting. There was a beanbag chair across from the bed, which Yoongi was currently melting into, as if waiting to be consumed. It was pretty ridiculous, but Taehyung always found him to be cute."Yoongi-hyung, don't fall asleep," Taehyung said in a sing song like voice, hugging a large star plush tightly. The star was the one from Mario, of course. All Yoongi did was let out a dismissive hum, eyes still shut. Seokjin let out a huff as he stood up, stretching, before walking over and lightly kicking at the beanbag with his foot. "Yah, Tae's right. Come on, let's go out and eat, I'm hungry."Yoongi swatted at Seokjin, frowning at being disturbed, but it only looked like a cute pout before he was yawning, stretching his legs from his seat. "Fine, whatever. What do you have in mind?""I know of a really good place I think you and Tae will like," Seokjin said with a smile, holding his hand out to Yoongi to help him up, which the male took and stood up with a grunt, running a hand through his hair and fluffing it up more."Fine, okay, let's go," he said, wasting no time in shuffling out the door without waiting for the other two.Seokjin let out a huff, shaking his head as he did so before turning to Taehyung, now able to see the smile on the older's face. "Has he always been like this?" he asked, but there was no why he couldn't hear the fondness in his voice, as if hoping to hear "yes, this is how he's always been".Taehyung nodded with a shrug. "Pretty much," he said."Good. Come on, I think you'll really like it." The restaurant Seokjin dragged them to was small, and easily missed if it hadn't been their destination.Yoongi had frowned and scrunched his nose when they entered, looking around. "This is it?" he asked, acting like he was hoping this was some prank and they would actually go to their real destination. But all Seokjin did was beam at them with a smile, nodding eagerly. "Yup! This is it!"Taehyung didn't want to be rude, given by just how happy and excited Seokjin seemed while sharing this with them, but he couldn't help but agree with Yoongi. It clearly had seen better days, which was now far behind the restaurant in its past. Of course he hadn't expected anywhere fancy, but Seokjin didn't seem like the type of guy to like these sort of places. He looked between the two younger males, studying their expressions, before patting them both on the shoulders. "Oh, come on you guys! I know it doesn't seem like much, but trust me, give it a while to grow on you and you'll love it.""So, kinda like kidnapping? Or brainwashing?""Yoongi, what the hell, nothing like that.""Just saying.""No, stop being mister grumpy pants and let's get food now, I'm starving after that walk here."It was hard to believe, but Seokjin had been right. It did take a moment for the place to feel like something other than a lost cause. They kept coming back to this place, even after school started back up, and after a while it started to feel like something more. Something like home. It became familiar, and it ended up being the center around some good and bad times. Like when Taehyung passed a test he had been anxious over and they went out to celebrate, or when Seokjin applied for a job that he didn't get and he needed to drink and eat his troubles away.It was something more, and Taehyung didn't really know how to put it, other than it was just special to them now, and he wouldn't want to trade it for the world, because here he was surrounded by people he loved, and people who loved him.------------------------------------------------------------ He let out a long and heavy groan, falling back onto his bed with papers and books surrounding him. He probably was on a few papers as well, but right now he could care less. "This is too hard, I hate this hyung!" Taehyung whined, lightly hitting his fists against his bed. It didn't do much other than spring back up lightly.Yoongi let out a huff, running his hand through his hair before leaning back, tossing his pencil on the desk and nodding in agreement. "At least you're only in your second year, think of how I feel."At this time, Yoongi was due to graduate this year.Seokjin had already graduated and lived in his own apartment, working and trying to find a job in acting. He worked hard, and was very determined. This only made Taehyung fall harder for the older male, but he noticed that he wasn't the only one.It was small, in the way their gazes would find each other in a room of crowded people and linger for as long as possible. In the way their touches, although small, seemed to hold so much meaning. They spoke fondly of each other, though playfully bickered constantly. Leaning on each other for support, knowing each other better than themselves now. It was easy to see just how in love Yoongi and Seokjin were.To be honest, Taehyung was jealous. He wanted someone to look at him that way, make him feel the way they must feel. It wasn't something he needed, but he wanted it, and even though he was falling hard and fast for Seokjin, had been since they met, he respected Seokjin's feelings and understood that he wanted to be with Yoongi instead.Which was understandable! Just how it was so easy to fall for Seokjin, it was just as easy to fall for Yoongi. He couldn't help but imagine how perfect they would be together, if only they found the courage to confess their feelings that have been building up all these years. Seokjin was too shy, too insecure to believe it, and Yoongi was too stubborn, couldn't think for a second someone like Seokjin would fall for him. They were idiots, really, but Taehyung loved them, and wants them to be happy."Hey, hyung," he said after a while, laying unmoving on the bed and staring blankly at the ceiling.Yoongi gave a grunt, a sign for him to continue."You should ask Seokjin-hyung out."There was a noise, and upon looking up, Taehyung saw that it had been Yoongi's pencil dropping on the desk, his hands now covering his face that was undoubtedly red. The sight made Taehyung snicker a little. His hyung was very cute, too cute for his own good."Why-Why are you suddenly bringing this up?" Yoongi stuttered, voice muffled through his hands he removed a moment later, dragging them down his face as if to wipe away the blush.Taehyung let out a hum, laying back down so he was now on his side and able to see his hyung from where he sat at the desk. "Just thinking. Don't wanna do work anymore, so my mind wandered to that.""You're mind wanders to weird places...""So why don't you do it, hyung?"The last time he had brought up dating was back in high school, when Yoongi got his heart broken again. He was scared of talking about it, knowing that Yoongi would do anything Taehyung said, and it absolutely scared him. He didn't want Yoongi's heart to get broken again, didn't want to see his hyung in pain. But Seokjin wasn't like the others.Seokjin made friends easily, and attracted a crowd due to his good looks, but he wasn't like anyone from Daegu. He didn't let his good looks get him through even if that would be the easiest thing to do, he worked hard, focused and determined to prove himself, prove that he was good enough, that he didn't take anything for granted. He made friends easily, but he was shy and knew which were good people and which were bad, hanging around the people he only wanted to be with and wasn't pressured by anything.Really, he was a blessing to have met here. Taehyung had no doubt that this man, who already gave and showed Yoongi all sorts of love, would treat his heart right.Yoongi didn't answer for a while, just sitting there and staring off into space, looking deep in thought with his lips pouted and eyebrows scrunched a little. Taehyung wasn't sure how much time had passed, not wanting to rush Yoongi with this. It was a sensitive topic, after all.He inhaled a deep breath, before slowly letting it out. "I dunno... I'm just-just scared, I guess.""Scared of what?""Of it just being the same thing, in the end...""Hyung... You know Seokjin-hyung is different. He isn't like those people, it won't happen.""I know, still doesn't make me any less scared."Taehyung understood, of course he did, but he thinks this will be good for Yoongi, maybe help him to love himself more. Maybe it'll be just as good for Seokjin too. They can help each other, even if it hurts Taehyung, he knows he'll get over it. "I think you should do it. You should ask him out."Yoongi looked at him finally, and Taehyung could see the hesitation in his eyes, but also just how much he wanted it as well. He stood up from the bed and went to the older boy, leaning on the desk as he reached out and grabbed the others hands, clasping them in between his own. He could feel how much Yoongi was shaking, how nervous he was at just the thought of it.Guilt filled him to the brink, but maybe this time it will be different.No. Not maybe. It will."Everything will be okay, hyung, I promise."Yoongi let out a shaky exhale, before nodding faintly, the movement barely there, but it brought a huge smile to Taehyung."Oh... Okay, I'll do it..." ------------------------------------------------------ He shouldn't have made a promise, Taehyung knew how much Yoongi absolutely hated them. He always had.Every time someone promised something to Yoongi, it would get ripped away from him. People would promise him forever, and they would leave. People would promise him love, and they would rip his heart out. People will promise "this time it's different", and it would end up just the same.Promises ended in nothing but pain and hurt, so Taehyung would never, ever promise anything to his hyung. However, this promise seemed to work out. Yoongi had done as Taehyung asked, and the next day Yoongi confessed. He wasn't there to see it, didn't know how it went exactly, but the way Yoongi showed up afterwards smiling so widely it showed off his gums, Taehyung knew it had gone just fine. More than just fine, actually. His heart hurt, but seeing Yoongi so happy and smiling so widely, wondering when the last time it was when Yoongi smiled like that, looked so radiant and happy, Taehyung ignored his sadness and his hurt.As the days passed, he watched Seokjin and Yoongi become happier together. Their touches didn't linger anymore, instead they reached out to each other confidently and held on tightly. They no longer gazed and looked away, instead they stared in each others eyes deeply, as if having a million conversations with just their eyes, all full of adoring words and love..It hurt. It hurt a hell of a lot. It hurt more as time passed and he started to feel left out, the three of them hanging out less as Yoongi and Seokjin hung out more. He felt lonely, so very very lonely. At least in high school, he had Yoongi, so he never felt lonely, but now he was with Seokjin and Taehyung felt like he was being forgotten. The thought terrified him, so did his mind when he was alone, so he tried making friends, more specifically through the internet.Never before did he think about meeting anyone online, always hearing and reading stories from people meeting online only for them to be killed or kidnapped or being lied to or meeting someone who was actually a criminal. Long story short, it was just absolutely terrifying, and he was better off not risking it, thank you very much. But he heard talking on campus, people he considered friends telling him about all these different apps he could use to get to know people, even get into a relationship. Well, what's the worst that could happen?Taehyung chose a random popular app, downloaded it and set up a profile. Within no time he was talking to a few people, but none of it felt right. It felt weird, not being able to see these people ever, and some of them just felt so... fake. It only made him feel worse. That is, until he met a Park Jimin.Something with him just clicked after getting to know each other. It felt like they understood each other in a way that he only felt with Yoongi.Jimin was cute, and funny, and didn't find Taehyung weird at all. In fact, he normally encourage him with anything others would find weird. He listened well to everything Taehyung told him, and Taehyung learned that Jimin was an aspiring dancer who was absolutely mesmerizing even through a screen. Some people would mistaken this for falling in love, but Taehyung didn't feel in love with Jimin. He already knew what that felt like towards Seokjin, and it still hurt, still broke him, and he constantly asked Jimin when it would stop, if he'll ever be fine, if it'll ever numb over and he could forget. The answer was never given. ------------------------------------------------------- They arrived back at Seoul, having said goodbye to Jimin and made promises to once again meet up in the near future, this time with Jungkook able to join them. From how long Jimin's and Namjoon's hug lasted from all of there's, it was probably safe to assume they crossed whatever invisible line was keeping them back. Good for them, from what Yoongi could tell, they were good for each other, and couldn't help but feel a but jealous. He pushed those feelings back.Yoongi was relieved to finally be home, dragging his things with him into his apartment before flopping down onto the bed with all the grace of a newborn bird being tossed out of its nest to fly for the first time. So basically, very very ungraceful. His time in Busan had been fun, and he was happy to have spent so much time with everyone. It was a nice break from everyone's busy schedules, other than Seokjin's and Taehyung's. It was full of smiles and laughter. His heart felt hollow and empty though. He had really been looking forward to meeting Jungkook, but understood that something urgent came up that needed his full attention.Hopefully there will be a next time.Like the hermit he is, Yoongi didn't answer anyone's texts for the next few hours. Not everyone ran on the power of the sun like Taehyung or Hoseok who never seemed to run out even in the dead of the night. Probably because they were the living embodiments of the sun itself. Unlike them, Yoongi tired from interacting easily and needed to recharge, which meant sitting at home and not talking to anyone. Luckily his friends were very understanding people and left him alone for the most part when he needed this time to recharge his energy. The excitement from the past few days was enough for him for the next month or so, and didn't expect to get any visitors until at least the morning. Didn't expect anything to happen. It was the first snowfall of the season, the puffy whiteness falling silently to the ground and coating everything in soft white, easy to kick up and blow away with the wind that blew softly every now and again. Darkness had taken over Seoul, but it continued to breathe and thrive as it always did, the lights giving everything a dream-like glow.Yoongi had just been at his computer, watching some show he randomly found on Netflix (Seokjin's), when there was a knock at the door. It surprised him enough to cause him to jump and let out a soft curse, heart picking up a few beats.Frowning, he shuffled to the door, wondering who the fuck would show up here at ass o'clock. He opened the door, about ready to tell off whoever it was, but his words caught in his throat.Standing in front of him was Taehyung, eyes red and puffy, tracks running down his cheeks that were unmistakably from tears. He was shivering, not wearing enough for this sort of weather, sniffling."Tae, what-" Yoongi said, unable to find the right words, still taking in the youngers appearance.Taehyung looked at him, but his eyes looked vacant. Like he actually wasn't looking. They were dull, with no life to them."Hyung," he said, voice rough, broken. "I was... Hoseok-hyung confessed."Yoongi blinked, not processing the words being said. "What?""Hoseok-hyung confessed to Seokjin-hyung... and he... he did too... I was too late..."

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

When Taehyung showed up out of nowhere in the middle of the night, it was safe to say that Yoongi had absolutely no idea what to do, especially since he was crying. He wasn't the best at dealing with these kinds of things, but like hell he was going to leave the boy alone, so without much thinking he grabbed onto Taehyung's arm and pulled him into his apartment, shutting the door.Taehyung was covered in snow, sticking to his clothes and his hair. He was shivering widely, face red from the cold and his fingers looked like they were taking an unnaturally shade of blue. How long was he outside for? "Shit," Yoongi cursed aloud, helping Taehyung take off his shoes. "Come on, I'll get you something warm to change into."Slowly but surely, he lead Taehyung to his bedroom, turning up the heat in the apartment a little as he passed by the thermostat. The boy was mute as Yoongi searched through his closet, pulling out a large hoodie that should fit Taehyung (it might even be one of his anyways), and a pair of sweatpants that he knew were the warmest he owned. Taehyung was just dressed in a pair of jeans and a loose sweater, which made him wonder just what happened that cause him to leave in such a hurry.Had he been at Seokjin's? Or did he run into them somewhere?Well, whatever the case, they could talk about it after he made sure the younger was warm and not about to get hypothermia. Soon enough, Taehyung was in the change of clothes and was curled in Yoongi's bed, buried under whatever blankets he owned. He was still shivering, and was still quiet, but at least now there was less of a chance of Taehyung getting hypothermia if he did everything right."Do you want some tea?" Yoongi asked, running a hand through the youngers hair, knowing that he loved it.He let out a heavy sigh, shutting his eyes. Normally, Taehyung reminded Yoongi of a hyper puppy, always smiling and laughing and never running out of energy. Right now, however, he lost all of that energy. In all the years they've known each other, he had never seen Taehyung seem so... sad, and broken. After a moment, he nodded, and Yoongi assured the boy he would return quickly.Yoongi wasn't much of a tea drinker, in fact he would inject his bloodstream full of coffee if he could with just how much he preferred it over tea, but there were times where Taehyung or Seokjin would want to drink it, so over the years he just became used to keeping a box of it in his house, though it was of just plain old green tea. He didn't know what they preferred, but neither of them ever complained. As the water was heating up, Yoongi went to go grab his phone from where he had left it before Taehyung showed up. The notification light was blinking, and opening the phone, he huffed at the amount of messages he had. There was a few from Seokjin and Hoseok, asking where Taehyung was, if he was okay, why wasn't he answering his phone. To be honest, Yoongi didn't want to answer either of them, even though this wasn't their fault. He just felt protective of Taehyung, wanted to tell them off just because they hurt him even if they didn't mean to.And then where were messages from the group chat, everyone sending messages in a frenzy.

Everything will be okay  Yoongi decided to pocket his phone then. That would explain why he had a few messages from Jungkook too, but right now his focus was Taehyung. The water for the tea was done, so he poured it into a mug with a tea bag looped around the handle and carefully carried it to the bedroom, where the younger was still curled up into a ball."Tae," he said gently when he saw that the youngers eyes were closed, but they immediately opened up when Yoongi spoke. "I have your tea. Can you sit up?"Slowly, Taehyung nodded, and with a little help from Yoongi, he was now seated, the pillows behind him helping. He took the mug from Yoongi, careful to not spill it, and cradled it in his hands, warming them up more.It was so strange to have Taehyung be so quiet. So far, the only time he spoke was when he appeared at Yoongi's door, saying something about being too late and Hoseok confessing. Really, he didn't understand what the younger meant, but he was afraid of making the younger talk, that maybe it was too soon for him to, but before Yoongi could find anything to say at all, Taehyung beat him to it."I took your advise," he said, his voice sounding so small and barely to be heard if Yoongi wasn't already seated so close. "I wanted to confess. I really, really did... So I went to his apartment. It wasn't snowing yet. It actually had only been maybe two hours after we got back to Seoul... I did what I always do, walk in without knocking. I'm an idiot for always doing that," Taehyung let out a bitter laugh, his eyes not looking anywhere but at the mug in his hands, his gaze far away. "I heard-I heard them talking, and-and I listened in, curious. I couldn't make out what they were saying for a while, but then... Then I heard Hoseok confess." Yoongi didn't have the heart to correct Taehyung in not using hyung."Holy shit hyung, he-he sounded so sure of himself, like-like he had absolutely no doubt that Seokjin-hyung would feel the same... And I... I just stood there... I heard Seokjin-hyung tell him he felt the same, and... Shit, I felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest. Hyung, I-Can you be in love with two people?"Yoongi just blinked, and didn't know how to respond to that. Being in love with two people? It wasn't unheard of, but it certainly didn't feel like something common either. There was a word for it, poly-something or other. He never cared enough to remember the word. He moved so he was now sitting next to Taehyung, wrapping his arms around the other securely. The younger put up no fight, leaning against Yoongi like he was the safest thing ever."After that," Taehyung continued, closing his eyes, "I ran out of hyung's apartment. I think they saw me because I remember them shouting my name. I didn't stop, I just kept running until I had no more energy, and after I ran out of energy, I just stayed outside and cried. I don't know how long I was out there for, but the next think I remembered was snow falling and it being dark out. This was the only place I could think of going..."He was happy that Taehyung found a source of comfort from him. Of course that knowledge wasn't knew to him, but Yoongi knew he wasn't as gentle as most, and didn't always do or say the right thing to comfort someone. He was painfully blunt, most of the time he couldn't control it, and he lacked the social skills to handle these situations. But that didn't mean he didn't care. He cared so much it hurt most days, especially when he sees Taehyung, who is the closest thing to family he has, so upset and heartbroken. It breaks his own heart, and he wishes for nothing more than to take his pain away.Yoongi presses a light kiss to his temple, rubbing Taehyung's arm in a soothing manner. He didn't know what to say, but the sigh that came from the younger let Yoongi know he was doing something right. It sounded content, just a little less broken. They sat in silence as Taehyung sipped at the tea every now and again. There wasn't much to be said, nothing could really be said at the moment, it wasn't a problem they could fix with a plan or some talking. It was a bit surprising to Yoongi to hear that Taehyung also had feelings for Hoseok, but then again it made a lot of sense. The two were very alike, they were both so bright and they enjoyed playing around with each other. In fact, he was sort of glad for it, because anyone else might have resented Hoseok after figuring out they shared feelings for the same person. He just really wanted something good to come out of this, something that will make Taehyung happy, because he deserved happiness. After a while, Taehyung admitted to being tired and wanted to sleep. He had asked Yoongi if he was going to stay with him, but Yoongi told him no, that he had something he needed to do as he took the mug away and helped Taehyung to lay down and get comfortable. He assured the younger that he'll join him in the bed later, and to just get some sleep. Leaving the room, he shut off the light and left the door open a crack,  just so he could listen if Taehyung were to call for him.Now to tend to the damage....

Thank you, hyung  Before Yoongi could write anything more, his phone started buzzing in his hands. A bunny smile, a cute face, sparkling eyes. It was Jungkook."Hey," he said into the device, letting out a small sigh."Hyung, thank god," Jungkook said, sounding relieved. "I've been trying to get a hold of you and Taehyung, but neither of you were answering. I was getting worried...""Ah, sorry Kook-ah, I didn't mean to worry you.""It's fine, but is he okay? Is he safe?""Yeah, Tae is currently asleep in my bed, I've been with him for a while now.""What happened, hyung?"Yoongi didn't right away speak. Was it really his place to tell Jungkook about what happened? It was between Seokjin, Hoseok and Taehyung. If they wanted to tell the others about it, then it should be them telling them, but Jungkook always gave Yoongi a sense of comfort in the months that they've known each other. He sighed. "Taehyung had is heart broken..."There was a gasp from the other end. "What? What happened?""I don't really know if I should be telling you, but he overheard Seokjin-hyung and Hoseok confess to each other.""Holy shit, that's... That must have really hurt him.""Yeah, it did. He showed up at my apartment looking like he cried his eyes out."Neither of them said anything for a moment, Jungkook taking in the information. It was quite a bit to throw onto someone at once. Yoongi adjusted himself on the chair in front of his desk, giving a sigh."I'm sorry," Jungkook said, his voice soft and almost a whisper.Yoongi frowned. "What for?""For... I basically broke your heart earlier, didn't I?"In a way, he had. Yoongi had felt like his heart was being twisted and ripped right out of his chest. He had cried, but now Yoongi felt fine, he understood why Jungkook did that, what his reasoning was, and he didn't blame the younger at all. "You couldn't control that, your mom was sent to the hospital."Something in the air shifted. It suddenly felt heavier and made Yoongi feel like he was waiting for something, but he didn't know what. His heart was pounding, and he wasn't sure if he wanted this feeling to last, or if he wanted it to stop."Hyung," Jungkook said in that whispered voice again."Yeah?""I..." He took a deep breath. "I wanted to tell you this when we met in person, but I... With what just happened with Taehyung, I don't... I don't want that happening to you. I don't want to make you cry again. I don't want to break your heart, so..." Jungkook took another deep breath, and Yoongi felt like he was on edge, about to jump off a cliff and plunge into the sea."These past few months talking to you, and getting to know you, I... I realized something. I've never felt this comfortable with someone, never felt this happy. I'm not really sure how to put this, and if-if you don't like it, if it makes you uncomfortable, you can tell me no, but... Hyung, I... I really, really like you. A lot. And I-I understand if you don't want a relationship with me, because I've heard long distance relationships are hard, but I would really... I really want to give it a try with you, hyung."And there it was, the plunge into the water, but this one was nice. Yoongi's heart was pounding, but it wasn't in a bad way, it didn't make him feel like he was drowning, it made him feel like he was floating, calm and warm and safe. His chest felt tight, but it was in happiness this time. Happiness he didn't even know he would feel from hearing these words. He didn't realize just how badly he wanted to hear this, how much they mean, how much Jungkook means to him.He knew it would be hard, he knew it would require a lot of work, but for Jungkook, anything was worth it.With a deep breath, he said what would make everything real, everything sure. "I... I like you too, Kook. And, I would really like that."Yoongi could only image the look on Jungkook's face, and it made him smile.  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  He woke up the next morning feeling like he had been hit by a fucking truck. All Yoongi wanted to do was fall back asleep, sleep for a few more hours, say fuck you to the world because he was not ready to deal with its bullshit, no thank you.Just as he was about to go back to sleep, he heard a sniffle next to him that caused his eyes to fly open immediately and all the memories of last night rushed back to him. About Taehyung showing up to his apartment, crying, and taking care of him until the younger had fallen asleep in his bed, then his talk with Jungkook and -holyshit that really fucking happened- then crawling into his bed beside Taehyung, having stayed up longer than he had originally planned.Yoongi slowly sat up and found Taehyung curled into a ball, facing away from the older man. He was shaking lightly, and he heard a sharp intake of breath from what sounded like a sob. As gently as he could, to not startle the younger, Yoongi wrapped an arm around him, causing the man to freeze for a moment before he loosened up."It's okay, Tae," he whispered, his own voice rough from sleep, rougher than normal. He pulled Taehyung closer as the younger flipped around so he was facing the older man now. Taehyung buried his face in Yoongi's neck, his hands gripping at the bedsheets. Yoongi rubbed his back soothingly, letting the sobs tumble out of Taehyung and holding him through them. How long had he been up like this? How long had he been crying? "Why didn't you wake me up, Tae?" Yoongi asked, his face buried in the youngers hair, which smelled like strawberries."Didn't wanna wake-wake you up," Taehyung said, his voice shaking and sounding so uneven. "Didn't wanna worry you...""Don't be stupid, I'm gonna worry no matter what because I care about you."Another sob rolled out of the younger and they didn't talk for a while more, not until the tears in Taehyung's eyes dried out and his sobbing silenced. Only then did Yoongi kiss his forehead and asked what he wanted for breakfast. Taehyung says he wants pancakes. Yoongi is going to make the best damn pancakes, even if it kills him.He left the warmth and comfort of his bed while Taehyung stayed for a while more, curled up deep within the many blankets. The windows let in grey light from the cloud covered sky, snowflakes continuing to fall down. It won't be much longer until Christmas and New Years now, and Yoongi had no idea what he would do for those holidays, nor what anyone else had planned. Some years, when they were all free, him, Taehyung and Seokjin would stay at one of their apartments and drink their weight in alcohol until they passed out. Jimin couldn't make it up to Seoul in the past years, but he would be sure to wish them a happy holidays. This year, they now had Hoseok, Namjoon and Jungkook, so it was a bit confusing what they would do, if they would do anything.Yoongi assumed they more than likely would, at least with Hoseok and Namjoon now if the Busan boys couldn't make it. But then there was the question of what would happen if Taehyung was still heartbroken by then?Too many questions, and they all were for another time. Right now, Yoongi was just trying to focus on making pancakes, staring at them intently as they cooked (it was a surprise he even had pancake batter to use), when his phone suddenly buzzed in his pocket. With a frown, he took it out and instantly his heart skipped a beat.Jungkook.Memories of last night came back to him, of their confession. Did that make them boyfriends now? They really didn't clarify what their relationship was before getting off the phone, but they now understood their feelings for one another. Opening the message, his face went red.
Kookie
Good morning hyung<3Hope you slept well How the absolute fuck did just adding a heart into his text make Yoongi feel so nervous? His heart was threatening to leap out of his chest, and Yoongi could't stop the smile that stretched across his lips."Holy shit, you and Kook a thing now?"Yoongi jumped and cursed with absolutely no grace, almost dropping his phone and running into the stove, but he was able to catch himself before either of these things happen. Whipping around, Taehyung was holding back a laugh, a hand over his mouth. "Stop sneaking up on me! And stop reading over my goddamn shoulder!""I can't help it though hyung! You're just the perfect height for me to look over your shoulder, you're so small.""You can make fun of Jimin about his height, but not me, you brat."Taehyung laughed, taking a seat on the counter while Yoongi typed out a quick message to Jungkook and pocketed his phone. The only noise between them now was the soft sizzling noises the pancakes would make. So far, none of them had gotten burnt, so Yoongi figured he was doing pretty good, feeling proud of himself. He wasn't bad at cooking, not really, but he certainly wasn't the best. The best was Seokjin, who seemed like he could make anything and everything without breaking a sweat. It was Taehyung who finally broke the silence, stealing a pancake off the plate. "So, when did you and Jungkook happen?"Yoongi's mind went reeling for a moment, unsure of how Jungkook would feel about him saying anything to the others without talking it over first. Well, he had already seen the message anyways, so there was no denying it. "Last night, actually.""Shit, really?""Yeah, some time after you went to sleep.""That's what I get for going to sleep early, isn't it? I knew I should've stayed up."It was a little odd that Taehyung was smiling, laughing, joking around, when not even half an hour ago Yoongi had been holding him while he sobbed. But it probably was him coping with it, probably didn't want to dwell on it. Seeing Taehyung heartbroken wasn't something Yoongi was used to, in fact he didn't think the younger had ever been this upset, so they both probably didn't know how to handle it.They were talking about anything and nothing at all, as long as it wasn't about what happened, eating pancakes off of the plate without bothering to use any syrup or butter or even a fork to pick it up. It was a strange way of eating them, but it made it so Yoongi didn't have to do many dishes so he didn't complain. After they got done eating, Jungkook had the fantastic idea of doing a video call. Taehyung seemed excited at the idea, and eventually into the call he ended up taking Yoongi's phone and just started talking to Jungkook without him. He was fine with it anyways, he was smiling and laughing with the younger and keeping distracted, so he was content with it, he could always talk to Jungkook later anyways. It was nice to see the two younger boys talking. Taehyung was so used to being the youngest in their friend group, and even though their age difference wasn't much, he was a great hyung to Jungkook so far. They got along very well, and bonded quickly when they first started talking."Oh yeah," Taehyung suddenly exclaimed in the middle of the conversation, sprawled out on his stomach on Yoongi's bed, the phone in front of him. "Kookie!""Yeah hyung?""You and hyung are a thing now, right?!"Yoongi coughed at the suddenness of the topic, pretty violently to the point he was almost falling out of the chair in front of his computer. Actually, he was more surprised that Taehyung hadn't asked about it right away, he was just nosy like that, but Yoongi figured it had to do with his current situation. He understood if Taehyung didn't want to talk about that sort of thing right now.Jungkook made a noise through the phone, causing Taehyung to burst out laughing. "Holy shit!" Taehyung wheezed, hitting his legs against the bed in amusement. "You two look like fucking tomatoes! Look look!" He grabbed the phone and tried to turn the camera around to show Yoongi, but the elder was having none of it."Yah! Don't show me, you fucking brat!" he shouted, trying to swat the phone away (without actually breaking it because it's still his phone and he can't afford to get a new one, Taehyung had no respect for others people's possessions), covering his face at the same time. It was embarrassing, and he didn't want Jungkook to see him red faced just at the simple question. The youngest laughed, watching the struggle and bickering happen and unable to stop it."Aw, come on hyung! If you're a thing now you godda show him how cute you look all flustered!""Taehyung I will fucking kick you out of my goddamn house! Stop with the phone!""Come ooooon hyung! Kookie wants to see your cute face!""I don't give a fuck!""Kookie you want to see hyungs cute blushy face right? Right right?""Ah, I'll go along with whatever Yoongi-hyung wants, since he's kinda my boyfriend now."Taehyung let out a whine at this and pouted, turning the camera to face himself. "You're no fun Kook- OH HOLY SHIT I THINK HYUNG IS ABOUT TO FUCKING EXPLODE!"This time he managed to get Yoongi into the shot, and his face was a bright red with wide eyes.Boyfriend.Jungkook and just called him his fucking boyfriend. His boyfriend.Holy shit Jungkook is his fucking boyfriend.Jungkook is his boyfriend. He's Jungkook's boyfriend.Fuck.Yoongi couldn't even hear Taehyung's howling laughter, resulting in the man to fall over and bring the phone with him. Maybe it was pathetic that Yoongi was left in a blushing, frozen mess just at that one small word, when there are so many words that will come out in the future that will make his heart race just the same, but right now this one small word holds so much meaning to him.("Hyung you're fucking whipped." "Shut the fuck up Taehyung you're still in my house I can kick you out." Yoongi never would.)  --------------------------------------------------------------- Taehyung spent a few days at Yoongi's place, with his phone dead and forgotten.During the day, the boy was chatty and bubbly, one would think there was nothing wrong with him, but it was the small things that Yoongi caught that told him Taehyung was hurting. His smile didn't stretch as wide, and it never went boxy. His eyes didn't shine like they used to, they were dull, and Taehyung didn't have as much energy, he got tired easily and would prefer to sit and do nothing than to run around the house. After the sun set, and the world was encased in darkness, is when he was no longer able to at least pretend he was okay.Night after night now, Yoongi has held Taehyung tightly as the younger sobbed until exhaustion hit him and he passed out.It was absolutely heartbreaking to see Taehyung, the closest and only thing to family he has, be torn apart like this, and it took all of Yoongi's self control not to go punch Hoseok or Seokjin, or even both of them.Logically, he knew it wasn't their fault. He couldn't tell them who they could and couldn't love, and if they decided that they couldn't love and be with Taehyung, then there was nothing any of them could do. And it wouldn't be fair to them to guilt them over it either. All that could be done was for Yoongi to hold Taehyung until his heart healed. But holy shit, was Yoongi pissed. He was being petty by not answering Seokjin or Hoseok. He knew that. They called or messaged him every day so far, asking how Taehyung was, where he was, if he was okay, and if they could talk to him. After two days of it, Yoongi finally stopped talking to them, he stopped taking their calls, stopped responding to the messages. He even stopped replying to their group chat because they would ask through there.Occassionally he would get a message from Namjoon, asking how Taehyung was doing. Knowing that Hoseok was his roommate, Yoongi didn't give him much answers. It was the same with Jimin.Overall, he stopped talking to everyone but Jungkook.Maybe it wasn't right of him to do something like this. He was hurting others more than likely. Maybe even making the situation more worse than it was, but for every night he had to watch Taehyung break down, crying and shaking and asking why he isn't good enough, Yoongi cares less about everyone else.To hell with them, Taehyung was one of the most important people in his life. He watched and helped him grow. They went through hell together. He wasn't about to leave him alone with this.So it shouldn't have been surprising when one day, six days after, there was a knock at his door. It was in the middle of the day, the sun hidden behind a flurry of snow piling higher and higher on the ground. Taehyung was currently asleep in Yoongi's bed, exhausted from so many nights of crying until late.It was odd that someone was at his apartment, hardly getting any visitors unless it was work related, and even then he was contacted through email or call before someone were to show up at his place. He was lucky that he was able to work from home in order to be there for Taehyung. Opening the door, Yoongi instantly felt his blood boil a little."Yoongichi," Seokjin said, standing there, covered in snowflakes and looking worse than the last time he had seen him, "I-I really need to speak to Taehyung."He should let the older man in. He knew the rational thing to do was to hear Seokjin out. Yoongi knew best than anyone that this entire situation was eating him alive, Seokjin was kind and selfless and always cared for others. He was far too kind for his own good. But he found himself gripping the door tighter, scowling. "You really think I'll let you do that?" he spat before he could stop himself, before he could think over what to do, what had to be done."This really isn't your choice to make," Seokjin said, his voice sounding just a bit angry but moreover desperate."No, but I've been watching him fall apart, and I really think you demanding anything of him will only make things so much worse."Seokjin huffed in frustration, obviously losing his patience, which was so rare for him to do. It almost made Yoongi back down and let him do what he wanted. Almost. "And I can help him, I can try to fix this, if you just fucking move over and let me see him!""I don't know where he is.""That's bullshit, Yoongi, and we both know it. I've known the both of you long enough to know how this works."Yoongi couldn't help the bitter scoff, shaking his head. "If you knew us, then maybe you could have avoided this in the first place.""Damn it-Just-I'm older than you! So listen to me and fucking move!""This is my goddamn apartment, I don't have to do shit!"Seokjin opened his mouth, his face reddening in anger, something Yoongi had never truly seen, before his face dropped just as quickly. He breathed heavily, staring at something behind Yoongi with wide eyes. Turning around, he felt his stomach drop. Shit.Taehyung stood there, looking back and forth between the two with a confused expression, looking so confused and so hurt. "Hyung?" he called out, his voice so small and broken. Now that he thought about it, they both looked terrible, maybe just as equally so. "What are... What're you doing here?"Tension formed between the three of them, so thick it could be cut with a dull knife. Damn, how did they reach this point? Never once had Yoongi and Seokjin started yelling at each other, hardly raising their voices unless it was in playfulness. Even when dating, they never fought, always worked out their issues together. Now they were refusing to listen to each other, and Taehyung was caught in the middle of it all.Seokjin's shoulders sagged, but it didn't seem to be of relief, taking a few moments to catch his breath as if he had just been running a marathon. "Tae," his voice was just above a whisper, calling out to the youngest. "I-I know you really don't want to see me-""-Hyung, that's not-""-but I really need to talk to you... Privately... Can you... Can you please come with me?" Seokjin's eyes flickered between the two of them hesitantly, looking so unsure with all confidence drained from him.Silence filled the place as Taehyung stood there like a deer caught in headlights. He didn't know what to say, what to do, this mind was reeling and going a smile a minute. Yoongi sort of hoped he would say no, but eventually Taehyung nodded. "Okay... Okay, hyung, I'll go."The youngest went to get changed, leaving the two eldest to stand there in silence with the front door still wide open. They didn't say anything, didn't even look at each other. Yoongi didn't even understand what he was feeling right now, not quite anger but not relief either. The only thing he understood was that if Seokjin made Taehyung cry more, break his heart any more, he really won't be able to stop himself from punching the other. Before anything could happen, Taehyung showed up, changed in a clean pair of clothes and had fixed his hair a little. He hugged Yoongi tightly before leaving with Seokjin, saying that he'll make sure to text him once his phone is charged. The door closed, and Yoongi was let alone in his apartment.Damn, he hoped that everything will work out for them...

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Yoongi was restless. He was fuming. He paced back and forth, unable to sit still for very long due to nerves. It had been a few hours now, and Taehyung still hasn't gotten in contact with him. It was making him worried, and it was making him imagine the worst, even though none of the possibilities his mind was coming up with were true. Seokjin wouldn't do that to Taehyung, even if his feelings about the younger weren't romantic he still cared deeply for him.During all of this, Jungkook watched silently through the video feed. It was odd because not once so far has he told Yoongi he needs to calm down, he hasn't complained and he hasn't made any sort of move to indicate that he was annoyed or anything with his behavior and just watching. In a way, Yoongi was thankful for that. Never before has his partners been this understanding (maybe except Seokjin, but even then they thought and reacted differently to situations), so it was refreshing and he was grateful for it.But Jungkook also knew when enough was enough, and it was time for him to relax. "Hyung," he spoke up, his voice slightly distorted through the speakers and through the screen. Yoongi still wondered how his voice would sound without the interference, since with it his voice was already angelic sounding. Will his heart be able to handle it?"Hyung," Jungkook called again. Crap, he had been distracted by gay thoughts.Yoongi gave a hum in questioning, letting the other know he had his attention."You should really stop pacing around," there was a slight tone of amusement in his voice, but there was also worry."I can't, I'm too worried.""I'm sure Taehyung can take care of himself just fine.""He can, but-""And you know Jin-hyung wouldn't want to upset him even more."He knew that was true, it was obvious the older man was already beating himself up over the situation when they met at his door not too long ago. However, intentionally or not, he could still hurt Taehyung, he could still upset him even more, and that was the last thing Yoongi wanted to see.He gave a heavy sigh, dropping down into his chair, slouching down in it so he could just barely be seen on the screen. "I know, Kook, but I can't help but worry. He was a complete mess, I've never seen him like that before. It's even worse that both of his crushes are dating each other."Jungkook snorted a bit before nodding, simply because of just how odd the situation was in a way. "He'll be fine, everything will work out, hyung.""How do you know that?""I just do. Now you really do need to loosen up some, it's not gonna be the end of the world.""And how do you suppose I do that?""Hmm," the younger seemed to be in thought for a moment, but it was easy to tell it was an act which caused Yoongi's eyebrows to shoot up in questioning. "Well, I do know that Jimin isn't here at the moment.""Aren't you supposed to be calling him hyung?" Yoongi couldn't stop the smile that took over his face. Damn, this kid was too good with his heart."What he doesn't know won't kill me, besides he's so freaking short.""I'm telling him you said that.""No you won't.""You're right, I won't."Jungkook cleared his throat, shaking his head in good nature with that beautiful bunny smile of his stretched across his face. "Anyways, back on topic, you've been too stressed lately, you need to let off some steam.""I'd love to hear your ideas, Kook-ah."Turns out his idea was a very good one, though there was much embarrassment on both ends.In short, Yoongi definitely feels less stressed, and has made it his new life mission to hear Jungkook's moans in person, even if it kills him. (Which it probably will just because of his beautiful and sinful the sound is.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  mylifesinjambles changed the group name to Kook is a fucking idiot

Yoongi's phone had gone off and he instantly dived for it, knowing that it wasn't Jungkook already since the boy had said just a few hours before that he was tired and going to sleep.

Yoongi
Goodnight, TaeTae  He placed his phone back down and let out a heavy sigh. It felt like a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders, letting him breathe easy again.Yoongi was glad for them, he really, truly was, even if he was one step away from killing Seokjin and Hoseok earlier, but can he really be blamed? His best friend had his heart broken, of course he would try and do whatever he could to protect him. Well, he probably wouldn't resort to murder, but the offer was always there in case something did happen to Taehyung and he had to, or the younger told him toOf course Taehyung would never tell him to though, he was too nice for that.Honestly, Yoongi was really happy for them all, and wished them the best.
