14 years ago.....

“Eomma?...” A little voice whispers from the entrance of the living room. The young woman, his mother, was sat on the worn out couch in front of their old tv. There were multiple empty bottles left out on the old coffee table from earlier that same day. “Yes darling?” She said, turning to look at him, voice a bit raspy. “What’s wrong sweetheart? Can’t sleep again?...” The boy nodded running up to her. His mother took him into her arms before standing up, walking over to their piano and sitting with him on her lap. The woman began to play, the song was slow but beautiful and peaceful, her son’s favourite. The boy curled up in his mother’s lap, head against her chest, listening to her steady heart beat. This is what they did anytime he couldn’t sleep. “Eomma will I be as good as you one day?” He asked tiredly, allowing the song to lull him to sleep. He’s always wanted to be just like her, just as amazing on the piano. “Of course darling.” She said with a smile, her voice gentle as always. “You’ll be so amazing Yoongi, everyone will love you. You’ll play beautiful songs and make others happy. You’ll have a great life and lots friends.” “And I’ll have you, right Eomma?...” She hesitated. But she recovered quickly. “And me…I’ll always be with you, I promise….”  She stopped playing, kissing his forehead and running her hands through he dark hair. “Rest now..” She whispered. Yoongi yawned, letting his heavy eyelids finally close, allowing his mother’s scent of roses to pull him into a deep sleep. “I love you Eomma…” “I love you too Yoongi…so much”

I love you…

Oh how wrong his mother had been.
Not completely anyway. Yoongi was beyond fantastic, he was an amazing piano player. Even better than his mother. But he could never make anyone smile, nobody besides his two hyung’s as far as he knew. God no. They were afraid of him Yoongi was 19 now, an Alpha, senior in high school finishing up his final year. School wasn’t that bad for him, other than the fact that people avoided him like he was the plague. He ignored it for the most part, just a bunch of kids being stupid, nothing new. They all judged him, scared or intimidated because of how he looked. Multiple piercings, blonde hair, bandanna around his forehead and tattoos along his arm.
A ”bad boy”

Their stereotypical vision

Yoongi thought it was silly how people were judged, how people would avoid him rather than get to know him, but it was fine. He’d gotten used to being alone and now was no different. That wasn’t his issue, it was the things they said that bothered him. “He’s a bad boy, always smoking and taking girls home”, “I heard he takes anyone who throws themselves at him, gross.”, “A whore just like his mother probably was.”  He always just walked away, fighting wasn’t worth it. He continued his walk down the school halls before arriving at the music room. It was like a second home, the only place he felt at peace when he was at school. He had started coming here everyday at lunch for the last 2 years once he realized they kept the room open for students to use. Yoongi spent his lunch hours everyday playing the piano and learning new songs. This is where he was happiest. Yoongi let out a heavy sigh, walking to the piano and dropping his bag before sitting down. Memories of his mother always flown threw his head whenever he was here.
She broke her promise.

“Hoseokie-Hyuuuung! They’ll never leave me alone if you always follow me around like some guard dog. I’m fine hyung I promise, don’t you have to go meet Tae? I’ll be fine I promise” “Ah I hate when you whine like that…” The boy, Hoseok, grumbled. “You know I’m just looking after you Jimin-Ah. Seniors shouldn’t even be bothering a freshman.” Jimin sighed as he looked up at his best friend. Hoseok was a tall, slim yet fit boy. Rocking a full head of bright orange hair, Hoseok’s smile often brighter than the sun itself.
The sunshine in Jimin’s life
When Jimin had first come to this school he and Hoseok had clicked right away. The older boy was always so kind and friendly, constantly bursting with energy. They’d only met at the beginning of this year but had quickly become the best of friends, the older boy protective over him. It made Jimin happy but sometimes he felt his friend was a bit too much. But he knew his friend meant well. Jimin himself was much smaller than Hoseok, shorter in height and more vulnerable to bullies in the school. Presenting as an omega only earlier the same year hadn’t helped. He was often picked on for being girly, his hair a soft pink and his clothing always 2 sizes larger, his small fingers often hiding in his sleeves. Jimin had never been a fighter, always a sweet boy who respected everyone and showed great responsibility when it came to school. Grades high and work always done on time, one of the top students in his grade.
But far from perfect

They walked through the halls together, Hoseok’s arm draped over Jimin’s shoulders. “I promise I’m fine ok hyung? Just trust me. If anything happens I’ll just call you ok? Nobody’s gonna bother me in the library I’m just studying.” He swept his hair back and away from his eyes. “You know how Tae gets when you get him waiting.” Hoseok looked him straight in the eye for a long few seconds before he sighed heavily, removing his arm. “Alright alright I’m going. Just be careful alright? I just care about you that’s all.”

Jimin rolled his eyes, smiling. “Yeah I know you say it everyday. Now go” Jimin giggled before walking off in a different direction. “Have fun hyung!” He said, leaving before the boy kept him back any longer.

Jimin continued his walk down the hall, ready to prepare for another one of his many tests, very important for his grades.
Oh?

His steps slowed before he came to a complete stop just outside a room, poking his head in a bit to see inside. The sound of pretty song filling his ears. Beautiful…He thought. Jimin’s heard a lot of music, especially at this school. There were so many talented students. But this? This was amazing. He looked in further to see who was playing- Jimin had to do a double take. Blonde hair, bandana, and ears with multiple piercings holding pretty earrings.
Min Yoongi???
Shocked would be a bit of an understatement for how Jimin felt. He’d heard about the alpha many times before, everyone had. Of course they were all just rumours and not many people have actually proven them true. But this was still unexpected, seeing the alpha play the piano. The song he was playing was music to his ears, filling him many with different emotions. It almost sounded sad. “Wow…” The omega breathed out.
Wait-

The music stopped abruptly, the alpha turning to look at the doorway. Jimin squeaked before speeding off in the direction of the library, not trying to stick around any longer. Yoongi clicked his tongue, only catching a glimpse of the boys fleeing figure before turning away and continue his song. Even when he was alone in the music room he was always being followed and watched.
Always..
Jimin didn’t study today. He spent the rest of the day lost in thought, quiet on the walk home with his friends. They’d questioned him a bit wondering if something was wrong since he was quieter than usual and his scent anxious. The omega had just brushed it off, told them he was just worried about passing his upcoming test before giving them a quick goodbye and letting Taehyung wrap him into a warm hug before stepping inside his home.
Oh how Jimin hated being home.
If he were asked what he hated most in the world then being home would be one of those answers. He hated walking through the door just to run up the stairs and instantly lock himself up in his room, never leaving unless he needed food or to use the bathroom. Hated how whenever his parents were within a few feet of each other there was just endless arguing, yelling, screaming, the sound of glass being broken. It was scary. Luckily his parents weren’t home. They had stopped supporting him at some point, neglected him, and seemed to have even forgotten he was there. That’s when Jimin realized he’d have to care for himself, wouldn’t have a mom and dad to help him when he needed them most. Especially that one day… Jimin let out a heavy sigh as he walked into his room, dropping his bag next to his desk. He needed to clear his mind, and he only knew one way to do that. He pulled out his phone to check the time.
7:45pm

He had spent some time out with Hoseok and Taehyung before coming home, so it was late enough to go out to the club again. Jimin was young sure, only just turned 17 and presenting as an Omega not too long before. But he knew his way around things. Knew how to get what he needed. Jimin got himself ready. His pink hair was properly straightened and brushed back, revealing his forehead. He dressed himself in a thin white v-neck, tucked into his black denim jeans and finished off with his black leather jacket. He completed his look with smoky red eyeshadow and his favourite sparkly lip gloss. His look was simple yet sensual. Jimin grabbed his clutch before heading downstairs and out the door, not wasting any time getting to the club. He’d need to flirt with the bouncer to get in ahead of the line. But that’s the easy part. Jimin slipped pass the long line of people as he headed towards the entrance of the club. Jimin was a pretty omega, and as such, was used to having things go his way. He could get anything he wanted at times like these without much effort. He ignored the complaints as he made his way up to the bouncer, his lips curled into a soft smile, batting his long lashes. “I’d like to get inside.” He said, confidence radiating off of him. It was so easy to flirt his way into places like this, acting like he was just another person here to party. His beautiful scent of honey and blossoms just as helpful. Flirting was a simple task, just like it was to pretend his life was perfect, like something wasn’t wrong. The bouncer, an alpha, was tall and buffed up, muscles clenching and scent almost overwhelming. He could see how others could be intimidated. The man visibly scanned the omega’s body, taking in his sweet honey-like scent before chuckling and looking him straight in the eye. The boy clearly didn’t have any ID but the bouncer wasn’t about to complain. “Oh I’m sure you do omega…” He said with a smirk. “But what’ll you do for me?”  Jimin smirked as well because it was the same as always. They always looked for a profit but he didn’t mind at all, knew it was all he was good for. “You’ll find out” He said as he licked his lips provocatively. He leaned forward, lips brushing against the man’s ear and a hand running up his chest to slide a piece of a paper with his number on it into his pocket. “But only if you promise to let me in…” He could smell the arousal on the man and deep down that scared him, reminded him of whathappened….Jimin smiled as the bouncer stepped aside to let him walk in, could feel his eyes on him as he continued inside. It’s just what had to be done, the only way to get into the one place where he could relax and forget everything. Besides he was an omega, small and pretty. To lots of alphas, he was only good for bending over and just taking it. Maybe they were right. Jimin sighed heavily and shook his head free of his thoughts. He wasn’t here to think about that, he was here to let loose and help himself feel better. Forget everything existed.   One drink wasn’t enough. One became two, two became 4. 3 hours into the night and Jimin was more than just tipsy. He was a giggly mess, no real reason for his laughter as he leaned against the counter, but he was cut short when the music stopped. He turned his seat to see what was happening on the stage not too far away. His eyes focused on the boy that was standing on stage– Wind swept hair and a bandana wrapped around his forehead, large hoodie and ripped jeans. He grabbed the microphone, wordless, and as soon as the music started playing, his tongue unwrapped.Jimin tried to mind his own business and dedicate his time to the drink he was downing just before but he couldn't. The aura the man brought was too enticing - luring him in. Jimin stood from his seat, listening to the strong words and the beat in the background. His hips began moving involuntarily – he didn’t expect his body to react to the music so eagerly – and he swayed his sides to the the fast rhythm. The rapper on stage caught sight of him for a moment as he performed, a small smirk playing at his lips seeing Jimin dance.  He sang about life, love, hardships and his song carried rather depressing tinge but the energetic vibes it gave off made Jimin's heart quiver. It was brilliant. Jimin then felt the hands of another man on his hips, firm grip pulling him back to grind against him. He tried to ignore it, hoping he’d just go away.
The man went further

His lips began brushing against his neck as his scent attacked Jimin’s nostrils. Warm breath left behind a hot trail as one of the man’s hand’s found it’s way up Jimin’s shirt. The stranger removed his hand from Jimin’s hip to rub his ass, giving it a few squeezes. Jimin ignored the small tinge of fear in his chest, swallowing down hard and allowing the man to continue. The rapper on stage let his eyes wander to where Jimin was again, the smirk on his face falling once he did. The boy who was happily dancing only a moment ago now stood there silently, face showing his discomfort as the man behind him, an alpha, continued to do as he pleased.
Disgusting.

The boy stopped rapping and tossed the mic to the floor. He ignored the small complaints from the crowd as he made his way over to Jimin. The blonde pulled the younger away before grabbing the older alpha by his collar and pushing him up against the wall. “Listen closely because I’m not going to say this again.” He growled into the man’s ear. “Fuck off and don’t touch him again, you understand?” Yoongi may have been younger but he was much more intimidating. And by the looks of it the other man wasn’t ready for a fight in his drunken state.   The man swallowed hard but quickly got the message, nodding his head and quickly running off once the blonde let him go. Jimin turned to look at the boy now in front of him, getting a much better look. ‘He looks so familiar…’ the younger thought to himself, but his mind was far too hazy to bother remembering right now.

Yoongi huffed before he turned back to the smaller boy next to him. “Are you alright? He didn’t hurt you or anything?” Jimin didn’t answer right away, the two of them staring at each other for a few moments before the younger broke out into another fit of laughter and giggles. He latched himself onto the older boy. Wrapping his arms around him and shoving his face into his neck, the giggling never stopping. “My hero!” He shouted in between his giggles. “Ya saved me from the big bad alpha!” Yoongi put his hands just above Jimin’s waist to gently pull him off, only for the boy to tighten his grip on him.He sighed and grabbed the boy arm, pulling him outside of the club. He sighed and looked around, hoping nobody was focused on them before returning his attention to the boy in his arms. “Where do you live? I’ll call you a cab so you can get home.” Jimin only broke out into another fit of giggles, rubbing his face right into the scent glands. A groan of frustration left Yoongi’s lips. Jimin was clearly drunk out of his mind but Yoongi wasn’t the type to just leave people like this alone. Especially after what he had witnessed just moments ago. He sighed once more and helped Jimin stand up straight, the boy refusing to let go as he walked out of the club with him.
He’d just have to take him home for the night.

Yoongi stumbled through the front door with Jimin latched onto him like a koala bear. The boy was still scenting him, probably not even aware of what he was doing. The noise caught the attention of a couple on the couch, cuddling and slurping on ramen before turning to the door. The trio stared each other down before Yoongi finally spoke. “Don’t ask right now.…” “Oh don’t worry, we weren’t going to.” One of them replied before the couple turned away. Yoongi made sure to grab a few bottles of water from the kitchen before taking Jimin up to his room. He brought the boy  into his bathroom, sitting him on the toilet and running some bath water for him. Once the bath was filled and the water warm enough to bathe in he walked out, finally getting him to let go. Yoongi may not know this boy but he was still a gentlemen. “I won’t look, you can get in.” Jimin, still quite drunk, sat and stared for a few moments before doing as he was told. Removing his clothing and stepping into the warm soapy water, he leaned back against the tub and quickly relaxed. He let his head rest against the edge of the tub while the warm water helped clear his hazy mind a bit. His fit of giggles finally ceasing. Yoongi let him stay in there for a bit, taking the time to change his clothes and grab some for the younger to change in to. He left the clothes and a clean towel on the counter for him, leaving once more so that Jimin could change. Jimin called out for him once he was dry and changed, still unsteady on his feet. Yoongi helped him back into the bedroom and into his bed, making sure he was comfortable and then pulled the blanket over him. He sighed and sat at the edge of the bed, staring down at Jimin. Now having time to look at him, Yoongi could see that he was definitely younger than him if not the same age. “Are you tired?..” Jimin nods softly, face still flushed and eyes a bit glazed over. Yoongi nodded his head, running a hand through his hair. “Well you can sleep here tonight, if you need me I’ll be-” He was interrupted by a smaller hand grabbing his wrist, gently pulling him back. “Don’t gooo...” Jimin said softly, his eyes staring up into Yoongi’s. Yoongi looked at him for a moment, he wanted to say no. After, all they don’t even know each other. Jimin was still just some drunk kid he helped in a club.
But then he looked into his eyes.

He couldn’t deny the boy what he wanted, the innocent look in his eyes and his sweet scent making him feel weak. So he nodded his head and went to the other side of the bed, laying on his back and staring up at the ceiling. Jimin was facing him, eyes closed but still holding onto to his wrist. Yoongi let out a deep, long breath before allowing his eyes to shut as well. He’d question the boy in the morning.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Jimin awoke the next morning with a long yawn, stretching out his arms and legs, rubbing softly at his tired eyes. He sat up in the bed and taking a second to look around the room, trying to remember what happened last night and how he got there. This definitely wasn’t his room, he went to the club, had more than a few drinks. Then he went to the dance floor…then a man was….was there and….and then… And then Yoongi helped him. “Oh….” He must be in Yoongi’s room then. Quietly, Jimin got out of bed, playing with the edge of the shirt he was wearing as he made his way out of the room and down the stairs. Jimin feel a bit nervous, he wasn’t too sure where he was or where to go and Yoongi wasn’t anywhere in sight. When Jimin reached the bottom he got a whiff of something delicious. Eggs, Bacon, and…..pancakes? He could taste it in the air and it had his mouth watering as he made his way into the kitchen. Cautiously, Jimin took a few steps inside seeing that there was man inside setting up a few plates at the table, he didn’t look very old, lips plump and honestly quite tall, Jimin could tell he wasn’t an alpha but an Omega. That thought calming his nerves just a bit. “Ah you’re finally awake, hm? Just in time for breakfast too, I just finished cooking.” He said as he began filling each plate with food, looking up to Jimin once more and chuckling softly. “Aren’t you hungry? Come sit, I don’t bite, Yoongi should be down in a bit he’s still getting ready.” Jimin silently walked over and sat down at the table, the older Omega sitting down next to him and starting his meal with Jimin eagerly doing the same. The food was absolutely delicious, filled with so much flavour that Jimin himself couldn’t begin to explain. “I’m not sure if Yoongi told you but I’m Seokjin, not his parent of course…Just a caregiver I guess you could say.”  Jin’s voice was gentle, calming and it helped Jimin feel more at ease. “What’s your name,  hm? Yoongi doesn’t bring anyone back to the house, and he’s never mentioned anyone before. Especially not an omega, are the two of you friends?” “N-no. I mean um…My name’s Jimin. I-I don’t really know Yoongi-ssi I only met him last night. He was just helping me me because I got a bit uh…”  His cheeks were tinted a light shade of pink recalling the memories from last night and how he acted towards the Alpha. God he felt more embarrassed the more he thought about it. “I know him from school but we hadn’t met before…Oh and thank you for the food Seokjin-ssi it’s really delicious!” He added the last part with a small smile. “Oh my you’re adorable.” Jin said with a chuckle before turning back to the younger boy next to him. “Just call me Hyung, hm?” “Ah I’m starving, why didn’t you call me down love?” Another man said as he walked into the kitchen, plopping himself into one of the chairs and immediately stuffing his face. “Amazing as usual! And this is the friend Yoongi brought home right? I’m Namjoon but feel free to call me Hyung.” This man was tall as well, much more on the muscular side than Jin but most omegas weren’t anyways. He wore glasses, light brown hair parted and pushed out of the way of his eyes. He didn’t look like a bad guy. But he was an alpha. Jimin inhaled sharply. He didn’t have any issues with alpha’s, he shouldn’t have any issues with them. But he couldn’t control it, can’t help it but feel small, not since that day…The two older males began a casual conversation with him, Jin mentioning something about Namjoon being his husband but most of it was in one ear and out the other. Jimin’s hands felt wet and clammy as he became more anxious, Tiny hands gripping the hem of the shirt he was wearing and looking towards the staircase every so often to see if Yoongi was coming down yet. He didn’t feel like this around Yoongi, it wasn’t bad like this. He felt comfortable around him, but right now he wanted to just shrink and disappear. He screwed his eyes shut, taking deep breaths. And when he opened them- There was a hand on his shoulder that felt warm and comforting and a bigger hand on top of his own. Jimin looked up only to see that Namjoon had left the room, and looked to his side to find Jin staring back at him. His gaze was soft but filled with worry. “I sent Namjoon to go get Yoongi so that you have time to go home and freshen up before school. Are you okay now Jimin-ah?...You’ve been…out of it for a few minutes. We were worried.” The smaller boy still felt a bit fidgety, tugging on his shirt and looking down in embarrassment. God if he had just learned to control himself things would be fine. He was ruining things already and the day had just started. If he wasn’t being so stupid then maybe his two hyung’s would still be enjoying their morning like they should be. “Hey hey, don’t do that. It was hard enough getting your attention with Namjoon in the room just look at me, ok?” Jin was being too calm and kind, Jimin honestly felt like he didn’t deserve any of it. “Listen Jimin-ah...I don’t know what you’ve been through but I can see you’ve SOMETHING and it’s never going to get better if you hold onto whatever it is that hurt you. I know it’s hard, maybe even harder than any of us might think and I know we can’t do much but…Namjoon and I, we’re here if you ever need anything.” Jin’s gaze softened a bit more as he spoke, giving Jimin’s shoulder a gentle squeeze. “You seem so attached to Yoongi-yah already. You don’t have to tell me what’s wrong. Just know that this is a safe place for you, you’re always welcome alright?” Jimin felt like his heart was going to explode. He’s been shown kindness from his friends many times but nobody had ever been like this towards him. So open and welcoming and caring that it had him wondering when his parents even last looked him in the eye. He wouldn’t cry here, he took a breath before he spoke. “I-I…thank you Hyung. Thank you….” Jin smiled softly at him before his gaze shifted to the entryway. “Look who finally showed up. I think I’ve taken up enough of you time today Jimin, I’ll leave you to Yoongi here.” Jimin turned to look at the older boy leaning against the entryway to the kitchen, silently hoping he didn’t hear much of their small conversation, but the look on his face said otherwise. Yoongi was dressed in a simple grey shirt, black sweats and zip-up hoodie. He looked comfortable and his presence already made Jimin feel much more relaxed. Jin gave Jimin’s shoulder one more reassuring squeeze before getting out of his seat. “I hope we get to see you again soon Jimin-ah, you two have a good day!” The man said before leaving the room. Once Jin was gone the Alpha came closer, standing at his side. At this distance, with his senses much more clear after last night Jimin could smell him better. He smelled like Lemon with hints of peppermint and Jimin couldn’t help but lean into him, rest his head against the alpha and inhaling his scent. It felt so natural and Yoongi must have felt the same, one of his hands coming up to pet his head. “Your scent smelled anxious….are you okay now?” He asked as his fingers ran gently through the younger boys hair. Jimin couldn’t help but blush, his cheeks turning a light pink as he leaned further into the alpha’s touch. Jimin’s never felt this before, this feeling of warmth and safety was new to him but welcomed. “I’m okay. Thank you Yoongi-ssi…” Yoongi smiled softly before taking one of Jimin’s smaller hands into his own and pulling him out of his seat. “I think I’d like Hyung better. I’ll lend you something to wear so that I can walk you home, and to school…if you want me to?…” Jimin couldn’t fight the smile that his lips had formed, curling his small fingers around the alphas large hand and looking up at him shyly. “Y-yeah…I think I would like that….” If this is what it felt like to feel safe and cared about, then Jimin didn’t want it to stop. He didn’t know much about Yoongi other than what people would say about him at school, but something inside told Jimin he could trust him. So he would trust his instinct, just one more time.   The two of them managed to get to school on time and just a few minutes before their classes, Jimin still wearing the hoodie Yoongi had lent him on his way home. He felt safe with the scent wrapped around him, figured it would help keep people away from him this time and with the tiniest blush on the alphas cheeks it didn’t seem like he had a problem. Before the two separated Jimin insisted that Yoongi join him and his friends for lunch because “I saw you alone in the music room Hyung, you don’t have to be alone anymore.” Yoongi hesitated only for a moment, every time he’s tried to let people close they’d just turn on him. He knew what everyone thought about him, could hear everything when he walked through the halls. But when he had Jimin staring up at him, innocent eyes, cotton candy pink hair, and his plump lips in a pout. Well he felt like his only choice would be to agree. His scent earlier wasn’t sweet like it was now, it was worrying, like he was in distress. Yoongi didn’t want that to happen again. So this was how Jimin found himself leading Yoongi to his table of friends outside, assuring him that they were the kindest people he’s known here. Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jeongguk welcomed him with open arms, Taehyung wiggling his eyebrows at Jimin and whispering about the older boy being a good catch and how lucky Jimin was. The smaller boy boy blushing lightly and pushing his best friend away. Yoongi seemed to withdraw himself at first, not really wanting to talk to anyone. But once Hoseok mentioned wanting to work on music the two of them seemed to start bonding easily. It made Jimin happy to have helped someone else, he may not have seen much yesterday but he could tell that Yoongi was lonely, maybe even sad. He silently hoped that his Hyung was happy now and that they could all be friends. Jimin found that this is the happiest he’s been in a long time and he didn’t want it to change. He really didn’t want it to. But for some reason Jimin could never get what he wanted. This world was too cruel to him. Jimin was laughing with his friends and enjoying his lunch, when he got whiff of another scent nearby. The same one that’s been torturing him. There was a time where he liked this scent, would’ve been happy to have known it was approaching him. But right now it smelt horrible to him, sour and frightening. It wasn’t too close yet so he tried to ignore it, to enjoy his time with his friends and act like it wasn’t there. But everything was happening again just like this morning the closer it got to him. His hands were starting to feel wet and sweaty so he pulled the sleeves of Yoongi’s hoodie over them before resting them in his lap. Jimin took a breath and tried to assure himself that everything was fine, Yoongi was with him this time and he would be fine. But then there was a big hand on his shoulder, with a grip engraved in his memories, and a voice saying “Whoring around with a new Alpha? You have better taste than that Jiminie..” And that was all it took for Jimin to fall into a panic again, curling into himself and squeezing his eyes shut. Chest tight and nails digging into the palm of his hand, the skin turning red. He felt afraid but he also felt embarrassed, losing it in front of his friends and whoever else was outside watching everything god, he couldn’t take it any longer. The hand was gone almost as quickly as it came, he could hear growling but not from the other alpha. It was from Yoongi. Yoongi had the other alpha’s wrist in his hand, dropping it as he pushed him back and away from Jimin. “And clearly you can’t take a fucking hint Dae-hyun. Leave him alone.” The boy, Dae-hyun, scoffed. “You don’t need to worry about him Min, he wasn’t acting like that when he was on his knees for me.” He said, his lips pulling up into a smirk. “Like a good Omega…” Jimin didn’t even realize when he had started shaking, his eyes stinging with tears. Dae-Hyun always did this, always changed the story and said things that weren’t true and called him names.  Called him things that Jimin had started to believe. Taehyung was already next to the omega and trying to comfort him, rubbing his back and trying to get him to calm down. “C’mon Chim can you hear me? It’s ok don’t worry we’re all right here…” Yoongi was fuming, his growling only getting louder. Trying to hold back his anger and not beat Dae-hyun to a pulp, it wasn’t the time or place and Jimin was already upset. Causing an even bigger scene would make things worse for him. “You gonna fuck him Min?” The boy in front of him asked, smirk even wider than before. “I heard it’s one of your hobbies, don’t worry though he’s a good catch.” Enough was enough. Yoongi grabbed the boys wrist again, grip tighter then before. Then he was right in his space, growling lowly right into the other alpha’s ear. “If I ever see you near Jimin again I’ll make sure you won’t be able to play any more games, fucking test me…” Dae-hyun must have taken a hint, at least for now. He growled lowly himself, snatching his wrist out of Yoongi’s hand, his eyes shifting to the small omega on the bench. “I’m not done with you yet.” He scoffed. “I’ll see you later Jiminie….” That was all the boy said before leaving the area. When Yoongi was sure he was gone and couldn’t smell his stench anymore he went back to Jimin’s side. Even with Dae-Hyun gone Jimin was still shaking, his little hands in fist and covering his eyes. He was trying to hide his tears but Yoongi could see them. Yoongi gently touched his arm, the other hand at his waist encouraging him to get up. “Hey it’s okay now he’s gone, let’s go somewhere quiet hm?...we don’t have to stay here..” Jimin nodded his head, allowing Yoongi to help him up and take him elsewhere. Jeongguk was ready to follow behind, worried after seeing his friend so shaken up. “Maybe we should go too? Jimin’s been upset because of that asshat before but it’s never been this bad.” “Of course we should follow that’s my best friend!” Taehyung shouted rather loudly, already getting out of his seat. “We all saw him. He’s been like this before but never like that, I don’t even know if he heard a word I said and-” “For once I think we should leave Jimin alone, he’s with Yoongi and I think that’s what he needed really…” Hoseok said.  Even if Jimin didn’t seem relaxed, he had a feeling the omega in Jimin wanted an alphas comfort, in this case Yoongi. “Omegas look to their alpha for comfort and protection right? I’ve never seen Jiminie around any other alphas until Yoongi, I think they’ll be okay.” The boy said with a smile. Taehyung sat down reluctantly. What hoseok said was true and maybe he was right, Jimin responded so easily to their new Hyung and maybe that’s all he needed right now.   Their school didn’t offer many quiet places but Yoongi knew one where nobody would bother them. He took Jimin into the music room, getting Jimin a spot to sit before shutting the door behind them. Jimin was still quite shaken up, now sniffling and wiping at his puffy and wet eyes with his hands. Yoongi sighed softly and sat next to him, wrapping his arm around the smaller boys body and pulling him closer. Yoongi took one of Jimin’s hands into his free one, linking his fingers with Jimin’s tinier ones. Jimin leaned into the alpha, visibly relaxing but still sniffling. “Do…do you want to talk about it? Why he treats you like this?” Yoongi wasn’t the type of person to pry but whatever happened between Jimin and Dae-hyun clearly hurt Jimin more than the jock himself. “No I-I can’t…I don’t want to think about it…Please?..” Jimin knew he could trust Yoongi, wanted the alpha’s protection, but he couldn’t tell him what happened. Dae-hyun said not to, had warned him more than once what would happen if he did. So he couldn’t say it, not right now. “It’s ok. That’s fine. Just try to relax now, hm?..He can’t hurt you again, I won’t let him.” Yoongi was too kind to him, only holding him closer and letting him drown in his scent. Jimin’s been cared for by his friends, been protected, but never like what Yoongi had done for him. Nobody’s cared for him like this, so….lovingly. Nobody has ever stood up for him, tried to fight for him because he was too afraid to do it himself and that alone made Jimin happier. “Thank you…Nobody’s ever done that for me before.” Yoongi scoffed. “That’s because 90% of these people suck up to that loser.” The older boy looked down at the omega curled up in his arms, the one that smelt like honey and blossoms. That gave him the urge to protect and care for. “You don’t have to worry about that anymore. I promise.” Yoongi assured him.  Jimin smiled, feeling so safe right now with Yoongi and for a moment he was able to forget about his troubles. There were so many things he’s been keeping bottled up inside himself, things that made him feel weak and broken. Things that made him wonder if he had anything left to live for or why he was here. The world was cruel to Jimin. But the world just gave him Yoongi, and for a moment he thought that just maybe things would change. That now he would be safe. Jimin decided that it was ok to trust Yoongi. To trust this alpha. He was safe for now.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

1 Month Later…..

A month had gone by since Jimin and Yoongi had become friends and Jimin honestly couldn’t have been more thankful. Things were far from perfect, his parents were getting divorced after months of constant arguing(which still hadn’t stopped) and Dae-hyun was still bothering him although not as much and especially not with Yoongi around. It wasn’t always easy, when he got home he still locked himself in his room with his fathers alcohol and drank away. He still listened to the sound of his father coming home only to yell and scream, getting into the habit of breaking things only for his mother to go down and another argument to start. During those moments Jimin was honestly too scared to leave his room, afraid something in his father would just snap…. But outside of all this mess he has Yoongi, and somehow that’s enough to keep his mind off of all his dark thoughts. He’s not ready to talk about what’s happening in his life, about what happened with Dae-hyun but Yoongi is ready to listen whenever the time comes and that’s ok with Jimin. He had someone there ready to support him and care for him, something he hasn’t had in so long and that’s enough. “Oh my god you didn’t listen to a thing I said just now did you? Chim you’re gonna see Yoongi hyung in like, 10 minutes at least listen and try not to daydream! We’re supposed to be best friends, soulmates, platonic lovers!” Taehyung went on and on like this whenever it seemed like Jimin was staring off into space or hadn’t responded to anything he said, it was honestly hilarious sometimes and Jimin couldn’t help but giggle as the two packed up their things to head down to their lockers. “Taehyungie you’ve told me the same story all day, you and Jeongukkie are going over to Hobi-hyungs for a sleepover because it’s a long weekend. See? I was listening! I was just thinking about what I’ll do too…” His smile widened towards the end of his sentence, cheeks turning a bright pink at the reminder of his own plans. Taehyung only smirked, wiggling his eyebrows and putting an arm around his friends shoulders. He leaned down into Jimin’s ear and said. “Got a hot date with a certain alpha chim?” Jimin’s eyes widened and his face must have been completely red when he turned to look at the boy next to him. “W-what?! No Tae! H-he asked me if I wanted to sleepover. We’re just going to watch movies and eat and have fun.” “Awe chim I think you have a little crush on hyung” His friend said with a laugh as they stopped at their lockers, Taehyung opening his own and getting his things together, Jimin doing the same. He made sure he had everything he would need, which is mostly just homework and books for studying and everything he needed to stay at Yoongi’s house. Jimin put on his chocolate coloured scarf and grey cotton hat, a fluffy pink Pom Pom resting at the top. Then he slipped into a grey light winter jacket. The weather was starting to get a bit colder now that they were nearing the end of fall and the rain hadn’t helped much at all, though Jimin didn’t have an umbrella to keep himself dry. “Taaaaee!...” Jimin whined, he wouldn’t be surprised if he looked like a tomato from his friends teasing. The boy in question chuckled before closing his locker and trapping Jimin in a back hug . “You know I’m just playing around, I’m actually really happy you DO have plans. You don’t go out at all you NEED this. I’m sure you’ll have all the fun in the world, just like I will!” Oh if only he knew about the many times Jimin had really gone out… When Taehyung looked away from his friend he had a shit eating grin on his face. “Well I guess that’s my cue to go find my sleepover buddy’s! Have fun chim I’ll see you Tuesday~” And with that his friend all but ran off, Jimin didn’t even have enough time to turn and see what made him leave when large hands covered his eyes from behind. “Guess who.” A deeper, raspy voice said. Jimin smiled shyly, bringing his hands up to hold onto the bigger ones covering his eyes and pulling them down. “Hi Yoongi hyung…” he turned around to face him, the older boy dressed a black buttoned up fall jacket and same coloured beanie. He looked cute…. Or at least that’s what Jimin thought. Who wouldn’t find this amazing person cute? Yoongi smiled down at him before entwining their fingers. “Ready to go? Jin and Namjoon hyung are going out so it’ll just be us tonight until they’re back.” Jimin’s smile widened and he tightened his small chubby fingers around Yoongi’s. “I’m ready  I’ve been waiting all day I’m really excited hyung, I’ve never had a sleepover before” Jimin always avoided bringing anyone home and he’s also avoided going out with any friends, things just seemed better that way since his issue with Dae-hyun. But when Yoongi asked him to come over, he found it hard to think of an excuse.
When they finally arrived at Yoongi’s home the two of them went up to the alpha’s room. “You can keep your things anywhere you like. I’m going to take a shower so…just get comfortable? What’s mine is yours.” He said with a smile. “You can eat or do anything you’d like, I won’t take long.”  He smiled at Jimin before gathering what he needed and heading into the washroom. Once he was gone and the water was running Jimin sat down on the bed and went through his bag, pulling out his extra clothes and pyjamas. His pyjamas were nothing special, just an oversized shirt and a pair of pants to go with it. Looking at it now though….Jimin didn’t really want to wear it. It’s not that there was anything wrong with it, because…there wasn’t. Not exactly. It just didn’t smell like Yoongi. At all. That wasn’t a huge problem either. But being in the alpha’s and surrounded completely by his scent was just…Jimin loved it and he wanted to smell like him too. He didn’t think the alpha would care much anyway if he borrowed some clothes, it wouldn’t be the first time he’s done it anyway. With that thought in mind Jimin walked over to Yoongi’s dresser, going through his things until he found something he liked. He ended up changing into one of the Alpha’s large black sweaters, and a pair of sweatpants. The sleeves were much longer than usual, leaving him with sweater paws but Jimin loved it. The clothes were drenched in Yoongi’s scent and he felt more comfortable than ever, the strong lemon and pepperminty scent never failing him. Once he was changed Jimin out of curiosity began to look through some of his things. Yoongi didn’t seem to have much other than music CD’s and a lot of used looking notebooks. One book in particular looked much bigger and chunkier than the others and when Jimin pulled it out that’s when he realized it was a photo album. Smiling, Jimin sat in the middle of the bed with it, he’s always been a bit curious about Yoongi. Always wondered what he looked like when he was younger but never tried to ask. He opened the album to find multiple pictures of the alpha when he was a baby. Small and so chubby it reminded him of dumplings. When he turned the page, rather than seeing photos with Jin or Namjoon, there was a woman. She looked quite similar to Yoongi. He had her eyes and lips, and those chubby little cheeks…Could she be his mother? He wondered... Jimin had assumed his two hyung’s were his family, he didn’t have any reason to think otherwise but now with these photos…Jimin wondered what happened to her, why wasn’t she here with Yoongi? He had so many questions for the alpha now and he wanted to ask them all. Where did she go? Did he grow up with her? Did she leave him? He’s never mentioned a mother before but clearly he has one. He let his mind wander, looking through more of the photos. He only jumped when a pair of arms wrapped around him, pulling him back against a warm chest and making him blush. “What are you looking at angel?” Yoongi said, resting his head against Jimin’s and looking down at the photo album in his hands. Jimin only flushing more from the pet name. Jimin, all pink and flushed, leaned back into him, looking back and forth between the book and Yoongi before noticing his silence. “I-I’m sorry I didn’t mean to go through your things…I was just curious I can put it back I didn’t mean to-” “Hey don’t be sorry, I’m not mad. What’s mine is yours remember? It’s just been a long time since I’ve looked at these and I’ve never shown them to anyone else.” Jimin waited and stared at him, ensuring he wasn’t upset with him before relaxing again. “Who is she? Is she your…?” “My mother? Yeah…yeah she is. Jin hyung and Namjoon hyung are my parents, but they’ve taken care of me.” He said, flipping through some of the pages. “O-oh. I just assumed they were. What happened to her?...you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to. I don’t want to be nosy.” Yoongi smiled softly, tightening an arm around him. “You’re not nosy don’t worry. My mother passed away when I was really young, I don’t remember a lot but I know she was working hard to keep our apartment we lived in. I didn’t have a father so it was just the two of us, we were really close.” Jimin stayed quiet while Yoongi spoke as they flipped through the photos, lips forming into a small frown. The two had many photos together. Yoongi’s small little birthday parties just with him and his mom. Selca’s and a variety of photos of them out and about, they really were close. “How did she?...” He didn’t need to finish his sentence for Yoongi to catch on. He sighed softly before answering. “My mom…well she worked a lot to make up enough rent for the month but when she got fired and the landlord threatened to kick us out if she didn’t pay...Well she went into prostitution I guess you could say. Doing favours for men to make money faster.” Jimin could smell his scent changing, the lemons and peppermints turning sour. He pulled the arm around his stomach tighter against his body, entwining their fingers together as Yoongi spoke. “Things were good after that. I mean after some people found out we lost a lot of close friends but it was fine. She didn’t seem bothered by it at first, we were both happy and that was good enough.”  Jimin hummed, letting him know he was listening and that he could continue. “One night she came home and she just seemed different, she seemed sad. Then it became every night until one morning she didn’t wake up. She died from alcohol poisoning…” Jimin’s eyes widened slightly, his fingers tightening around Yoongi’s own. “A-alcohol poisoning? What’s that?...” Jimin hoped Yoongi didn’t hear the tremor in his voice as he questioned him. So alcohol was bad? That must be what he meant. Jimin drank it as if it were water and nothing bad has ever happened to him. Sure he threw up a few times but he figured it was nothing serious. Yoongi furrows his eyebrows, Jimin’s souring scent and shaky voice catching his attention. Alerting Yoongi to the fact that something was off with Jimin. But he’d keep his thoughts on it to himself for now. “Well it can happen if you drink too much in a short period of time. Vomiting, slower breathing, passing out and not waking up…It can kill you.” Jimin swallowed down the small lump in his throat. So this whole time he could’ve died? Still could if he keeps being so careless?...If he died he wouldn’t be able to his friend again, wouldn’t be able to see Yoongi…He didn’t want that. He pushed his thoughts away right now, focusing on Yoongi again. “I’m so sorry hyung…” Jimin said, looking up at him with a frown. “Why are you sorry Angel?” Jimin struggles to find words, tries a couple of times to think of an answer before the gears in his brain start turning again. “I’m sorry that you had to go through at such a young age. I’m sorry so many people abandoned you because your life was just a bit different. And I’m sorry you had to keep growing up without your mom…I-I’ve never lost anyone before and I don’t know what else to say other that I’m sorry. You didn’t deserve it.” Jimin could feel the vibration of Yoongi’s him of acknowledgment against his back, one of the alpha’s hands coming up to run through his pink hair. “And how do you know what I deserve Jimin-ah….” Yoongi asked, his voice soft and calm. “When I was at the club you saved me from a bad situation without knowing me. You brought me to your home and took care of me. You didn’t take advantage of me like others might have. You’re the first person to stand up for me in front of Dae-hyun, who has everyone thinking I’m…thinking I’m some sort of slutty omega…But you also became my friend even thought we met when I was drunk out of my mind and not my best.” Jimin pauses to place a soft gentle kiss on Yoongi’s forearm, to show his thanks and gratitude. “You also make me feel safe…I don’t think someone like that deserves so much pain.” Yoongi wants to tell Jimin if that’s true then he doesn’t deserve any of it either. But he keeps quiet for now because it’s not his place to say anything, at least…not yet. When Jimin looks downwards, that’s when he finally notices the tattoos covering Yoongi’s right arm. He was so wrapped up in their conversation he hadn’t even realized they were there, but it looked beautiful. Red roses and light purple lotuses all going down his arm, the stem of one of them leading down to his wrist had a name written down. Ga-Yeong….It must be his mother’s name.  “Is that why you got your tattoos and became known as the bad boy? Because of everything you went through?” Yoongi chuckled softly and the sound eased the slight tension in Jimin’s body. One of his small fingers now tracing the lines of the tattoos in his arm. “No. People love making up stories just so they can have something to talk about, no matter how ridiculous they are. I just so happen to be part of those stories.” Jimin flushed in embarrassment and a bit of shame. Jimin himself never bothered to make up stories about Yoongi, didn’t like them. But he’d be lying if he said he didn’t believe just a few of the rumours he’s heard. “I actually got them for my mother.” He said before tightening his arm around Jimin, shifting his body and falling back so that he could lay down with Jimin resting on top of him. Jimin stayed silent as Yoongi spoke, still tracing the pretty flowers on his arm. “ Her name means beautiful flower and she’s always smelled like roses, that’s why I got them tattooed on my arm in red, because she had a big heart. I got the purple lotuses because even during the worst weather it could still grow. Even when things seemed like they’d never get better she stayed strong and kept pushing through for both of us. They remind me of her...” Jimin only smiled softly. “They’re very beautiful hyung…I think if she saw you now she’d be very happy” He didn’t need to say anything else for Yoongi to smile down at him, letting Jimin trace the tattoos some more before entwining their fingers again. They laid there quietly together for a few moments before Yoongi spoke again. “I didn’t get to say before but I like seeing you in my clothes” He said with a grin. “You look so cute with your little sweater paws.” As if to prove his point, he let go of Jimin’s hand and let the bunched up sleeve fall back down to cover it. Jimin couldn’t think of a response other than whining “Hyung…” The alpha under him only grinning wider and nosing at his neck. “Do you like big clothing or did you just want to be covered in my scent, hm?...Or maybe both?” Jimin’s blush only darkened and he was sure his whole face was flushed by now. “Yoongi you’re so mean!…I-I just really like your scent!” Jimin said, face impossibly red and plump lips in a full pout and arms crossed as he stared at the alpha. The boy under him only chuckled, reaching into the drawer of his nightstand to pull out a beanie and put it on Jimin’s head.    “There.” Yoongi says just as he finishes adjusting the beanie on top of Jimin’s head. “Now you’ll be covered in me from head to toe.”  Jimin sits up, crosses his legs and looks down at Yoongi, pout on his face and his arms still crossed against his chest. Yoongi can’t help but hopelessly endeared by the younger omega. “You’ve gotta stop pouting eventually angel” He said with a smile. “It’s too cute for me to handle anymore”  Jimin, being the little brat he was, only exaggerated his pout even more. His cheeks and ears red from all of Yoongi’s words. “You can’t be a brat forever Jimin-ah..” Yoongi said as he started poking the boys side, trying to get a reaction out of him. The corners of Jimin’s lips twitched as he tried not to smile, holding back the giggles that were fighting to come out. “Have it your way then…” That was all Yoongi said before pouncing on Jimin, the smaller boy falling on his back. He didn’t have time to be surprised before Yoongi started tickling his sides, no longer able to hold back his giggles. “Hyung!” He yelled as he tried to swat Yoongi’s hand away. Jimin tried to use his words to ask him to stop but he couldn’t get it out through his uncontrollable laughter, the alpha not letting up for even a second. Yoongi smirked knowing he’d already won. Yoongi couldn’t help but smile widely at the boy giggling under him. Jimin was…Yoongi thought he was beautiful, rosy cheeks matching his hair, big smile turning his eyes into little crescents and his scent so light and carefree. This is the Jimin Yoongi wanted to see everyday, he didn’t know what Jimin was going through but he knew he wanted to help him smile like this all the time.  When Jimin accidentally bares his neck trying to squirm away, Yoongi loses focus. He stopped tickling Jimin, resting his forearms on either side of the boys head and leaning down to nose at his scent gland. Yoongi wanted to scent mark him, wanted to keep others away, keep Dae-hyun away…He wouldn’t. At least not unless Jimin asked him too but god were his instincts telling him otherwise. He didn’t stay there long, inhaling his scent for just a minute or so before pulling away to look Jimin in the eye. Jimin was staring back at him, cheeks red and eyes sparkling. Looking at the alpha above him, Jimin realized how close their faces were, lips just centimetres away from each other. Yoongi was looking at him so intensely, Jimin thought for a second that maybe that alpha wanted to kiss him… Jimin thinks that if Yoongi really did want to, he might let him… They stayed like that only for a minute or so, to Jimin it felt like forever. Yoongi snapped out of his daze, bringing a hand up to push some stray hairs away before smiling down at Jimin.  “Let’s order some dinner and put on a movie…How does pizza sound angel?” Jimin smiled shyly, biting his lip. “I think it sounds great hyung…” Yoongi got off the bed, taking Jimin’s hand and helping him up before leaving the room with him. Jimin wondered if this is what Taehyung meant by having fun. After much debate about what kind of pizza they should get because “Pineapples don’t belong on a pizza hyung!” The two settled for the classic cheese pizza. After the food was ordered, Yoongi brought his mattress down into the living room so that if they’d fall asleep at some point, at least they wouldn’t need to travel upstairs. He made sure he brought down blankets and extra pillows for the two of them as well before letting Jimin settle down and browse through the movie choices on Netflix. Yoongi had just come out of the kitchen with their drinks and snacks when the pizza arrived. Once everything was ready and out on the small coffee table, Yoongi sat down next to Jimin, looking at the screen and seeing Jimin stuck between 2 movies. “Still can’t decide? Let’s just watch the romcom first and if you’re still up for it we can watch a Disney movie after. Sound good angel?” Jimin smiled, selecting the movie and tossing the remote away. “It sounds great hyung, let’s eat now I’m starving!” Yoongi smiled and then the two boy began their movie night, eating their pizza and snacks and drinking their soda while watching some random romcom on Netflix. Jimin had giggled a bit when the movie started, asking Yoongi why he had these movies and if he liked them. Yoongi only chuckling and saying “They’re Jin-hyung’s movies, I just watch them when I’m bored.”  At some point later into the night, when their food was all done and the room was dark, the only light coming from the tv. Jimin had found himself at Yoongi’s side, head resting on his shoulder and the alpha’s arm wrapped around him while he focused on the movie. Every once in awhile Yoongi would find himself staring down at the small boy in his arms, who was completely focused on the film in front of them. Jimin looked so happy and stress free, his scent still pure and sweet and free of any anxiety or sadness. He wasn’t always like this at school, Yoongi thought. Jimin might not even realize, but Yoongi knew the difference, could see the slight stress whenever he was at school and could feel his sadness. Yoongi wanted to know what it was exactly that was hurting him, wanted to help Jimin so that he’d never feel upset again. Wanted to hurt Dae-hyun for whatever he did to this sweet boy that was with him right now. But for now he’d just try to keep Jimin happy, would let Jimin tell him what happened when he felt ready too. Yoongi pulled his body as close as he could, let Jimin rest against him completely before focusing on the movie again, not even sure of what was happening because of how often he focused on Jimin. A little over halfway through the movie Yoongi starts to feel a heavy weight against the left side of his body. When he looks down again he finds Jimin’s eyes fluttering shut and his breathing slowing as he falls asleep, one of the boys arms wrapping around  Yoongi’s waist as he tries to curl against him. Yoongi smiles softly before carefully shifting, trying not to disturb him as he lays down and lets Jimin rest on him. The tired boy quickly curls against his side, his head resting just above his heart and tiny hand curled into a fist just beside him. Yoongi felt so warm, felt happy to have friends and happy to have someone like Jimin. He became lost in his thoughts and completely forgot about the movie that was still playing. He honestly couldn’t understand why anyone would want to hurt someone like Jimin. Someone so pure and sweet and caring, pretty eyes that sparkle and turn into little crescents when he smiles too widely. Yoongi wanted to give him the world, wanted to show Jimin how special he was. He pushed some of the boys hair out of his eyes, placing a soft and gentle kiss on his forehead. Yoongi wrapped an arm around Jimin to keep him close and pressed against him, thinking of all the things he wanted to do for him before his eyes shut and he fell asleep. It was almost midnight when the jingling sound of keys were heard and the front door was opening, Namjoon quietly walking inside. Jin however was from quiet, his windshield wiper laugh booming throughout the house as he walked in behind his mate, laughing at one of his own jokes. “Ssshh!!” Namjoon said in a loud whisper before taking hold of Jin’s chin and turning his head towards the light of the tv. There they saw a movie still playing but below that, just on a mattress on the floor were Yoongi and Jimin. Yoongi laying on his back while the smaller boy wrapped in his arms was curled against him, both of them sleeping soundly. “Oh…Namjoon look at them they’re so adorable…” The omega cooed watching the two as they slept. Namjoon only chuckled softly, quietly walking over to properly cover the two boys with Yoongi’s blanket and shutting off the tv before returning to Jin’s side. “Kind of reminds me of us when we were in school…I’m happy for him, the kid needs this honestly.” Jin nodded his head in agreement, smiling at the two sleepy boys. “He does…Jimin is such a good kid too. They seem like such a perfect match Joon just look at them.”  Jimin’s lips were in a small pout as he slept, the boy shifting to shove his neck into Yoongi’s neck before stilling again. “They are…” Namjoon said, wrapping an arm and his lovers waist and kissing his cheek. “But I’m still worried about Jimin. I know he’s comfortable around me now but he still panicked just by me being in the room that day…Obviously he’s not like that with Yoongi but something still happened to him. Something making him afraid of other alpha’s…” “Something definitely happened…I think he went through something traumatic. I’m sure he’ll talk about it when he’s ready, I’ve only talked to him once but if anything happens I’m sure Yoongi will come to us.” Jin said as he leaned into Namjoon, letting the man take him up to their room. “Whatever they decide we’ll support them both though, hm? We’re Jimin’s family too.” Jimin wasn’t sure what it was that had his eyes fluttering open. Maybe it was the morning sunlight shining brightly through the window, maybe it was that comforting scent of lemon and peppermint surrounding him. Maybe it was just because for the first time in what felt like forever, Jimin had woken up without a headache or a bad hangover. Whatever it was though, Jimin found himself stretching out his limbs and burrowing his nose into Yoongi’s neck where his comforting scent was strongest. He stayed just like that, curled up against the alpha and nosing at his neck while he slept. Eventually Yoongi began to stir, yawning before turning onto his side, wrapping his arms around Jimin’s waist. He opened his eyes and looked down at him, smiling and pressing his lips against his forehead before speaking softly, voice even more deep and raspy from sleeping. “Good morning Angel…” Jimin smiled, even after just waking up Yoongi easily made him feel all warm and tingly inside but Jimin enjoyed the attention nonetheless. “Morning hyung…” They laid there quietly together for a few moments, soaking in the morning sun and letting their bodies wake up before Yoongi spoke again. “As much as I enjoy laying here with you I think we should find something to eat. I know a café close by, only if you want to go of course.” “Hyung are you sure?” Jimin knew Yoongi cared about him, but he couldn’t help but feel insecure. Besides his friends nobody respected him, nobody cared about him and Jimin didn’t want Yoongi to feel like he had to just because nobody else did. Though the one half of him knew that wasn’t the case, the other half, the part of him that felt insecure, couldn’t help but think otherwise. You don’t have to waste your money on me…especially since people think I’m…” He bit his lip nervously, rubbing his arm while he stared up at Yoongi. “Hey don’t talk like that.” He wasn’t angry but his face was stern and sincere. He hated when Jimin would talk like that about himself, he deserves to be treated  with respect and Yoongi would continue to do so until Jimin believed it himself. “I’m not doing anything because I feel like I have to alright? I want to take care of you…” He took Jimin’s hand into his own and tugged gently. “I never do things that I don’t want to do. If I say I want to take care of you it’s only because I want to alright? Now let’s go have breakfast together…My treat.” He says, smiling softly. Jimin stared at him for what seemed like forever before finally letting has fingers wrap around the alphas large hand, smiling shyly. “I guess we should get ready then, I’m really hungry hyung…”  Yoongi pulled the boy up and out of bed with him, taking him upstairs so they could quickly get ready. It was still quite early when they finally left the house, only around 10:30 in the morning. Thankfully it wasn’t as chilly as yesterday had been, Yoongi dressed in one of his dark ripped jeans and a light grey zip-up hoody. His platinum blond hair was brushed out and parted to keep the hair out of his eyes. Jimin was dressed in a pair of light blue skinny jeans paired with one of his thick brown sweaters, his head of pink hair still covered up by Yoongi’s beanie. Their fingers were entwined as they walked into the small breakfast diner not too far from Yoongi’s home. The owner, a small older woman, welcomed them happily. She went on about how much she missed Yoongi and scolded the alpha for not coming as often, surprised at how well he was growing up and finding someone as cute as Jimin, both their cheeks flushing. The two found a booth together, Jimin choosing to sit right next to the alpha because he didn’t want to let go of his hand. Yoongi did end up letting go of his hand, Jimin quickly pouting when he did but the alpha only laughed softly before wrapping an arm around the boy and pulling him close. After the two decided on what they’d like and waited for everything to arrive, Jimin couldn’t help but get lost in his thoughts a bit as Yoongi spoke to him. For the first time in a very long time Jimin had gone to sleep without feeling the need to drink his problems away and he couldn’t be happier. Ever since he’d met Yoongi everything had changed, day by day he felt happier and as he stared up at the alpha next to him…Jimin knew it would be better. Yoongi would make him better. He nuzzled his head into the older boys neck, confusing the alpha next to him. Yoongi smiled though nosing into his hair and inhaling his scent. Jimin made Yoongi happier too just by being here, and he wasn’t about to let Dae-hyun or anyone else ruin it for them. In this moment, they couldn’t be happier.
