Jason sighed quietly as he waited for the portal to open up so he could make sure his loved one would never have to live in the war-torn world that had begun only hours ago. He could only hope they would forgive him for drugging them the way he did, even he could understand how rude it was of him to drug their favorite foods. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he tossed them in this new world with bad blood still between them. He couldn't get his mind off of how betrayed Roy had looked when he felt the drug start to take effect. He was drawn out of his musings as the wind started to pick up and the familiar sight of the blue and white portal opened up before him. Silently, he picked up Damian's unconscious body and threw it into the portal, where he would land in a world unfamiliar to him and the others. He turned, gazing at Roy, before bending over and picking up Tim's light body (no really, the kid needs to eat more than coffee, he was light as mierda!) and dumping him in next. After a couple minutes he had dumped in everyone except for Roy, wincing, he pulled a pre-written letter out of a brown leather pocket from his jacket and placed it in Roy's bow sack. He then picked up Roy's unconscious body into the portal, just before it closed. Just as it closed his Batstincts (Bat + Instincts = Batstincts) made him quickly turn around and land a punch on not-bats cowl covered face.He then turned to get away, only to ram into someone else, pushing himself away he looked at them. He paled as he saw not-supes standing there, he doesn't have any kryptonite so fighting this evil version of Superman wasn't possible at the moment, even with all his bat training. He was startled again when something sharp, something painful landed in his back. He growled and tried to turn around to fight Batman, despite knowing how bad of an idea it was to turn his back on not-Superman. Something stabbed him in the gut and he fell to the ground. The last thing he saw, before his vision faded to black, was not-bats smirking at him. As his vision started to fail, Jason couldn't help but think...
"I'm so sorry Roy"
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Japan blinked, looking around the darkened streets of Tokyo, still hearing the long-dead screams of children that had been murdered so ruthlessly only hours ago. She could still remember the shock that had run through her and her people when the sun didn't come up when the night time sky only became darker and darker until it was almost pitch black outside the safety of their homes. She could still feel the blood she had scrubbed off of her until her skin was raw and pink, she could still see the life fading from the eyes of the men she had to kill to protect her homeland, though it was all in vain. Despite what some may think, she wasn't emotionless when faced with blood, gore, and death. She simply hid it until it was an appropriate time to react. But right now, despite her long driven instinct to fight and protect, her body simply wouldn't, she was in shock from what was happening. Her little brothers North and South Korea had gotten past her defenses and attacked her. They had murdered her boss right in front of her, they killed the children who were innocently playing in the streets, they had blocked her land from the sun using exhaust and smoke. She felt something wet streak down her face, and raised her hand to feel `am I, crying?` she thought to herself, trying to remember the last time she had cried without reason.Distantly, she heard the familiar shout of China, calling for her, asking for her to respond. Desperately trying to assure himself that she was alive, that the Korean Twins didn't kill her when they attacked. However, Japan didn't respond as she stood up, looking around for her sword. She simply wanted to get rid of the immense pain she was feeling, she didn't want to feel anything anymore.Japan finally found her sword, laying under some rubble and surrounded by the dark blood. Red was a color that she once treasured, but now she couldn't help but despise it. Carefully, not wanting to alert China to her presence just yet, Japan lifted her sword, unsheathing it from its blood-stained sheath. Japan frowned, thinking deeply about what she was about to do, before kneeling on the ground. She could hear China footsteps getting closer now, she closed her eyes and thought `sorry, little brother` and raised her sword up, aiming it just right. `I don't deserve the kindness you and the others give me.` She brought the sword down, stabbing herself in the gut. Just as a panicked shout of "JAPAN!" reached her ears.Silently, she fell to the ground, blood flowing out and joining her peoples.
POV CHANGED TO CHINA'S
China couldn't help but panic as he reached the darkened streets of Tokyo, terror lacing his face. He remembered the last time Japan had faced an attack this bad, she almost didn't recover. And that was when she had been nuked twice by the American. As soon as he reached the area where Japan lived, he called out "JAPAN!" He received no answer which only served to terrify him more. "JAPAN! BIG SISTER!?" He called out, still not receiving an answer. China ran through the darkened streets of Tokyo, hoping to find his dearest older sister before she did something irreversible. That was when he heard the (sadly) familiar sound of sword penetrating flesh, and raced to follow it. What he found shook him to his core. "JAPAN!"He rushed to her side, hand flying up to her neck. Searching for a pulse, he held his breath and- thump, tha thump- he let out a sigh of relief. His sister was still alive. Carefully, he picked her up, making sure not to jostle the wounds too much. He then rushed to the nearest hospital that still had people working after the massacre that had just happened. "NURSE! SOMEONE! HELP HER!" The next moments passed by in a blur for China as the nurses and doctors took his sister away from him into the E.R.About five hours later, China was sitting in the waiting room, no longer covered in his sister's blood. He sat there staring at his hands, `I will never forgive the Korean Twins for this. NEVER` He thought to himself. The sound of doors opening had him looking up, to see one of the nurses that had taken his sister to the E.R. "Mr. Wang?" The nurse asked, "Are you, Mr. Wang?" China stood up and nodded. "Yes, that's me. Is my sister alive?" China asked, fearing the answer. The nurse gave him a grim smile, "Mr. Wang, though it took quite a while, we managed to save her life..however, she has fallen into a coma. I'm sorry but we don't know when she will wake."China couldn't help it, he fell to his knees and cried. He wouldn't get to see his sister's rare smile, or watch her struggle with emotions the way she did when North Italy came to visit. Suddenly, a thought occurred to him, `How am I going to tell her friends!?`

Hello, it is I, Sir Cumberwatch Tiger the Third. I am here again to talk aboutthe strange humans who visit my Zoo. They think the male and femalepeople in the blue shirts own this Zoo but they are wrong, I do. Forexample; there was this strange little human that made themost annoying sounds which I later learned was what the humanscalled a baby or infant. These little humans seem to be given forgivenessfor the screeching sounds they make, unlike the slightly taller humans whoseem to throw fits worthy of young gorillas. I have observed that the adult humans grant the babies more leniency than the slightly taller ones. They seem to be more lenient to the youngest of their pack. However wise I maybe through my entire life cycle in this Zoo, I still find no reasoning behindthe ways of the humans. They discriminate against the other humans ofdifferent colors. They disregard the words of the younglings of their packssimply because they do not believe they have the intelligence that theadults do. But as I have seen, some of the young of the packs haveintelligence beyond their years. I can’t think of a reason why people doubtthe young ones of their intelligence. Out of every human, young or elder, never have I seen any elder believe their child when they point outthe intelligence we animals truly have.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Alfred paused the video game he had been playing, not really because he was done, but more because he was... bored. After a while, pretending to be as annoying and cheerful as possible wears a person down. He had been doing this- this act for as long as he could remember, but he doesn't really remember how it started. Maybe as a way to cope with the change in lifestyle that happened when England found him. Maybe it started as a way to distract himself from the longing need for attention he felt when England left him to go back to England. That one was probably the most likely choice, considering the fact England was gone constantly. Always needing to be there for his king. Always caring more for his country than he did Alfred's.Alfred could come up with maybe a hundred or more theories on why this act had started, but he would never be sure which one was right. He sighed, putting the controller to his game, and got up from where he had been seated on the floor. He needed a burger. Now don't get him wrong, he likes the burgers, just not all the time. Really the only reason he ate so many of them was that his metabolism required it. If he didn't, Alfred supposed he would get as close to dying as he could within a day and a half. He snorted to himself, realizing why the others called him fat when they thought he wouldn't hear. They didn't know of his metabolism, so of course "The burger eating idiot" is fat.Had he ever given them a reason to think otherwise? Had he even given it passing thought during the times it all got too much for him? No, of course, he didn't. Because all he could think was that England and Canada thought he was nothing more than a burger eating idiot. It hurt, it really did sometimes, that his own brothers thought that of him. The only thing keeping him from stopping the act is his worries of "Will they like the real me?" "What if they preferred an idiot?". He wasn't as dumb as he looked, there was a variety of different people in his country, from smart to stupid, beautiful to ugly, kind to hateful, calm to crazy, and so many more. There were times, where he wondered what would happen if he stopped, just for a day. Times where he thought to himself, "I wish Confederacy was still around" because at least Confederacy had known. Known about the act, about his fears. Even if neither of them got along, they always agreed on one thing. They were brothers, war or no. Confederacy cared about him, about his life, about what would happen to him if the Confederacy won that war so long ago. It might have been 200 years ago, but to Alfred, it was only yesterday that he was forced to kill his brother. That was another thing that worried him if he ended the act, would he tell Canada that he could have had another brother? Had it not been for Alfred, Canada would have gotten a brother who was nowhere near as "stupid" and "idiotic" as he was. He could already see the anger that would build up in the eyes of his twin, anger that he hadn't been told, that Alfred had kept the third brother a secret for so long. He wanted so bad to just let go, to let go of the act, to let everyone know "I'm not stupid, I'm not fat, I just wanted you to like me".In the end, Alfred never really ended the fight with himself, only going back to his game. A distraction against the problems he faces.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
It had started off as playful teasing, just some fun between the two. But, as all things do with them, it escalated into much more. It became a screaming match between the two, things said that both would regret, leading to Virgil to sink out to the empty halls of the Dark Manor (a story for another day) with Roman following. "Virgil! Stop running from me like a coward!" Roman yelled, chasing the younger through one of the many hallways."Leave me alone Princey!" Virgil shouted over his shoulder, his Double Voice lacing the words. Roman very nearly obeyed, by the effects quickly wore off. "I order you to stop! Right now Virgil!" At that, the purple clad male skidded to a stop in front the the fanciful side."You, order me? You order me?" Virgil glowered at Roman, "I order you to take a long walk off a short pier." The prince grew offended at this, "You cannot order me to do anything Brad-pittful!"Virgil scoffed, smirking. "Wanna bet? You're in my kingdom now." With that, Virgil wave a hand in Roman's direction and the multiple shadows around them dove toward the prince, and as Roman's world was bathed in black the last thing he saw was Virgil smirking at him.
