"Hey, Saiki? I wanted to apologise about how my brother acted the other day." Teruhashi said.Yumehara heard her. "You have a brother, Kokomi?""Yeah. Lots of people have siblings." She said neutrally."I have three siblings." Mera said."Really? I wish I had a brother or sister." Yumehara added."Yeah, I don't have one either." Kaido said."Have what?" Nendou looked over at them, a dull look on his face. He was easily ignored."What about you, Saiki?" Kaido asked."We didn't see anyone over for New Year's." Teruhashi said."I have a brother. He didn't come home because he lives in England, studying at Cambridge." He said. He only answered because if they mentioned it to his parents and they answered, it could cause problems for him."Really? How come we never met him? Is he a lot older?" Yumehara asked."He's 18. He's a genius, so Cambridge accepted him at 14, and he hasn't been home since." Saiki explained. 'He hasn't been home because of me. One if the few people in the world who is supposed to love me no matter what hates me.'Teruhashi seemed to notice his hesitation to talk and steered the conversation elsewhere. He didn't keep up with it, to focused on Kusuke. He hadn't thought about his brother in years.'Kusuke is probably why I just want to be normal. He would love me if I was normal. I really haven't seen him in a long time. I say I hate him because he hates me, but my Mom raised me to love family, and I still love him. It's different than how I love my parents, though. I love Kusuke unconditionally. I think I'll visit him after school today.'After school"Hey, Saiki? You want to do something together over the weekend?" Teruhashi asked.'No. That talk earlier got me thinking. I think I'm going to ask my parents if I can go see my brother.' Saiki knew they would say yes. The convincing would come in getting them to not tag along.Saiki got home to see just his mom there. His dad must still be at work." Ku, you're home. How was school?" 'Fine. I want to go see Kusuke. Do you care if I go? I'd be back Sunday.'"Oh, Ku! That makes me so happy! Make sure you bring some extra clothes and you're toothbrush. I'll get you some spending money. Have fun and take lots of pictures for me!"'I'll be back Sunday. Call Kusuke if you need me.'Saiki got what he needed and teleported to Cambridge.At the front desk'excuse me, ma'am? I'm looking for my brother, Kusuke Saiki? Can you help me find him?'"No need." A voice said from behind him. "I saw your conversation with Mom, do I came down here to wait for you. Come up to my room and we'll talk. It's good to see you again Kusuo." Kusuke said.Saiki followed Kusuke to his dorm. Kusuke is an upperclassmen and top of his class, so he has his own room as a reward."Why are you here, Kusuo?"The blonde asked. "Nothing is wrong with our family and I don't see anything wrong with you."Saiki sighed. He can't speak telepathically to Kusuke with the blocking device on. "Why does something have to be wrong for me to come see you? Can't I just want to visit my big brother?""That would be the normal thing to do, but you're not normal, are you Kusuo?" Kusuke leered at him."No, I'm not." Saiki agreed before sitting at Kusuke's desk and making himself comfortable."So, you never told me why your here." "I did tell you. You just don't believe me." "Well, if you aren't going to be honest, maybe you can help me out. Come to the lab with me. I need someone to check my calculations. Normally I wouldn't bother, but it's for a dangerous experiment. You're the only one smart enough for me to trust with it." Kusuke smirked slightly. If Kusuo wants to act like he suddenly likes him, Kusuke is going to spend the time to his advantage.Kusuo got up and nodded. They walked to the lab together. Another student was at the work area next to Kusuke's."Hey, Kusuke, who's this?" "Hmm? Oh, this is my younger brother, Kusuo. I asked him to come check over my work." Kusuke handed sailing stack of papers."Really? You never need anyone to check over your stuff." The kid said.Saiki flipped through the pages quickly. "Here. It's all right, but you already knew that." The other student looked at him in surprised. "You barely even looked at it. I know Kusuke is a genius. Are you one, too?""Compared to Kusuo, I'm a normal person. Sorry to leave so soon, but we already finished what we came here for. We're going to head out. I want to spend time with my brother alone." Kusuke put on a fake smile and led Saiki out of the room. He let out a frustrated sigh as soon as they left. "I hate regular people. You always had a strange fascination with them. I never could figure out why.""None of them fascinate me like you do, big brother." Saiki said. It was true, but Saiki wasn't sure why he said it.Kusuke let out a fake laugh. "You don't have to lie to me. I know you hate me, Kusuo."Saiki was getting frustrated. "You idiot!" A few people in the hallway looked over at Saiki's outburst. "Let's go back to my dorm." Kusuke said. They kept quiet on the walk back."Tell me why you're here! Why must you taunt me like this?" Kusuke growled out."I told you! I'm here to see you, idiot!" "Why are you being so emotional? I've never seen you this way!""Because for a genius, you're being stupid!" "I don't know what you want from me! You've already taken so much from me! I moved to England to get away from you!" Kusuke looked close to tearing his hair out."Fine! If you don't want me here, I can go back home!" "Of course I want you here! I just want you to be honest with me." "I told yo-""I know." Kusuke made air quotes. " You just wanted to come see me." He ended the air quotes. "But why would you want to do that?"Saiki was thoroughly aggravated and worked up by this point. His brother was the only one who could bring this out in him. "Because I love you!"Kusuke almost collapsed in shock. He slowly sat down onto the edge of his bed. "You. . . You love me? Really?""Yes. I love you, big brother." Saiki said."Oh. . . I see. Brother. . ." He trailed off. "Is there something wrong?" Saiki asked."No. I'm glad that you love me. I know I never acted like it, but I love you, too. It's just. . ." Kusuke sighed. He lifted his hand up and slowly removed his telepathy blocking device. 'I love him. I love Kusuo so much, but I don't love him as a brother. I love you, Kusuo. Romantically. There. That was easier to think than to say out loud. Good thing Kusuo i-' He put his blocking device back on."Oh wow. I didn't expect that. The idea of us together romantically isn't entirely. . . unappealing, I guess. We don't have to worry about the usual problems with incest. You are attractive. You also know about my powers. It is a long distance relationship, but I can teleport. I'd be open to trying a romantic relationship with you, Kusuke." Saiki reasoned."Really? Then would you kiss me? Or at least give me a hug?" Kusuke leaned forward on the bed, thighs together and legs out to either side.Saiki looked at him. Kusuke sighed. Of course his unemotional little brother would deny him this. He had been reluctant about a relationship after all. Kusuke was broken out of his thoughts by the feeling of arms wrapping around him. He looked up quickly and saw Saiki's face close to his. "Kusuo. . ." Saiki leaned down and pushed their lips together. It was a chaste kiss. Saiki didn't deepen it and Kusuke had remained unresponsive from shock."Can I stay the night with you? I told Mom I would be back tomorrow." Saiki said."Of course you can!" Kusuke took off his blocker and put it into a case on his desk. "Did you bring any clothes with you? Never mind. I'll just give you some anyways." 'I want to see how cute you look in my clothes.'Saiki nodded. He didn't worry about Kusuke seeing him undressed. They are brothers and had seen each other nake before. Saiki wasn't even taking off his underwear. He was just changing into an oversized black t shirt. It went down to his mid thighs. "Is it as cute as you thought?" "Even better! Come lie down with me!" Kusuke had on a pair of sleep pants and no shirt.Saiki climbed into the small dorm bed with his brother. The small space forced then to push together, but they would have done that anyways."Good night, Kusuke." Saiki said."Good night, Kusuo. Make sure you visit me as often as possible in the future. I want you like this all the time." Kusuke kissed Saiki's forehead and then buried his nose into Saiki's hair, being sure to be careful of the pink pins controlling the psychic's powers. They fell asleep feeling a comfort neither had felt in years and one new to them both. The comforts of a brother's and a lover's love.
