Awakening: A Teen Wolf FanficThe PrefaceHere’s everything you need to know about this fic. Everything in the Teen Wolf Universe is the same except for a couple crucial things…Juliet “Jules” Montgomery is the Main Character of this fic. She is a Black woman. Jules has been best friends with Scott and Stiles since they all met in the 3rd grade when Jules moved to Beacon Hills with her mother, Elise. Jules is a Scorpio, and her birthday is November 13th. She is funny, dramatic, sarcastic and fiercely loyal. She is Bisexual. Jules and her mother are Witches and come from a long line of Witches, unbeknownst to Jules. Jules is aware that she is a Witch but not of her other family members. All she remembers is moving to Beacon Hills after the mysterious death of her father.Though Jules, Stiles and Scott are best friends, the boys didn’t know Jules was a Witch until the end of Season One. Jules’ powers are very in tune with her emotions and influenced by them. Because of this, her mother Elise didn’t want Jules to tell her friends until she got a better handle on her powers.Jules has always had feelings for Stiles. The two of them get together at the end of Season One after Peter attacks Lydia, causing Jules to freak out and attack him with her magick. This is also when Scott and Stiles both find out that Jules is a witch. And then eventually Allison and Lydia find out as well during the events of Season Two. Aside from her late father Ezequiel, Deaton is the only family member that Jules knows. He is her uncle on her father’s side. The fic opens in Season Three (because it’s my favorite season and it’s the best season. Argue with the wall!) and will continue through to Season Six. Because of the addition of a new character/pack member certain crucial storylines and ships will have to be changed, along with the adding of storylines and characters for Jules and her journey. The most crucial and important changes are as follows:Since Jules and Stiles are together, there will be no Stydia and Stalia. But don’t fret, I have romantic plans for Lydia and Malia given the change. I don’t wanna give too much away but please note that in this fic Malia is a member of the Alphabet Mafia (LGBTQIA+). This might be a spoiler, but it majorly changes the trajectory of things, so I am going to mention it here. I loved Allison when I watched Teen Wolf in high school, and I was devastated when she died because I felt like it was unnecessary and like out of character. Yes, I know that Crystal Reed wanted to leave the show and that’s why it really happens. All this to say, Allison Argent will NOT be dying in this fic. She will survive but the how she survives, you’re just going to have to read it.I believe that covers everything. Though I will not fully write out Seasons One & Two, there are certain moments I believe are crucial for story building and so there may be special one-shots from seasons One & Two but that’s as far as they’ll be explored. I’m excited to do this again and do it right. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Jules' P.O.V.
I was waiting for Lydia when my phone started buzzing. Without even looking to see who it was I answered the phone. “Why are you calling me again?”
“Because I miss you,” Stiles whined into the phone.
“You literally just left an hour ago,” I said.
There was shuffling and then another voice. “I still can’t believe you’re not here. I’m getting my first tattoo and you’re missing it!” Scott said.
“Do you want to answer to Lydia if I cancel on her?”
“No,” Scott laughed. “I really don’t.”
“Exactly,” I said. “Plus you decided last minute anyway!”
“Yeah, yeah have fun.” Scott said. “Oh, have you heard from Allison?”
“Yeah,” I sighed. I know how much it hurts him not to talk to her.
“Is she coming back?”
“I don’t know, Scott.” I said. I really didn’t know if she was. We talked all summer and had group calls with Lydia but I still was too afraid to ask her if she was gonna come back.
“Okay,” he said. I knew that answer didn’t help his pain. “Bye, Jules.”
I put my head on my knees and sighed. I know he still loves her and I know how much he’s hurting. But I’m proud of him, tonight was the first night he directly asked me about her or if she was coming back. Usually he’ll just say ‘have you talked to the girls’ and I’ll say ‘yeah they’re great’ and then we’ll just start talking about something else.
I heard the doorbell and my mom calling me. I grabbed my phone, keys and wallet and went downstairs to meet Lydia. I opened the door expecting to see just her but what I got was Allison standing there smiling at me with a tiny ‘surprise I’m back!’ sign written quickly on notebook paper.
It took me a minute to register that it was her before I gasped loudly. “Bitch what are you doing here!” I screamed and hugged her.
“Surprise!” She hugged me back.
“I missed you so much!” I said as I pulled Lydia into the hug. “Lydia did you know about this?”
“Maaaaybe.” She smiled. “But come on you should’ve seen the look on your face!”
“I’m not even mad, I’m just happy the pack girls are back together again.”
“Well the pack girls need to get in the car cause we’re late.” Lydia said as she started walking toward the car.
Once we were in the car and driving, Allison and I stared at Lydia. I could tell she was trying to ignore us cause she’d look at us, smile and then look away really quickly. “What?” She smiled.
“Are you gonna tell us where we’re going?” Allison asked her.
“Just to meet some guys I met, they’re really cute.”
“I am in a committed relationship.” I laughed.
“Yeah, and I don’t wanna date.” Allison said.
“It’s not a double date!” Lydia said. “It’s a group thing!”
“Mhm,” Allison smiled. “Do they know it’s a group thing?”
“Yes!” Lydia replied. “And if they don’t then they definitely will when they see three of us instead of two.”
“Okay,” Allison gave her a look. “Cause Jules has Stiles and I told you I’m not ready to get back out there.”
“You were in France and didn’t do any dating?” Lydia asked.
“For four months?” I looked at Allison.
Allison shrugged. “Well did you? Ya know after-”
“Do not say his name!” Lydia cut her off.
“Is he okay?” Allison said.
“Yeah,” I said. “Did everything work out?”
“Well the doctors looked like total idiots when he turned up alive but everyone got over it.” Lydia explained. “And yes, Derek taught him the werewolf 101, like how not to randomly kill people during a full moon.”
“Oh,” I smirked. “So that means you’ve talked to him.”
“Uh,” Lydia said. “Not since he left for London.”
“You mean since his dad
moved
him to London.” Allison said.
“Whatever, he left.” Lydia rolled her eyes. “And seriously? An American werewolf in London? That’s gonna be a disaster.”
“Mhm,” I said. “So you’re like, totally over him?”
“Oh my god what’s with the third degree? Would I be going on a double date if I wasn’t!” Lydia said defensively.
“Aha!” Allison and I said in unison.
“So it
is
a date!” Allison said.
“Okay fine,” Lydia sighed. “It’s a date. It’s not like it’s an orgy, although it could be taken that way since there are three of us.” When we gave her a look she just rolled her eyes and stopped at the red light. “You’ll live.”
While we were at the red light a car pulled up beside it. I almost dismissed it but not even amnesia could make me forget Stiles’ Jeep. I looked up at him and then Scott in the car. I looked between them and then at Allison. Fuck. I could see the wheels turning in Stiles head and pointed my finger at him and waved it in a ‘no’ motion so he wouldn’t stir the pot. It was too late though, Allison and Scott had already made eye contact and it was….awkward and a little angsty.
“Oh my god, oh my god.” Allison looked down. “I can’t see him not now! Oh my god. Lydia drive please!”
“The lights red.” Lydia shrugged.
“Lydia!” I said.
“What? They were gonna see each other soon anyway. It might as well happen now.”
I looked over at Stiles and Scott again. Stiles was leaning past Scott to pull his window down and talk to us. Why must he be this way? I rolled my eyes and hit the back of Lydia’s seat. “Drive the car!”
Once Lydia saw what Stiles was doing she slammed her foot on the gas and we took off down the road. We started driving at normal speed when Allison let out a deep sigh.
“You okay?” I poked her shoulder.
“Yeah,” Allison nodded.
Behind us, the Jeep started moving so I assumed the light was green. I was about to text Stiles and tell him to spare Scott when Allison said something that really surprised me.
“Maybe we should go back and talk to them.” Allison bit her thumb nervously. Lydia didn’t question it and stopped the car.
“They stopped?” I said as I turned back to look at them. I was so confused.
“Why would they stop?” Allison said.
“It’s Scott and Stiles, do you really wanna try applying logic to those two?” Lydia said.
“A very, emphasis on very, valid question.” I laughed.
Before either of us could say anything a deer ran straight into the front of the car scaring the absolute shit out of all of us. We screamed and screamed until finally we realized we hadn’t gotten out of the car. By the time we got out Scott and Stiles were at the car.
“Are you okay?” Stiles grabbed me.
“Yeah,” I nodded. “I think so.”
“Me too.” Allison said and smiled at Scott.
“Well I’m not okay!” Lydia yelled. “I am totally freaking out! How the hell does it just run into us like that! I saw it’s eyes right before it hit us, it was like it was crazy.”
Scott walked to the front of the car to get a better look. “No, it was scared.” He said as he put his hand on it. “More like terrified.”
We all looked up at each other and then at the sky. The moon was full and bright. “Well,” I said. “That doesn’t sound good for us.”
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Stiles' P.O.V.“Did you know she was back?” Scott looked at Jules. After the mishap with the deer we called roadside assistance, then took Allison and Lydia home. “I didn’t,” Jules replied. “I thought I was just going out with Lydia and she surprised me.” “Would you have told me if you knew?” “Would it have made you feel any better?” She said. “She has a point, Scott.” I sighed. “But Allison is back. Are you gonna do anything about it?” “No,” he shook his head. “I don’t wanna push her. We can just be friends for now, I won’t do anything unless she initiates it first.” “That’s good!” Jules smiled. “So how about this tattoo? Lemme see it!” “I can’t,” Scott grumbled. “It healed.” “It what?” Jules said as she laughed.“It’s not funny!” Scott said. “It’s a little funny.” I laughed. “You guys are the worst best friends ever.” Scott rolled his eyes. We drove around and talked some more before I took Scott home. On the way to Jules’s house I couldn’t stop thinking of what happened. I know that deer related accidents are a thing but I never heard of a deer running straight into a car. Plus, the added bonus of Scott telling us just how terrified the deer was before it died. I’ve seen enough to know that this wasn’t random. “What’s going on in that head of yours?” Jules said. “The deer, I think it means something.” I said. “Do you know anything about it?”“Not really? I know animals can be omens for things to come and this could be one.” “But you’re not sure?”“Yeah,” she nodded. “I don’t want to say yes and then we start touching shit for no reason.” “Makes sense,” I said. “We’ll wait. If something happens again then we’ll know.” “Okay,” she smiled and then kissed me on the cheek. “Don’t be late picking me up tomorrow, it’s our first day of junior year!” “And our one year anniversary is coming up.” I grabbed her hand and kissed it. “I know, I can’t wait.” She said as she got out of the car. She walked around to my side and I rolled down the window. “See you in the morning, love you.” “Love you too,” I kissed her. I got up early, or I thought I did, so I would have time to do research before school. I had the time but then completely lost track of it. I was knee deep in deer lore when I heard my door open followed by my Dad and his deep sigh. Before he could say anything I started talking. “Do you know how many vehicle collinsons last year involved deer? 247,000.”“Oh god, please go to school.” He said. “But that’s crossing the road,” I ignored him. “The one last night came right down the middle.” “I’m not gonna beg you,” He said as he moved behind my chair. “Good, I’m impervious to your influence anyway.” I continued typing. “Would you consider a bribe?” “You couldn’t meet my price.” “What about Jules? Don’t you have to pick her up?” He said. “Okay yes,” I stopped typing. “But I still have five minutes.” “You had five minutes, five minutes ago.” He grabbed the back of my chair and pulled me away from my laptop. “Dad, wait what are you doing?” I said. I scrambled to get back to the computer to no avail. I grumbled and complained the entire way out of the house and into the Jeep until I was on the road to Jules’s. When I pulled up she was standing in her driveway looking at me like she wanted to kill me. As soon as she got in the car I started talking so she couldn’t yell. “Okay before you say anything know that yes, I have no impulse control and I was doing research which is why I’m late. But you made the conscious decision to love and date me so. Also you look really pretty.” I said. “Thank you,” she laughed. “And yes I did make the conscious decision to love and date you so start driving before I change my mind.” “Yeah, yeah,” I kissed her cheek and then started driving to school. After we got to school Jules left to go find Allison and Lydia. I found Scott and he was ranting about his tattoo or lack thereof and getting Derek’s help. “I’m sorry what?” I said. “You want to ask Derek for help? Why?” “Well cause he’s got the triskele on his back so there has to be a way to do it without it healing.” Scott explained.“Yeah but doesn’t he kinda have his hands full?” I motioned to the two missing persons pictures of Erica and Boyd. Before Scott could respond we heard yelling coming from the principal's office. We poked our heads around the door frame. The principal, our original principal picked up Gerard’s longsword and that was very obviously our queue to get the fuck away from there. First class of the day was English and somehow, we all had it together. Scott and I already had our seats when the girls walked in. Jules sat behind me, with Lydia across from her. Allison was about to sit down in front of her but some random guy stole her seat. Jules and Lydia looked at her awkwardly but I was smiling because I knew the only seat left was in front of Scott. Am I medaling? Yes. All of our phones started to buzz followed by the sound of someone talking. Looking up from our phones we saw that it was our teacher. She read off what was on our screens. “This is the last line to the first book we’re going to read in this class. It is also the last text you are going to receive in this class. Phones off everyone.” After that class had gotten underway. We had discussions and then we were given an assignment over what we thought the book would be about simply from the title and synopsis on the back. While we were doing the assignment I noticed Allison pass a note to Scott. He saw me looking and flashed me what was written on the note. It said: can we talk? Finally a step in the right direction. I turned to look at Jules and she smiled at me. Even though she’s technically Switzerland when it comes to the Scott and Allison situation but I know she wants them back together just as much as I do. It was because of this that I was able to convince her to get that guy to sit in Allison’s seat so she’d have no choice but to sit with Scott. A dream team if I’ve ever seen one. Before Scott could hand the note back to Allison, the principal walked in and whispered something to Ms.Blake. Apparently Melissa called the school and said to have Scott come to hospital. It’s the first day of school and she’d never pull him out after all the school we missed last year so something has to be wrong. I was about to get up too but Scott stopped me. “Stay here,” he whispered quickly. “If something’s really wrong I’ll text you guys.” Class continued on normally for everyone else but I couldn’t stop thinking. First the deer and then Melissa pulling Scott out. Something is definitely wrong. I looked over at Lydia and noticed she had a bandaid on her ankle. “Hey, Lydia,” I nudged her. “Is that on your ankle from the accident?”“No,” she said. “Prada bit me.” “Your dog?” I questioned.“No, my designer handbag,” she smiled. “Yes, my dog.” “Has it ever bitten you before?” I asked and she shook her head no. “Okay, what if it’s like the same thing with the deer? You know how animals start acting weird right before an earthquake or something?” “Meaning what? That there’s gonna be an earthquake.”“Or something! None of this is a coincidence. Maybe it means something’s coming. Something bad.” “It was a deer and a dog. What’s that thing you say about threes?” Lydia asked Jules. “Once, twice-”Before Lydia could finish her sentence a bird slammed itself into the window, leaving a bloody mark on it. Lydia jumped, Jules tensed and her eyes got wide like she knew what was about to happen. I turned my attention back towards the window and saw hundreds of birds coming right at us. They started hitting the windows one by one until the glass shattered and they were inside, attacking themselves and everyone in the room. Instinctively I grabbed Jules and Lydia, moving all three of us to the floor and covering them as best I could. I looked around for Allison and she was under her desk, protected. I looked at Jules and she nodded. Her eyes closed for a second and then the birds either fell to the ground or flew back out the window. Once everything settled the classroom looked horrible, like it had been ransacked and truthfully it kind of was. There were black feathers everywhere and several people were bleeding. I couldn’t tell if it was from the birds or the panic that had spread through the classroom. It was most likely both. I slowly rose to my feet, helping the girls up as I went. Everyone seemed afraid and concerned but for them it was different. For them, this was just some weird thing that happened in class. But for us, it meant something far worse. It meant that once again I was right and that we probably had a big problem coming for us if it wasn’t already here. Ms.Blake called the police as we all sat around trying to collect ourselves. “What the hell just happened?” Allison said. “I don’t know,” I said. “But this is the third time so I think we can all agree it’s not a coincidence anymore.” “It’s not,” Jules sighed. “Has anyone heard from Scott?” “Not yet,” the three of us replied. “Okay, obviously they’re going to cancel class at least for the next hour or two so you guys stay here, try to figure some stuff out and I’ll go to hospital and see what’s up with Scott?” Jules offered. “Yeah that sounds good,” I said. “Let us know what you find.” “I will.” She said and then slipped out of the classroom when no one was looking. Thirty minutes later my Dad and Argent showed up. Argent more for Allison and my Dad obviously brought a few other officers who were checking on people and getting statements. Argent was whispering something to Allison when my Dad walked over to them, asking if they knew anything about animals doing this. There was an awkward tension hanging in the air. Argent wanted to be rid of all the supernatural bullshit for good reason. My Dad was just frustrated and confused ‘cause he has no idea what’s going on. The bad things seemed to be starting all around already and it’s only Monday. Jules’ P.O.V.As expected, Stiles was slightly late when he picked me up for school. I knew he was gonna get lost in research, he knew it too cause the entire ride to school he kept trying to butter me up. I wasn’t even mad, I know who my boyfriend is. A hot ass mess. Once we got to school I went off to find Allison and Lydia, I found them at Allison’s locker.“Ladies,” I smiled and walked up to them. “Freshman,” Lydia smirked as she scanned the hallways. “Tons and tons of fresh men.” “You mean fresh boys?” Allison said, grabbing things from her locker. “Yeah, come on Lyds they're like fourteen,” I laughed.“Eh,” Lydia waved us off. “Some are more mature than others.” “You know it’s okay to be single,” Allison said. “Take some time, focus on yourself for a little while. Work on becoming a better person and all that.” “Allison,” Lydia smiled. “I love you. So if you need to do that thing where we talk about me and pretend like we’re not actually talking about you, it’s totally fine. But I don’t want a boyfriend.” “Then what do you want?” I asked. “I want a distraction,” Lydia smiled again and winked at one of the boys passing by her. Allison and I laughed while Lydia zeroed in on something or someone down the hall. I looked up and saw two very tall boys walking down the hall with motorcycle helmets in their hands. I could see the wheels turning in Lydia’s head already. “Brothers?” I smiled. “Twins.” Lydia said mischievously. “Alright come on, gotta get to class.” We started walking to class and I linked arms with Allison. “You know if you want to, you could always talk to Scott about it.”“What?” She looked at me. “I know you still have some feelings and well, obviously you know he does too. I’m not telling you what to do but you guys also haven’t spoken for like four months. Even if it’s just a friend talk, you should talk.” I said. “Okay,” she nodded. “I’ll try that.” I pulled out my phone and texted Stiles to let him know that I’d convinced her to talk to him. All that was left was to make sure they sat together which was easy because I made sure it would happen. I’m Switzerland, but they’re both my friends and sometimes they need a little push. Sadly the plan was skewed by Melissa pulling Scott out of class. Next thing I knew birds were attacking the classroom. Not only was it in threes but birds behaving like this is a witch's omen for bad tidings. I knew whatever it meant, it wasn’t good and that whatever Melissa needed at the hospital probably wasn’t good either so I left and went to the hospital to help Scott. When I got there I ran into Scott on the elevator.“What are you doing here?” Scott looked at me. “Something happened at school and I figured you’d need help here if your Mom pulled you out,” I shrugged.“Okay, well there’s something wrong with Isaac.” “He’s here!” I yelled. “They found him?”“Yeah but it’s not good. I’m gonna go to the floor he’s on and you check the O.R. floor okay?” Scott said. “Got it.” I replied. I took the stairs to the O.R. floor but I couldn’t find him. I asked a nurse if she knew anything about Isaac. She told me they took him out of surgery because he didn’t need it. Well yeah, I thought in my head, he probably healed. When I asked her who took him back to his room she said she didn’t know. How the fuck could she not know?By the time I got back to the second floor, there was a very large man being thrown out of the elevator and sliding down the hall toward me. I looked up and saw Derek, Scott and a passed out Isaac inside the elevator. “Aren’t the two of you supposed to be in school?” Derek looked back and forth between me and Scott. “And where the hell have you been?” I said to him, “Busy,” Derek smiled at me. “Both of you help me with Isaac.” We successfully snuck Isaac out of the hospital and took him to Derek’s old house. Isaac was still unconscious when Derek laid him down on the table and it was starting to worry me. My phone started ringing, it was a text from Stiles. Stiles❤️: did you find anything?
Yeah, meet us at Derek’s
Stiles❤️: Derek’s? It’s too much to explain over text just get here “You don’t still live here do you?” I asked Derek as I looked around at the mess that’d become this house. “No,” he said. “The county took it over but there’s something here that I need. It’ll help heal a wound from an alpha.” “But it did heal?” Scott said. “Not on the inside,” Derek replied. “Are you gonna tell me who that was back there?” Scott asked. “That other alpha?”“A rival pack,” Derek answered. “It’s my problem. I know you want to help and you did. I owe you one. Now go home. Go back to being a teenager.”“We can’t just go home,” I said. “Isaac is our friend too. And we can’t just go back to being teenagers, especially not after everything that’s happened.”Scott grabbed my arm like he was about to pull away but he stopped, grabbing his own arm instead. “Hey Derek,” he said. “If you wanna repay back that favor now I know a way you can do it.”While Scott explained the part about the tattoo healing, Stiles had gotten there and filled us in on what we missed when I left the class. Derek tried to heal Isaac with the wolfsbane but it wasn’t working, the wound kept reopening. “I don’t understand,” Derek sighed. “Why isn’t it working?” “Because it’s too much and Isaac is too tired.” I said as I put my hand on Isaac’s chest. “I think I can help you though.” “Really?” Derek said. “Yeah,” I nodded as my eyes turned white. “Let me see the wolfsbane.” He handed it to me and I cupped it in my hands. I whispered a few words and as the wolfsbane started to glow, I crushed it in my hand then gave it back to Derek. “Okay it should work now.” Derek tried it again and Isaac let out a deep sigh from his comatose state. Derek’s eyes flashed red and he nodded, letting us know that the wound had completely healed. Derek had Scott sit down and show him where his tattoo used to be. “Yeah, I see it,” Derek said. “It’s two bands, right? What does it mean?” “I don’t know,” Scott said as he traced the design into the dust on the table. “It’s just something I came up with, tracing with my fingers.” “Why is it so important to you?” Derek asked. “Do you know what the word tattoo means?” Scott asked. “To mark something.” Stiles smiled.“Yeah in Tahitian,” Scott explained. “In Samoan it means open wound. I knew I wanted to get a tattoo when I turned eighteen, I always wanted one. I decided to get one now as kind of a reward.” “Reward for what?” Derek looked at him. “For not calling or texting Allison all summer. Even when I really wanted to, even when it was all I could think about. She said she wanted the summer to think and I wanted to give that to her.” Scott said. “Four months later and it still hurts.” “Like an open wound,” Stiles nodded. “Okay,” Derek nodded and then picked up a blowtorch. “The pain is gonna be worse than anything you’ve ever felt.”“Ah, that sounds great.” Stiles sighed. Derek flicked the torch and a huge flame came out. “Oh wow that’s a lot for me. I’m gonna take that as my queue to leave.” “No you’re not,” Derek grabbed his arm. “You’re gonna help Jules keep him still.” “Oh my god.” I put my face in my hands. Slowly, Stiles and I put both our hands on his shoulders. We all braced ourselves and then Derek let the first flick of the flame touch Scott’s skin. He started screaming immediately, his fangs protruding and his eyes glowing yellow. I was already working up a sweat holding him down and Derek was barely started. An hour later, it was done. Scott had passed out halfway through the process but he got what he wanted. His open wound, two bands around his arm. He woke up startled but smiled when he saw that it was done. “Well it looks pretty damn permanent now,” Stiles said as Scott put his shirt back on. “Yeah, well after everything that’s happened to us I kinda needed something permanent.” Scott said. “Everything’s so uh, ephemeral.” “Ephemeral?” I questioned. “Are you studying for the PSATs?” Stiles asked. “Yeah,” Scott smiled. He opened the door but stopped. “You painted the door,” he looked over at Derek. “Why’d you paint the door?”“Go home, Scott.” Derek waved us off. “Why only one side?” Scott let out his claws. “Scott!” Derek tried to stop him.Scott didn’t listen. He slashed at the door until the paint was gone and all that was left was a weird symbol made of triangles. I knew it was the symbol of a pack. I just didn’t know which one. “The birds at school and then the deer last night,” Scott said. “Just like the night I got trampled by the deer when I got bit by an alpha. How many are there?” “A pack of ‘em,” Derek sighed. “An alpha pack.” “A pack of alphas?” I looked between them. “All of them?” Stiles asked. “How does that even work?” “There’s supposed to be some kind of leader.” Derek explained. “I think he’s called Deucalion.” “Deucalion?” I said. “Yeah. We know they have Boyd and Erica. Peter, Isaac and I have been looking for them the last four months.” Derek said. “So let’s say you find them,” Scott said. “How do you deal with an alpha pack?”“With all the help I can get,” Derek said plainly. We all nodded in agreement. Of course we were gonna help, why wouldn’t we? Before we could say anything else Isaac woke up. “Where’s the girl?” He said. “What girl?” I looked at him. “The girl who saved me.” Isaac looked between us like we were supposed to know.Fuck, I guess bad things really do come in threes.
