“The kiss didn’t work.” Hook says defeated as he bursts through the diner. “You said it would work.” He yells towards Belle. Regina surprised tilts her head with angry eyebrows “What do you mean it didn’t work?” Hook gives a sad look around to Snow, Regina and Belle and says “I kissed her and she felt nothing. The curse didn’t break; she is still The Dark One. “ He shakes his head. “I mean it didn’t even start to work like it did for you, Belle. “They could see the wheels turning in Regina’s mind. She gets this far off look like she can physically see the puzzle she is solving in her mind. He must not be her true love, she thinks as a mischievous grin spreads across her face. “We’ll see about that.” Regina turns and storms out towards Emma’s house. The bell dings as she leaves and the group is a bit confused. Snow runs out “Regina!” she calls after her. But Regina disappears in a cloud of purple smoke and Snow is left to curse magic. She walks back into the diner with the others. “What do you think she meant?” Belle asks Snow. Snow frowns and crinkles her nose and answers. “I don’t know.” She tilts her head and looks at Hook and says. “Hey don’t worry, that look Regina had, that’s her face when she has figured something out. She can fix this, I’m sure.” Hook half smiles “Yea well I wish she would have clued us in on it.” Snow nods “Well that’s Regina. She doesn’t like to voice her resolutions until she is sure. “ ---Regina arrives at Emma’s and rings the door bell. The door opens and Emma appears in her all black leather jacket and pants with her white hair slicked back in a bun. “Regina, what can I do for you?” She says with a tilt to her head almost condescending. “Shut up Swan!” Regina demands as she grabs her by the collar of her jacket, pulls her to her with all her strength and crashes her lips into the Dark One’s. Emma leans into the kiss, kissing back with passion and desire. Sparks fly literally, magic surrounds them, and slowly the darkness fades away until all that is left is Emma, Regina and the long awaited confession that came with the kiss. Looking into Regina’s eyes, Emma smiles “You saved me.” “I told you I would.” Regina answers with a hand on the now blondes face. “I will always save you. “---Regina and Emma enter the diner hand in hand and all heads turn. “Emma!” Snow lunges for Emma and hugs her, Emma still holding Regina’s hand hugs her mom back with her free arm. Snow steps back still holding Emma’s shoulders with a huge smile. “You’re back, but how?” She looks to Regina. Regina shrugs “True Love’s kiss I suppose.”“But how love?” Hook comes toward Emma “was it a delayed reaction? It just took time?” Regina still holding Emma’s hand catches him with her free hand “Ah ah Pirate, not you, me. I kissed her.” Regina keeps her regal posture, her neck turned so slightly and the I run this show, matter of fact smirk plastered on her face. "I'm her True Love." The diner is silent shock on all faces and all Emma and Regina can do is laugh.
