Everyone should know the legend. The legend of ‘Flesh, Bone and Soul” and ancient creatures. How these ‘creatures’ split into three organisms. One of bone. One of flesh. One of soul. The bone was buried underground waiting to be born again. The one of flesh retreated and lived in the ocean. The one of soul now lives on the moon. This is a different story of a creature similar to bone but was not born from the ground. It is said that they came from the stars and fell to Earth. It was found interesting when one of these new creatures were born on the same day a gem with a hardness level of 10 was born as well. Sensei Kongo always finds them and assigns them with those level 10 gems. Sadly, they are always captured in the end. Taken to the moon. They were fast and had the same interesting abilities as their level 10. They had a hardness level 2.5. A weak creature. These ‘creatures’ were known as Pearls.5 level 10s were known. Red, Green, Yellow, Bort and normal Diamond. 5 Pearls were known.Green Diamond was assigned with a Green Pearl. Green Pearl had a sweet yet quite nature. They really cared about their Diamond and wouldn’t hesitate to put themself in danger. They would always go on patrol duty with Green Diamond. Nothing much was known about them due to their quiet personality. The only person that truly knew them was Green Diamond. They was captured trying the protect their Diamond. They were able to protect them but got shot by many arrows and was taken away. Green Diamond was then partnered with Yellow Diamond and soon met the same fate. Green Pearl had long green hair that was tied into a thin ponytail that hung over their right shoulder. Their eyes were the same color as her hair. Before, Yellow Diamond had a Yellow Pearl. Yellow Pearl may have looked serious but they were actually talkative and had a bubbly personality. They got along really well with the others. They liked hanging out with their Diamond but always makes room to hang out with the other gems. They get really serious when it comes to fighting the Lunarians. They are the fastest Pearl and could actually almost keep up with Yellow Diamond. Yellow Diamond was still faster than them. If one would ask around, other gems would say that they express themselves to much and needs to act a little more mature. They were captured saving Yellow Diamond. While running to report to Master Kendo, a arrow was fired at Yellow Diamond. Yellow Pearl blocked the way and got hit instead. Right through the neck. They smiled and told Yellow to run. They were then taken away by the Lunarians. Yellow Diamond was later paired with Green Diamond. They had long yellow hair that reached up to their waist and the came out like spikes. Their eyes were slightly lighter than their hair. Bort being the strongest gem, got the strongest Pearl. Black Pearl was very serious and strict but she got along well with other gems. During patrol, Bort and Black Pearl never really talk. Bort gave Black Pearl a lot of advise and they took it to heart. They would always fix their mistakes depending on what Bort has told them. They had fast reflexes as long as they held a sword. They spent most of their time sharpening other gems and her own sword. Secretly, Black Pearl could be very gentle in certain ways. She was taken away by a new device the Lunarians created. A net. A strong one at that. The net grabbed on to them. No matter the struggle, they couldn’t break free. They were gone. Bort was soon paired up with Diamond. They had slick black hair that reached to the middle of her back. Their eyes were as well dark black. Then the youngest Diamond...Diamond. They would have been called Pearl. If only they made it to Earth. When falling, they missed the Earth and landed on the moon. The Lunarians grabbed them easily. If they landed on Earth, They would have had short white-ish hair. Their eyes would have been the same color. They would have been paired with Diamond but it never happened. Pearl never got to meet Diamond. The final one. Their birth was unknown. They were born in the winter a few season after Antarcticite was born. They were given the name Arctic Pearl. They were the first one Antarcticite was assigned with. Like Antarcticite, they got stronger depending on how cold the weather was. Unlike Antarcticite, they don't turn into liquid in Fall, Spring or Summer. They are only immobile. They have a similar personality to Antarcticite but they can be more cheerful then Antarticite. They smiled very time Antarcticite gets a hug or gets affection from Sensei Kendo. They get flustered when it is given to them. They were captured by protecting Antarcticite. A similar way from when Green Pearl was taken. They had short white hair that almost seemed transparent. The left side eye was covered by their hair. Their right eyes were the color of a light grey.The moon was cold but not dark. It was peaceful yet noisy. Nothing else can be said. The moon was one hell of a place. The Lunarians were patient. They were gathering. They believe that they have all the pieces they need to create what needs to be created. A humanoid figure. It was almost complete. It just needed a few more things. The Lunarians will once again go hunt when the sun arrives. For now, they will enjoy the moon. They will talk and dance. They will wait.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
It is complete.The gems were doing the usual things. They were patrolling the area. Preparing for the arrival of Lunarians. Phosphophyllite was with the Amethyst twins, like always. Waiting. So far, nothing. Phos was laying down in the grass, Phos’ golden arms behind their head. Phos took a deep breath then stood up. “Anything?” asked Phos. The Amethyst both looked at Phos and replied, “No.” They said this in unison. Phos sighed. “Phos! Amethyst!” cried a voice. They all turned to the direction of the voice. It was Goshenite. “Goshe.” said Phos. Goshe seemed to be out of breath. They were leaning on their knees. “A Lunarian. The new type.” huffed Goshe. Phos eyes went wide and Phos sped off. The Amethyst twins and Goshe followed. There was a Lunarian ship. The vessel has already been cut but weapons were hanging out of it. Elongated weapons. Red gems at the tip of it. “It’s Ruby.” said the Amethyst twins. The Lunarians turned shards of Ruby into spears. Morganite was fighting them off. They have already lost an arm. “Morga!” called Phos. Morga turned to their direction. “Sensei will be here soon.” They explained. Phos and the Amethyst twins nodded. They continued to fight the Lunarians. Sensei arrived shortly after. “Sensei.” called the gems. “I’ll take care of this.” said Sensei. The gems backed away. Sensei, doing what he always does, destroys the Lunarians ship with a snap of his fingers. Except, when the ship dispersed something fell. It crashed right under where the ship should've been. The gems gasped and ran to where the object fell. Sensei followed behind them. All their eyes grew wide when they saw what is was.It was bright and glowing. Shiny just like Diamond. Bright. Colorful. It looked like a gem but with no makeup. It just looked shiny. Everything but it’s hair was shiny. The hair was pure black. Sensei picked it up. “So bright.” he muttered. They took it back to the school. Phos and the others were following him. They were heading towards Rutile. “Rutile.” said Sensei. Rutile jolted awake. Rutile was lying down on the porch. They didn’t hear them come in. “Oh. Sensei.” said Rutile. “AH!” Rutile got startled by the light. “What is that?” they asked. “We don’t know.” responded Phos. Sensei laid the thing on a nearby table. “Could you put that powder on her so she is easier to look at?” asked Sensei. “Y-yes Sensei.” replied Rutile. He nodded and walked away. The Amethyst twins and Goshe followed. Morganite remained to be repaired. Phos remained to watch. Rutile repaired Morganite’s arm and then got to work on the thing. Applying white powder everywhere they can. “Why are you still here?” asked Rutile. “Ah!.” cried Phos. “You see I wanted to..” Rutile sighed, “Save it I’m almost done.” Rutile patted on the rest of the powder and sighed. Now the creature looks like them. Like a gem.It’s still unconscious. Rutile left to report to Sensei that it was finished. Phos was sitting on the porch watching it. “What are you?” Phos muttered. It stirs. Phos raises her head. It moved again but this time it sits up. “AHH!” cried Phos. The thing looked at her. It seemed confused. “W-Who..” It never finished the thought due to Phos’ screams. Sensei and Rutile arrived. “Phos what is…” began Rutile. They were cut off when they saw the creature moving. It looks at Rutile and Sensei. “S-Sensei.” It says. “I remember Sensei.” Phos and Rutile look at Sensei. His eyes were wide, yet he said nothing. He walks up to her. “What is your name?” He asked it. It thinks for a moment. “I don’t know. We are Pearls.”Sensei was looking shocked. Phos and Rutile looked at one another. “Pearls?” said Phos, clearly confused. The Pearl smiled, “It’s good to see you again, Sensei.” Sensei broke into a gentle smile. He patted their head. Suddenly, Pearl’s black hair turned white and slightly transparent. “Oh?” said Sensei. The gem took a breath. When Sensei removes his hand, Pearl’s hair returned to normal. “That…” He said. The Pearl opened their eyes. Their eyes were rainbow color. Like their skin was except less bright. “Sensei!” cried a voice. A green gem came running in. “Jade.” said Rutile. The Pearl looked at Jade and her hair turned green. Sensei noticed that too. “Another Lunarian ship has appeared on the Southeast side.” Jade reported. Sensei nodded. “Pearls. Come with me.” Sensei said. The Pearls nodded. That was when Jade noticed them. “Who is that?” No one said anything. Sensei was on the move. Pearl and Phos right behind him. They left Jade and Rutile back at the school. Pearl hair returned to normal. Bort and Diamond were fighting off the Lunarians. Bort was doing most of the work. Bort noticed Sensei but got distracted by Pearl. Bort’s eyes went wide and they didn’t notice the arrow being fired at them. The arrow didn’t hit Bort. When Bort looked, Pearl blocked the arrow with a sword. They looked serious. Bort recaught their balance and landed on the ground. “Where did they…” Phos began to say. They turned around. Phos was missing their sword. “AH!” Sensei was watching and observing so was Bort.‘It fights like them.’ Bort thought. ‘It fight like Black.’ The Pearl fought the Lunarians straight on. Slash. Poof goes the Lunarians on the right. Slash. Poof goes the Lunarians in the left. “Enough.” said Sensei. Pearl heard him and jumped of the ship. Sensei once again destroys the ship. Leaving nothing behind. Pearl gave Phos back the sword. “You fight well.” says Sensei. Pearl bows slightly, “Thank you, Sensei.” Pearl looked at Bort. Bort was looking at her in shock. “Bort.” said a voice. Bort turned around. It was Diamond. “Dia.” responded Bort. “What happened?” Dia asked. Bort looked back at Pearl. “I don’t know.”Pearl was always with Sensei. Some of the gems still haven’t met Pearl yet. Sensei has been calling Pearl, Bow. Short for Rainbow Pearl. Now it seems to feel comfortable around Sensei and it seems Sensei wants Bow to be in eye range. Like expected, Bow is a really good fighter. They have well coordinated reflexes and stance. Bow uses a elongated sword. Obsidian made it for them. When they met Obsidian, their hair once again turned green. Bow is nervous when meeting other gems. Obsidian though became fascinated with the new gem. Obsidian gave Bow the sword and Bow was ready to fight. They only fight when Sensei wants them to though. Bow’s hair does not turn green around Bort. In fact, it stays the same. Bow looks at Bort like they knew them and are trying to remember. Sensei was walking around the school. Rumors spread all around of Bow’s existence. Some gems were tailing Sensei just to get a good look at Bow but Sensei was trying to hide them. It makes Bow’s hair turn white and transparent. No one could see them. They tried asking the gems that have seen Bow but it was hard for them to describe Bow’s look. Bow did want to meet the others but Sensei says it is not yet time.Bow was looking in the river. They were watching the jellyfish swim. Their hair was yellow. They were smiling and laughing as the jellyfish jumped out of the pond to greet them. As if to say, ‘Good to see you again.’ Sensei let Bow go off on its own for now. Just this once. One day, Bow was left alone and they were caught. Yellow Diamond. “Who are you?” Bow turned around. Their hair was about to turn green but it slowly turned back to yellow. “Sensei calls me Rainbow Pearl. Bow for short.” replied Bow. With the word Pearl, Yellow backed up. “Pearl…” muttered Yellow. Bow smiled and nodded. Yellow smiled too and sat down next to Bow.Bow returned to Sensei. “How was it?” He asked. Their hair was still yellow. “It was great.” Bow said smiling. “I got to see Yellow again.” Sensei stopped and looked at her. “Again?” Bow nodded. “It feels like I’ve met them. No, I have met them” Sensei thought for a moment. “I have an idea.” Bow looked up at him puzzled. “I will introduce you to your siblings tomorrow.” Bow gleamed. They were happy. Very happy. Then their hair turned green. “What if they don’t like me.” Sensei sighed. “They’ll like you. They are already interested in you.” He got up and patted their head. Bow’s hair turned white and transparent. “Thank you; Sensei.” Sensei removed his hand and their hair returned to black. “I’m ready.”
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Today is the day. Sensei was about to introduce Bow to the other gems. Bow was excited yet nervous. Sensei was there so Bow was calm. They were hiding behind him. All the gems gathered around the table ready to start the morning meeting. ”Before we begin. I have something to say.” The gems fell silent. Sensei called up Phos and they explained what happened the day Bow fell. “The Lunarian ship dropped something when it was destroyed.” concluded Phos. Sensei moves his kimono. “Come on out.” Bow slowly made herself known. Their hair was green and they were clutching onto Sensei. “This is Rainbow Pearl or Bow.” explained Sensei. The gems were all surprised. They were leaning on the table to get a better look. Bow caught notice of both Yellow and Borts. Their hair turned back to normal and they stepped out.“Hello.” They said. “AHHH!” gasped the gems. Bow looked surprised at that reaction. Questions filled the room. “When were they born?” “What are they?” “Why were they on a Lunarian ship?” Bow felt overwhelmed so they backed up. Sensei put his hand up and the room went quiet. “Enough. Bow may not have all the answers to your questions.” said Sensei “Rutile.” Rutile stood up straight. “Yes Sensei?” Sensei smiles, “I’m leaving Bow in you care for the day.” Rutile was taken aback. Bow was fine with it. After the meeting, Bow followed Rutile to the medic room, where Rutile works. Their hair was green. “I want to learn more about you.” said Rutile. Bow got nervous. Others have told them of Rutile liking to dissect things. Rutile noticed. “Don’t worry. I won’t dissect you.” Rutile turned away. “I do want to, though.” They muttered. Rutile grabbed a hammer from the self. Bow sighed and their hair turned back to black. “A hardness test?” Rutile nodded. “You know what that is?” Bow nodded. Rutile wrote something down in a notepad. Rutile gently taped Bow’s arm with the hammer. There was a soft ring then a crack. Rutile once again wrote something down on the notepad. Rutile then fixed the crack in Bow’s arm. The rest of the day was mostly tests.Borts on the other hand was thinking. “Borts?” called a voice. It was Diamond. Borts turned to them. “Are you okay?” Dia asked. “You seem to be distracted.” Borts looked away. They were distracted. It was Bow. They were so familiar that it bothered Borts. ‘Why?’ Borts thought. ‘Why do I know them.’ Borts was thinking. They couldn’t even hear Dia call out their name. It’s fine. No sign of Lunarians anyway. Lunarians. Pearl. That black hair it had. Borts eyes went wide and they ran. “Borts?!” cried Dia. To late, Borts was gone. They remember. Why did they forget? Was it because it was so long ago? Doesn’t matter. Borts was running. They needed to find Bow. They were able to. They seemed to be walking towards Sensei’s place. Bow was holding a notepad. “Bow!” called Borts. Bow stopped walking and turned to Borts direction. “B-borts.” Borts stopped running. “Do you know me?” They asked. Bow did not answer immediately. They smiled and nodded. “Barely, but yes.” They smiled. Borts didn’t know what to think or say so Bow smiled and waved goodbye. Bow is going to report to Sensei. “How was it?” He asked. “It went well.” explained Bow. “I have a hardness level 3.” Sensei nodded. “Also.” began Bow. Sensei looked at them with interest. “I remember Borts.” Sensei looked at her with anticipation. “How much.” Bow shook her head. “Not much. Just how I was taken.” Sensei sighed and stood up. He gently hugged Bow. This time their hair didn’t change color. “I’m sorry.” said Sensei. Bow looked up at him. They smiled gently. “It was worth it to protect Borts.”Borts was listening in. To shocked for words but too proud to show it.

Bow has been getting used to walking around on their own and meeting all the others gems, officially. There are still some they haven’t truly met yet. Bow has had hard time sleeping for the last few days. They have been anxious to do something. They don’t know this feeling, yet it feels familiar. They sigh. It was night. The moon was full and bright. They got up and walked around the school. Everyone else was sleeping. There was that strange feeling again. They need to ask next time. Bow decided to take a trip outside. The night was beautiful. The ocean was shimmering and sparkling. It was quiet and peaceful. They liked it. They walked up a hill. Other gems say this is where another gem name Heliodor was taken by the Moon People. It’s faint but there was a small part of Bow that seemed to know Heliodor. They look at the moon. They were thinking about Borts.Borts seemed surprised to see them. Borts was surprised when Bow said that they remember them. It left them curious. Did they know each other before? Did they get along well? All these memories are so very faint. They want to remember. They want to remember Yellow Diamond. Both Borts and Yellow have been tugging at Bow’s mind. Every time, they think of Yellow, their hair turns yellow. When they think of Borts, their hair remains black. Bow stands. They begin to run. Faster and faster. As fast as they can. As they run, their hairs turns yellow. They begin to laugh. They were having fun. Then…They trip..A memory. They ran like this before. So hard to grasp.They can see a mirror. Their reflection shined in it. They looked like what Yellow Pearl did a long time ago. They are running again. Like before but this time with someone. No, they are trying to keep up with someone.“Yellow-san I can't keep up!” Yellow Pearl cried. The one in front of them has stopped. It was Yellow Diamond. “Yella. If you don’t push yourself you’ll never reach me.” Yella smiled. “I’m trying.” They were out of breath. Yella was leaning on their knees taking breath after breath. Yellow smiled and put their hands on their hips. “We can stop here then.” said Yellow. Yella looked up and shook her head. “No I got this. Let’s go.” said Yella. “Besides Padparadscha is waiting.” Yellow nodded and ran. Yella followed once again trying to keep up. This time, they did.Bow woke up. Their hair was yellow. They remember Yellow Diamond. They remember them. They were happy. Yella was happy but their not called Yella anymore. It’s Bow. They smiled as their hair turned back to black. Bow then caught a glimpse of something. They moved in closer. It was a gem. A gem they didn’t recognize. It had a type of red hair and it was walking along the side of the beach. Some kind of liquid was floating all around them. Bow has never seen this one before. They decided that they will ask the others. They returned to the school where they finally got some sleep. The next day, Bow’s hair was completely yellow and stayed that way. They were looking for Yellow Diamond. They were able to find them with another gem named Zircon. “Yellow!” cried Bow. Yellow and Zircon immediately noticed Bow. They waved. “Hello Bow. I’m Zircon.” introduces Zircon. This was the first time Bow officially met Zircon. They smiled. “Nice to meet you.” They turned to Yellow. “I want to run with you again!” They cried. Yellow’s eyes were wide. “Again?” Bow nodded. “I remember when we did. When we teamed up.” Yellow covered her mouth. “You remember me?” Bow nodded. “Took a while but yes.” Yellow seemed to be so happy. They nodded, “Yes, we can run again someday.” Bow became super happy. Then they remembered. “Oh right I was wondering.” Yellow and Zircon listened.Bow explained the whole story on what happened last night and who they saw. “That was Cinnabar.” explained Yellow. “Cinnabar?” Yellow nodded. “They work the night shift and never gets involved with us.” Bow nodded then looked at Zircon. “Are you teamed up with Yellow?” They asked. “Uh. Yeah.” Zircon said. Bow smiled. “It’s always nice to meet someone new.” Yellow thought for a moment. “Bow, how about you join us for patrol today?” Bow looked at her with shock and disbelief. “Really?” Yellow nodded. “At least until Sensei gives you a job.” Bow nodded. They wanted a chance on the field with Yellow again. Zircon was in agreement.The day went by quickly. A Lunarian ship came but it was quickly destroyed by Borts and Diamond. Nothing anyone really needed to worry about. It was an old type. Bow had a lot of fun with Yellow Diamond and Zircon. Word soon spread about Bow’s memories. It eventually reached Sensei. Bow and Sensei talked about it. Sadly, Yellow is the only one they really remember fully. They do hope that the same thing will happen with Borts. They just seemed so sad. Bow wanted their memories back. They wanted to set things right.Bow did ask about that weird feeling that they felt that night. Sensei explained it as ‘boredom.’
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Sensei Kendo was pondering in his room. He was thinking about Bow. They were similar to him in a way that no gem knows about. He prefers to keep it to himself. Sensei wanted to give Bow an official job. It was hard to think of a job for them. Different gems in one body is very difficult to place. Especially since all the Pearls that make up Bow are all different. Green liked working in the library. Yella liked to strategize. Black liked to sharpen swords. Artic did the winter job with Antarcticite. They were all different. What Sensei didn’t know is Bow’s love for organization. Bow would always go around and help all the other gems organize their things. That is how they met more gems. Such as, Ghost Quartz And Alexandrite. Bow’s meetings with Ghost and Alex were interesting.Ghost was walking around the library then they noticed Bow looking at some history books. “Hello Bow.” Bow stopped what they were doing and looked at them. Ghost then introduced themselves as Ghost Quartz. Bow learned a lot that day. They learned that Ghost is double layered. Like Bow, except Bow has for known layers. Being double layered caused Ghost to have another personality built into their body. Bow’s layers also contains multiple personalities but they made peace with each other and became one single gem. Ghost even introduced Lapis to Bow or at least the head of them. Ghost and Bow got along very well. Alex was heading back to their room. They just came back from recorded the most recent Lunarian ship. They were tired. When they got to their room, Bow was there. “AHH!!” Alex cried. Bow flinched. “Sorry.” Bow said, bowing in apology. Alex smiled and gathered up all the papers they dropped. “It’s ok.” Bow helped them gather everything. “What were you doing in here, Bow?” asked Alex. “I was curious.” replied Bow. They looked at Alex. Alex caught notice. “Oh, I’m Alexandrite but everyone calls me Alex.” Bow smiled, “It’s nice to meet you.” Bow looked around. The place was a mess. “Do you think I can help you clean up?” Bow asked. Alex looked at them and thought for a moment. “Sure.” they said smiling. Bow and Alex worked together to clean up the room. After that Bow went back to the library. Ghost was not here so Bow decided to explore. Bow then found a book laying on the table. They grabbed it and opened to the first page. There was a sketch of Red Diamond and some information on them. Bow’s eyes went wide. Red Diamond. They know them too. They can’t make it out. It hurts their head just thinking about it. Bow took a deep breath and turned to the next page. There was a page that was ripped out. Bow stared at it. ‘Who was that?’ They thought. They flipped through the pages. Most of these gems, Bow already knew. Some they have never seen once. It was because these gems were on the moon. A Green Diamond was among them. A Green Diamond. First Red. Now Green. Bow found the page for Cinnabar. They read it thoroughly. Turns out the liquid that Bow saw that night was poisonous. They continued to flip through the pages. They landed on Lapis Lazuli’s page. They were taken to the moon also. “You know, that book was organized by Lapis.” Bow flinched and turned around. It was Ghost. Bow looks down at the book. “I didn’t know that.” Bow then closed the book and left the library. They skipped out on all the Pearl pages.“Bow!” cried a voice. It was Jade. Bow turned around. They were admiring the jellyfish again. “Oh, Jade. is something wrong?” Jade stopped in front of them and answered. “Sensei wants to see you.” Bow was confused but got up anyway and went to go see Sensei. He was sitting down. Waiting for them. “You wanted to see me?” asked Bow. Sensei nodded. “I believe I found a suitable job for you.” Bow was listening. They knew this day would come. A day where Sensei will give them a good job. “I have decided that you will be taking and organizing notes on you siblings.” Bow was quiet mostly because Sensei wasn't done talking. “You will also be able to fight and patrol when you are not working.” Bow was happy to hear this. They will be able to patrol with their siblings and get to know them. “That is wonderful news!” said Bow. their hair turned yellow then back to black. Everyone was later informed that Bow will be analyzing their work and their abilities. For some strange reason everyone was on edge because of it. Bow decided to watch everyone individually. First was Obsidian. They were the blacksmith. “Hello Bow.” said Obsidian. They seemed very kind and cheerful. Reminds Bow of Yella. Obsidian had a cheerful, joyous and bubbly personality. Similar to Yella. Bow began to write things down. Bow prestudied so they knew that Obsidian had a hardness level of 5. Pretty strong. Bow even decided to help Obsidian with their work by sharpening swords. At that moment, Bow’s hair was blacker than ever. Reminds them of Black. Second was Euclase. They are the secretary that is found working alongside Jade. Bow has observed that they are very kind and caring yet they take their job very seriously. They are a hardness of 7.5. Very strong. They appear to also be good with a sword. “What do you do?” asked Bow. Euclase looked at them and smiled. “I mostly make calculations. Like what percentage a Lunarian will arrive today.” Euclase explained. Bow nodded and began to write things down. There is someone that Euclase reminds Bow of. They just can’t find the name. Next was Ghost. That went by pretty quickly since Bow already knows a lot about Ghost. They are the librarian, keeper of Lapis’ head and the Sanatorium Manager. Hardness level of 7. Not bad. Sewing stuff and clothing were everywhere. It made Bow’s eyes twitch. Even worse, Beryl said to leave it as it is. They had the job of tailor and they were good at it. They seem to be a very passionate gem. Very lively. Hardness level of 7. Strong. The were partnered with a Aquamarine before. They were staring at them. By the looks of it they drops a bowl of something. “Y..your awake.” stuttered Rutile. Bow nodded. “And your hair is black.” Bow looked at their own hair. It was indeed black so they nodded again. “S..stay here.” Rutile said. They ran off, leaving Bow in the medic room.Sensei arrived shortly after. “Are you alright?” Bow nodded. He smiled, “I’m glad.” He patted her head and it turned transparent white once again. Sensei dimley smiled at that. “Take a day off of work.” said Sensei. Bow nodded once again as their hair turned black. “Rest a bit more and then give me a report on what happened.” Bow nodded once again and Sensei left.Bow got up and headed towards their room which was actually the room closest to Sensei’s. They were stopped. “Bow!” called a voice. It was Beryl. “Beryl.” said Bow quietly. “Are you alright?” They asked. Bow smiled and nodded. Beryl sighed in relief. “Thank goodness. I thought I did something wrong.” Bow shook their head, “You did nothing wrong.” Beryl smiled. ‘Beryl was working all night’ thought Bow. ‘Their clothes are a mess.’ Beryl’s eyes went wide, “Oh right. I meant to ask you.” Bow looked at them. “You hair..” Beryl said pointing to their own hair. “It went red. It has never done that before.” Bow touches their own hair. “Red? How interesting.” Bow smiled again. “Thank you for letting me know.” Bow walked away leaving Beryl pretty confused. Bow was able to make it to their room without anyone stopping them after that.Bow has just finished resting. Everyone was on patrol. Some gems remained behind to do their job. Bow went to go see Sensei. “Sensei, I’m here to give my report.” He nodded and motioned for them to sit. Bow sat down in front of him. “I remember Red Diamond.” With that Sensei’s eyes went wide. Bow couldn’t see what the matter was so they continued. “I remember when I first met them through the time I was taken.” explained Bow. “And by the sound of it. My hair turned red when I was thinking about them.” Sensei’s eyes remained wide. Bow’s hair turned red again. “The memory was cold and buried deep within me.” They continued. “Red Diamond had a sweet kind voice. It had always made me smile. They never failed to make me laugh.” Sensei finally calmed down. “Please.” He said. “Tell me about the day you were taken.” Bow nodded. Their hair remained red. “I was with Red. We were exploring more of the beach. It was nice. Fluorite was back at the school. Red and I were hoping that we would be able to see another gem become born. They were rushing me. They said, ‘Hurry Reda or we might miss it.’ I remember smiling. Red was always so cheerful. I don’t remember much color. All I really saw was red. The weather was really sunny. All the clouds were being pushed to the side. It was a beautiful day. ‘Red it’s not like they will be going anywhere.’ I told them. Red then stopped running and turned to me. ‘I know.’ They said. ‘But I really want to be there to help them as soon as I can.’ It amazed me on how kind Red was. We continued on our way. Then THEY appeared for the first time. We were both confused. They were so pretty. They attacked us. I pushed Red out of the way and told her to leave. I was scared and so confused. I wasn’t badly damaged yet. I tried leading them away from the school. I told Red to leave. ‘Please.’ I told her. ‘Could you please do me that favor.’ Then everything went black.”Bow stopped talking. “I’m sorry that is all.” Sensei seemed so sad. “Thank you.” Bow nodded and got up. Sensei….hugged them. It caught Bow by surprise. Their hair remained red this time. “Sensei.” They murmured. “I’m sorry.” He said. Bow smiled and hugged him back. “It wasn’t your fault Sensei.” Bow never left his side after that. Their hair remained red for the rest of the day. Bow was back in the library. The red in their hair has not yet faded. The other gems were staring at them but Bow didn’t mind. They found the book and flipped to the missing page. They then grabbed the page that Sensei gave them. A perfect fit. That page had a sketch and information on someone know as a Red Pearl. The hand writing was different on this page compared to the other pages.It says on the page that Red Pearl was the first ever Pearl to be born. They were born a day after Red Diamond was born. Hardness level 2.5. Their personality read as mature and serious yet had a good sense of humor. It says that Red Pearl or Reda loves jokes. Skills included organization and observation. Taken to the moon by the first ever Lunarian ship to appear on the planet. Cause of kidnapping: Trying to protect the school and others. It also said they loved to learn and came up with amazing stories. Bow then looked at the image of Red PearlRed Pearl has long hair that reached nearly to the end of their legs. Their eyes were fully covered by their hair but they seemed to have pinkish eyes. Bow didn’t know what to think. They never thought that there was a Red Pearl living in them but why was this page ripped off. ‘Maybe I can ask Sensei.’ That is what they did. They brought Reda’s page with them. They made it to Sensei's room. “I read the page.” He nodded. “Why was it ripped out from the book?” Sensei had his eyes closed. “Observant as always, Reda.” Bow flinched. “Don’t call me that.” Sensei finally opened his eyes and made eye contact with them. “I’m sorry.” He sighed. “That page was ripped because it was one of my deepest regrets.” Bow was confused, “Regrets?” He nodded.“I was the one that wrote your page.” explained Sensei. “I ripped it out due to the regret of not being there to protect them.” He picks up the ripped page. “Maybe I should not have.” He said. Sensei sounded so sad. “No one knows who Reda was and it’s my fault.” Bow hugged Sensei. He was surprised. “I said it before. It wasn’t your fault.” That seemed to put him at ease. With that Bow’s hair finally returned to normal.Bow smiled as they walked around the school but it soon faded. Along with Red Diamond’s memories, they remembered something else as well. Not just Red. They remember Green and Borts as well. Clear as day. For now they will keep this to themselves.

Bow was patrolling but this time with someone else. They were patrolling with Phos and the Amethyst twins. It was on Sensei’s orders. “So your like me?” asked Bow. Phos looked at them curiously. “You are made of different gems, right?” Phos looked at the ground and nodded. Bow smiled, “Thought so.” The wait was so quiet. So awkward. Bow was sitting at the edge of the hill they were patrolling st. The Amethyst twins were exploring behind them. Phos was laying in the grass. Bow was at peace. They like it when it is quiet. Their yellow hair flowed in the wind. Bow looked up at the sky. They stood up quickly. It caught the other gem’s attention. “What’s wrong?” asked Phos. Bow pointed up at the sky. A single sun spot appeared. The Moon People. The Amethyst twins and Phos drew their swords. Bow followed them. “Amethysts. Please go get Sensei!” They both nodded and ran. The Lunarians shot arrows at the Amethyst twins but were blocked by Phos’ alloy. “Are you ready?” They asked. “Yeah.” responded Phos. Bow nodded, “We need to distract them before Sensei arrives. Phos stared at Bow. ‘They seem so serious yet so worried.’ thought Phos. “Let’s go.” said Bow.Bow striked first. Arrows were flying everywhere. “Phos! Watch my back!” cried Bow. “Yeah got it!” cried Phos. They used their alloy to block the arrows from Bow so Bow can get in close. Bow was running fast. Very fast. They got close to the vessel. Bow was going to strike but then. “Bow!!!” cried Phos. Bow fell of the ship. They were chipped by an arrow. Bow looked down. “YELLA!!” cried Bow. Their hair slowly turned black. By the time they crashed on the ground their hair was completely black. The powder was no longer on them and their crystal was less bright then it was before. “You’ll pay for that!” cried Bow. Phos was scared or at least shocked. Bow’s eyes were lit with fury. Even the Lunarians stopped firing. They were looking at each other. They were there. Then they weren't. Phos didn’t even see Bow move but Phos could tell that they were way slower than they were before. They were though much more angrier. They were screaming and attacking. Phos didn’t know what to do or think. ‘Bow is so scary.’ Sensei arrived.He was staring in shock as Bow cuts the Lunarians down. He then looks at the shards on the floor. “Phos. Collect those please.” Phos looked at the yellow shards on the floor. “Y-yes Sensei.” They replied. Phos quickly gathered up the yellow shards. Sensei nodded then looked up at the ship. Bow was still going at it. They weren’t even aiming for the vessel anymore. “Bow.” called Sensei. “Yella is safe. You can stop.” Bow seemed to have heard him. They slowed down their movements. This time Bow made it to the vessel. With a single slash they cut it down and everything disappeared. Bow began to fall but Sensei rushed to their side and caught them. Bow clutched onto Sensei’s kimono. Sensei took Bow back to the medic room, where Rutile put the chipped of peices back onto Bow. They also had to put on more of the powder or resin. Bow said very little. They didn’t even move. They sat in the medic room all day. Eventually it became night. “Bow you should go to sleep.” said Rutile. Bow slowly shook their head. Rutile sighed and walked away. With that Bow was sitting in the medic room, alone. Bow looked to the side. Under the desk was a big box. Bow slowly stood up and dragged the box from under the desk. They looked inside. Bow’s eyes went wide. “P-Padparadscha?” murmured Bow. ‘No doubt about it.’ thought Bow. ‘That is definitely Padparadscha.’ Bow reached for the back of his neck. “It is good to see you again.” said Bow. They chipped something of of their neck. “When I first came I noticed this chip was out of place. I think it will help you.” Bow looked at a small rainbow chip. “Or at least I hope.” They Places the small chip in the center hole in Padparadscha. The gem glowed. Bow waited. Padparadscha sturred. Bow backed up as Padparadscha stood up. They looked at Bow. “Who are you?” “My name is Rainbow Pearl or Bow.” explained Bow. Padparadscha closed their eyes and smiled. “I see. A Pearl.” Padparadscha looked at their legs. “I can't seem to be able to stand.” Bow shook their head. “I’m sorry.” Bow said. “The chip in your hole only awakens you. You are still immobile.” Padparadscha nodded. “Where is Rutile?” Bow pointed to the rooms, “Asleep.” Bow looked at them and smiled. Their hair turned yellow. Padparadscha looked shocked. “I remember you, Padparadscha.” Bow smiled, “It’s me, Yella and so much more.” Padparadscha was once again shocked but it broke into a smile. “Why’d you wake me up?” They asked. Bow shrugged. “I needed someone to talk to.” Bow told Padparadscha all that has happened. They were generally listening which made them happy. Bow finally finished explaining. “How interesting.” They said. “But why tell me.” Bow looked down, “I don’t know.” Padparadscha once again smiled. Thay had a very gentle smile. “I want to keep this a secret so.” They look at the chip in their chest. “Take it out for now.” Bow nodded, “Wait. Can I talk with you again please?” Padparadscha nodded and layed back down. Bow takes the piece out of their chest and Padparadscha falls asleep once again. They slip the chip back in the back of their neck. “Thank you. Padparadscha.” Rutile rubbed their eyes as they walked to the medic room. Rutile looked at the table Bow was sitting on last night. “Bow you really need…” They stopped. Bow was no longer there. Rutile dropped their things and ran. “Jade! Euclase!” called Rutile. Jade and Euclase were preparing for the next meeting. “Oh Rutile.” said Jade. “Have you seen Bow?” asked Rutile. Jade and Euclase looked at each other. “No we haven’t.” said Jade. “Why is something wrong.” said Euclase. Rutile shook their head and ran off. “Yellow have you seen them.” Rutile asked Yellow Diamond as well. They shook their head. They asked all around. Nothing. The only one they haven’t asked was Borts. “Borts, have you seen Bow?” Borts looked at Rutile and nodded. “This way.” They said. Borts led Rutile to Bow’s room. Rutile looked inside. “Bow is sleeping. They have been sleeping all day.” explained Borts. Rutile took a breath. ‘They are okay.’ They thought as they walked away from Bow’s room.

Winter is coming up. Bow was pretty excited. They were helping the other gems get ready for hibernation. They were in charge of hanging the blankets. After that they were told to help Beryl with the winter clothes. Bow didn’t mind doing all these things. Bow loves helping others but they were interrupted while doing their work. It was Rutile. They told Bow that Sensei asked for them. Bow sighed and got up. They quickly made their way to Sensei’s room. “You called me?” Bow asked. Sensei nodded. “We need to discuss something.”Phos was putting on a winter uniform. ‘Another winter.’ They thought. ‘I need to see the others to sleep first.’ They got up and walked to where the other gems were going to hibernate. Bow was already among them but they were not wearing a hibernation uniform. “Bow? Why aren’t you…” began Phos. They stopped when they noticed Bow’s hair color.It was transparent white.“Hi” They said smiling. Phos just stared at them. “Why aren’t you wearing a hibernation outfit?” They asked. Bow looked down at their clothes. “It’s winter and isn’t it?” Bow said smiling. They walked out of the room to go meet Sensei before the gems all fall asleep. Sensei arrived to see the gems off to sleep. Bow was behind him. “Goodnight Sensei.” said all the gems. “Goodnight.” said Sensei. He walked out of the room. Bow and Phos follows. As they were walking, Phos noticed something. It was the way Bow was looking at them. Phos got nervous. Bow seemed confused. Sensei seemed to notice. “Phos will be helping during the winter.” He explained. Bow seemed to understand. “When will they join us?” They asked. Phos and Sensei looked at them. “Who?” asked Phos. “Antarcticite of course.”The room went dead.“Antarc?” said Phos. Bow nodded. “We were partners.” Sensei stood up. “You remember them?” Bow nodded. “I never forgot them in the first place.” Phos was confused and Sensei looked concerned. “Who do you think you are?” asked Sensei. Bow looked more confused than ever.“It’s me, Sensei. Arctic Pearl.”Once again the room was dead.“I expected you to be apart of the layer but I didn’t think you had your own consciousness.” explained Sensei. He then smiled. “It is good to see you, Arctic.” Arctic smiled in a very cute way. Phos was looking at Arctic and then back to Sensei. ‘Antarc had someone before me.’ They thought.Arctic was walking with Phos. Phos looked at them. Arctic seems so serious now. Phos wanted to make conversation but had no idea what to say. “Where is Antarc? Sensei didn’t tell me.” said Arctic. Phos flinched. They haven’t spoken since they left Sensei’s room. That question was something Phos didn’t want to answer. Arctic stopped moving. “Where?” They asked again. “They are no longer here.” Phos answered. Arctic looked up at the sky. “I see.” “It was my fault.” said Phos. “They got captured trying to help me.” Arctic didn’t stir. They were looking up at the sky. “Ok.” They finally said. They continued to move forward. Phos was shocked. They weren’t angry. They seemed sorry. Phos ran to keep up with Arctic. “Antarc was kind me.” began Arctic. Phos listened.“Unlike the others I was not born along a hardness level 10. I was born in the winter. Antarcticite found me and brought me to Sensei. He was surprised to see me. Antarc was the one that said it would be a good idea for me to work with them. ‘Sensei.’ They said. ‘Let them work with me. It will make my job easier and it would be nice to have some company.’ Sensei agreed. Antarc taught me about the ice flows and how to get the others to sleep. They were so serious yet so kind. We fought Lunarians together. We destroyed ice flows together. They were so inspiring. I worked with them for 3 winters before I was taken. When they were liquid, I was simply immobile. Sensei placed me beside the tub Antarc was in. I was dreaming most of the time. Dreaming of winter and sometimes seeing the other season. Which never happened. On the 3rd winter, the Lunarians came 5 days before the others would wake up. It was the first time Antarc and I had to split up. Antarc was tended to nearby ice flows. I was putting blankets over the others. Then they came. The Lunarians passed Antarc and went for the school. I was fighting them. Sensei was asleep so I had to defend the school myself. Then Antarc came. They saw the Lunarians and came rushing to help but the weather was warm. They were fragile in that state. The Moon People took and fired at Antarc. I ran to protect them and got hit instead. They lured me onto the ship. Antarc tried to get me back but failed. I’m glad they did or they would have been taken and no one would take care of winter. I think I made them sad.”Phos listened to Arctic’s story. Phos has never heard of this before or they simply forgot. Phos was not sure. Arctic took a breath and smiled. “Nothing I can do about it now.” They turned to Phos. “Come on. The ice flows are up ahead.” They continued walking forward. Phos followed behind them. Arctic was waiting for them on the top of the hill. They were pointing to the ice flows. “There they are.” They said. Phos and Arctic worked together to destroy the ‘screaming’ ice flows and keep the others asleep. Then one day, Phos was staring at one of the ice flows. “What are you doing?” asked Arctic. Phos looked at them, “Oh sorry. I’m just listening.” Arctic was surprised. “You can understand the ice floes?” They nodded. Arctic was about to say something but was interrupted. “Phos. Behind you.” Phos turned around. A single sun spot. “Lunarians.” said Phos as they readied their sword. Arctic backed up. “What’s wrong?” Phos asked. “Winter is almost over.” explained Arctic. ‘They are like Antarc. Stronger when it is cold.’ Phos thought. “It will be alright.” explained Phos. They charged at the Lunarians. The Moon People readied their bows and fired. Phos used their alloy to block the arrows. Arctic was amazed at what they were seeing. ‘Phos is amazing.’ They thought. Arctic remembered the day they were captured. It scared them. Badly but they had to be brave. For Sensei. For Phos. For Antarc. They readied their saw like sword and charged. They became Phos’ backup. An arrow came at Phos from behind. “Phos!!” cried Arctic. They ran. The arrow pierced Arctic’s arm and it fell to the ground. Phos looked at it confused. Arctic kept going. The Lunarians were finally gone. Arctic grabbed their arm from the ground. “Let’s go back. I need to fix this.” explained Arctic. Phos nodded and they both headed back to the medic room.‘How come they didn’t change this time?’ thought Phos.

Spring is here. Bow’s hair has returned to normal. Normal meaning black. Phos was really confused. They wanted to ask about Arctic Pearl. ‘Why didn’t they get chipped like before?’ thought Phos. ‘Why did they break so easily?’ They decided to ask about it. “Hey Bow?” called Phos. Bow turned around. “Oh. Hi Phos.” said Bow. “I have a…” began Phos. “I’m going to go see Sensei. Wanna come?” asked Bow smiling. “Uh..Sure.” replied Phos. They followed Bow to Sensei’s place. “Sensei. I have arrived and I brought Phos with me.” said Bow. Sensei was standing at a table. He was waiting for them and seemed to be expecting Phos to tag along. “Come in.” said Sensei. Phos and Bow walked in and stood in front of the desk. “How was winter?” asked Sensei. Bow looked at Phos.”Uh..” stuttered Phos. “It went well. No casualties.” Sensei nodded. He then looked at Bow. “Do you remember what happened during winter?” Bow shook their head. “No. Sorry. That memory is concealed within Arctic’s pieces.” Bow explained. Phos snapped back. “Right I needed to ask something.” Bow and Sensei looked at them. “During Winter, Arctic and I fought some of the Moon People.” explained Phos. “Arctic lost their arm but they didn’t change. They broke pretty easily.” Bow looked at them. Pretty shocked at the question. “It seems that during winter, my other layers seem to be in hibernation like the other gems.” Bow explained. “I’m not sure.” Sensei told Bow to continue with their job before they go back to patrol. Bow agreed. They were feeling tired. First of was Benitoite. Hardness level 6.5. They are a fighter so Bow had to go meet them on the field. With it, they also got to meet Neptunite. Hardness level 5.5. They are as well a fighter. Benito seems to have a timid and insecure personality. While Nepti has a sharp tongue and believes that people should fight their problems head on. A great pair...Next was Sphene and Peridot. Sphene is a Artisan while Peridot is a Papermaker. Sphene has a hardness level of 5 to 5.5. Peridot has a hardness level of 7. Sphene seemed to have a sweet and calm personality and are dedicated to their work. Peridot seems to be mature and wise it seems to be obsessed with making paper. Sphene used to work with Topaz. Peridot used to work with Blue Zoisite.Third was Phos and the Amethyst twins. Phos previously a Scholar. Now they are a fighter and icebreaker during the winter. The Amethyst twins are separated by number. One is 33. The other is 84. They are fighters and never seem to be apart. Phos originally had a hardness of 3.5 but now has an exemption of alloy arms and quartz legs. The Amethyst twins are level 7 though they cannot break when they hit each other. Phos currently has a confident, mellow and humble personality but Bow was told of their recklessness in the past. The Amethyst twins have a masculine first-person personality. The final one was difficult. Cinnabar. They had to take a night shift with them. It took a while to convince Cinnabar to let them tag along. Bow did tell Cinnabar about their job. Cinnabar told Bow to start with that in the conversation next time. Bow’s hair was green. This was the first time they ever talked to Cinnabar. Bow was quite curious about the poison mercury. They actually wanted to touch it and they did. Cinnabar freaked out but stopped.Nothing happened to Bow.“I thought this was poisonous or at least harmful.” said Bow. “It is.” replies Cinnabar. They were clearly confused. “I guess it doesn’t work on me since I have like 5 layers." explained bow. “5 layers!?”Since this was the first time they officially met. Bow explained to Cinnabar about their condition. Cinnabar was shocked and had nothing to say so Bow continued their job. Their hair finally returned to normal.Cinnabar, hardness level 2. Currently has no partner and works the night shift voluntarily even though there has been no Lunarians sightings at night. The mercury around them are poisonous in a way to other gems except ones with more than 2 layers. Apparently.... Their personality is gloomy and they seem to doubt themselves. They as well seem shy when amoung the other gems. ‘They are far to wise and kind to be alone’ thought Bow. Bow has taken a liking to Cinnabar in a way. Bow had their talk with Padparadscha. They didn’t over the winter though, since Arctic doesn’t know who Padparadscha is and every gem deserves a hibernation rest even if that gems sleeps for all eternity.Bow turned in their report on the gems the next day. Sensei seemed interested in Cinnabar’s page alone.Then Sensei suggested Bow to temporarily team up with Cinnabar at night and he would tell Cinnabar personally. Bow’s hair turned green once again but not because they were nervous. It seems Green feels a connection with Cinnabar in a way.

They are thinking about it way more than I am.’ Bow nodded. “It’s just for a bit.” Bow was bored for most of the day. Sensei left to go find Cinnabar so Bow was left with nothing to do. They decided to work until nightfall.First up Alexandrite. They work as the Moon People expert. They have a hardness level of 8.5. They are studious but only when it comes to the Moon People. Bow learned that Alex is forbidden from looking or engaging a Lunarian due to their other personality. That personality is berserk. The others call it Red Alex since Alex’s hair turns red. Alex previously worked with a gem named, Chrysoberyl.Next was Watermelon Tourmaline and Hemimorphite. They are both fighters. Melon has a hardness level of 7 to 7.5. Hemimorphite has a hardness level of 4.5 to 5. Melon seems to be an excited character that always seem to have their head in the clouds. Hemimorphite was hard for Bow to understand but by the looks of things they seem to have a more mature personality.Third was Jade. They are the speaker of all the gems. Like a strategist or someone who keeps the others in line. They have a hardness level of 7. The other gems seem to call them the Chairman. Jade has a very serious personality. Especially when it comes to their job.Lastly was Zircon. Bow already interviewed Yellow Diamond so there was no need to do it again unless something has changed. Nothing has yet. Zircon is a fighter who currently works with Yellow Diamond. They have a hardness of 7.5 and is the second youngest. Older than Phos. They are anxious but always seems to worry about something but they can be extremely loyal and respectful. Bow left their report on Sensei’s desk. Nothing to interesting today. Bow is actually glad they have this job. It’s fun and it passes time. Night is already here.Bow got ready. They had Obsidian sharpens their sword and in return Bow helped. They liked to work with Obsidian as well. They then went to Red Beryl and asked for a new uniform since the other one got a little torn. Red Beryl gladley sew them another one. In fact, Beryl was working on a uniform before. Soon. Bow was ready for the night shift. Sensei returned a while later and told Bow to go. Bow readies their sword and uniform and left. Benito wished them luck. Bow was walking around the plane. They were walking along the beach. ‘How beautiful.’ They thought. They loved how the moon glistened on the ocean. It was so peaceful. Bow stopped and sat down on the sand. ‘How warm.’ They thought. “Get up.” said a voice. Bow stood up and turned around. It was Cinnabar. Bow’s hair turned green as they smiled. Cinnabar flinched. “Stop doing that!” cried Cinnabar. “What?” asked Bow. Cinnabar points to their hair. Bow looks at a strand of their own hair. “Oh. Sorry. I have no control over it.” said Bow. Cinnabar sighed.They barely talked. Well until Cinnabar said something. “Why is your hair green when it was just black?” Bow looked at them “Your still confused about that?” Cinnabar said nothing. Bow sighed. “Well. I am made out of several layers of Pearls and my hair changes depending on my emotions and sometimes when one of my layers feel comfortable around someone else. Black is my default color. Each layer has a story to tell.” explained Bow. “Or at least I think.” Cinnabar stopped walking. Bow stopped a little ahead. “And what are you feeling now?” Bow thought for a moment. “I’m feeling….comfortable.” Bow smiled and continued to walk. Cinnabar followed behind them. “And your story?” Bow looked at her and then looked up at the sky.“I was previously known as Grena. I was born the same day Green Diamond was born. They had a mature and kind personality. I was the shy one that never really talked. Becoming Bow somehow gave me a confidence boost. We would patrol together. Sometimes we even would get to see Yellow Diamond and Yella. Yella loves expressing themselves. We were complete opposites but we got along. One day, Green and I were patrolling around the place Heliodor was taken. Just below that hill. Then the Moon People came. Yellow and Yella left to warn Sensei. Green and I were the only ones left. We fought the Lunarians. Blocking any of their arrows. I never got hit once but…I saw that Green was in trouble. They were aiming for them mostly. I think they liked their color. They were so bright. Brighter than me. One arrow aimed for their head and I threw myself in front of it. My head fell off and I don’t remember anything after that. It’s all black but it seems like I was taken by them.”Cinnabar said nothing. Bow was still looking up at the sky. “Well let’s continue our patrol.” said Bow smiling. They continued to walk. It took Cinnabar a while to follow. They didn’t know what to do. They didn’t know what to say. “I wonder.” began Bow. “I wonder what they were thinking about on that day.” Cinnabar sighed. “They probably thought….” Cinnabar hesitated. “About how sorry they were. How it should have been them protecting you. Not the other way around.” Bow looked at them. They were pretty surprised by Cinnabar’s response. They smiled and gave a sad yet happy look. “Thank you.” Bow said. “I’m glad I am hearing this from you.”

It has been a couple of days already and Bow has met almost every single gem here. First off was Rutile. Rutile is the doctor of the gems. Which means they are in charge of putting the gems back together. Their hardness level is 6. Rutile takes their job very seriously. They are often very tired. When Bow tried to observe them, they were sleeping when they weren’t working. They can be eccentric and sarcastic. At least, they take pride in their work. They are partnered with Padparadscha.Next was Diamond. Diamond was found alone. Bow soon found out that things have been happening behind their back. Diamond is currently partnerless. Borts is with Zircon. Bow thinks about it and it seems that Yellow Diamond would be the one partnered with Dia. They have a hardness level of 10 and currently a fighter. They are very cute. They have a kind, friendly, gentle personality. They wanted to be like Borts.The last ones were Morganite and Goshenite. They are both fighters. Morga has a hardness level of 7.5. They have a confident personality. They are very confident with their fighting skills. Sometimes a bit to confident. They can be naughty at times. Goshe has a hardness level of 7.5 as well. They have a kind and gentle personality. Bow was still with them. They were writing down a copy of the original book of gems. One for the library and one for themselves. “You really like to write, don’t you.” said Goshe. Bow nodded with a smile. “I’ll be right back.” Bow stood up and walked away. They were looking for Neptunite. They found them back at the school. With a lot of paper. “Hi Nepti.” Nepti looked up. “Oh Hi.” Bow showed Nepti the new version of the book. “I need more paper for this.” Bow explained. Nepti eyes went wide. “Really?” Bow nodded. Nepti hid under their desk. “Nepti?” Nepti flung up with a armful of papers. “Is this enough?” Bow nodded and took them. “Thanks Nepti.” Bow walked to their room. They laid the papers down and opened to book. They put the papers in and walked back to Morga and Goshe.Morga and Goshe were at the same place Bow left them. “Where did you go?” asked Morga. “I had to go get more paper from Nepti. Bow sat back down and began to write. Bow’s hair turned red. “Uhhh. Bow..” said Goshe. Bow looked up. “Something wrong?” Goshe shook their head. “Your hair is red.” Bow looked at their own hair. “It has not done that in a long time.” explained Bow. “My memories are faint but I remember that Red Pearl liked to write.” With that Bow continued to write. The sun is out. No clouds in the sky. The wind was blowing thought the grass. It was beautiful but they came and ruined it.Morga and Goshe were patrolling. Bow has just finished the book. “Bow run.” said Morga. Bow looked up. A single sunspot. “The Moon People.” said Bow. Morga and Goshe drew their swords. Bow stepped back. They didn’t have their sword. The Lunarians were here. Bow ran. They used their legs. Their hair turned yellow. “Bow what’s the rush?!” cried a voice. It was Benito. “The Moon People. Please warn Sensei. Benito nodded and ran towards the school. Bow sighed. Bow heard a crack. They looked down. Yellow shards were on the floor yet again. “Yella?” They looked up. ‘Another ship?’ They thought. ‘I have to run but I can’t leave Yella.” Bow decided to to keep this one preoccupied. The Lunarians shot another arrow. Bow dodged. Their hair was back to normal. They shot multiple. ‘No.’ They thought. ‘I can’t dodge that much.’ Bow got hit in the end. “Black!” They cried. Their hair was green. “No No No.” They cried. “I’m not ready.” Bow ran. The Moon People followed. Hit once again. Green Pearl was never a good dodger. They always had something to block with or someone to protect them. “Grena…” said Bow. Their hair was red. They were on their final layer. Reda has never fought before. Bow didn’t know what to do.” The final arrow pierced their torso. Arctic will not come out. It’s not winter. ‘I’m sorry Sensei.’ thought Bow.They fell to the floor but they were still conscious. The Moon People came down from their ships and picked up every part of Bow. They couldn’t move. They couldn’t fight back. It seems like they were picking Bow up layer by layer. First Yella. Then Black and Grena. Then finally Reda. Bow could still feel them. They were all still apart of them. They were taken onto the ship and put into a bowl. Then they began to leave. ‘So. The other ship was a distraction. Clever.’ thought Bow. They could see the other gems and Sensei. ‘I wonder if they noticed yet.’ They then caught a glance at a nearby cave. Cinnabar. ‘Sorry, Cinnabar. I failed…’ Then everything went black. ‘This is all too familiar. To all of us.’It didn’t take long. They made it to the moon pretty quickly. Voices can be heard. Voices? ‘The Moon People.’ thought Bow. ‘They can speak?’ Bow can still see. The moon was beautiful and shiny. There was something flickering in Bow’s mind. This seems so familiar. As the Lunarians carried them off. Bow was able to list the names to the rooms that they past. Being on the moon was like such a distant memory. ‘I’m so tired.’ thought Bow. ‘I think I will sleep for a bit.’

‘Where am I?’ thought Bow. ‘Right, I was taken to the moon. Then why am I still here?’ Bow opened their eyes and sat up. It was a pretty room. Bow looked at their arms it was covered in that powder. ‘My layers.’ thought Bow. ‘I’m actually in one piece. Where am I?’ Bow looked around. It looked like a master bedroom. It looked so familiar. Strange. There was a sound of bowls being dropped to the floor. ‘Reminds me of Rutile.’ thought Bow as they looked towards the direction of the sound. Their eyes went wide. It was a Lunarian. It screamed and ran away. ‘What did I do?’Bow sat in the bed for a while. What else could they do? They are supposed to be a pile a jewelry or a weapon by now. Right? “I’m glad you are ok.” said a voice. Bow looked up. ‘A Lunarian.’ They thought. The Lunarian sat down in a chair that was beside Bow’s bed. “Who are you?” said Bow. The Lunarian put his hand up. “You will know that real soon.” explained the Lunarian. “For now call me Prince.” Bow nodded. “I would like to know what you remember about your past.” asked Prince. “Why should I tell you?” said Bow. “I can restore your past memories.” Bow thought for a moment. It is true. They never truly remembered their past. Only bits and pieces. They nodded.Bow told Prince about everything they remembered. Their past with Yellow, Green, Red, Borts and Antarcticite. Prince nodded as Bow finished the stories. He got up. “Please stay here. I will return shortly.” Bow nodded as he left the room. For some strange reason, Bow feels like they should trust them even if he is a Lunarian. He soon returned with two more Lunarians. “Please follow me.” said Prince. Bow slowly got out of bed and followed them. They led them to a room. It was similar to a medic room. Two more Lunarians were waiting. “They are back!” one of the Lunarians said. Bow looked at Prince. “It will all make sense soon.” said Prince. Bow nodded. “Please.” He said, gesturing to the table. Bow laid down on the table. “They are going to rebuild you so it may go all black for a moment.” Prince explained. Bow nodded. He was correct. It did go all black. Bow later woke up. They didn’t feel different but they knew something was off. They looked around. They were back in their old bed. Prince was sitting at the side. “Prince?” calls Bow. Prince looks down at them. “Your awake.” said Prince. Bow nodded. “I still remember the same things.” Prince nodded, “It takes time.” Bow sighed. They looked around. ‘So familiar.’ They thought.Then one by one the memories began to return. Multiple. From different heads. “What do you know?” said Bow. Aechmea looked at them. “I DO remember some things.” They said. Aechmea was quiet. “That quickly?” Bow nodded. “I’ll let it sink in for a bit.” He said getting up. He walked out.Bow was left in that room once again. They wanted to talk to someone. They remember everything that happened here on the moon or at least they think it is everything. Each Pearl taken to moon, experienced it in a different way. Reda found it interesting. Grena was pretty scared. Yella was all over the place. Black fought at first. No surprise there. Arctic was strangely in wonder. Their was also a hint of a home feeling. A strange home like feeling. Bow has heard of another Pearl that didn’t make it. Maybe that was it. Eventually all the memories became one and the same. It was the birth of Bow. Intersiting. That pretty much explains why Bow trusts the Lunarians. Pearl was born and landed on the moon so the Lunarians are their family. Bow eventually got up. There was another room connected to Bow’s room. They got up from their bed and walked to the room. It was very pretty. There was a single mirror hanging on the wall. They looked at their reflexion. They backed up. They looked different. Their hair was green and pretty long. Their eyes were still rainbow. They had a different layer on top. Did this happen during the ‘process’? Probably. “So you noticed.” said a voice. Bow turned around. It was Aechmea. That was Prince's real name. “Why?” asked Bow. “In the beginning. When we made you, the layers were put on randomly. The same thing happened this time. Your personality will be different then it was back on Earth.” explained Aechmea. Bow continuously looked at the mirror. They grabbed their hair and tied it into a bun. “That’s better.” Day’s past. Bow was being treated like royalty. Not like they noticed. Their memories were fully intact. They were used to the Lunarians treating them like this. Aechmea has been calling them ‘His Daughter’ but Bow doesn’t know what that means. In the past, Bow used to call Aechmea her ‘Father.’ They didn’t know what that meant either but they liked it. Bow began to call Aechmea ‘father’ once again. They really cared for Aechmea in a way that they couldn’t explain. They were really happy. Aechmea even gave Bow their own gender. Whatever a gender is. Bow became a female.They would dance and listen to the Lunarians play music. They knew the moon very well. The Lunarians still went hunting. They even brought a couple of gems back. Like, Morganite and Goshenite. Bow lost thought of what to think when their own kind was brought to the moon. Morga and Goshe were eventually scattered across the moon. Bow knew the reason why. They weren't happy about it but they understood why. Bow was still happy but filled with uncertainty. Then the Lunarians came back from a hunt. They brought someone with them.

Aechmea told Bow not to leave her room. Bow didn’t understand but she followed his wishes. She wondered if something was wrong. She was sitting in her room. She heard the sound of shuffling feet. She listened through the door. A couple of Lunarians were walking by. She could hear them talking. “I don’t think this was a good idea.” said one of them. “If Prince trusts this Phos-sama then I trust them too.” said another. ‘Phos-sama?’ thought Bow. ‘Do they mean Phosphophyllite? Is Phos here?’ Now Bow didn’t want to stay in her room. She waited for the Lunarians to pass and slowly opened the door and sneaked out. She was trying her best to avoid the Lunarians. If she was caught, she would be sent back to her room and she does not want that. She then could hear someone talking. Bow looked through the doorway. It wasn’t a Lunarians that was talking. It was the one she was looking for. Phos. “Phos!” called Bow. Phos jumped and looked at her. “B….Bow?!” Bow was going to approach her but stopped. “Are you Phos?” They nodded. “You look different.” Phos stared and then smiled. “Look who’s talking.” Bow looked down at herself. She did look different and was shorter than when they last saw Phos. “Touche…” responded Bow. “So what happened to you?” Phos explained how they ‘lost her head’ to the Moon People and it was replaced by Lapis Lazuli’s head. Suddenly something came over Bow. Her hair turned red. It has not changed color in a very long time.“Lapis Lazuli.” She began. “Hardness level of 5. They were the former librarian and former teammate of Ghost Quartz. They seemed to have a charming, leader-like personality. They are highly observant and very clever with their word choosing. According to their former teammate, they had a habit of continuously touching their hair. Updated information: Lapis Lazuli’s head was being taken care of Ghost Quartz but due to Phosphophyllite losing their head, Lapis’ head was used to replace it. Therefore, Phos is now part quartz, gold and Lapis Lazuli.” Phos stared at Bow as her hair returned to green She was freaked out and pretty shocked. They didn’t know what to say to her. “I’m sorry. I don’t know what that was about.” said Bow. “I..It’s alright.” stuttered Phos. “How about you? How are you still here?” Bow explained everything to her. “I see.” said Phos. Bow thought for a moment. “From your story.” She began. “Do you think Sensei will pray for them?” Phos nodded, “He has too.” Bow began to notice the hords of Admirabilis crawling all over Phos’ room. “An the others? Do you think they will willingly leave Sensei?” Phos looked at her than looked down. “I don’t know.”Then came a voice. “What are you doing here?” Bow looked at the doorway. It was a Lunarian named Xue. That was Bow’s personal caretaker. She forgot about her. “Xue……” said Bow. “Get back to your room before Prince finds you here.” said Xue. Bow nodded and walked out of the room. “Please, forgive the princess, Phos-sama” said Xue. ‘Princess?’ thought Phos. ‘What’s a princess?’ Bow took one last look through the door. “Bye Phos.” said Bow. Phos waved. Bow was lead back to her room. Luckily, Aechmea didn’t find about Bow sneaking out. Later in the day, Phos made their way to Bow’s room. Aechmea caught Phos in Bow’s room. He was not mad. He was actually relieved that they were getting along just fine. He was actually worried of a fight breaking out between them. He was there to alert Phos that the ship was ready. Bow wanted to go with. Aechmea thought about it but he didn’t want her to be seen. Bow suggested that she can hide. Aechmea told her no but there was a way for her to observe what was going on. He put an orb in her room. A hologram of a Lunarian will be placed on the ship. The orb will allow Bow to see through the eyes of that hologram. She can observe from a safe distance. She would also be able to see through Phos’ new Pearl eye. Bow finds that eye disturbing. Mostly since it is made of artificial Pearl….Bow safely observed from the safety of her room. As she observed she found a gem with a familiar face yet completely different. By the looks of things, the other gems are calling it Cairngorm

A day past. Bow was bored. Phos hasn’t been doing anything to fun to watch. Bow could hear but nothing said was interesting to her. She was very bored. She tried doing other things. Like picking out a new dress or playing games. It was fun but only for a short while. ‘Phos has a few more days.’ thought Bow. She then had an idea. She got up to go find Aechmea. She found him tending to the garden. “Father?” called Bow. Aechmea looked at her. “Can I go to Earth and help Phos?” Aechmea didn’t hesitate with his answer. “No.” Bow was disappointed. “Awwww.” Aechmea sighed, “Go back to your room for now. Phos will be coming back soon.” Bow slouched, “Boo...” She walked all the way back to her room.2nd day. Aechmea sent a Lunarian named Semi to go check on Phos. Bow saw it happen but she was still pretty bored. Bow did like how Semi looks like when they are on the planet. Nothing to special really happened. Final day. Phos was coming back. Bow really hopes that Phos’ plan worked. Maybe, they were bringing more gems to the moon or maybe it failed. Hope not. Bow was told to wait in her room. “Boo…” was her response to that order. She really wanted to greet the new comers. She was once again stuck in her room. They even took away her orb. “AUGHHHH!” She cried. “Bored.” Then there was a knock at the door. “It’s open.” She grumbled. She was lying on her bed. “Hey Bow.” It was Phos. “Hi Phos..” said Bow. “Welcome back.” Phos sat down beside the bed. “Aechmea is busy but he wanted me to let you know that you can meet the others now.” Bow’s eyes sparkled. “Yesh!!!”Phos took Bow to the rooms where the other gems were staying. Bow was actually surprised who was there. Benitoite was there. Along with Diamond, Yellow Diamond, Amethyst 84, Alexandrite and the one they called Cairngorm. They were all surprised that Bow was here. They were screaming questions at her. Bow felt overwhelmed. Eventually things calmed down. The other gems explained why they were here. Their reason. Bow’s hair turned red. She began to speak. “Benitoite. Hardness level 6.5. Former Occupation: Fighter. Former partner: Neptunite. They have a timid personality and can’t seem to say ‘no’ when is asked for help. Updated Information: Benito is one of the gems that accompanied Phos to the moon. Their reason was to get away from their partner Nepti.” began Bow. “That is like you, Benito.” said Dia, smiling. “Diamond. Hardness level 10. The youngest of the Diamonds. Former Occupation: Fighter. Former partner: Borts. Current Partner: Yellow Diamond. Born on the same year as Cinnabar. Dia is the only Diamond where a Pearl did not land on the planet. Diamond is known to be sparkly and blinding. They are also known to be cute. Updated Information: Dia is one of the gems that came with Phos to the moon. Their reason was to get away from their former partner known as Borts.” said Bow. There was silence. “Anything else?” began Yellow Diamond. Bow turned to look at Yellow. “Yellow Diamond. Hardness level 10. The eldest Diamond. Former Occupation: Fighter. Former partner: Yellow Pearl, Green Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire, Pink Topaz and Zircon. Current partner: Diamond. 3699 years old. They appear to have a calm yet mature personality and is the fastest gem so far. Updated Information: Yellow is one of the gems that came to the moon with Phos. Reason: To apologize to their past partners.” explained Bow. Yellow was silent. Amethyst was going to say something but was interrupted.Amethyst 84. Twin of Amethyst 33. Hardness level 7. Former Occupation: Fighter. Former Partner: Amethyst 33 and Phos. Updated Information: Came to the moon with Phos in place of Amethyst 33. Wanted to be separated from their twin. They are currently the voice of reason among the group.” Amethyst was shocked. “I know that Bow had a past job in…” began Alex.“Alexandrite. Hardness level 8.5. Former Occupation: Moon people expert. Former Partner: Chrysoberyl. Very studious when it came to moon people. Has a split personality called Red Alex. Updated Information: Came to the moon with Phos. They believe the Moon People will be able to cure their split personality. Redness is created by the light the Lunarians and the moon gives off.” said Bow. The gems felt awkward. “What the hell are you….” began Cairngorm. “New Information: Cairngorm. Hardness level 7. The inner layer of Ghost Quartz. Former Occupation: Fighter, Icebreaker in winter, Sanatorium Manager and Librarian. Former Partner: Ghost Quartz and Lapis Lazuli. Current Partner: Phos. Ghost explains Cairngorm to be rude, violent and selfish. Came to the moon by force by Phos.” Cairngorm flinched. Bow finally snapped out of it. “I’m sorry. For some strange reason my mind has been acting like that.” The gems didn’t say anything. They were to freaked out to say anything. Aechmea came and broke to awkwardness. “Sorry for interrupting.” Bow turned around and smiled. “Hi Father.” The gems looked at each other. “Father?” Aechmea greeted the other gems in new clothes and so much more. “Return to your room. I’ll come grab you later.” Bow sighed but nodded and walked off.‘BOOOOOOOORED’

Bow was lying on her bed. She feels like she was ‘grounded’. Whatever that means. Suddenly there was a knock at her door. “Come in.” She said. The door opened. It was Xue. “Sorry to bother you, Miss.” Xue said. “Oh. Xue. No worries. I’m always open for you.” Xue smiled and bowed. “Prince wants to speak with you.” Bow jumped off her bed. “I’ll be right there.” Xue nodded and left. Bow grabbed some nice clothes and changed. The clothes were casual but she still liked it. ‘I wonder what he wants.’ thought Bow as she made her way to Aechmea’s garden.Aechmea was tending his garden like he always does but now there was someone with him. Interesting. “Father?” Aechmea took notice of her and stood up. “Good. Your here.” Bow nodded. He motioned to his guest. “You remember Cairngorm, right.” That was when Bow noticed that the guest was indeed Cairngorm. Bow nodded once again. “Well, Cairngorm is going to be your new mother.” said Aechmea proudly. ‘What is a mother?’ thought Bow. ‘I guess that is what I will be calling her now. Like how I call Aechmea father.’ Bow smiled. “That’s nice.” said Bow. Bow walks up to Cairngorm. They were wearing a very pretty dress. “You look so pretty, mother.” She said. Cairngorm blushed. “T...Thank you.” Bow laughed. “Me and Cairngorm are going on a date.” said Aechmea. Bow eyes sparkled. “Ooooo. I wanna date.” Aechmea smiled. “Another time.” Bow hung her head. “Aww.” Cairngorm saw this and said, “Can’t she come?” Aechmea thought for a moment. “Yeah. Your the one that started saying things about the others.” Bow was confused. “I thought you were taken and grinded a long time ago.” Goshe stood up tall. “That was the other Goshenite.
