Cattos was never a prominent member of the villain community for many reasons, the first of which being that he was too soft. He had his quirk to blame for that. With his familial history being comprised mostly of villains, he had no choice but to follow in the same direction. The second reason being that he never learned to properly control it. Anyone he touched could be turned into a creature of some kind; there was no way around that. Sometimes, he couldn't even decide what kind of creature he chose to turn is target into. It just kind of happened. Because of Quirk, he was forced to wear gloves, and an outfit that almost completely concealed his entire body. No one knew what he looked like. And with all these cameras pointed on him inside his bank of choice, this was a good thing. Joining those waiting patiently in the queues, knowing not what was about to transpire, he reaches into the black trenchcoat of his and brandishes a small handgun, then discreetly pressing it against the temple of the elderly woman standing with his back to him, his arm now wrapped comfortably around her neck. Someone screams; his chest pounds. Suddenly, all the attention is on him, and people are ducking out of the way of the masked man and his hostage.Cattos never wanted to be a villain. It truly did ail him to hear and see the old woman in his grasp crying and trembling so violently. But circumstances called for this. He had no choice in the matter. He snaps at those around him to move away to the furthest wall, gun still pressed against the old woman's head, and once they have, he drags the woman to the nearest teller. He demands she put all the money into a bag for him, or he'll kill the woman. Shakily, the bank teller nods. She cautiously moves along the counters, entering codes into the computer, and emptying whatever is on hand into a burlap sack brought to her by one of the other tellers from the back. A loud sound from outside the bank stirs him from his anxiety. He jumps, barrel still resting against the old woman's head, and turns toward the door. A large shadowy figure, taller than the doors themselves, looms outside of them. Cattos has begun to panic; there's only one hero who could be that size. "It'll be alright now," a booming voice announces. The doors to the bank are pushed open, and the large figure steps in. "For I am here!"All Might!! he curses in his thoughts. Of all the heroes to show up... Teeth gritted, he shoves the old woman at All Might as he approaches, and makes a made dash for the side exit, abandoning the bag of money procured for him by the teller. He slams into the door, forcing it open, and runs into the middle of the alleyway, sprinting in the opposite direction of the street he'd entered from. But this way is no better. It's full of traffic. I'll have to blend in, o-or get another hostage or something, he thinks in desperation. And as he almost makes it to the sidewalk, a large hand has grabbed onto his head from behind.Damn it!!"Why you?" he demands of the hero. "Of all the heroes who could've shown up, why you?!"All Might laughs as he pins Cattos against the brick wall of the bank by his chest. Cattos gasps, the wind briefly knocked out of him."I may be a pro hero, but we all have bills to pay!" he tells him. "It's by lucky coincidence that you chose my bank to try and rob. The police have been called; they'll be here any minute to arrest you."Behind the cloth masking his identity, Cattos smirks, and removes his gloves from his hands with his teeth, and grabs the bare skin of All Might's exposed hands."That's what you think!"      ☆☆☆☆☆      It'd been a long nine hour shift for you before you'd finally been able to clock out from your diner. While working full time there certainly gets the bills paid, it's been a real effort to keep things up. How many coffees had you had knocked over onto your uniform today? Five, if you remember correctly. And that's the thing with working in the hospitality industry. You have no choice but to brush it off if you want to keep your job.The last day of the month always signified one thing for you: time to pay the rent. You live in a modest apartment, not too far from the diner, or your bank. As exhausted as you are, you have no choice but to go overto the bank and deposit your latest biweekly cheque into your account before you return home. With a large sigh, you turn the corner into the alleyway that connects to the next street over, where your bank sits. Usually, this alleyway is dark and uninhabited; you're really the only one dumb enough to risk going through it, as opposed to walking a couple of extra blocks in the public light. But today is different. Today, the only other people to risk being in this alleyway are a cloaked man, and the Symbol of Peace, itself, All Might. With a sharp squeak, you quickly duck behind a large garbage bin, and peer around it.Both fortunately and unfortunately, your life has been just uneventful enough to remain away from any hero work. You've never had the pleasure of meeting a pro hero, or the fear of coming face to face with a villain or criminal of any kind. But watching All Might successfully capture this criminal stirred something warm within you. You had no idea what you'd been missing. You cringe when All Might forces the criminal against the wall beside them; by the sound he made, it must not have felt nice. You overhear All Might inform them that the police are on their way, and it's true; you can now hear the sirens inthe distance. The criminal suddenly laughs, and you watch him pull his gloves off with his teeth."That's what you think!" he shouts, his words muffled slightly by the gloves. He grabs onto All Might's hands, and your chest tightens. The alleyway is engulfed in a bright white light. You flinch away from it, and once it disappears, what you see astounds you. Standing before the criminal is no longer the Symbol of Peace, but a... a cat? That must be his Quirk! you realize nervously. Your heart leaps in your chest as you watch the villain push himself away from the wall and start running toward you, All Might in his scrawny cat form unable to react in any way. Oh no, he's gonna get away! You swallow the lump in your throat and step out from behind the garbage bin, the palm of your hand pointed in his direction. The criminal staggers in his run, stopping just a couple of feet before you."T-Turn All Might back!" you demand."Get out of my way, girl!" the criminal shouts."I said turn him back!!" "Move!""Turn him back!!"Your emotions have gotten the best of you. All Might, who you've seen on the television and heard about in the papers, has been victimized by a transformation Quirk. The greatest hero to have ever lived, now a defenceless, weak housecat. Your pride won't let this slide. While your own Quirk isn't exactly the best around, especially in terms of control, you release it from the now open hole in your hand. In the center of it, it begins to gather the air around you, and, the oxygen from the criminal's lungs. He begins to choke; clawing at his throat and chest, eyes wide with fear, he begins to raise higher and higher in the air. Your hand begins to ache, and at around fifteen feet in the air, you're forced to let him drop at your feet. He hits the ground with a thud, wheezing loudly to regain his lost oxygen. You pant heavily, and wipe your bleeding nose across the back of your hand. Behind you on the street, three police cars have pulled up to barricade the alleyway, and the officers quickly clamber out, guns raised."Huh? Where's All Might?" you hear one of them say. Nervously, you glance back at the apricot-coloured cat, now hiding behind the opposite side of the garbage can. "H-He just left," you tell them, turning away from All Might, "but he incapacitated the criminal you were after here," and you gesture at the man breathing heavily on the ground."I see," says one of the other men. The rest pick up the man and place him in cuffs, telling him his rights on their way back towardthe cruisers. "I apologize for this inconvenience, but I'll need a witness statement from you.""I'm sorry, but I only just got here just in time to see All Might leave," you lie, your heart pounding. Thankfully, the criminal had been too incapacitated to argue this lie."Well, just in case we need to contact you further, I am required to ask for your information.""O-Oh, sure." And so you tell him your name, address, and phone number. The officer thanks you, and they leave a few minutes later. A small group of bystanders have congregated in the meanwhile. Once more, you sigh deeply, and turn back to the alleyway. To your surprise, All Might is still here. You crouch down in front of him, frowning."I guess there's no point of asking if you're okay," you whisper nervously. "Uh... especially if you can't understand me, b-but... It's, um... nice to meet you?" "You, as well; thank you for your assistance."You blink at him."E-Eh?" As the crowd is still lingering, you have to refrain from shouting out your surprise. "Y-You can still talk?!""Hey, I'm surprised, too!" he says. "What an embarrassing Quirk; what the hell am I gonna do now?" "I suppose you can't exactly do any hero work until you're better then, hm," you point out. "We'll have to get you to the police and tell them the situation.""N-No," he says, reaching out toward you with one of his paws. "Not yet. I... Maybe it'll reverse after a certain amount of time has passed.""So what, are you just going to go back to your apartment or something? You've gotta see if that guy can turn you back!""I-I can't!" he insists, his voice slightly more shrill than before. "It's too embarrassing to be seen like this."You deadpan at him. "No kidding; forget the Symbol of Peace," you say. "You're like the Symbol of Purrs, now.""Don't patronize me," he grumbles. "Though I am surprised that you're not talking in your normal tone, All Might," you say, "though I suppose you heroes have to keep up your alter egos for the media.""Y-Yeah, it's, uh, something like that.""I won't pry, but honestly speaking... it might be a good idea if you lay low somewhere safe until things get sorted out. If anyone found out All Might's been turned into a little pussycat, that might be problematic."All Might sighs. "You're right."Still squatting down, you offer your open bag to him."You're welcome to do that at my apartment, then," you say to him. "I can't promise you'll be any safer there as opposed to your own place, but at least you'll have some support, and not have to worry too much about taking care of yourself in that form.""... you promise you won't feed me cat food then?" he mumbles, a single paw hanging over the inside of my purse."Absolutely," you say, grinning, and he jumps in, getting comfortable on top of your crumpled up, coffee-stained uniform.
