General Information:

Full Name: Yuri Aizawa
Birthday: December 24
Age: 14
Height: 164 cm (5’5 inches)
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Violet

Red (Using Erasure)
Blood Type: B
Quirk: Erasure, Dark Matter
Likes: Coffee

Personality:
Since she’s been home-schooled and was taught by her parents ever since she was a 4, she’s very socially awkward and doesn’t understand social interactions and slang. She also tends to be quiet and not be the one talking. She takes most of her demeanor and personality from her father, as she is very blunt and takes rationality and morality to the extreme. Despite giving off a distant and even cold impression, she is overall a polite and reasonable person. And will always put others over herself no matter the situation she is in. Her will to save others is something that's been with her ever since she was a little girl.

As a hero, her mother influenced the idea a hero should be about taking glory from saving people, not the materialistic reward you get from saving the people. She takes this motive in every decision she makes. She finds that as long as you don't think of being a hero as an easy way to get rich and famous, she won't be salty about it. Her determination to save others is bigger than her determination to beat her way to the top. So she generally doesn't care if she's placed in second place or lower. In the rare moments when she feels the need to beat someone, she can be a very competitive and even might become too blind with pride or anger to be stopped without major force.

Abilities:
Overall Abilities:
Since she was four years old, she's been training to fight. She is overall very strong in general in her natural strength. Despite being younger than the people she's up against. She can hold against her own majority of the time. Though still working at it, she is fairly decent in hand to hand combat. When she’s not using her quirks to either be her offense or defense, she can surprisingly stand on her own through multiple attacks before it’s too much for her to take. And even in a weakened state, she can still muster up the courage to stand and fight.

Her speed is one of the things she really excels at. She uses it in combat to get ahead of her opponents, or in dire situations where she has to act quickly. Her father is one she takes note of in trying to better her speed. Trying to do his moves and techniques so her moves can be improved. Her speed is majorly affected on how much dark matter she’s releasing. The more dark matter she’s letting out, the slower she’ll get. Though, she would have to be releasing a big amount of dark matter for it to actually affect her speed. Reflexes is something she also uses
her speed. Helping her to react more efficiently and quickly.

Yuri trains her body to get used to releasing more dark matter and also getting used to the pain. She does this by going past her limit and train her body to get used to the amount and pain. After doing this routine for nearly ten years, her body can release about 6 tons of dark matter before she starts to feel pain. When under the supervision of her mother, she's restricted to releasing a certain amount of dark matter. But when under the eye of her father or on her own, she can release as much dark matter as long as it doesn't make her go through severe pain.

After training with her father, she can use her erasure even in battle. Though, this is mostly thanks to the goggles she wears, so things won't get in her eyes.

Keen Intellect:
Yuri is fairly intelligent compared to her allies. She will observe an opponent’s moves and tactics and try to make the best possible scenario to beat them. She also demonstrates a very good memory as she can read a whole class’ file and remember a majority of the information. Her memory is also used in combat, as she will remember how her opponents fight and how they dealt with them in the past.

Her intelligence also goes to her academics, as she is shown to be more intelligent than Shouto in majority of the subjects they were taught. And even might know more than she lets on as she is known to read her parents’ lesson plans for the school year. Though anger and pressure can affect her intellect, as she doesn't think clearly if put in a very tight situation and only has just a few seconds to do an action. Or if she is pushed past her temper can handle.

Quirk:
Erasure:
Yuri can nullify the quirk of anyone she looks at or touches with her hand. This quirk was gotten straight from her father, Shota Aizawa. Just that he can only transmit it through his eyes. Although with the advantage of also using it through her hands, the downsides Shota has is also what Yuri has too.

Like Shota, Yuri can erase the quirk of anyone she looks at. The downsides to this is that she gets dry eye every time she uses it, and needs to constantly blink or use eye drops to treat it. The effect also wears off the moment she blinks. And just like her father, using that form of erasure only works on emitter and transformation type quirks.

Another way Yuri can use erasure is through her hands. If she touches anyone with her hands, their quirk can be erased. And depending on how hard she grabbed you and how long she touched you, your quirk can be erased for as short as thirty seconds, to as long as 8 hours. This form of erasure also works on mutant type quirks. One of the downsides is that she can't reverse the erasure. Besides waiting it out for the effect to wear off, she can't turn it off. So she has to be careful on who she used erasure on. Another downside is that her bare hand has to be touching someone's bare skin for it to work. So she needs to find an opening, or make one herself if she is up against an opponent that barely leaves any skin uncovered. The biggest downside to this is that it will gradually remove the moisture from her hand if she uses too long in one go, or if she used it too many times. This causes her skin to blister and become extremely sensitive to attacks.

Dark Matter:
Straight from her mother, Yuri can release a dark liquid like substance from her body. If put instant pressure onto it, it will immediately harden and become stronger than even the toughest metals. Yuri can also form it into any weapon she wants, if she can maneuver it quick enough, she can use it like an actual weapon. Dark matter can also be used as a sort of defense. Using it underneath her costume, it can become her own armor. With it being very powerful, and almost invincible. It has its weaknesses. One of them being that only a certain amount of dark matter can be released out of her body before receiving chest pains and bleeding from her mouth. If she loses too much blood, she'll lose consciousness. Another weakness is that it gains strength from darkness, if put through intense light, it will make it smaller and weaker. This weakness gives an advantage to light based quirks. But this weakness also can be ironed out by her erasure. Although never demonstrated, if you move fast enough, you can break through the dark matter before it has time to react. But you would have to be moving at the speed of light to break through it.

Side Notes:
- She has a very messed up sleeping pattern, in which; She spends her energy in the night and burns off the remaining energy in the day before chrashing off to sleep. No matter how hard she tries, she can't really correct her sleep schedule. Why her parents never really object about this before is because one of them (cough -Shota- cough) is kind of to blame for it. And since Yuri's home-schooled, it's never been a real problem before along lines if she is going to school. But now she's going to U.A., she has to fix it.
- Ever since she was 7 years old, she has a small addiction to coffee, mostly just because it keeps her awake. So basically she'll like anything that tastes like caffeine or mocha. Her mother strictly forbids her from having more than 3 cups of coffee, as she gets a little unhinged if she does.
- Her erasure can accidentally activate in her sleep. If she is sleeping and touching someone with their hands, she can deactivate their quirk. How powerful the erasure varies, there also seems to be no drawbacks for her as the
moisture in hands doesn't go away. But since she started wearing bandages, these kinds of events only happen if she decides to take them off.

- When she was younger, if her parents are busy, Hizashi (Present Mic) would usually look after her. He'll still sometimes do this if Yuri is too exhausted to look after herself.
A/N
This is the first time I'm writing a story with a fan made character, so there are some things I'd like to address in case I forget to do it and people are utterly confused.

- I changed Aizawa's age so it would fit with Yuri's age if they are gonna be father and daughter. If you are wondering why I made Aizawa a teenage daughter, it's because I originally made her a 4 year old girl. But when I was introduced to Eri, I felt it would be better if I made her a teenager. But since Aizawa is only 31 years old, I had to change that. It's not much, I just added 5 more years.

- As you see, Yuri's mother is stated quite a few times in the chapter. She's also a fan made character of mine, I'll maybe show her information. (Then again, I'll have to complete it first and making Yuri's pretty much took up a whole week. I'm not even joking.) But the information I can give is that she's also a Pro Hero like Shota, and she's a very popular one in a way. As stated, she's the one where Yuri got dark matter from. And she's the one who mostly trains Yuri.
- So to not mix up the class, Yuri will not attend U.A.. I originally had her to be 15, but decided it would be too complicated to make a whole new story just because Class 1-A has one extra student than the others. Also didn't feel right if I had to remove one of the students just to fit her in. (Well I would've enjoyed removing Mineta but oH WE-)
So I had her to be 14 by the time the school year starts so she would be determined as 'too young' to join U.A., and will have to wait the next year to join.
- The last thing I feel like is needed to be stated, is that Yuri will be enrolled through recommendations from her parents. And that not being an actual student yet doesn't restrict her from actually going to U.A.. Especially after the USJ incident, she frequently visits U.A. to check on her dad.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

“Hey Shou-chan! Can you do it again?” Cheered the black haired toddler towards the bi haired boy. Jumping up and down while clapping her hands.

The boy chuckled before raising his right hand. “Of course, Yuri-chan!” He took the girl’s hand before making ice crystals from his own. “What shape do you want?”

“Surprise me!”

“Alright then…” His heterochromic orbs concentrated on the ice coming from his hand.

The little girl gasped as she saw a medium sized heart made of ice lying peacefully in her hand. She had seen him make other shapes, but he would usually make it out of simple frost and would melt barely a minute later. But the heart was made out of solid ice, and weighed a little more than what the girl was expecting.

“W-woah! it's made out of solid ice! So cool! I love the it!” The little girl exclaimed while grinning from ear to ear.

The boy mirrored her smile and looked away shyly with a slight blush on his cheeks. “D...do you like the shape I made…?”

“Of course I do! You've gotten SO much better! I'm so proud! I bet Rei-san is too!”

The little boy and girl continued to gaze at the creation the former made. Their joy was abruptly interrupted as the door to the room roughly slides open.

“Shouto! What the hell are you doing!? You're supposed to be training! SHE’S supposed to be training!”

The man’s rough voice echoed throughout the room and through the kids’ sensitive ears. His eyes flicked through the two children before grabbing his own by his arm.

“And you're supposed to be working on your fire, NOT your ice!” The man said harshly towards the little boy.

Seeing her friend in pain, the little girl instantly went to grab his unoccupied arm. Tugging on it more gently than the man.

“W-wait! He already did his training! Doesn't he deserve to rest a little? I mean, he did train very hard.” Protested the girl, slightly quivering from the man’s cold glare.

The man barely batted an eye before replying. “My Shouto does not have time to do such foolish activities. If you want to be a Pro Hero yourself, I suggest you stray from such activities as well. Now if you excuse us, we have training to do.” The man continued to drag his son away, despite the latter pleading to stop tugging so hard.

“Stop! Yo-You're just hurting him! He's only five, let go of him!” Without thinking, the girl activated both her quirks and tugged on the boy harder towards her.

She succeeded with the boy being placed safely behind her. But not a second later, she wasn't able to catch her breath as the man was standing right in front of her.

“You little BRAT!"

“Yuri, LOOK OUT!!”

“AIZAWA YURI!!!”

Yuri was jolted awake and as a result, jumped off her seat and landed onto the floor.
“Ah! Uncle Hizashi, what the heck!?” Responded Yuri as she put one hand on her ear, and the other on the floor to support her back. She came to U.A. as to keep tabs on her father since her mother was busy with her own work. Since it was such last minute, she didn't have much sleep to prepare for a whole day.
“Whoops, sorry Yuri-chan! But you weren't waking up so I had to raise my voice!” Mic explained. Slightly rubbing the back of his neck.
Yuri sighed and put her hands on the desk, lifting herself from the floor. “You know, a simple shake to the shoulder would have also worked.”
“I've tried that on both of your parents, both ended up with me getting socked in the jaw. Guess I was a little afraid that maybe that trait would've also been passed down to you.” Laughed Mic, grimacing from remembering the pain both his friends sent to his jaw.
The girl laughed a little before remembering. “Well, you were trying to wake me up, meaning you have something important for me to do?”
Mic jolted up straight. “You got that right Shota Jr.! Your father is currently having trouble eating his lunch, because...you know…”
“He has a lot of bandages, I know, continue.”
“Well, to put it simply; you're the only one he's letting to feed him. And I'm hoping you are willing to..?” Mic exclaimed while inching closer to the teenager.
“Ugh, okay fine, where's the bento mom left me? He needs all the nutrients he can get, I'm gonna make sure he has all of it.” Muttered Yuri while clasping her hands together.
“By the way, Uncle Hizashi…”
“Yeah?”
Yuri narrowed her eyes, activating her quirk. “Please don't call me Shota Jr….”Izuku started to walk back to his classroom, wondering what he should do for the Sports Festival. He passes by the Faculty Room only to hear the sound of his teacher, and a voice of a girl that sounded strangely like the former.
“Yuri, you can't take these off, I'm still injured!”
Izuku stood in front of the door, slightly scared by the harsh yet kind of playful tone in his teacher's voice.
“Do you or do you not want to be fed!? Because if so, I can't feed you with that bandage wrapped around your mouth!”
Hearing that response towards a man like Aizawa caused Izuku to peek through the door.
Through the door, he saw his teacher muttering something, and a girl who looked about his age. In a nutshell, she was basically a smaller, female version of Aizawa with violet eyes instead of black. The girl who is apparently ‘Yuri’, was trying to move the bandages near his teacher's mouth.

‘Geez, she looks like she hasn't slept in weeks’ thought Izuku as he examined the very dark circles underneath the girl's eyes.

“Dad, your mouth isn't even damaged. I don't see why you're making a big deal out of that.” Yuri wondered, slightly relieved seeing an easier way to feed her father.
‘Dad!? Am I hearing that correctly!? Aizawa Sensei is a father?’ Izuku’s thoughts were scrambling around with this new information.
‘No, no! For all I know, she could be his cousin!’
“Hey dad, wasn't the door closed when Uncle Hizashi left?” Izuku felt the blood drain from his face as he heard footsteps heading towards the door.
‘Aw, crap!’
“Is someone the-”
-RING RING RING-
Isuku silently thanked his quick luck as the bell rang, taking this chance to run off to his classroom. While Yuri was left to catch just a second of him before he disappeared into the crowd.
“Who was that?” Shota asked, turning his head towards his slightly confused daughter. Yuri turned to his direction, trying to remember what was merely a blur from her perspective.
“I'm guessing it was a student by the uniform. He had dark curly green hair from what I could tell. Could've sworn that was one of your students….” Yuri muttered as she looked off to the distance, trying to recall the student files Shota showed to her before school started. “Midoriya Izuku, if my memory serves correct….”
“You sure? I haven't known my students long enough, but he doesn't seem like the one to eavesdrop on a conversation.”
Yuri shrugged. “I don't know, it might've been another student for all I know….”
The raven haired girl picked up her chopsticks and continued to feed her father, but had a thought at the back of her head.
‘Oh god, he didn't hear me say ‘Dad’ did he….?’

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

“These books look like they are over a hundreds of years old!” The boy exclaimed, looking at the books’ deteriorating texture and crumpled pages.

“I know right? I heard from my mama that these used to be read to my ‘Grandparents’ when they were little!” The girl said excited, looking through the book collection.

“When ‘they’ were little? You mean these are ‘that’ old?” the boy said, baffled.

“Well, that's what my mama told me!”

The two looked through the old books, recognizing a few titles here and there. They laughed at the illustrations that were on the covers, attempting to recreate it themselves. They wanted to actually read it, but they still couldn't understand kanji well. So they ended up just guessing what the characters were doing by their gestures and facial expressions. This went on for a while with every book, up until the last one.

The cover showed a girl wearing a suit full of armor, standing in front of a boy that was dressed in proper attire. The boy looked scared but also safe, the girl looked determined to fight whoever gets near her friend. The two looked at the picture in awe.

“Oh! This is the one my mama read to me! It's one of her favorites!”

“Really? What's it about?”

“After hearing it so many times, I remember most of the words! Want me to read it to you?” The girl suggested, hopping off the ground to her bed. Already flipping through the pages towards her favorite part.

“Uh, you know I always get sleepy after a story.…” the boy protested sheepishly, turning slightly red in the cheeks.

“Well, this can be a bedtime story if you want to.”

“R-really? Okay then….”

So the story was told, with the girl mispronouncing a few words at times. But otherwise nailing the story correctly. As stated before, in the middle of the story the boy started to stir a little. And to his surprise, the girl placed his head in her lap and continued to read. The boy was stunned to say the least, but relaxed as the girl slightly massaged his scalp through his hair. He tried to stay awake so he could continue feeling this, but his eyes started drooping and he began to sleep.

But not before feeling something small peck his forehead did he feel at total ease.

“Oh! You're going to absolutely love it here!” Midnight cooed at the 14 year old, talking to her like a 4 year old. Yuri furrowed her brows as she balanced her head on her hand, struggling to stay awake.
“Really? You sure I won't look weird to the other students?”
Midnight took a dramatic step back while placing her hand on her chest where her heart is. “Now, why would anyone think you're weird!?” exclaimed Midnight. Yuri merely rolled her eyes at the hero and rubbed the back of her neck with her unoccupied hand.
“Aunt Nemuri, you have to be honest that you found it pretty weird to find my dad sleeping on his desk when you two went to school.”
“I mean--yeah sure, but you just have to work on your sleep schedule and you might not end up like your dad!”
“Easier said than done, Aunt Nemuri....” muttered Yuri, internally cursing at herself that she forgot her coffee at home.
“Well either way, I can guarantee you that you will enjoy being enrolled at this place!” Midnight excitedly said, slightly jumping up and down.
The raven haired teenager thought for a moment before speaking. “Well, what should I expect besides training to be a hero?”
“Ooh! Well expect some good service with the food! Just have your wallet and order ready and you'll be in food paradise!” Yuri watched as Midnight thought or more things to ‘wow’ her.
‘For a hero that's for mature audiences, she sure is childish….’
The conversation kept on going as Midnight marveled at the things that you can only get at U.A., while Yuri listened, intrigued. Yuri used to spend a lot of time with Midnight when she was younger, alongside with Present Mic. But with their herowork and Yuri’s messed up sleep schedule, those kinds of events rarely ever happen anymore. Both Yuri and Midnight missed them, and the latter will savor every second she has if given the chance.
“Uhm…. Aunt Nemuri? I think I get the idea, don't tire yourself….” muttered Yuri, becoming increasingly concerned as the Pro Hero starts struggling to think of new things to tell her.
“N-No! Hold on, I know there are more things!” Midnight said defiantly, refusing to stop this conversation…. If you could call it that….
“Aunt Nemuri….”
“B….b….Boys!! Of course! How could ‘I’ forget something like that!?” Midnight jumped in her seat as she found a subject that might interest the young teen. But to her dismay, all she saw was a confused glint in her usual deadpan expression.
“Uh….yeah….boys….of course I'm gonna expect that in a school….” Yuri expressed with a more visible confused expression.
“....Geez, Eraser really kept you under a strict roof didn't he…--Well, these boys won't be any old boys if you're applying for the hero course!” Midnight argued, already imagining sweet scenarios with the oblivious teenager. “Since they are training to be heroes, at least a few of them are bound to have both a good heart and a nice bod’ to go with it~!” she bantered, hoping to see a change on the younger girl’s face.
For a moment, Yuri had to decipher what the hero just said. Before having a somewhat hopeful glimmer in her eyes. Midnight thought she actually brought Yuri to a new…. somewhat…. indecent light. But was immediately dashed off from the girl’s words.
“If I have a class with people that have good morals and fighting skills, I can finally have friends that have the same interests as me! My god, how did that not dawn on to me before!?” Yuri stated, leaving her aunt very confused
“Wait…. I was talking about more like…. getting into a relationship with them….?”
“Well yeah, I can't be friends with them if I don't get a relationship with them first.” Yuri explained. Midnight still being left confused.
“Yuri, I don't mean a friend, I meant like a ‘Boyfr-”
Before Midnight could finish her sentence, they both heard a distant sound of laughter coming from outside the faculty room. Not less than a second later, the door busted open with a rush of smoke and steam following it.
Instantly knowing who it was, Midnight covered the young teen’s eyes while pushing her towards the door to the hallway. “Oh, won't you look at the time!? Yuri, make your Aunt Nemuri proud and make sure your father didn't leave anything in his classroom!” Midnight shrieked very close to the girl and successfully getting past the man.
Yuri, on the other hand was trying to peel off the hands covering her eyes. (Or more accurately, the hand that was covering her left eye. She's used to her right eye being covered.) “Wh-- Aunt Nemuri-- stop covering-- stop PUSHING!!” babbled Yuri as she tried to speak while not only removing the Pro Hero’s hand, but also trying to grind her feet to the ground to stop moving. But her actions were proved pointless as she was shoved out the door, landing on her knees.
The teen groaned from the rough action but quickly pushed that thought aside as she looked up to see a bunch of students run past her and towards a classroom. ‘Geez, must be an important event….’ Yuri decided she might as well do what Midnight asked her to do. She lifted herself up and looked at the classroom signs above the doors. But she immediately grimaced as she saw the ‘1-A’ sign right above the classroom where the students were swarming.
‘Oh you have got to be kidding me…. I am not going through ‘THAT’ just for a bunch of papers that might not even be there….!’

Yuri huffed and stood in the corner, hoping no one would notice her lack of uniform. Fortunately, all the students seem to have their attentions towards the conversation going down in the front. She listened on, curious to know what is causing this much attention.
‘I almost forgot some people in the General Ed department also signed up for the hero course…. but didn't make it….’
She got a closer look at the student , he had wild indigo hair that was sticking out in different directions, with eyes that share the same colour that were half-lidded and with dark eye bags below it like her own.
‘Hm…. he's actually kind of cute…. hm….’
After staring at him for a few more seconds, kind of ignoring what happened after the boy's speech. Yuri finally snapped out of it after seeing the students leaving the classroom. She also mentally slapped herself for staring in the first place.
‘God, I'm such a creep! What is wrong with me….?’
She started to move towards the classroom, but was met with major disappointment in seeing that her father didn't leave anything behind.
“Are you actually serious….?” Yuri took a deep breath and pinched the bridge of her nose. “I just wasted my time….”
The teen looked around one more time, making sure she didn't miss anything, before leaving the classroom. While walking around a pretty secluded area of the building, she began getting lost in thought.
‘Since the day’s ended, dad’s probably gonna take his paperwork home to do it. Mom’s probably gonna still have her shift by that time, so that just leaves me or Shinichi to cook dinner. I'll probably have to run by the store to pick some ingredients though…. hm…. Wonder what those two want. I'll ask Nobuko this time since Shinichi picked last time. Maybe I'll make some soba noo-’

“....Yuri….? Yuri, is that you?”

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

The girl excitedly jumped in her seat as she was going to her friend’s house. Her mother bought her a big stuffed bear for getting good grades. But she already had one stuffed animal. So she thought this would be a great gift for her friend, since it was his 5th birthday just about a week ago. Even though she already gave him a gift when it was actually his birthday.

“Do you think Shou-chan will like this?” The 4 year old asked her mother as she was driving.

“I’m positive he will dear, he’s loved all the other gifts you’ve given him. So I’m sure he’ll love this one as well.”

The girl hopped off the car, looking back at her mother waving inside the car.

“I’ll be back before dinner, if not your papa will be the one to pick you up. Bye Yuri!” The woman smiled cordialy before rolling up the window and taking off.

The girl carried the bear to the front door and knocking on it. The door opened to a tween girl that had snow white hair with bits of red in it.

“Oh! Yuri-chan! I’m guessing you’re here for Shouto? I hate to break it to you, but he’s training with our dad.”

“Well, can I wait for him?”

“Sure, you can stay here and I’ll call you when Shouto is done.” The older girl then went to somewhere in the house. While the younger one sat on the couch and waited.

That was until she heard the sound of wailing in one room. It sounded an awful lot like her friend. Her curiosity got the better of her and she followed the noise.

She found the room that was causing it and silently slid it open. To her horror, she found her friend kneeled down, coughing violently on the floor. With throw up in front of him.

The girl wanted to believe it was just something he ate that caused that, but when she saw the boy’s father looming over him with his fist clenched. She had to reluctantly agree that his father was the one who did it.

“Get up, if you’re downed by something like this, forget about beating All Might, you won’t even be able to take the small fry villains.” The man’s cold and rash voice made the girl shudder. It saddened her even more to see that he didn’t even feel sorry.

“Please, stop! He’s only five!” A woman with snow white hair came into view, rushing to the boy’s side.

“Shou….-chan….?” The girl asked quietly as she looked shocked and confused as to why her friend’s father was just scolding him instead helping him.

“He’s ‘already’ five! Get out of my way!”

SMACK!

Her eyes widened even more as the woman was harshly smacked just because she was ‘In his way’.

The woman whimpered on the ground, the girl’s friend instantly looked up. Focusing on his mother.

“M-mom…!”

His father however started to walk towards him. Not being able to just watch this happen, the girl instantly dropped her gift and ran towards her friend.

“St-stop it! Can’t you see he’s hurt!?” The girl protectively spread her arms out in front of her friend. “You’re his dad right? You should be helping him, not hurting him!” The man glared at her, unfazed.

“Urgh…. You moronic child, get out of my way before I do something I regret.”

“No! I won’t let you hurt him!”

Having enough of this, the man roughly grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and tossed her to the side. Her arm hit a cabinet, causing it to sprain and for her to cry out in pain.

The man proceeded to walk towards his son, who was even more shocked to see his friend being hurt like that. But the man was stopped dead in his tracks when he noticed the flames around his beard weren’t appearing anymore.

He then turned around in the direction of the girl. And saw that she picked herself up and was now standing while clutching her sprained arm. But the thing that caught the man’s eye were the ones that were staring right back at him.

Instead of her normal violet hues, it was a bright red, her eye becoming red itself from the lack of moisture in them. There was also a sort of black liquid coming out of her unharmed arm. Forming a sort of blade near her fingertips.

“I said…. I WON’T LET YOU HURT HIM!!”

“Yuri….? Yuri, is that you?”She stopped in her tracks, eyes widening as she tried to figure out who said her name.It was definitely a male who said that, it sounded mature but then again it could also be a teen. But the latter should be impossible since no student should know who she is.The voice also sounded somewhat smooth and confident in saying her name despite asking if it really was.He also used no honorifics, the only people who call her by just her name were her parents. But that didn’t sound like any of them….Taking a deep breath, she tried to think of the most logical explanation. ‘There’s a bunch of students enrolled here. So there are bound to be other students named ‘Yuri’. He probably mistaken me for one of them.’ Yuri relaxed a bit, seeing that she was just worrying for nothing.“I’m sorry, you must have mistaken me for someone el-”Yuri tried to get her sentence through but the moment her eyes landed on the person talking to her, her breath got lodged at the back of her throat.‘It….it can’t be….’Yuri’s eyes were now wide open as her violet hues looked at grey and blue ones that stared right back at her. She wanted to say something to break the silence that seemed to go on for hours. But all she can do was back away slowly, her breathing getting shorter and more panicked. The boy looked slightly hurt from the reaction. But that also confirmed his question.“So it is
you…. Yuri-”“Don’t call me that….” Yuri interrupted quickly the moment her name left his lips. Breathing, starting to become a trial for her. Audibly starting to hyperventilate.
‘It’s just him…. Why am I acting like this….?’
The boy grimaced as he saw her reply, but also refused to back away. Walking towards her.“Yuri, please I just want to t-”“Hgk!” The boy stopped in his tracks, taking a small step back. He watched as the girl placed her hands up to her mouth. Her cheeks becoming slightly puffed.Yuri felt bile rise to her throat, threatening to spill out of her mouth. Her nerves felt numb and she couldn’t move her legs anymore. With all her strength, she managed to speak. Despite it being incredibly disgusting to do so.“I…. I told you, don’t call me tha-- Hggk!!” Yuri started to gag violently. The idea of throwing up becoming more likely to happen. Knowing what might happen if she just stands there, Yuri bolted towards the direction of the girl’s restroom. Leaving the boy shocked as she disappeared into the corner.

‘She must be here because of Mr. Aizawa…. Dammit, she might not want to go back here tomorrow. I just got her back, I can’t lose her again.’

After running away, her urge to vomit started to die down and just swallowed the stuff that was still in her throat. Even if it was really disgusting. Her pace also died down and she was back to normal. After regaining her consciousness, she immediately scolded herself for running away.
‘Oh, why did I do that!? You don’t see your friend for nearly a decade, and the first thing you do is almost throw up and run away!? Some friend ‘You’ are!’
Yuri placed her hand on her forehead in shame and embarrassment. Luckily most of the students left already so no one really noticed her. All except for one person that nudged her on the shoulder with his own.“Yuri, what are you doing out here? You’re supposed to be in the faculty room.” Shota mumbled underneath his bandages, kind of irritated seeing his daughter out in the open instead of inside of the safety of the private faculty room.Yuri removed her hand from her head and looked up at her father. “Well, Aunt Nemuri had me go get some stuff in your classroom in case you forgot something.” Yuri started to rub the back of her hand. “So when I saw that you didn’t leave anything, I left and ran into…. Someone….” Her voice lowered near the end of her explanation.Shota realized who that ‘someone’ was by the tone of her voice. Yuri’s voice lacked a tone of emotion when she is just casually talking. But her voice is always clear and loud (as it can get.). So to hear her voice wither only means something is REALLY bothering her. Which is something that rarely happens. Added to the fact that there should only be one student who Yuri knows. And not in a good way.“Oh no, I can’t believe I forgot about him…. Are you okay?” Shota asked, unsure about his daughter’s condition.“I’m alright now…. Can we just go home so me and Shinichi can cook dinner?”Shota knew there was more to it, but decided not to push his already uncomfortable daughter. “Alright, let’s get to the car.”With that, the two left through the front gates of the school. Leaving a dual haired boy to watch them. He glared at the younger one of the two, before looking down at his left hand. He gripped the wrist of it with his right hand, as if to strangle it.‘Damn this cursed side….’ He slowly let go of his wrist and left school to go to his house.
Yuri didn’t remember falling asleep but as she opened her eyes to the sound of knocking, she realized she didn’t cook dinner. She immediately jumped off of bed and sprinted towards the door to open it.“Oh gosh, I completely forgot about dinner! Look, I’ll grab my wallet and we’ll head out to whatever restaurant you guys want! I’ll pay for it Just let me grab my jack-”“Yuri-neesan?” two identical voices called out to her.“Yes Nobuko-chan? Shinichi-kun?” Yuri scrambled to find her jacket in her closet. It was at that moment when Yuri noticed the aroma going around the house. It smelled like cooked beef, a little burnt, but otherwise smelt pretty appetizing. Yuri then looked down to see her two little siblings, standing at the corner of the hallway. On the left was Shinichi. His black hair and glasses were slightly covered with powder, causing it to slightly cover his bright violet eyes that are half-lidded like Yuri’s.To the right was Nobuko, her light lavender hair was tied back into a ponytail. (besides a few locks that fell out.) She had onyx coloured eyes like their father. Although it seems she didn’t get messy with the ingredients, she had a layer of sweat all over her face. ‘She must’ve been the one using the stove.’ Both of them were wearing matching pajamas. (Which just consisted of a black long sleeve shirt and pants.)“Well we just came to tell you that dinner’s ready.” Shinichi said, fixing his glasses’ position.“Who let you use the stove? Mom’s not here, and dad can’t even pick anything up. You guys could have hurt yourselves!” scolded Yuri, slightly relieved to see no burns on their skin.“You were asleep! And we don’t have cellphones yet so we couldn’t contact mom. Besides, we had a cook book so it’s fine.” Nobuko gestured to the thick book in Shinichi’s hands.“Okay, I get calling mom was out of the question, and dad couldn’t help with his current condition. But the keys to my room are by the door, you could have easily woken me up. Sure, I’d be cranky, but it saves you guys from cooking.” Yuri protested, balling up the fabric on her sleeve to her fist and wipe away the powder on Shinichi’s glasses. Despite his slight squirming.“We just wanted to cook for once. It was pretty fun actually.” Shinichi said plainly. Like their father, he wasn’t that expressive with his emotions. “That and dad said something about you being. ‘Too stressed to cook’. Or something along those lines. So we decided to make some beef ramen to relieve some of that. We also reheated the coffee you left this morning. Mostly because we don’t know how to work the coffee machine.”Yuri sighed, reaching up to ruffle their hair with her hands. Shinichi grumbled while Nobuko giggled a little. “Geez, you guys are maturing faster everyday, and you’re only 8 years old.” She laughed a little before walking towards the stairs leading to dining room. “Well if it’s beef ramen, I can’t really complain I guess.”“If you’re worried about it tasting weird, the worst you can expect is too much pepper. Trust me,” Nobuko coughed a little hard while glancing towards their brother. “I was taste testing it….”“It was the book’s fault for not saying that you should pour in the pepper slowly until it was too late!” argued Shinichi, putting the book on the dining table and crossing his arms.“Hehe, don’t worry, I can handle it. Now let’s eat this stew before it gets cold.” Yuri took her seat and prepared a plate. As they were eating, Yuri took her time to glance at her siblings. She could’ve sworn they were a lot taller than she remembered. And less messy with their food.
‘Hm…. guess they can’t always be small and childish forever…. I need to spend more time with them…. I’d be a horrible older sister if I don’t….’

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Yuri looked through her curtain covered windows to see the sun's rays starting to go through them, she had been completely awake from 8:00 in the evening, to 8:00 in the morning. There wasn't really much to do when you're awake during that time of the day besides read and eat. Currently, Yuri was just looking at her ceiling light that was rarely used at all. Even with the sun going through the room, it didn't really do much to brighten it. Yuri's room just composed of a black and purple sheeted bed, a white desk by the side that had a simple desk lamp in the corner, and a dark brown wardrobe for her clothing. (It still has a lot of room in it, no surprise there.)“Hey Yuri, if it’s not too tiring for you, can you run to the store and buy some things? The list is on the counter!” Yuri heard her mother yell from the side of the house. It was a Saturday, and it was kind of early in the morning. Due to Yuri’s sleep schedule, this is usually the time she goes to sleep. But for once, Yuri didn't feel sleepy. Or at least wasn't sleepy enough to just pass out.
“Sure, what do you need me to buy?” The teen watched as the door opened, light leaking into her dark room. Yuri saw a tall woman come into view. Her long lavender hair tied into a lazy ponytail. Instead of her hero costume, she had a pastel yellow sweater that actually worked pretty well with her hair. Underneath were black pajama pants that seemed to just be taken from her father's closet.
“Well, your siblings kind of used the ingredients I intended to use for breakfast today. And also used up some other ingredients as well.”
Yuri stretched her arms over her head, yawning a little before jumping off her bed. It's been a while since she ran an errand before.

“Alright, I'll head to the store and by these. Since it's so early, and it's a Saturday, I'd say this will only take half an hour at most.” uttered Yuri, changing into her leggings and jacket. Her mother passing her the list of groceries. “I'll call you if there's a chance I'm gonna be late.”
She slinged her black bag over her shoulder and headed off.
After getting all the things under half an hour. (and also going through randomly guessing where the food would be before one of the workers showed her directions.) Yuri started to head home, wanting to get a nap before breakfast is ready. On her way, she heard a soft gasp behind her.
“Oh my gosh, is that--oh god, did I say that out loud….?”
Okay, that was definitely a voice she has never heard before. She already faced the worst outcome the last time someone called out to her from behind. But the voice didn't sound anything near to ‘his’ voice, so she felt a little more relaxed.
Deciding to let her curiosity get the best of her, she turned around to a face she only ‘mostly’ haven't seen. He looked around her age, he had round green eyes that were adorned with freckles around them. He was wearing a t-shirt, shorts, with a pair of big red sneakers. The sweat that layered his face and the towel he was holding suggested he just did a workout. But one thing stuck out to her, it was the dark curly green hair that seemed so familiar to her.
“Hold on, haven't I seen you before?” The boy audibly gulped at the statement. “Weren't you the guy that ran from the faculty room? Why were you there anyway?”
The boy started to become more nervous. “W-Well,-- I mean,-- I-I was just-- You, were-”
“Answer the question.” Yuri said with an indifferent expression.
“Well, yeah I was, I was just curious is all.” The boy started to rub the back of his neck. “Mr. Aizawa yelling is something that doesn't really happen.”
“Yeah, being under bandages and being almost completely immobilized will do that to you.”
“You were talking to Mr. Aizawa pretty casually from what I saw. Are you related to him or….” The boy trailed off, hoping the girl would catch on and answer him. But Yuri just narrowed her eyes and took a step back.
“Now that’d be a lot of information to give to someone whom I don't even know myself.”
The boy realized his lack of manners and instantly started apologizing.
“Oh please, forgive me! I'm sorry for being so rude! I-”
“Whoa, calm down. I just want to know your name first. That's all.”
“Oh, well, I'm Midoriya Izuku. I'm one of Mr. Aizawa’s students for this school year.” Midoriya said, raising his hand towards Yuri.
“I knew you looked familiar, anyways, I'm Aizawa Yuri. It's a pleasure to meet you Midoriya-san.” Yuri responded, taking his hand and shaking it.
“So you are related to Mr. Aizawa?”
Yuri averted her gaze, this was a topic her parents warned her about when she gets enrolled to U.A. next year. “Well…. yeah…. I'm his daughter….”
“....”
“....”
“....”
After a few seconds of pure silence, Yuri’s sentence finally managed to settle into Midoriya’s head. Almost in an instant, Midoriya’s eyes blew wide open in realization.
“MR. AIZAWA’S YOUR FATHER!? I MEAN, I KNOW I HEARD YOU CALL HIM ‘DAD’ BEFORE, BUT THAT WAS JUST SPECULATION! I JUST ENDED UP THINKING YOU WERE HIS NIECE OR SOMETHING!!”
“....”
“....”
“Are you done now….?” Yuri asked, hoping the worst of it was over, even putting her hands near her ears for preparation.
“Oh, sorry. It's just that…. No offense to your dad or anything, but he's one of the last people I expect to be a parent.” Midoriya rubbed the back of his head, face slightly red. He really hoped Yuri didn't take that personally. But with her still impassive expression but with the exception of her brows furrowing together. Midoriya started to apologize again.
“L-Like I said! I didn't mean it as an insult or anything, I pro-”
“Okay, first off, you apologize too much. I was just trying to process your words, I wasn't being quiet in disgust.” Yuri put her hands around the boy’s shoulders to stop his (really unnecessary) apology. “Second, I don't blame you for thinking that. I know my dad doesn't really show a…. ‘dad vibe’.... or whatever you people call it. He's not really so open about his private life either, so I guess that's also another reason.”
“Oh thank god….” Midoriya released a breath he didn't know he was holding in. “Well, are you going to do the Sports Festival, Midoriya-san? I saw that you were training for it.” Yuri gestured towards Midoriya’s sweating form and the towel he was holding.
“Yeah, I am! Are you gonna watch?”
Yuri looked up to think. “Well since both of my parents are going, I might go as well. Then again, that depends if my mom will let me go…. I'll have to check with my mom on that. But if I do, I'll definitely watch how you fight.”
“R-Really? You want to see me fight?”
“Well, you're certainly passionate about it, that, and you're the only student I know….” Yuri's voice got kind of quieter during the latter of it, as it was kind of embarrassing for her. “But you seem like a hardworking student from what my dad says, so I'm excited to see if that's true!”
Midoriya smiled at her. “Well that's very nice of you to say! That's certainly a nice motivation to have. Thanks, Aizawa-san!” His cheeks started to turn red. “You're a nice friend!”
‘Friend….?’
Both the teenagers gasped at the word that was used to describe their relationship. The boy, because it felt too forward of him to say to a girl he's only seen twice and talked to once. The girl, because after about a decade of isolation with the exception of her family, the term being used on her made her feel something…. foreign…. at best.
“O-Oh…. was that too soon for me to say? I-I’m really-”
“Okay, please stop apologizing, this is like the fourth time you've apologized to me.”
“But…. you don't think that it's too soon to call us friends?”
“Well… my mom says to call this part of a relationship, ‘acquaintances’. But if you want to call us friends, then that's okay with me. I'd actually be very glad to be called your friend!” Yuri let out a small smile that seemed wide to her.
But before Midoriya could express how he felt about that. Yuri felt dizzy all of a sudden, her legs failing to support her anymore, and her vision starting to blur and having black spots appear. Yuri has had these moments before, where her 'already not so big as it is energy' finally goes out, and she passes out from exhaustion. But she's usually in her room when that actually happens so she just knocks out on her bed. But this time, she was out in the middle of the park. Yuri wanted to fight it and just rush back home, but she knew she can't fight her energy to stop from diminishing. Yuri's fatigue finally caught up to her and Yuri toppled forward with no warning for her or Midoriya. She would've passed out on the ground if it weren't for Midoriya grabbing her body before it hit the ground.
“A-Aizawa-san!?” Midoriya started to go into a panic. ‘Oh god, why did she faint!? Is she sick!? Is this normal for her!? Does she-’
Midoriya’s thoughts and worries were quickly interrupted when he heard a soft snoring coming from Yuri. He let out another exhale of relief. ‘She's just sleeping, she must have been already really tired to just pass out while talking. I should probably take her ho- wait….”
Midoriya looked back at Yuri and realized something he wish he did know.
‘Wait, I DON’T KNOW WHERE SHE LIVES!”
Midoriya started to panic even more as he realized he has now an unconscious girl in his arms and he doesn't even know where she lives.
‘Oh god, should I take her home? I'm sure her parents might call her phone if she's gone for too long. Besides, her eyes make it look like she hasn't slept properly in a while.’

Back in the Aizawa household, Hizuki was anxiously waiting by the front door for Yuri. Fingers repeatedly tapping on the table, feet patting on the hardwood floor.
‘It's been nearly an hour now, where is she? She told me she would call me if it would take longer. There must be some bad service if she can't call. That's got to be it.’
Her thoughts were quickly interrupted by her phone buzzing with Yuri’s name on the screen.
‘Oh thank god, she finally decided to call, she might be near by!’
“Hello, Yuri? Where are you? It's been nearly an hour since you left! Was there traffic or-”
Hizuki was shocked to hear a boy’s voice coming out on the other end and not her daughter.
“E-Excuse me? Who is this? And why do you have my daughter’s phone?”
The lavender haired woman listened to the voice’s explanation, before dropping dead at the last few words.

“Yuri…. fainted….?”

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

After a long walk. (And people giving them confused and sometimes worried looks and stares.) The two teens finally made it to Izuku’s place. Izuku looked over his shoulder which felt like the hundredth time now, and saw the same outcome; Yuri lying peacefully on his back, shuffling every so often in her sleep.
Unlocking the door was shown difficult for Izuku. As he not only had to find his keys in his pockets and use it on the door, but he also had to make sure the person that was on his back doesn't fall off if he's not careful.
After some complications, Izuku finally got the door opened. Inside, he was met with his mother cooking breakfast. Izuku placed Yuri gently onto the couch in the living room, making sure she wasn't placed harshly while doing so.
“Oh, Izuku, you're home! I'm afraid breakfast is still not do-” Inko stopped in her tracks as she saw the black-haired teen resting on the couch.
“Uh, Izuku? Could you please explain who this girl is? And also why is she sleeping on the couch?” Inko raised a confused brow at the scene.
“Oh…. uh…. this is a girl I met in school. We met again while I was training, it was going good until she…. fainted.”
“Fainted!? Why did she faint!?” Into started to inspect the girl for anything like injuries. Besides the major dark circles underneath her eyes, the redness in her cheeks, and the rather thick layering of bandages around her hands. Her body actually looks pretty healthy from injuries. “I'm guessing she was already really tired to begin with.”
“Well what's with the grocery bag?” Into gestured towards the light yellow plastic bag looped around her son’s arm.
“This thing?” Izuku lifted the bag up. “She was holding it before she passed out. There may be a broken egg or two, but other than that, the things she bought is fine.”
Inko raised the back of her hand to Yuri's forehead, resulting in her wincing from the heat radiating from it.
“Oh no, her head is hot. She must have a fever.” Inko began to rush to the sink so she could soak a towel in water.
“Uh…. should I call her mother? She must be worried sick about her.” Izuku shuffled through Yuri's bag, finding a black cell phone with a white silhouette of a cat head on the back.
Izuku pressed the home button and was slightly surprised to see there was no passcode needed to unlock it. ‘I should probably tell her to put a password when she wakes up.’ He scrolled through the contacts and landed on the contact named ‘Mom’.
“This must be ‘Mrs.’ Aizawa…. wonder what she's like….” Izuku hit the dial button and held the phone to his ear, waiting for a response.

‘Hello, Yuri? Where are you? It's been nearly an hour since you left! Was there traffic or-’

“W-Woah! Hold on! I'm sorry, this isn't Yuri. I know this seems bad, but I need to tell yo-”
“E-Excuse me? Who is this? And why do you have my daughter’s phone?” The woman's voice started to become harsh, frightening Izuku a bit.
“Oh so you are Yuri-chan’s mother! Well ma'am, I'm Midoriya Izuku, one of your husband’s students. I met your daughter while I was training, she was walking out of the grocery store when we started to talk. It was going fine but I guess she fainted from exhaustion.”

"Yuri…. fainted….? Oh dear god, please tell me she's okay!"

“Don't worry ma’am, she's resting in my house with my mom. But from what I can tell, she has a fever, a pretty bad one at that.” Izuku turned around to see Yuri shuffling from her spot, her brows were furrowed and her breathing was slightly uneven.

"God, I was so STUPID to let her go out in this time of the day…. where are you two? I'm coming over to see if she is okay"

Izuku heard the woman on the other side running and a door opening. It sounded rushed and rather loud from what he could tell. He also heard the faint sound of grass being stepped on
Izuku said his address to the woman and the she hung up. Izuku was glad to know Yuri’s mother is gonna come over.
But at the same time, it made him wonder something.

‘Hold on, is she gonna drive here or run all the way here….?’

Izuku figured that it's gonna take awhile either way. And decided to just sit by to watch over Yuri.
She looked overall peaceful despite the redness on her face.
The teen knew that it was kind of creepy to do, but he couldn't help but examine Yuri’s features. Especially the ones that seem sort of out of the ordinary for a teenage girl.
Her mostly unbrushed hair that was kind of unruly in some places. Showing that she doesn't really bother to take care of it much. Or at least not to the extent of making it neat and presentable.

‘Well, I guess it looks clean enough, must've gotten that habit from her father’

Her skin was pale enough to be confused for being pure white. So either she's generally not that well, or she almost never goes out when the sun is up. The latter of which is honestly isn't really healthy in it of itself.

‘How many times has she gone out before? Geez, her skin is so pale, how is that even possible?’

Underneath her eyes were big dark circles, Izuku has seen circles like that on Mr. Aizawa. But Yuri’s just seem way more noticeable and darker, Izuku suggested that she must get less sleep than Mr. Aizawa to have worse dark circles than him.

‘I really need to ask her about how much does she sleep. If she goes on like this, I don't know if she can make it past her 20’s.’

The last thing Izuku noticed were the bandages heavily wrapped around her hands. It's something he couldn't put an explanation on. The bandages seem to be somewhat lazily wrapped, most likely by Yuri herself. Almost like she's been putting these on for awhile now.
‘Is there something she's hiding on her hands or something? Well, I shouldn't pry too much into that, must be something personal I guess.’
After looking at her, Izuku decided to go take a shower. Since he just did a workout at the park, and also carried Yuri all the way from that place to his apartment. He must be awfully kind of sweaty. After about an hour and a half later, Yuri finally started to wake up. She tries to open her eyes, but notices something covering about the whole top half of her eyes. It didn't take her long to realize it was a wet towel.
Despite the slight pain in her temples, Yuri slowly raised the towel off from her eyes to fully open them. She saw that she was in a room that she had never been to before. It looked like an apartment from what she can tell, and she was currently at the living room.
The violet eyed teen looked around to see her bag and phone on the coffee table. And the groceries she bought were on the kitchen counter. To which she sighed from relief. At least she didn't have to worry about that.
Yuri also noticed that the sun was still rising, meaning it wasn't noon yet. But also meant she still had to get back home or her family is gone be without breakfast.
With that realization in her head, she quickly sprinted off of the couch, grabbed her belongings and groceries, and headed for the front door. (Or at least to the door that seemed to head towards the exit.)
Before she could reach to it though, the door to Izuku’s room opened to reveal the green eyed teen.
“Oh! Aizawa-san, you're awa-- wait what are you doing?! You're sick!”
Yuri looked to face him, figuring out that this was Izuku’s home that she had woken up to.
“Midoriya-san?” She suddenly remembered about her headache and instinctively rubbed her temples. “Ugh…. uh, were you the one who brought me here?”
“Yes, I was.” Izuku raised his finger to his cheek, slightly scratching it while remembering what happened. “You kind of fainted in the middle of our conversation. I'm guessing it was from just pure exhaustion?”
Yuri kind of face palmed as she recalled. “Oh yeah, I fainted. Well, to confirm your guess, yes, it was from fatigue. I guess I was just using my already little energy.”
“Oh no, I didn't cause that, did I? If I didn't interrupt you, you could've made it back before you would lose all your energy. Then I wouldn't have had to call your mom, and she wouldn’t have had to run all the way from your house to mine. Which, by the way, was over an hour ago now. Oh god, Aizawa-san, what have I done?” Izuku’s muttering started to become a little out of control. He felt even more guilty to think that he was the reason for a girl collapsing.
“Wait, what? You think you're responsible for my fainting?” Yuri asked, widening her eyes a little bit. “No, Midoriya-san, my home was still kind of far from where we started to talk. Even if you didn't talk to me, there's still a very high chance I would've fainted.” Yuri explained as she raised her hands in a ‘calm down’ motion towards Izuku.
“Yeah, I know but, just to let you know, I am really so-”
“My God, Midoriya-san, did you forget about what I said about apologizing? I told you, I would've fainted even if you didn't talk to me. So don't blame yourself.”
Izuku wanted his apology to get through. But after Yuri’s simple and sort of urgent request, he decided to drop it.
Letting out a sigh, signaling to Yuri that he gave up. Which caused her to release a sigh herself.
The two stood there for about 5 seconds, before Yuri recalled something in Izuku’s little rant.
“Wait, you said you called my mo-”

BANG BANG BANG BANG

To say the least, the two teens were shocked at the loud knock of the door.
Which also caused Izuku’s mom to instantly rush out of her room to see what the noise is about.
“W-What on earth was that?! Was that the front door?”
“Yeah, I think so Mom…. well, we can be for certain that whoever’s out there sure knocks hard….hehe” Izuku tried to laugh, but was honestly kind of terrified, that wasn't just a loud knock, that was a powerful knock. He was kind of surprised to see that the door hadn't gone off the hinges.
“Okay, my guess may not be correct, but I think I know who's out there….” Yuri said, already predicting who was on the other side.
Izuku started to step back in slight fear of who might be in the front of his apartment door.
Seeing that Izuku wasn't going to open it, Yuri took the role and started to open the door to reveal who was outside.
“Wait, Aizawa-san, at least look through to see who it is for sure-”
Unfortunately, Yuri doesn't know what that means and just opened the door wide.
In the doorway was a crouched down woman, panting and stabilizing herself on the door’s frame with her right hand, and her left hand on her knee. She was panting rather heavily, as if she had just ran a marathon.
The woman's face was covered by a black cotton face mask, the only thing that was visible were her bright violet eyes. Mirroring Yuri’s own.
She had long wavy lavender hair that reached just above her hip and was tied to a low hanging ponytail. It looked kind of messy from all the running she did.
Her outfit consisted of a long sleeve pastel yellow shirt, underneath a rolled up denim jacket. Below were normal jeans and dress shoes.
After a few more moments of taking in deep breaths, the woman stood up to stand at her full height. Which was pretty tall compared to the people inside of the apartment.
“Oh god, mom, did you run from the house all the way here?!” Questioned Yuri, showing deep concern for her mother.
“Yeah, I did. To my surprise, that young man’s place is pretty far from where we live. Not to mention the people who were crowding the sidewalks made it pretty hard for me to get here.” Hizuki exclaimed, still taking in breaths, waiting for her heartbeat to settle down.
“But enough about me, this young man I presume told me you fainted and got a fever.” Hizuki gestured towards Izuku. “And I see he took you in and looked after you. I have to say, besides my own son, I don't think I've ever met a boy with such hospitality and kindness such as yours.”
At those words, Izuku instantly turned red. ‘Jeez, this woman really has a way with her words doesn't she?’
“Oh, it wasn't much, any person would've done the same in that situation ma’am.” The green haired teen scratched the back of his head modestly.
“I doubt that …. but anyways, regardless, I deeply thank you for looking after my daughter until I could get here. I'm sure it was quite difficult, seeing how you had to carry her all the way here.”
“It was no problem, I was happy to help Mrs. Aizawa!” Izuku flashed the two a small smile.
“Well, regardless if you had a hard time or not, I can't thank you enough for what you have done.” Hizuki then preceded to put one hand on her stomach, another one on her back and bowed in front of Izuku and Inko.
Something about how she talked, her long lavender hair, her mannerisms, and that gesture she just did reminded Izuku of someone. But for some reason, can't put his finger on who.
“Well mom, I still kind of have a headache but overall I'm fine. But you should really get some rest before we go. Otherwise, you're going to end up fainting like me.” Yuri said, rubbing on her mother's shoulders to ease them a bit.
Hizuki, wanting to make sure, put the back of her hand on her daughter’s forehead. It was a little hotter than normal, but otherwise was fine. She decided that she’ll commute with Yuri back home, (because by god, if her legs don't catch a break anytime soon, she won't be able to feel them for about an hour.) and take care of Yuri there.
“I know Yuri, it's just that this is the first time something like this has ever happened. I don't exactly know how to react.” Hizuki tried to explain herself. “I also had to leave your brother, sister and father to your Uncle Hizashi’s place to eat breakfast. Rest assured, my tasks were pretty out of line.”
“Oh, that means you haven't eaten breakfast yet?” Inko asked, walking towards Hizuki. Which looks kind of awkward considering their height difference. “Shouldn't you eat something?”
“Hm? Oh, it's fine. I can manage until me and Yuri get home. I'm sure you and Izuku-kun have things to do. Me and my daughter wouldn't want to keep you waiting.” Hizuki loosely gripped her hand onto her daughter's shoulder, leading them out. “Besides, I have been waiting to restock on groceries, so I'd like to get that finished.”
Before the mother and daughter could get through the door. Izuku abruptly reached out for Yuri’s hand. Jolting the latter still in her place.
“W-Wait! Aizawa-san!” Yuri turned around, waiting to hear what Izuku has to say. “Do you maybe, want to exchange phone numbers?” Izuku flushed at his own question. He has never asked someone to do that, let alone a girl.
Yuri just looked at him with a big dead-panned expression, trying to piece together what he just asked.
“Why would you want to switch your phone number with mine? That doesn't make any sense….”
At first, Izuku was very confused at the girl's words. But then realized that Yuri might have taken the phrase too literally.
“What? N-no! I meant, I give you my phone number, and you give me yours so we can message each other.” Izuku tried to explain to her, this girl is clearly under a strict roof if she doesn't know what the line. ‘Exchange numbers’ mean.
“Oh, that's what that means? Well, I guess, yeah sure, why not?” Yuri preceded to rummage through her pocket to reach for her phone. “You’ll have to forgive me, I’ve never done these sorts of things before.”
“It’s okay, neither have I.”
The two teenagers put their contacts into each other’s phones.
“So, I guess you’ll call me if you need anything. I warn you that I’m asleep during majority of the day. So I’m sorry if I don’t answer the first time.”
Izuku nervously chuckled. “I’ll keep that in mind ,I guess.”
Hizuki audibly cleared her throat to catch the teens’ attention. “Well, with that cleared up. I feel like we should be heading home now, Yuri. You still haven’t eaten breakfast, and I still need to take care of your fever.”
“I know mom, I’m going.” Yuri put her phone back in her pocket and followed her mother out the door. “I hope I’ll see you in the Sports Festival, Midoriya-san.”
Inko and Izuku watched and waved at the pair leaving.
“What a nice girl. It seems you’ve made yourself a new friend.” said Inko.
“Y-Yeah. I guess I have….”
As Hizuki and Yuri began their walk towards their house. A thought bubbled up into Hizuki’s mind.

‘After so long, you finally decided to make a friend again, huh….?’

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Yuri just wanted a quick bite to eat, go back home, and then get some sleep until lunch was ready. To her dismay, two people delayed that plan by latching themselves onto her when she made only about 2 feet into the apartment.
“You have no idea how worried we were!” Nobuko cried into Yuri’s sleeve. “I can't even remember how many times we've asked Uncle Hizashi to drive us to where you and mom were!” The lavender haired girl tightly gripped onto her sister’s arm, so tight in fact that Yuri even stumbled forward a bit from the grip.
Yuri could still see Nobuko’s face, she had visible tears coming out. For as long as she knew, and even with her excelled intelligence for her age, Nobuko thought almost nothing could bring her sister down. Hearing that she fainted shocked her to say the least.
Yuri’s focus was stuck on her little brother, who was practically stuffing his face into her chest.
The teen was caught sort of off guard by this action, but chuckled lightly as she heard soft sniffling coming from him. Shinichi was trying really hard not to cry.
‘Oh yeah, he hates people seeing him cry, he thinks he looks ugly when he does….’
“Of course, he said ‘no’ everytime. Otherwise, we would've been to you guys an hour ago.” mumbled Shinichi. “We wanted to complain, but he was the one cooking breakfast, so we weren't exactly had the position to.”
“Oh, so I assume you two have eaten breakfast?” The children heard their mother as she put away her jacket by the front door.
“Yeah, Uncle Hizashi cooked us something as soon as you left through the door. I'm not even exaggerating, he rushed towards the refrigerator as soon as the door snapped shut.” Nobuko said, chuckling as she remembered how fast and loud her uncle cooked.
“It was kind of rushed, but it was pretty good either way.” Shinichi finally removed himself from his sister, rubbing away the tears that still remained. “We left half of it on the table if you want some. Uncle Hizashi said to just reheat it before he had to leave with dad.” He pointed towards the dining table, where there was half an omelette covered in plastic wrap.
“Well, it certainly leaves out cooking for me. Good thing, because I'm sure your sister is starving by now.” Hizuki rubbed Yuri's shoulder, concerned. “How about I heat this up in the microwave for us, then we head back home?”
Yuri rested her head on her hand as she layed on the couch. She looked ready to fall back asleep. “Sure, that would be nice….”
Hizuki sighed “Yuri, could you stay awake for just a few more minutes? The food won't take long to heat up.” Hizuki took the plate and placed it in the microwave.
“Yeah, I'll try my best to stay awake….” Yuri’s already lidded eyes were starting to get lower. “I'll….try….--”

‘BZZT~! BZZT~!’

“Wh-What!?”
Yuri quickly pulled out her vibrating phone out of her pocket. She saw the icon of a message bubble at the top corner of the home screen.

‘Who's texting me….?’

She opened her contacts list and saw the name ‘Midoriya Izuku’ at the top of the list.
‘Midoriya-san? Why is he texting me?’
Midoriya Izuku‘Hey Aizawa, are you feeling okay?’
Yuri was taken slightly aback, they haven't even known each other for a whole day and he's asking about her well being. She unconsciously smiled a little as she thought about it.
Aizawa Yuri‘I'm definitely doing better than when I first woke up. Thank you for asking Midoriya.’
As she sent her reply, she couldn't help but feel something a little foreign to her as she settled in the thought that she has a new friend. Someone around her age no less.
Izuku sent another message to Yuri. The violet eyed teen opened the texting app again to see what Izuku sent her.
Midoriya Izuku‘If it's not too much to ask, do you have any plans tomorrow?’
Yuri has texted people before. Her parents, their close friends, anyone else along those lines. So she isn't new to questions over text. But this is a question no one has ever asked her.
‘It's just a simple question. I have no plans, so it's okay to answer him.’
Aizawa Yuri‘As far as I know, I have no plans tomorrow. Why do you ask?’
Midoriya Izuku (10:50 am)‘I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after I'm done training?’
‘Hang out’
That was a term she never had before. Her parents sometimes did a hangout with their friends. But Yuri herself or her siblings never really ‘hanged out’ with people that weren't their close friends or family.
Aizawa Yuri‘It depends, what do you need me for?’
Midoriya Izuku‘Need?’
‘I just want to spend some time with you.’
‘Unless you're uncomfortable with that. I understand.’
That foreign feeling started to grow a little stronger in her. She decided to just try to ignore it and continued on with her conversation.
Aizawa Yuri‘No, I'm okay with it. I just haven't done these things before, so I don't really know what you're supposed to do at a hang out.’
Midoriya Izuku‘Honestly, I haven't really done them either myself. But all you need to know is that you go hang out with people to get to know them better.’
Aizawa Yuri‘That actually sounds pretty nice. Then, I'd like to hang out with you Midoriya.’
Midoriya Izuku‘Really?’
‘Great! When do you want to hang out?’
Aizawa Yuri‘I can try to wake up around 3:00 pm. I'll have to set up an alarm for that.’
Midoriya Izuku‘3 is perfect! Where do you want to meet?’
Aizawa Yuri‘Maybe we can go to the park where you and I first met.’
Midoriya Izuku‘I can do that.’
‘I’ll see you then?’
Aizawa Yuri‘Okay, I'll text you if something causes me to be late, or just not attend overall.’
“So, what's so interesting that it makes you stare at your phone for this long?”
Yuri turned her head to see her little sister standing rather close to her face. She didn't know what surprised her more; Nobuko standing that close to her, or her not noticing Nobuko in the first place.
“Oh--Nobuko, I was texting a friend. Did you need something?” said Yuri, internally wondering if she spent a long time texting. ‘It was just a few lines. Surely, it couldn't have taken long.’
“Well, I just came to say that mom is done heating the omelette.”
“Oh, okay. Thanks for reminding me, Nobuko.”
Yuri made her way towards the table, where Hizuki setted up her plate already. Hizuki herself pulled down her black face mask and was already eating. Yuri pulled herself a chair and cutted just a small portion of the food.
“Please eat a lot Yuri.” Hizuki commanded, seeing how little Yuri took. “The last thing we need after all these events this morning is you not eating as much as you need to.” explained Hizuki. Yuri sighed a little before taking a bigger portion.
“Much better.”
Ten minutes went by. Nobuko and Shinichi were reading their books by the couch, while Yuri and Hizuki were almost done eating. The apartment was completely devoid of sound besides the occasional coughs or clearing of throats from one of them. Yuri decided to break the silence, which was really rare.
“Mom, can I go out tomorrow afternoon?”
At this, Hizuki instantly raised her head from the new question.
“You want to…. Wait, what? Yo-You want to go out? I mean, sure, you can go out. I have nothing wrong with that. It's fine by me, but could you explain to me why you want to go out?” stammered Hizuki. None of her children has ever asked this question before, nor has she ever really asked this to her own parents, so she doesn't exactly know how to respond to that.
“Midoriya-san asked me if he wanted to hangout.” explained Yuri. “I already said yes, but I just wanted your permission so I can cancel it as soon as possible in case you say no.”
Hizuki stared into the corner, wondering if she should let her. “Yuri, after what just happened, I think you should rest for awhile.”
“Mom, I just have a small headache, I'm sure it will be fine by tonight.” Yuri tried to reason with her.
“I know, but you never know what might happen! You could get a massive fever in the middle of the city for all we know.”
“You know I can handle a headache. I've been through worse mom, I'll be fine. Mom, that fainting was just the result of me not thinking rationally. It's just a simple hangout, I heard that lots of people my age do that a lot.” Yuri stared back at her mother with her usual deadpanned expression, but with her eyebrows furrowed in a sort of pleading way.
As much as Yuri loved and respected her mother, she really wanted her to let go of some of her boundaries for once.
Hizuki hated starting arguments, she found that they all lead to nowhere, and just stress people instead of helping them. She also hated starting something negative with her children.
Not wanting to start the afternoon on a sour note, she just caved in and agreed. “Alright fine, I guess you are old enough to go out. But can you promise me you're not gonna do anything reckless?”
Yuri, a little confused, tilted her head. “What can you possibly do in a hangout that could be considered ‘reckless’?”
“It really depends on what kind of people you're hanging out with. But Midoriya-san doesn't seem like that kind of person, so I'm hoping you'll be fine.”
Hizuki stood up and grabbed their dishes from the table. “I'll go wash these and then we'll go home. You can go rest at the couch.”
Already on her way to the couch, Yuri yawned and responded. “Will do mom, will do.”

The next day, Yuri actually didn't stay awake the entire night and slept again at around 4:00 in the morning, so she could fully wake up at around 12:00 noon.
“Uh…. mom?”
“Yes, Nobuko?”
“Why is Yuri-neesan dressed like that?” Nobuko pointed to where Yuri was quietly reading a book, and she was indeed dressed kind of weird, for her standards at least.
She was dressed in a dark grey dress shirt, black jeans, and dark brown boots. Of course her bandages are still there. The last thing that caught Nobuko’s watchful eyes was that her long wavy hair was tied back into a ponytail, besides the locks of hair that covered her right eye.
“Oh, she's going out with a friend. Don't know why she couldn't have picked her usual clothing, but I guess that's her choice to make.” Said Hizuki, focusing her attention on an evenly stacked set of papers in front of her.
“Mom, is it just me, or are you strangely calm about this….?” Nobuko asked, a little concerned.
“Don't worry Nobuko, I'm just trying to stay calm….” Hizuki’s face was obscured by the document she was holding, so Nobuko couldn't tell how she's feeling.
“‘Stay calm’? From what?-”
“You'll understand when Yuri gets back from her hangout and you see how I react….” Nobuko noticed how her mother's hands seem to shake a little, crinkling the paper at her fingertips.
“O….kay?”
Sometime later, it was about a quarter to three. Yuri decided it was time to go now. With a thermos full of coffee in hand, she headed out the door.
“So, uh…. I'll call you when I get home. If I don't make it back by 7:30, then call me.”
Hizuki took in a rather big breath, before responding. “Okay, I'll do that. Be safe Yuri….”
“I will, mom. Don't worry. Goodbye mom, goodbye Nobuko-chan.”
And with that, Yuri left. Leaving Nobuko to wave enthusiastically, and Hizuki to let out a sigh of both relief that she managed to keep her temper, and regret knowing that she just let her child that caught fever yesterday out the door like that.
Hizuki had the biggest urge to just rush out and pull Yuri back into the safety of their home. But seeing Yuri put this much effort for this hangout. Hizuki couldn't find the heartless courage to do so.
‘She's 14, Hizuki. You knew these kinds of things were gonna happen sooner or later. She's not 4 anymore, she can handle herself just fine.’
Hizuki left to her office at the end of the hallway. It was generally pretty big, it only seemed kind of cramped because of the wide book shelves on the sides.
Each shelf was tightly cramped with binders, boxes, books, and folders. Each of them was filled with documents and files. It varied from records, to data, to even just reports she's made over her career.
After so many years, the usually very spacious office was slowly becoming smaller and smaller. As Hizuki refuses to throw any of them away.
She made her way to her desk chair, clasped her hands together, and started to actually start her paperwork. Instead of just looking at it to distract herself.
But despite her best efforts, the thought of any of her children, let alone Yuri, hanging out alone with someone they barely know themselves just kept clogging Hizuki’s head. She just had her pen stay still at the surface of the paper, holding it just above so the ink won't stain it.
‘Stop worrying Hizuki, this is just part of growing up, you have to just accept it….’
Hizuki eyes scanned around her desk so she can be distracted at least a little.
‘Yuri is more than capable of taking care of herself, she's not the same girl anymore….’
A sleek black pen holder that was only occupied by a red pen. She never really used her red pen.
‘That incident was out of both of your guys’ control, you couldn't have known….’
A full neat stack of papers filled with reports and data she is always given around 3 in the morning when her shift is done. She always does them in the morning when she wakes up.
‘It's been ten years! She should have at least recovered a little….’
Hizuki’s eyes finally landed on the set of framed pictures she had settled up near the far end of the corner. As to provide some life in this otherwise dark room, but to also not really distract her from her thought process.
But dammit, some actual effective distraction is something she really needs right now. Otherwise, she can't think of anything else.
‘She’s FINE….’
There were only three pictures there. One was when Hizuki was still a first year in U.A., she pretty much looked like Yuri but with lavender hair and less pale skin. Only the top half her face was visible, as a cloth face mask was still covering the rest. If she remembered correctly, the one who took the picture was her mother. Young Hizuki was holding her book in the middle of her chest, and is timidly waving at the camera.
‘Besides, those two haven't seen each other since….’
The second one was of Nobuko and Shinichi as small 3 year olds. The picture was shot while the two were doing something. Nobuko was doodling something on a piece of paper, looking quite determined to finish it. While Shinichi was reading a book on how to count 100, the book was intended for 5 year olds, but Shinichi seemed to understand more than the average 5 year old. That was also before Shinichi got his glasses, so he's holding the book rather close to his face.
‘From what Shota said, he's doing fine….’
The last one was of a little girl. She was smiling from ear to ear, showing off her straight teeth. Her bright violet hues was just filled with so much life radiating off it. The girl's long black hair was neatly brushed, with a small braid on one side. Compared to the other pictures, this picture was smaller than the other two. As it only showed the girl's face. The picture it self was so small that the picture frame was slightly bigger and had gaps in it.
‘....’
If you looked close enough, you'd see that her pupils weren't looking at the camera, but instead slightly to her left.
Hizuki placed her unoccupied hand to pinch the bridge of her nose. She, for the life of her, couldn't understand why this was bothering her so much.
‘Her chance to be like other kids and be happy was taken away from her, I'm not going to let it be taken again….’
-
Yuri ended up arriving at the park early, arriving at 2:48. Yuri scanned the whole park, but saw that Izuku has not arrived yet.

‘Of course he isn't, I got here too early, guess I could just wait.’

The violet eyed teen fixed her dress shirt and jeans before sitting on a nearby bench. It's been a long time since she's spent time at a park, she tried to remember what she used to do at those times.

‘All I really remember is running around and climbing trees. I'm guessing that's considered childish to do that when you're a teenager.’

Yuri just sat there, silently counting the minutes until 3 o’clock strikes. This resulted in a rather creepy position. With Yuri sitting straight, looking off into space, not breaking her gaze unless she had to blink.
A few people who walked passed her found it kind of unsettling, but didn't really bother her about it. Since she wasn't doing anything to anyone.
“Aizawa-san! I'm glad you came!”
With the use of her name and the ever familiar voice, Yuri twisted her head and saw Izuku waving and lightly jogging towards her.
He was wearing a light blue, short sleeved hoodie, khaki shorts, and huge red sneakers. His hair was also still slightly wet. (Probably due to him taking a shower right before going here.)
Yuri felt that foreign feeling again, but chose to ignore it and respond. “I'm glad to be here, thank you for inviting me….” She outstretched her hand towards the other teen. Slightly confusing him.
Hesitantly, Izuku returned her gesture and shook her hand.
“So…. what do we do?”
“P-Pardon?”
Yuri scratched the back of her head. “I don't exactly know what you're supposed to do at a hangout. So I was sort of hoping you would tell me.”
Izuku couldn't help but blush a little. “W-well, we don't necessarily follow a specific routine. We can go anywhere as long as we have fun and get to know each other.” explained Izuku. “Though, I'm probably not the best person you should ask for this.”
“Oh…. Okay I think I got it. Well, since you were the one who initiated it. Where do you want to go….?”
“Hm, how about a restaurant? I know this one place where the food is really good!” Izuku pointed to where there were multiple shops and restaurants.
“Oh…. a restaurant. That sounds very nice, kind of feel bad now for bringing my own drink.” Yuri pulled out her thermos from her bag.
“It was sort of my fault for not really planning that far ahead.” Izuku apologized.
“Well, if you say the food’s good, I guess I could try.” Yuri took Izuku’s hand in her own and moving closer to his side. Resulting in Izuku stiffening up immediately and blushing a deep red.
“W-w-w-wait, I mean, don't you think--not that I'm really complaining--what am I saying, of course I'm complaining--just! Personal space please?” Izuku said through stammering. He's never had a girl this close to him.
“Hm….?” Yuri took a moment to find out what was bothering her now bumbling friend. She then found it out, causing her to unlatch herself from Izuku immediately. “Oh, sorry. I take it you're not comfortable with physical contact? I didn't know.” She twiddled her fingers a little, kind of embarrassed.
‘Oh god, not even four minutes and I've already made him uncomfortable….’
Izuku calmed down a bit, and tried to reassure Yuri.
“Oh, it’s fine. Just…. warn me next time okay? Be warned, I'll still be freaking out either way. So be aware of that.”
Yuri stared at him before chuckling a little. “So, should we go….?”
Jolting a little, Izuku started to walk towards the direction of the restaurants. “Yeah, let’s go!”
-
“Hold on, you never had katsudon before?” Izuku asked, looking up from his menu.
“Nope, my mother can't eat pork so we never had that.” Yuri's face was completely hidden by the menu, as she doesn't really know what the dishes are. “I mean, I have no problem with pork. I just never really had any dishes with them. Is it good?”
“Oh yeah, especially the one my mom makes. They're delicious! You should try it sometime!” The curly haired teen setted his menu down, having his order ready.
“Well, I might go for that. Alright then, I'll also have katsudon.” Yuri also setted her menu down, right before bringing out her thermos to have a sip of coffee.
“Do you always bring that thermos with you?”
“Yeah, I bring it in case I need a sip of some coffee. Always helps every time.” Yuri preceded to take a long sip of coffee, it was still fairly hot.
“I'm guessing to keep you awake?” Izuku mused, taking a sip of the glass of water given to him.
Yuri chuckled. “Well yeah, and I just generally really like the taste of coffee. I know it's sort of unhealthy to drink this on a daily basis, but I make up for it.”
Izuku thought his words carefully. “Actually, I've been meaning to ask. How were you so tired yesterday? You would have to be very exhausted to begin with to faint by just talking.” His eyes showed concern towards the raven haired.
“Hm…? Oh, yeah, about that. I just….” Despite it being something she goes through every day, Yuri just finds it very uncomfortable to talk about her sleeping schedule.
“You…. don't get enough hours of sleep?” guessed Izuku.“Uh, no, not exactly…. I just don’t.... sleep normally like other people…” Yuri’s fingertips began to anxiously tap her thermos. “I mean I’m a.... Oh, what does Uncle Hizashi call that…. ‘Night Owl’ I think? I’m pretty sure I heard my Uncle Hizashi call me that quite a few times.”Izuku placed his hand on his chin. “A ‘Night Owl’? You mean you stay awake later in the night before going to sleep? We met very early in the morning!” Izuku started to become more worried, add the little coffee addiction and his new friend could be in serious danger when it comes to her health. Looking at Yuri’s dark circles was now a little more harder for Izuku.“Well, I actually stay awake throughout the whole night, it isn’t until around 10 o'clock in the morning do I really go to sleep. It’s been like that for as long as I can fully remember. And I’ve been physically fine.”“Still! Haven’t you had problems with school with this kind of sleep schedule?”“School? Well, with my sleeping schedule, my parents thought it would be better if I was homeschooled. So, I’ve never actually went to a school before.” Yuri said in a slightly quieter voice. “But I’m going to attend U.A. next year, so I’m definitely going to have to work on my sleeping to prepare for that.”“Speaking of attending U.A.”“Yes? What of it?” asked Yuri, resting her head on her hand that was bended on the table.“You look my age, how come you’re not attending U.A.?”“Um… can’t really answer that myself. My dad said I passed the exam, but I think it has something to do with the fact I’m still 14. Guess I’m still too young to attend U.A. until nex-”“W-Wait a minute! You’re 14!?” Izuku almost spitted out his water to know this mature looking girl is likely 1 or even 2 years younger than him. Despite him looking younger than Yuri. With the sudden action, Yuri immediately jumped in her seat. “Uh… yeah? I turn 15 in December, why are you acting so surprised?”“It’s just that, that means you’re younger than me! Don’t get offended, but you look pretty mature for 14 year old! And I mean that in a complimenting way! I have nothing against older-looking women. Not saying you look that old, I’m just saying you look like someone who could be a second year. If you’re sensitive towards this then I am so sorry.” Izuku took a moment to take in a breath.“Midoriya-san, we really need to work on your sometimes really not needed apologies. Also, I’m not offended. I guess with the stuff I do, my body does mature a little faster. But yeah, don’t worry, I’m not offended.” Yuri shrugged, allowing a sort of reassuring smile appear on her lips.“So, continuing on the topic, you’re too young to attend U.A.? I’m sorry if you were looking forward to going there.” Izuku awkwardly used the given napkins to wipe off the water he spat out. Thankfully, there weren’t many people around at this time. So Izuku was very fortunately spared from that embarrassment.“Eh, I admit I was kind of disappointed at the news. But as long as I get to attend U.A., I don’t really care if I have to wait another year.”“Think you’ll get Mr. Aizawa as your homeroom teacher? I’ll warn you, knowing from personal experience, I don’t think he’ll go easy on you just because he’s your dad.” Izuku attempted to make a joke as he threw away his napkins.Sensing that the statement was just for comedic purposes and not at all insulting to her dad, Yuri almost couldn’t help but very slightly smirk. “Pft, trust me, he’s been training me ever since I was a kid. I know he’s not someone who will go easy on you just because of relations. But we both know he means well.”“Yeah, I guess.”“Okay, so far, all we’ve talked about is me. Why don’t you tell me something about yourself? I’d really like to know.”“Oh! Uh… that depends, what do you already know? I don’t want to tell you something you already know. Since, I’m sure you told me you read my file before.”Yuri opened her eyes slightly more wider, but then remembered what he’s referring to.“Hm…? Oh yeah. It’s not much since it’s from your file. But, obviously I know your name is Midoriya Izuku. You are currently 15 years old until around July I believe. You didn’t gain any villain points during the practical part of the entrance exam. You are Student No. 18 according to the paper… let’s see…”‘You call that ‘not much’?!’ Izuku thought, kind of baffled. ‘Jeez, I didn’t even know there was numbering to the students…’“Oh yeah, and from direct words from my dad: ‘Is completely careless when using his quirk and breaks any part of his body every time he uses it’. I don’t know if that is true, but I’m going off from my dad’s words. If it is, then… I should really recommend you to be looked at by a doctor...”Yuri, despite kind of knowing Izuku’s squirmish behavior when in physical contact, decided to rub the back of his right hand. Knowing from her father that he’s really damaged that hand (his arm in that matter) more than once before.Izuku’s face instantly turned hot and red from Yuri. “I mean… well, I’m trying to be more… careful with it… so my body won’t get that injured…” Izuku tried to think of something to say to distract himself. “Hehe, only a week of school, and I think Recovery Girl has already gotten sick of taking care of my injuries.”“Well, I guess she’s only used to taking care of the same students once in awhile with simple bruise and blemishes. Not every few days with a whole broken arm.” Yuri pulled her hand away. Much to Izuku’s relief. “Speaking of which. You must have an unbelievably high pain tolerance to still want to use that quirk of yours after the first injury.”“Heh, at U.A., you really need to give it your all! So a few injuries are not gonna stop me from trying. If you can still stand, then you have to keep fighting”“That’s… very admirable. I’ll keep that in mind Midoriya-san. Oh, it seems our food is ready.” Yuri turned her head to the waiter who was holding two bowls of katsudon in front of them.“So, this is katsudon?”Izuku already eagerly grabbed his chopsticks. “Mhm! Trust me, it’s really good!”Yuri slowly took a portion of food and ate.‘Hm, it is really good!’Without a second thought, she took another bigger portion and happily ate it.Izuku chuckled at Yuri. “Judging from your reaction, I’m guessing you like it?”“I guess I do, this is really good!”After about half an hour of eating and just chatting. Yuri payed for the food (despite Izuku’s protests) and they left towards an ice cream parlor Izuku suggested.Yuri doesn’t necessarily like sweets that much, but was willing to try it anyway. Since he’s the one who knows about this place more than her.On the way there, they passed some stores. They were just something you’d usually see in places like this, clothing stores, pharmacies, libraries, etc.Izuku and Yuri took the time to talk with each other as they walked there. Yuri learned how high school is gonna be like. Izuku learned and was surprised on how his teacher is a really big softie when he’s a father.
Yuri gave Izuku some tips on how he should train. And Izuku tried to teach Yuri modern slang (with only about little success).
“Aizawa-san, I should tell you to put a password on your phone.”
Yuri tore her eyes away from her strawberry ice cream that had a cat shaped brownie on top. “Password? Why? And could you tell me how you do that?”
“Wait, you don't even know how to put a password? Hasn't your parents shown you how?” Izuku pushed Yuri's ice cream bowl towards her. “Also, you better eat your ice cream before it melts.”
“‘Melt’?--Oh.”
Yuri finally noticed the ice cream melting and instantly started eating.
“Sorry, kind of got distracted. Anyways, the manual that came with my phone never really talked on passwords.” Yuri took in another spoon of ice cream. “Of course, my phone is sort of an old version. It's been with me for about 3 years already.”
“Still, I’m sure your kind of phone would have an option for a password. If it does, I highly suggest you put one now. Just in case someone were to steal it.”
“Could you show me where you do it? I don't know where you do that.”
“Oh well, it's in the ‘Settings’ app. There you’ll have to find th- wait, your phone doesn't say the title of the app, does it?” said Izuku, remembering what he saw when he had to call Yuri's mom.
Yuri shook her head to confirm his answer.
“How about you just… give it to me?” Yuri obliged and gave him her phone. Almost without hesitation.
Yuri watched as Izuku skimmed through her phone until he found what he was looking for.
“Okay…” Izuku pressed one more option before showing the screen to the raven haired teen. “Now you just need to input your password, and you'll be done.”
Yuri was met with a number pad, something she'd usually see when she's calling someone's number. “What am I supposed to put?”
“Well, any four digit combination as long as you can remember it. Just make sure you don't forget it. Otherwise, you're gonna have a real problem. Take this from someone who's had personal experience.”
“What if someone manages to unlock it?”
“They would have to go through about 10,000 combinations to try and find it. So try to make it something difficult.”
Yuri thought about what password she should have. It was for her own phone so it would have to be something that is easy to remember. But also something people wouldn't automatically think of so they won't unlock it easily.
After about a minute, Yuri finally thought of something and inserted a password.
“Okay… how's this?” Yuri turned her screen back to Izuku for him to check.
“Wait! This is your password, right? Why are you showing me?” Izuku raised his hand in front of the screen so he wouldn't see the password Yuri chose.
“Don't worry, I trust you that you won't open my phone without my permission or if it's an emergency.” Yuri put Izuku’s hand away. “I just need you to see if it is a good password or not.”
Izuku finally looked at the password Yuri chose.
‘0-1-1-1’
“Uh… kind of simple, don't you think that's too easy?”
“Think about it, it’s so simple you wouldn't think it would be the password in the first place.” explained Yuri, sipping the now really melted ice cream from her spoon.
‘Just tastes like cold coffee now that it's all liquid. I don't know if that I should consider that bitter or tasty.’
“Okay, that sounds like good logic, I guess. Why that number though?” Izuku said while taking a bite of his ice cream cone.
“Hm… I don't know actually. For some reason, that combination just keeps repeating in my head when I think of it.”
“Hah… is that like a code for something else you own?”
Yuri shook her head. “No, so far my phone is the only thing I own that has a password.”
“Well, it's a good password. Go for it.” with that, Yuri pressed the ‘enter’ button and her password was set.

‘0-1-1-1, why is that so familiar…?’

‘I must have to have been trying to remember it. What does 0-1-1-1 mean…?’

‘Eh, maybe it's just me…’

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

(A/N)
Sorry for the sudden time skip from this current event to the sports festival. I just made it that both Deku and Yuri get back home and go along on their respective week. I want to list out a few changes I’ve made to this story. Which is the main reason why (Besides just pure laziness) I haven’t updated this story in now 2 months. (I am so sorry)
-Added in a new sibling for Yuri! His name is Masahiro and he’s just a sleepy 6 year old and I may or may not have a partner planned for him already.
-If you couldn’t tell from the sudden update I’ve made to the story. I’ve changed the title, cover, and concept a bit. Now Todoroki isn’t the only guy that Yuri might end up with. His connection to Yuri is still the same, I was actually quite pleased with that part and kept it.
-Now that I’m thinking about it over and over again, I changed Yuri’s ‘inability to understand slang’ to just ‘knows the basic, sort of obvious ones but doesn’t know how to use it that much’. Because people who don’t know even the tiniest bit of slang are just doomed to wander cluelessly through the world XD. That and I feel it make Yuri feel just the tiniest bit more real.
-You’re going to notice something as I write dialogue here for quite a few characters. I refer to every character with their first name. This is because I want just a certain name to refer to all of them as and not constantly switch from “Izuku” on one page to suddenly switch to saying “Kirishma” when he speaks. So if you’re used to referring to some of these characters with their last names, just bear with me and I’ll try my best to describe them so to not confuse you.
-If you look back to the previous chapters, you might notice a few changes to the lines of dialogue. This is because of the sort of massive update to the story, I had to change a few lines to make it match up with this version of the story.~~Izuku and Yuri continued their hangout, going from place to place. Despite being drowsy at times, Yuri really enjoyed it. Her lack of social skills clearly showed as she would quiet her voice and mumble to herself, put in random topics into the conversation, and she would hurl herself towards Izuku if she just feels too crowded by people (which would ultimately result in a red-faced Izuku). Both of the teens had little to no social experience. So even if Izuku did know that wasn’t really normal for someone to do, he wouldn’t know how to change it. But overall, they had a nice time going to the different places.Izuku got to know more about Yuri, like her family, her personal likes, and her aspirations to be a hero. Which were pretty similar to his own. After a few hours of going to different places (and Yuri snapping from consciousness a few times), Izuku and Yuri both decided to head back to their own homes. It was mostly due to Yuri having a curfew and she really didn’t want to make her family worried. Izuku also insisted that Yuri should go back home first (So. They reached the gates of the house around the end of the long line of houses the two were walking bye. While it wasn’t necessarily a huge house, it definitely wasn’t small. It was a modern house that seemed to just have two floors, but the layout of each floor was wide. But one thing Izuku noticed about it is that almost all of the lights were off except for the one room that was the kitchen. If anyone looked at the house at any other angle, they might’ve thought no one was home. “So, this is where you live? I mean, I know it might be enough for a family of six but--” Izuku cut himself off as he heard the door handle jingle. Izuku’s green hues widened as he saw who opened it.The door opened and Izuku was met with to what he presumed to be Yuri’s youngest brother, Masahiro. Who rubbed his eyes as he opened the door.Yuri had mentioned on how Masahiro looked a lot like her father. But Izuku didn’t expect him to have that much of a resemblance to his teacher. His onyx coloured eyes were also half open and were drooping shut, he was also wearing clothes similar to Shota. A black long sleeve shirt with matching pajama pants that sagged just on his feet. Masahiro’s hair even resembled his father, just cut shorter. It appeared to be slightly tousled to his right, giving off the clue that he had just woken up not so long ago. Izuku brought out his hand towards Masahiro. “I’m guessing you’re Masahiro-kun? It’s very nice to meet you, I’m Midoriya Izuku. Your sister here has told me a thing or two about you.”The young boy was either still very sleepy, or he just has a long time to process things as he looked straight at Izuku’s eyes for a solid eight seconds before finally taking his hand to shake it.“It’s...uhm… very nice to meet you too, Midoriya-niisan.” Masahiro said with a small smile on his lips.Masahiro’s eyes darted from Izuku to Yuri to see if they had anything else to say, after receiving no response, he finally goes back to the couch to let his sister walk in and quietly saying, “Mama’s at work, Nobuko-neesan and Shinichi-niisan are almost done at dinner, and Papa is sleeping upstairs.” Yuri smiled, “That’s nice to know. And, what are the two cooking?” Yuri asked.Masahiro shrugged his shoulders. “Something spicy? I smelled some peppers on the counter while they were preparing to cook,” He puffed his pillow a little bit before resting his head back onto it.“Masahiro-kun, stay up for just a few more minutes so you can eat dinner.”“So… Masahiro-kun really got a lot of his looks from your father?” Izuku asked, to which Yuri nodded. “Does he also have a bad sleeping pattern?”“Hm? Well, he’s just really tired all of the time. It’s mostly because my mom is training him to use his Quirk, and it really uses a lot of his energy. Fortunately my mom lets him relax for the rest of the week.” Yuri explains, while rubbing Masahiro’s back. “But even if he’s not tired, he just prefers to be quiet all of the time.”Before Izuku could say something back, he heard some clanking of utensils and maybe a few pots as he heard footsteps approaching the room they were in.“Yuri-neesan! You’re back! I hope you’re hungry, because dinner is almost finish!” Nobuko nearly yelled out as she came out of the kitchen. Actually wearing an apron on, so the ingredients won’t get on her while cooking.‘This is Nobuko-chan!? She almost looks nothing like Aizawa-sensei! Then again, Masahiro-kun doesn’t look much like their mother...’ Izuku thought as Nobuko looked excited to see her sister again after a long day.Nobuko’s onyx eyes quickly caught onto the sight of Izuku standing outside the door. She instantly recognized his hair and freckles as she rushed over to shake his hands with her smaller ones.“You must be Midoriya Izuku! My dad sure likes to talk about you! Are you hungry? Cause if so, I’m sure there’s enough food for everyone!” Nobuko chattered sort of quickly, showing a completely different type of energy than either Yuri or Masahiro. Izuku can clearly feel it in the power that went into her handshake, as he could feel his shoulder being slightly shaken in the process.‘My god, she has a lot of strength for an eight-year old!’Izuku chuckled nervously, sort of afraid on how to respond to Nobuko. “That sounds nice and all, Nobuko-chan. But I think I should be going home now, you enjoy your dinner!”Izuku could have sworn he saw Nobuko’s face slightly drop from sadness, but she was quick to change it back to her usual happy demeanor.“Aw, okay then. I hope we can meet again then.”Shinichi shuffled around “Okay Nobuko-chan, I think it’s time for you to get dinner ready. I need to go wake up dad.” Shinichi said while removing his messy apron onto a hook. “Oh, I will!”Shinichi looked up at Izuku’s direction with slightly half-opened eyes before nodding his head and headed upstairs. Where Izuku presumed his teacher was.‘Not much of a talker, is he?’“I’m guessing that was Masahiro-kun? He’s your twin brother, right?” Izuku asked to Nobuko.Nobuko bouncily nodded at the question. “Mhm! I’m older by just about a minute or so!” she said with a genuine smile and peppy attitude for a simple statement that Izuku can’t help but smile along. All of them said their goodbyes, (excluding Shinichi who was upstairs,) Izuku headed off to his own house. Leaving Masahiro to just nonchalantly say as he propped himself on his pillow, “He seems awfully nice for someone who always breaks their bones.”“Masahiro-kun!” Nobuko scolded as she closed the door.“I’m just saying, I expected someone a lot more… I don’t know… messier?” “Well, sure. But that doesn’t excuse of how rude that was!”“Maybe…” Masahiro shrugged.“Okay, guys, it’s time for dinner. You two go prepare the table, I’ll get the food ready. Also, Nobuko-chan, make sure you don’t give Masahiro dishes that he can’t car-” Yuri instructed as she grabbed a bowl from the dish rack, before it got roughly but somehow gently pulled away from her by Nobuko.“What!? No! You just got back! You must be tired, you go on and rest for a bit on the couch while me and Masahiro get things ready!” Nobuko declared as she carried a now slightly sleepy Masahiro towards the kitchen area.“What-- we’re about to eat, I can stay awake to prepare the-”“This is not up for debate! I’m at least just let us do the preparing. You need the rest!” said Nobuko as she poured food into the bowl she had taken.Yuri just groaned and pulled out a chair by the table. She did really need to rest for a little bit. Especially after the few times she nearly fainted.Yuri could hear some shuffling coming down the stairs. She looked to see Shota and Shinichi coming slowly down the stairs. With Shinichi gripping onto Shota’s arm so neither of them would slip. They seemed to be having their own little conversation as they walked, but they were speaking sort of quietly so only they can hear it. Shota was just wearing his casual attire, but still had bandages around his arms and face. He and Yuri share glances towards each other once he finally makes it down the stairs.“Oh Yuri, you’re back from your hangout. How was it?” Shota asked through the bandages around his mouth as Shinichi pulled out a chair for him.Yuri nodded and put a hand to her chin. “It was good, Midoriya-san showed me this nice place where they sell good coffee ice cream. And then we went to some other great places. Overall, I had a pretty nice time.”“That’s nice to hear. From what I can tell, your mother left for work already?”To that, Masahiro was the one to nod his head as he brought in some plates in his arms. “How are your wounds Papa?” He then asked as he settled the plates on the table.“Hm?” Shota looked down to slightly move his arms a little, and grimaced as he felt the pain shoot through them. “Well, they still hurt. But the doctors say I’ll be better in a few weeks. So you don’t have to worry.”Masahiro let out a small smile towards his father and sat down in his seat. The father and children had their usual dinner, (just with Shinichi feeding both himself and his father,) with no one really talking to each other. Besides the usual comment every now and then. After dinner, Yuri trudged herself up the stairs, and into her room. Where she immediately went to sleep after making contact with the mattress. Not really minding the fact that she didn’t change into her pajamas yet and was still in her outdoor clothing. Or the textbooks that stacked onto her desk that she should be reading for her daily studies. She could just do it when she actually has both physical strength to hold her pen, and mental strength to process the words correctly. She also couldn’t notice that one of her cats, a tabby cat named Airi, had decided to use one of her legs as her own bed. She decided she could get at least a few hours of sleep before that.-Yuri groggily woke up to see it was the middle of the night. She turned to her side to where her alarm clock was. It was a digital alarm clock so Yuri could read what it said even if it was still night. In bright red text it said ‘2:34 AM’“Geez, I slept more than I intended. I must’ve been really tired,” Yuri breathed and stretched her arms over her head until she heard a crack from her back. “Maybe this is a good thing, since I need to be prepared for school next year. I need to stay awake for classes and for the practical tests.”The teen got off her bed and towards her closet. It didn’t really bother Yuri when she fell asleep earlier because she was just too tired to deal with it, but now with energy in her, she became aware of how uncomfortable it is to wear jeans and a dress shirt to bed. She instantly began to removed her clothing to her usual ones. i.e. a simple black shirt and pants to go along with it.After getting her attire together, Yuri walked to her desk and reached out the corner. Where there was a small black box that was filled with a small variety of elastic hair ties and by the edge of it was a yellow comb. Yuri grabbed the comb and a random hair tie, turned on her desk lamp, and fixed her black hair into a simple ponytail. It took some time because Yuri’s hair had become unruly in her sleep and was tousled on the back, yet it surprisingly wasn’t really that tangled, just messy. After a few minutes of straightening her hair the best she could, she finally got her hair under control and tied it. While somehow still covering her right eye like usual. “Putting my hair into a ponytail actually feels quite nice. Maybe I should do it more often…”Yuri closed her box and directed her focus to her textbooks. She studied by focusing on a few chapters each week, learning from it. And then after she’s done her reading for the day, she’ll train for about a few hours or so. Yuri devoted most of herself to her studies and training for a long time, so this kind schedule has basically been routine for her. Yuri picked up her mathematics textbook which was the top book in the stack and opened it to the bookmarked area. She was almost done with the lesson and she just needed to fully remember the formula to complete it. Yuri went into her desk to fish out her notebook she used to write down notes, or in this case, write down formulas that she had problems remembering. This continued on for two hours with her writing down notes in different notebooks until she was finally done with the last book. She put her textbooks off to the side and returned her notebooks back into her desk drawer. Yuri adjusted her hair a bit before checking her alarm clock again.‘4:39 AM’Yuri yawned and rubbed her throat, she was feeling parched after that and went downstairs to make herself some coffee. Not before grabbing her now empty thermos from her bag.She shuffled herself to the kitchen to wash the thermos and started to brew herself some coffee. Yuri looked out the window to see the unsurprisingly empty streets. The coffee machine beeped, signalling it was finished. She took out her personal favourite mug from the one of the cabinets, a bag rounded cat-faced mug that had the ears showing at the rim, and poured the coffee pot into it. Yuri blew on it a few times before taking a long sip. She let out a sigh as gulped it down, there was this taste to freshly brewed coffee that Yuri always enjoyed. After a few more sips, Yuri began to walk around the kitchen and into the living room. Just thinking about whatever came into her head.‘I promised Midoriya-san that I would attend the Sports Festival to watch him, but…’ Yuri could feel a shiver go down her arms as she remembers.‘How am I supposed to go near him without the risk of also bumping into him in the process? They’re in the same class so they’re most likely going to be near each other…’ Yuri did not want to say her thoughts out loud, in fear that someone might listen in. Even if it was still basically the middle of the night for most people.‘I thought I could face him after all this time, but that prediction is clearly wrong after what happened last Friday.’ Yuri took in a few more sips as she thought of how to deal with this.‘I’m sure Midoriya-san will meet up with me privately, and hopefully he won’t be around. But I know I can’t ignore him forever…’ Yuri’s train of thought was interrupted when she felt something familiar rub up on her leg, she looked down to see Airi purring quietly against her leg. She smiled a little before setting her coffee on a nearby table and picked up Airi into her arms. Letting her nuzzle up into her chest.“I should really stop thinking negatively. Right, Airi?” Yuri asked her cat, who had now wanted to go back on the ground. Yuri sighed and let Airi back down and watched her run towards the couch to make herself comfortable there. After picking up her mug again, Yuri sat right next to Airi to appreciate the silence that went throughout the house. It was always generally pretty quiet in the house, but the times where absolutely little to no noise was just so relaxing.“What else happened when I went to U.A.? I spent most of the day in the faculty room, but I’m sure something else happened besides running into him.” Yuri pondered a little bit while petting Airi’s head. “Oh right, there was that guy from general studies, the one who wanted to go to the hero course.” Yuri cocked her head to the side as she tried to remember what he looked like.‘God, why does he seem so familiar? I’m positive I’ve seen him before, but I just can’t recall where or when…’‘Maybe I’m overthinking this. It was just one time. Still doesn’t make me not think he’s pretty cute nonetheless-- wait WHY am I still thinking like that!?’The teen then rubbed her head of hair and tried to think of anything besides that guy. But that thought process was quickly dashed away when she heard the clock on the wall chime. Signalling it was now 5:00 AM. To which Yuri silently thanked for finally distracting her.“I should go wash this mug and then go to training before it turns six o’clock.” Yuri quickly uttered as she got off the couch to wash her mug. With Airi staying on the couch, content in where she was resting. Yuri gave her one last pet to the head before going off. After some cleaning, Yuri put the mug on the dish rack to dry and went to the refrigerator to get her water bottle. After that, she retrieved a spare towel from the bathroom and put on her compression sleeve and headed towards the training room at the back of the house. The room took up about half of the first floor, but Shota and Hizuki needed room so they can train if the school wasn’t really an option and this room was big enough to sustain Hizuki’s methods of fighting and the uses of her Quirk. The interior of the room was sort of damaged on certain edges and corners from a little over a decade of use, but it was still overall sturdy and reliable to use. Yuri put her water bottle and towel down onto a bench that was near the door and began to remove the bandages around her hands.Since it’s been quite a while since she’s used her erasure, her hands were not really dry or as calloused as they were before. But there were still parts of it where the hands were dry and still kind of sensitive for her to touch anything with it. Yuri neatly put the pile unwrapped bandages away so she could use it later. Afterall, she just really needed them so her hands could be protected while they were in a sensitive state. After getting that out of the way, Yuri went to stand in the middle of the room to do a few basic stretches to get herself warmed up. She outstretched her arms in front of her and let her Quirk activate.A black liquid-like substance began to form out of both of her palms, forming into a spike. This was her mother’s Quirk, Dark Matter. The spike kept on growing and caused Yuri to walk backwards as the spike was reaching the wall that was faced in front of Yuri. Once Yuri reached towards the end of the room, she inhaled a few breaths as she prepared herself for her next move. Knowing how much pain she was going to endure. It took some time to focus but suddenly multiple spikes emerged from the sides of the main, pointing in almost every direction. The spikes weren’t that big, but the quantity of the spikes did cause Yuri some immediate consequences.A sudden pain went through Yuri’s chest, but she chose to just ignore it and continue on with slowly making the spikes bigger with her dark matter so her body can get used to it.Yuri continued on with making more spikes for the next ten minutes, doing her best to completely ignore the increasing pain going through her chest. She was using both of her hands to release dark matter, she had nothing to hold on to her chest. Which is what she would instinctively do if she ever goes past her normal limit. Then there was the vague taste of blood she could feel at the back of her throat. It was a taste she has strangely gotten used to due to the past years. Yuri swallowed the blood but knew that it was only going to get worse if she continues to do this. But Yuri looked at her progress, almost all the spikes were reaching at the concrete, sticking in all kinds of directions, up to the point where the matter was actually filling crevices in between the spikes from each other. This was a feat she never really accomplished as her body wasn’t really used to or was prepared to do, but now she had finally got to it. “I… I finally... did it!” Yuri cried between breathes, which was becoming hard as blood began to fill her throat even more. But she still managed a smile in between her scowl. She found that amount of dark matter was more than enough and remained still. Yuri tried to not move, but from the weight of the dark matter, the amount she was letting out, the now very painful pangs going through her body, and her shivering due to the loss of blood from her body, it was very hard to stay still.“Just… need to… stay… still…”Yuri was able to keep her body completely still for about a whole ten minutes, and she was actually feeling her body get used to the pain. “M-Maybe I can…” This was a decision that Yuri always regrets doing in these workouts, but she only ever really does it rarely so she thought maybe she could do it now.Yuri narrowed her eyes almost all the way down before opening them wide to enable her erasure, her bright violet pupils suddenly turning red. The whites in her eyes started to turn bloodshot and dry. Her hair levitated a bit off of her, just enough so the bangs that covered her right eye was cleared up. With this much multitasking, Yuri almost instinctively blinked and stopped her dark matter. And while she didn’t, her dark matter did falter quite a bit.Yuri occasionally blinked from time to time, but didn’t beat herself up about it. Because she knows that not even her dad could keep his eyes open for that long, especially with how painful dry eye can be if you don’t treat it. After a bit more waiting and counting to ten repeatedly to make her head forget the feeling, Yuri felt the pain in her chest starting to subside, little by little. But she was suddenly met by far one of the most painful pangs for her went all throughout her whole body. Causing Yuri to audibly yell considerably loud, squinting her eyes shut and collapsed onto the floor on her knees. Almost instantly, the dark matter retreated back into her body and her hair falling back down. Her now unoccupied hands found their way towards her chest where most of the pain was surging through and held onto it for dear life as she felt her heart beat at least twice as faster. Yuri then began violently coughing the blood out of her throat and onto her sleeve, really hoping none of it ended up on the floor. Yuri couldn’t really comprehend all that she was doing as she felt like her head was spinning at max speed and was being hit on the head repeatedly. After getting the blood out of her system and making sure her heartbeat had calmed down, she smacked her palms against the floor from frustration at the result. “Dang it… I still can’t go that far yet… I thought I could finally do it…” Yuri breathed out, still not entirely recovered from the whole thing. Yuri supported her body onto her hands and pushed herself up back onto her feet. Instantly, she went over to the bench to grab her towel and water bottle. She rubbed her towel against her face to get the sweat off. Yuri then twisted off the cap of the bottle chugged the water kind of fast. Though, she sort of regrets getting cold water as her body was still in the process of forming blood to regulate her body temperature, a cold beverage wasn’t exactly the best thing to drink. But right now, Yuri just really needed a beverage, regardless of the temperature. After finally getting her body steadied and relaxed, she let a smirk grace her lips as she remembered how much dark matter she managed to create before she fully reached her limit.“I may not have reached that milestone yet…” Yuri glanced at her hands to clench them into fists.“But at least I’m close to reaching it… I should work on my body more to get it.” Before Yuri could get back up to start her regular workout, she heard thumping coming from the upstairs and going down to the room she was using.Bursting through the door, Yuri saw Nobuko, armed with what Yuri could barely make out in the dim light as an old fire poker, quickly looking around the room in a fervor of pure panic until it locked onto Yuri’s. “Nobuko-chan, I’m sorry, did I wake you?” Yuri questioned.“Uh, yeah,” Nobuko answered quickly, slowly starting to calm down when she saw that there was no real danger in the house. “your yell even woke up Masahiro-kun. I spent about ten minutes just trying to tuck him back to sleep. Did you work yourself to your limit again?” Yuri sighed and put her wattle bottle and towel beside her.“Yeah, of course I’m going to yell out in pain if I pass my limit. But I’m sorry if I woke anybo--” Yuri attempted to stand up to Nobuko. But before she could get to her full height, Nobuko abruptly flicked Yuri on the forehead with her thumb and forefinger quite hard. This caused Yuri stumble a little back to a sitting position on the bench. Despite it obviously not giving Yuri any pain, it still surprised her. She rubbed the spot and instantly looked quite annoyed at her sister.“Nobuko-chan! What was that for? I already apologised for screaming!”“Two reasons!” Nobuko called out, putting her hands on her hips to try and make her look intimidating (which she was not really succeeding in). “The first one was for pushing yourself so far after not even a week after you had a fever! Second was for not brushing your teeth before going to sleep! That is very unsanitary!”“Oh my god…” Yuri groaned lightly and carried Nobuko by her waist and led her still rambling little sister back to her room so she can go back to sleep.‘I wonder if Midoriya-san is awake at this time…’ Yuri thought randomly as she trudged her sister up the stairs.
~
Yuri and her siblings waited peacefully in the room where their parents told them not to leave unless for valid reasons and if not, acknowledge someone that has their authority. With Yuri being the one with the authority. Nobuko was busy sitting and waiting for the Sports Festival to come onto the television, Shinichi was very focused on a book Yuri had bought for him while she was hanging out with Izuku, and Masahiro was sitting in Nobuko’s lap, also waiting with her for the Sports Festival to come on. “Where did uncle Hizashi take dad to anyway?” Nobuko asked as she rocked Masahiro is her arms.“From what I heard from aunt Nemuri, he’s making dad be his co-commentator for the Sports Festival? Don’t know how and why dad agreed to it, but that’s just what I heard.” Shinichi returned while getting mildly surprised at the vulgar and rash language used in one line.“Ooh! Masahiro-kun! Dad’s going to be a commentator! That’s something I have to see!” Nobuko suddenly became more excited for the program to finally go on. Masahiro thought a little and let a small smile grace his lips and chuckled as he thought of his dad saying things just like Hizashi would.Yuri was sitting in one of the tables while watching her siblings do their own things, but Yuri was wearing something that both of her parents recommended she’d wear if was going to go to the Sports Festival. It was a U.A. gym uniform along with her compression sleeve. One that was just like what all the other students were wearing. Yuri told her parents that she wanted to talk to Izuku while in the Sports Festival. Shota and Hizuki agreed to it if she wore the gym uniform. They explained to her that it was so it wouldn’t raise any major suspicion if Yuri were to go up to Izuku and talk to him. Yuri agreed to it and wore the uniform without question.Yuri looked up at the clock and saw that the festival would be starting soon, she felt that it would be appropriate to let Izuku know that she was now here. She was about to reach into her pocket to get her phone, but then realized that they were in the same building and the room Yuri and the others were staying in wasn’t that far from the waiting room for the students. ‘Midoriya-san is probably too busy already with preparing, but that doesn’t mean I can’t just say hello to him.’Yuri got up from her seat and out the door. Not before giving some stern words to her siblings. “Remember to not leave this room without acknowledging me first, I’ll only be away for a few minutes to greet Midoriya-san.” All her siblings nodded and continued with what they were doing. Giving Yuri the signal to finally leave. She began walking through the halls, looking for the waiting room for Class 1-A. There were quite the number of students walking around too, but they didn’t even seem to do so much as bat an eye at Yuri’s presence due to her uniform. They must’ve all just assumed she was just in a different class. Finally, she reached the waiting room for 1-A. But was slightly surprised to see a tall young man with dark blue and glasses suddenly open the door and shout into the room.“Everyone, are you ready? We will be entering soon!” The young man shouted to get everyone’s attention.‘Oh, right. Iida Tenya…’ Yuri thought as she stood around him, which somehow didn’t get his attention.Yuri looked around Tenya’s shoulder to see Izuku taking in a deep breath. She slightly smiled and was about to wave at him to get his attention.“Midoriya.” An unfortunately very familiar voice said Izuku’s name. Yuri’s eyes widened when she saw a certain boy come into her view. Almost instantly she put her hand back down to her side and run away before he could see her, but stopped herself the moment she got her senses back.‘NO. I am not going to run away again.’ Yet despite her self encouragement, that didn’t stop herself from visibly shuddering when she looked at the boy’s red and white hair. Even though she was completely fine when she’s seen it before in pictures her dad would show her, looking at it with her own two eyes were a lot different for Yuri. “Todoroki-kun? What is it?” Izuku asked with a polite yet nervous tone to his voice.“Looking at this objectively, I think I’m stronger than you.” Shoto stated bluntly, the curt message yet calm tone made Izuku’s eyes widen themselves.Izuku looked down and awkwardly replied. “Uh… y-yeah…” He had hoped this conversation was over, but Shoto chose to continue.“But… All Might has his eye on you, doesn’t he? I’m not trying to pry about that. But I’m going to beat you.” Shoto said smoothly, with no hesitation whatsoever. Yuri has seen Izuku shocked before, despite her not knowing him very long. But this expression Izuku was making, actually looked legitimately scared. But Yuri just felt confused and curious.‘What is he talking about…?’“Oh? Is the best in the class making a declaration of war?” Another student, Kaminari Denki, asked in a sort of playful manner. Though, Yuri couldn’t really find a reason to be playful in this moment.Eijiro was quick to jump in and try to defuse the oncoming hostility. “Hey, hey, hey! Why are you picking a fight all of a sudden?” Eijiro demanded, putting a hand on Shoto’s shoulder. “Not now, we’re about to start!” Eijiro’s hand was quickly and harshly shrugged off by Shoto’s arm. Causing Eijiro to step back.“We’re not here to play at being friends. So what does it matter?” Shoto nonchalantly said as he started to head towards the door. Causing Yuri to hide beside the wall once she barely missed locking eyes on him.Yuri considered going back since her siblings were probably getting worried as she was definitely taking more than, and because she was becoming more panicked that Shoto was getting closer to the door as she heard his footsteps. But Yuri kept in her place when she suddenly heard Izuku speak up.“Todoroki-kun,” She let out a sort of sigh of relief when she heard the footsteps halt. “I don’t know what you’re thinking when you say you’ll beat me,” Yuri took her chances and took a peek in the doorway. Fortunately for her, Shoto seemed to have switched his gaze back to Izuku, who had his gaze facing towards the floor. “but of course you’re better than me. I think you’re more capable than most people… Looking at it objectively...” Izuku stated humbly.Eijiro, not really liking that Izuku was sort of degrading himself, tried to stop his friend from continuing his speech. “Hey, Midoriya, you probably shouldn’t talk so negatively…” he attempts to be civil but Yuri could tell he was really just trying to defuse this conversation in case Shoto might have something to retort back with. Izuku lifted his gaze a little, but it was enough to catch onto Yuri’s. ‘She… she’s here!?’ Izuku brushed off his thought immediately to continue. But still managing to keep his gaze locked her’s. “But, everyone-- The students from the other courses are aiming for the top with everything they’ve got!” Yuri looked to spot Izuku’s visible worry on his expression with his fists clenched at each side. His scared expression when Shoto accused of his ‘connection’ with All Might, whatever that was about, had slowly went back to his face.“I can’t afford to fall behind.” Izuku took a deep breath and finally had the strength to fully look into Shoto’s eyes without backing down. Oh, how Yuri wished she also had the strength to do that too. Almost fearlessly, Izuku stated, “I’ll be going for it with everything I have, too.”Yuri couldn’t help but feel joy in Izuku’s words. But she was quick to react when she heard footsteps approaching the door, heading for the corner of a nearby hallway. But this time, Tenya caught her this time. Which made Yuri question how he didn’t notice her beforehand. Yuri silently thanked her parents as Tenya merely thought she was a fellow student who was not with the right class.“You there! I would highly suggest you join your classmates! It is almost time for the ceremony to begin!” Tenya elucidated, doing his hand gestures like he would usually do. Yuri quietly nodded simply at the over-the-top display. “I’ll do that…”Yuri decided to just greet him later as there wasn’t that much time left. But it seemed Izuku wanted to test time by running up to Yuri waving his hand. Normally, in a normal and average environment Yuri would calmly yet still somehow enthusiastically wave back at him. But this was very far from normal. And she realized that having to wear the gym uniform wouldn’t make suspicion go down when she heard what Izuku was about to say.“Hey! Aiza--MMF!?” Before Izuku could get the last syllable of her family name out, Yuri rushed to roughly cover his mouth from making any noise and tug him along to the corner. Once they were in a more isolated area, Yuri finally removed her hands from his mouth and back to her sides.“Ugh, wh-what was that for!?” Izuku questioned as he distressingly rubbed his mouth where Yuri’s rough bandages were just a moment ago.‘Seriously, why does she wear bandages anyway…?’“Okay, I’m sorry I didn’t inform this to you earlier, but you can call me ‘Aizawa’ when we’re out in just the general public. But you can’t really call me that when there are a bunch of students here who know of my dad mostly by his last name.” Yuri explained as best as she could.Izuku immediately understood her reasonings and went to bent his body forward to apologise, but Yuri grabbed his shoulders to push him back up. “Please don’t apologise, I’m just explaining to you something you wouldn’t have really known.”“Ah, okay then…” Izuku stood there stiff, waiting for Yuri to make a move. Unfortunately, Yuri was doing the exact same thing“...”“...”Izuku thought for a moment for something to do as the two of them just stood there. He awkwardly added in. “Well, hi… Aizawa-san?” He tested to see if it was okay now to call her that. And even raised his arms just in case Yuri might lunge at him again. Thankfully, Yuri relievingly smiled and returned with a “Hello to you too, Midoriya-san... ” At the calm and peaceful response, Izuku let down his hands and let out a sigh/laugh of relief.Yuri thought over that if she was going to talk Izuku even in the view of other people, he would have to call her something else than the one he usually calls her. “You know Midoriya-san…” Yuri drew out to catch Izuku’s attention. He looked up, signalling Yuri to continue with what she was going to say.“So as to not inconvenience you if we are going to talk again during today, you can call me ‘Yuri’ if you want.”“...eh…?” Izuku asked quickly and quietly, making sure he heard that correctly. Yuri blinked at his weird reply and just repeated herself.“Yuri, I said you can call me Yuri if you want.”“...”“...”“Wait, are you serious!? Isn’t that a little too personal for me to call you that?” Izuku waved his hands in front of Yuri’s slightly amused face. “I’m still okay with calling you Aizawa. But if you mean to call you Yuri when we’re in front of people then I guess that makes sense why you would want to be called by your first name… ” He muttered on.Yuri shook her head with a sigh like she would do if her siblings would do something that was stupid even for them. “No. Midoriya-san, I’m saying you can call me ‘Yuri’ from now on. It’s okay by me since most of my life, people have referred to me as Yuri,” She looked at Izuku to smile. “And if I’m being completely honest with you, I’m not really used to being called ‘Aizawa’. That’s usually being said to my dad.”‘Well, since she’s asking me to call her that, I guess I can’t really argue with that…”“If you say so, I’ll do it, …“ Izuku paused for a moment as if to let anticipation build in Yuri, but was just making sure he would get her name correctly. “Yuri-chan.”Yuri blushed a little. Despite just saying she was more comfortable with being called by her first name, it was a little unusual to hear it from Izuku’s voice since he’s been calling her ‘Aizawa’ ever since they first met at the park.
Unbeknownst to both of them, there was someone silently listening to their conversation. He admitted it was beyond levels of creepy, but Shoto just couldn’t help but overhear. He bit his lip but turned away like before.Shoto saw Izuku in the corner of his eye, coming out of the hallway to catch up with his classmates. He had a cheerful smile on his face and a bit of red sprinkled his cheeks as he made it to the front of his class.“So he can call you ‘Yuri’?”

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Yuri stayed in the now empty hallway for just a moment longer to take in the way Izuku said her name.

Her

first

name.

It felt ridiculous to feel that way and she new that. But she couldn’t help but slightly blush as she looked down to the ground and let a smil—

She quickly shook her head to gain some sense back.

‘No, this is inappropriate. He was just saying my first name, he was just being a good friend.’

And with that, she walked off. Though her blush didn’t really go away that much. She was on her way back to the room where her siblings were, but was kind of taken by surprise when she heard a sudden ruckus coming from where the Sports Festival is being held. And she was hearing… yelling? “What are they yelling about? The festival has just begun.” Yuri asked while walking back to the room. Despite being quite far from the center by now, she could hear the people’s screams pretty clearly. And if she listened to it more intently, she could see that they were NOT cheering. Yuri covered her mouth with her hand and let out a rather big yawn. She didn’t even realize how tired she was until now. But now that she knew, Yuri needed some coffee. She reached the door to find all of her siblings completely enthralled by the television. Yuri looked on the screen to see the students starting to pile up for the race. She wouldn’t bother trying to find Izuku in the crowd. From what she knows about him, she’s sure that he’ll find a way to grab everyone’s attention.

All her siblings turned to the sound of the door opening. All of them were thankful to see that it Yuri who entered the room and that she seemed fine. But they did notice her cheeks were more flushed than when she left them.

“Uh, Yuri-neesan? Do you a fever?” Shinichi asked, worried that Yuri might’ve gotten

another

fever after getting one just a week ago. “Your cheeks are all red.” He pointed to his cheeks to emphasize his statement.

Yuri blinked a few times before touching her cheeks to find out that they were a lot warmer than she thought they actually were.

“Oh, it’s not anything like a fever, I promise.” Yuri looked to the corner of her eye to think on how to explain this to them. She seemed to come up with the best reason. At least, she hoped that’s what caused it.

“I… was talking to Midoriya-san and a certain personal subject came up so I was a little embarrassed.”

All of them seemed to believe her, and turned their attention back to the television.

“So we’re all hoping that Midoriya-niisan will get first place, right?” Shinichi asked as he tried his best to spot Izuku in the large crowd. And was quite surprised to see just how many students there are in the first years.

“I mean, he’s the only person we know from these students.” Nobuko replied as she anxiously waited for the race to start already. “I remember most of the other students but we’ve never met them. Besides, Midoriya-niisan’s really nice and is training really hard from what Yuri-neesan is saying.”

Masahiro sat up from Nobuko’s lap to see Yuri walk over to take a seat just behind them. He was about to tell her that it was more than a few minutes until she returned and that he was starting to get worried but was interrupted by Midnight.

“Start!”

All of their attention was taken by the sounds of the students pushing and yelling at each other. Shinichi groaned at the students moving from their original spots as he was so close to finding Izuku.

“Ugh, I thought I saw him! If only I had just a few more seconds!” Shinichi huffed and sat back down away from the television and just continued to watch it from his seat and not directly in front of it.

“Don’t worry, I’m sure Midoriya-san will get your attention.” Yuri sat right behind her siblings and observed as the students tried to get to first place.

While the others were making their own comments, Masahiro looked closely to one spot that seemed interesting to him and even started to get closer to the screen.

"There's this one person with odd-looking hair that's just standing there."

Yuri narrowed her eyes at the description Masahiro gave. "Masahiro-kun, you know it's rude to call people that."

Masahiro returned to his position, shrugged his shoulders and pointed on the screen.

"What else would I call someone with both white and red hair?"

"At least use a word less ru-- wait, wha--?" Yuri stopped her lecture abruptly at her brother's words and quickly looked back at the screen.

Shinichi recognised the guy of Masahiro's description and decided to join the conversation. "Oh, you mean Todoroki Shoto? He's one of dad's best students so far, how can he be standing still?"

Nobuko looked for the guy they were describing. "Wait, he's raising his hand I think. Wait, what was his Quirk again?"

Yuri could feel herself start panicking at the statement. And before she knew it,

The screen that was focused on the students at front suddenly had ice encased around their lower (and some even on their upper) bodies.

Shortly after, Shoto emerged from the crowd and began running. Not even really sparing a glance to the students he's practically immobilised.

The younger three were screaming out their opinions on such a feat.

Nobuko was at a loss for words, even covering her mouth out of shock.

Shinichi felt extremely sorry for the frozen students and almost covered his face out of sympathy.

And Masahiro just continued to watch the race as it just got a lot more interesting.

But Yuri… just tried to focus her attention on pretty much anything that was not near Shoto. That scared-stiff feeling suddenly came back when Yuri saw his indifferent expression as the camera focused on him.

Luckily, her terrified look wasn't noticed by her siblings since she was at the back of them and the race was thankfully taking all of their attention. Yuri took deep breaths and resumed watching to see and find Izuku on the screen.‘Why is he only using half of his Quirk though…--’ “I found him!” Nobuko straight up jumped from her sitting position while still holding Masahiro with him being suspended by her hands that were in between the pit of his arms. “Look, he’s sort of struggling to walk on the ice there!”All three of them looked to where she was pointing and saw poor Izuku shuffling along the ice, trying his very best not to slip on it (with at least moderate success). Like before, the siblings seem to be split on three different reactions. Nobuko was cheering and jumping up and down at the screen for Izuku to make it, while still having Masahiro in her arms.Yuri and Shinichi were pondering on how Izuku is supposed to get ahead with that kind of start.Masahiro, after dropping out of his sister’s over energetic grasp, focused his attention on Izuku and what he was doing. His eyes instantly widened when he found something else that caught his attention. Yuri noticed her brother’s surprised look and waves her hand in front of his eyes to snap him out of it.“Something wrong Masahiro-kun?” Yuri asked while lifting him into her lap so he could lay back. Masahiro flinched at her hand but his shocked expression turned back to his tired look as he pointed to what he was looking at.“Uh… it’s just… someone is being carried by other students… “ Masahiro rubbed his eyes a little to make sure he was seeing that correctly. Yuri blinked in utter confusion at the claim Masahiro is making but follows his gaze to be met with exactly what her brother just described. A student was indeed being carried through the ice by some students, at least 3 from what the camera would give them. While her siblings shifted their focus back to Izuku to see how he’s doing, Yuri couldn’t miss the wild indigo hair on the student being carried. It was the same boy she saw at school who made a claim to 1-A. Despite the camera not giving the best view of him, from what Yuri saw, he was giving off a tired, maybe bored, expression as he just sat still. Yuri rubs her hair as she tries to figure out why this boy reminds her of someone so badly. ‘That’s it, once there is a break I need to find out who that guy is…’ Yuri let go of her hair and rested it on Masahiro’s shoulder to continue watching the race in peace. ‘ I’m supposed to be focusing on Midoriya-san anyway, I shouldn’t focus on other people I either haven’t talked to before or haven’t for a long time.’Masahiro looks back towards Yuri as her often rare thinking face is present to him. He slightly scratches his head.

‘Why is Yuri-neesan acting different this past week?’

Nobuko whined when the camera focused more on the people in the lead instead of Izuku whom they only show small clips of. “Ya! It’s not Midoriya-niisan fault he can’t be flashy like the people in the front! That’s not fair!” She waved her arms in the air in front of her less energetic siblings who silently agreed with her.

Shinichi nodded while silently waiting for Izuku to come back on screen. “I hope Midoriya-niisan has a way to make it in front, otherwise we’ll never see…” Shinichi’s voice slowly drifts off when he sees what comes up on the screen. “Why is there a robot!?”

“

A

robot!? There’s at least three of them!” Nobuko yelled as the camera now focuses on the giant robots, which look enormous compared to the students.

“Where did they even get that?” Nobuko grew more worried when she saw just how big those robots are.

“They’re bots the school uses for tests like the Entrance Exams. Don’t worry, the school wouldn’t use these robots if they were

that

dangerous to the students.” Yuri explains to her siblings who have oddly visited the school only two times ever since their father got employed there.

Yuri continues watching with great interest as she waited to see how the students, let alone Izuku, manage to get through the robots.

Although, her hopes of seeing what Izuku can do are taken away when she sees that someone has

She’s not surprised at all to see another student of her father’s, Katsuki Bakugo, use his Quirk to his fullest and start destroying the robots once it gets in his sights. And from what Izuku had told her, Yuri didn’t have to hear him to know that he’s yelling out profanities at the top of his lungs.

‘I’m still wondering how Midoriya-san tolerated him for a decade…’

Yuri thought with a furrowed brow while looking at the other students who managed to get through the ice attack by Shoto.

Nobuko looked over and mistook her sister’s thinking face for a doubtful one. “Hey, if Midoriya-niisan managed to pass the entrance exams, then he can definitely do it again!”

Yuri widened her eyes at Nobuko’s words of encouragement. She smiled for about a second until she realized something.

‘Oh, yeah, Nobuko doesn’t know Midoriya-san broke his leg ARM arm just destroying one of the robots…’

Yuri was tempted to tell Nobuko that, but decided it would be too cruel to destroy her siblings’ hopes for Izuku. And just hopes herself that Izuku won’t do something as reckless as fire off his Quirk on the

first

obstacle.

‘And there are two more obstacles after this… Midoriya-san, please be rational on how you’re going to do this…’

~

Hizuki smiles behind her mask as she observes all the students using their Quirks to their fullest.

There was one student however who peaked her interest.

Todoroki Shoto

After seeing his two stunts, it was clear he wasn’t going to use his left side.

‘Not using the left side... I don’t think I need to figure out why that is…’

Hizuki thought bitterly, casting a glance off to the side. Her mask reacting and copying her pupils' movement.

She stood up to walk to a different part of the stadium to see from another view. Hizuki made sure before that her hero costume was complete and that her full face mask was put on securely around her face with a low chance that it would fall off.

She began walking through the hallways, thankfully only bumping into staff members who just seemed slightly shocked by her appearance.

She wasn’t that concerned about bumping into any students since they should still all be in the race.

But, oh, would she have an awkward encounter with a random student over the person who turned the corner…

She didn’t stop her pace to look at them, simply because it didn’t take long for her to know who it was.

What, with his height, aura and literal

heat

radiating off of him. How could Hizuki not?

‘The Flame Hero: Endeavor’

But that realization didn’t stop her as she just simply walked by him with little to no dialogue or even interaction.

Hizuki didn’t mind at all.

But of course the other person couldn’t help but speak out. Which was ironic, considering how he normally is.

“...Night Terror…” he said in his normal gruff and low voice.

“...”

She didn’t even spare a glance.

“...Endeavor…” Hizuki’s voice came out toned down and slightly distorted due to her mask. A big contrast to how she actually sounded like.

And with that, she had already turned the corner to her destination.
