Cas walks towards the world map table where Michael Dean is currently chained to a pole, almost inches away from him. Michael gives a glare towards cas. "so, Castiel huh, I can read deans mind you know, all his, truma, likes, dislikes, favorite food, even you" Cas gives a glare back to him. "You know I'm not gonna believe a single damn word you say, Dean's strong-" "Dean is vulnerable" he cuts cas off and continues "Castiel do you really think you can keep sacrificing yourself like this to a world that doesn't love you back huh? You constantly sacrificing yourself for the Winchester's and what do you think you get in return"
Michael laughs and wiggles in his seat a bit from being uncomfortable.
"Do you want to know what he thinks of you Castiel, you're important to him, well, for awhile you were, but then, his vulnerability got in the way, he fell for you just like you fell for him"
Cas tenses up a bit, the look in his eyes tells it all, he didn't want to hear deans confession, not out of Michael's mouth. He loved Dean, romantic stylez, and he wants to tell him, but he can't, not when Dean is still trapped and drowning in his own head.
He can't be truly happy with Dean anyways, he know what will happen....even if he did believe him for a second. He doesn't need to get his emotions involved...not know.
"tell me something pumpkin- Michael continues, what makes you love this world so much, that you wanna sacrifice yourself for it huh? What's the point in that? These dumb little humans don't deserve us, I hope you know that" cas sits up in his head to stare at michael right in the eyes "you tell me, something, what makes you hate this world so much that you wanna burn it to the ground?"
"Because I can, because when I'm done, there will be no humans, including Winchester's"
*A couple hours later*
Michael continues to get in cas head some more.
"So cassy-" Michael smirks seemingly enjoying this. "Don't call me that" cas snaps back at him "Sorry that is just what Dean puts you as his contact, cute little Nickname for his favorite angel, I wouldn't get so worked up almost in tears for reading his thoughts, it's like a personal diary, so many cute moments of you guys, so many unspoken words, I'm surprised you didn't run in for the kiss yet, knowing that you're running out of time"
*Running out of time, what does he mean* a tear runs down cas face, it could mean nothing, but what if he knows
Michael smirks in amusement. Cas gets up and walks away trying to control his emotions.
"I'm in his head Castiel, and I know just how much he loves you, if only you knew how much he truly cares for you but you just won't listen to me, because he's scared, and you're scared but you know what don't believe me! He will always love you"
cas stops in his tracks, hearing the word love shocked him, it's something he never had, love, he almost believed Michael and wanted to know more of Dean's feelings about him. But this isn't about him...it's about saving Dean.
Castiel sighs and walks out the room.
