Ruby beats up a bunch of Grimm using her cool weapon and wowing audiences everywhere.Weiss beats up a giant knight dude and fans wonder if the giant knight gave her the scar.Blake and Adam do a train robbery but Blake dips when she finds that the murdering terrorist group that she’s a part of wants to be a murdering terrorist group.Yang squeezes a dude’s balls for information and blows up an entire bar. She would then do this a few years later and breaks the neck of one of gaming’s best girls Man of Steel style.

Ruby Rose is a plucky young girl who joins Beacon Adacemy two years in advance after she thwarted a robbery. There, during a lengthy initiation, she forms Team RWBY. However, her partner, Weiss, is little upset that Ruby’s the leader, but after some teachers talk to them, Weiss and Ruby become a little more acquainted with each other.Meanwhile, another kid, Jaune Arc, landed himself a pro athlete as his partner, who even offers to train him. However, he refuses but after a lengthy bully arc, he relents. Also, one of Ruby’s teammates, Blake, is a catgirl.

Weiss gets trapped by a nightmare monster that makes her address her racism during final two episodes of Volume 1. Her friends try to bust her out but fail a few times, before realizing they need Jaune to accompany them.Blake decides to cosplay as her abusive boyfriend to put the fear of God in Weiss. This works and they defeat the nightmare monster that trapped Weiss. With the day saved, the crew silently return to the events of Volume 2 where they pretend these crazy adventures in the head of their friend never happened ever.Big Nicholas.

After thwarting yet another dust robbery, RWBY realize something big’s going on and they go off to investigate. It’s here that Ruby discovers her friend, Penny, is a robot. After failing to apprehend a master thief, Blake gets very antsy to the point where Yang, Ruby’s sister, calms her down with her story about wanting to find her mom.After prom, RWBY decide to go off to a dangerous mountain (with the Headmaster’s blessing) and end up unearthing yet another scheme that they quickly thwart. However, it is merely just a setback for a villain’s dark scheme.

The Vytal Tournament commences as RWBY blazes through the rounds. Meanwhile, Ruby’s drunk uncle picks a fight with Weiss’s sister because her boss sold his boss out. Turns out that he and some others are part of an Illuminati that safeguards the world’s secrets and plans on giving one of them to Pyrrha.She doesn’t take the news well and, with the “help” of one of the villain’s lackeys, kills Penny, causing monsters to attack the academy. Long story short, Roman, the thief, gets eaten, Yang loses an arm, and Pyrrha dies. Team RWBY splits apart after.

Yang has PTSD that her father and friends beat out of her with jokes and comparing it to a fear of mice.Blake goes back to her home with a friend but ends up unearthing a conspiracy involving salty furries.Weiss tells off a bitch and gets cut off from her inheritance, causing her to run away.Ruby goes off with Pyrrha’s friends, but they keep coming across dead end after dead end. After Qrow saves them from a scorpion, he's poisoned. They go to an abandoned town where they murdered a centaur-like creature and head off to Mistral.

Ruby beats up a bunch of Grimm again, but this time in glorious Maya.RoosterTeeth decides to create three more character shorts because hype.Weiss tries to beat up a bunch of Grimm in glorious Maya, but fails.Blake listens to someone’s Batman origin story while trying to bust some dude but fails. Teeth got broken.Yang beats up a bear.RoosterTeeth realizes they just blew half the budget for Volume 5 (the other half was stolen by Gray Torchwick) and turned it into a Bottle Season.Adam beats up a bunch of dudes because he took a massive L these Volumes.

Weiss ends up fighting wasps and crash lands right to where bandits were.Yang fights some bandits and confronts Raven, her mom, all while finding Weiss in a cage. Raven tells Yang not to trust Ozpin, Vale’s headmaster, and she sends him to Qrow.Blake meanwhile tries to get people to join her in saving Haven Academy, but no one listens. It takes her burning down her house to convince them.Ruby sits in a house for most of the volume while she meets Oscar, Ozpin’s new meat puppet. She is led into an obvious trap where she fights-

Having obtained a powerful relic, the group head off to Atlas. However, after Ozpin screwed them over and seeing what he had been hiding from them, Qrow "politely" tells Ozpin to f off. They crash at an abandoned house where they fight spooky scary skeletons. They go to Argus where a short lady tells them off. So they decide to take the logical option of stealing a military airship.It ends as well as Blake’s abusive ex trying for the twenty-fifth time to re-enter her life. However, Ruby manages to stop a monster and they head off.

The gang arrive at Atlas where they’re brought to the general. He explains his plan to unite the world. Ruby, not sharing the same trust he gives her, lies about what they learned and only decides to tell him the truth when a city's on fire.There’s a ton of political allegories because Atlas is America, but the take away is that the general flips his shit after finding that RWBY betrayed his trust and has his men try to arrest them. Qrow resists arrest and gets his new friend killed in the process. Also, Penny’s back.

RWBY splits up again because Yang didn’t like how Volume 7 went. One team got Amity up and running while the other tried to help evacuate people until the Hound captures Oscar. However, Oscar manages to turn two people to the side of good and blows up Salem with a cane nuke.Ironwood’s sanity degrades to the point where he has an unhealthy obsession with having Penny all to himself. This leads to the girls turning Penny into a real girl… then kill her off two episodes later when Cinder mortally wounds her.Team RWBY fall. Atlas falls.

At some point, a C-list villain from the Flash’s Rogues Gallery traps RWBY and the Justice League in a virtual Remnant so that we can get fanservice in the form of old settings and characters rendered in Maya and a female Green Lantern that becomes more popular than any of the other members combined.After the C-lister’s plan to make the Justice League horny failed, Best RWBY Villain’s plan to unleash virtual Grimm onto the DC Universe ensues. After doing character arcs better suited for Volume 10, RWBY stops the dastardly duo and saves the DC Universe.

The RWBY Cast gets shanghai’d in wonderland and meet a mouse.They go to an auction and beat up JelloApocalypse as a Raccoon.Then they go beat a child at chess.After that, they trip out on drugs and talk about character arcs that they completed five Volumes ago.After the bees (finally) make out, Jaunestown drinks the Kool-Aid and Ruby decides it’s worth trying out as well.RoosterTeeth didn’t learn their lesson from Gen:LOCK’s second season and revisit “suicide = ascension”, but now with therapy.The entire volume is filler except for the fact that the Gods are lazy.Oh, Neo’s dead.
