“Come on Seokie, you would be a great king,” Yoongi said as he leaned his head against Hoseok’s shoulder. “Just promise you won't forget me.”
Hoseok smiled softly as he wrapped his arm around the shorter male before placing a soft kiss to the side of his head.
“Why would I ever forget you?” he asked, nuzzling Yoongi's dark red hair. “You were the first friend I had, my first boyfriend, and my first love, why would I forget you?”
Yoongu bit his lip as he looked down, beginning to pick at the grass they were sitting on. “It’s just...you know I hate being left alone... every day leading up to your coronation I fear that you will decide that I'm not right for you...that you'll leave me because I'm unworthy of being by your side.”
Hoseok smiled sadly as he began to rub Yoongi's arm softly, hoping to comfort the smaller male. Yoongi sighed contentedly as he buried his nose into Hoseok's neck. “That'll never happen, I promise,” Hoseok murmurs, kissing Yoongi's forehead.
Hoseok then glanced at the sky, looking at the stars above the cherry blossom trees in the garden they were sat in. He closed his eyes before reaching his left hand into his pocket and pulling out a small box.
He looked back at his beloved boyfriend before removing his arm from around Yoongi's shoulders. The smaller male let out a small whine at the loss before he looked over at Hoseok.
Hoseok smiled at him once more before standing up. Yoongi made the motion to follow, but Hoseok gently put his hand on his shoulder, forcing him to stay seated. Yoongi frowned.
“Hobi, what are you---”
“Shh,” Hoseok hushed him softly before getting down on one knee. Yoongi's eyes widened and his hands started shaking as he lifted them to cover his mouth.
Hoseok kept his left hand behind his back as he began to speak.
“Min Yoongi,” he started, smiling widely at his trembling boyfriend. “I have known you since we were kids. I don't think I could ever forget accidentally bumping into you while trying to escape my tutor.”
He heard Yoongi giggle softly before he continued.
“I knew from that moment that we were destined to be together, even if you didn't feel the same way. The day I asked you out will always be implanted deeply into my memories. The way your eyes lit up, and the way you smiled so wide as you ran towards me to hug me.”
He saw Yoongi's eyes tearing up and he smiled once more as he brought his left hand in front if him, presenting the box to the smaller male. With his shaking right hand, he opened the box to reveal a simple band with a small diamond in the middle, placed delicately between two small rhinestones.
“So without further ado, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me, Min Yoongi?” Hoseok asked, his hands shaking a bit as he waited for the small man to answer.
“Holy shit Hobi, yes!” Yoongi yelled, throwing himself at the other male and tightly wrapping his arms around him in a tight hug. “Yes, yes, yes, a hundred times yes.”
Hoseok laughed joyfully as he hugged his fiancé back before breaking away to place the ring on Yoongi's finger.
Once the ring was placed, he brought Yoongi's mouth to his and kissed him passionately, silently thanking him for accepting his proposal.
Soon that passionate kiss turned into a fight for dominance between their tongues and Hoseok decided that they needed to take it elsewhere.
They broke apart and Hoseok brought his forehead to meet Yoongi's. He gazed deeply into the smaller males eyes as he smiled.
“Let's go inside,” he murmurs, standing up and offering a hand to Yoongi to help him up. The dark red haired male accepted, and Hoseok pulled him up before picking him up bridal style.
“Hobi, I can walk,” Yoongi whined out, trying to get down. Hoseok laughed and shook his head.
“Not happening Yoongs,” he said as he began to walk towards the castle.
~~~
That morning, Hoseok woke before Yoongi. He glanced down at the male who had his head nestled on his bare chest as he snored softly. Hoseok smiled.
God, how did I get so lucky?
He leaned down to kiss Yoongi's head, his smile never leaving his face.
Yoongi whined softly as he struggled to open his eyes. Once he did, he looked at Hoseok and smiled, his gums showing.
“Good morning sleeping beauty,” Hoseok whispered softly, bringing his right hand to Yoongi's back and scratching the bare skin softly. “How’d you sleep last night?”
“Decently,” Yoongi yawned out, nuzzling Hoseok's chest. “Although, my backside hurts like hell.”
Hoseok chuckled, shaking his head. “Sorry about that.”
Yoongi rolled his eyes, opening his mouth to say something before closing it again.
“You okay baby?” Hoseok asks, frowning.
“Shh,” Yoongi murmurs, trying to stay as quiet as possible. “Do you hear that?”
“Hear what?” Hoseok asks, his body tensing as he tightened his grip on Yoongi.
“The screams,” Yoongi whispers, his eyes widening as he looked at Hoseok, his face growing paler than usual.
Hoseok felt his chest grow numb with fear as he heard feet running down the hall before they stopped in front of his door.
His door was then thrust open forcefully and in came soldiers from the Glass Kingdom.
Hoseok couldn't breathe or do anything as he watched two of the soldiers walk over to his bedside and forcefully grab Yoongi. Yoongi grabbed at the bed, trying to find something stable to hold onto to prevent himself from being taken.
“Hobi!” he shouted as he was brought over to the rest of the soldiers and restrained. He started kicking and screaming as tears rolled down his cheeks.
All Hoseok could do was watch.
“Hobi, please help me!” Yoongi screamed, struggling against his restraints. “Hoseok, please! Hoseok!”
“Shut the fuck up,” one of the soldiers snapped, smacking the back of Yoongi's head. “He can't help you, he's in shock you dumb bitch.”
Hoseok felt fury rise in his chest as he watched the soldier smack his fiancé. He snapped himself out of his shocked state. Quickly, he got out of the bed, and stood up, squaring his shoulders as he looked at the soldiers.
“Release him,” he snaps, clenching his fists.
The soldier that had smacked Yoongi rolled his eyes as he gestured to one of the soldiers behind him. “Take the bitch away, I'll deal with him,” he said. The soldier nodded as he grabbed Yoongi's arm, forcefully making him stand. He then proceeded to drag him from the room, the dark red haired male screaming and struggling as he was dragged.
Hoseok snarled loudly as he ran towards the soldier who had commanded his fiancé be taken away. He saw the soldier smirk as he came closer. However, when he was close enough to tackle the soldier, he was knocked to the ground on his hands and knees. He let out a cry of pain as he hit the wooden floor of his suite.
“You're so pathetic,” the soldier mocked as he went behind Hoseok, placing his foot on Hoseok's back. “You couldn't even save your whore of a fiancé.”
“Don't call him that,” Hoseok snapped as the soldier pushed his back, causing him to fall on his stomach.
“I do not think you are in the position to tell me what to do,” the soldier said, kneeling down. Hoseok felt him wrap a cloth around his wrists before another one was wrapped around his eyes. He struggled against the ones on his wrists, desperate to try to get it to break.
“Who even are you?” he then snapped.
He heard the soldier chuckle before speaking. “I am Kim Yejin, general of the Glass Kingdom.”
“Why are you doing this?” Hoseok hissed as he felt Yejin forcefully pull him up.
“I was bored,” Yejin says, forcing Hoseok to begin walking. Hoseok struggled, but Yejin kicked him in his shin, making him stop. “Anymore questions?”
Hoseok stayed silent.
“Good.”
~~~
He was led to the cellar. Once they arrived, he was shoved into a cell before Yejin removed his blindfold and restraints. He then promptly left the cell, slamming the gate behind him.
Hoseok screamed loudly as he ran to the cell bars, desperately shaking them before feeling a tight pain in his chest. He started breathing heavily and he sank down against the bars, tears threatening to fall from his eyes.
He closed his eyes, trying to suppress them. It worked until he started thinking about Yoongi.
His Yoongi, his beautiful small fiancé that was ripped away from him.
And then tears fell, smacking against the stone ground as he wept.
~~~
Three days later, he was curled up in a fetal position, refusing to eat what little was offered to him.
He just wanted to die.
He closed his eyes and waited for death to come.
~~~
Five days later, he heard something unusual.
He heard the quiet pitter-patter of paws running towards his cell.
His eyes shot open as he unfurled himself to face whatever was approaching the cell.
The creature that had approached the cell was a small snowy fox. Hoseok tilted his head.
How the hell did it get down here?
His question was soon answered when the animal started to change form, the bones making sickening cracking noises as it transformed.
Hoseok's eyes widen as he stared at the man in front of him. The man had broad shoulders and a delicate face. His eyes were a soft brown, and his hair was a soft pink, the complete opposite of the fox’s fur.
The man reached into his pocket and pulled out a pair of keys. He quickly selected a small brass one, putting it into the key slot. He turned it, making the lock pop open. He then pulled the cell's gate open, quickly gesturing for Hoseok to get out.
“We don't have much time,” he said once Hoseok was fully out of the cell. “Namjoon was only able to give me a few minutes before the portal collapsed.”
Hoseok nodded still shocked at his sudden rescue.
“Follow me,” the male said, beginning to walk towards a wall.
“But--”
“No buts!” he snapped, picking up speed. “If you want to be saved you need to follow me!”
Hoseok nodded, still a bit weary as he jogged towards the other male who had stopped a few inches away from the wall.
“Go through the wall, I'll meet you on the other side,” he says.
“Do I look like an idiot? That walls solid!” Hoseok exclaimed, eyeing the pink haired male.
The male rolled his eyes before sticking his hand into the wall, revealing a flowy surface. Hoseok's eyes widen in disbelief.
“Now do you believe me?” the pinkette snapped. Hoseok nods.
The pinkette then huffed, clearly annoyed with Hoseok lack of speed. He then walked behind Hoseok, putting his hands on his back, and pushing him into the wall.
Hoseok yelped as he was forcefully pushed into the wall. When he came out of the wall, he stayed in midair for a moment before falling to the wooden floor beneath him.
The pinkette followed, landing more gracefully as if he had done it hundreds of times.
Hoseok glanced back over to the wall he fell out of. The surface was solid, going back to its natural state as if the portal was never there.
Hoseok stood up, dusting himself off as he looked at the pinkette standing in front of him.
“Who are you?” he asked, crossing his arms.
The pinkette smirked, putting his hands on his hips.
“I'm Kim Seokjin, co leader of the Conquerors.”
