His stomach was growling. The last time he ate was last night at about 11:30 pm. His meal was nothing more than a bag of stale chips, the last bag of stale chips he had before his food ran out. It was now 9:00 pm and all he could hear and focus on was the loud rumble of his stomach, and the acidic pain inside his empty gut. He should’ve been more mindful about his food rations, he should’ve called Haewon to replenish it, but he forgot all about that as he cooped up inside his home, too focused on his work.  It’s almost finished now, his latest painting. The cacophony of black, dark red and dark blue hues complete with their harsh brush strokes stared back at him. His art was always like that — violent and soulless, reflecting all the anger, pain and hurt that he often leaves unsaid. All that was left to do was to engrave the letters ‘TH’ using white ink on its bottom corner, a single purely white speck in an otherwise dark landscape. His signature, ‘TH,’ for Taehyung. As Taehyung finished writing his signature on the canvas, he straightened his back and groaned, he couldn’t ignore his hunger any longer. It was a bad habit of his, losing himself on an art work that he forgets most of his earthly needs which includes showering, and yes, eating. He was a painter, he takes commissions from the internet where he could remain anonymous, where no one had to know who he was or what he was. Like all artists, the money he receives is too little of a compensation for the effort he gives, but at least it keeps him fed — except when he actually forgets to buy the food that will feed him.  Will he go out? It’s too dangerous and he might get caught, but he was too hungry, he needed to eat something. He stood up from his stool and left his canvass to dry, heading towards the bathroom. He splashed some water on his face to refresh himself and his startling feline grey eyes stared back at him from the bathroom mirror. He hoped that there would be no one on the streets tonight, but in any case, he will need to keep his head low. He slipped on a hoodie, hiding his feline ears and willing them to lay flat against his head, then he slipped on a long coat in order to hide his tail. It felt hot under his many layers, but it was fine, just as long as no one discovered what he was. Taehyung was a pure-breed feline hybrid, which was ironic because what in being a hybrid was even pure? Hybrids are already halves of two species, neither an animal nor a human being. He didn’t belong anywhere. His parents were both hybrids which made him a Pure and extremely rare, while those with one hybrid and one human parents were half-breed hybrids— just like his best friend, Jimin.  Remembering Jimin leaves a painful ache in his chest. Jimin was the one who used to go out and buy their living necessities, because he had a lower risk of detection due to him being a Half. In order to protect his best friend, Jimin placed himself at risk and was probably caught, sold, or even worse, killed.  Taehyung never heard from him again.  The girl who delivered his needs, another Half named Haewon, would refuse to go out this late at night. She only delivered during the day wearing her usual hoodie and a long skirt, effectively hiding her ears and tail. She was a runner for other hybrids, especially for Pures like Taehyung, but even she won’t risk doing a run during the night.  Although still dangerous, less people bothered them during the day because there would be too many witnesses. But at night, when people were asleep, mafias and gangs prowled the streets looking for harmless hybrids to be sold at their ‘auctions’ as nothing else but pleasure toys. The government didn’t care, hybrids barely had any rights. They were mutations, nothing more. So those who resided in the dark underbelly of the city did whatever they wanted with them.  It was a fucking shitty life.
10 minutes.
That’s the time it’ll take to get to the nearest convenience store. If he runs fast enough, he can be back in no time. “I’ll be fine, I’ll be fine,” Taehyung repeated, trying to convince himself.  His mind told him to wait till the morning, but his body desperately craved for nutrition. His hands felt clammy as he grabbed the door knob. Taehyung sent out a silent prayer as he walked out and locked the door behind him. And then he ran.  — It was cold outside tonight. It must’ve just rained for the pavement was wet and he made sloshing sounds on the little puddles as he ran. He didn’t really live in a good kind of neighborhood, the apartments were small and the houses could barely be called houses. He had no choice though, it was all he could afford.  He ran through the streets, his stomach growled even louder with every step. He  felt like he would die if he won’t be able to curb his hunger. Good thing the streets were pretty much isolated, the remaining stragglers not even bothering to give him a look as he ran past them and he did his best to avoid them.  Taehyung felt more light-headed as he ran, so he stopped, leaning against the wall of a back alley to catch his breath. His vision blurred a bit and he closed his eyes. Only a little bit now, he just needed to push himself further. He pushed himself against the wall, forcing himself to take one more step in front of the other. The store was so near, just a little bit more. Except he never got there as he ended up bumping onto someone and falling on his ass against the cold, wet pavement. “Gotta be careful there,” a gruff voice said. Taehyung looked up and squinted at the man standing before him. He was big and buff with an unkempt beard, but what stood out to Taehyung the most was the tattoo on his forearm: the image of a roaring lion.
The Clawed Lion.

Mafia.
Taehyung’s eyes widened and he started to back up, but the man stepped forward and smiled at him.“Pretty ears you’ve got there, and even prettier eyes,” the man observed. Taehyung placed a hand on his head and touched the fur of his ears. His hood fell off. Hunger mostly forgotten, it was immediately replaced with fear instead. His heart started to beat rapidly against his chest and he looked around. There was no one else in this alley, it was dark and even if he screamed, no one would help him — no one would help a hybrid anyway.  Shaking, he slowly stood up, and the man cocked his head to the side, “Where are you going, kitten? Stay here with me. I mean, you’re the one who bumped into me. Judging by your weird eyes, you’re a Pure. Damn, I’m lucky. I’ve never tasted a Pure like you.” Taehyung swallowed. Run, fight or be caught, those were his only options. He blamed himself for this, he was stupid and now he had to suffer the consequences. Taehyung looked at the man in fear and in a split-second, he chose to run. However, he immediately regretted that decision as the man was faster than him and gripped his arms, slamming him against the wall. Taehyung felt the impact of the smash, he doubled over and groaned in pain, but the man pushed him back against the wall. The man held his chin up and inspected his face.“Pretty, pretty,” the man mused.“Please just let me go,” Taehyung pleaded, he tried to break away from his grip but the man was too strong and wouldn’t budge at all.“Why would I when you’re such a good catch? How many millions will I get out of you? Maybe even billions? The boss will be so happy to have you, but not before I have you first.” The man closed in, was about to place his mouth on Taehyung’s neck, but not before Taehyung kneed him on the crotch and scratched at his face. The man yelled, clutching his bleeding face. Taehyung tried to run again, but he was still faster, pulling and throwing him against the wall. This time, Taehyung’s head hit the wall and he felt the pain hit the back of his head. He tried to struggle, yet the man had him pinned again. “It’s true you hybrids are weak, but aren’t as docile as I thought. But I think I like that better, you having some resistance. Makes it more exciting.”Taehyung spat at his face, “You fucking piece of shit. Let me go!” The man only laughed and then punched Taehyung’s stomach. Taehyung was starting to feel all the effects hit him at once: the pain in his head, his stomach and the hunger. Is this what Jimin went through? He hated this, he hated having no control over himself, and the impending assault that was about to happen. He couldn’t let this happen. Despite his dimming vision, he clawed, scratched and kicked with all his power, but with his losing strength, it was to no avail.  The man sent another punch to his stomach, causing him to double over and fall to the ground, he groaned and whispered, “No, no, no,” over and over again, but the man didn’t listen. He hoisted Taehyung up again, and forced his legs apart, chuckling, “I knew hybrids were pretty, but you’re the prettiest one I’ve seen. I really want to hear you mewl.”“You’re annoying,” Taehyung opened his eyes and with his blurry vision, he could see the figure of a man behind his assaulter. He could barely see his face, but his pale white hair stood out against the night. The man holding Taehyung stilled, “What did you say?”“I said, you’re annoying. ‘I knew hybrids were pretty, but you’re the prettiest one I’ve seen?’” He scoffed, “Damn, your lines are cringy as hell.” The newcomer answered. “Who the fuck are you?! I have business here. Leave!” The newcomer chuckled, “You don’t know me? Well, that doesn’t matter. Your ‘business’ doesn’t look like he wants to be here. Let him go.” “Get your own fucking catch! Got this bitch first,” the man answered, he pressed himself up against Taehyung again and Taehyung felt disgusted as his lips touched his skin, but his grip was too tight. Suddenly, he found himself falling towards the ground as the man was wrenched away from him. He opened his eyes again and saw the man being thrown to the ground by the newcomer. “Tsk, tsk, I told you to let him go, didn’t I?”The man groaned and got up, “You little piece of shit!” but the newcomer who looked smaller than the man was already on him. It was a flurry of kicks and punches, and Taehyung could only watch as the man fell, bruised and bloodied. The newcomer kneeled down in front of him and Taehyung could finally see his face. He was only able to whisper a small, “Thank you,” as his vision blacked out. — When he came into consciousness, his body was screaming in pain, his head felt like it was being split into two and his hunger was gnawing at him. He cracked open his eyes and saw that he was in an unfamiliar bedroom. The place was too luxurious and the bed was too soft to be his own. He sat up and groaned as his muscles felt stiff. Where was he? The last thing he remembered was that man from The Clawed Lion who wanted to assault him, and then another person came. Who was he? Is this his place? Just then the door opened and in came a woman in a maid’s uniform carrying in tray full of food. Taehyung’s eyes went wide with fear, but the smell of food made his mouth water. He watched as the woman came closer and placed the tray of food in front of him.The woman sensed Taehyung’s fear and she said, in a comforting voice, “Please don’t be scared. Mr. Min told me to give you some food, you must be hungry.”“M—Mr. Min?” Taehyung asked.“Yes,” she smiled, “He’s the one that brought you here. He’ll be with you in a moment, he’s just currently in meeting.”“Oh… Thank you for the food,” Taehyung replied. The woman bowed, “You’re welcome,” she said, as she headed out of the room. Once the woman was gone,  Taehyung found himself loafing down the food, he didn’t know what time of the day it was or where he was, but right now, he didn’t care. The food could have poison in it and he wouldn’t know or care until he was dead, none of that mattered right now. The food that was given to him was the most delicious thing he’d had in a while. Too busy eating, he didn’t notice the man who came in until he spoke, “Well, you seem hungry.”Taehyung looked up, his face stuffed with food. Upon seeing the man, he backed up against the headboard. The man was shorter than him, wearing a black suit, his skin was pale and his hair was dyed white. He was handsome, yet his face was stern, and he looked a bit older than Taehyung. He was the same man who saved him.“Go on, please,” the man who he assumed to be Mr. Min spoke, “I’m not gonna hurt you.”Taehyung swallowed his food, put the tray aside, and looked at Mr. Min. Can he even trust this guy? Nonetheless, he said, “Thank you for saving me.”“It’s no problem. Judging by your eyes, you’re a full-bred hybrid, aren’t you? And please, call me Yoongi.” “Y—Yoongi. Who are you? Why did you saved me?” Taehyung asked, he had a bad feeling about this man.“I’m Min Yoongi, head of  The Twin Dragons.” The Twin Dragons, just like The Clawed Lion, was another prominent mafia in Seoul. Taehyung now knew why his name sounded familiar. This man was dangerous and Taehyung was probably in the heart of that danger. More than common thugs, this man was the leader of them all, and Taehyung had no idea what he planned to do with him. “I—I don’t know why you saved me, but please, I’m begging you, just let me go.” Taehyung pleaded.“Let you go? I wasn’t even chaining you down in the first place,” Yoongi replied, raising a brow, “You could leave here and go back to your shitty life. But I have a proposition for you, hybrid.”He continued, “What’s your name?”Taehyung was still unsure about his guy, but now, he definitely feared him. Taehyung believed this guy could kill him in a second, if he wanted. “Taehyung,” he answered.“Taehyung, what do you say… about becoming mine?” — Taehyung choked, “What?”“You heard me. Become mine. Let me have ownership of you. It’s a simple concept.” Yoongi said, smugly. Taehyung’s fear dissipated into anger. How dare he? Everyone just looks down on his kind and this man isn’t any better. They all think that hybrids are worth nothing except becoming humanity’s pets, it’s disgusting. “And what?! Treat me as your fucking sex slave? Your little fucked up form of entertainment? It’s no better than the hybrids being sold at auctions.” Taehyung exclaimed.“Not in that way,” Yoongi shook his head, chuckling, “Ownership in name only. We don’t have to fuck… well, not unless you want to?”“Fuck no, I don’t.” Taehyung shook his head fervently.Yoongi laughed again, cracking a smile that showed of his gums. Taehyung thought that seeing a mafia boss smiling was a bit weird. “You are beautiful, unarguably so. I won’t say no,” Yoongi shrugged.“However, I don’t really fancy forcing myself on other people. It’s just not my type of entertainment. What I’m suggesting is more of a partnership. You will be under my protection — no one can touch you, you will never be in danger when you’re with me. You can be free, Taehyung. No need to hide, no need to keep yourself imprisoned in such a shitty life. I can pay you if you want, you can live in my home. Be comfortable and live luxuriously—”Taehyung cut him off, “The only catch is, I have to wear your collar on my neck. Escaping one prison and moving on to the next.”“Well, at least it’s a fancier cage,” Yoongi’s smiled cockily and Taehyung wanted nothing more that to punch his face. “Nothing like yesterday will happen to you again. All you need to do is act like your mine, my sweet docile pet, and appear beside me.”“What, like your trophy wife?” Taehyung scoffed.“If you want to put it that way, then yes. Pures like you are extremely rare and hard to breed because of complicated hybrid genetics. You have a large price on your head, showing you off is good for my reputation. Think about it, Taehyung, it’s a good offer. I’ll give you a day.” With those last words, Yoongi bowed and left the room. — Becoming a pet is one of his worst nightmares, he heard of the many sick stories that happened to hybrids once they were sold off by the mafias. However, Min Yoongi was offering another thing… it couldn’t be that bad, right? But it all went against his values. He protested this society through his art, if he agreed to this then it meant that he was a perpetrator to the same society that oppressed him.   Still, the thought of being able to live comfortably… was tempting. Not having to live on rations, unstable income, and in shitty houses sounded… nice. But that was only true if Min Yoongi kept his word and Taehyung really didn’t know that man.  It’s a good thing he was given a day about it, because thinking about it made his head hurt harder.  He looked around the room, he wasn’t exactly locked up, right? That meant he could move. He got out of the bed and groaned as he did so, going straight to the bathroom. The bathroom was probably the size of his own home, complete with a marble bath. He removed his hoodie and wiped himself up, noticing the bruises that littered his body. After, he put on his clothes, went back into the bedroom and headed to the door. Could he make a run for it? What if there were bodyguards everywhere who could just shoot him down? But that man said that he wont hurt him right? Even if he didn’t accept his offer? Taehyung was never one for good decisions, because his consecutive bad decisions were ones that almost got him caught and led him here, now he was probably about to make more. He turned the knob and pulled the door open, revealing a hallway. He slowly walked out of the room, there were several doors on each side of the hallway that opened out into a living room at the end. Taehyung headed there, leaning against the wall so he wouldn’t be seen, hearing people talking in the living room. There were several voices and one of them was Min Yoongi. “I told you to go to check over the shipments, Jungkook! We can’t have mistakes like these happening! You can’t become your father’s successor if you keep messing up.” Yoongi reprimanded.“But hyung, I was out of town remember? I took Minnie to Paris for the weekend. I asked my secretary to handle it, didn’t know he would fuck it up,” a whiny male voice answered. “Yes, because it wasn’t your secretary’s job, Jungkook. It was yours.” Yoongi reprimanded again, “Namjoon, how many crates were misdelivered?”A deep, male voice spoke up, “A hundred crates that were supposed to be delivered to Hong Kong were sent to mainland China instead.”“Oops. I’m so sorry,” the man with the whiny voice, with no regret whatsoever in his voice, replied.“Your apology means shit, Jungkook. Get your act together. And Jimin, why didn’t you stop him? If there’s one person he would listen to, it’s you.” Huh? J—Jimin? Taehyung’s heart hammered in his chest, his heart hurt with the anticipation of maybe seeing his bestfriend again but it was readying itself for disappointment if it was a different Jimin all along. There were millions of Jimin’s in Seoul. It couldn’t be, it couldn’t possibly be his Jimin. But then that Jimin spoke with his soft, lilting voice and a giggle that he hasn’t heard in over a year. “Well, Mr. Min,” Jimin spoke, “when Jungkook said ‘Paris,’ who am I to refuse?” Taehyung moved away from wall and ran to the living room, four heads turning towards him in surprise. Yoongi was sitting on a chair with a man behind him, across from him is a younger man, and there sprawled on the floor beside the feet of the man was none other than the bestfriend he thought he lost forever, Park Jimin.“Taehyungie?” Jimin whispered, his eyes wide with surprise.Taehyung didn’t even speak, instead he ran towards Jimin with his arms wide open, tears filling his eyes. Jimin’s arms welcomed him and he finally felt the warmth that had been missing from his life for so long. “Jimin… Jimin, y—youre alive,” Taehyung sobbed into Jimin’s arms.Taehyung felt Jimin clutch him tight and felt Jimin’s lips kiss the crown of his head. Jimin patted Taehyung, trying to comfort him, whispering, “Yes, I’m here, baby. I’m alive.” — Taehyung didn’t know just how long they sat there in each other’s arms, he didn’t care. Jimin then took on the job to explain that they were bestfriends before he was captured and bought by the young man named Jungkook. Now they were back in the room that Taehyung deserted, on the bed, with Jimin nuzzling Taehyung’s neck.  This felt good, this felt like home. Jimin’s warmth was something he sorely missed and he blamed himself over losing him because of his incapabilities.Jimin looked up with his human-like brown eyes staring against Taehyung’s own rare grey eyes. Half-breeds had normal eyes, just like human beings, which made them easier to blend in. “I missed you, Taehyungie,” he whispered, wrapping his tail around Taehyung’s leg just like he always did, “I’m sorry I haven’t been able to see you. I’m not really allowed to leave Jungkook’s side.”Taehyung touched the pink collar on Jimin’s neck. “But he treats you well, right? He doesn’t hurt you?”Jimin shook his head and smiled sadly, “You must have been so worried about me. I’m so sorry. And yes, he treats me well and doesn’t hurt me. I remember the shame of being stripped down in that auction room, with everyone staring at me,” Jimin’s voice became shaky as he continued, “I—I’m just lucky that he was the one who took me in. He treats me like a doll, something precious and he loves to lavish me. I like the attention, but to be honest, we’re still different. I’m still just his pet and he owns me, I’ll never be his equal.”“Are you happy?” Taehyung asked.“I—I guess I’m as happy as I can be. I want to be free, Taehyungie, like actual freedom. But that’ll never happen. I’m just thankful for Jungkook for taking me and not letting me experience the nightmare that other hybrids undergo through. What about you? Mr. Min told me what happened, that he saved you from one of Kim’s men, and he offered something to you?”“Kim’s men?” Taehyung asked.“Yes. The Clawed Lion. The one heading it now is a man named Kim Seokjin, just like how The Twin Dragons were founded by the Min’s and the Jeon’s. Min Yoongi and Jungkook’s father are the current heads.”“Oh. He, umm, he offered me protection, Jimin. In exchange of my autonomous rights. But I don’t know if I could trust him. He said I don’t have to have sex with him or anything, just to appear beside him.”Jimin’s eyes widened, “Really? He’s never had a hybrid pet before, I guess you really interested him. You are beautiful, Tae.”Taehyung scoffed, “All hybrids are blessed with a pretty face, I’m not special. You’re much prettier than me.”“That’s not true!” Jimin answered, giggling, “Mr. Min must reeeally be attracted to you. He’s quite picky. But on a serious note, I think you could trust him, Tae. Of course, he’s still dangerous— he’s part of the mafia after all and he’s done… things. Still, he’s better than most and he actually does keep his word. I know that you don’t like the concept of being owned, because neither do I but what he’s offering you is a chance, something definitely better than the life you have at that shithole.” Jimin had a nostalgic look on his eyes as he continued, “We were always hungry back then, the food that I could buy during my runs were limited, and you couldn’t even afford proper art supplies. Why not look at this as an opportunity instead?”Taehyung considered Jimin’s words for a moment, his bestfriend had a point. It also meant that he’d be able to see Jimin often and they had a lot to catch up on. Taehyung smiled and leaned in to kiss Jimin’s forehead, “I’ll think about it, Jimin.” — Jimin had to leave with Jungkook that night after assuring him of Yoongi’s integrity before he left. When he said his goodbyes he said he hoped that he’d be able to see Taehyung again and Taehyung only hoped for the same. They stayed all day in that room so Taehyung had not seen Yoongi again until night came, and Yoongi had to collect his answer. “Have you decided?” Yoongi asked, wasting no time as he entered the room.Taehyung bit his lips then replied, “If I don’t agree to this, what will happen to me?”“Then we part ways. You have no business with me and I’ll have no business with you. I could care less what happens to you.”“You’re very blunt, aren’t you?” Taehyung said, raising a brow.“And you’re very spiteful for a hybrid, aren’t hybrids supposed to be docile? And yes, I just don’t like wasting time.” Yoongi answered.“Well, once we get to know each other more, you’ll find out that a lot of things that humans think about hybrids are a load of bull.” “‘Get to know each other more’? That means you’re saying yes, right?” A smile quirked up the sides of Yoongi’s mouth. Now, Taehyung thought that it doesn’t look that bad on the supposedly big, bad mafia man.
Maybe this won’t be so bad.
Taehyung looked at the man, sighed and finally said, “Yes.” — You’d think Min Yoongi was a cold man, but as time went by Taehyung proved that that earlier impression was wrong. He rarely smiled but sometimes, Taehyung could crack a smile out of him. Taehyung thought that his fear of the man at first was unfounded and now stupid. He still didn’t trust him, but the man really kept his word. He now had Yoongi’s color around his neck, a simple black band that signified his ownership. Yoongi didn’t speak to Taehyung more than necessary and he was always off to meetings. Taehyung thought he would be going along with the man but the man answered that they were only internal meetings and that his services would not be needed. Taehyung lavished around Min Yoongi’s mansion not really doing anything which made him extremely bored. He missed making art, his art supplies were meager but they were usable. He missed the feeling of a paintbrush between his fingers, he even missed the smell of paint. He would go around the house looking at each painting, each sculpture knowing how expensive they were and wondering if he would be able to make something like them again.  One day, Yoongi found him staring at a painting of a bare woman in the living room.“Pretty isn’t it? I don’t know much about art, but I know beauty when I see it. They said that woman is Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty.” Yoongi said from behind him.Taehyung looked away from the painting and stared at the man, “Is that why you saved me?” Because you see beauty in me?Yoongi had a small smile on his face as he replied, “Perhaps.” The next day, one of the maids led Taehyung to a room and inside the room was an artist’s dream. All the art materials that any artist would ever dream of. He started spending his days there. Once in a while, whenever Jungkook would be in a meeting with Yoongi, he was able to see Jimin. Taehyung excitedly showed him his new art room. Jimin looked around the room in awe, “Wow,” he said.“I know. I don’t know how he found out that I love art, but one day, he just gave me all of this.”Jimin smiled, “He asked me, he wanted to know why you always looked at the art pieces in the house. I told him you were an artist.”“Why didn’t he just ask me?” Taehyung asked.“You see, believe it or not, Mr. Min’s a bit shy,” Jimin giggled, “But I believe you’ll be able to break him out of his shell one day.” — There came a time when Taehyung was tired of the one word exchanges that they’ve been having and he took the prerogative to go to the man himself. It was late at night and he found himself knocking on the man’s bedroom. He’d never been inside Yoongi’s room before. Yoongi was a private person it seemed and he respected that.
“Who is it?” Yoongi asked from inside the room.“It’s me, Taehyung.” After a few seconds, the door opened and Yoongi stood there in a pair of silk pajamas. “What do you want?”“Can we talk?” Taehyung asked.Yoongi invited Taehyung inside his room, it was bare and minimalistic. Just like his personality, Taehyung though snarkily. “What do you want to talk about?”Yeah, what do you want to talk about, Taehyung? Taehyung really didn’t think this through. “I, umm, I wanted to thank you for the art room.”“It was nothing.” “And uh, thank you for keeping your word.”“Of course.” All short answers, nothing more than what was necessary. But Taehyung pushed on, “I’m just wondering, you said you wanted to show me off or something, but why am I always cooped up in your home? Not that your home isn’t nice and all, I’m just wondering why.”“I’m mostly talking to my men, the meeting’s were nothing interesting anyway. If you need anything else, I’ll provide it for you, just tell me. Anything else?” Yoongi asked.“Umm, no not really. You must be busy, I’m so sorry for interrupting you.” Taehyung said, smiling at the man. Yoongi still didn’t let him in, maybe he’d need to try more next time. He bowed and was about to walk away when Yoongi spoke again, “I—I saw your art. I hope you don’t mind that I peeked into the art room. They were beautiful. I noticed that you liked using dark palettes, I don’t really now what they mean but despite the interplay of dark colors, it made sense. It’s coherent, somehow. Harmonious in chaotic kind of way.”Taehyung turned back, his eyes were slightly wide in surprise. “I—I’m glad you liked them,” then he smiled and continued, gathering his courage, “Yoongi, I’d really love to get to know you more.”“Me too, Taehyung. I’d love to get to know you.” Since that day, something in their relationship seemed to change. Is it the fact that both of them were making an effort? Yoongi seemed to smile a lot more with Taehyung. He talked more too, and Taehyung wasn’t afraid to be himself anymore. They bantered a lot and Taehyung found that Yoongi had that dry kind of humor and that Taehyung loved to pester him because he’s so easily annoyed. One day, Taehyung was in his art room, starting another piece. It was nice to be just painting for pleasure, there were no deadlines and he had all the materials he needed. Whenever he would forget to eat or come out of the room, a maid would come in and deliver him a meal. No more night runs. This time, it wasn’t a maid that popped in, but Yoongi himself.“That’s interesting,” Yoongi commented from behind him.Taehyung looked at him and smiled, “What are you doing here?”But Yoongi didn’t answer, he was still staring at the painting, “Is this a self-portrait?” Taehyung looked back at the portrait and sharp grey feline eyes stared back at him, “Yes, I guess so.”“It’s beautiful.” Yoongi said, “Are you tired? Let’s go grab a bite to eat.”Taehyung’s ears perked up at the mention of food, “Really? Together?” Yoongi placed a hand on Taehyung’s head and patted it, touching the fur of his ears, Taehyung leaned into his touch and mewled. It felt nice, they’ve got into a habit of doing that. “Yes, together. Change into something that’s… not so ugly,” noticing Taehyung’s paint-streaked shirt, “I’m taking you downtown.”Taehyung suddenly stood up, his tail swishing around, hitting the cup he used to wash out the paint from his paintbrushes. “We’re going out?!” He said excitedly, a beaming, boxy smile on his face.“We are. Now, clean up.  You’re more like a puppy than a cat. I’ll ask the maid to clean that up,” pertaining to the wet mess on the floor. Taehyung hadn’t been outside in such a long time. It was so nice to go inside the car and see the rush of the city lights passing him by. They went downtown of the city, somewhere that was more lux and upperclass, somewhere that he’d never been to. Yoongi took him to one of those restaurants that served five course meals that were all so pretty for Taehyung to eat that he felt bad for the chef who meticulously prepared them, but they were extremely delicious. At least the food kept his mind away from the people who were staring at them, or more specifically, at him. Yoongi told him not to hide his ears and tail and his eyes shone brightly under the lights, making everyone know that he was a full-bred hybrid. There were whispers when they came in and Taehyung tried to ignore them as they sat in the corner of the restaurants, but people still craned their heads to catch a glimpse of him, it was unnerving. Taehyung got it now, the protection that Yoongi meant. People could see his collar, they knew he was owned and wouldn’t dare approach him, the collar was both a symbol of his place in society and his shield. “Get used to it. People will stare at you, but they won’t dare hurt you when I’m with you.” Yoongi said, noticing Taehyung’s pout.“Yes, because you own me, right?” Taehyung answered, staring into Yoongi’s eyes, trying to ignore the prying eyes.“Of course. And they wouldn’t dare cross me if they found out who I am.”“Yes, head of The Twin Dragons, Min Yoongi. You know what’s weird? You don’t really look like a mafia head,” then Taehyung teased him, “Jungkook looks more like the part.”Yoongi narrowed his eyes which made Taehyung laugh a little, “Were you talking about my height? Jungkook’s taller than me, sure, but I have the power here, not him.”Taehyung whistled, “You said it, not me.”“Shut it. And don’t you dare compare me to that brat. All he does is fuck around, I’m the one putting in the actual work.” Yoongi replied, as he angrily stuffed his mouth with some food.Taehyung put up his hands in defeat, “Okay! Okay! I wont!” He said, laughing, “But you know what, when I first met you I was scared because you told me that you were a mafia head, but then I realize you were just a snarky asshole.” Yoongi nodded his head, “I’ll take that as a compliment.”“For real, Yoongi, you’re not as bad as I thought. I really didn’t trust you, but you did keep your word. Jimin was right. You’ve never given me a reason to actually hate you. But I can’t imagine you now as the big, bad mafia guy that you’re supposed to be. I mean, you’re not even big in the first place.”That comment got Taehyung a flick on the forehead, “Ouch!” Taehyung exclaimed, rubbing the sore spot.“And you— I thought hybrids were obedient and docile, weak creatures. But you’re proving yourself to be a big fucking brat, brat.”“That’s a myth, you know. Sure, we tend to be weaker physically than most humans, but we’re not docile or obedient, like actual cats or dogs. Being a hybrid doesn’t also makes us magically good at sex or anything. It’s all a myth. People only believe that and capture us because… we’re pretty and exotic.” Taehyung had a sad look on his face, recalling the fates of many hybrids like him.“I never went to auctions, you know. I told you before stuff like that isn’t my form of entertainment. But I’m not a good guy either, I’ve done some shit that’s why I’m in the mafia. But Seokjin has been gaining power and I need— I need a leverage. I need something of high value, to make me rise.”“And that’s where I come in, right? I know, I know,” Yoongi nodded at Taehyung’s words, “But you still haven’t taken me out until today. I thought you needed to parade me around, as the rare Pure you captured.” “About that, I’m meeting other mafia heads this Friday. You need to act the part of my obedient little kitty.” Yoongi informed.Taehyung pouted again, “I know, but you look so much more like a kitty than me.”Yoongi raised a brow, “Excuse me? I’m the bad guy here, I do not look like a kitty! Besides, you’re the one who has the ears and tails.”“You’re cute too, you know,” Taehyung said, a blush blossoming his cheeks and Yoongi looked away and threw his head back, laughing. During the drive, they shared even more stories with each other and the conversation between them grew even more comfortable. Now, they were home and Yoongi accompanied Taehyung to his bedroom. Taehyung stood by the door frame and bid Yoongi goodnight but not before saying, “You know, I’m glad that you’re the one who saved me.”A smile filled Yoongi’s face, “And I’m glad I saved you.”  Then he tiptoed a bit and left a kiss on Taehyung’s forehead. Taehyung felt his cheeks burn and his heart started to flutter ever so slightly. Smiling, he shook his head as he closed the door behind him wondering what the fuck was happening with him. — When Friday rolled around, Taehyung opened his eyes to find Namjoon, Yoongi’s secretary, hovering above him as he slept. Taehyung yelped in surprise and backed up the bed hitting his head in the process.“Ow!” He said, clutching his aching head.“Good morning, I didn’t mean to scare you like that. I’m sorry,” Namjoon said, bowing courteously.Taehyung sat up and waved his hands at the man, “No, no, it’s okay. I was just surprised, that’s all.”Namjoon smiled, “Well, Mr. Min wanted me to give this to you,” and pulled out a paper bag that was lying on the floor, on its front was the name of an extremely expensive brand. “They’re new clothes I picked up for you,” Namjoon sighed, “I’m his secretary, not his personal shopper but whatever, he asked me to tell you to change as you’ll be heading to the meeting in two hours. After you’ve washed and changed, kindly join him in the dining room for breakfast.”Taehyung nodded and said thanks to Namjoon who bowed again before leaving the room. The clothes were beautiful and stylish. If Taehyung had money to burn, he would definitely spend it on shit like this. He looked at himself in the mirror, the clothes hugged him in all the right places, accentuating every curve on his body. He went down to the dining room to join Yoongi for breakfast, the man sat there looking pristine with his usual expensive black suit and an array of food in front of him.“Good morning,” Yoongi greeted him as Taehyung plopped down on the seat beside him.“Good morning!” Taehyung greeted back.“You look good today, the clothes fit you well,” Yoongi complimented, reaching up to pat Taehyung’s head, Yoongi’s hands dropped to cup the side of Taehyung’s face and Taehyung nestled into the touch, humming happily.“I look better than usual?” Taehyung asked.A small smile quirked up Yoongi’s mouth, “Well, at least you don’t look like a stray kitty today.” Taehyung playfully punched Yoongi in the shoulder, Yoongi only chuckled and replied, “Eat up. We’re leaving after you’ve finished.” When they were in the car, Yoongi sat in the backseat with Taehyung while Namjoon sat in the front seat along with the driver. Taehyung’s brightness from a while ago has disappeared, replaced with nervousness. Yoongi noticed Taehyung’s shaking hands and he placed his own on top of Taehyung’s, “It’s cold,” Yoongi observed. “Don’t be nervous, okay?”“I’ll try. Will Jimin and Jungkook be there?”“Unfortunately, no. But calm down, Tae. This is meeting is just for re-establishing territories and what not, but some prominent mafia heads will be there along with their own hybrids. They’ll stare at you, Taehyung, because you’re different. Maybe they’ll even say comments. Don’t let it get to you. Act like your place is below mine, my obedient and docile pet. Don’t speak unless spoken to and always stay behind me. But remember, Tae, this is all a show, just an act. It wont be the real us.”Taehyung looked into Yoongi eyes and asked, “Then what are we? Who’s the real us?”“It takes time to know and truly, I don’t know yet. But I’ll keep in my heart the image of you that I’ve known so far, I wish you could do the same. After an hour inside the car, they arrived at a warehouse by the coast. A little bit in the distance, Taehyung could see boats docked by the bay. They both got out of the car, Yoongi kissed Taehyung’s forehead and asked him if he was ready and Taehyung only answered with a small nod.  Yoongi and Namjoon walked beside each other while Taehyung was trailing behind, keeping his head low. This is the first time that Yoongi was taking him into one of his meetings and his hands were clammy, and he was undoubtedly nervous. He wanted this meeting to pass by quickly. Arriving in the venue, he noticed a lot of men by the entrance of the warehouse, thugs most likely. They bowed and parted ways so Yoongi can pass through, but all eyes were on him. Yoongi’s new pretty pet. They stared at him with their mouths open, surprised that Yoongi has brought a hybrid for the first time. Some men opened the large metal entrance for him and they entered the warehouse. In the middle was a long table wherein men in suits were seated and behind them were… hybrids.  Yoongi sat at one end of the table, signifying his status. All the men looked towards him and there was a collective gasp coming from them because of Taehyung who stood behind Yoongi. Taehyung ignored the men but looked at the hybrids instead. They were a mixture of men and women, all halves, wearing extremely skimpy clothing, looking too gaunt, pale and thin for their own good. They looked sickly, and some of them had bruises on their neck or on their arms. Taehyung willed himself to look away for fear that his eyes might fill with tears upon seeing the devastating state of his kind. The only person who looked different from the rest of them was the hybrid at the other end of the table, a Half hybrid man who looked both young and healthy. In front of that hybrid was his owner, a handsome man in a suit and as soon as their eyes met, the man smiled and Taehyung felt a chill run down his spine. “Where did you get a Pure?!” someone asked.“A Pure???”“I’ve never seen a pure!”“Look at his eyes!”“He’s so beautiful! More beautiful than all my other hybrids!”There was an uproar as everybody began to ask questions about Taehyung, but Yoongi only a sat there, a little smile playing on his features.“How did you get him, Min?” The man at the far end, the man with the healthy hybrid asked.“Just got lucky.” Yoongi replied smugly.“Tell me, how much for him. Give me a price.” The man asked again.“Your confidence is outstanding and laughable. Sorry, Seokjin, he’s not for sale.” Yoongi answered. Taehyung’s eyes widened in surprise upon the realization of knowing who the man is. It was Kim Seokjin of The Clawed Lion, the boss of the man who almost assaulted him. The other men in suits started to name prices, prices that reached billions of won. He was surprised by how much these ugly people were willing to pay just to have him, but Yoongi calmly said no to each and every one of them.Kim Seokjin spoke again, “But Min,” he whined, “He and my Hoseok, could play with each other together. Think about it, it’ll be a beautiful sight.” And then Seokjin called the hybrid whose name was Hoseok and he leaned back and kissed the hybrid on the mouth, all for everyone to see.“Shut your disgusting trap and know what’s yours, you fucking rodent,” Yoongi snapped and Seokjin just threw his head back, laughing.Another man, seeing the tension that was emanating from Yoongi cleared his head and said, “I think it’s about time we start.”  The hybrids started walking away and Taehyung was lost, he didn’t know where they were going and if he needed to follow. Luckily, Namjoon was suddenly by his side, tapping him on the shoulder and leading him to a back room where all the hybrids went.“Hybrids aren’t allowed to listen in on meetings,” he explained, whispering to Taehyung as the men by the tables started their meeting, “The information is confidential, hybrids that don’t follow the rules suffer harsh consequences.”“So what are we doing here then?” Taehyung whispered back.“As decoration. Having hybrid pets is a signifier of power. And hybrids like you, an extremely rare one, to be owned by someone sends an even powerful message.”They walked towards the backroom and Namjoon said, “Stay here, when the meeting’s over, I’ll come to collect you.” Taehyung entered the backroom and saw the hybrids milling and sitting around. He couldn’t keep his eyes away from the bruises and marks that littered their body.“Mr. Min has never brought anyone before, you’re the first,” Someone said from beside him. Taehyung looked towards the voice and saw Hoseok, Kim Seokjin’s pet.“I know. I’m his first.”“Interesting. I wouldn’t blame him, I mean, look at you and your eyes. I wonder, how much were you bought for?” Hoseok asked.Taehyung swallowed, he didn’t know how to answer, “Umm, I’m not allowed to divulge that information.”Hoseok laughed, “Of course, of course! I’m sorry. But you must have sold for a lot, and your master seems to take care of you well.” Master? Yoongi never even asked Taehyung to call him Master.“Y—yeah, he does,” Taehyung replied awkwardly.“Lucky. Some of us here are dispensable, often times we never see some of the hybrids again. Some are gifted, or shared with strangers. It’s not like we have a choice. In the end, after our masters have had their fun, the hybrids just get replaced. It’s luckier to be dead, you don’t want to be placed in a nunnery. Pures like you will probably be more taken cared of, treasured.”“A nunnery..?” Taehyung didn’t know what a nunnery was, is that a place for… nuns?“A nunnery— a whorehouse, it’s where hybrids who don’t get sold at auctions go or where masters throw hybrids when they’ve gotten tired of them. It’s a pitiful life, there’s no escape.” Taehyung didn’t know about that, he only knew about the auctions. But of course, where else would the unauctioned hybrids go? Taehyung felt stupid and ignorant. He looked at the broken hybrids around him, weakened and had no rights for their own life.  “E—excuse me, Hoseok, does your master take care of you too? You seem… different from the others.” Taehyung asked, his voice stuttering from nervousness.Hoseok doubled over in laughter, “I’ll let you in on a secret, baby,” he said, crooking a finger towards Taehyung. Taehyung comes closer and Hoseok lets Taehyung peek inside his shirt, and Taehyung gasped at what he saw.  There were ropes all around Hoseok’s torso, crisscrossing in different ways, and going down to his pants. However, the ropes were too tight, irritating and breaking the skin into little cuts. “Master likes to play sexual games. He believes it’s fun to integrate pain into sexual pleasure, but everything is my pain and all the enjoyment is his. Ever been fucked by a room full of men and strangers? When it isn’t even painful anymore, and you just become numb from all of it? They say hybrids are good for sex, maybe that’s true because that’s the only thing I’ll ever be used for.” Taehyung closed his eyes upon hearing Hoseok’s story and what happened to all the other hybrids made him feel sick. He felt bile rose up in the back of throat and he needed some air, desperately. Taehyung saw another door in the back room that would lead him outside, he excused himself from the hybrid and stumbled towards the door. He opens the door and stumbled outside, swallowing in lungfuls of air.  Tears threatened to fall from his eyes from the pain of knowing the reality of what their kind suffered through. He and Jimin, they were the lucky ones. The lucky few. “We meet again, kitten,” a voice spoke, an all too familiar voice that he thought he had already been saved from. —  Rounding the corner was that man who assaulted him that night in the alley when Yoongi saved him. That night seemed so far away, but here he was being transported back to that night. A set of stupid decisions led him there, and now, here he was again.  “I missed you, you know. It’s hard to forget about you when you’ve left such a permanent mark on me,” the man said, touching his right cheek that now had several scars from Taehyung’s scratch that night.  Taehyung backed away, and then he ran towards the door but the man ran, blocking his way in. “No escapes this time, kitten.”“Please, let me go inside,” Taehyung replied.“Why would I? So you can scream for help from your new owner? That fucking Min Yoongi who stole you away from me?!” The man shouted, and then spat on the ground.“Yeah, if you hurt me, Min Yoongi will kill you. I am his now, I am under his protection, you can’t hurt me. He will make you suffer if he finds out that you did something to me, he’ll be very angry. So just let me go.” Taehyung said, his voice low and threatening, trying to reason with him. The man laughed boisterously, “Ooooh, scary! But where is Min Yoongi, right now? He’s not here, is he? No one’s coming to protect you. I want to fucking hurt you, mark your pretty face up just like you did mine.” The man started to come closer and Taehyung was backed up against another warehouse’s wall. When the man was close enough, he brought his knee up and kneed the man in the groin. The man doubled over and Taehyung attempted to run away, but the man stomped on Taehyung’s tail causing him to scream and fall over. The man pulled out a switchblade from his pocket and hovered over Taehyung. He traced the outline of Taehyung’s face with the blade of his knife, then ever so slightly dug it deeper into his skin causing blood to seep out of the cut. Taehyung closed his eyes at the pain. Yoongi! Where is Yoongi? Yoongi swore to protect me. Please, please help me. I’m begging you. Yoongi, please! Anyone, please help me!  “You annoying fucking piece of shit!” And just like that, like someone had heard his prayers, the man was thrown off of him. —  Taehyung sat up and saw Yoongi fighting the man. Yoongi’s eyes were blazing with anger, he hit ferociously and grappled with the man. Yoongi had to swerve away from the knife, he didn’t have any weapons so he had to be wise. He couldn’t come too close, the man had the advantage. The man got Yoongi cornered and got a punch in. Yoongi screamed in pain, the man lifted the knife but Yoongi grabbed his wrists stopping him from plunging the knife deep in his chest. It was now a test of strength as they tried to overpower one another. Yoongi then used his leg to kick the man on the shin, the man doubled over and Yoongi ran away but then the man suddenly swung his knife, slashing Yoongi’s side. Taehyung screamed, he didn’t know what to do or how to help. He watched as the blood slowly seeped out of Yoongi’s side but Yoongi was determined. Despite his wounds, he grappled the man to the ground and started to choke him until the man’s face was becoming blue and he was forced to let go of the knife. Yoongi hastily grabs and points it threateningly towards the man’s neck.“You do not touch what’s mine! I’ll fucking cut you! I’ll fucking kill you and rip your fucking neck apart!” Yoongi screamed, his veins popped and his eyes were filled with rage.Taehyung crawled near Yoongi but Taehyung couldn’t seem to get through the man, “Yoongi, Yoongi—” Yet, Yoongi still screamed in anger, digging the blade deeper into the man’s skin, until another voice spoke.  “Min Yoongi, let him go.” It was Kim Seokjin. He stood there watching, calmly surveying the scene.“This your man, right? This fucking piece of shit?” Yoongi asked.“Precisely. That’s why I’m asking you to let him go.” Seokjin said.“But he touched what’s mine, he doesn’t deserve to live.” Yoongi growled, inching the blade deeper, making the man cry out in pain.“If you kill him, it’s a declaration of war.”“What?” Yoongi frowned, looking at Kim Seokjin.“You heard me. It’s declaration of war. You don’t want that, do you, Min Yoongi? Not when you’re only starting to gain so much power. It’s a bad time to engage in a war. You don’t know what side the other men will choose, and besides, no one truly wins in a war.”“He hurt my hybrid,” Yoongi growled again.“And I’ll make sure he never does that again. I’ll deal with my own men.”  Yoongi considered it for a moment, then he stood up, threw the switchblade far away and walked over to where Taehyung was. The man crawled over to Kim Seokjin but Kim Seokjin only motioned for the man to go away, not sparing him another glance. Yoongi helped Taehyung up and placed an arm around his waist, he turns to Seokjin and says, “Make sure he is dealt with accordingly.”Seokjin bowed, “Of course, I apologize for what has happened.”Yoongi only moved forward, pulling Taehyung with him. “Next time, I won’t be so kind, remember that.” As Taehyung walked past Seokjin, the man cleared his throat and Taehyung looked towards him. Kim Seokjin was looking at him again with those piercing eyes. “It was nice to meet you. I’m sure we’ll meet each other again,” he says with his ominous smile. — “Why wont you go to a hospital?” Taehyung yelled at Yoongi once they entered the house.Yoongi went straight to his room, saying, “Ever heard of a mafia going to a hospital? No, you havent.” Yoongi was about to close the door but Taehyung blocked him, his eyes were only full of worry for the other man, “You’re wounded, please. If you don’t want to go to a doctor or to a hospital, at least let me help.”Yoongi groaned and said, “Fine. Close the door, then get the first aid from the bathroom.” Taehyung did as he said and took the box that contained antiseptic and bandages with him, he came back into the room and discovered Yoongi sitting on the bed with his shirt off. Taehyung sat down on the floor in front of him and took out the supplies, but Yoongi reached out a hand and said, “Hand me an antiseptic wipe.”Taehyung stopped and looked at him, “Huh, why? I can do it for you.”“Stop asking questions and give me one.”Taehyung handed him one and Yoongi opened the package, then he clutched Taehyung’s face and he started dabbing the wipe on Taehyung’s cut. “Yoongi—”“Shh, it’s okay. My cut was a small one and I don’t even need stitches, it can wait. I just— Please let me do this.” Yoongi whispered.Taehyung looked at Yoongi’s wound, it is indeed small and then he looked up at Yoongi’s eyes, seeing nothing but concern for him. Taehyung bit his lips and leaned into Yoongi’s touch while his other hand cleaned his wound. When Yoongi was done, Taehyung smiled and said, “Thank you for saving me yet again.”Yoongi closed his eyes and breathed deeply. When he opened them again, there were unshed tears in them. “Please, I barely saved you. If only I— if only I had gotten there sooner…”“No, no, baby, you get there in time. Now please, let me clean you up, okay?” Taehyung said, Yoongi sighed and nodded. Taehyung, still kneeling on the floor, took another wipe and started to dab it on Yoongi’s wound. Yoongi hissed at the sharp pain of the alcohol, and Taehyung whispered an apology.“It’s okay,” he whispered back, placing a hand on Taehyung’s head and patting his ears and his head. There it was again, the comforting feeling of Yoongi’s hand on him that he loved. He finished his job by covering Yoongi’s wound in bandages, Yoongi was about to stand up but then Taehyung held him back by wrapping his arms around the man, careful not to touch his wound.“Taehyung—“ Yoongi said in surprise.“Shhh, can you let me stay like this just for a moment?” Taehyung whispered placing his head on the crook of Yoongi’s neck. “You kept your word, you protected me.”“I did, it’s what I promised isn’t it? My duty to you?”“Is that all that I am? Your duty?” Taehyung asked. There were a few beats of silences before Yoongi answered again, “W—when I saw that he hurting you… God, I blacked out, I was so angry, so fucking angry. I wanted to kill him, if only Seokjin didn’t interfere. So no, Taehyung, it wasn’t about duty. I really wanted to protect you— no, I needed to protect you.” Taehyung wrapped his arms around the man’s shoulder, and they looked into each other’s eyes as Yoongi spoke. Then a tear fell from Taehyung’s eye and he smiled then leaned in and closed the distance between them. It was the first kiss they’ve ever shared. It was sweet and slow, savoring each other’s tastes. There was no need to rush and they absolutely didn’t. Taehyung explored Yoongi’s mouth and playfully bit his lips, eliciting a laugh from the other man. He went lower, kissing the man’s jaw and then his neck, softly nibbling on his soft skin, not letting his sharp fangs pierce his pale perfection. He trailed his tongue over the lines of his neck and down his chest, making Yoongi sigh out in pleasure. Yoongi’s hand was on Taehyung’s head guiding him. Taehyung licked a stripe up the man’s chest and down again, noticing the tatto o of two twin dragons on his hipbone. Taehyung kissed the black tattoo, then he touched the edge of Yoongi’s pants, looking up at the man for permission.“Y—you don’t have to,” Yoongi replied.“But I want to,” Taehyung answered, a small, sincere smile on his face. Taehyung unbuckled Yoongi’s belt and pulled down the zipper with his teeth. Yoongi wore a pair of black, silk boxers with the cloth outlining his hardness. Taehyung pushed Yoongi down on the bed and he slowly kissed his erection through the smoothness of the cloth, he ran his tongue around its length and sucked the tip of his cock through his boxers, making Yoongi suck in a sharp breath. Taehyung pulled Yoongi’s boxers down and fully removed them along with his pants throwing them somewhere across the room. Taehyung maintained eyes contact as his tongue met Yoongi’s bare skin, kissing around his erection, until finally he takes Yoongi’s cock into his hands and puts his mouth over the tip of his hardness, slowly sucking him in. Taehyung bobbed his head up and down, slowly savoring the taste of Yoongi in his mouth. He went down on him until he felt Yoongi’s cock hit the back of his throat. Taehyung licked up the precum that leaked from his tip, appreciating its taste. He loved every single moan and the short, stuttered breaths that came out of Yoongi’s mouth. When Yoongi was about to come, he placed a hand on top of Taehyung’s head asking him to stop.“Why?” Taehyung asked?“Lay down on the bed.”Taehyung did as he was told, laying down comfortably on the bed. Yoongi hovered above him and then leaned in to kiss him. Yoongi placed a hand on his collar then looked at Taehyung, “Is this okay?” He asked. Taehyung smiled and nodded. Yoongi really was different from the others. He had always wondered if he’d ever find someone who would respect him, despite him being a hybrid. Has he found the one? Yoongi slowly unbuttoned his shirt and kissed all the bare skin that was revealed. He was gentle, so, so gentle that it almost made Taehyung cry. Yoongi swirled his tongue around Taehyung’s nipples, nipping at the sensitive bud without inflicting any pain and Taehyung threw his head back in pleasure. Yoongi asked permission again once he made his way to Taehyung’s pants, and Taehyung gratefully let him. Yoongi took a bottle from the bedside table and then he slipped down Taehyung’s pants. Yoongi pushed Taehyung’s legs apart, revealing his erection and his ass. Taehyung yelped in surprise, as he felt Yoongi move his tail, spread him apart and licked his entrance. Yoongi smirked and let out a chuckle at the younger man’s response. Yoongi bet down again and swirled his tongue around Taehyung’s entrance making the younger shiver and mewl. He enters his tongue inside Taehyung’s hole while a hand made its way around his leg to wrap a hand around Taehyung’s neglected cock.“Yoongi, Yoongi… please,” Taehyung moaned.“Please what?” Yoongi asked, meeting the man’s eyes.“Please… more.”Yoongi propped open the bottle of lube and coated his fingers with it, observing Taehyung who was impatiently waiting for him. He spread Taehyung’s ass cheeks apart and spread the lube around before experimentally prodding around his entrance. Yoongi pushed his whole finger in and started to pump it in and out of him. Taehyung was tight and wet… and he soon wanted more. Yoongi pushed another finger in, and then one more, crooking it slightly to hit all the rights spots. Taehyung was moaning his name, squirming on the bed, breathless, “Yoongi… want you… I want you.”Yoongi took out his fingers and leaned over to give Taehyung another kiss on the lips. “Okay, baby.”He positioned himself over Taehyung’s entrance but Taehyung sat up and placed a hand on Yoongi’s chest to stop him.“No, no,” Taehyung shook his head, “Not like this.”Taehyung closed the distance between them and then pushed Yoongi’s chest so that he was the one laying down on the bed. Taehyung climbed over him, a hand around Yoongi’s cock and he positioned it on his entrance. Taehyung slowly sinks down onto Yoongi’s cock, groaning, feeling himself be filled up by Yoongi’s length. Taehyung started to ride him, rocking his hips, sinking up and down. Yoongi moaned out his name as Taehyung sped up his pace. Taehyung placed his hands down on Yoongi’s chest, mindful of his wound, and Yoongi placed both of his hands on both sides of Taehyung’s waist, nails digging down on his soft skin. Taehyung hastened his pace and Yoongi helped him move, becoming even more out of breath with each second. The air was filled with the scent of sex, with the sounds of moans and an air of pleasure. Soon, Yoongi reached his orgasm, coming inside Taehyung, and Yoongi wrapped a hand around Taehyung’s cock, jerking him off until Taehyung came onto his stomach. Taehyung fell on top of Yoongi, breathless. Yoong laughed kissing the crown of his head and the fur of his ears. Taehyung leans up and all Yoongi could see was his beautiful grey eyes, the first thing that enchanted him when he saved him that one fateful night and has continued to enchant him everyday since. Taehyung nuzzled into the crook of Yoongi’s neck, feeling content despite all that has happened. Taehyung’s life had always been dangerous, but now, maybe he doesn’t have to face that danger alone. There’s still a lot to go but he decided to face the coming days not in the palettes of black, dark red and dark blues, but with something brighter — maybe even with the color of hope.
Maybe this wasn’t so bad after all.
