“Hey, pretty.”Plush lips press to the side of his neck and strong arms wrap around his waist, squeezing him against a solid, warm body.Seokjin gasps and indulges in Namjoon’s embrace for a blink before his brain starts working again. No. He can’t give in to the buzz rising in his veins, he must resist. He yelps and drops the items in his hands on the kitchen counter, shaking his body to remove Namjoon’s grasp.“Hands off, Joon!” Seokjin turns around and points at Namjoon with an accusatory finger. “We made a promise, remember?”Namjoon’s laugh is low but rises in a whine at the end. “But Jiiin, it’s been so long… Don’t you think it’s a little bit too much?”Namjoon takes a step closer and grabs the hand Seokjin still has hanging between them. He takes yet another step and their hands are trapped between their chests.“I miss you,” Namjoon mutters in that goddamned low voice of his, his eyes trained on Seokjin’s lips.Seokjin feels heat crawling up his neck and something in his guts twists. God, Namjoon has such an effect on him. He sighs, lowering his head, unable to stand his ground if he keeps looking at his lover.Or well, not-at-the-moment lover, kinda-boyfriend, partner.“Joonie…”How long has it been? The time factor of their relationship is kind of funny. It hasn’t been that long since they’ve known each other, but all they’ve been through together makes it feel like an entire lifetime. The bond they’ve formed makes time irrelevant. It’s been a little more than a month since they’re both the owners of their lives again, and he can say without a hint of a doubt that it’s been the best time of his life. Seokjin hasn’t been counting the days, but it’s been a while already since they’ve been living like nothing more than two young men in love. Some days, Seokjin can’t believe this is his life, a dream he didn’t even dare to dream come true.It was as perfect as life can go, they had it all. But then a week ago, they had the greatest of ideas. In their defense, it was in order to become even more proper young men in love.
Fucking hell.
Seokjin sighs again trying to suffocate the rush of his magic at the mere thought of his life a week ago. He misses it so much. He’s so damn hungry. And Namjoon being so close and horny doesn’t help at all, so he pushes him away and goes back to the root he was peeling.“It’s been h-hardly a week.” An arduous, painful week. “A-and it ends tonight anyway, so stop whining.” If his voice wasn’t so shaky, he might have sounded stern.Namjoon whines again but doesn’t argue further. “Okay then. See you at five.”“Wait!” Seokjin turns around to watch Namjoon walking out of the kitchen. “You’re leaving already?”Namjoon stops by the arched entrance and shrugs. “Well, since you don’t want me here…”“Joon—”Namjoon’s lips curl on a smirk. “I know. There are some last-minute things I have to take care of for our… you know,” he tilts his head, dimple in sight, “date. See you later, love.” He sends him a flying kiss and laughs shyly afterwards, making Seokjin’s heart absolutely melt.“See you—”Namjoon is gone in a blink, forgoing the portal because he’s that good. Seokjin suddenly feels like squealing. He never was a magic nerd before, but Namjoon makes him one. The things he can do are kinda sexy. Everything about Namjoon is.Seokjin sighs a third time and curses the moment he thought that that promise was a good idea.It all began with an insidious comment from Yoongi about them being practically married and about to adopt a puppy.“We don’t need a puppy, we already have a moody cat,” Namjoon retorted but was unable to deny the domesticity of their relationship. In all honesty, it’s not their fault. If they’ve been most of this month talking budget, painting, putting together furniture and watering plants back to life, that’s on Hoseok. Anyways, the comment triggered in Namjoon the realization that although they’re a solid couple and they’ve gone out together plenty of times, it’s been just to buy groceries, or lamps, or fucking fertilizer. They’ve never been on a date, like, a Date date. The realization quickly prompted him to formally ask Seokjin out. It’s silly, it’s not like they need to be on a date to be a proper couple. They already love each other and share a life together, but it’s something so… pure, to put it somehow. And it’s something neither of them has ever had. A silly little thing they can experience for the first time together. However, and since Namjoon asked him out with his dick deep down Seokjin’s throat, they can’t have the first date a normal couple would have. And that’s why, after swallowing every last drop of Namjoon’s orgasm—the last he’d have—Seokjin accepted on one condition. “Let’s play a game of sorts”, to make it more realistic. What a fucking idiot.Seokjin finishes cutting the ginger and throws it in the blender along with several other ingredients he put together after reading hundreds of energy smoothies’ recipes. He presses the start button, and when the blender contents are nothing more than an unattractive, mud colored pulp, he puts it in a tall glass. He hesitates just a little before he adds half a can of the Redbull he bought especially for this smoothie.Seokjin walks to the other end of the house, glass in hand, going through the arguments he’s about to deliver if his proposal is denied, which is the most likely scenario. He knocks on the door just once before he barges into Yoongi’s room, and in his most enthusiastic tone, announces: “Good morning, sunshine, you’re coming to town with me today!”But there’s no Yoongi to listen.Seokjin loses part of his enthusiasm in the walk to the dock. What can he say? Hunger makes him moody.“Drink this, we’re going out.” He hands Yoongi the glass and sits by his side, taking off his shoes to dip his feet in the water to mirror the half-sandman’s pose.Yoongi smells the concoction and frowns at him. “We are out.”“I mean out of the house, to the city, where there are people, and pollution, and noise.” Seokjin clarifies and as Yoongi opens his mouth to protest, he adds: “I need you as a friend today, and you can’t say no, or I’ll hate you forever. Besides, it will do you good, you’ve been holed up in this house for a month and that can’t be healthy.”If he didn’t know the Yoongi of the Dream Realm, his apparent indifference would be really intimidating, but Seokjin knows better. Yoongi’s face is blank, but his eyes are smiling.“You need me… as a friend?” Yoongi drawls and takes a sip of the smoothie. He doesn’t flinch at the taste, so it’s a win.“You know Namjoonie and I have a date tonight, right?”“As if you’d talked about anything else since he asked you.” Yoongi rolls his eyes and takes a bigger gulp. “What’s this by the way?”“You don’t want to know, believe me.” Seokjin pats Yoongi’s back a few times. “It shouldn’t kill you. Although the Redbull—”“You need me for what,” Yoongi interrupts his babbling.“Oh, yeah. I want you to help me pick an outfit for tonight.” He smiles brightly at Yoongi’s arched eyebrow.“You want me for fucking fashion advice? Seriously? I’ve been wearing the same t-shirt for months now—”“And it’s falling apart, you should get a new— Oh! We can get a new one today,” he says as if he hadn’t been planning it all along.“I’ve no money.” Yoongi gives him back the empty glass.“Well, I have.” Seokjin knows Yoongi already accepted.“You mean Hoseok has.” He just likes to make it difficult.“Same thing. He gave it to us.” Seokjin shrugs.“You have no shame.” Yoongi shakes his head. “You really gonna make Hoseok your new sug—”“Okay, that’s it. Do you really want me to say the real reason out loud?” This shuts Yoongi up effectively. “It’ll do you good, trust me.”Yoongi’s been hanging on a dangerously thin thread since Jimin left, and it’s been even worse lately, since he can’t sleep in peace. He has tried to fix himself a couple of times and it has ended frankly atrociously. They don’t know what the problem is exactly, Yoongi refuses to thoroughly explain the situation to them, because he says it’s safer for them if they don’t know, but if there’s one thing Seokjin knows for sure is that they can’t just sit there and do nothing. Sadly, there’s little they can do to help Yoongi heal his broken heart, except being there for him when he needs them. If Seokjin knew where the fuck Jimin is, he would drag him from the hair back to Yoongi for at least an explanation. But alas.Pulling Yoongi out of his own head for a while is the most he can do.“Let’s go, I’ll call us a taxi.” Seokjin stands up and offers Yoongi a hand, and he takes it but still whines through a pout the whole way into the house. * “Should I go for casual or something more elegant? It’s a suit or Bermudas, no in between. Yoongi, are you awake?” Seokjin puts back yet another set of shirts back to their racks.“Fuck, Jin, I don’t know what you want me to say. You’d look good even in a potato bag, so it’s not like it matters.” Yoongi sits straight and fixes him with a glare.“Not like it matters? It’s our first date!”Yoongi huffs. “You made heart shaped pancakes for him this morning, what the hell are you talking about?”“Yoongi!”“Okay, okay.” Yoongi pinches the bridge of his nose. “What do you want to accomplish with the outfit?”“I want him to… like me,” he mutters barely audibly.Yoongi sighs tiredly.“Dress like yourself, then. He’s madly in love with you.” Yoongi stands up from the stool he’d been sitting in and takes a random shirt from a rack by his side. “Here, try this one. I’ll go buy us something to eat.”“But—” Seokjin takes the hanger Yoongi is offering and watches him go. Dress like yourself. “What does that mean?”He has always dressed with a purpose, to give a particular impression, or to please whoever was paying him. Before he was arrested, his closet was 70% percent silk shirts and fancy suits, 20% lingerie, and the rest was oversized hoodies and joggers he wore whenever he was at home. Was that himself? Plain t-shirts and basketball shorts? He’s wearing exactly that right now, but. He can’t go on a date in sport wear, right? It’s really comfy, but he looks like shit. His work clothes, as he used to call them, always made him feel pretty. He likes looking pretty. He’s after an outfit that gets a reaction from Namjoon, but he’s not sure if he wants to do that with an expensive look.Namjoon doesn’t like that, does he?Namjoon wouldn’t like Seokjin dressing just to please him. He’d say something like… dress for yourself. Seokjin rolls his eyes. Just a change in preposition from his shopping mate’s statement. He looks at the shirt Yoongi gave him. It’s a white, thin t-shirt, plain except for a sort of flowery pattern around the low-cut neck. It’s a size bigger than his actual size, so it’d make his waist look great if he tucked it in some high-waisted jeans…Okay, he might be onto something. * Yoongi takes his sweet time buying food. Seokjin buys all the things he deems necessary and sits outside the shop to wait for Yoongi. He’s already fearing that Yoongi might have had one of his sudden slumbers in the line to pay for the food or something when he appears around the corner, waddling in what would be a fast pace by his standards.“Where were you? I was about to call you through the speakers like a lost child.”“I saw you entering a lingerie shop and I thought nope, he doesn’t need me there. So, I wandered around a little and then got entertained looking at socks. I bought some, too, look.” Yoongi shows him a little bag with some striped socks. “Also, I brought you fried chicken.”Seokjin opens the box with the chicken Yoongi puts on his lap and narrows his eyes at the half-sandman. He’s smiling suspiciously broadly. Yoongi’s been sulking for weeks, now he seems kind of… excited. Why?“The Redbull worked quite well, uh?”“Actually, yes. The drop will be not funny at all, but that’s a problem for future Yoongi, right?” Yoongi sits by his side and smiles at him innocently.“Right,” Seokjin is still suspicious, but hey, the point was to lighten up Yoongi’s mood, and he does seem lighter, whatever the reason. As Yoongi starts inspecting the bags, he comments, mouth full of chicken: “There are some things for you, too. So, we can finally burn that fucking t-shirt and those useless pants full of holes.”“Hey, there’s no need to be so violent.” Yoongi frowns but he’s laughing softly.“I don’t understand how you can wear the same stuff you wore on that place.” He had made a whole ritual of burning the clothes he wore for six months in The Well to get rid of at least a small piece of the awful experience. Namjoon joined him, he also held Seokjin tight when the tears refused to stop. Yoongi shrugs unaffectedly. “Is there anything else you need to buy?”“Oh, yeah, a gallon of peach flavored lube.” He laughs loudly at Yoongi’s instant scowl. “I’m joking, let’s go home.” * At four o’clock, Seokjin is ready to go.They bought more chicken for Yoongi in case he wakes up hungry while he and Namjoon are gone, but he was out like a light the moment they put a foot inside the house, so he’ll probably sleep until tomorrow.Yoongi insists on him not being their child, but neither he nor Namjoon mind taking care of him. Today when Seokjin helped him get into his room, Yoongi hugged him out of the blue and thanked him. Seokjin was almost scared, but a lot more touched. Yoongi is brooding most of the time, but he also has a sweet side that he shows very rarely. He even wished him good luck with the date.“Cute.” Seokjin breathes out a little laugh and takes what’s surely his millionth look in the mirror. His smile drops immediately.Objectively, he looks good. More than good, actually. Still, he can’t help but feel self-conscious.Maybe it’s too much? Too flashy. He won’t go unnoticed, but he would attract attention no matter what he wears. He can handle that, he is not concerned with what other people think about him. What worries him is Namjoon. Would he mind the attention? He’s never said anything when they’ve been at the supermarket and some stranger tries to strike a conversation with Seokjin when he’s gone for a while, he never minds the cashiers’ heart eyes directed at Seokjin, or the sly smiles here and there. Perhaps he doesn’t notice. There’s no way he won’t notice whatever happens now that Seokjin actually dressed up. Besides, they’ll be on a date, it makes everything different, right? Another thing that worries Seokjin is if he dressed adequately or not. Namjoon didn’t specify what kind of date this is going to be. “Leave it to me”, he said, no hint whatsoever. Seokjin is sure Namjoon won’t choose a high-ended place, so he went for a casual outfit: high-waisted short shorts and the loose t-shirt Yoongi chose. It’s a good pick, he thinks, he looks good. He’s wearing sandals, because it’s summer, and he refuses to wear anything else on his feet. He also put on some light make up, just to highlight his features. His hair is swept back, so it doesn’t get on his eyes. He's comfortable and he feels pretty, that’s about all he can ask of an outfit. He debated around ten minutes whether to get a choker or not. In the end, he didn’t. He’s going for innocently provocative more than downright slutty. With the neck of the t-shirt being so loose that it lets a lot of his collarbones visible, the choker would’ve been too much. Besides, it’s all about details. Namjoon likes his neck and all bare like this, maybe he’ll like it even more.He does one last once-over at his reflection in the hall mirror and applies yet another layer of peach flavored lip balm before he deems himself more than ready.“You’re gorgeous.” He nods at himself reassuringly and opens the door. * The taxi leaves him a couple of blocks away from the meeting point.Seokjin wishes he had worn sunglasses or a cap. Not that the sun is bothersome, weather is fine: hot enough to justify his wearing shorts but not suffocating to make him sweaty. And it’s not about illumination, either. It’s just that he doesn’t know where to put his eyes.He had forgotten how much attention he can draw when he really works on his appearance. After so long, it’s making him kind of squirmish. This people are quite bolder than what he’s used to. The heads turning, the faint whispers, the sparks of want he raises in people are all unwanted yet not entirely unwelcomed. His magic is preening, it loves the attention, it revels on it, urging him to let it out, so the reaction can multiply tenfold. He won’t do that, but he can’t deny that it’s his magic what gives him the courage to keep his chin up and walk like he owns the place. He might not want the attention, but since he already has it, he can’t crouch under its weight. That’s been his attitude his whole life. He’s never been able to distinguish where his magic ends and his own personality starts, but in moments like this, he’s thankful of his incubus nature. He keeps walking along the cobblestoned boulevard, avoiding visual contact unless someone’s feeling brave enough to approach, in which case just a cold glance is necessary to discourage them. Namjoon should be here already, Seokjin is a little early, but—Namjoon sees him first. Seokjin feels his eyes on him and he’s only capable of finding him in the crowd thanks to the burst of lust he wakes in him. Seokjin is used to that energy by now, knows it like the back of his hand, would follow it no matter what.Among all the other people in the boulevard, Namjoon’s energy is the brightest and it calls not only his magic but also him, Kim Seokjin, that’s how he knows it’s not just his magic gloating over the conquest. Namjoon has a spell on him that Seokjin’s own magic could never create.A smile curls his lips when he finally sees Namjoon. He looks out of place surrounded by beach-goers and linen wearing people. Propped on a car, with arms and legs crossed, wearing black from head to toe. He’s on a loose tank top, ripped skinny jeans and boots. His hair is tied in a loose bun, and he’s wearing black sunglasses. All of that paired with the several silver rings and studs in his ears, the septum piercing and the ink in his upper body could have made him seem intimidating, if it wasn’t for the warm smile lighting up his face, showing his true nature. At least in Seokjin’s eyes. The weary looks some passers-by are throwing him might disagree.Seokjin can’t help a giggle.“Hi, handsome.” He stops right in front of Namjoon, at reach but not quite, like daring Namjoon to drag him into his arms like Seokjin knows he wants. “Been waiting for too long?”“I just arrived.” Namjoon shrugs feigning casualty.Seokjin laughs, sneaking a once-over at his date. Handsome, indeed. Seokjin licks his lips subconsciously as he drags his eyes over the extension of Namjoon’s legs cladded in dark fabric. Those pants are definitely going to be hard to take off, but damn, do they look good—“You didn’t run in the opposite direction.”Seokjin looks up just in time to see Namjoon taking off the glasses and arching an eyebrow crossed by a silver barbell. It matches the glint in his eyes, Seokjin has to swallow a squeal. “W-what?”“You once said you didn’t dig the goth aesthetic. Although, I’m, like, barely there—”“Joonie.” Seokjin leans in, ready to shut Namjoon up with a kiss but ends up patting his chest. “It’s safe to say that I’ve changed my mind.”Namjoon breaths out a laugh and finally wraps an arm around his waist gathering him a little closer.“We look like day and night,” Namjoon says in a hushed voice, close to his ear, before he presses a kiss to his temple and pulls back.Seokjin blinks away from Namjoon’s lips and takes a deep breath to tame the flutter of his heart. He’s weak for Namjoon’s… well, everything, but his voice is definitely on the top three.“T-that’s cool, though.” Seokjin takes a step back, escaping from temptation. “It gives us character as a couple.”“Yeah.” Namjoon smiles and pushes away from the car, prompting Seokjin to follow him with a gesture of his hand. “I rented this car for our date.” Namjoon opens the copilot door for him.“What a gentleman, thanks,” he jokingly purrs as he gets in the car.Namjoon closes the door and quickly walks around to take the driver’s seat.“Since my driving skills are far from decent, I asked for the most automatic car they had.” Namjoon laughs and throws an apologetic glance at him. “We’re going out of town, so it’s necessary… The car, I mean.”“Oh?”“Yeah, um, it’s— The place we’re going to is kind of a risky choice for a first date.” Namjoon laughs again rather shyly. “Well, I don’t know much about these things, but I thought the classic candle lit dinner might be a bit boring.” He shrugs with one shoulder as he starts the car and enters the traffic. “And since we’re currently living in a quite interesting area, I thought it’d be cool if we explore it together.” Namjoon steals another quick glance at him and clears his throat, focusing again on the road. “It’s a bit nerdy really, we can change the route, if you get bored—”Seokjin can’t hold his laugh back any longer. Namjoon nervously ranting is too cute for this world.“Babe, I’m okay with anything you have in mind.” He winks when Namjoon looks at him with round eyes. “Can you give me some spoilers, though? The suspense is killing me.”“Um,” Namjoon smiles mysteriously, dimple digging deep in the cheek Seokjin can see. “The date was especially thought for you and it’s romantic but in an odd way.”Namjoon laughs at his indignant huff. “That just leaves me more curious!”“If my research is correct, this trip will make our love flourish.” Namjoon snorts. “I’m making it sound cheap. It’s not, I swear. It’s actually quite meaningful, you’ll see.”“Alright, I’ll trust you, but let me tell you,” Seokjin rolls his window all the way down, “if this was our first date for real, I’d be already having second thoughts.”“No!” Namjoon takes one hand off the wheel and searches for his. “Don’t. You’ll like it.” He smiles playfully at Seokjin’s pursed lips, that he can’t keep for long. Seokjin chuckles and looks away through the window, fitting his fingers between Namjoon’s.“We’ll see.”So far, it’s going great. * They take the highway, and after ten minutes of driving, Namjoon starts looking around like searching for signals.“I don’t want to imply anything, but are you sure where we’re going?” He wouldn’t mind at all if they got lost, he’s sure they’d have fun anyway. Besides, they’re always a portal away from home, but Namjoon is growing rather anxious.“Yes, I saw the map, a-and the car is, like, programmed to go in the right direction, it’s just that— Ah! There it is, yes.” Namjoon sighs in relief as the sea comes in sight again. “Okay.” He turns the radio volume down and fixes Seokjin with a serious look. “This date, or rather the places we’ll visit, need a bit of an introduction.”“Oh, this is getting good,” Seokjin bites his lips not to smile and turns his body towards Namjoon to physically show him he has all his attention.“Alright, so… I’ve been learning a lot about the area thanks to Mrs. Eleni.” Their lovely neighbor, a retired old lady, that has been teaching them Greek (Read them as Namjoon, Seokjin goes just for the pastries and Yoongi for the hammock). “Turns out this part of the island is particularly famous for its cult of the Greek goddess Aphrodite… Rings any bell?”“Well, half of the incubus-succubus brothels around the world are called Aphrodite. I guess it has something to do with us?” He never paid much attention to history classes, not that they talked about incubus history, anyway.“Indeed. She’s the Greek goddess of beauty and desire. Those who attribute deities’ existence to magic say that the goddess might have been one of the first of your kind. Those who are less radical say that the people that dedicated their lives to her cult are the ones responsible of shaping the magic that originated incubi and succubi as a race. In any case, she’s like your patron goddess.”Seokjin gasps. “For real? I feel disrespectful for having absolutely no idea about it.”“You know now.” Namjoon smiles at him right before he takes a turn and parks in the roadside. They get out of the car and walk into a small rocky beach where a bunch of tourists are taking pictures or playing in the water. It’s exactly like every other beach of the area, not the most exuberant but nice whatsoever. And there’s something in the air that makes his magic tingle tepidly. “This is Petra tou Romieu.” Namjoon points at a big, lonely boulder that enters the sea, nothing too special about it. “According to the myth, after Aphrodite was born out of the foam Uranus’ dick made when it fell to the sea, cut by his own father’s hand—”“His what?!”Namjoon snorts and dismisses the question with a shake of his hand. “Just what the myth says. Anyways, after Aphrodite was born in the sea, her feet touched land for the first time here, and that’s why the locals say that the water in this beach has, you know,” he wiggles his fingers a little, “special powers related to beauty and love.”“Oh? You think we need it?” Seokjin arches a questioning eyebrow at Namjoon.“You don’t need magical water to be prettier, love.” Namjoon winks.Seokjin stops their walk and hides his face behind his hands, flustered. Namjoon’s corny lines always get to him.“Shut up!” Namjoon just laughs quietly. They still dip their feet in the water. Seokjin makes fun of Namjoon for wearing boots to the beach all the time he’s taking them off. Namjoon takes his revenge by picking him up and threatening with throwing him in the water amidst Seokjin’s wails. In the end, Namjoon only sneaks a kiss to his cheek and patiently takes a splash from a disgruntled Seokjin.“Is my crush going to fall in love with me now?” Seokjin asks when they come out of the water.“Sure.” Namjoon is digging up small crabs from the shore. “Who’s the lucky bastard?”“Tell me yours and I tell you mine.” He puts his finger on Namjoon’s palm so the tiny creature crawls on his hand. He looks up when the crab is on his knuckles and finds Namjoon looking at him with a smile playing in his eyes.“Maybe I’ll tell you by the end of the date.” He winks again, but this time, Seokjin can’t tear his eyes from Namjoon’s silver ones. * It turns out that the beach wasn’t their final destination. After eating a popsicle, and buying some souvenirs, Namjoon drives them to a nearby temple built to honor Aphrodite. Thanks to the wonders of magic, what used to be just ruins is today a whole interactive experience. The original temple has been recreated to the last detail in a sort of very vivid mirage. “Third generation sandmen’s work,” Namjoon supplies. There are people dressed as if they’d been taken right out of a history book making guided tours and performing rituals and other customs of the period.Seokjin doesn’t understand shit of what’s being said, but Namjoon learned most of the things by heart in his research, so he kind of translates, makes a whole new tour for him. Seokjin has a smile about to break his lips the whole time. He’s never been a fan of museums and things like that, but Namjoon’s enthusiasm makes him genuinely interested and entertained. Also, he could listen to Namjoon’s voice all day, this date’s being a feast. And he swears he caught a glimpse of silver inside Namjoon’s mouth, but he doesn’t want to interrupt him to ask. He’ll find out later anyway, he’s really anticipating the moment. Namjoon stops mid phrase his explanation of a mosaic on the floor to turn to him and pin him to the spot with a worried frown.“I’m boring you, ain’t I?” Namjoon groans and hides his face in his hands. “Shit, I knew this was too nerdy.”“No!” Seokjin takes Namjoon’s hands and lowers them with a soft laugh and a quick peck on his lips. “I mean it is very nerdy, but it’s not boring.” At Namjoon’s eyeroll, he remarks: “It’s not!”Since Namjoon doesn’t seem at all convinced, Seokjin drags him to a close bench. He sits so he’s facing Namjoon, who keeps his head low and is seconds away from a pout.“You put a lot of thought and heart into this, and I really appreciate it. But I’m not a very cultured person, so I can’t, like, give properly articulated impressions.” Namjoon’s head springs up but before he can say anything, Seokjin continues. “What I want to say is that my silence is not out of boredom, believe me, I’m just… absorbing the knowledge. And admiring the view.” The temple’s and Namjoon’s.He laughs, but Namjoon sighs, still apologetic, and pinches the bridge of his nose. “I’m sorry, I overdid it. It’s just our first date—”“Joonie.” He tugs on Namjoon’s arm to make him stop talking. “You know this first date thing is just us playing normal, a step we were supposedly missing to be a… conventional couple, but we’re not, and I love that. At the end of the day, we’ll still come back home together to keep raising our precious twenty-six years old.” This makes Namjoon look at him with a breathed-out laugh. “You don’t have to impress me,” he presses a kiss to Namjoon’s cheek. “Although you already did it. I’m having fun, really.” He stands up and pulls Namjoon up with him. “Let’s go, we have a whole gallery left.”He starts walking, but Namjoon stops him, pulling him from their joined hands.“What’s wrong now?” Namjoon is just looking at him, silver eyes so gentle, shinning with something Seokjin has come to identify as love. “Joon…?”His heart skips a beat right before it takes off on a sprint when Namjoon cups his face with his free hand and leans in as if he were going to kiss him. Sadly, he stops a breath away from his lips.Seokjin can almost feel it, his lips tickle, the air that separates them buzzes, something in his veins begins to melt in anticipation. God, do it. It’s been a week. Seven days since the last time his breath was taken away by Namjoon’s kiss and he’s about ready to put an end to that fast.“Actually,” Namjoon takes a cruel step back, smirk painting in his face. “There’s another part of the temple I wanted to show you. It’s the most interesting part, I think.”Seokjin swallows the groan and follows Namjoon to the outskirts of the temple, trying to focus on what he’s saying rather than fantasizing about the moment they’re alone and done with this date thing.“In the old days, a festival in honor of Aphrodite was celebrated in this temple around mid-summer. The tradition didn’t survive, but the temple became a point of pilgrimage for incubi and succubi, particularly where we’re heading right now. It’s a fact that during the festivities, the priestesses and priests practiced magic that’s very alike to what’s part of your nature today, so it’s said that during the time of the year when the festival was celebrated, there’s an echo of that magic here that serves like a…” Namjoon looks around as if he was going to find the word he’s missing hanging in the air. “Let’s say battery charge? Incubi and succubi come from everywhere in the world and gather here to celebrate and bask in the mystic vibes. It’s not official, though. I think that’s the coolest part. It’s not an event sponsored by the temple, they just take the space for themselves and do their thing, and everyone has to clear the way, because it’s—”“Chaos,” Seokjin huffs a laugh. “I can imagine.”More than one of his kind in close proximity has only two possible ends, both are quite sticky.“Despite the yearly situation being quite problematic for the temple, they’ve done nothing to stop it because they know it’s part of the essence of the place. Actually, they welcome incubi and succubi throughout the year and have restored a fountain dating back to the times this temple was alive.”They reach it as he speaks. It’s not too big, but it has an imposing aura. Four posts hold a roof made entirely of morning-glory, guarding the pool from the sun. It’s no taller than Seokjin’s mid-calf and it’s beautifully decorated with ceramic mosaics that give the water a violet tonality. The prettiest feature of the fountain is a stone arch from which a curtain of water falls. It’s tall enough so a person can walk through it comfortably.“It’s supposed to be the symbolic image of an actual, natural place, where myth says Aphrodite bathed, but since it’s quite far from here, they built this sort of replica inside temple’s ground to perform cleansing rituals and the like. The point is that the water has the power of cleaning your magic as well as enhancing it. It’s like… an express magic spa, especially made for you,” Namjoon finishes with a short giggle as they bow their heads to the member of the temple staff that greets them.“Oddly romantic you said.” Namjoon shrugs and smiles shyly, eyes fixed on Seokjin’s reaction, as though he were still pending on Seokjin’s approval. “So, what am I supposed to do?”The two of them manage to decipher the instructions the staff member gives them. Seokjin has to leave his shoes and take off all the clothes he’s willing to. Ideally, he should do it in the nude, but he doesn’t feel comfortable enough with the girl right there and he has a secret to keep. So, he goes in with the shorts still on, Namjoon can dry them for him later.Seokjin looks back at Namjoon for a reassuring thumbs-up before he steps into the fountain. He’s never been one to believe in superstition, he would’ve played along anyway for Namjoon’s sake, but the truth is that there is, in fact, a special energy around the fountain, one that brings an edge of heat and a tingle under his skin. He gasps as his feet touch the unexpectedly cold water and tenses the rest of his body, preparing himself as he approaches the shower, but once he steps under the water, his muscles relax, and he lets out a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding. It’s lukewarm, but it’s not the temperature of the water what has him melting under the spray. As the water runs down his skin, it feels like it’s clearing literal mud out of it. Seokjin closes his eyes and turns his face up, so maybe the water hides the tears that escape a grip he’s held tight for years.Magic is a vital part of every entity graced with it and it’s deeply connected with their mind and soul. It can get influenced positively as well as it can be stained, and Seokjin’s magic has forever been his emotional dumpster. It’s been ages since he got over the disgust in people’s eyes, the names they call him, the labels they assign. He knows that it’s often born from ignorance, pettiness, short sight. He knows that there’s nothing wrong with him, but he has always failed to feel clean. He just accepted his bad reputation, sometimes even embraced it, never thought something different of his nature, and Namjoon… Namjoon knows it, he often had the same struggle. Here in Cyprus, they’ve realized that it can be so, so different. They don’t encounter hate on every corner, quite the contrary, actually, and it’s seeping into them little by little.Namjoon brought him here to further show him all the beauty attached to his nature, to help him counteract the ugliness that’s been drilled into his mind. He planned this for him, especially for him.If that’s not romantic, Seokjin doesn’t really want to find out what is. Maybe the water has some magical properties, but if you ask him, Namjoon’s love is the only thing he needs to feel pure.He steps out of the pool and receives the towel that’s given to him.“So?” Namjoon flicks his shorts a couple of times to dispel the water in them. “Is it true?”Seokjin gives back the towel to the staff member with a short bow and puts on his t-shirt before looking up at Namjoon’s eyes, shy all of a sudden. He knows the tips of his ears are reddening and his lips curve in a tiny smile. He tucks the t-shirt back into the pants very carefully and answers in a little voice: “Yes, I feel fresh as a watermelon.”Namjoon snorts. “A watermelon?”“Yes, a watermelon.” He blinks slowly, looking down, still smiling subtly. There’s no intention behind it, but he knows what that kind of gestures might conjure, and he doesn’t miss Namjoon’s gulp as the air around them tingles, filling with need. Of what? It’s kind of complex and undefined, but true and undeniable. Namjoon clears his throat and squares his shoulders.“Um, a-are you hungry?” Yes. “There’s a few places nearby, l-let’s see what we can get, yeah?”Ah, affected Namjoon is a favorite of his.“Sure.” He fits his hand against Namjoon’s and maybe the hairs on both their arms stand up at the contact. This date keeps getting better and better. * “Oh! Look at those cute tablecloths. We should get one of those for the kitchen table.”Nearby the temple, there are many restaurants and cafés. They’ve been walking around looking for one that catches their attention, and the checkered white and blue tablecloths covering the little tables outside the tavern they’re walking by definitely caught his attention.“They’re cute,” Namjoon agrees, but he’s looking at him with a little smile that makes him think that maybe he’s not talking about the damn tablecloths. Anyways, they stop. “Looks like they serve a little bit of everything, do you want to eat here?” Namjoon is carefully inspecting a board with the menu propped by the entrance.Since the sun is already low in the sky, the lights are on inside the tavern and through the windows they can see is packed. All kinds of people sit on the tables, from whole nuclear families, to elderly couples, groups of girlfriends and teenagers. The buzz of conversation and radio music give the restaurant a lively vibe. Altogether, the place looks homely and friendly.“Okay.” Seokjin changes his mind as soon as they set foot inside. It’s not like everyone quiets when they enter… but. Almost. He understands they look very foreign, and not only because of their faces. Namjoon looks fresh out of a metal concert and Seokjin…Well, Seokjin is Seokjin.Who is he trying to kid? There’s a table full of goth kids in a corner, Namjoon is alright. It’s him, it’s all him.“There are some tables outside, come on.” Namjoon squeezes his hand and walks them across the room towards a door that leads to a patio way less crowded than the inside.“Sorry about that,” he mutters when they seat.Namjoon tilts his head and frowns a little. “About what?”“Ah, nevermind.” He doesn’t know if Namjoon really didn’t notice or if he’s trying to brush it away. In any case, he prefers to let it pass. “Oh, look! There are candles.”Namjoon laughs at the tiny candle in a glass pot that lies inconspicuously in the middle of their table. “Should we light it?” The patio is nicely lit, not too bright nor entirely gloomy, perfect for an intimate atmosphere. The music from the inside gets here muffled and the few people occupying the outside tables are mostly couples, so there’s no loud talking. No one’s looking around either. His shoulders relax again, and he props his elbows on the table and his face on his hands.“I don’t know. Wouldn’t that make us too traditional?”Namjoon shrugs and looks at him with a lopsided smile. “Let’s risk it,” he says and flicks the candle lit.“Oh, mister sorcerer, that was so cool.” Namjoon laughs covering his mouth, dropping the cool façade, for his usual shyness, and god, Seokjin’s in love. When a waitress brings them the menu, they are easily ten minutes trying to decide what to order. In the end, they settle for a local dish and red wine. The service is fairly fast, so in no time they have steamy plates in front of them.“How is this called again?” Seokjin leans in a bit to smell the food. It’s a bit mysterious, the bowl is made of warm brown clay, so apart from the cheesy topping, they can’t see what’s inside.“Moussaka.” Namjoon dips the fork in and tries the food. “Mmm, ’s tasty.”“What’s it made of?” Seokjin cranes his neck to peer inside Namjoon’s plate.“Find out for yourself,” Namjoon says around a mouthful, covering his plate with his hand, so Seokjin can’t take a peak. “I have no idea, though.”“I’ll tell you.” Seokjin puts a big portion in his mouth and tries to discern every flavor in the layered dish. “Potatoes, meat, tomato sauce… Zucchini? No…”“Eggplant!” Namjoon chimes in.“Yeah. The white stuff, though…” Seokjin smiles as Namjoon scoops just a little of the soft cream that covers the moussaka with his fork and savors it, frowning puzzled. “We can always ask Mrs. Eleni tomorrow.”“And maybe ask for the recipe? I’m loving this.”Seokjin’s heart swells with endearment. He loves seeing how a little bit of himself has rubbed off on Namjoon, who used to have a “yeah, whatever fills your stomach” kind of attitude about food. Seokjin is all about the small pleasures of life and when it comes to food, you can’t be indifferent about it or you won’t enjoy it. He has taught Namjoon how to appreciate good cuisine and Namjoon is developing a taste for cooking, even though there’s always a little emergency going on whenever he’s in the kitchen. They’ve switched to domesticity so gracefully. After they arrived at the island, when everything settled, Seokjin was a little bit worried. People say that relationships that start in extreme situations never last, but Seokjin knew he never mistook love for adrenaline. He fell for Namjoon little by little over the course of two and a half months, so he wasn’t worried about his feelings vanishing all of a sudden. And he knew it was the same for Namjoon, after all, he is incapable of faking something he doesn’t feel. No, he thought that maybe after being all that time in an enclosed space with five other guys, not an ounce of privacy and in horrendous conditions, they wouldn’t be able to manage the good life, that when it were just the two of them, with no alarms blazing and no deadlines biting their asses, they wouldn’t know what to do, they wouldn’t have anything in common. Part of him also feared that Namjoon would realize there’s nothing too special about him, that he’s more trouble than anything else.Seokjin was afraid of being normal. And he had his reasons, the last time he could consider his life normal was before his magic manifested at twelve. However, what he wasn’t expecting was that it was the same for Namjoon. A normal life, a normal relationship was something new for both of them, a new adventure. They’ve bonded all over again over stupid things like figuring out how to make a dishwasher work, or how to properly take care of an ancient boiler. Or more serious stuff like dealing with a heartbroken Yoongi, or their own darkness coming back when they let their hearts get the blues. They are different in so many aspects, they’ve realized, but it’s not a problem because they share what matters, and they’re there when the other reaches for a hand.“Joonie.” Seokjin does just that, opens his palm in the space between them waiting for Namjoon’s hand to take it. And Namjoon does, almost out of reflex, and freezes with the fork about to dig into the plate again.“Shit, this is a date and I’m here stuffing my face.” Namjoon drops the fork, and Seokjin snorts as they watch it fall to the floor. Namjoon gasps dramatically. “And I forgot the wine,” he grabs the bottle and pours the rich red liquid in the glasses with a tad more enthusiasm than necessary, almost spilling it all over the table. “Sorry!”“Joon, calm down, it’s okay—”“You’ve barely touched your food, you didn’t like it? Ah, you expected something fancier, didn’t you? I just walked us into this shitty tavern—”“Namjoon.” His voice doesn’t rise, all the contrary, is just a hush imbued with magic to make Namjoon shut up and listen to him. “While I’m not repulsed by luxury, I’m perfectly fine without it, what do you think of me?” Seokjin laughs as his questions sends Namjoon into a whole new breakdown. “I know, I know you didn’t mean that. Now, don’t call the place shitty, I like the tablecloths and the food is good, we even have a candle and wine.”Namjoon uses his free hand to cover his eyes, he takes a deep breath and when he lowers his hand he seems more calmed. “Shall we make a toast?”“Okay, can I?” He raises his glass and waits for Namjoon’s nod and his glass to join Seokjin’s to clear his throat and rule out the amused smile that was curling his lips. “This date has been like— Like a dream come true. Call me dramatic, but I’m being honest. It’s been lovely, it’s been fun, it’s been odd, it’s been so… us.” He laughs a little. “That’s why I want you to stop worrying about trying to make it fit into something neither of us would be comfortable with. In the end, the purpose of a date is to bring people closer, and I don’t think we could do that through idle chatter and a frivolous dinner, dressed to the nines in a sleek restaurant. Showing that we care about each other, that’s the important part, and with this date, you’ve shown me exactly that. You’ve made me feel loved.” Seokjin bites his lip and smiles shyly. “I-I just hope I can make you feel the same way. So, to us and all the dates we’ll have in the future, even those no-dates that I love the most like going for groceries or having picnics at the dock or breakfast in bed. As long as we’re together, I know it’s going to be wonderful.”Namjoon’s been clenching his jaw all through Seokjin’s little speech, like wanting to interrupt but refraining. Now, there’s a soft blush dusting his cheeks. He clinks their glasses. “As long as we’re together.”Seokjin lets out in a chuckle all the nerves he’d been holding while speaking. He gulps half of the wine down and licks his lips before looking at Namjoon again. He’s smiling something barely there, his eyes glint with warmth. Seokjin wants to hide his face but he wants to keep burning under Namjoon’s loving gaze even more.“I feel like I should say something cheesy, too,” Namjoon says in a low voice.“Hey!”“I’ll go straight to the point, though… I love you.” As Seokjin drops his eyes and blushes, Namjoon laughs good-naturedly. “Why do you still fluster when I tell you that?!”“I-it’s only our first date, Namjoon. I thought you’d kiss me when you dropped me off my apartment door at most, and here you are, pulling the big guns.”Namjoon throws his head back laughing.“Well, I think I have many chances with you, so I’m quite confident,” Namjoon speaks through a smirk and Seokjin is seconds away from dropping every pretense of civility and crawling over the table to kiss him silly.“Are you calling me easy, Kim Namjoon?” He is, for Namjoon, he is.“No.” Namjoon’s hand wraps around Seokjin’s wrist and his thumb caresses the delicate skin of the inside of his arm. “I just feel safe enough to say it, because I know you love me back. You show it to me very subtly, I must say,” Namjoon laughs when Seokjin facepalms. “But I’m learning to pay attention to details, I’m not that oblivious anymore, don’t worry.”Seokjin feels his whole face reddening with how low Namjoon’s voice has got.“I want to kiss you so badly right now,” he tells his moussaka, since he doesn’t dare to look at Namjoon, civility’s wearing too thin.He hears Namjoon chair being pulled back and then a warm palm is cupping his cheek, turning his face up. Namjoon’s lips press on his for a couple of heavenly seconds before they’re gone again and Namjoon is back in his chair.“I didn’t mean that kind of innocent kiss, but okay, cool.” Seokjin nods and shrugs at Namjoon’s breathed out laugh.“I know, but we haven’t finished our moussakas, we can’t just skip to dessert.”Seokjin kicks Namjoon’s chin, outraged by the smirk he’s throwing at him. “Shut up then. Shut your face before I snap. Seriously, you show no consideration for the starving people—” He’s shut by a fork being presented to him full of food. He rolls his eyes as he chews and Namjoon once again laughs at him.“The sooner we finish…”But they don’t rush. The food is delicious, the wine is good. They plan their next outing: a beach date. Seokjin is trying to convince Namjoon of wearing a swimsuit when some sort of folk band starts playing inside the tavern. They come out to the patio and ask some people for a dance. Of course, they pick Seokjin and he doesn’t know enough Greek to say no, so he ends up embarrassing himself in front of all the patrons. Everyone claps and Namjoon cheers the loudest, so it’s okay. Someone in the band is the owner of the tavern and he gifts them a dessert and another bottle of wine for the good disposition. They share the “How is this called again?”, “Halva,” says the waitress with an amicable smile. Seriously, Greek names enter one of his ears and come right out the other. Anyways, it’s delicious and they say they’re going to ask Mrs. Eleni for the recipe, too. They take the bottle of wine home, though, or they’ll end up drunk and, well, they have plans for later, so no more wine. That mood has set between them, the anticipation for what is to come after waiting for so long.It was a good idea after all. He’s hungry but not severely so, it feels nice, will feel fucking fantastic when he finally feeds. He’s going to feast on Namjoon and judging by the thrill of want he can feel coming out of him, Namjoon knows it, he’s looking forward to it.As they wait in line to pay—because it’s the tavern’s system for some reason (they still sneaked a tip for the waitress where she could find it)—they notice that the family restaurant has turned into a proper tavern and is currently full of people in the process of getting drunk, which means bolder people, which means more openly lascivious attention on him. And he’s kind of turned on, so it’s worst. His magic doesn’t discern, it sends the signals for everyone to catch them, and Seokjin can’t help it. Looks he can stand, but if someone tries to hit on him, it could turn really awkward.A friend once said that Seokjin was like a Venus flytrap and the analogy always made him laugh, but not tonight. He’s not here for prey, so he hides his face in Namjoon’s chest as if not looking made the other people’s lust go away.Namjoon puts an arm around his shoulders right when the first fly stumbles closer. Seokjin can only imagine what kind of look Namjoon threw at the guy, because he turns on his heels and walks right back to his table.“Fucking rude, he was undressing you with his eyes,” Namjoon mutters somewhat annoyed as he gives a couple of bills to the cashier and receives a few coins in exchange. It shouldn’t be this hot, Namjoon’s annoyance, but damn, it’s right up his alley.“D-does it bother you?” he asks shyly as they walk to the car, parked a few blocks away.“Me? Well, if it makes you uncomfortable, of course.” Namjoon squeezes him a little to his side, since he never took his arm off his shoulders. “No—” His voice comes out too shaky for his liking, so he clears his throat and tries again: “I mean, not really. I don’t care about it. I can’t help it, so I’m used to it.”“Jin—”“No, really. I even like it sometimes,” he lets out a nervous laugh and looks at Namjoon apologetically. “I don’t want you to feel awkward with all the attention, though. I mean, if it was me— No, if I wasn’t me and I was with me, I wouldn’t like it, I think?”Namjoon shrugs dismissively. “Nah, I’m used to the heads turning.”“Yeah, but this is a bit different…” He doesn’t want to say it. It’s a bit stupid, but judging by Namjoon’s arched eyebrow as the silence lingers, he already understood.“Oh.” Namjoon’s lips curve on a smirk and Seokjin’s guts can’t help but squirm in sweet mortification. “You mean if it bothers me that everyone in the room had their eyes on you? If it makes me jealous?” Seokjin nods his head minutely and Namjoon’s breathes out a little laugh. “When you only have eyes for me? No, love, it doesn’t bother me at all.” Shit. “As long as you feel safe.”Seokjin just nods again, not trusting his voice to give a real answer. He feels breathless. There’s something underlaying in Namjoon’s statement that has every single part of him lightning on fire.Once they’re in the car, they sit in silence for a while with the seatbelts fastened; ready to go, but they remain still for some reason.“I can take care of myself, you know? I’m more dangerous than anyone in a situation like that.” Seokjin breathes out a laugh. “Still, it’s nice to know you have my back.”He reaches for Namjoon’s hand and finds it midway. Namjoon laces their fingers together and takes Seokjin’s hand to his lips, pressing a sweet kiss, a promise. Before Seokjin can absolutely melt, Namjoon gasps and lets his hand fall.“Oh, I almost forgot.” Namjoon starts rummaging through the car compartments, then assaults the pockets of his jacket to the moment forgotten in the backseat. “Here! I-I made something for you.”Namjoon hands him a little wooden box clearly worked to look smooth and shiny. It’s the same size as a ring box… Wait. Surely, Namjoon wouldn’t—“Oh! Don’t freak out, it’s not that!” Namjoon laughs, but it’s a nervous, hesitant thing. He closes his hand around the box. “Wait, w-were you expecting something like that?”“No, god no! It’s only our first date, what the fuck?” He laughs too, but he’s blushing, his ears feel like burning. The truth is that he wouldn’t have been mad…“Jin—”He doesn’t give Namjoon the chance to say anything else and embarrass both even further. “What is it then?” He snatches the box out of Namjoon’s hands, but doesn’t get to open it, because Namjoon stops him.“Wait, um.” Namjoon frowns at their hands, seemingly not knowing what to say.“This also needs an introduction?”Namjoon breathes out a laugh and covers his eyes with his free hand. “Yes, kinda. It’s um… a music box.”“Oh.”Music boxes are Namjoon’s thing. Every magic-user conceives magic differently, and in Namjoon’s case, he understands magic as a sound. In order to use his magic in everything around him, he figures the sound of things. And not just material objects, but also feelings, concepts, and even people. For magic that is more complex or needs to remain in time, some people make charms or write spells; Namjoon makes the boxes and puts the magic in the melody. Actually, the bomb that put him in jail was a twisted melody trapped inside a tiny music box winded to blow. But he doesn’t make boxes for destruction only, quite the contrary.“Remember I make boxes like mementos?” Namjoon retrieves his hand slowly and laces his fingers over his lap.Seokjin nods softly. He did a box out of the sounds of the terrace in the house the very first days after they arrived: a fancy, engraved, dark wooden box with the softest, most relaxing melody inside. When the memories are too much, Seokjin winds it all the way and lets the soothing sound lull him back to peace. Namjoon sighs. “This is really cheesy, but um… I made a box of us?” Namjoon’s hands rubs his thighs clearly nervous, he’s looking at the gear between them when he speaks again: “Of you really, what you make me feel— No! D-don’t open it now.”Seokjin freezes with his fingers in the winding key and giggles. “It’s like a love letter?”“It’s exactly like a love letter, fuck! Listen to it without me present, please.” Namjoon’s face is all red, but he’s smiling.“Okay.” He leans over the gear and kisses Namjoon’s cheek. “Thank you.”Namjoon catches him before he goes back to his seat and kisses him on the lips, just a short, sweet peck. “Let’s go home, yeah?”“Yeah.” He practically melts on the seat, a sigh caught on his throat and his heart feeling too big for his chest. In his next breath, all that cotton turns into heat and it falls all the way down to settle somewhere under his stomach. “Don’t tell anyone, but,” he’s stage whispering, “I’ll let you take me home on the first date.”Namjoon laughs as he starts the car. “Oh, I’m so lucky.”“No, no, it’s not luck, babe.” He turns in his seat, so he can look at Namjoon, deeply focused on the road but with an amused grin playing on his lips. “I had a great time and I loved the tablecloths. Also, you’re quite handsome, can barely resist.”He snakes a hand up Namjoon’s thigh and receives only a warning glare in response.“If we crash, we won’t get home tonight.”“You’re no fun.” Seokjin pouts and crosses his arms over his chest. He isn’t joking, his blood is boiling in his veins, his magic curling with hunger, it’s getting really hard to keep it all contained. He looks at Namjoon, and he seems to feel it, because he steals a quick glance and the corners of his mouth lift slightly. “Just a couple more minutes, love. Be patient.” * Once they’re back home, they make sure to lock the door, take a cold bottle of champagne and a couple of flutes from the kitchen, check out on Yoongi—peacefully asleep in his bed, and finally, finally, close the door of their room behind them.“Do we have to keep pretending it’s our first date or can I put on pajamas?” He says, kicking the sandals off his feet.“What do you mean? It was our first official date.” Namjoon wraps an arm around his waist to pull him closer and steals a soft bite before he whispers into the skin of his neck: “And why bother with changing? You’ll lose all clothes soon anyway.”A thrill of excitement rises on his skin, but he shrugs it off and escapes Namjoon’s hold. “I-it doesn’t matter which clothes then.”He skips to the en suite, but not without throwing a playful wink at Namjoon. He shuts the door as quietly as his trembling hands allow him and only then, he takes a couple of deep, calming breaths. He needs a minute to recompose himself. He’s in his game, he knows how to play by heart, but with Namjoon he hardly ever has the upper hand. Seokjin is always a bit breathless, on his way to blush, a step away from stuttering. Namjoon used to be clumsier at flirting, he still is most of the time, but when it comes to the certain ground of their relationship, he’s bold and he knows exactly what to say to set Seokjin’s mind and heart in disarray.Seokjin walks towards the mirror as he takes off his shirt and unzips his shorts. He takes the lip balm out of the front pocket before wriggling the shorts out of his legs. As he applies a generous amount of balm he scans down his body.“Gorgeous,” he tells his own reflection with a huffed laugh. No, not yet. His skin is too clean. Gorgeous he’ll be next morning when he’s painted in Namjoon’s marks. Fuck, he feels little shivers here and there, anticipation floods his veins. He takes another deep breath and adjusts himself in his underwear. He hopes Namjoon likes his choice. He twists his body a little to get a glimpse of his ass, half covered by white lace. Objectively, it looks pretty, Namjoon better be into it, because Seokjin loves his ass in fine lingerie. He puts on the loose t-shirt he uses not as pajamas actually but to get out of bed and walk around the house. It reaches mid-thigh, so the surprise will remain as that. With one last reassuring nod at his reflection, he goes back into the bedroom.“Hey—!” Namjoon pops the champagne open as soon as he sets foot in the room, making him jump and let out a little yelp. “Jesus.”He walks towards his nightstand and leaves the music box there safely before he turns to Namjoon.“Sorry.” Namjoon smiles apologetically, both dimples showing, making Seokjin’s heart skip another beat or two. He’s sitting on the window seat with a flute of champagne in each hand, and Seokjin feels like downing the whole bottle in one gulp at the sight of him.Namjoon also got into a more comfortable attire, losing the boots and the pants but keeping the loose tank and his underwear. There’s a lot of skin exposed, not as much as Seokjin would like, but enough to make his palms itch with how much he wants to touch.“I really wanted to fight those pants off your legs,” he comments with feigned disappointment. Namjoon only looks down with a lips-sealed smile, and Seokjin wants to give him the world. He can be so charming, his Joonie is so handsome.Seokjin’s top three favorite parts of Namjoon’s body are the legs for days, his attractive smile, and his artist-like, elegant hands. Still, Seokjin can talk for hours about everything else: the mole under his infuriatingly kissable lips, his cute nose, his fucking dimples, his long hair, black as coal at the moment, his deep ass voice, his strong-yet-not-buff frame, his beautiful tattoos— Actually, those were a surprise he wasn’t expecting to like as much as he does now, but oh well.Namjoon has added to his ink collection in the past month. Seokjin’s favorite addition is definitely the small KSJ on his inner thigh. It started as a joke. They were fooling around with a marker one day, making doodles on each other’s skin. Seokjin wrote the letters and in the following days, he noticed they were still there, even though the rest of the silly drawings were gone after a shower or two. Then, Namjoon told him he had got them tattooed. Subsequently, Seokjin filled the rest of his thigh with marks and ate him out until he cried. Seokjin licks his lips at the memory as he joins Namjoon by the window and receives the delicate glass. “Cheers,” he says when their glasses touch with a soft clink. He sits by Namjoon’s side and as they drink their eyes meet. After their self-imposed abstinence, they’ve been waiting impatiently for this moment, but now that it’s here, neither of them wants to rush it.“Did you have a good time?” Namjoon puts down his empty glass and reaches for Seokjin’s hand.“I had a great time, babe.” He takes Namjoon’s hand and laces their fingers together.“Ah, that’s cool. I was worried—” Namjoon laughs at Seokjin’s tired groan. “There was a lot at risk! What if I didn’t make the cut for the second date?”Seokjin snorts and downs the last of his champagne. “Namjoonie, I’d go watch paint dry with you, there was no reason for you to be worried, I’m not picky. And before you get it wrong, what I mean is that the date exceeded by far my expectations, and of course you made the cut for a second, third, twelfth, sixty-seventh date.”Namjoon smiles and gives his hand a little squeeze.“By the way, what’s that?” Namjoon points at the gift bag on his nightstand.“Oh, that. I made something for you, too.” Seokjin goes for the bag and presents it to Namjoon, but rather than grabbing the gift, Namjoon sets his hands on Seokjin’s hips and draws him closer. “Um, it’s nothing too special, so I-I didn’t bring it with me to the date…” Namjoon hooks his feet on the back of Seokjin’s knees and pulls a little so Seokjin has to let go of the gift to recover his balance with one hand on the seat. “Joon.”“You were saying?” Namjoon’s eyes are fixed on his lips, his hands are sliding slowly up his sides. Before his words start stumbling in his head and every will to speak leaves his body, Seokjin takes the crystal bottle inside the bag and throws the bag to the floor. “It’s home-made hair dye—”“Oh?” Namjoon seems to snap out of the mood he was falling into and takes the bottle from his hands to inspect it more closely.“Yeah, you know, the magical kind that doesn’t wash out unless you want it to. It’s missing the color and the magic to activate, but everything else is there. You said you wanted to dye your hair so…” Seokjin unties Namjoon’s black hair and threads his fingers through it to straighten it.“I will, thank you.” Namjoon smiles softly. “This potion is really expensive, though.” Namjoon leaves the bottle in a safe corner of the seat and sets his hands on Seokjin’s chest.Seokjin shrugs nonchalantly. “Not if you know how to do it and have the ingredients at home, and we do. Well, we and the neighbors, who won’t be missing a few leaves of the plants in their gardens—”Namjoon laughs a little and wraps his arms around Seokjin’s neck, pulling him down a little. “How many hidden talents do you have?”“This wasn’t hidden,” Seokjin splutters. “Y-you know my nana was an apothecary, slash herbalist, slash potion master. I had to learn the cool stuff.”“Okay, why don’t you show me more of that cool stuff tomorrow, hmm?” Namjoon starts kissing from the spot beneath his ear down the line of his jaw. “Right now, there’s something else I want.”
Game’s on.
“Oh, but I wanted to keep showing off my hidden talents.” Seokjin pouts when Namjoon reaches his lips. There’s a spark of curiosity in Namjoon’s eyes, one that knows Seokjin is onto something. “There’s one in particular I think you’ll like.”“Oh, yeah?”“Yes, I’ve been saving it for a special occasion, actually.” Seokjin props on Namjoon’s shoulders to put a knee on the seat. Namjoon takes the cue immediately and pulls himself back giving Seokjin space to settle on his lap. “Do you think this is a special night, Joonie?”Namjoon pretends to think for a while. “We could say so, yes. It was our first date, after all.”“A day to remember, indeed.” He leans in and presses a chaste kiss to Namjoon’s lips, just a prelude before he continues: “We should make it a night to remember too, right? So, I was thinking… why not switching things up a little?”“Switch them how?” Namjoon’s hands slide down his chests and set around his waist.“Oh, you know,” And he does, Seokjin is certain, because the buzz of excitement he can feel under his fingertips comes with the tint of a long-awaited craving finally at reach. “You could fuck me for a change.”Namjoon hums and kisses him, taking Seokjin’s bottom lip between his and pulling just a little. “I thought you’d never say those words.”“You wanted to? Why didn’t you say anything?” He scoots closer and reconnects their lips, setting a lazy pace. When Seokjin moves down Namjoon’s neck, he gives an answer intertwined with gasps. “I was— Um, I was waiting f-for you to…” At Seokjin’s huff, Namjoon laughs apologetically. “I know, I know. I should’ve quitted that by now.”“No, it’s okay.” Seokjin raises his head with one last nip to Namjoon’s throat. “I was purposefully not saying anything.”“Oh?” Namjoon tilts his head.“I didn’t want to.” He shrugs one shoulder and looks down to his fingers, drawing patterns on Namjoon’s tank top. Namjoon is attentively quiet, god knows what’s going on in his head, so before he can get some stupid ideas, Seokjin continues: “Wanna hear my reasons? I have a few, some quite sensible, others not so much.”Namjoon nods, half a smile is tugging at his lips. “First of all, you are so enthusiastic about being fucked.” He laughs when Namjoon hides his face in his neck with a groan.“Just for you,” Namjoon mumbles against his skin and Seokjin’s laugh tones down until it’s just a loud exhale. At first, when he was starving, his incubus’ instincts took over him entirely. Something primal in him commanded him to take Namjoon, he needed to make him his that way. Seokjin hoped Namjoon let him, and he did, but Seokjin thought it was going to be a one-time thing, he wasn’t expecting Namjoon to like it as much as he does. He wasn’t expecting himself to grow addicted to all the little sounds Namjoon makes when he’s hitting it just right, his face melting in pleasure, his hands holding onto him so strong as if he feared falling apart… Seokjin decides to stop this train of thought before he regrets his proposal. He kisses Namjoon’s shoulder exposed by the loose neck of his tank and whispers his next words against warm skin: “Second, I was kinda scared I might not enjoy it.”He never has, and it’s frankly tragic for a creature that needs sex to survive. Even that first time with Namjoon, he feared it might turn out as disappointing as every experience he’d had before. But it didn’t. In fact, sex with Namjoon was—is—fucking fantastic. He felt like a virgin all over again, only that now, he’s doing stuff the right way. Because everything is different with Namjoon, because he actively wants to do everything they do together wholly, not just for survival or convenience. And he has always loved the idea of being fucked, even though every experience he’s had has been disappointing, he has fantasized about it being actually good. Now, he knows Namjoon will make it good for him, so he’s not afraid anymore.“Jin, hey.” He lets Namjoon push him back a bit to look at his face. Namjoon’s eyes have taken that I’m-being-absolutely-honest roundness. Seokjin has to bite his lip to stop a smile. “You know you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, right?”“I know.” He pecks the tip of Namjoon’s nose and lets mirth curve his lips. “I really want you to fuck me, though, like really want to.”“Okay.” Namjoon nods and gulps down a sudden burst of heat at the prospect. “I-I’ll do my best.”“I know you will, babe.” He pecks Namjoon’s parted lips this time and wraps his arms around Namjoon’s shoulders to close the space between their bodies. He rubs his cheek on Namjoon’s and wriggles yet a tad closer as he feels the tiniest bit of stubble pinch him. “There’s a third reason. I think it’s the most important one, the actual reason why we haven’t done this yet.”Namjoon snorts, nuzzling behind his ear. “Something tells me this is gonna be good, go ahead.”“My third and last reason is that I really respect you as a person.”Namjoon let out a loud cackle. “What?”“Yes, Joon. Respect. This has been me respecting your time, respecting your space. You have a life you care about and that’s important for me, too,” he says in his most reasonable tone.“How does that have anything to do with this?” Namjoon’s voice is still full of contained laughter.“It has everything to do with this, Namjoon.” He pushes Namjoon’s back against the window glass and fixes him with a serious look. “I know that if you fuck me once—once, Joon, I’m being dead serious. You fuck me once, and there’ll be no way you can keep me away from your cock anymore, like— W-why are you laughing? This is serious, Namjoon. Hey—!”Namjoon plants both of his hands on Seokjin’s ass to lift him and walk towards the bed.“You are such a ridiculous man, Seokjin.” Namjoon puts him down carefully, going along easily when Seokjin wraps himself around him to keep him close. “And I love you to pieces.”Namjoon rolls on his back and drags his hands down Seokjin’s thighs at either side of his hips.“I love you, too.” Seokjin presses a lingering kiss to his mouth before he sits up and sighs, putting on a serious expression again. “But seriously, are you sure about this? Because I will evolve, Namjoon. I’ll reach my true potential, I know it. You’ll wake the cockslut lying dormant within me, and then there’ll be no rest for you—”“Will you shut up?” Namjoon sits up and hugs him tight to his body, burying his smile in Seokjin’s neck.“Fucking make me,” he mutters right before his voice cracks in a gasp when Namjoon bites his neck. Hard. Namjoon takes advantage of his parted lips to lick inside his mouth and confirm his previous suspicions. “Is that a goddamn tongue piercing?” He asks very stupidly after feeling the two small silver points dragging along his tongue. Anyway, Namjoon nods and kisses him again, deep and slow, metal clicking against his teeth every once in a while, and every time, Seokjin can’t help but grind his rapidly hardening cock on Namjoon’s. He pulls apart, breaking the kiss with a wet noise, when a sudden realization hits him. “W-wait, you have all your piercings on?”Namjoon nods again as he nips his way down his neck, cold silver tapping his skin here and there, sending shivers down the back of his neck all the way to his toes. As silence extends and Seokjin gets really still, Namjoon looks up with a confused frown. Seokjin holds his eyes for a moment before he throws a pointed look at his groin.“No, I don’t have metal in my dick, sorry.” He rolls his eyes with a huffed laugh.“Ah…” Seokjin sneaks his hands underneath Namjoon’s tank and starts gliding it up and off his body. “It’s okay. I’ve heard it’s more pain than gain, anyway.”He reconnects their lips and gasps as Namjoon racks his blunt fingernails up his back to take off his t-shirt as well. Seokjin lets him but closes the gap between their bodies as soon as possible since Namjoon hasn’t noticed the panties yet.“I just have two more you haven’t seen.” Namjoon kisses along his shoulder and squeezes his thighs, which makes Seokjin roll his body against Namjoon, looking for the friction of their bare skin, which makes him notice two cold touches on his chest.“Fuck.”“I knew you’d like ah—those.” Namjoon’s tone would’ve been casual if it hadn’t broken at the end when Seokjin pressed his thumbs over his pierced nipples. He flicks his thumbs again over the hard nubs, eliciting a shuddered breath, sort of moan out of Namjoon’s parted lips.“Hell, yeah, I love ‘em.” He keeps circling his thumbs carefully, trying to catch in a kiss every delicious sound that falls from Namjoon’s lips, the tiny sparks of pleasure coming out of Namjoon feed the fire building in his veins. “Wait, there’s one more left, right?”Namjoon’s lids are heavy as he answers, focus still glued on Seokjin’s mouth. He drawls his words when he speaks: “It’s actually a pair too, but—”“Where?” He grabs Namjoon’s chin to tip his face up and find his eyes.“Find it,” Namjoon whispers with a breathy chuckle Seokjin has to kiss off his mouth before his hands start to wander all over Namjoon’s upper body. There are just so many places you can pierce and Seokjin isn’t that knowledgeable about body modification to know all those places—
Fucking seriously?
“I need to see it.” Seokjin rises on his knees to let Namjoon move. He kneels backwards to him and turns his head to look back at Seokjin with a cheeky smirk on his lips.Seokjin grazes the hanja characters at the end of Namjoon’s spine and spreads his fingers to touch with his thumb and pinky the two silver studs at Namjoon’s motherfucking back dimples. “Why?”“Do you really need a reason for everything?” Namjoon laughs low in his chest. “I thought they were cute.”“Cute.” Seokjin wouldn’t call it cute, more like hot as all hell, but. Okay. It’s just a piercing, he’s fine, cool. Fuck. His hands grip Namjoon’s hips, thumbs digging into the supple flesh, a breath away from the two little silver dots. “What if we leave the switching for some other time? I really wanna—”“Na-uh.” Namjoon is on him in a blink, crowding into his space, making him fall back into his elbows with a soft gasp. “Not tonight.” Namjoon kisses him, nothing more than a munch on his bottom lip. “Tonight, I’m having my way with you.”Seokjin can help a shiver at the words and he knows, judging by the pleased smirk, that Namjoon noticed. Namjoon’s eyes leave his mouth to trickle down his body slowly and Seokjin almost laughs when they round comically as they fall into his underwear.“You’re not the only one with surprises.”“You’ve been wearing these all along?” Namjoon’s fingers stop shy over his navel.“You’re still as oblivious as always, baby darling,” he sighs with a little shake of his head.“Jin…”“What? You don’t like it?” He knows already that’s not the case, but teasing Namjoon is probably his favorite thing to do. He rests back on his elbows more leisurely, his thighs falling just a tad more open. “I can take them off, if you want.”“N-no, it’s not that,” Namjoon stutters, eyes jumping back to his face for a second before they drop again, and he mouths a silent fuck. “My eyes are actually watering.” Namjoon pinches the bridge of his nose.He stays in that position, eyes closed and frowning slightly. “Namjoon…?”“Wait a second, I’m sending a quick prayer to thank fucking Aphrodite right now.”He throws his head back in a laugh that gets cut by a sharp gasp when Namjoon nips down his neck, a hand cupping his half hard cock trapped in the lace.“Such a wicked angel you are, keeping secrets like this,” Namjoon mutters as his lips drag down Seokjin’s chest, his hand starts rubbing Seokjin’s cock to full hardness.“I-I keep telling you, I’m no angel, f-fuck—” His voice breaks in a moan when Namjoon closes his lips around one of his nipples and sucks hard enough to send a bolt of pleasure down his groin to the very tip of his fingers.Namjoon hums. “Debatable.” His tongue flicks over the hard nub of Seokjin’s nipple, then he licks slowly, so Seokjin can feel his nipple pass through the cold metal dots on Namjoon’s tongue.“Joon,” his hips thrust up as Namjoon keeps his ministrations, relentless. He needs more. “Joonie, I—”Namjoon pulls his mouth away from his nipples with a wet pop. “Gotcha.” He gets comfy between Seokjin’s thighs, nuzzling the lace over his cock, mouthing a little lower, but then an idea seems to strike him. “Um, Jin…”He sits up as Namjoon gets back on his knees, his eyes fixed on his fingers still caressing the lace on his hip absentmindedly.“What is it, baby?” He cups Namjoon’s face in his palms, leaning it upwards carefully so he can look into his eyes.He never peers into Namjoon’s desire with his magic, liking much better to go with instinct, but now he’s really tempted. Namjoon is hesitating too much.“C-can I…?” Namjoon sucks his bottom lip between his teeth and seems to make up his mind. “Can I eat you out?”“Oh.”All this time he has kept Namjoon as far away from his ass as possible, because he knew he wasn’t going to be able to resist. Always distracting Namjoon with something else when he got too close, sneaking his way out of the topic when he actually asked. Eventually, Namjoon stopped asking and stop trying, surely noticing the boundary Seokjin was setting. They’re hammering the boundary down tonight, so what the hell.“How do you want me?”Namjoon sucks in a deep breath, and a smile curls his lips slowly. “Fiercely so.” He leans in and kisses him.Seokjin can’t help snorting. “Nerd,” he whispers against Namjoon’s lips.“You love me,” Namjoon whispers back and licks through the seam of his lips to access his mouth.“I-I do,” comes his breathless answer once they pull apart, shy of delirious with want, his hunger bites at his core, but he’ll put it aside for a while longer. More than anything, he wants to give Namjoon everything his heart desires. “So?”“On your stomach, please.” Namjoon pecks his cheek and moves back to make room.Once Seokjin is set, he pillows his head in his crossed arms. He feels his heart booming against the mattress as it dips with Namjoon moving closer, his flushed cheeks burn against his skin. The whole backside of his body feels aflame, Namjoon’s gaze an intent touch.“Such a pretty angel,” Namjoon mutters more to himself as he slides his hands from his waist to his hips and grabs handfuls of lace cladded skin. “It’s almost a pity to take these off, but they’re in my way.” Namjoon’s fingers slip under the panties to squeeze his buttocks. “I guess I’ll just…”He slides the panties down just to let them hook where his thighs meet his ass. Seokjin lets out a shuddered breath as the slide strains his already tightly trapped cock a little further. Namjoon sighs and presses a soft kiss against his tailbone. “You’ve been so cruel to me, Jin, made me wait so long.”Namjoon leaves a litter of kisses on his cheeks, barely there touches of his impossibly soft lips that make it hard for Seokjin to utter his next words: “I-I already told you, I was being c-considerate.”“Yeah, um, you’re concept of consideration, though…” Namjoon kneads the plump flesh of his ass with his thumbs in circles, exposing his hole a little with every upstroke, sending a shot of heat through his veins.Seokjin lets out a breathless chuckle.“What is it?” Namjoon slides a hand down his leg to the back of his knee and pushes up slightly. Seokjin gets the idea and bends his leg, so there’s enough space for Namjoon to lie down between his legs.Even though Seokjin feels exposed as fuck and that’s making him feel a bit dizzy, he can’t stop laughing.“What’s so funny?”“Just a stupid joke—hey!” Namjoon bites his cheek just this side of too hard to be playful. It makes Seokjin hiccup another giggle. “It’s just that w-we could say my concept of consideration sucks ass.”He laughs harder as Namjoon sighs and rests his forehead on Seokjin’s buttock, chin pulling down the panties, which makes Seokjin’s laugh die in a gasp at the sudden squeeze on his front.Namjoon hums a laugh. He’s so damn close, fuck. Seokjin shivers every time Namjoon’s breathing fans over his skin. Namjoon uses his thumbs to spread his cheeks further and starts kissing around his rim, too close but not close enough. “Is it really a bad thing, though?”“I-I wouldn’t know. I’m about to find out.” His voice is nothing more than a whisper, but it’s charged, as charged as Namjoon’s little “Damn.”When Namjoon’s lips touch his entrance, Seokjin gasps, and his gasp turns into a breathless giggle. It tickles, Namjoon’s butterfly kiss sends a tickling sensation down his legs, almost as if—“Ah…” Namjoon’s tongue is a whole different sensation. “Joon—” It’s wet and warm, yet the metal dots strike him like tiny bolts of cold electricity. Namjoon’s tongue moves intently slow, mapping the area, licking over the sensitive skin, making him wet and fluttery. When Namjoon sucks, he can’t help the jolt of his body, he moans at the firm hand that presses on his lower back to keep him still. When Namjoon’s tongue pokes inside him, he melts. Every sensation is different, but all of them begin to build a simmering fire in his veins.Seokjin loses track of time, maybe because he hasn’t breathed properly in a while. His existence has been reduced to tickling sparks of pleasure, fists clenched on the comforter, writhing body covered in sweat and tiny desperate mewls falling off his lips. It’s driving him insane, it’s too much and not enough at the same time. He’s tried to grind his hips down, looking for at least a bit of friction on his aching cock, but every time he does so, Namjoon tightens his grip on the panties and… Well, that feels good in a whole different level. In any case, it won’t do, he needs more.“Namjoon, I wanna—”To his surprise, Namjoon laughs. After pulling out with a loud suck that makes Seokjin draw in a shaky breath, Namjoon chuckles.“You’ve been very patient. I never thought you’d last this long without making any demands.” Namjoon moves back, his hands massage Seokjin’s lower back. It feels a little stiff after all this time being tensed up, arching as much as possible to give Namjoon more space. “Turn around, love.”Once he’s on his back, Namjoon takes the panties off. Seokjin gasps when his cock springs free and hits his navel softly. It feels tender, but if he’s being honest all his skin feels oversensitive right now, his nerve endings alight.“Hurts?” Seokjin shakes his head. His eyes have been closed for a while now, and he doesn’t dare to open them, he’s a bit dizzy.Namjoon’s fingers graze his cock ever so softly, but Seokjin’s body still jolts, his hands fly down as if they were going to stop Namjoon. The touch is gone in an instant, and Seokjin whines, torn between wanting to come and wanting to regain control.“Jin?” Namjoon’s hands rub his thighs more in a soothing manner than anything sexual. “Love, look at me.”The thing is that Seokjin is more used to give pleasure than to receive it. It’s so hard for him to come, pleasure builds slowly in him, and the longer it takes to release, the drunker it makes him. Much like the daze he gets after reaping an orgasm from someone else, his own pleasure fogs his mind and leaves him pliant, desperate. He never lets Namjoon draw things for too long, not being quite sure about how to deal with this weird state of mind he gets into. He has let go any pretense of control this time and he feels a bit lost.“Seokjin?” Namjoon brushes his hair back and kisses his cheek. “Are you okay?”The pinch of worry in Namjoon’s voice is what finally makes him open his eyes. A wave of emotion gets stuck in his throat when he finds those eyes he loves so much. He wraps his arms around Namjoon’s neck and pulls him down, so he can kiss his lovely lips, looking extra pink after everything he’s been doing.“Keep going, yeah?” He bumps their noses together a couple of times and manages a little smile that Namjoon inspects with squinted eyes.“You’re sure you’re okay?”“I am!” He flicks Namjoon’s shoulder with weak fingers and huffs a laugh as Namjoon’s blows a raspberry on his neck. “Are you gonna fuck me or what?”“Um,” Namjoon hums, leaving a trail of open mouthed kisses down his chest and abs. When he reaches his navel, he takes Seokjin’s cock carefully and gives it a couple of pumps. He hums some more when Seokjin throws his head back and writhes at the touch. “Not yet, no, I don’t think so.”“You son of a bitch…” Namjoon just snickers at his gritted curse, puts a pillow underneath his hips and pushes his legs towards his chest before he plops down and attaches his lips to Seokjin’s rim once again, pulling a cry out of his throat. He’s not sure if he’ll ever get used to the feeling, if possible. “I-I won’t forget this, Joon.” He bites his lip to refrain an embarrassingly high moan when Namjoon’s tongue slides inside him and he grabs a handful of Namjoon’s hair and another of his own. “Y-you will re-regret teasing me like this, Kim Namjoon.”“Unlikely,” Namjoon mutters and Seokjin never hated his fucking deep voice more than now that it vibrates against his fucking asshole.Eventually, Namjoon whistles the lube on his nightstand into his hands and his tongue finally gets replaced by one of his fingers. It’s not enough, but when Seokjin tells him just that, he starts sucking on the head of his cock and that is too much.“Wait, Joon—” Another finger joins the first, thrusting slowly, looking for something inside Seokjin. “Don’t— I-I wanna come on your cock.”“Oh, you will.” Namjoon starts munching on his thigh, fingers curling inside Seokjin. “Later.”Seokjin feels actual tears in his eyes as the stimulation on his prostate keeps on. When Namjoon takes his cock in his mouth again, he’s about to lose his mind. Every muscle on his body is tense, he’s probably hurting Namjoon with how tight he’s gripping his hair, he surely is leaving marks where his nails are digging into his own thigh, keeping it bent.“N-namjoon, please—” He practically sobs as Namjoon picks up a faster pace. “Fuck, pleasepleasep—”It’s in the next upstroke, the light suction, the piercing dragging up his length, the pads of Namjoon’s fingers pressing just right… He comes, and maybe there are fireworks, but he can’t tell, brain fried in endorphins, it takes him a while to come back from the clouds and when he does, is to the raging fire of his magic, demanding to be fed.“Joon.” He’s panting, his heart flutters in his chest. There’s no blissful afterglow for him, just hunger.Namjoon doesn’t seem to notice, though. He just keeps going, more slowly, all over again, from the top, and Seokjin wants to scream, he seriously will pop a blood vessel, this is so, so— “F-fuck, Joonie…”It even hurts a little, but oh what the hell. It feels so good, he feels like glowing. There are tears falling off his eyes to his temples, but a smile paints his lips. It’s overwhelming really, pleasure is really hard to handle for him, but he feels safe in Namjoon’s hands. It doesn’t take him that long to come again. And again, and again. Every orgasm takes away another drop of his sanity until there’s no more left in him, and when he finally stops spinning out of this world, he’s shaking, crying softly, breathlessly. “You’re so beautiful like this, angel, so fucking beautiful.” Namjoon has mercy on him and gathers him in his arms, sitting him up and cradling him to his chest. “Are you with me? You’re okay?”Seokjin uses Namjoon’s voice and the strong beat of his heart under his ear to anchor his mind. He’s struggling with his will to speak, or maybe he lost the ability altogether. He’s taking deep, slow breaths, trying to make his heart beat at a healthy pace again. When he parts his lips, what comes out is a breathy giggle. “Okay?” The word sounds suddenly hilarious.Namjoon’s fingers card through his hair and maybe he presses a kiss to the top of Seokjin’s hair. “We can call it a night and go to sleep—”“Kim Namjoon,” he’s whispering, not daring to risk the stability of his voice. “Don’t think you can get away from me that easily.”Namjoon lets out a low chuckle when Seokjin pushes him into his back and hovers over him propped on slightly shaky arms.“I wouldn’t dare, love.” His voice is all rumbly, his smile a tad condescending. “It’s just that you seem quite… content.”“Oh, so you’re being smug now, uh?” He’d be lying if he said it doesn’t turn him on, even though his skin tingles with oversensitivity. He leans down and presses his lips to Namjoon’s softly. “Well, you’ve been very selfless.” He snakes a hand down Namjoon’s body to rub against the wet patch on Namjoon’s underwear—he still has it on? God, right above the head of his painfully hard cock. Poor, neglected thing. “Doesn’t it hurt? Why don’t you let me take care of you now?”Namjoon huffs a laugh. “I’m pretty sure you’re going to torture me now.”“Me? Why would I do that?” He gasps in fake indignation and squeezes Namjoon just hard enough to make him jolt and pull a tiny mewl out of him. “It’s really tempting, but the truth is that I really want you to come.”“It won’t take long, b-believe me,” Namjoon mumbles and his hands wrap around Seokjin’s waist. He giggles and pecks Namjoon’s lips again. “Will you get rid of these for me, babe?” He pinches the fabric of Namjoon’s boxers and it dissolves between his fingers. “Thank you, mister sorcerer.” “At your service, always.” Namjoon sits up and watches Seokjin drop a generous amount of lube on his dick. “Like it wet?”“Yep,” Seokjin pops the p and has to bite his lip to not giggle again like an idiot. He wraps his palm around Namjoon’s cock and gives it a few jerks to make sure it’s well coated. His skin is prickling with anticipation, his magic almost buzzes. He kisses Namjoon’s parted lips one more time. “Ready?”“Wait but—” Namjoon’s voice beaks in a gasp as Seokjin gets a firm grasp of his cock and rubs the head on his entrance. “T-the stretch, I didn’t p-prepped you properly—”But Seokjin is already pushing down.“That’s the best part, Joonie.” Namjoon’s cock is, in simple words, big. The feeling of it pressing to enter, the stretch when his hole finally gives is, in all honesty, delicious. “Don’t worry, babe, I can t-take… Ah—” A moan gets ripped out of his throat when the head catches on his rim and he slides down a little more easily. “F-fuck.” It actually hurts a little, but he loves the burn, loves the small pain adding to the pleasure. He laughs a little, breathless and flushed, kind of dazzled again, losing track of his own sensations, as the only thing he can focus on is the feeling of Namjoon’s cock throbbing inside him, and his pleasure pulsing in the air around them. The hunger comes back, it urges him to bounce on that cock, to make Namjoon melt in pleasure and soak in every last drop of it—“Jin.”His name coming out as a nothing more than a breath out of Namjoon’s lips snap him out of the fever his magic was filling his head with. He opens his eyes to find Namjoon’s silver ones burning with nothing short of adoration and Seokjin gets caught in a whole different daze. It’s so easy to get carried away, good thing he has Namjoon right there to pull him back into his senses. He’s not just feeding, for fuck’s sake, he’s having sex with the man he loves. He’s not chasing after his orgasm, he wants to make Namjoon feel good, because he deserves it, because it’s a small way to reciprocate all the happiness Namjoon gives him every day, because it’s a way to bring his love for Namjoon to the material world, and for god’s sake isn’t that a lot of love? A warmth that fills every corner of hi soul. A blessing he never thought he could receive. A dream he didn’t even dare to dream. Namjoon is everything he would’ve asked of life if he ever had felt allowed to ask for anything.“Are you crying?”“No.” He hurries to swipe the tears escaping his eyes, as if Namjoon would be able to miss them as close as they are. “I-I’m just having a heart orgasm.”Namjoon laughs, lovely eyes becoming nothing more than happy slits, dimples in full display. “A what?”“Heartgasm.” He rolls his eyes, suddenly hell bent to pull this through. “It happens often when I’m around you for too long, it’s—”“Come here, you dumbass.” Namjoon closes his arms around him and pulls him down with him just to roll him into his back and kiss the living daylights out of him. Namjoon managed to change their positions without slipping out of him, so once he’s settled over Seokjin, he starts moving his hips in short thrust in and out, as if just testing the drag. Their lips part when Namjoon’s thrust get longer, more intent. Seokjin is holding his breath, glassy eyes fixed on Namjoon’s focused frown, he’s looking for the right angle and biting back groans.“Just fuck me however, I—” His voice dissolves into a moan when Namjoon’s hands bend his legs a little closer to his chest and his next thrust goes impossibly deeper. “Joon.”Namjoon’s takes the break of his voice as cue to pick up the pace, and if that’s how it’s going to be, then Seokjin starts getting exponentially louder until Namjoon’s is pounding into him just like he likes it. Hard and deep, unrestrained. Pure.Seokjin can’t believe that tingling tension teasing at his core, telling him he’s about to come again, but then again, he’s never felt so thoroughly stimulated before. And it’s not just the fucking—which is outstanding by the way, it’s also the way their eyes meet sometimes and Seokjin can’t keep them open because the emotions filling his heart are too much, it’s the little smiles pressed to each other’s lips, the lovely words kissed into heated skin, the strength with which trembling fingers clutch whatever they can reach. It’s their love singing in harmony inside their hearts, getting louder so they can carry the sound through skin and bone and reach the other.Seokjin comes and it’s probably his reaction what pushes Namjoon over the edge. His pleasure sets every last cell in Seokjin’s body on fire, and he swears he blacks out for a few seconds.“W-we are definitely having a second date.”Namjoon just laughs, flushed cheeks and shiny eyes lovely. Seokjin want to kiss him until the morning light floods their room and a new day comes to give him a chance to keep loving his precious Namjoon. He does just that, and maybe he does torture Namjoon a little, but it is sweet and loving and Namjoon tells him he loves him a couple or a hundred times and Seokjin believes him, he says it back, because he feels it, because the words press their way out of his throat, and if he doesn’t say them, he’d choke. It’d be a horrible death, pitiful, useless. He’d live any day to see the smile the words paint in Namjoon’s lips. * Seokjin opens the music box in the morning, while Namjoon is supposedly asleep. The melody brings tears to his eyes and a blush to his cheeks, a flutter to his heart. He lets out a quiet chuckle that turns into a loud laugh when Namjoon groans and falls off the bed as he rolls away from the sound mortified.“I asked you one thing!”“I love it, baby. Thank you.” He lets the box still sounding in his nightstand and reaches a hand for Namjoon to take it.“You’re welcome,” he mutters and comes back into their bed with a pleased smile curling his lips.
