A THOUSAND YEARS
The brunette cannot help but stiffen up in attention when the ring of the Twelve o'clock midnight echoed into the hallways of the hospital. The wind blew softly into his room and lifting the wraps of his lace curtains into the air. Giving him a fantastic view of the full moon outside his windows. Any moment now and he'll be-
A small knock on his window pane that was left unopened caught his attention. A pair of silver eyes illuminating the same glow as the moon behind him. "Knock knock."
"D-doctor Levi..." The brunette can't hide the excitement in his voice. He had been waiting for this moment of his day every time he wakes up. This hidden tryst with the doctor always left his heart and his lung even weaker.
"Say the magic words baby. you know I can't enter without you 'begging' for me. You know it, say the magic words and my name." the brunette gasped in attention and turned to sat up facing the windows, his tan legs hanging at the bedside. "You may enter my room Doctor Levi A-" i n a flash, the raven was already in front of him, his pale cold hands gripping his waist softly. he said and returned his rare displays of affection with a hug of his own. "Can't you enter my room without using the windows again? I mean, what are the doors for if you're going to use the windows all the time?" "No can do Angel, or else Annie will sell us out to your Amazon Sister. I dare say that she has one of the meanest punch." the brunette laughed at his statement. He can't deny that. Mikasa has always been the protector of their squad. Even if it was a bully who was 10x larger than she is.
"Well, kidding aside. We angel, are going to play something exciting." the brunette's brows furrowed in confusion. Is the doctor initiating a game for once?
"A game?" the raven nodded and maneuvered his way to encase the brunette in between his legs. The brunette immediately relaxed and leaned back to him. "We're going to play the Ambulance game. I'lI trail my hands...like a little, Ambulance." The brunette gasped as the raven pushed his legs open and settled them to the side of his own legs. Hi s hands trailed to the brunette's inner legs, dangerously close to his- ".....and I'll stop when you say red light? Easy peasy right?" the brunette held back a groan. He is teasing him again...yet he feels a thrill of excitement on what they are going to do tonight.
"Can we Start now Angel?" the brunette shivered in response when the doctor's breath blew soft puffs of air on his sensitive ears. This game will definitely kill him before his sickness does. His heart was ready to jump from his chest and his lungs were about to collapse from loss of oxygen. Even his tummy feels like a whole damn zoo were stomping their way inside.
"We can't have that happening Angel, Not on my watch okay?" The raven's answer sounded like he was convincing himself more than he is trying to imply to Eren. "So Eren, shall we start?" The brunette squeezed his eyes shut and nodded furiously. He can't deny the fact that he is fragging excited on what is going to happen. He squealed in surprise when he felt the raven bite his ears. His ears were really sensitive.
"Eyes on me Angel, keep those pretty ocean eyes on me." The brunette struggled to force his eyes to stare at the Raven's intense wintry eyes. His body shivering in response to the raven's gaze. His stares always do this black magic on him. It can make him stay at one place and behave like nobody else did. Levi tamed the wildness in him...and Eren didn't hate any moment of it. In fact, he welcomed it.
"Okay, remember the Rules Sunshine?" he nodded in reply, not trusting his own voice,"Then we'll start" the raven licked his fingers before giving Eren's right toes an experimenting touch. Goosebumps rose from his legs as his cold hands made contact unexpectedly to his toes.
"The ambulance is moving..." on his words accord, the raven's finger slowly created a trail of soft brushes of touch on his skin. "Where is it going I wonder?" the whispered in a mock wonder. The sensation doubled when the raven's other arm started trailing touches on his left leg too. "Doctor..." he can feel the doctor smirk in between the tresses of his hair. "and now its going to a shortcut...around a park. Looks like there's an emergency." He gasped in shock when he started drawing circles on his inner thighs...closer and closer to his-
"Looks like someone else is also up..."
t
he brunette blushed in response noticing the tent on his thin flimsy hospital gown. "Well, its not like you're not the only one who;s excited." The raven emphasized his point by grinding his raging hard on to the brunette's bum.
"Now its nearer to its destination...I wonder where. Where do you think angel?"
"I-I don't know-AHN~!" The brunette squeaked his response when the raven suddenly sunk his left index finger to his pulsing hole. The raven thrusted his fingers lazily but with precision that rubs all the spots that makes him moan for more. He only had a small amount of time to gasp out his protest due to the intense stimulation.
"RED LIGHT~! RED LIG-" his words got swallowed with his own moans as the raven added another finger and scissored his insides. He still can't believe the fact that with only the doctor's finger, he'll once again come undone. He can feel it building up slowly. Like a champagne bottle suddenly popping it's cork...spilling white foam everywhere. Eren bit his lip to supress the moans trying to escape his lips as the raven's assault to his insides, intensified. It slowly pushed Eren to the brim, until he can't stop it anymore. Just as he exploded thick spurts of white ribbon inside his gown...he heard the raven whisper sultrily at his ears again...making him shiver in delight.
"Baby, Ambulances don't stop at red lights during emergency."

Shiganshina Hospital
Cardiology Department
April 14 of the year XXXX

A man in white scrubs and white mask approached the hospital bed where a young girl lay fast asleep due to the sedatives running in her system. The soft beeps of the heart monitor echoed in the background signaling every beat the girl's heart is making, but the intervals of the beat were out of a human's heart normal rhythm. A strobe light was focused on her exposed chest where a bunch of green cloth covered the rest of her body."I'm going to start the Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery to Hanna Elise, an eight-year old girl suffering from atherosclerosis. Considering her age and medical background which is nowhere near in good condition, preciseness must be crucially observed. Shall we start now?" “Yes Doctor.” The three men who were on the other side of the patient answered, also in green scrubs and face mask. “Are the arteries that will be used as bypass grafts ready?” “Yes doctor.” The man who was the head of the operation nodded. “Then we’ll proceed with CABG. Scalpel.” The nurse nearest to the stainless steel instruments reached for the sleek metal and gave it to the doctor. The doctor made a small skin incision extending from the midpoint between the angle of Louis and the sternal notch to lessen the xiphoid process. A diathermy incision was extended through the subcutaneous tissue down to the sternum. “Bovie.” The bleeding points are soon cauterized carefully especially with the periosteum so it won’t interfere with the healing later on. The doctor proceeded on deepening the incision exposing the patient’s organ that will be operated on. At this point, the patient’s heart will be stopped for a moment so it will be still enough for the doctor to operate on the girl’s heart. He took a quick look on the heart-lung machine that is now supplying blood and oxygen through the patient before proceeding. The doctor carefully made an incision to separate the deceased artery when a blood splattered into the surgeons face. His eyes widened as blood continued flowing from the sliced artery. “D-doctor. The patient is having an excessive bleeding!” the doctor cursed and placed his scalpel down. His vision blurred for a second and made the wrong cut. Doubts and regret flooded the doctor’s heart making his breath come out in short pants. He should’ve passed it to the other doctors and just rested after the eight hour surgery to the Forty-two year old woman. The operation was also complicated but it was nowhere near this girl’s condition. If this continues, she will not be able to hold out like that adult lady did. “Call Dr. Ackerman.” the doctor stated lowly, almost a whisper. “Sir?” the nurse squeaked as they tried to stop the bleeding. “Call Dr. Ackerman while I stop the bleeding. I am no longer fit to perform this surgery. Run into the Cardio Department. I’m sure it’s his break at this moment.” The nurse nodded and removed her gloves before dashing outside the Operating Room into the Cardio Dept. which was only a few hallways away. She ran past a bunch of patients and doctors who regarded her bloody scrubs with a cautious glance but she paid no mind. A girl’s life was in line and she couldn’t care less what she looked like from other person’s perspective. After what seemed like an eternity, she finally reached a door labeled as Cardiology Department. She quickly turned the knob and open the door with so much force that it crashed into the wall. The loud bang made a lot of doctors who were having their coffee break turn to her direction. “Where’s *huff* Dr. *huff* Ackerman? Emergency….please.” the stunned doctors pointed her into the closed door where doctor’s usually took a nap. She nodded gratefully and proceeded on opening the door. The raven’s wintry eyes was trained onto her before she can even speak a single syllable. His gaze was irritated almost bored. “Took you a fvcking long time brat. He fvcked up didn’t he?” the nurse shamefully shook her head. “W-we’re sorry Doctor. We did our best but Dr. Jean made the wrong cut and….” “Shut it. We have no time for blaming who did what. How bad is it?” the blonde nurse still refused to meet her eyes. It was the only confirmation the raven needed before removing his white coat and walk outside the quarter’s area. The doctors in the office gave the two cautious looks as the raven ranted on the stupidity of some doctor he refused to name while stomping his way out of the door. They were just a bunch of ‘horse face’ or ‘horsey’ but the staffs quickly deducted who was the object of the raven’s irritation. The raven was already on the process of sterilizing his hands when the blonde nurse caught up to him. The doctor walked so fast that he seemed like a blur to her. Was it her fatigue talking or did the doctor really reached the O.R in just a few seconds? Nevertheless, the raven paid her no mind and proceeded on wearing gloves. He quickly wore a mask over his face and entered the operating room. “Dr. Ackerman!” The relieved looks on the nurses faces were almost comical when the raven entered their line of vision. It was as if angels have descended from heaven to help them. The raven ignored him and gave the object of his irritation the nastiest look he can give. “I can fvcking handle this huh?” He growled out getting a thread and needle from the tray. He slapped the doctor’s hand off the patient and proceeded on stopping the bleeding. “I did, I just made the wrong cut and-” “and Look where it took us. Jesus fvcking Christ. You almost bled this girl to death. Can’t you at least lower down your fvcking pride for a fvcking second? Your face is ugly enough and you just proved how it also reflects your heart asshole. Someone get this idiot out before I stitch his face off the earth.” The blonde man wanted to argue but the nurses quickly ushered him to the exit according to the head surgeon’s request. The raven let out a relieved breath and asked the nurse to cut the stitch he made on the girls artery. The nurse quickly acted on stimulus and cut the string. The raven sighed in exasperation. “We only have a limited time to finish this surgery so where are the healthy arteries?” the nurse nearest to him gave the metal tray containing the arteries. The raven gave it a nasty look and turned to the girls heart. What a fvcking bloody mess this Horse face turned this supposedly clean operation if he was the one who performed this. But did he agreed? Hell no. Sure, he did a Twelve-hour operation to an eighty-year old man but he’s more than hundred percent sure that he can do ten times better than horse faced brat. Brats nowadays are always getting ahead of themselves. Just because they are employed longer in this institute, they are like hurt puppies whose home and attention was stolen from them. He sighed again and proceeded on sewing one section of the artery around the opening just below the blockage in the true deceased coronary artery and attached the other end into the tiny opening he made into the aorta. This redirected the blood flow around the blockage. The nurse’s complexion who were fifty shades pale before slowly gained their color as the raven doctor performed with ease. He skillfully placed temporary pacing wires in case there will be an abnormal heart rhythm after the surgery and a chest tube to drain the fluid before closing it with special wires. The chest incision was closed with a few internal stitches. The nurses let out a relieved sigh when the girl’s condition remained stable during the raven’s ministrations. Her heartbeat was normal and her breathing’s fine. “Operation finished. Keep close track of the girl’s condition vital signs. Alert me if something happens.” The nurses nodded in gratitude as the raven quickly exited the O.R. He quickly did a roundabout and went to the sink to wash the bloodied mess on his hands. The water on the sink immediately turned red with the amount of blood he washed down the drain. “Another successful operation doctor.” A scratchy yet familiar voice spoke from the raven’s side. A spectacled woman with hair that could’ve passed off as a bird’s nest was casually leaning on the wall, her arms folded into her chest. The raven was about to give her his piece of mind when a particular horse-faced dude spoke from his other side. The man’s face was the epitome of pure rage and was it…jealousy? The raven gave him a knowing smirk. He’ll get this horseface back for endangering that girl’s life. “And so the animal heeds his master’s calls.” “Shut it Ackerman. Today’s just your lucky day.” “Just like the one before and the one before that? And the other time I also took over a surgery where I’m just an assistant? Come on Kirstein, you can do better than that.” The man just fisted his palms and gave the man the nastiest glare he can. “The day will come that you’ll be the one needing my help Ackerman. Wait for it.” The blonde man gave him one last glare and walked away, his head still held high. “Yeah and horses don’t neigh….like you!” the woman beside him shouted when the man was no longer on their line of sight. He turned to the raven with a bright smile on her face. “Was my insult good? I just copied you~! Did I do it right?” the raven closed the faucet and carefully wiped his hands with a tissue and hand sanitizer he always carry around. Hospitals are the home of germs and bacteria that he didn’t want to get from tissues they hang near the sink. “The fvck are you even doing here four eyes? This is not your department.” The spectacled doctor in the name of Hanji Zoe gave him a wide smile. “Neither this is yours.” Truth to her words, neither of the two of them belongs into the cardiology Department. Hanji Zoe is a doctor in Pediatric Department specializing in brats. It uncannily suited her since she had a healthy obsession to kids. She might exactly not look like it but she’s really skilled in her field and widely recommended by doctors and patient alike. Consequently, the raven doesn’t belong in this department either. Nor in any specific departments. He’s actually a General Practitioner not specializing in the field of Cardiology or anything. He just happens to be constantly scouted and pulled by the cardio department into their domain that he started making his unofficial residence there. It was a win-win situation for him since only complicated operations were given to him and he can get away from other departments who were trying to snatch him for their convenience. It was never voiced out verbally by the man itself but Dr. Levi Ackerman is an extremely skilled doctor and an absolute asset into the hospital after he transferred here 2 years ago. In the short span of two years, the raven already made a name of himself as the Father of Medicine, in which he always deny despite the obvious performance he’s showing. The raven doctor not only became famous for his expertise in any field but also his ethereal looks that made everyone swoon to him. With his wintry eyes, aristocratic-looking face and a built body to die for, It was never in question why he became a sensation in the entire hospital and various departments. The only downside, were more of like a turn on to those who liked the bad boys type, was his nasty attitude and his sexy lips that can’t speak a sentence without a cuss. His nasty attitude knows no bounds that effectively shut the hell out of people mainly because of his scary aura and the reason that he is more than hundred percent right. Yet, there still some idiots like that horse face who thinks he’s better than anyone and that the raven is wrong in any means necessary. Dr. Jean Kirstein was a Cardiologist in Shiganshina for over three years, meaning he was here before Levi transferred. He was an admirable doctor known to perform complicated surgeries successfully without sweat. His only downside is that jealousy got the best out of him when the Levi Ackerman arrived into the picture. It started with just a few shits and now it has come to this. He can’t believe that horseshit. “Hey Levi! Did you hear what I said?” The raven gave her a nasty glare. “Will you shut your face and wait for me to finish washing my damn bloody hands before you start giving me shit?” the woman, unaffected by his burst of anger, just smiled at him and held her hands up in a defeated manner. “Woah chill out. I’m not here for…..for that. Erwin sent me here to pick you up…or did the 12 hour + 5 hour surgery fried your brain now? DO you still recognize me Levi?” the woman asked stupidly. “Sais-tu qui je suis?” she then proceeded on the man’s mother tongue making the raven glare daggers at him. “Ferme ta gueule. You’re annoying me four eyes.” “Thank God you can still speak” Dr. Hanji stated in exaggerated relief. “A Seventeen hour surgery is nothing to me four-eyes. Now tell what does that shitty bro needs from me?” the beta’s smile to him made hairs on his arms stand up. It could only mean two things. Either Erwin wants to celebrate something with him or give some work to him. Either of them will undoubtedly cause trouble to his peaceful life. He just hoped that it wasn’t the latter since the last time Erwin passed a work to him, it ended in a shitstorm. It became a lesson on not to pair a Psychopathic Hoarder with an OCD Doctor or else there will be war. The man was traumatized beyond human capacity, yet it actually fixed the man’s explosive attitude and hoarding tendencies. “We found the Special Case, ” the woman leaned closer to his ears and whispered things that greatly piqued the raven’s interest. “Erwin managed to have you as the Dhampir's doctor.” In contrary to all that bullshit, humans have been gossiping about. The race of vampires weren’t actually wiped out after Count Dracula’s death. Neither they are the only fantasy and mythical creatures living today. Aside from Vampires & Dhampirs, species such as Incubus, Succubus, Werewolves, fairies and gypsies exists. Though they are now in hiding to avoid the human’s prodding instances and resorted on living a normal life, there till many of them scattered around the world. Some living in the depths of the earth and some within the human society, trying to blend in. Just like his long-time friend and comrade during the age of WWI, former commander and now Dr. Erwin Smith of the Dermatology Department. The raven made a quick scan on the suspected Dhampir’s profile the four-eyed pediatrician gave to him before dashing back to her Dept. when her name was called over P.A system. What a crazy lady, she must’ve snuck out. Again. A Big Red CONFIDENTIAL was plastered on the folder’s cover which increased the raven’s suspicion. The folder was even sealed with plastic and all that zip-lock shit. Jesus, what kind of patient is this kid; A Mafia boss’s son? A young man with brunette locks and the greenest…somewhere between a myriad of blue-green-brown pair of eyes served as the first page of his portfolio. He was smiling at the picture but sadness was evident in his ethereal colored eyes. The raven turned the page and saw the brat’s general information inside. Name: Eren JaegerAge: 21 Birthday: March 30Blood Type: -OAddress: xXx/xXx/xXxMother: Carla Jaeger | 36 | Housewife | DeceasedFather: Grisha Jaeger | 41 | Neurologist | N/ASister: Mikasa Jaeger | 22 | Café Waitress | Alive
Academic Excellence:
N\A
Medical History:
………….………..………….. The profile was last update April 2018 when he was admitted in Maria hospital due to some...complex complications? That was rare considering the kid's past the age Eighteen. A peak age for young half-bloods like him, if he really is. The age of Eighteen is usually where a Dhampir’s senses he inherited from his Vampire Sire slowly awaken Like the need for blood, advanced senses and stuff. The ability to heal their own wounds to some extent included. From the looks of his profile, his mother might be the human parent and his father as the one with Vampire Blood. Dhampir’s existence are really rare. Any human who dared to sire ends up dying after birth...but his records state that his mother lived until his 7th birthday...How unusual. His sister is an another anomaly in his record. it seems like, she lived a normal life and even had a work. She even graduate from a private all-girls University, while Eren was...as expected homeschooled and got a degree in Literature through Online Classes. The kid's academic records amused the raven, pulling a grin from his normally blank face. Homeschooled? Distance Learning? No jobs that could've hinted that he actually interacts to the outside world himself. This kid might just be the one that they've been looking for. Despite having a human blood, Dhampir’s are really vulnerable to sunlight. Their skin easily burn with the sun’s rays and would turn into ashes after Thirty Minutes of exposure. It was really crafty how his medical condition and history was tailored for his secret’s convenience. A disease that makes him unable to go out into sunlight? What a bunch of bullshit. His father...Dr. Grisha seemed to be a well-known doctor, he might have had something to do with his son's records. Talk about abuse of authority. No wonder Erwin sent him to observe the brat, a pureblood who was a vampire since the concept of vampire’s even started and can detect even the smallest hint of Dhampir blood in his system. This will be a good time to observe the brat without the older vampire knowing since he was still overseas doing some research on one of the affiliated institutes. Well, unlike that half-blood, Levi was born from two pure-blooded vampires on the year xXxX. The age where every humans are so against of these monsters living. A complete contrast on today’s era where teenage girls are all giving the heart eyes to sparkling vampires. Like where did they get that wishy washy sparkle? Sure he’d sparkle, If you douse him with glitters, which is not a good idea unless you want to die. Well that’s already old news now since his mother already died when a stupid farmer staked her heart after she tried to help them from the real cold-blooded monster who tried to eat his cattle and kids. What ungrateful creatures humans are. His father was already out of the picture before he was even born. Just his asshole of an Uncle, Kenny Ackerman, who took the trouble, of raising a punk kid like him. Kenny, like his dad was also out of his life, a hundred years ago actually. Maybe chillin’ somewhere in Morocco and fvcking anyone who had two legs. Him on the other hand is blending in to the society as a Doctor in Shiganshina hospital. Him and Erwin only did it on a whim and worked on a hospital a few hundreds of years back and now it has become a some kind of a passion. Aside from the idea of being able to help people like his mother wanted him, which is kind of ironic since she was killed by the very same species his mother wanted him to protect, they also have an exclusive access to blood. Levi was different from other vampires living today, he despises the idea of sucking blood, directly from the host. God knows if that person takes a bath every day. Really disgusting. That’s why he resorted on getting blood from blood banks depending on which type has extra stock. He only have the urge to drink once every three days so he never gets caught. The taste was kind of bland but it gets the thirst off. He can’t help it if the blood of his beloved would be the only blood that would appeal to him. He only heard stories of it from his mom, but it got him looking forward on finding his own. According to his mom, he only person who bears the most divine blood for a vampire and the only one that can quench a vampire’s thirst, is their beloved. It was something akin to a werewolf’s soulmate since they can also forge an emotional and mental link, but it stems deeper than that. The blood of a person’s beloved can give someone superior strength and can heal any wounds depending on the affection the pair have for each other. Hundreds and almost a thousand years later. Levi has yet to find his beloved. He is on the verge of losing hope and just bond to someone that he’ll kind of spend the rest of his immortal days with, but there’s this biting…desperate feeling in his heart that stopped him from doing so. Especially the words that his mother last told him before she turned into dark ashes. His train of thoughts was stopped when he finally reached the underground Level of the hospital where patients with special cases are usually kept. Hanji already inform him that during daylight, Eren Jaeger stays at the lower levels and gets transferred to a UV protected room during the night to he can breathe fresh air. The name Eren Jaeger was scribbled on the paper at the holder under the number 1225. He sighed and composed himself and make himself look as doctorly as he can, not a pure-blooded vampire out to scout him if he ever was a Dhampir. He knocked at the door a few times. He heard a small squeak and few crashes inside that made him frown. What is that doing inside? A few more minutes of crashing and shuffled movements inside passed before he heard the brat poke from the other side. “C-come in.” He sighed and slowly turned the knob.
“Good Morning Mr. Jaeger. I’m Dr. Ackerman. Levi Ackerman. Your Doctor starting from today.”

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
“And with your spirit.” The brunette answered quietly as a gentle knock distracted him for a bit from the Mass that was playing on the small T.V propped up to the wall. His emerald eyes peered at the door curiously before a nurse in her pristine white uniform came in, holding her usual clipboard and a small smile on her face. “How are you doing today Eren? Doing any better today?” she asked as she places down her clipboard to check on the one that was placed on a file holder at the foot of the brunette’s bed. Her eyes quickly scanned the paper, her brows frowning as she saw quite a few trips to the Otolaryngology Department, Orthopedics, Opthalmology…and the list goes on and on that it made her heart hurt a little. “I was only gone for a week and you’ve been having an excursion around the hospital?” Eren laughed a little, his frail form quaking lightly, before it exploded into small fits of coughs. The nurse, whom he came to know as Sasha after she was assigned to care for his well-being for the past 2 years already, was on his side almost immediately and supported his back. “Goodness, what in God’s name have been Connie doing when he substituted for me? Have you been drinking your meds?” The young teen heaved for a bit before laying back down to his bed. Connie, the one that took Sasha’s role while she went back to her home to take care of his sick mother, was a rather dense guy that loves immersing Eren with stories he’s not sure if they were real. So much that he sometimes forgets to ask Eren to drink his meds-unless the teen interrupts to tell him he needs his meds now. He definitely didn’t blame the guy for his health taking a rollercoaster turn for the past week. It was a rather usual event, for him at least. He would always have a ‘good week’, the one that makes him able enough to walk around his room to flex his sore muscles from laying down too much, and ‘hell weeks’ that would render him extremely weak to even get off the bed. This was one of those hell weeks he definitely wasn’t looking forward too, every single day. “N-No…h-he was fun to b-be with.” He answered finally after the strong coughs finally calmed down. “Fun is different from actually doing his job to keep your health on track. You’re about to have a surgery on 6 month time. We can’t have your health failing enough to move the date again. You know we can’t postpone it any longer Eren.” Sasha scolded him as she poured a glass of water and placing a straw before offering it to Eren. Eren accepted the glass gratefully before sipping. A small sigh escaping his lips as he shut his eyes, reveling into the coolness the glass of water provided him. “I-I know. But I can’t help it if I’m these weak. I’m just born the way I am. My own father can tell you that…that is if he’s actually around to talk to me-or tell you what is it wrong with me.” The teen stated, his tone hinting slight anger on his part. “Eren…” Sasha trailed, feeling sympathy to the troubled teen who had been admitted to the hospital even before she was hired as one of the nurses here. The Medical school she graduated into after a few number of years didn’t prepared her enough for an actual case she will be working on. More than a few almost organ failures, a weak body constitution, and a rare condition of being unable to stay under the sun was only a few of Eren’s unusual perks. It was something he was unfortunately gifted with when he was young, something his father told him that he inherited from his late mother. He’s not sure if he can call her his mother, when he didn’t even have any memory about her. Not that his father was any better. He was in fact alive, but Eren could count with his fingers alone the times that his father visited him in his little…prison. Not even Sasha, who was hired by his own father have seen the man for the past year. He was something everyone could call a miracle. A scientific fluke that made most of the doctors that have met him flabbergasted, since despite such quirks, he was still breathing. Still spending every single day away from the things he’d been craving for the past nineteen years of is life. “Eren…? Eren can you hear me?” Eren blinked a few times before his consciousness focused on Sasha who was waving her arms in front of him. He must’ve zoned out again. “Sorry…I was lost in thought.” “That’s okay…I just wanted to know if you have met your Heart Doctor already. The one that will fix your heart in no time so you can do more activities.” “Oh, is she supposed to come meet me?” He inquired curiously as she watched the nurse arranged the books he left on his lounge chair to the bookshelf he had propped up to the wall. Sasha shook her head as she took a seat beside Eren. “Not a she, a He.” “Oh.” He answered after a short pause, his eyes trained on the Mass Program at the T.V again. “Oh? Aren’t you curious on how hot he is?” Sasha inquired, arching her brows suggestively. Eren’s face turned a beet shade of red as he glared at the nurse. “I wasn’t going too.” “Oh, My bad…I’m going to be telling you anyways. So you’re lil’ maiden heart won’t be shaken in any way that could endanger your life. I heard from Doctor Hanji,” “The interesting lady from Pediatric Ward?” “Yeah, that Lady, that it was going to be Dr. Levi Ackerman.” “Levi?” Eren repeated, the name not ringing a bell. “Yeah. He’s a newbie that transferred from our sister hospital. Apparently, a close acquaintance of Doctor Hanji, and the proclaimed Mortal Enemy of Dr. Jean.” “Doesn’t tell anything about how he looked though,” Eren whispered low enough that he hoped Sasha wouldn’t hear, but the woman, being the woman she is, heard him loud and clear. “Oh, so you are interested.” The nurse concluded, folding her arms to her chest. Eren blushed in embarrassment before fumbling for the remote to change channels so he can distract himself. But Just as he was reaching for the remote, a knock echoed from the other side of the door, startling him. His fingers grazed the remote, making it tip down, but not after making the notebooks that were on top of it slide down. The domino effect created loud sounds that made Eren embarrassed for the person on the other side of the door. Sasha just laughed quietly beside him, her eyes brimming with tears with amusement. He glared at the nurse before muttering a reply to the person on the other side of the door. “C-Come in…” The man, who had to be an incarnation of an even more handsome version of Adonis walked into the room. He can’t helpbut let his jaw slack open as he waltzed in the room like he owned the place. Not like Eren would complain. Maybe he’ll pitch in and would want to be included on what the man owned. Who wouldn’t want to belong such man? He had the most perfect aristocratic nose, and sharp jaws that could kill. His eyes looked serious and bored at the same time as if there’s nothing in this world is entertaining enough to drew emotion from its gunmetal depths. His dark raven hair was slicked backed up in a militaryesque sense. His skin was pal-albaster white like some kid who was denied of any access to sunlight but still managed to rock his skin color. And don’t get him started on those lips. He couldn’t resist the urge and swallowed the lump that have formed on his throat and his lips that have dried from just staring at this perfect man that practically dropped a bomb of Seme Pheromones that had him swooning on spot. “Hey, kid, I’m asking you a question.” The Adonis spoke in a an annoyed, and yet still managed to sound hot, tone. The brunette blinked a few times at him, before his words finally sank to him. “I-I’m sorry…can you repeat that?” He asked shamefully, cheeks turning a dark shade of red. He fumbled through his bed covers and unfortunately caught Nurse Sasha’s eyes, who disguised her laugh on a fits of cough. He mentally rolled her eyes at him. Why didn’t she warned him that Dr. Levi would be this hot? I thought I was going to lose my breath…and my heart. A sudden cool feeling of a skin touching his forehead, made him tense up immediately. His eyes snapped up to the owner of the arm that brought a tingling feeling to his forehead…and throughout his body. The man’s crafted brows were frowning as he place his palms over his forehead. “Have you checked your temperature? DO you have a fever.” “N-No….D-doctor.” He retracted his hand, and Eren almost whimpered over the loss. There’s a strange urge of wanting to have the man’s on him always, and maybe….some place exciting. “Well your cheeks are really red, and you look like you could use some sick meds.” He let out a sigh and gave a doctor a small smile. “My skin is just kinda…special.” “So I’ve heard.” The man dismissed as if it was just something mundane. He stared at him in wonder and surprise. This was the first time…someone wasn’t weirded out of his peculiar condition. It was as if he can understand him…No. He quickly shook his head. Of course he would. He was a doctor after all. “I-uhm…can I ask why are you here…?” The man paused whatever he was fussing over his hospital records and arched a brow at him, and Gods didn’t he looked handsome even doing such simple thing. “Haven’t I told you that when I came in? I said I’m going to be your heart doctor.” Once again…Eren felt as if he just went to heaven and met the man of his dreams. This…this perfect of a man was going to be his heart doctor? Wouldn’t that be too dangerous? Because as the patient who will get his heart operated due to another complication, he felt as if it was on the verge of collapsing…once again. “I-I d-didn’t know.” “Well now you know…now please lift your hospital gown up.” Eren’s heart almost jumped out of hi ribcage at the doctor’s request. “P-Pardon?” The doctor casually wore his stethoscope and motioned at Eren. “Lift your shirt up. I need to check your heart.” Of course. He was a heart doctor. He was supposed to check his heart not check him out. “O-of course doctor.” He slowly pulled his gown from under the sheets up to his chest. He quickly averted his gaze as the doctor leaned in to place the stethoscope right above where his heart is. He silently prayed to the Gods above that his heart was calm enough to make it look like he wasn’t crushing ion the man hard. “H-how’s my heart d-doctor?” he practically squeaked out, much to the doctor’s surprise since he jolted back. He quickly fixed his Stethoscope back to his chest pocket and practically pulled my shirt down for me. He cleared his throat a few times before nodding. “Sounds good…but I heard you’d been slacking on your exercise and healthy diet again?” He froze on spot and smile sheepishly while giving Sasha the stink eye, “I-I don’t know about that d-doctor.” “Well,” the doctor pulled out his clipboard and flip a few pages, ”You missed your cardio exercise on Saturdays. Don’t use waking up late as an excuse.” He shook his head. He had a completely valid reason for that. “The trainor…give me the creeps. He keeps on touching me inappropriately.” He whispered in the lowest voice the man wouldn’t hear, but his sudden outburst proved otherwise. “What’s his name?” “I-uhm.” “Name Eren.” He shook his head to stop shivering at the way the doctor called his name. “I-uhm…The Blonde Buff guy…Oluo.” The man’s steel grey eyes hardened as he nodded stiffly. “I see.” He nervously fumbled through his fingers as he looked up at him warily. Why did he looked so angry? The raven head Adonis took a deep breath and flip through his clip board again. “What about your healthy meals, there a reason why you’re skipping them?” “I-uhm…” he tried to think of any lie to save his ass…but somehow he felt the urge to tell nothing but the truth to this doctor. He let out a defeated sigh before slumping his shoulders. “I-uhm…don’t particularly like the meal plan they set up for me. I-I mean…I do know that I really need it but..” he sighed again, feeling immensely down for some reason. It felt bad getting caught on laxing on his recovery when it comes to this doctor… “That’s fine. I’ll do something about it too.” “S-something?” he asked stuttering, “Starting tomorrow, I’ll be in charge of your fitness exercises and your meals.” “I-uhm-” “Do you have any objections?” He quickly shook his head. “N-No.” The raven Adonis nodded, “Good. I’ll see you on your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then we’ll proceed to some exercises on the gym at night. Nurse Sasha, take care of Eren.”The nurse nodded wordlessly and watched the raven Adonis waltzed his way out with the same shocked expression as the brunette. “D-Did that…just happened?” he asked in disbelief. “I think you just got yourself a food buddy…and a Gym date.”

BLOOD 03
“There has to be some kind of a mistake Erwin, I didn’t feel a single thing.” The raven exclaimed as he paced impatiently. “Not a single thing?” “DO I have to repeat myself?” The raven shot back, making the blonde man raise his brow in question. The raven was acting like when he had gone far too long without his beloved’s blood. He shifted in his inclined seat and folded his arms into his chest. He was acting in a rather aggressive manner. “I heard you, I was just making sure since we have scouted this hospital for two years already. This kid turning out to be nothing else despite the red flags from his records is unusual.” “It is. He was just twenty-one and he already had a handful of complications in his body. I was assigned to operate on his failing heart dammit. If he was a dhampir…that shouldn’t be the case. He should have healed those injuries long before it deteriorated to this point.” The raven cursed, his hands fisting. . “And that makes you feel?” The kid wasn’t the only one that is unusual. From the centuries he had spent with the him, the wars they have battled together, this was the first time he was actually being emphatic to someone else. A human to boot. A creature that belonged to the race that he had grown to be indifferent after the unfortunate case that took his mother's life away. The raven spins towards his direction, his gunmetal eyes glaring at him. “What do you mean by that?” The blonde leaned into his table and rested his chin into his folded hands, “From what I can see, we haven’t confirmed the kid’s vampirism through your natural instincts…but instead we tapped something else.” “Where are this questions coming from bushy brows?” the raven asked suspiciously. Erwin wasn't a pasychologist, but Levi is getting those vibesfrom him right now. “You are feeling…emphatic towards the human child, isn’t that something weird too?” The raven grew quiet as the question sunk in. Indeed, he was having this twinges of worry towards the kid. For a human that is not even half way of his expected life span, he had already experienced a whole lot. It was a miracle he could still look ethereal with those dam irresistible ocean eye-he held the thought back before he could completely conjure an image of the kid’s eyes into his mind. It couldn’t be. Towards a human? “Are you telling me that towards him…I-I?” The blonde nodded solemnly. For a vampire, caring for someone else aside from the closest circle is almost impossible. They weren’t dubbed as heartless creature that terrorized the human towns before, for nothing. They were indifferent towards anyone, de facto. Having some kind of an emotion other than their comrades or their family, could only mean one thing. Especially if you are unmated for so long. “You and that kid…are probably soulmates.” The words sat heavily into the raven’s cold heart. He slumped over the chairs that sat adjacent to the table heavily. He wanted to deny the fact. Refute the points with one of his own, but it just felt wrong. Somehow…denying a connection that wasn’t even there is a grave mistake. Something that he shouldn’t even be thinking about. “But…the connection. What you felt towards Armin and what my mother felt towards my father, that feeling that you guys have described upon meeting your mates…why didn’t I feel that?” The raven asked in frustration. It was a confusing feeling. Like there was something right in front of you, but you don't know what that is. Like having signs in front of you, but not knowing how to read it. Erwin definitely noticed the gears turning on the raven’s head. His confusion was palpable on his expression. As his friend who had witnessed how a person like Levi made decisions that will result to a patient regaining consciousness or remaining asleep for eternity, he sure looked like he had no choice. He cracked his knuckle as he took a few seconds to choose his words carefully. "Hypothetically, If I am to drain that green-eyed kid of his" In a blink of an eye, Levi was gone from his seat, and so was the blonde vampire. A loud crash echoed in the room as Levi slammed the blonde vampire before he could even complete his sentence. The concrete walls cracked from the sheer pressure and earned a pained grunt from the Blonde vampire. The raven’s clawed hands were wrapped around the blonde's neck in a choking grip, his eyes glowing a stark shade of red. His fangs were fully retracted as he snarled at the vampire he had on a tight choke hold. "Don't you even try to think about it Erwin..." Despite the pressure building up from the tight hold of the raven on his neck, Erwin managed to smile at the raven, "You ask me how you didn't feel the joy of meeting your pair, and yet you act as if I will actually do something bad to that green-eyed cutie of yours." “What do you mean, and don't call him a cutie” He snarled, his voice dangerously low. His most primal instincts were peeking out from that dark corner he had boxed them in. They were rearing their heads back at Levi who had thought that he no longer had a connection to this…dark side of his. They were all whispering in his ears as if they were a separate existence, urging him to rip the vampire’s throat. Dismember each limb and make him bleed in every way possible. Anything just to prevent him from doing the things he was about to utter. Theeres no way he should walk on the planes of h physical world over his threats over his- “What that green eyed boy meant to you…your instincts already answered your question Levi.” Erwin answered as he felt how the hold on his neck slowly loosen. Levi, who seemed to be shocked by his own action s dropped the blonde almost immediately. Shock dawned upon him as he took a few staggering steps back from the blonde vampire. He knew that Erwin wouldn't do such thing to...that kid, but when those words left his mouth, he felt an inexplicable urge to rip his throat out. It was a rage he had never felt before, not since he found out that the humans have burned their estate to the ground and killed off his parents. All for someone he doesn't know how he actually felt towards with. "Erwin I...” Levi starts to somehow apologize for his impulsiveness. This man had his back for centuries, there’s no way he’d ever do that to his…to Eren. “Don’t sweat it Levi, you know I’d do it for Armin too.” “But Eren…he isn’t like Armin. Eren is a human. You know how we can never form a bond with a human. It is just impossible. This isn't some fairytale sht where a vampire gets mated to the first human...that can never happen…our biology would never allow us to harbor feelings towards a human...so why did..." "Then perhaps there are things we don't know." Erwin answers as he fixed his tie, "What are you implying?" "Now that, is something we are going to find out. But first," Erwin stared at his wrist watch, "You have a breakfast to attend to." "Breakfast?" Levi turned to look at his own watch. He had no need to indulge himself with a human meal for he-A string of curses left his mouth when he realized what he needed to do. A string of curses in what sounded like french escaped his thin lips when he realized it was already 8:30 in the morning. Had he and Erwin talked for that long? He reached for his lab coat and quickly wore it over his dress shirt. "We'll continue this later Erwin, " he shouted behind his back as he dashed through the hallways. The blonde vampire laughed lightly as he shook his head, he arranged his coat as much as he could before his beloved could arrive to bring their breakfast. He would be very upset if he saw him rough-housing with Levi once again. He had always explained to that beloved of his that he was a vampire-like him, and this was nothing- “And yet the wall obviously suffered.” A voice reprimands making Erwin look-up from his table. He felt himself relax into his swivel chair as he took in the sight of his beloved in light pink uniform of a nurse, he licked his lips in the most subtle way he can and kept all his thoughts on peeling it from his mate’s skin and bending him over his- “Erwin.” His beloved reprimanded him yet again. “Yes, your highness?” he jested as he leaned his chair back to give his mate a space to sit on his lap. Frown marred his mate’s soft’s feature but he still looked as beautiful as he did when he first saw him on the party of the Baron of Cornwell. His soul getting sucked out of his body would be totallyworth it if he did spent his last day on earth with his beloved. “Did you and Levi fought again?” A lie was on the tip of his tongue, but there’s no going about his beloved, he can never keep any thought from him anyway, “Good Thing you know, so how about you start over with that explanation again, something that didn’t involve a fictional creature called Titan attacking you in your office.” Erwin laughed lightly as he kissed the temples of his mate, “Ah, I’ll do anything you’d ask of me mon cher.”

BLOOD 04
Eren had always tried to keep himself busy for an entire night due to the restrictions his peculiar condition that had effectively flipped his schedule from inside out. Unlike normal teens around his age, he’s not alive during the death of day just because he was out watching something suspicious to avoid their parent’s watchful eyes or out getting wasted in a party. He’s usually awake during midnight, since only then, would he be able to do anything he wanted without fearing any accidental encounters that might hurt his skin, A.K.A, The all mighty sunlight. It was something unheard of, at least not for the last century wherein humans still rally to burn vampires on a stake. He was twelve when he thought of himself as such. After a bad movie marathon of Underworld and Interview with a Vampire, he became half-convinced and half-crazed over the fact that he might just be one. I mean, what kind of person would have such condition that will deprive him from getting Vitamin D that will help him to be an able adult? The only thing that convinced him otherwise, would be the fact that he had no urge to drink blood. Ever since he can remember, he had always felt extremely queasy when it comes to blood. It must’ve been his mind’s form of coping to the accident that had taken his mother and his memories of her, altogether. At least that’s what his father, A.K.A the Miracle Doctor. He had always despised such namesake of his father. Afterall, how could you call him a Doctor who performs miracle when he can’t even save his own wife-or cure his own kid? Eren was leaning more to the former. He didn’t care if he forever suffered on not being able to stay under the sunlight…as long as he could have his mom…or even keep memories of her. Because even if his father allowed him to keep a thousand pictures of her…she still felt more of a stranger…than someone who gave birth to himm afterall he almost had no memories of her....except for some quick snips he came to remember. SHe was like a....stranger, but he can’t help but keep her picture to his bedside and greet her every time he wakes up.
A beautiful woman, with the warmest pair of light colored eyes were staring back at him, wearing the widest smile as her long dark hair curled around a younger version of him. They were in their kitchen, as his father had told him, cooking something for his seventh birthday. Hours before they went on a trip that only him and his father would return to. “Hi Mom, A brand new day for me again today, huh?” He whispered, caressing the treasure that have since long accompanied him on his days inside the clad white fortress of the hospital walls. He was met with silence, and the low hum of the water dispenser at the corner of his room, before Sasha made her presence known. “Oh, You’re up Eren.” Sasha commented as she drank from her steaming cup of coffee, “Just in time for your Schedule.” He frowned as he stretched his legs for a bit, a small yawn escaping his lips. “Schedule?” He quickly did an internal check if he was supposed to have a check-up today. His appointment to the dermatologist wasn’t due for another day, neither was his Eye doctor. He gave Sasha a side glance, making the nurse roll her eyes. “Gym date with Daddy Long Legs, remember?” the nurse supplied, joggling his memory that had him blushing a deep shade of red. “It is not a date, ” he insisted despite the traces of red that rose up his cheeks. “Oh, not a date, hmm? Then why did you ask me to wash your Green shirt that I have complimented you that made your green-eyes pop, Hmm? And you are awfully glowing than you used today too huh, your cheeks are tinted with a lovely shade of pink and red.” She stated innocently, obviously knowing well why, but chose to act all coy to make him more embarrassed than he already is after hearing it out loud. “I am not red.” He was, the heat he can feel was an evidence of that, but not that he’ll admit out loud. Sasha flashed him a smile as she laid the ultimate green shirt that made his green eyes pop and a matching fit gym shorts. Shorter than the ones she usually arrange for him when he needs to go to that Gym Date with that creepy fitness trainer. “Sasha, this goes above my knees.” He complains weakly as he hold the soft material in his hands. Sasha raised his brows suggestively, “Oh is it? I didn’t notice…but wouldn’t that make your cute little bubble butt pop?” “Sasha!” “What? I only speak of the truth you wee one. This suits your legs that could go on for days that I’m so jealous I could cut them and replace them with mine.” She grovels as she pulls out a gym bag from under the bed. “I’ll just pretend you didn’t just threaten to amputate my legs,” Eren stated rolling his eyes at his cheeky nurse, “but why are you pulling out a gym bag I totally have never seen neither used before?” Sasha flashes him a smile again as she pulls out a gym bag and places it on top of Eren’s covered legs with a proud smirk on her face, “Of course so you can try using the Gym Locker Room.” He groaned. “And why am I going to use the Gym Locker room for the first time ever?” Sasha rolled her eyes at him, “Of course so you can check out Daddy Long Legs, it’s illegal to take someone else’s nude pictures without them knowing, so I’ll settle for the tiniest dirty details so make sure to commit it to your memory.” AT this point, Eren’s cheeks were as deep red as they could be, he was so hot all over he felt like he’s going to have a fever. He could even feel that strange feeling he was about to have a nose bleed, Sasha was being overly graphic today. “Isn’t a patient making romantic relationships with Hospital Staffs Illegal too?” Sasha rolled her eyes, again as she stuff a few fluffy towels in the bag, “God, I’m surprised you don’t even know that cause that is some crappy rule that is obviously not religiously followed here. Fingers in my hands and feet wouldn’t be enough to count the number of couples that spring out from someone being the patient of the other. That’s obviously bullsht Eren, at least in this hospital. You know Historia?” Eren scrunched his brows as he racked his head to remember the name, “The girl who needed a physical therapy after her car accident?” “Yeah, that sweet girl. Guess Who’s she engaged to now.” Eren gasped, “H-Her…physical Therapy nurse? Nurse Ymir?” Sasha beamed at him and nodded, “I attended their bridal shower last week. They’re having a beach wedding this fall.” Eren’s mouth formed an O, as he felt a sudden wave of sadness sweep over him. “That…that must’ve been nice.” Sasha went quiet for a while, before she placed an arm on Eren’s shoulders, “Remember what I told you?” Eren sighed as he repeated the words Sasha practically ingrained in his mind, “To not be miserable for what I can’t have, but to feel blessed on what I have.” “That’s right, and your current blessing is daddy long legs.” Eren groaned, “Will you stop it? We don’t even know if he’s gay, or if he at least finds me attractive.” Sasha gasped as she placed a hand over her heart as if Eren hurt her, “Honey, that’s an insult to people who find you breath taking, and as for your daddy Long legs? He definitely bats on your team. I could feel it, my gaydar is pinging on him hard.” Eren laughed, “I don’t know if I can trust your gaydar on this Sasha.” “No, I’m One Million percent sure, my almost 10 years of fujoshi experience tells me so. He’ll definitely find you attractive especially if you wear this. Oh Yes he will, ” Sasha states nodding as she raise the booty shorts in the air. “Ugh. Even if let’s say he’s gay, what if I’m not his type, what if I embarrass myself?”
“Well, we can’t do something about that,” she trails as she zip the bag close “But I hope Daddy Long Legs find your clumsiness, awkwardness, all the ness, cute and will decide to make a move.” Eren let out a groan and shoved his face into the pillows. Sasha had always been the kind of nurse that would shamelessly pry every little thing from him. She was the first of his nurses that found out that he actually pitches on a different team. She’d had always been passive on the guys he likes since they were usually assholes who only flirts with him to get into his pants. She was feared by most of the male nurses and was even nick-named a ‘Tiger Mom’. This is actually the first time she was invested to make a guy he likes, likes him back. “I don’t want to see him today.” He replied, the words incomprehensible since it was muffled by his pillows. “I didn’t understand a single word you said.” Sasha sing-songs making him groan, something that is slowly being a habit whenever the Dr. Daddy-Long-Legs is up for discussion. That, or when Sasha is annoying her into moving when in fact, he felt like a noodle and doesn’t want to move a single inch. “Get your face of the pillow and freshen up. You should eat something light before hitting the gym.” He grumbled like a kid kicking up a tantrum. “Well you can’t skip your meal, and neither your Exercise. Your operation is only a hop and a skip away. You have to be physically fit so Dr. Levi can work his magic on your heart.” He groaned again. He already did. It feels like when he first watched Aquaman all over again. Every little part of his gay af brain is getting infected by little to extreme thoughts of a guy who wouldn’t bat an eyelash at him. A completely straight guy. He doesn’t want to be the type who would want to seduce a straight guy, and pull him to dark side, but Gods, those gun metal eyes and aristocratic face does a number to him that makes him pull out his inner whoere. What more if he saw him outside of the generic white lab coat? His heart might just collapse. “Eren, eat your energy bars.” He glared at Sasha, his stubbornness coming out to play once again, ”What if I don’t want to?” The nurse took a different stance and gave Eren a look of her own, daring the teen. Eren swallowed the lump on his throat, wishing that his glare was as intense as it was before. Ever since Sasha introduced herself as Eren’s personal nurse, he swore that she looked anything but that. Expertise wise, she’s overqualified as a nurse, but when you really, look at her, you’d think otherwise. Sasha was slim on the side, but she still gives off this…dangerous aura that would have any guy running for the hills. Well, he would too. If only he can just haphazardly run out of his room. Agonizingly silent seconds passed, not one of them breaking the staring contest, with Eren trying his very best to not look away from his nurse’s laser eyes. Eren was so close on giving up, when a knock reverberated from the other side of the door, making Sasha turn to the door. Eren slumped on the bed, silently cheering on his small victory. The internal small victory party that was cut short when the world’s hottest gym outfit model came knocking at his door, sporting a set of simple clothes that shouldn’t look that hot on a person. Are biceps supposed to look like that hot? He couldn’t even stop his jaw from slacking open when the hot gym outfit model spoke some words that may as well be a gospel, but he would still be too brain fried to make sense out of it.
Allelujiah.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
BLOOD 05
Levi hadn’t paid much attention to Eren’s former gym trainer, but after seeing what seemed to be his usual gym outfit, he was certain he was going to murder the guy. The sight should only be reserved for him. He was wearing a loose fitting green top minus the sleeves that made his already bright eyes pop. And damn, he never thought in his life that wearing a short could be a sin. It made every curve of his body more pronounced, and such an enticing view to look at. “I uhm, Is my choice of clothing okay? I didn’t know what you have planned so I grabbed the nicest one I had.” The brunette explained shyly as he rubbed the back of his neck. Levi almost growled in some sort of primitive possessive way if he wasn’t already gritting his teeth, he looked more than nice. It was worth it waiting for him to get out of the bathroom. He looked delicious enough for him to sink his fangs into, and No, not to hurt him in any way. He’ll make sure that they’ll both enjoy it. “You look good Eren,” he praised simply, holding back the ‘good enough to lick and nip’ comment to himself. Something told him that Eren wasn’t that used to compliments since despite the mundane words he used, the brunette flushed into a beautiful shade of red. He hugged the small gym bag he had in his hands to his chest before muttering an almost inaudible, “You look great too Levi.” Could he get more adorable than he already is? He gave him one of his rare smiles which is more of a lope sided smirk that is barely noticeable unless you squint, before reaching for his bag. “Let me bring that for you.” Eren’s eyes widened as he hugged the bag closer, “Oh-I-uhm I could bring this-wherever we are going. As long as it isn’t upstairs since I can’t stand the sun and I-uhm-” “Eren chill out. Stop being adorable and give yourself a space to breathe. I won’t bring you upstairs, I’m already informed of your condition so I know the drill more or less. Do you have any other allergies of some sort?” The nurse beside him snort-coughed-snickered but he didn't gave her any recognition. Eren flushed harder but took a breathe as the raven had instructed him. His death grip on the bag loosened a little as he shook his head. “No…uhm…No allergies. Except for the sun that is-but you won’t be feeding me those so-I…uhm gonna shut up now.” The raven raised a brow at him, “You are being adorably chatty today Eren, where were you hiding all your vocabulary yesterday?” He teased, warmth spreading his chest as he watched how his eyes would widen comically, his mouth slacking open slightly. It was a wrong move though, since now, he was staring intently at his plump reddish lips. He didn’t know sht about make-up and all that jazz, but one thing’s for sure, his lips didn’t need those since it was already kissable as it is now. His mind raced immediately on imagining how would it feel to take them with his own…would he gasp in surprise if he sink his fangs lightly in between those plump lips of his, would he shudder if he-“Dr. Levi? I think someone’s calling you on your phone,” He ripped his stare from the brunette’s lips, the reality that he wasn’t actually indulging himself with the brunette’s lips crashing into him. He let out a small French curse before his ears suddenly tuned in to the blaring ringtone of his cellphone.

Yes I want some new face
He fumbled between his pockets as the embarrassing tune of Psy’s new face echoed in the empty hallways of the floor. He cursed the four-eyed creature into changing his default ring tone into some Korean’s guy hit pop into eternal damnation. “I’ll take this call for a sec okay?” The brunette nodded wordlessly as he stepped out to finally shut the blaring ringtone off. He clicked his tongue in annoyance as he placed it right at his ear. “Someone better be bleeding or dying.” He practically growled into the speaker. The four-eyed creature cackled at the other line as she shuffled about wherever the hell she was. ‘Someone isn’t dying, but I definitely found something interesting.’ “What, That Dodo birds still exist?” he snapped impatiently. He sneaked a glance back at the brunette, and he was still standing where he left him, though he looked more nervous than he was before. He cursed silently. “Wait, That’s interesting huh. Should I check it out if they really vanished from the face of the earth?” she asked with obvious enthusiasm. Due to some bad luck for things he have unknowingly done is his life, he unfortunately became friends with this four eyes and had suffered centuries worth of her eccentricity. “Hanji.” He snapped. “Fine, Fine I was kidding, but I might try if I get them to approve my vacation-” “I’m hanging up.” He deadpanned and was about to end the call when Hanji suddenly exclaimed, “WAIT! WAIT! It’s about your pretty-eyed kid!” He felt his shoulders tense up as he glanced at the bright-eyed kid, “What about him?” he asked in a serious tone, “is there something wrong with him?” “Other than the heart you are scheduled to replace in a few months, nothing crucial actually.” “Hanji, I swear to whatever deity that is floating in the cosmos, to every saint that the humans have created over the years, I will end you if another string of useless words get out from your mouth.” He seethed. But of course, the four-eyed beast will not take her seriously, he could practically hear her pout from the other line. “I am not, I have some important information about the Kids last living parent, Dr. Grisha.” “What about him?” He asked, other than him being the possible vampire sire of his bright-eyes, he had no clue who the man was. “Levi, he’s a full-blooded vampire.” Levi’s blood ran cold, his head snapped at the direction of the teen. “Can you fvcking repeat that Hanji?” “According to may contact that have been here for a while, Eren’s father, Dr. Grisha, is a full-blooded vampire.” Of-fvcking course. He had always had his hunch that it would either be him, or Eren’s mother. But given that she already supposedly perished and vampires are usually tough motherfvckers, it was less likely that she was a pure-blooded vampire. However, that doesn’t decrease the chances of Eren inheriting something from his parents, Grisha especially. Dhampir or a pure blood, Eren shouldn’t be suffering from mundane diseases, except sunlight. He shouldn’t have the need to have a heart transplant for fvcks sake. Something happened to his mate caused by someone. “Find someone to track that Old man, and someone to gather some info about his mother Carla. There should be a fvcking reason why my mate is like this.” “Got it, I’ll call you again.” Hanji quickly terminated the call but his anger remained. He curled his hands into the phone before squeezing it until he heard a small crack. He was livid. They have harmed his beloved, they did something to him that made him weaker than a human. He snap his eyes shut and tried counting in his mother tongue to try and calm the fvck down. Eren’s already nervous as he was now, he didn’t need a dominant vampire going on a blood lust around him. He needed a calm and caring Levi, not someone who would most probably kill his father on sight kind of Levi. He started counting in French in his mind as he took deep breathes. “Dr. Levi?” a small meek voice called just as he felt a warm touch covering his right arm. His head snapped to Eren’s direction, and his anger melted into a puddle the moment he saw the concern marring his features. His fingers danced across his skin as he repeated his question, “Is something wrong Dr. Levi? You looked…troubled.” He was, but now it was more of an afterthought. Is this what Erwin had been telling him that even a single touch could do the most wonderful things? Cause damn, he was only holding his arm but Levi was over the clouds. He needed more. Levi turned towards him and placed a hand that was resting on his arm, “I’m fine Eren, just got a call…from a crazy Lady friend.” Eren’s eyes shifted into his, burning a brighter shade of green as he repeated his last words with a slight edge, “lady friend?” Levi felt his chest tighten, was that jealousy he heard in his tone…? On their still unknown state as to why Eren was neither a human or a dhampir, their bond is almost next to non-existent. Even as a pureblood, Levi could only feel the instinct and desire to protect his mate. The ability to feel the emotions or the ability to read the thoughts of their partner that usually comes along on being bonded to someone, was not in place. But his mate still felt the instinct to monopolize him despite not knowing that the bond was there. “Yeah. Dr. Hanji from the pediatric ward. I requested for your records from when you were younger so I can keep an eye on what we should do, and shouldn't do.” Blood rose up to his cheeks, turning it into a adorable shade of red that made levi's fanggs ache again. He gritted his teeth and forced himself and his libido to stand down as his mate flushed in embarassment. He tucked his chin down, looking all shy annd fragile as he fiddled with the straps of his bag. "O-oh. That's fine." Levi's eyes narrowed as he smiled lightly, "Yeah. I only contact her when I need some stuff to be done." "Random stuff?" Eren asks in a small voice, his shoulders tensing up. Levi nods. "Random stuff like records of my patients that used to have her as a doctor," Eren nodded again, his shoulders evening out. "Oh...I-I see. That's okay too." Levi didn't have much patience especially when it comes to other people. He despises and loathes with evrything in his existence when people tend to beat around the bush and play verbal dodge ball with him. but when it comes to Eren, a person whose existence matters the most to him, he could do this charade all day. He will do everything if it means that his mate's fears and doubts wil get erased. It was quite amusing that his mate thinks that he'll have an eye for anyone other than him. There's no vampire in existence that could resist the pull of a Beloved. The moment they come in contact with each other, they will be like opoosite poles of magnets. Inseparable, and would always and undoubtedly gravitate towards each other. However, there are vampires that liked playing around and would get humans pregnant before spiriting the resulting offspring away. It wasn't exactly frowned upon since Dhampirs could be turned into a Pureblooded one if they met their soulmate, and since it provides a wider gene pool within their species. Dhampir sires are usually killed, gien that they survive birthing the Dhampir child. It sounded heartless and monstrous, but Extreme caution is observed under such circumstances since it could lead to humans discovering their species and might lead to their extinction. With those laws strictly passed by the Elders. Levi was surprised Carla, Eren's mother, was able to raise him until he was seven since she supposedly died, due to an incurable illness. Tch. "So, any questions you'd like for me to answer?" he asks to humor his mate. "I-uhm," he stutters blushing hard again, "where are we going to do our...gym...gym appointment?" Levi placed an arm to the small of his back, his eyes not missing the way the brunette automatically leaned into his touch, "Now that's something I'd rather show than tell." "Wow..." Eren whispered breathlessly as they stepped inside the room, completely amazed. Surprisingly, Levi was too. Mike did a good job furnishing this room in only a few hours. The windows completely refracts the UV Rays without compromising the visibility of the Glass. The Sakura tree and the small garden surrounding it was still visible from the room and provides a good view without having to go outside. It wasn't exactly spacious, but it was enought to fit a few gym equipment inside the room such as a threadmill and a few weights in the corner. The Laboratory tables that used to function as a sink station was turned into a pseudo countertable with a single electric stove on the side. There's also a small friidge that he hoped were full with fresh water. Levi leaned into the door frame as Eren took a few more steps inside and did a quick look around with a smile in his face. He walked closer to the window, but stopped a few steps and looked back at him, as if asking for approval. He nodded in confirmation and watched as Eren practically pushed his face towards the window. "Don't worry about any sunlight peeking in here, this room is fully proofed of any UV Rays. You can look into the window without worrying about your allergy," He said the last words with a hint of animosity. That couldn't be possible, but he'll play around with what his medical records say, until he can confirm himself what had happened. He was quite disturbed when he felt how tense Eren was when they used the elevator to go to the upper floor. His fingers practically dug into his skin as he almost curled into a small ball beside him. He knew words would be completely useless since the fear Eren had must be skin-deep. He needed a physical assurance that nothing will happen to him. So he pulled a hoodie from his bag and placed it over Eren as they walked through the hallways. A few people stopped to stare at them but he didn't give a damn. Their discomfort does nothing to him than Eren does. They could think of him smuggling a criminal in the hospital, but there's no way he'd let Eren be uncomfortable. "When did you do all this?" He asked clearly in awe as he slumped on a blue green bean bag looking so fvcking adorable with that child-like wonder in his eyes. He swore that he'd make it a point to help Eren get over his fear without compromising his safety. Even if it would mean that they'd UV-Proof all windows. His mate deserved more than being imprisoned like some Rapunzel on that room. Damn it. He's starting to reference those disney shts and turning all sappy. "I wish I could take the credit, but we'll have to give my friend Mike that." he answers feeling a slight jealousy for some unjustified reasons. He just didn't like other guys impressing his mate. "That's still awesome for you to do all this for me," Damn. His mate is good for his ego. "o-of course your friend too. No one had ever done this far to do this kind of things for me. My-uhm...Former Fitness Trainor had a hard time adjusting with my schedule and would often get mad. That's it. That puny human who thought he could bully his mate just because he had an unusual disposition will have what's coming for him, and he wouldn't like it. "DId he hurt you in any way?" Any cosmic deity knows, Levi would consider the option of murdering him if he did so. His firends wouldn't say a damn word and would even help him bury the body somewhere else for someone else to NOT to discover. Eren shook his head, "I-uhm. Not really. He just adds more weight to my dumbelss...and when I have trouble doing it...he'll I-" Eren curled into a ball that made Levi sat on one knee and provide some close comfort. "Tell me anything Eren. I couldn't do something about it if you don't tell me." Eren let's out a soft sigh as he shook his head, "You don't have to do anything about it. It is my problem after all, and besides you're going to replace him now right? I don't know why, but I feel safer with you Dr. Levi." He whispers the last part as he scoots closer to Levi until their knees were resting against each other. Levi couldn't help but feel his chest somewhat puff in pride on his mate's statement. His mate trusts him and had no issues on making contact with him. Thank the Heavens. He didn't think he would be able to take it if his mate would be uncomfortable in his presence. He let's out a sigh as he shook his head, "I'll respect your decision, you don't have to tell more until you feel comfortable yourself, not because I asked you to. But you'll have to tell me if he comes into contact with you again or do anything out of hand. I'll always come to help you." Eren nods, that sweet smile that faded a few moments again returning to blind him once again. "Okay Dr. Levi-" "Levi. Just Levi is okay." he added almost immediately. His smile brightens even more as he nodded. "Okay, Levi."
Damn. Since when did it felt this good to be named Levi?

BLOOD 06
He’s really nice.
He looks more than nice. His Biceps and other muscles he had the opportunity to stare at looked as if they were crafted by the Gods. With an ebony like complexion that suited his overall aristocratic look, He looked as if he was crafted by the Gods. He smells more than nice. He smells like the first permeating scent of the tea when you first soak it with hot water-If that makes sense. He wasn’t that much fan of teas and recently indulged himself with it after Sasha started replacing the coffee sticks with Tea Bags since it was healthier. And His voice is more than nice. It was the right mix of a low treble, and a small rasp on the end like he was always mad or something. Still, he swore he could listen to it for days reading random signs and he wouldn’t get bored. Is single, And apparently, knows how to cook? As much as he aced brewing tea, he couldn’t cook for himself to save his life. Eren let another inner groan as he slumped on one of the high stools in the room. The centralized aircon in the room was working fine, but Eren feels as if his cheeks was on fire. Dr. Le-Levi, keeps on exceeding his expectations that it hurt to be in his presence and slowly starting to like him like even more. He was nothing like the guys he used to like and failed to date. He takes care of him in a way that it doesn’t crowd him. He respects his decisions and lets him decide on things that will affect him greatly. He wanted to do something about his former Trainor since he tend to get really handsy during their sessions…but Levi was replacing anyway. He won’t get to see him again, and that’s enough. For now, he’ll enjoy the time he will spend with this guy for as long as his heart would let him. He peeked under his lashes as the raven doctor threw some pepper on the salmon he was searing. No one told him that not the fire alone could make cooking hot. He lifted an arm and fanned himself lightly. “Sht. Is the fire smoke getting to you?” The raven asked almost immediately. If he wasn’t already sitting, he could’ve melted into a goo of nothing. He shake his head quickly and flailed his arms in panic, “I just…Uh, feel dizzy, yeah T-that. Do we have beverages here? ‘ll get some, do you want some too?” A look of amusement reflected on the Raven doctor’s gunmetal eyes that made him blush and look away, “Water is good for me, but fruit juice for you if there’s some inside.” He nodded without a word and pushed himself off the chair. Not after almost stumbling and falling flat on his face, of course. Luckily, he was able to brace his palms on the countertop. He gave the doctor a small smile as he stopped dead in his tracks from lunging towards his direction. He quickly turned to take the beverages from the mini-fridge before he could let himself fall again, and hope that the doctor would catch him. He was having too much shameful thoughts around this guy. UGH. He pulled the fridge door open and peeked inside. He let out a small happy sigh as the cold gust of air cooled his cheeks a little. He indulged himself for a few more seconds before he reached for an Orange Juice for him, and Water for the raven doctor. He bit his lip lightly as he debated on sitting on the opposite side, or just planting himself beside the doctor. “The Salmon’s good, we can have our breakfast now. I hope I didn’t make you wait long, sit here.” The doctor offers tapping the seat of the chair that is really, really close to where he was currently sitting. Eren swallowed the forming lump in his throat and stiffly decided on sitting beside the doctor. Obviously not because he wanted to, but because he offered. He uncapped the orange juice and took small sips as the Raven placed a still sizzling salmon on top of a ceramic plate in front of him. He stayed silent although his eyes almost bugged out of their sockets as the raven reached on the other side for the limes. Despite the orange juice running down his esophagus, he swore he felt it dry up when the doctor unintentionally flexed his arms. His mind got caught up on the mouth-drying view that he fell into fits of cough when he was too absent minded to swallow the juice. He lurched forward and covered is mouth as he almost spitted the juice onto his plate. His body shook on each cough as he struggled to swallow the water that went on the wrong pipe. The doctor lets go of the limes and quickly supported his back and tapped it lightly as he coughed. “Don’t stop it, let yourself cough even if it would spill liquid anywhere- I don’t care. It’s your body’s response to help flush the liquid down. It’s fine, it will go away soon.” He wanted to say sorry but he was still occupied with all the coughing, so he just nodded. Soon enough, his coughs lessened until it was nothing. Levi offered his bottled water, the one that is already open, and probably have been drunk by him, making his eyes widen again, “Drink some water, your throat must’ve felt rough and kinda acidic.” He wanted to make a comment that it was his water, and that he could get his own, but It was already offered right at his mouth, his lips closing in and drinking the only factor missing. He blinked a few times before leaning in wordlessly, and slowly drank. He watched the raven as he stared at him as if he was some olympic champ. He was only drinking his water, and he looked as if he did something so out of this world and profound. He tapped the water after a few sips making the doctor pull it off his lips. He wiped his mouth with a tissue that the doctor also offered and let out a sigh. “T-thanks.” “ You're Welcome, next time drink slowly okay?” He nodded obediently again, and watched as Levi picked up the Lime that have fallen on the floor. This time, instead of giving into temptation, he quickly closed his eyes and looked away. He started reciting bible verses in his mind as the sounds of a sink opening and water gushing out played in the background. Only did he open his eyes was when the doctor was sitting beside him again. “I’ll add some lime on mine, makes it a little zesty and citrusy, you want some on yours?” He nodded without a word and took the lime on his offered hands. He feared that his voice might break with all the supposedly non-romantic stuff that should have no meaning, happening around them. He squeezed the lime over a fork to prevent the seeds into getting in his food. He sliced the salmon with a knife and took a taste with. His eyes widened as he felt his taste buds got overwhelmed with an explosion of zest, pepper and the natural taste of the salmon. He audibly moaned as he shoved another bite into his mouth. “Mhm…Doctor Levi this tastes like heaven.” He exaggerates genuinely. The raven arches a brow at him, “Thanks, but I thought I told you to call me Levi only?” He squirmed in his seat as he picked at the sauté vegetables on the side, “Isn’t that a little…unprofessional to call you that?” It also felt strangely intimate…not that it felt wrong…it was the opposite actually…but he didn’t want the doctor to think that he was over familiarizing too quickly. He could be a little clingy, especially with a handful of friends that he got and his adopted sister who visits during the weekends. “I didn’t hear you complain when you called me Levi a few moments ago.” He retorted. He blushed, “That-I was-” The raven laughed lightly, “It’s okay Eren. I’m just kidding. You can call me whatever you want,” Even Daddy Long Legs? He asked in his mind, before scolding himself on it felt. He’s blaming Sasha for putting those words in his mind. “Levi or Dr. Levi, works for me. Just don't be to tense okay? We're here to improve your health, and that includes one state of mind." But there's no way i'd be able to have a sane state ofmind around you. He added in his mind groaning inwardly. "O-Okay, uhm...Levi." "No problem Eren, finish your breakfast Eren so we can go about how we're going to proceed with the Exercise aspect of your days." he then flashed him one of his heart-stopping smile before going back to his own plate. Good Lord. Let me have a sane state of mind around this fine piece creation of yours. "Since you have gym experience before this, I think you'd be able to handle medium intensity work out, I take it?" the raven doctor asks as he places a clean white notepad on top of a table. Eren nods as he popped a few almond nuts in his mouth. Levi made it very clear that he shouldn’t make it a habit snacking on confectionary and sugary treats. A little bit here and there is fine, but snacking on healthy nuts such as almonds is preferable. He would usually fight tooth and nail when it comes to his sugary treats, Sasha always give him hell for his hidden contrabands, but the worry shining through his silver eyes compelled him to stay silent and just follow him. At this point, Eren thought that he might just agree to everything the man that will ask him to, and that surprised him a little. Sasha had always called her a brat every time she finds hidden Reese’s or Hershey’s Kisses inside his pillow cases. He wasn’t much a cleaner of his room, that was more of Sasha’s peace of mind, but for the first time in forever, he actually thought that he should clean his room himself. Levi looked like the type who would worry about that, since he had watched the raven as he clean each and every nook and cranny of the place where they ate. He quickly took a quick To-Do note in his mind to clean his room. God knows how many Hershey’s foil was inside the vase beside his bed. “I came up with this small training program just in case I won’t be here to supervise you." He nodded despite the inkling fear that he might dislocate a bone or two if he do exercise alone. "Great." he replied, before chuckling as he stared at his face. "I can see the gears practially turning in your head Eren. Don't worry, we won't do anything difficult. What were doing here is to make you physically fit for your operation, not the opposite." He sighed as he nodded again. Levi is better-if not the best choice- than his last trainor, but he just can't help it but feel worried. He was also nice to him during the first days...before he started getting handsy. Just the thought of remembering those days he always dreaded brings physical shivers to him. He never dared to say anything to Sasha, he knew what she was capable of. But his former trainor has connections to the Director, he'll boot Sasha to the curb if he made a complaint. He didn't want to put Sasha through that, she was still paying the mortgage of the house of her parents. He was a man. He can make it through this. Just small touches, no matter ho it made his skin crawl, wasn't worth it compared to is favorite nurse loosing her job. "Eren?" he blinked a few times, his consciousness returning to the present as he focused back to Levi who was kneeling beside him. "Are you okay? I was calling your name for a few timsnow but you weren't responding." "I-uhm....zoned out a bit." Levi pursed his lips as he stared at Eren intently. He knew what he wanted to say even without speaking. He wanted to know what was bothering him. But Levi would be another Sasha he wanted to protect. This should be something he'l have to work on his own. No one should be involved. He flashed him a small smile. "I'm okay." "Eren. I told you this before, and I will tell you again. You can tell me anything. I'm your friend. I will do anything for a friend." Somehow. The rose-tinted glasses that had been shrouding Lev-Dr. Levi as he admired at him from afar, shattered. Of course that was it. How stupid of him to think it was something beyond that. He was his patient-then his friend. They only just met for God's sake so why was he acting like an overly attached lover? SO much for a Gym Date....was it.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
BLOOD 07 "Unless...you don't consider me a friend?" he played coyly, seeing how Eren visibly deflated. “Of course Dr. Levi, I also consider you as a friend.” he felt a whoosh of breath leave his lungs as he allowed himself to breathe again. It felt kinda nice to hear him confirm that, they had to start somewhere before he profess his growing feelings for him. He obviously wanted to be something more to the teen, but he couldn't just jump into him with guns blazing. He's not even sure if the brunette knows anything about vampires, his father being one, or that he was bonded to one. He poked the Salmon with his fork again and shoved it into his mouth. It was so-so and provides a minuscule satisfaction to his palate, but his mate looked like he was enjoying it, so maybe he did a good job. Blood was the biggest part of his diet and gives him the necessary nutrients to slow down his aging and accelerate his healing. He also wanted to test if it would have significant effect to his mate, but it wasn’t some everyday topic that he could discuss with someone who didn’t know that they have vampire blood coursing in their veins. Eren was a good kid and would not blatantly accuse him of being crazy, but he would definitely feel awkward around him. He would just have to spice their meals up- a medium rare steak perhaps, and see if it would improve his condition slightly. But he’ll have to hunt a very healthy cow with his own hands and cook it personally for his own peace of mind. He wouldn’t want others to handle his meal-nor his mate’s for that matter. He frowned a little when he sensed how quiet his mate was ever since he zoned out. There's definitely something that's bothering him, and he'll get the bottom of that. But fvck, his beloved's temperature was significantly lower than he used to, and he can almost the salty taste in the air. Sht. He cursed lightly to turn into his mate. He felt as if someone sucker punched him in the gut so hard that it actually hurt, he felt a part of him break and rage when he saw crystal tears rolling down his cheeks as he haphazardly wipe it with the back of his hands. “Sht. Eren, are you, okay? Does anything hurt?” He didn’t answer verbally and shake his head side to side, pushing him away slightly. “You have to tell me if anything hurts so I could do something about it.” He almost begged as he tried to get closer again. He’ll do anything within his ability to fix it. His mate shouldn’t be crying over something other than happiness. But despite his efforts to physically console him, he just scooted far away and wiped the tears that made his now gloomy bright eyes red and puffy. “I-I’m okay, I just bit my tongue and it kinda hurt. I’m okay.” He was lying, and was bad at it too. He’d know if he had any injury and so far there was nothing wrong in him physically. Whatever it was, it had to have something about what just happened. “I made you sad, what is it Eren?” He asked again. “N-No…you did nothing wrong. It’s me, I-I-” “But it pains me to see you cry Eren. Tell me anything…if there’s anything I could do.” Eren shook his head. “This is nothing Dr. Levi…I just feel tired all of a sudden. It happens sometimes that I feel all emotional and noodly. I just, need sleep and rest. Can I-Can I skip today? I wanted to rest for a bit.” Levi was shocked, as if after someone punched his gut, someone slapped him in the face hard. Did he do something wrong to upset him? At these moments he laments that his mate and him didn’t have a tangible bond. He would be able to read his emotions and hopefully his thoughts to find out what is it that made him sad. But now…he was less than a vampire, and more of a human. He had watched how emotional they can be. He had witnessed spouses fight and he had known that pushing things would do them no good. Eren’s need to decompress…and as much as it pains him to be away…Eren needs to do it without him. “I-uhm…okay. I’ll call Sasha okay?” He nodded silently and pulled his plate with him to continue eating. They were only a few inches apart, but Levi felt as if galaxies and million of lightyears separated them. “SO~! How did it go with your first date! Tell me all the dirty details Levi!” the pediatric doctor exclaimed as soon as she slid the doors rather loudly. Her eyes looked around wildly as she searched for a certain raven eyed grump. Her eyes caught the intense stare of a certain bushy browed man. She stopped dead in his tracks just as the blonde Neurosurgeon gave him a look. She mouthed the words what, but the blonde doctor just shrugged his shoulders and pointed at the seat adjacent to where a certain condescending raven was seated. She always have the death threats and glare of the raven for breakfast on a daily basis, she was used to that. But his, this was different. Something’s telling her, that this wasn’t the type of situation where she can make light off and joke about. She walked slowly and sat on one of the chairs. “I-uhm…Levi?” she asked holding back the poo that usually accompanied the name as a friendly endearment. The raven’s hard silver eyes turned to her making her look away almost immediately. Was that murderous intent? Maybe it was, cause she felt as if she’ll die if she didn’t look away. “What are you doing here?” the raven asked with a bite in his tone that almost made her flinch visibly. “I-uhm…Erwin told me that you asked for me? You were asking about the dad of your Er-” she bit her lip immediately when she felt the raven’s stare at him harden and turn harsher. That was worth the provocation, since it was clear that whatever it is that sank his mood deeper than the Titanic, it had something to do about his mate-Eren. What the two had fascinated her in the most wonderful ways. Eren was currently walking on a thin line between a vampire and a human whilst not being a Dhampir himself, yet it was enough to affect his dominant mate’s mood like this. She had a lot to say with all the things she found out about the bastard father of Eren’s, but she wouldn’t be able to tell it properly if Levi would glare to death at her everytime she tries to say his name. “So-I-uhm…you would most probably kill me, but wefirst need to clear the murderous aura from you before I break the things that I have found out to you. What happened with Eren?” “You tell me, cause I don’t know a single thing too. Whatever the fvck it is that is going on with him, he was on a complete loss of contact with our bond. He wanted to get away from me Hanji. So whatever the fvck that made him so unsure about anything, it had to do something about what you are going to say. So break it to me, or I’ll make you do it.” She adjusted her glasses nervously and nodded. “O-Of course. That’s what I meant. I just got it mixed up. SO I uhm…where do I start.” “From the fvcking beginning.” Levi snarled. “Of course, Yes. SO uhm, as we all have known. Grisha-or Dr. Grisha Jaeger, Eren’s father, was a famous doctor. A geneticist to be specific. He has made a lot of breakthroughs in the field of medicine, mainly preliminary cures for diseases with high fatality rate. Carla Jaeger, Eren’s mother, was confirmed to be a human and married Grisha somewhere around when she was in her early Twenties. She had an adopted daughter named Mikasa-who became Eren’s older sister through marriage.” “What the fvck, then that makes Eren a Dhampir.” Levi states. “Scientifically, it should have, considering Grisha was a full-blooded vampire, but somehow, it didn’t. One thing’s for sure, Grisha had something to do about that.” “If Carla was a human, and she have birthed a Dhampir like Eren…shouldn’t she be killed as soon as Eren was born?” Erwin offers. Levi nods his head before turning to her, “Yeah, but she managed to care for Eren until she was 7…was that confirmed?” “See, that’s when things started to get a little complicated. My contact was able to get a family picture as far as Eren was Six as he could tell, and on the later years…she was gone. She was described by people who used to know her as an outgoing kind-hearted woman-until she was married to Grisha. She started going out less, and they barely see her go out of the garden she supposedly love very much.” “Are you implying she was-”Levi starts, “Turned? Yes, I do think she was. Siring a Dhampir from a human and not killing her off, was a violation of our ways. The Elders could’ve gone after her…so maybe…I think he turned her into one of us.” “You think?” “Yes, but vampire transition isa delicate process. That without the presence of a high ranking member-the blood of an Elder, it will burn a human from inside and out. And guess what ,my contact have dug into records of the deceased, it was listed that Carla Jaeger died of a house fire.” “What does that make of my mate?” “My contact couldn’t dig more into that…but I have made a small probable hypothesis. Losing his wife that you married over a failure transition, I think it made him do the unspeakable towards his son who is prone to dying over exposure to sunlight. Something that only geneticists with a talent like him could do.” “Are you fvcking telling me he fvcked with my mate’s gene’s and tried to turn him without my blood?” Levi seethed. “That might be the case, afterall, turning a Dhampir would either need the blood of an Elder, or their mate. Whatever it is that he did, instead of turning Eren, it made him someone that is neither a human or a vampire. Despite multiple organ failures and continues and health problems, he was lucky to survive and he still can’t stay under the sun.” Levi was quiet for a while. SO quiet and still that Hanji got worried for him. It wasn’t everyday that you find your beloved, only to find out that they can’t feel a bond like a vampire normally would. He was lucky enough to find him, since vampire could walk into the face of the earth and die without meeting their mate, but unlucky enough to find him over such state. “That’s why…that’s why he can’t feel the bond with me, and why I can only feel over it instinctively,” “Most likely yes,” “What The Fuck was that. How am I going to go passed that. How are we going to fix our bond?” he asks in trepidation. Whatever it is that made him an In-Between, that quirk that made him unable to feel abond with him could be the very same thing that will kill him. “Levi,” she consoles him, “It’s not like it is the end of the world. He might be an excellent geneticist and I’m only a pediatrician, but didn’t you forget I used to be a scientist? I could definitely find something to help Eren with. With the help if your blood of course. And your bond isn’t broken…you told me yourself. You feel protective of him.” “I’d die for him.” “See? It’s there…Eren’s side just feels a tad bit wonky. I’ll do a bloodwork on him and see if we could reverse it. For the meantime, try to romance that mate of yours like any human would.” “I tried, but somehow I made him cry and get away from me.” “You made him cry?” hanji asked both in shock and amusement. “Wipe that smile off your face, or I’ll wipe you out. I tried to be all gentle and sweet with him like Erwin would towards his coconut. I also tried to approach it in a human-like way since I know that the bond would not make its magic work between us and make him see me as a potential partner almost immediately so I offered to only be his frie-” Hanji audibly groaned as she wiped a hand over her face, “You said that…to him?” “Yeah. What the fvck is wrong with that.” “Then he cried?” “Yes.” Levi growled. “and I don’t fvcking know why. Isn’t that how human’s start their relationships? With being friends?” “Levi…the bond might not be weaker than you have thought it would be…maybe…somehow it was still in place…but not as intense as you expect it would…just like yours. Maybe…he took it as you drawing a line between them. Like you wouldn’t cross that Friends line…did you make it clear that you’re into him?” “What in the fvck. Isn’t that creepy? Do humans express how they like someone on a first dat-” “Yes!” hanji exclaimed, “Ever heard of YOLO? Humans don’t have the time like we do. With the state of thinking that Eren was raised in, which I assumed to be that of human’s, he thinks that you starting your relationship as friends means that you only want him as a friend. ” “Humans are so fvcking confusing, Do I need to go slow or jump in fast. I’m fvcking confused.” “From what I can infer on Eren’s case, I think you need to be clear that you see him in a romantic sense. DO you see him in a romantic sense.” “Fvck yes, of course.” “Then act like it.” “Are we just going to ignore the fact that he was his patient, and Levi was his doctor. Hanji rolled her eyes, “As if that stopped you from courting Armin a few decades ago. He was also your patient.” Erwin raised his arms. “Guilty as charged.”
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
BLOOD 08
"Eren. I told you this before, and I will tell you again. You can tell me anything. I'm your friend. I will do anything for a friend."
The words continued to ring in his ears as Sasha practically supported him as they walked down back to his room. He usually feels ominous passing the hallways that had been one of the rare constants in his life, but today everthing felt bland and tasteless. He just knew what to call this moment in his life. It's what they call Friendzoned. He snorted internally. As if he wasn't familiar to this feeling. It was as if there was a line for the Friendzone, he'd be the first one in line. Maybe he offended Cuid in some way that it always ends up this way. Elijah- the guy who used to be on the nighboring room beside his, didn't actually end whatever it is that they had. But he did say that he's be sending postcards evry christmas after he recovers from his eye operation after he was discharged. He never got any card. Kean who used to be his Doctor was also a charming man. But After he kind of drew a line between them, the doctor send his so called regards and moved on to the newly hired medical technician. It sucks to be stucked here in the hospital. Your dating pool is restricted into either patients who will soon leave you, or doctors who have other options aside from you. He appreciated the silence Sasha gave him as they trudged back to his Room. She didn't say anything even after she tucked Eren's thing's away, and he was laying under the covers of his bed-still dressed in his gym clothes. Usually she would fuss over him not changing clothes before going to bed, but today she was being really not strict. She even slid a small bowl of Hershey's Kisses beside him. He let out a small croak of laugh. "You're being awfully tame today Sasha." She let out a small sigh before spinning a hershey's between her fingers, unwrapping the chocolate from the foil wrapper "It's my fault for putting words on your mouth, something happened right? Did he shot you down?" More like bombarded me with a nuke, run me over with a speeding 10 wheeler truck, while I was on fire. "Nah. He was just being polite. I...actually didn't know what happened back there. He asked to be my friend and somehow that-" He felt the small pang of pain in his heart again. Enough to make him hold a hand over his battered heart. The doctor asking to be his friend, It should be a harmless gesture, a helpful one even. As a kid who can't walk thriugh the doors without hurting himself, it was a miracle he can still partially function socially. His friends could only be counted using his fingers. So why did it matter that the raven doctor wanted to be his friend? He mentally scolded himself over being a whining kid. They only just met so what in the hell was wrong with his heart. Why does it keeps on acting like he already knew the raven? As if he was the endgame. As if, if the raven doesn't see he him as a partner romantically, there will be no hope for love anywhere. Now where the hell did that came from? He groaned and buried his head into his pillows. What's up with his hormones going haywire ? He's so freaking overwheled of these unknown feelings and being on the same room as him makes him even more confused. "Eren, I hope you're not to sad about him. If you want I'm going to give him a 50-page essay why having a boyfriend like you woud benefit his existence I-" He groaned again. "Nah, that would make me really pathetic. It's already bad that I have a mini-crush on my heart doctor, now. Thank God he already made it clear what we were." "What you are?" Sasha asked confused. "He said he wanted to be my friend, and I-" "Wait. You're telling me we're both sulking over the fact that he wanted to be your friend? Not becuase you accidentally proffessed your love for him and he rejected you?" "What? Of course not! There's no way I'd be able to say something about these petty crush-" "Then why the hell are we sulking?" Eren sucked his breath in. "Obviously because-" He stopped in his tracks. "because..." "Because you?" Sasha trails as she popped some chocolate into her mouth. "I-honestly...I didn't know what happened. Suddenly I....it's just...my heart ached." he whispered placing a hand over his chest where he could feel it once more. Was it adrenaline rush that obscured the pain so he could get anywhere but stay within an enclosed room with him? "Your heart ached?" Sasha quickly walked closer to Eren, fixing the stethoscope into her ears. Her hands quickly grabbed Eren's wrist and started counting uner her breath. "Pulse rate's normal. DO you still feel pain? SHould I call the doctor? Sht I'm going to report that man for overworking a patient." At the mention of Levi going into trouble made his hackles raise. He snatched his hand away from Sasha and glared at her as he scooted back into the bed. "No one's gonna report anyone. I'm okay." He growled. Sasha gasped, not used to the way the brunette was acting up. He was stubborn yes, but not enough to make her feel like there were chills running up her spine. If he didn't knew Eren better, she'd say that it was murderous. "I-I'm...I'm just confused here. What's happening with you Eren? I'm worried." Eren bit his lip as he raked a hand over his brunette locks. "I don't know. Everything feels...wrong." He whispered as he rubbed his arms, as if he was uncomfortable of his own skin. Sasha's brows furrowed even more; "What do you mean Eren?" He let out a frustrated sigh. "I don't know..." He pulled a pillow and covered his face before screaming into the softness of the pillow. Sasha stared at the teen before sighing. "I'll get some lemonade for you from the cafeteria, just rest for now okay?" Eren nodded but never made a move to remove the pillow on his face. She let out a sigh again before exiting the room quietly to get the lemonade for when the brunette wakes up. Eren stirred his glass of warm lemonade as he sat on the garden at the back of the hospital. He didn't realize he fell asleep until his reversed body clock woke him up. The Moonlight shone from above as he closed his eyes to revel in to the soft blows of the wind. The smell of wet earth that permeated the air due to the rain flooded his senses as he took a deep calming breath. He haven't realized that he slept until dawn. If not for Sasha waking him up to eat, he would've been asleep until tomorrow. He took a sip of his lemonade again as he unwrapped the sandwhich Sasha gave him before she finally let him out of her claws. She wouldn't stop fusssing over Eren, asking if he still feel sick or something. He answered a relentless string of yes, since he does feel better, but when the afternoon flashed back into his mind, he can't help but cringe again. He groaned and looked up in the sky. Why did he have to leave like some puppy that got kicked in the butt? God. He was an emotional mess. How is he going to face the Doctor? Just thinking about what the doctor felt when he left abruptly was enough to make him want the ground to just eat him up. That was so impulsive of him. Maybe he should just avoid the doctor and let this small crush of his fade. Yeah. He can do that. Sasha told him he was a busy doctor afterall. He coud stay in his room and do the physical fitness thingy himself. There are exercises that don't need equipment afterall. Pinterest says so. Well, that's a good plan. He'll just avoid running in to the doctor as much as he can. He can't help but feel a sad over the thought. Maybe he could take small peaks and then- "What are you doing outside, it's cold." Eren almost dropped the glass of lemonade he was holding. Did he imagine that? He quickly closed his eyes and chanted quietly. "It's not real. It's not real. It's not real." "What isn't real?" the voice of appartition replied making him stiffen up. "Oh God he's Real. He's real. He's real." The raven head chuckles behind him before walking closer. He drops his coat over Eren's shoulders and sits beside him on the bench, his legs crossed over the other in a relaxed manner. "You shouldn't be out here without proper warm clothes." he commented quietly. Eren's hold onto his glass tightened as his cheeks burned with a fresh wave of embarassment. He scooted away from the raven slightly, his eyes looing at anywhere but his direction. "I-u-uhm. Sorry." The raven shook his head as if to dismiss it, so he stayed quiet. Silence reighned between them as Eren stared at the sky, counting the stars that were almost fading. The sun is bound to rise soon...but he can't leave. More like he didn't want to. The raven was here after all. It felt as if his entire being were a bunch of iron filings that kept on gravitating towards the raven. There was this inexplicable feeling that makes him irrational around the raven.
Why is he feeling like this around him?
"Eren." He almost jumped from his seat, "Y-Yes Dr. Levi?" "Have you ever thought of the reason why you exist? That if...if there was a some kind ofhigher entity out there, why in the world did they create you the way you are?" Eren quieted down as he shifted onto his teeth. There as something about the Doctor's statement that made him feel...melancholic of some sort. "As much as it sounds weird...I think the cosmos created me to be a some kind of a passage of someone else's life...that after they meet little ol' me...they become some successful or attain their some kind of Nirvana." "What made you think that way?" the raven asked seemingly displeased due to the sudden drop of his mood. "I...I like guys." He whispered in a small voice. "But having this kind of body consitution...you might as well guess how my relationships have become so far. There's no way a guy would choose someone like me, over to someone they can take on normal dates. To add more salt to the wound, most of those guys I've met are already in steady relationship, and one was even getting married. That's just life I guess...My existence will forever be a passing moment of someone else's. Unless I die maybe. Someone out there would definitely need my organs." he joked pushing his elbows to the doctor who looked even more displeased. He groaned inwardly. Way to make the atmosphere more awkward that it already was. "I don't think of you that way Eren." The raven speaks up after a short uncomfortable silence. "We are all bound to be a passing part of someone else's life, but I don't think that it will be like that forever. I belive that...that someday, you will meet that person that will have you as the center of their existence. The person that will look at you as if the sun rose and set at you...as if his entire world revolves around you." Eren laughed genuinely. "I didn't take you for a romantic person Dr. Le-" Eren's words got caught in his throat when he realized the raven doctor was staring at him intently. Time seemed to stood still as the teal hue of his ocean eyes met the frosty yet warm gunmetal eyess of the raven doctor. His Heartbeat pounded right at his ears...a ringing sound at the background but it seem to far away. A golden hue shone at the back of the raven's head making his eyes widen in shock. He quickly turned to check onto his watch. "Shit it's morning." How didn't he notice? His eyes darted around widely for a place to hide. He needs to...He needs to hide...or else....or else he'll bur-"Hold onto me." A quip voice orded as a white coat was thrown over his head. A strong pair of arms sweeped him off of his feet before it moved in a particular direction. His heart calmed down lightly when he felt the cold brush of the airconditioner of the hospital, but the onset of panic has already started. His chest tightened as he clenched his arms around the Doctor's Coat. Sounds blurred and echoed in his ears as his bodily intincts screamed and panicked. "Levi who is that-" "Call Erwin NOW." Levi seemed angry. He wanted him to calm down...but his chest hurt so bad.
It felt as if he was about to die.
