There wasn't many left, with the fear of mankind growing the need to get rid of the supernatural began. The treaties formed long ago broken. In the beginning, it took many by surprise. At first, no one wanted to acknowledge what exactly was occurring. Slowly it began to brew, the anger flaring along with fear until it finally got to the point where the humans who had turned into hunters crossed the line. As blood spilled and soiled the ground they all began to adapt. The vampires while they couldn't touch silver or vervain they no longer burned beneath the sun. Yet the ache for blood remained, their hunger forever remaining, along with their ability to manipulate those who failed to protect themselves. The witches who were growing in the past in size drastically began to reduce in number. The few still lingering afraid of anyone learning that for their magic to work that they needed to speak began wearing glamours to hide their roots as charms filled their homes. Holding their spell books close they hide the spell books of their ancestors the smell of burning pages a reminder of what many had tried to do. The giants unlike before no longer sought for gold or silver, instead they remained hidden far in the rocky canyons while a few remained in the sky. There desire to stay away from the war below strong. The werewolves still feared the wretched plant they had come to learn went by the name wolfsbane, while the fear of silver continued to remain consistent. Now unlike those before they could shift at will, but like their ancestors turned and lost themselves to their wolves on every full moon. The fellow companions when the treaties broke and war came about came in the of the shapeshifters. Who more than often preferred to take the form of the wolves. The shapeshifters unlike before learned that they could shift into more then one animal despite the old tales told that it would become their undoing. But just like everyone else they learned that they had a limit when it came to their abilities. That their healing ability wasn't as fast as a werewolf, that the longer and the more frequent that they shifted the more they had to rest unless they had been born with one of their parents belonging to another species. Among the fae their lied segregation between those of light magic and dark magic which came from those with that of the dead and demons from hell. The distinguishable sign not only the dark aura but the markings that covered every inch of their body unlike the fae with the clear white or pastel wings. The trust from before that was once hanging by a thread gone. It had become every species for themselves. Having agreed to meet at the local pub of the village they had been staying at Taehyung shakily wrapped his right wrist. His Black hair fading back into the natural ash brown hair, while blue eyes gleamed brightly before it began to fade back to grey. When he can no longer see the black marking he lets out a shaky exhale as he looks up into the mirror before him. Being the son of a fae and the diviner of the dead wasn't an easy life, but with many believing that his mother was a witch both Kim brothers got by fine. While many respected his older brother as a necromancer, Taehyung knew that if anyone learned that there was a chance his magic was shifting to the dark that they would rip off his wings. Seeing the gleaming white wings fluttering he closes his eyes as he wills them to hide into his back. When he looks up and no longer sees them he's quick to make his way out of the bathroom. Grabbing his satchel he's quick to bound his way down the stairs, unable to forget the single black mark that had appeared when he had brought back the small cat outside back to life. Shaking his head, Taehyung runs a hand down along his sleeves he swears he'd never dive back into dark magic again. He wasn't about to leave Namjoon not while he could help it. Groaning his hands settle on his hips as he leans back his eyes fluttering to an open once his back pops. Letting out a relieved sigh he rolls his shoulders before grabbing his bag from the ground. Running a hand through his disheveled black locks, glowing amber changes back into ocean blue. Turning around as he makes his way onto the road. Ignoring the few looks down his way, his eyes move around the street. When his eyes land on the name of the local pub Jimin lets a small smile form. Pushing the door open as he saunters in the smell of vanilla among the stench of sweat, blood, urine and alcohol is refreshing. Eyes narrowing Jimin can't help but wonder as he glances around if he found his bond, or as his father called his mother mate was close.Rolling his eyes Jimin let's out a sigh once he's seated and given a shot of alcohol. Downing the drink down he can't help but let out a groan at the burn. "What's a werewolf like you doing here? Aren't you a little far from your pack?"With his father being a werewolf and his mother a shapeshifter it wasn't hard for him to blend in, but the need to correct the male to his right weighed heavily on him. Shaking his head Jimin offers a small smile before he's waving down the bartender for a stronger drink.
