"I can't fucking believe the nerve," Charlotte complained and Paige gave her a look. "She's over there flirting with fucking Eva, Mickie, and Summer as if I wasn't in between her goddamn legs last night and this morning." "It's not like you guys were serious about each other. Even when you dated Alexa, the two of you weren't really together together. I haven't seen you in a serious relationship before Charlotte, not really serious," Paige said and Charlotte crossed her arms."Actually, she's been in one," Natalya said and Paige raised an eyebrow at her girlfriend. "We dated for almost 6 years from her sophomore year in high school to her junior year of college when I met you." "We broke up before Paige came over here," Charlotte corrected and Natalya nodded. "But yeah, Nattie and I were very serious. Also, when we were a thing Paige, I didn't talk to any other girls. Alexa and I weren't official, just fuck buddies that went on dates occasionally." "That you fell in love with and came to me crying every single time the two of you got together wondering why she never took you seriously," Paige said and Charlotte grunted. "Are you dancing tonight?" "Yeah, Nattie's got a reserved seat up front," Charlotte teased and Natalya rolled her eyes at her ex. "As long as I get a reserved spot on her lap and $100." "I forget you're an expensive one," Paige said with a chuckle and Charlotte punched her arm. "I thought you charged $300 for private dances." "She charges $200 to women and then I get a discount." Natalya smiled proudly as Charlotte sat up a little bit. She checked her watch and walked back to the dressing room, wanting to get changed before the doors opened. She was working the floor before she went on to dance tonight. "Are your friends coming tonight?" "Finn and Becky will be here. I'm 99% certain that TJ saw them last night at the bar," Paige said and Natalya shrugged. "Becky and Charlotte are going to love each other, trust me. How possible is getting them work going to be Nattie?" "Steph needs a new bartender and some muscle. A new guy dancer would definitely be nice too, change of pace," Natalya answered and Paige got up and went to find the club's owner. Alexa was behind the bar by the time the doors opened, chatting up random guys for more tips and flirting with a few different girls that came in. Queendom was one of the best strip clubs in the state, known for treating its works right and having extravagant shows. Charlotte had, much against her father's wishes, begun working here when she was 18 to help earn her own money, and ended up loving it, so she stayed. Natalya, being her girlfriend at the time, was extremely supportive and had come to see Charlotte many times, even after they broke up. Charlotte loved seeing the look on Natalya's face when she watched her perform, even now, the look of lust just filled Charlotte with confidence. "First private of the night?" Natalya asked and Charlotte nodded, taking Natalya back to one of the private rooms. Paige was at the bar talking to Nikki Bella and Eva Marie about how Natalya's bar, Hart Breaker was doing. Natalya picked the same song she always did and Charlotte smirked at her, always loving this particular routine. Charlotte started slowly, rolling her hips against Natalya as she placed the blonde's hands on her waist. These dances were always much more intimate than her other ones, the chemistry between Natalya and Charlotte evident as she danced on the other woman. Charlotte laced her fingers in Natalya's hair and did every little trick she remembered from their time together before the song had ended. "I always wonder how okay with this Paige really is," Charlotte said once the music had ended. "I mean, yeah, she's invited me in multiple times, but this is different." "If Paige had a problem with it, she'd tell me," Natalya said and Charlotte gave her a look. "Or she'd start acting like a child. Besides, you've seen how she is with Emma sometimes. Part of the reason that we work so well with everything going on is because we communicate and find ways to let the other explore a little bit." "Go get your girlfriend," Charlotte said and Natalya walked out of the room. Charlotte came out a little later and went back to working the floor. Natalya paid her $200 and then sat back in the VIP booth with Stephanie as they talked about business together. Stephanie owned half of Natalya's bar and Natalya owned half of Queendom. Charlotte managed to make almost $3,000 by the time that she was supposed to go on. She took a little break to rest up and watched one or two of the performances before going out there. When she walked onto the stage, she noticed Paige sitting with a group of people, Emma and Natalya included. Charlotte did her normal routine, using her natural sex appeal to draw them in before she began to strip and use her gymnastics background to her advantage. By the end of it, she knew that she had probably doubled her night's earnings and then she went back to Stephanie's private booth after changing into something more comfortable. "Almost six grand tonight," Stephanie said with a smile as Charlotte slid into the booth. She was now wearing a pair of jeans and an oversized hoodie with a sports bra on underneath. "You had a good night tonight. Tomorrow, I want you to go on with Sasha." "Okay," Charlotte said, glancing back as the purple haired woman made her way to the stage. Sasha's girlfriend, Bayley, was standing at the door watching guard. Bayley rarely went on, but she could if she wanted to. Stephanie always made sure her girls were doing exactly what they wanted to be doing, whether it was a routine, working the floor or bar, or working security. "Paige, gonna introduce me to your friends?" "This is Finn and Becky. The other two are with Emma," Paige said and Charlotte smiled at the orange haired woman sitting across from her. "Peyton and Billie. They're new dancers here," Emma said and Charlotte nodded. "Becky will be a bartender and bouncer and Finn will be dancing for us," Stephanie said and Charlotte liked the idea of getting to see this Becky more often. There was something about her which drew in Charlotte's attention just as much as she tended to demand it from others. "I bet you'd make a good dancer," Charlotte said and Becky shook her head. "I can't do any of that you did up there," Becky said and Charlotte nearly melted at the accent. "She does all the splits and acrobatic shit because she's a shit dancer," Paige said, earning a slap from Natalya and Charlotte at the same time. "Ow!" "Woman charges $200 for a lap dance and it's worth every penny," Emma said and everybody agreed. "I swear it's like some sort of sex magic." "That's ridiculous," Charlotte said, leaning back a bit. Becky gave her a curious look and Paige whispered something in her ear that made the orange haired woman smirk, even as her cheeks began to turn pink. "I should be getting home soon." "Nope, you're hanging for a few more hours," Paige said and Charlotte gave her a look. "We'll go out in the town, explore a bit." "Don't get my girl in too much trouble," Stephanie said as Paige pulled her away. Paige, Emma, Peyton, Billie, Becky, Finn, and Charlotte got out of the booth, Natalya opting to stay and talk a bit more with Stephanie about business transactions. "You put on quite a damn show," Becky said as they began walking. "There's also something familiar about you." "I could say the exact same thing to you as well," Charlotte said and Becky shrugged, pushing Paige to make her go faster. "You're a damn child," Paige said and Becky just chuckled. "You are more than tipsy, liar." "Am not!" Becky shouted and Charlotte looked between the pair with amusement. Paige argued a bit with Becky before they came across a large building. "Why are we at my apartment building?" Charlotte asked and Paige took the key out of her back pocket. Paige brought them up to Charlotte's apartment and got everybody settled before sending the Australians to get them booze from the liquor store, trusting Emma with her credit card. "I get the feeling this is going to turn into a good time for everybody except for me," Finn said and Paige nodded. "Nattie's coming by in an hour, so I'll leave then. Emma's going to go when Dana texts her that she's off work. Peyton and Billie won't make it back here, so we'll be down two bottles of flavored vodka. They'll end in fucking by the end of the night," Paige said and Becky scoffed. Charlotte wasn't opposed to the idea, but she wasn't a fan of how Paige seemed so certain that she'd sleep with Becky. However, 25 minutes later, when Emma returned alone with two paper bags with assorted alcoholic bottles inside of them and down two people, Charlotte began to realize Paige was going to be right about tonight. Finn was passed out within 6 drinks and Emma left as soon as her phone had vibrated, apparently having somebody waiting for her outside. Natalya came in to get Paige and make sure that Charlotte wasn't drinking excessively. "You're hot," Becky slurred, leaning into Charlotte. She realized then and there she could take Becky back to her room and give her the best sex the Irish woman would ever have in her life, but she decided against it. Becky continued to flirt with her throughout the night until she had also passed out around midnight and Charlotte carried her back to her bedroom. Charlotte tried changing Becky, but the woman stirred too much, so she slept in the majority of her clothes, Charlotte asleep next to her.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Becky stood in front of Paige's house with Finn, leaning slightly on a stack of boxes. A lot had changed for her in such a short span of time. She had come to the realization that she was a lesbian, broken up with her boyfriend Luke, come on a road trip with Finn, gotten a job at a strip club, quit her other job, and was now moving in with somebody she'd known for an entire month. Finn was staying with Paige a bit longer, at least now he'd be getting his own bed and they wouldn't have to share. Finn had worked at Queendom for a whole 3 days before one of Stephanie's business friends, a large man by the name of Hunter, offered him a job working at his club, Trip's. Becky was a bit sad she wasn't working with Finn anymore, but she'd quickly made friends with Charlotte, who Becky was going to be moving in with. Everybody at Queendom seemed to be close with each other, whether in a platonic, familial, or romantic way. Becky wasn't sure where Charlotte and her stood with each other, but she knew that they'd be close no matter where they ended up. "What the fuck is taking her so long?" Paige asked as she walked outside with three beers. "I swear, Nattie never takes this long unless she's out with Charlotte. If my girlfriend cheated on me with your soon-to-be fuck buddy, I swear I'll beat both of your asses." "Ladies, calm down. I'm sure there's a perfectly good explanation as to why Charlotte and Nattie are literally 10 minutes late. Stephanie's throwing that party, so there's probably a lot of traffic. I mean, Charlotte's apartment is on the other side of Queendom from here," Finn pointed out, wanting to make this as easy of a process as possible. He knew why Paige was more on-edge than normal, she felt hurt. It had been forever since the trio got to stay under the same room and it'd never been under such good circumstances before, and now Becky was leaving. Paige had been the first one to go over to America before and to her it felt like Becky was leaving so soon into her stay to get back at her for that. "Thank you for the beer Paige." "No problem Finny boy," Paige said and Becky gracious accepted the beer herself. "Are you sure that you're gonna get along with Charlotte?" "They've spent the past two weeks practically living together, there's no way they won't." Finn answered for Becky, who was too busy checking her phone. Everybody knew that they'd get along, Natalya had been the one to suggest to Charlotte that living with Becky would work out well and there'd be somebody for the blonde to hang out with that wasn't her girlfriend. Charlotte and Paige had been hanging out and playing video games with Sasha and Bayley, which normally wouldn't be a problem for Natalya, but it happened to only be during Nattie's free time, which she had planned to spend with Paige. "Here they are!" Becky yelled as Charlotte pulled up in a darker purple-red truck. A couple of guys got out of the truck first and put all of Becky's stuff in the back while Natalya and Charlotte got out of the truck. "I didn't realize you owned a whole moving company." "I don't. That's Roman and Seth, they're friends of mine. I wasn't sure how much you'd have to move, so in exchange for dinner, they agreed to help out," Charlotte explained and Becky nodded. Becky went to thank them and immediately was drawn into a conversation about music with Seth. Roman went inside on the insistence of Natalya, who got him a glass of water and grilled him about his upcoming wedding. Finn and Paige stayed outside with Charlotte, out of earshot from Seth and Becky. "Charlie, he's gay, no need to be jealous," Paige joked and Charlotte shot her a glare. "Seriously, I know that look. You gave it to me for the first six months we knew each other." "Because I thought you were trying to steal my girlfriend and you did!" Charlotte yelled, throwing her arms into the air. Becky and Seth looked over, but then Seth realized the group and took Becky's attention back. "Seth's loyal to Roman though. Also, he's got a lot to compete with." "Becky's a lesbian anyways, so you've got yourself a great chance," Finn said, crossing his arms over his chest. "Not to mention, I think she thinks you're hot. Lay it on a bit more though, she can be dense sometimes." "Why are you helping me hook up with your friend?" Charlotte asked and Paige and Finn shared a look. Paige knew both of them well enough to enlist Finn in helping her set them up. Paige knew it'd have to start casual and then they'd both catch feelings. Paige knew enough about what'd happened with Luke to know that Becky trying to force herself into a serious relationship wouldn't work. For a little bit, it had worked out well, but then Becky's not-so-surprising revelation happened. "So you'll have somebody to fuck instead of complaining to me about how you're not getting laid frequently enough or go crawling to Alexa," Paige said and Charlotte thought that was fair. Besides, Charlotte wasn't sure how badly she wanted to be with Alexa if the smaller blonde wasn't going to at least attempt to be emotionally available with her. Charlotte and Alexa had too much history for it to truly be casual for the older blonde. "Let's get going, Seth and I need to stop off at our place to change before dinner at Nattie's. Stephanie and Hunter are paying for a group dinner," Roman said as he pulled Charlotte to her truck. Seth and Becky sat in the back, the two of them whispering to each other the entire ride to Charlotte's apartment building, which the guys also lived in together. Roman and Seth loaded up Becky's things into Charlotte's formerly empty spare bedroom and then went to their place to get ready. "Make good decisions." "I try," Charlotte promised and Roman gave her a hug. Charlotte turned to Becky, who was looking around the apartment, before flopping down on her couch. "So, we're going to dinner at Nattie's. It's a mandatory thing, most of the girls from Queendom will be there as well as a bunch of the guys from Trip's. It's casual dress and free booze." "Does that mean you're not gonna show up in an outfit that costs more than the rent on my place in Dublin?" Becky asked and Charlotte shrugged. "I mean, even your casual is expensive Charlotte. Do you even own anything from a WalMart?" "You're ridiculous." Charlotte avoided answering the question, unaware if anything she owned was actually that cheap. She didn't have anything against the superstore, but she had grown up accustomed to the finer things in life and managed to find a good enough job that would let her maintain that. "I make hundreds of dollars a day and grew up rich, what do you think?" "I think you would make a great sugar daddy," Becky joked and Charlotte gave her a funny look. Becky got nervous for a second, but when Charlotte shrugged it off, Becky decided to let it go. "What should I wear?" "I'll let you borrow something so you show up in a style that I didn't see in middle school," Charlotte joked and Becky scoffed. They made little jabs at each other here and there, but it was all in good fun, and Becky liked having the smell of Charlotte on her. Becky was also certain that Charlotte liked having Becky wearing her clothes, she seemed like the territorial type and Becky had noted Charlotte's attitude change when the Irish woman got hit on during work. Charlotte pulled Becky back to her bedroom and began to sift through her clean clothes before she found something for Becky to pair with what Charlotte had decided were her favorite of Becky's jeans. "How sure about this outfit are you?" Becky asked, feeling a bit awkward. The shirt Charlotte had picked out was nice, but it was a bit long and very see-through. Becky had seen Charlotte wear it once on stage, during one of her performances. Charlotte French-tucked the shirt into Becky's jeans, allowing her hand to brush up against Becky's muscled stomach, and then took a step back to admire her handywork. "What are you wearing? If we're gonna go fancy, we're gonna match." "I know," Charlotte said, turning her back and pulling off her shirt. Becky quickly averted her eyes as Charlotte got dressed, only looking up again when Charlotte cleared her throat. "Becky, you've practically seen me naked. Actually, that's how you see me literally every single shift we share together. What's with the sudden bashfulness?" "Different setting," Becky said gruffly. Charlotte was wearing a darker, yet somehow even more see-through version of Becky's shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans that were skin-clingingly tight. "We, uh, look good." "That's the point. Oh, and sorry if I was a bit forward with the changing thing," Charlotte said. Becky could tell she cut herself off, probably not wanting to share too much with her new roommate. "You know, not to sound too pervy, but you could get away with wearing a crop top or two at work. Probably get more tips that way too." "I don't really like showing my stomach," Becky said and Charlotte knew the feeling. On stage, she was confident and nothing could stop her from putting on a show, but she was much more timid off of the stage. She had gotten into the habit of allowing her on-stage persona to drip into her off-stage one as she borrowed the confidence in her daily life. "We should get going shouldn't we?" "Yeah, definitely," Charlotte said, checking her phone for the time. Charlotte drove them to Nattie's bar and found them a booth to sit in towards the back with Paige, Nattie, and Finn. They arrived a bit before everybody else, so the bar was nearly empty, save for the people who'd be working the party, Stephanie, Paige, Nattie, Hunter, Liv, Ruby, and Sarah. "I don't think I've seen you wear shorts in years Hunter." "Casual means casual Flair," Hunter chuckled as he pulled Charlotte into a hug. "It's nice to see you. You don't stop by anymore, the boys would love to see you." "Maybe I'll stop by this week. I'm pretty busy," Charlotte said and Hunter glanced over at Stephanie. "I like getting my hours, so please don't mess with that. The boys could always come see me. Everybody likes my performances." "Of course they do. Who's your friend?" Hunter asked and Charlotte glanced at Becky. The Irish woman was arguing with Paige about something, the two of them possibly on the verge of a friendly fist fight. Nattie looked a bit concerned, but other than that, nobody was really watching them. "Becky, she works at the bar. Also, my new roommate, just moved in today," Charlotte said, sipping on the drink that'd been handed to her. "Is she just a roommate?" Hunter asked and Charlotte nodded. "For now at least. She's attractive, but I feel like she's smart enough to not try to date me after having lived with me," Charlotte said with a dry laugh. Hunter gave her a look, telling her that she wasn't as bad as she thought she was. Hunter had grown to care about Charlotte, the girl's father having been a good business acquaintance of both Hunter and Stephanie's family before he tired off to his mansion. "I'm definitely my father's daughter." "Yeah, but you're also your own person," Hunter said, clapping her on the back. He left her with that, and she went to join Ruby, who was setting up for a game of pool. "Mind if I join you?" Charlotte asked and Ruby handed her a stick off of the wall. "Pool is a two person game," Ruby said and Charlotte looked around the bar to see Liv practically glued to Stephanie's side and Sarah talking with one of Hunter's bouncers. "I feel like it's been forever since we came here and just hung out together." "I was dating Alexa and you'd just started dating Sarah, so at least 4 months," Charlotte said, doing the math in her head. Ruby sighed, thinking it was a shame that she didn't get to spend as much time with Charlotte as she'd want to. They were fairly good friends, the blonde being one of the nicest people to Ruby during her training. She had even taken it upon herself to show her a few tricks to get things done quicker when she was supposed to be serving. Charlotte had also been nice to Sarah and Liv, which meant more to Ruby than Charlotte having been nice to her. "Maybe one weekend, we can come shoot pool for a couple hours and maybe watch a game. Nattie always has something on for me when I'm here." "You ask her to play a porno and she'd do it for you," Ruby pointed out and Charlotte shrugged. They played pool until everybody else got there, but it wouldn't have mattered much since Charlotte had the game in the bag. "Were you raised on a damn pool table?" "No, I was partly raised in a mansion, partly raised travelling with my dad, both places just happened to have a pool table," Charlotte said, walking over to the booth that Paige and Nattie were sitting in with Becky. Ruby went to sit with Liv and Sarah at the "business table" with Stephanie, Hunter, and a few other important people. Nattie had a seat there, but she opted out for sitting with Charlotte and Paige. "Sami, nice to see you." "Charlotte, we've been missing you at Trip's," Sami said, standing to hug the tall blonde. "I'll plan a lunch with you and all the guys," Charlotte promised and Sami smiled at her. Becky hadn't realized how popular with everybody Charlotte was. Of course, the gorgeous woman would have a lot of friends, but it seemed that everybody in the bar liked Charlotte. "I'll hold you to it gorgeous," Sami said, sitting down next to Finn. Charlotte took note of how his arm stretched around Finn's back, keeping a light hold on the Irish man. "Finn tells me you stole his best friend." "She didn't steal me, I moved in with her today," Becky corrected and Finn pouted at her. "We've literally made plans for my next three days off. Don't give me that look Balor." "I'm gonna miss you though," Finn said quietly and Becky pulled him into a hug. "Treat her well Charlotte, and don't let her spend all of her paycheck on quinoa." "Why would anybody do that?" Charlotte asked and Becky began to rant about quinoa. Charlotte had never heard anything so adorable in her entire life. She admired Becky's passion about the food, even if she didn't necessarily think it to be as amazing as Becky. "Shut it about the grain before I blow my brains out," Paige snapped and Becky rolled her eyes. Nattie put a hand on her thigh to calm her down, careful not to tease her as she traced the lines of Paige's fishnets. "Charlotte, do you still want to go shopping for more work clothes?" Nattie asked and Charlotte nodded. "Becky, if you're not busy, I think it'd be great for you to come with us," Charlotte offered and Becky checked her phone. "I have to come in at some point to take some inventory, but that won't take more than a couple hours," Becky said and Charlotte smiled. "I'll go in the morning so we can leave forever." "Don't get too tired, it's an all day event with those two," Paige said and Nattie swatted her thigh. "Hey, do that too much and we won't be able to stay for dinner." "Whatever," Nattie said with an roll of her eyes. Charlotte smiled at the couple and wondered briefly what her life would be like if Paige hadn't come in when she did. Nattie and Charlotte's relationship was working well despite the slight distance and conflicting schedules, but then Paige came in and fucked it up on both ends. Charlotte should hate Paige, aside from Alexa, Nattie had been the only person that Charlotte had wanted to spend her life with. "Here comes trouble," Sami said as Alexa approached their large booth. "Lexi, long time no see." "Hello Sami," Alexa said with a possibly fake smile. She turned to Charlotte and then glanced down at her feet, as if she was nervous. "Did you ask Stephanie to work us different days?" "No," Charlotte said honestly. Alexa nodded and shoved her hands in her hoodie pockets. It was a black Tapout hoodie that Alexa had stolen from Charlotte when they'd first started dating. Charlotte felt her stomach flutter and then churn at the sight of Alexa wearing her hoodie. It used to bring her such joy and excitement, but now it felt wrong to have those feelings in the first place. "Why?" "I feel like we're never really at the same place at the same time. It's, uh, just a big change from how things were," Alexa said and Charlotte shrugged. "I'll get going, sorry to bother you." "Bye Lexi!" Paige called out as Alexa turned and left. "God, she's gonna get her ass beat one of these days. She's so fucking full of it. I mean, watch, she'll probably go back to Eva or Mickie by the end of the night." "Paige, calm down," Charlotte said and Paige was surprised that it was Charlotte and not Nattie telling her to stay calm for once. "That was obviously hard for her. We had a messy relationship, I developed a lot of unhealthy habits because of her, but I'm working to make myself better. If she wants to say something to me, she can do it without having to worry about one of you trying to jump her." "Right, sorry," Paige said softly, looking down at her drink. On Stephanie's call the food was brought out and everybody was back to having a good time. Paige had been right, it took Alexa an hour before she was dancing with Mickie. The two of them seemed to be having fun together and Charlotte missed the times when she'd have fun with Alexa. No matter what her therapist or anybody else tried to tell her, there had been legitimately good and happy times in her relationship with Alexa. "You wanna dance lass?" Becky asked and Charlotte jumped a little. "You've been looking at everybody dancing for a couple of minutes now and I just wondered if it meant you wanted to dance." "Becky, you don't have to," Charlotte said and Becky slid out of the booth smoothly. Charlotte hadn't noticed that Sami and Finn were no longer in the booth. Paige and Nattie had left, Paige urging her girlfriend to check something out in her office, which Charlotte knew meant nothing but a serious disinfecting for a later time. "Who wouldn't want to dance with the hottest woman in the room?" Becky asked and Charlotte blushed a bit. Becky made Charlotte feel a little nervous, which was both a welcome and dangerous feeling for Charlotte. Nobody had made her feel like that in a long time, but she wanted to be ready to at least try an actual relationship instead of a one night stand. "Color me lucky," Charlotte flirted and Becky seemed impressed. Charlotte's confidence gave Becky a bit more game than she normally had. Becky had a tendency to tell puns and bad pick up lines, which didn't always help her cause. Charlotte and Becky danced to the music, neither of them necessarily the best dancers on the floor. A slightly slower and more sensual song came up, one that Charlotte used to dance to in her earlier days, and her muscle memory took over. Becky went along with it, letting Charlotte take control, trying to keep herself from getting too worked up about anything. Neither of them noticed Paige, Nattie, and Finn standing over by the speakers, planting the seeds for Charlotte and Becky.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Becky knocked on the back door to Queendom, hoping somebody would answer it. She was surprised when Liv answered it, dressed in exactly what she'd been wearing the previous night. Her makeup was smudged and there was a hickey on her neck. Becky had heard rumors about Liv and Stephanie, but this confirmed it for her. Becky didn't mind it, but that was because she didn't feel like it was any of her business. Liv didn't work the same things as she did, Liv was normally one of the cage dancers or an opener every other week."Jesus Becky, why are you here?" Liv asked, obviously a little hungover."Inventory, I told Charlotte I'd do it in the morning so that we just go shopping when I was done," Becky said and Liv let Becky in. "Is Stephanie here too?""She's on that couch sleeping, so quietly take inventory," Liv ordered and Becky nodded. She went straight into the freezer behind her station at the bar. Everybody had their own stations and twice a month, they had to do inventory to see what was and wasn't being ordered from where. Becky's area seemed to be where most people got their beers. Ruby was a master with mixed drinks, but not the fruity kind. She made most of the drinks for Stephanie's business associates whenever they came over for meetings. Becky served a lot of college students and the occasional dad type that came through. Becky was done by 8, which was around the same time that Stephanie was waking up. Becky was certain that Liv probably tried to tell Stephanie that they weren't alone, but unfortunately for Becky's ears, the message hadn't come completely out."Gross," Becky said as she heard the two of them making out on the couch. Becky filled out the log that Stephanie had given her Friday, locked up the freezer, and then put the sheet of paper on Stephanie's desk. As Becky walked out, she glanced over to see if she should even say bye to Stephanie and Liv, but came to the conclusion they wouldn't have heard her. Liv was straddling Stephanie and holding two of her fingers to her lips. Becky just turned around and kept walking until she was at her car. Becky started her car and turned her radio up as she sped off back to her new apartment. Charlotte was standing outside waiting for her with two cups of coffee, as was Paige and Natalya. "Are we going now?""If that's okay," Charlotte said and Becky nodded. "Cool, you can sit up front.""I wanted shotgun," Paige complained. Natalya pulled her into the backseat and Becky sat down in the front next to her. "This is bullshit.""You're bullshit," Becky shot back lamely. Charlotte rolled her eyes and Natalya got the feeling that she shouldn't have brought Paige along if Becky was gonna be there. Charlotte drove quickly to the first store. Since the mall closed earliest out of all of their destinations, Charlotte decided that they'd start there. Charlotte parked the car and was astounded by how fast Paige and Becky ran to get inside. "They're children," Natalya said with a heavy sigh. "I'm glad that Paige has her here though. I could tell that their visit was overdue.""I'm glad Becky decided to stay," Charlotte said and Natalya nodded. "It's nice to have someone to live with again.""You were always welcome to stay with me," Natalya said and Charlotte shook her head. "You're right, that wouldn't have been good.""The cats and Paige is too much for me to handle," Charlotte said and Natalya punched her."Don't bring the cats into this." Natalya pointed her finger in Charlotte's face. Charlotte lowered it and took longer strides to get inside. Paige was catching her breath from the sprinting she'd been doing as Becky celebrated her win over her friend. "Was that a good idea?""No," Paige grumbled. Charlotte wondered if Natalya had been like that with her when they were together. Alexa wasn't, Alexa didn't seem to care about her half the time. That was partially why Charlotte had made such a big deal of the times when she did. She clung to those to get her through the times when they shouldn't have been near each other. "Let's just get to the store so Charlotte can get a new bra." "I'm getting more than that," Charlotte said. She led the group through the mall. Paige got bored halfway through watching Charlotte look for something sexy to dance in, so Natalya took her to the Hot Topic so she could see if there was something there she wanted. Charlotte had been in the changing room when they left, so Charlotte was surprised to see just Becky sitting outside waiting for her. "Where did they go?" "Hot Topic for Paige," Becky answered. She glanced up from her phone and her jaw was practically on the floor."Do you like it?" Charlotte asked, turning around. If they weren't in a public place and living together, Becky would have taken Charlotte then and there. Everything fit her perfectly, accentuating everything to make Charlotte even more attractive than she normally was."Yeah, you'll definitely make money with that," Becky said. She could feel herself blushing as she continued to stare at Charlotte. Charlotte smiled and bought a couple more things before moving on to the next store. "So, um, how long have you been dancing?""Since I was 18," Charlotte said and Becky nodded. "I did it to make my own money during college, and then I really liked it. I dropped out and decided to keep dancing. I make more than enough to make up for what my father is withholding.""Damn, maybe I should dance," Becky said, glancing at the receipt from the first store. "It seems like you don't need a roommate.""Not for financial reasons, but social ones. I'm not good on my own, as much as I try to be, I need someone to talk to at the end of the day," Charlotte said and Becky nodded."Nobody really likes being lonely lass," Becky said, holding onto Charlotte's hand. She didn't try to do it, but it just happened. She wasn't going to stop it though. Charlotte's hand was bigger than hers and made her whole arm feel warm. The specific spots where Charlotte touched her were burning in the best way possible. "So, where to next?""Gym clothes," Charlotte said happily. Becky hadn't taken Charlotte for a gym rat, but then again, nobody was born with abs that looked like they were sculpted by gods. "Do you want anything?""No, it's fine," Becky said and Charlotte frowned at her. "Seriously, I'm fine.""I think this would look really good on you, so I'm buying it. If it happens to end up in your laundry, must be a fortunate mistake," Charlotte said and Becky sighed. By the time that Natalya had texted Charlotte that she'd just taken Paige home, Charlotte had to have spent at least $500. Becky was amazed by how nonchalantly Charlotte spent money. Becky caved and let Charlotte buy her a few things after the blonde had pouted and batted her eyelashes for a good 15 minutes. Becky had some money, but the majority of her paychecks went back to Ireland to support her mother. Becky also didn't make the tips that Charlotte did. "Charlotte, hey," Alexa said, spooking Charlotte. Becky remembered her from the dinner the previous night. Charlotte turned around to face the tiny blonde with a polite smile. "Becky right?""Yeah, we worked Thursday together," Becky said and Alexa smiled. Becky recognized the girl who was standing awkwardly a few feet away from Alexa from Becky's Thursday shift as well, Eva Marie. She was very attractive, and one of the girls that Paige had mentioned Alexa liked to fuck around with. Paige had said quite a few things about Eva, Mickie, and Alexa, none of them really positive. Natalya had told her that Mickie was sweet, but sometimes it seemed like there was a screw loose. "I wanted to, uh, invite you to a party at my new apartment," Alexa said, holding her hands behind her back. She was nervous, Charlotte could tell and didn't blame her one bit. Charlotte's friends had been assholes to Alexa since their breakup. Stephanie had scheduled them on different nights and completely rearranged certain themes just so that they wouldn't be working together for more than 2 hours at a time. "Am I still blocked on everything or can I text you the address later?" "Paige completely deleted your number actually. And got me a new phone," Charlotte said. She wrote her number down for Alexa and then walked off with Becky. She was clinging to Becky's arm as they walked out of the mall. Charlotte let out a shaky breath and drove them straight home, forgetting about the shoes that she was going to get for her show. Becky hadn't known Charlotte for long, but she had never seen her so shaken up about something. Becky didn't think that there was anything wrong with their interaction, but then again, there was a lot she didn't know about her new friend group. "Fuck, I gave her my number. I'm gonna get sucked in again and I'm not gonna get out. Fuck, my therapist was right." "All you did was give her your number so that you could go to a party with her. You don't even have to go to that party, and if you decide to go, I'll be your date. We can hold hands, drink, and dance together so that she won't try anything with you," Becky offered and Charlotte leaned over and hugged her."Where did you come from?" Charlotte asked."Dublin," Becky answered. Charlotte rolled her eyes and unbuckled herself. She carried most of the bags up and Becky got the door. They got things put up fairly quickly and then Charlotte started looking at things to order in. An hour later and the two of them were sitting on the floor with a half empty bottle of tequila between them, an empty pizza box on the table, and a Robot Chicken rerun on the TV. "You're pretty." Charlotte reached out and touched Becky's cheek. Becky was blushing slightly from the compliment and even more from the light touch."Thank you," Becky said. Becky mentally slapped herself for not having something flirty to say back like she normally would have. Charlotte hugged Becky and then rested her head against Becky's shoulder. Becky wasn't sure what to do, so she let Charlotte stay like that until it was obvious that the tall blonde was asleep. Becky picked Charlotte up and carried her back into her bedroom. Becky tucked in Charlotte and was about to go into her own bedroom when Charlotte asked her to stay."Don't go," Charlotte mumbled. Becky had to move in close to hear her when she spoke again, "I want you to stay Becky.""Okay, I'll stay," Becky said. She laid down in Charlotte's bed next to her and immediately, Charlotte wrapped herself around Becky like a koala. Becky normally hated it when anybody was like that with her, but with Charlotte, she felt like it was okay. Becky let Charlotte's breathing and heartbeat lull her to sleep with a sense of safety that Becky had never known before, which scared the crap out of her, but intrigued her at the same time.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Charlotte stared at herself in the mirror. She was unveiling a new outfit along with a new show, which made her nervous. It was a full house, which as popular as the club was, wasn't a common occurrence. Rarely was the club packed to its actual capacity, but then again, Stephanie had called in quite a few people for business meetings and those people tended to attract a lot of attention. Charlotte didn't mind though, the past few nights she had made almost double her normal in tips and Becky had been excited about her earnings as well."Good luck out there," Alexa said, patting Charlotte's shoulder. Charlotte turned to Alexa and gave her a small smile. "You don't need it though. You look good and they're all drunk and horny.""How much do you think I could charge for a dance?" Charlotte asked and Alexa shrugged."I got a $700," Alexa said nonchalantly. Alexa's dances were rarely over $400, but when the right opportunity arose, she knew to take it. Charlotte heard the start of her music and then walked out onto the stage. Charlotte looked around and could see a few people she recognized. There were friends of her father's, which weirded her out, but it was the women sitting at Stephanie's VIP booth that caught her eye. She knew Lita and Trish, both of the women were big sponsors of Queendom and Lita had done a few concerts there with her band. Charlotte let her body move on its own accord and she ignored everything and everyone except for Becky. She could never ignore Becky, and it seemed that Becky couldn't keep her eyes off of Charlotte. Noticing the Irishwoman's blatant staring gave Charlotte a boost of confidence for her to try a couple of new moves that weren't originally part of the show. Once her music had stopped, the money Charlotte had gotten from her dance was cleaned off of the stage and Charlotte was approached by Lita."Now that was perfection," Lita said, leaning towards Charlotte. "I've never seen anything like it, so raw and open. You've come a long way.""Thank you," Charlotte said, hopping off of the stage. "Do you want a private dance?""Definitely," Lita said, lending her hand to Charlotte. Charlotte took her hand and walked her back to the private dance rooms. Lita didn't wait for Charlotte to name her price for the dance, instead just slipping her about $800 and picking her song."You're overpaying," Charlotte said and Lita shrugged it off. "Seriously, I was only gonna make you pay maybe half this. It's not like I need the money." "With you I know I'm getting my money's worth," Lita said and Charlotte waited for the song to start. Lita watched the way that Charlotte's hips moved with the beat. Everything was slow and sensual. Lita would have kept giving Charlotte money if it meant that she could stay there with her all night, but she wasn't at the club for lap dances. She had business to attend to and seeing Charlotte added something else to the list of things Lita had to bring up with Stephanie. Once the song was over, Charlotte and Lita walked out together and then Lita semi-reluctantly let Charlotte go for the night."Enjoy your dance?" Stephanie asked and Lita nodded. "Glad to hear it.""I want to use Charlotte for the video," Lita said, leaning forward. "Do you think she'd be up to it?""Believe it or not, she's shy, so I'd be careful about how you approach her with the deal," Stephanie said and Lita nodded. "If you want, I can give her your number later on so you can talk to her about it.""That'd be great, thank you," Lita said happily."Damn, that was a good night," Alexa said, laying with her back against Mickie's front. Mickie ran her fingers through Alexa's hair as she glanced down at the tiny blonde laying on top of her. They were still in the club, Stephanie had told the girls that since they worked so late into the night that the club would be closed tomorrow. She had also told them that they could throw a party to celebrate the successful night that they had, which was why most of the girls were still hanging out. Alexa had taken Mickie back to one of the private rooms so that they could be alone together, away from the noise. Alexa was also afraid that one of the girls that were close with Charlotte would try to glass her when she wasn't paying attention."I was thinking," Mickie said. She stopped stroking Alexa's hair and the blonde shifted so she could look at Mickie better. "Do you want to maybe go out on a date? A real date, not you coming over to my house to fuck me. One where we go out and have dinner, get a little dressed up, and then go back to my house to fuck.""Are you sure that a real date is something you want with me? I mean, you've heard what the girls say about me," Alexa said and Mickie frowned at her. Mickie knew a bit about Charlotte and Alexa's breakup, more than she let on. It had fucked both of them up, but since Alexa had managed to rebound so quickly, everybody assumed that it was nothing for Alexa. The truth of the matter was that Alexa had depended on Charlotte like Charlotte had depended on her. They were both seeking something in the other that they didn't know how to give themselves, but neither of them found it. Charlotte needed emotional reassurance and Alexa needed something physical so that she knew she was okay."I am absolutely certain that I want that with you. You deserve things like that Alexa," Mickie said softly. Alexa leaned down and kissed Mickie softly. "I've actually been trying to get you out on a date for a few weeks now. You did not make that easy for me." "Mickie, dating me isn't something you want. People don't want relationships with me," Alexa argued and Mickie sat up. "People want sex. That's all that people can handle.""The same things were being said about me at one point in time too. The difference is, now I know that's bullshit. I want more than sex with you, I can handle more than just sex. The question is, can you?" Mickie asked and Alexa didn't know. She wanted to, she really hoped that she could, but she wasn't sure. "Because you deserve to at least try for it. Will you try this out with me, please?""Yeah, I will," Alexa agreed and Mickie beamed. "You're cute.""Well, you're absolutely beautiful," Mickie said. She tapped Alexa's leg and the two of them stood up. Mickie held onto Alexa's hand and walked out to the party with her. It was crazy, but Mickie knew that in the morning after everybody had left, it'd look like nothing had happened at all. Stephanie was up in her office, Liv was on the bar dancing with Mandy, Peyton and Billie were making out in the corner, Emma was being carried around on Dana's back, and Becky and Charlotte were sitting in the corner talking to each other."I want to do something," Alexa said and Mickie nodded. Alexa held onto Mickie's hand as she walked over to the table where Charlotte and Becky were sitting. "Charlotte, I, uh, wanted to say something to you.""From what I hear, you'd best keep your distance lass," Becky stepped up, but Charlotte pushed her back into her seat. Charlotte walked out of the bar with Alexa, leaving Becky and Mickie alone together. "So, uh, are you two a thing?""I'm working on it. You guys?" Mickie asked."I'd really like to, she's amazing. Sometimes I don't think she realizes it though. I hear she's not really looking for anything though, so I'll wait," Becky said and Mickie nodded."Make sure she knows that she deserves something. That'll be half the battle," Mickie advised and Becky nodded. "The other half is making sure that you're prepared to be there for her."Outside, both Charlotte and Alexa were standing awkwardly next to each other in the parking lot. Alexa wanted to say so much, but she wasn't sure where she should start. Charlotte looked like she also had something to say, which made Alexa wonder whether or not she even deserved to get in the first word. Still, it was obvious to her that Charlotte was going to wait and let her say something first. So, Alexa started with an apology, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for coming into your life. I'm sorry for fucking you up. I'm sorry for getting fucked up. I'm sorry for hurting you in any way. I'm sorry for pretending that I wasn't hurt. I'm sorry for not doing this sooner. I'm sorry for never telling you that I loved you. I'm just really sorry for everything.""I'm sorry for pushing you into something neither of us were ready for," Charlotte said and Alexa jumped into her arms. Charlotte held Alexa for a moment before the two of them jumped apart at the sound of the door opening. Charlotte turned around to see Becky, Ruby, and Mickie standing at the doorway. "Guys, we're fine.""Okay, just checking," Ruby said. Charlotte pulled Ruby into a hug and eventually, all of the girls were hugging each other. "I'm gonna go get Sarah before she does something that she'll regret.""Ready to go home?" Becky asked and Charlotte nodded. "Do you guys need a ride?""No, but you do," Mickie said, noting how Charlotte and Becky both swayed on their feet a little. Mickie loaded them into her truck and drove Becky and Charlotte back to their apartment.Becky's head was pounding. There was an unfamiliar weight on top of her and a warmth that threatened to lull her to sleep. Becky closed her eyes and inhaled, taking in the sweet scent of vanilla and peaches. She recognized that smell, but with another breath, noted the scent of alcohol with it. Becky opened her eyes once again and turned her head, only a little surprised to find Charlotte wrapped around her like a koala. Becky relaxed once again and let herself fall back asleep. She was content to lay there all day with Charlotte, but she knew that eventually one of them would have to get up."Becks?" Charlotte mumbled, lifting her head up a bit. Charlotte sat up and stretched, a few of her joints popping. "Shit, are you up?""Yeah," Becky said softly. Charlotte closed the blinds to the window and then walked out of the bedroom. Becky rolled onto her stomach and nearly screamed when she felt something furry touch her face. She jumped up and noticed that there were more pillows on her bed than normal. Becky took a look around the room and realized that she was in Charlotte's bed, not hers. Becky groaned as she got up and got ready to face the day. She'd call her mother to make sure that the money was wired over correctly and then she'd go see Finn and Paige. Both of them had been nagging her for the past week about coming over for lunch."Morning," Charlotte said, sitting at the table with a plate of microwaved pancakes and glass of juice. Becky checked the time and realized that she had like 20 minutes before she had to be at Paige's for lunch."Afternoon," Becky corrected. Charlotte rolled her eyes and yawned. "What's your plan for the day?""I'm gonna eat and then go to the gym," Charlotte said and Becky nodded. Charlotte let Becky go and Becky called to check in with her mother on the way to Paige's. Paige was waiting for her outside, sipping on a wine cooler while Finn had a beer."You're almost late," Paige said. She tossed her car keys at Becky and then started walking towards her car. "You have to drive us to Hart Breaker's for lunch. But you can't tell Nattie I'm drunk.""Trust me, she'll know the second she sees you," Becky said. Paige scoffed and Finn started chuckling. It was obvious that Paige had started early and more recently dragged Finn into it.Alexa's hands were shaking as she looked at herself in the mirror. Mickie was waiting for her outside, it was only a matter of minutes before Alexa would hear the doorbell ring. Alexa smoothed down her blazer and put her new nose stud in. There hadn't been anything wrong with the old one she'd been wearing, but she wanted to have something new for Mickie. Alexa hadn't tried really dating a whole lot since Charlotte, but now was her chance. Eva had been physical and neither of them had actually been super into each other. Mickie was different for Alexa, she seemed to really care about her and didn't mind helping her sift through the baggage that Alexa had been ignoring. The doorbell rang and Alexa ran over to put on her heels before she answered the door. "Lexi, hey," Mickie said, smiling at the short blonde. Alexa couldn't do anything but stare at Mickie for a moment, taking in how beautiful she looked in her dress. It was a new one, Alexa remembered seeing it when they went shopping together, but she didn't know that Mickie had went back and bought it. Alexa had momentarily thought about buying it for Mickie at the store, it had looked like it was tailored to her. However, it didn't look nearly as amazing on her then as it did in front of Alexa now. "You okay?" "Yeah, sorry. You look absolutely beautiful Mickie," Alexa said and Mickie blushed."Well thank you, you cleaned up nicely yourself," Mickie said with a small smile. Alexa grabbed her keys, locked her apartment, and then followed Mickie down to her truck. "I cleaned it up a bit.""I'm impressed," Alexa said and Mickie got the door for her. Alexa thanked her and once Mickie was in the car, leaned over the center console to give her a kiss. Mickie accepted it, but kept it brief."I want to keep looking good until after dinner," Mickie told her. Alexa pouted, which got her one more kiss before dinner, but knew the wait would be worth it. Mickie drove Alexa to a restaurant out of town so that they could be alone without a hitch from anybody trying to give them crap."It's gonna suck having to either stay in or leave town for our dates," Alexa said and Mickie shrugged it off. "I'm sorry that I'm a hassle.""You aren't a hassle. I like driving around and eventually everything will blow over," Mickie promised. Alexa gave her a small smile, even if she wasn't completely sure that was the case. Mickie didn't drink, so Alexa only had a glass of wine with her meal. Mickie told Alexa about what she'd done before she started working at Queendom and then what she did during the break that she had taken. Alexa was fascinated, she had never really thought about Mickie being a wrestler, and now wanted nothing more than to see old footage of her fights. Maybe Alexa would see if Mickie would show her a few moves."Dessert ladies?" Mickie glanced at Alexa before nodding to the waiter. Mickie ordered dessert and then took the check, paying it before Alexa registered what happened."You're not getting out of this so easily," Alexa said and Mickie shrugged. "I'm paying you back.""Not right now," Mickie said with a small smirk."I'll start when we get back to your place," Alexa said, leaning forward. Mickie reached out for Alexa's hand and kissed her knuckles softly. After dinner, Mickie drove them back to her house and walked Alexa upstairs to her bedroom. Mickie leaned in for a kiss and Alexa happily granted it to her. Mickie deepened the kiss and Alexa leaned back to take off her blazer. Mickie let Alexa unzip her dress, allowing Alexa to feel Mickie's skin beneath her fingertips. Alexa broke the kiss with Mickie and sighed contently."Everything okay?" Mickie asked and Alexa nodded."I want to stop," Alexa said and Mickie raised an eyebrow at her. "Tonight was perfect and I want us to just be together right now. We don't have to have sex right now.""Okay, that's fine," Mickie said. "I'm gonna get ready for bed though, do you need to shower or anything?""Um, sort of," Alexa said and Mickie let her go first. As gorgeous as Mickie thought Alexa normally was, she looked even more beautiful with her makeup washed off of her face and in a pair of Mickie's old athletic shorts and a shirt from an independent wrestling circuit she used to work. Mickie gave Alexa a kiss before she got herself all cleaned up for bed. Alexa normally didn't like just staying over with someone like what she was doing with Mickie, but Mickie made her feel safe and loved.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
"Ru-Ru!" Liv yelled as she ran towards Ruby. Ruby opened her arms to catch Liv and she held her pink haired friend tightly. "I missed you.""I missed you too," Ruby said with a small smile. "Even though we were only separated a weekend.""Well, you went out with Sarah for that little romantic getaway and well, not to brag, but I got a little something myself," Liv said. She obviously wanted Ruby to ask her about it, and Ruby did, against her better judgement."And what exactly did you get?" Ruby asked, holding back on the little sigh that was dying to crawl out."Well, Steph knows me so well. She got me some Jordans and then took me out for pizza. Oh, it was great, absolutely amazing!" Liv screeched and Ruby smiled at how happy her friend was. "I was sort of nervous though, I guess I still am. What if she doesn't really like me like that?""I'm pretty sure that woman loves you more than she loves this club," Ruby said and Liv looked hopeful. "I mean, you guys are crazy about each other.""I definitely love her," Liv said happily. "I'm gonna go tell her!""Liv, where are you going?" Ruby asked as Liv just ran into Queendom. She ran up to Stephanie's office and sat down on the corner of Stephanie's desk. Stephanie looked up from her computer to see Liv's leg on top of the file that she had been looking over for a new security guard, Rhea."Just a second Hunter, I have something to deal with," Stephanie said, hanging up the phone. She turned to Liv and put her hand on Liv's thigh. "What can I do for you?""I love you," Liv said and Stephanie was taken aback. "Sorry for bothering you, but I was talking to Ruby and it just sort of came into my head and I had to tell you." "Liv, um, I don't know what to say," Stephanie said, a little flabbergasted."You don't have to say it back right now, it's okay. Relationships are processes, you're teaching me that. I know I skipped a few steps in the process by doing that, but I wanted you to know. Sometimes I get nervous about what I am to you and I don't you want to feel that way with me," Liv said and Stephanie pulled her in for a kiss. Normally Stephanie had a policy about keeping personal relationships out of business, especially when it was something important to the club, but she didn't care. She had already hung up on Hunter, so she was free to just enjoy a little bit of time with Liv for as long as she wanted to."Calm down," Stephanie said softly. Liv nodded and rested her forehead against Stephanie's. "I love you too Liv. Are you ready for your dance tonight?" "Yeah, are you gonna be out there watching me?" Liv asked and Stephanie didn't have an answer for Liv. There was always so much going on earlier in the night, when Liv normally went on, and Stephanie wanted to see her partner dance, but she also had a business to run. "Because I wanna look at you when I do this one.""I'll make the time for it if I don't already have it," Stephanie promised."Thank you." Liv leaned down to kiss her and Stephanie happily accepted the kiss."Hey there hot stuff," Eva said, leaning over the bar at Alexa. It was a rare night when Stephanie had put Eva behind the bar. Alexa doubted that Eva was legitimately qualified to be a bartender, but there was only really beer at this bar. It was essentially just taps, where most of the frat boys would hang out whenever they decided to come out for the night. Eva always worked those nights, mainly because she flirted with them better than most of the other girls. "You've been giving me the cold shoulder lately.""Eva, let's face it, we only talk to each other whenever we want something. What do you want?" Alexa asked. She turned her head to face Eva, keeping her body turned away."I think you know what I want baby," Eva said, dragging her finger down Alexa's arm. Alexa looked at Eva's finger for a moment before taking Eva's hand and moving it off of her. "What, you don't want me anymore?" "No I don't," Alexa said and Eva scoffed. "You're beautiful and sexy Eva, but I'm not looking for what we had anymore.""You're not looking for great sex, bummer," Eva said and Alexa sighed. "Who are you fucking that's better than me? Is it Charlotte again? Nia?""Eva, shut up," Alexa said sharply."It's none of those women Eva," Mickie said. Both Eva and Alexa looked at the older woman who was sitting at the bar with a glass of wine. "It's me, and I'd really appreciate it if you kept your hands off of Alexa from now on.""Oh, are you two exclusive?" Eva asked and Mickie glanced at Alexa. Things were early for them, too early for either of them to really know whether or not to classify themselves as anything."It's none of your business. The only thing you need to know is that I don't want you anymore," Alexa said and Eva scoffed at that. It was pretty obvious that she was hurt, but Alexa couldn't bring herself to really care. Caring wasn't necessarily something Alexa Bliss did well, but if it was the right person, she could. "Sorry about her.""It's fine," Mickie said, leaning in to kiss Alexa's cheek. "You know, I'm really proud of you. I didn't expect that to go over so well.""I wouldn't call that going over well," Alexa said and Mickie shrugged. "What I mean is, people say a lot of things and you proved them wrong. You're trustworthy and amazing," Mickie said and Alexa tried not to focus on the idea that Mickie might have found her untrustworthy at some point. She didn't blame her at all, but it was nice not to think about."I have to go," Stephanie said as Liv's lights hit. Stephanie hung up her phone and walked out of her office. She didn't go down to the floor, there were distractions there, instead she stayed up towards her office. She leaned against the railings as she watched Liv's dance. Liv seemed to be looking for her for a moment before their eyes met. Stephanie's heart skipped a beat whenever Liv looked at her. Stephanie was stuck between wanting to keep eye contact with Liv and watching the way that the younger woman's body moved on the stage. She switched between the two, deciding that no matter what she still came out the winner of the scenario. Liv couldn't come up to Stephanie's office until her shift ended at 11, so she was stuck working the floor as a waitress after her dance. Once Liv's dance was over, Stephanie went back into her office and tried to get Hunter back on the phone. "Oi," Paige said, poking her head into Stephanie's office. Stephanie looked up at Paige and motioned for her to come in. "Why didn't you tell me that Lita was here?""Because you were on a date with Natalya. She told me about your date night and that was more important. Trish said they'll be back in a couple of weeks to audition dancers for Lita's new video," Stephanie said and Paige's jaw dropped."Dude, Becky and I should be there," Paige said and Stephanie sighed at her. "We spent our teen years thirsting over that woman. Do you know how many thongs Becky bought just to wear outside of her pants?" "No I don't, and I don't really want to. If I let you come to the audition, will you promise to act professional?" Stephanie asked and Paige nodded. "Fine, you can do it, but I want you on your best behavior or else you don't get to come to the release party.""Got it, best behavior," Paige repeated back to Stephanie. Paige left Stephanie's office after that, running into Hunter on her way out. "Hey big man.""Hello Paige," Hunter said, squeezing past her to get into Stephanie's office. "Alright, the only way I'm ever gonna get through this conversation is if I talk to you in person. Did you look at her file?""I did, and she seems like a good fit," Stephanie said and Hunter smiled. "I'd like to hire her. You have other girls for me, don't you?" "They're good, definitely couldn't hurt to add more girls," Hunter said and Stephanie shrugged. "I mean, you could have a new routine a week with enough girls.""Yes, but I can't have too many or else they don't all get enough work," Stephanie pointed out."Split them up with Nattie. I hear she could use some more waitresses and bartenders for her busy nights. Hell, you could open up a new club if you wanted to," Hunter said and Stephanie saw he had a point. She had the funds and girls for a second club, but all she needed to do was find a location. She'd also want to talk to Liv about it, make sure that her partner knew that their time together would become scarce if she opened up a new place. "Think about it. Trip's doesn't really have a lot of need for female dancers." "I mean, it makes free advertising for me," Stephanie joked. Hunter rolled his eyes and stood up from his chair. "What has you running off so suddenly?" "You've got that look in your eye that you need time to think," Hunter said and Stephanie had to give him credit. Years apart and he still knew her like they were still together. "I'll leave you to it, and I better get a ticket to whatever grand opening party you find yourself throwing.""Don't worry, you will," Stephanie promised him."Lita, it's so late. You've had all day, it can wait until tomorrow," Trish whined. Lita got out of their bed, dialing the number that Stephanie had left her with a week and a half ago. "Not like I wanted to cuddle or anything. Yep, no need for wife time, just leave me here alone and naked.""Just don't start round two when I'm not in the room," Lita said with a wink. Trish blushed and threw a pillow towards her wife. Lita stood on the balcony of their apartment, leaning over a bit of railing. "Hello, is this Charlotte Flair?""Not exactly, who's asking?" Lita heard a heavy Irish accented voice on the other end."Lita, I'm a friend of Stephanie's. Can you give me a message?" Lita asked and she swore she heard a squeal on the other end."Becky, give me my phone!" Charlotte yelled at her roommate. "Hello, this is Charlotte. I'm sorry about her. Who is this?" "Lita, you gave me a lap dance," Lita said with a cheeky smile. She turned around to see Trish with her hand under the blanket, obviously touching herself. "I wanted to ask you if you were interested in dancing for a music video I'm shooting at Queendom.""Say yes you sexy dope," Becky said and Charlotte shoved her off of the couch."I don't want to take any opportunities away from the other girls, but I'm definitely interested," Charlotte answered."Great, I'll be back in a couple weeks. We get started next month, I'm glad doing business with you. Thank you," Lita said."Thank you for the opportunity," Charlotte said and Lita hung up with the promise of buying her lunch. Lita ran back into her bedroom and jumped onto the bed before she crawled up to Trish."I believe that I asked for you to not start without me in the room," Lita said, leaning down centimeters away from Trish's face."You could see me, still counts." Trish leaned up and kissed her.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
"Ugh, it's so early," Paige complained. Natalya ignored her and kept walking towards Charlotte and Becky's apartment. Charlotte had called Natalya about something earlier that morning and sounded frantic enough that Natalya decided she had to be there immediately. Paige honestly didn't think she needed to be there, but she didn't want to be home alone in the house with Finn and his hookup. Paige didn't have anything against the guy, but she didn't want to accidentally run into the man she had heard loudly moaning at random hours of the night. "I'm so tired." "You can go sleep in Becky's room or on the couch," Natalya said and Paige huffed."But Charlotte has those nice sheets," Paige whined. Natalya knocked on the front door and it was immediately answered."Hi Becky, is Charlotte up yet?" Becky stared at Natalya blankly for a moment. Then she looked past Natalya at Paige, who was in a similar state of alertness as her. Becky stepped back and let both women into the apartment. Natalya went back to Charlotte's room and Paige flopped into Becky's arms."Get off of me," Becky said, shoving Paige against the door."Kinky, I like it, but be gentle with Charlie," Paige joked and Becky punched her in the shoulder. "Oh boy, you really like her huh?""I'm too tired to talk about this. And why would I with you?" Becky asked."Because I'm your best friend," Paige said with a smug smile. Becky rolled her eyes and flopped onto the couch, covering herself with a mess of blankets. "Don't you have a bed?""Yeah, but this is closer," Becky said and Paige crawled onto the couch with Becky. The two of them laid there, Becky holding Paige on top of her. Both of them were dead tired, but couldn't fall asleep. "I like her, a lot.""I know," Paige said and Becky let out a soft sigh. "She's amazing and I think you two could be really good for each other. When Nattie gets to know you better, she'll agree." "I just don't want to fuck up," Becky said and Paige sat up."Remember to talk to her. Communication is big with Charlotte and if you really feel lost or stuck, talk to Nattie. Charlotte hasn't really had a lot of big relationships in her life, but Nattie's been one of them.""Okay, thank you," Becky said softly. Paige laid back down and both of them found sleep came much easier after talking.Dana woke up to a sweet scent engulfing the air of her girlfriend's house. In a month and a half, it'd be their house and she was so excited for that. Dana's lease would be up and then she could get herself out of her apartment and into this beautiful house where her beautiful girlfriend lived. It would take some getting used to, going from a single bedroom apartment by herself to a three bedroom house with five other girls living in it. The Aussies had the upstairs bedrooms and then Summer and Eva were living in the basement together. Dana got out of bed and walked downstairs to the kitchen, where Emma was moving in every which direction making what seemed like a million different things."Oh boy, are you okay?" Dana asked, hoping that Emma would stop for a second. Summer was sitting down on the edge of the counter next to a plate of cookies, Billie and Peyton were sharing a chair in the corner, and Eva was nowhere to be found. "Babe, stop for a minute." "Don't bother, she's been at this since like 5 this morning," Summer said and Dana huffed. Emma was stress cooking, which meant that there would be a couple trips to get groceries until Emma finally got out of her own head."Where are the eggs?" Emma asked."You used the last of them for the cupcakes," Peyton said and Emma put her head in her hands and screamed. Dana moved to hold her girlfriend and take her out of the kitchen. "You said 5 this morning?" "I was leaving for my run when she started," Summer said and Billie scoffed. "Well, eat up.""Who's gonna tell Dana that her protein powder is gone?" Peyton asked and all of them glanced at Emma."Hey babe, what's going on?" Dana asked, holding Emma's face in her hands. Emma took a couple of deep breaths and Dana could see the exhaustion on her face. "I think you need to go back to bed.""I need to go work out and finish the pie that's in the oven," Emma said and Dana sighed. "Then I promise I'll take a nap. Wait, I want to make you breakfast." "Babe, look at the fucking kitchen, there's nothing to make breakfast with," Dana laughed and Emma frowned. "It's fine though, I promise. Go upstairs and get some rest, then we can get more food and talk about what spurred that on.""Okay, come up and lay with me?" Emma asked and Dana nodded. "Thank you. Summer you know when to take the pie out right?""When the timer goes off, I know," Summer said, not paying much attention to anything other than her phone. Dana took Emma upstairs and got her laid down in the bed."I went to the bank and they rejected the loan," Emma said nonchalantly. Dana frowned, knowing how badly Emma wanted that loan to go through. "If I save up and take a couple extra shifts a week, I can get the money within the next year or so.""That's bullshit, you shouldn't have to wait that long to do this. Talk to Stephanie or someone," Dana said and Emma shrugged it off. "Seriously, you're great at baking, I'm sure that they'd help you. Stephanie and Natalya are close, maybe Natalya could sell your stuff there.""Let's just leave it for now," Emma said and while Dana nodded, she wasn't going to do that. She wouldn't go to Stephanie for the money, but she would go to her to see about getting her stuff sold at Hart Breaker's. Dana sent a text to Summer about bringing some of the stuff that Emma stress baked and bringing it in to Stephanie whenever she went to rehearse her new routine.Charlotte wiped her eyes and looked over at Natalya. In all of her years of knowing the older blonde, harsh words had never really been exchanged between them. Charlotte wasn't necessarily upset about what was said to her, but rather the manner of which it had been said. Well, yelled would be a more accurate description. Natalya was sitting on the opposite end of Charlotte's bed, trying to calm herself down. Natalya didn't get heated often, Charlotte had only seen it happen maybe 4 times in the past decade. Charlotte was trying desperately to cry as quietly as she could, not wanting to draw any attention from Natalya, who was not having any sort of bullshit from Charlotte."I'm sorry," Natalya said quietly. "I was a little mean, but you needed to hear it honey.""I know," Charlotte sniffled. Natalya crawled over the bed so she was sitting next to Charlotte. "I use Alexa as an excuse to not put myself out there when we weren't all that serious. It was just two people using each other for comfort they weren't getting elsewhere. I've got no reason not to ask Becky out, other than I'm a coward." "You're not a coward, you're just scared. I think Becky might be a little scared too though, you're intimidating," Natalya said and Charlotte bit back a laugh. "Seriously, you're tall and could obviously kick anybody's ass. You said she flirts with you.""She compliments me and it makes me feel nice," Charlotte said with a little smile. "She sits with me when she gets off of work after closing sometimes. It's so obvious that she's dead tired, but she'll still sit there with me. If I fall asleep on the couch, she'll always take me back to her room. She never goes in my room unless she asks firsts.""Different from Paige?" Natalya asked and Charlotte nodded. Natalya was happy that Charlotte had somebody special in her life, even if they weren't as serious as they could be. "I can tell that she really cares." Charlotte's eyes got a dreamy haze over them."I should get going, it's almost noon," Natalya said and Charlotte nodded. Charlotte walked Natalya out and then woke Paige up without waking up Becky."It's time for you to go home," Charlotte said and Paige trudged out of the apartment tiredly. Charlotte turned around and looked at Becky, sleeping so peacefully. She turned around and made a cup of tea for Becky, wanting to wake her up with something pleasant. Charlotte set the cup of tea down on the table in front of Becky and then kneeled in front of the orange haired Irishwoman. "Becks, wake up. Come on, you don't want to oversleep." "Mhm," Becky moaned and Charlotte brushed a piece of hair out of Becky's eyes. "What time is it?""A litlte past noon," Charlotte said and Becky slowly sat up. "I made you a cup of tea.""Thanks lass," Becky said with a little grin on her face. Charlotte moved onto the couch and Becky turned and put her legs on Charlotte's lap."I'm sorry, but as resident tall person of this household, I'm going to have to veto that shit," Charlotte said, pushing Becky's legs off of her. Becky frowned and then Charlotte moved so her head was on Becky's lap and her body was covering the rest of the couch. 'Much better, don't you agree?""My legs are a little cramped," Becky grumbled."Yes, but you're lucky. There are plenty of people who would do questionable things to have me on their laps," Charlotte teased."I doubt that they're thinking it in this way," Becky quipped and Charlotte sat up. She turned and straddled Becky's lap. Becky blushed and tried to look anywhere except for Charlotte's cleavage, but that wasn't working very well. "I can't see the TV.""There's nothing on the TV Becks," Charlotte pointed out. Becky blushed and swore under her breath. "Such a dirty mouth, tsk tsk. Maybe I'll have to do something about that." "Trust me lass, out of the two of us, you're not the one doing anything." Becky's voice got lower and Charlotte felt her face heat up a bit."Oh really?" Charlotte asked. Becky nodded and quickly flipped them so that Charlotte was on her back. Becky was about to kiss Charlotte and Charlotte was about to kiss Becky whenever Becky just sat up."You can't complain about this being not fair because you started it," Becky said, sitting back in her spot. Charlotte took a couple of deep breaths and then sat back up. This time, she was very close to Becky, but not quite touching her. "So, um, things got a little heated." "Only a little though," Charlotte said and Becky nodded. "I would have liked them to get a bit more heated honestly.""Charlotte, I'm not good with relationships. I'm not sure how ready I am," Becky said and Charlotte nodded."Well, that's fine Becky, but I can't wait around forever. Letting myself just sit there doing nothing only pushes me back into myself," Charlotte said. She stood up and Becky looked up at the tall blonde."I'm not good at talking about things. That's my problem. I try to do other things instead of talking my problems out. If you can hold me accountable to that shit, I'd really like to see how things go between us," Becky said and Charlotte nodded. "Great, can I take you out sometime?""Of course, I know this great restaurant downtown, Hart Breaker's," Charlotte said with a teasing smile."Let's go somewhere Paige absolutely won't be," Becky suggested."I know a few places she's banned from," Charlotte said with a large grin.
