Caitlin quickly snuck away from the others to go call a friend. A water pipe in her apartment had burst and after the repairs she went to the store. Unfortunately, she couldn't find the right color to match the other walls in her living room. She knew a person who lived in British. She hoped he could help her. He answered on the third ring.
“Hello?”
“Hello Harry.”
“Oh hello Caitlin. How are you?” He asked.
“I'm good. You?” She asked.
“Doing okay. Did you need something?” She wasn’t one to randomly call.
“Yes. Could you come to Central? I need help with my living room.” She answered.
“Sure can. What's wrong with your living room?” He asked.
“A pipe burst and now I need to paint the wall and I can't seem to find the correct shade.” She told him.
“I see. Well I will get on a flight tomorrow.” He told her.
“Great. Thanks so much for doing this.” She said.
“No problem. See you soon.” He said.
“See you soon.”
Caitlin hung up the phone and returned to work. Harry was a secret that she kept from everyone except for Ronnie. Caitlin's father had been a squib. She had grown up with him bashing the magical world. She had gone to London with Ronnie when she met Harry. She promised to keep his secret. After metas became a thing she still kept quiet. After what had happened with Wells she was glad that she did.
“You okay Caitlin?” Barry asked, seeing her far off look.
“Yes I am Barry.” She reassured the alpha.
“Okay.”
“Why did you ask?” She asked.
“Well you looked troubled and I know that I wasn't the only one affected by the Wells/Reverse Flash future thing.” He said.
“That's true. Don't worry I wasn't thinking about him. I was thinking about my apartment.” She assured him.
“Okay. Well I was just making sure.” He said.
“Thank you Bare.” Caitlin smiled at him.
“You're welcome.” His stomach growled.
“We should probably feed you.” The beta said.
Barty laughed. “Probably.”
“Let's go.”
“Okay.” The two left to go get food.
-With Harry-
“Hey Gin.” He greeted the alpha.
“Hey Harry.”
“What's up?” The omega asked when he saw her face.
“Mum is mad that instead of bonding with you I bonded with Luna.” She had thought her mum would have warmed up to it since she had been courting Luna since they were in seventh year and that was four years ago.
“I'm sorry.” He felt bad for her.
“Not your fault.” Ginny snorted. “It is theirs for not accepting. Sure I had a crush on you when I was younger but I grew up. I fell for Luna and you are like my brother.”
“I know but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt you.” He said.
“True.” She sighed. “Anyway how are you doing?”
“Good. I will be going to Central city in America for a job.” He informed her.
“Oh?” She looked at him in curiosity.
“Caitlin needed some help with her apartment.” He said.
“I see.” Her brother was quick to help anyone and that was what she loved about him.
“So I'll be going there tomorrow.” Harry said.
“Lucky.” She muttered.
“Sorry.” She pouted at the omega. “Luna and you can come with me.” He offered.
“Really?” She asked.
“Of course.” He loved spending time with the two and they needed to get away for awhile.
“I'll talk to her about it.” She said.
“Great. Let me know soon since I'm leaving tomorrow.” He said.
“Okay.”
“See you.”
“Yup! See you later.”
-With Caitlin-
‘I feel bad for not telling.’ Caitlin thought as she went through some papers.
“You okay Cait?” Barry asked.
“Yeah, why?” She asked.
“You don't look good.” He told her.
Caitlin sighed. “I'm missing Ronnie.”
“I-im sorry.” He looked so guilty.
The beta inwardly cursed herself. “Barry I'm not angry nor do I blame you.”
“I blame myself.” He said.
“I know. I'm telling you to stop.” She said.
“B-”
“No. Stop it!” She hated that he blamed himself when it wasn’t his fault.
“Caitlin I-”
The beta interrupted him once more. “The blame lies on that creep speedster from the future! Not on you!”
“I guess.” He muttered. ‘It is my fault. I should have stopped Reverse Flash before he created a black hole. Instead I let him get into my head.’
“Yeah well I know.” She said.
“Okay.”
“Go home and get some rest.” She said.
“Okay. Bye Caitlin.”
“Bye Barry.” He left. ‘That was close. I'll have to make sure to drill it into his head that he isn't responsible. Next time I need to use a different excuse.’ Caitlin thought. ‘First though I need to go home and get some rest.’ She too went home.
-With Barry-
The alpha entered his home. He managed to avoid Joe as he went upstairs to his room. He laid down on his bed and closed his eyes.
‘He was right. I am a terrible alpha and an even worse friend.’ He thought.
He wasn't interested in omegas. Ever since he was a kid he had been in love with a beta. He had failed to save said beta's fiancé and then he failed to save Caitlin's husband. Barry continued to fail.
“He should have killed me when I was a kid. It would have saved others.” He sighed.
He hated himself for it. He ruined everything and if he had died that night his mom would have lived and his dad would be free. He always screwed everything up. Barry eventually fell asleep.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
-With Harry-
Harry looked around the room one last time. He wanted to make sure he didn't forget anything. He didn't want to bother Kreature. He was getting old and barely left Regulus’ room.
He exited his room and put his things in the car. He drove to Luna’s house since that was where they were living at the moment. He honked and waited. It didn't take long for the two to left the house.
“You two ready?” He asked them.
“Yes we are.” Ginny answered as she put their things in the trunk.
“Great. Let's go then.” He said.
“Okay.”
The two entered the car and Harry drove to the airport. The group had decided to travel the muggle way to stop the others from finding them. Hermione wouldn't be able to help because she was no longer well versed in the muggle world. She thought she was but she wasn’t.
“I don't like this.” The alpha frowned.
“Sorry Ginny. If it makes you feel better I have some dreamless sleep potions. I plan on taking one.” He took one because he became sick when he was in an airplane.
“No. I need to be awake for this.” Her need to protect Luna and Harry was strong.
“Oh okay.” He understood.
“Don't worry Gin. Nothing bad will happen.” Her omega reassured. “No alpha will go near Harry since you are around.”
“They better not.” She grumbled.
“Flight 256 to New York City is now boarding. Repeat flight 256 is now boarding.”
“That's us.” Harry said.
“I thought we were going to Central?” Ginny asked.
“We are. To avoid the others we are going to New York then we are taking a flight to Sunshine Harbor before driving to Central. I'm not too sure how much Granger knows about tracking stuff like this. I bought the tickets under different names.” He was cautious even if he didn’t think she would be able to track them.
“Oh I see.” It made sense to her.
“Well let's go.”
“Alright.”
The three boarded the plane. Harry had gotten them seats right next to each other. Harry sat next to the window. Luna was in the middle and Ginny sat on the outside. Harry took his potion and fell asleep. His head rested on Luna’s shoulder.
-With Molly and Hermione-
“Oh Hermione you look beautiful.” Molly complimented.
“Thanks Molly.” She smiled at the woman.
“You're welcome dear. You really should get this dress.” She encouraged.
“I think I will. It is in my price range.” She really liked the dress.
“Wonderful.”
“Yeah. Wish Ginny would stop being so stubborn so she can be here.” She sighed.
“I know. It makes me wish Harry didn't let his fame go to his head. He corrupted my baby. Albus tried everything.” She scowled.
“This situation makes me really glad that I'm a beta and so is Ron.” She said as she looked at herself in the mirror.
“Omegas were always weak in both mind and body. It was why he needed so much help defeating the dark Lord who was an alpha.” She said.
“Oh well. Ginny will eventually come around and then she'll get Harry to obey.” Hermione said.
“Indeed. Ooh this dress looks lovely.” She told her future daughter-in-law.
“Yes it is.” It was a perfect bridesmaid dress.
“We'll have to send Ginny here to get it once she fixes her mess.” She said.
“We should. Don't worry Molly we will convince Ginny to unbond with Looney. She'll bond with Harry and then everything will be alright.” She never liked the blonde omega nor the friendship she had with Harry.
“True.”
“Ginny will then get Harry to quit that stupid job and take his place at home raising the pups.” She truly believed that.
“Exactly.”
Unbeknownst to them the two were overheard by an employee. She overheard every word. She was very angry with what she heard. Alexa was an omega and she was offended by what they had said about omegas.
‘Omegas aren't weak and we don't have to be a stay at home parents. We sure as hell are not property.’ She thought angrily.
Alexa liked Potter. During the war many buildings had been damaged. Potter had helped rebuild and repair those damaged buildings. It was how he found his passion. It was the same thing with interior decorating. He had helped to decorate those buildings and fell in love with decorating.
‘Unbond? Are they stupid?’ Alexa thought. ‘From what I heard Ginny Weasley bonded with someone she loved. How could they not support her?’
Alexa had an idea that caused her to smirk. She went on break. She wrote a letter explaining what she had overheard and provided the memory of it as proof. She then sent it to the newspaper. Alexa wanted everyone to find out what kind of person the Wealseys truly were.”
-With Ron and Arthur-
“You ok at Ron?” Arthur asked his youngest son.
“No. Harry isn't here and everyone else is mad at me.” He answered as he examined the tux he was wearing.
“What?” That was news to him.
“Harry got on my case about Ginny and the others agreed.” He told them.
“What about?” He asked.
“How we’re treating her.” He answered.
Arthur scowled. “He has no right. We aren't abusing her so we aren't doing anything wrong.”
“That's what I said. Harry told me that we should be happy that she bonded with someone she loves and makes her happy.” It still pissed him off that his omega friend thought he had a say in how they treated Ginny.
“Luna Lovegood is crazy. Why would I be happy and supportive of that? If he hadn't let fame go to his head he would know his place. He needs to remember that he had help fighting and that omegas have no right telling someone of higher status what to do. As a beta you are above him.” He said.
They had no idea Luna was a seer and they seemed to forget that they lost their status as a noble house and Luna’s family and Harry’s did not. Technically that but both omegas above them. Luna was the lady of her house and Harry was lord of his. In the wizarding world status depended on blood, money, status, and then gender. That and omegas were very protected by law and therefore they weren’t allowed to treat them like they were property.
“I know. When I told my brothers they were pissed at me for how I treated Harry.” Ron told his dad.
“That is why Harry ended up like this. They spoiled him too much.” He shook his head in exasperation.
“I know. Luckily mom and Hermione have a plan. They will get Ginny to see reason and once she bonds with Harry, he will be put in his place.” He told him.
“The sooner the better. He has gotten out of control. This is why omegas have alphas. It is to keep them under control.” He said.
“Yeah.” He agreed.
“Let's forget about that for now. We are here for you not a stupid omega.” He said to his son.
“You're right.”

-With Barry and Caitlin-“Good morning Barry.” Caitlin greeted when she spotted the alpha.“Good morning Caitlin.” He greeted. ‘Good. She’s here.’“Is something wrong?” She asked when she saw him biting his lip.“Yes and no.” He said.“What?” The beta looked confused.“I have something to show you.” He said as he went over to her.“Oh?” She looked at him.“I… Martin and I were doing some research to help stabilize him until we could find a candidate that was compatible.” He told her.“I know. What’s wrong?” She asked. “Did you find something and need my help?”“We found something. We decided to look at people who left Central after the accelerator incident. There was a doctor who transferred. He turned out not to be compatible but his patient was.” He said.“That’s great.” She smiled at him.“Yeah. Here look at the patient.” He gave her the file.Caitlin took it only to drop it as she gasped. “That’s Ronnie!” She said.“Yeah. He’s in a coma at Starling General. He survived and ended up in Starling. He had no ID so he was just labeled as a John Doe.” He said.“He’s alive?” She asked with tears in her eyes.“Yes.” He hugged her.“Oh my.” She said.“Yeah. We are having him transferred here. I figured we would have a better chance at figuring out what is wrong with him.” Barry said.“Thank you. Oh Thank you.” She sobbed into his chest.“You’re welcome.” He said.-Burrow-Molly was in the living room when the letter arrived. Arthur was in the study and Ron was in his room. Hermione was at work. Molly untied the letter from the owl and read it. She turned red with anger.“I can’t believe this!” She scowled.She stood up and went to the study. Arthur looked up when the door opened. Seeing his wife’s angry look he put the quill down.“What’s wrong dear?” He asked.“The boys aren’t coming to the wedding.” She said.“What?” He looked shocked.“They sent me this letter.” She held it up. “They said that they refuse to come since we are being awful. Apparently they agree with Harry and Ginny. They refuse to talk to us until we apologize.”“Are you serious?” He asked.“Yes.” She said.“Ridiculous. This has to stop.” He said.“Indeed it does.” Molly agreed.“DAD!? MUM?!” Ron yelled.“STUDY!” Ron ran in. “What’s wrong?” Molly asked him.“Here.”Ron gave her the newspaper. She read the contents and paled. She quickly handed it off to Arthur. He too paled at the article.“This isn’t happening.” He denied.“How’d they find out about this?” Molly asked.“I think Ginny told them.” Ron said.“I can’t believe she would betray us like that.” She said, shaking her head.“She didn’t” The three turned to see Kingsley Shacklebolt. “Molly and Hermione were overheard by an employee talking. She went to the papers. You and Ron were also overheard talking. The employee did the same. An investigation was done and you are all under arrest for stealing, illegal spell and potion use, attempting to mess with a bond, and attempting to force a bond. I’m sure more will be added later.” He said.“WHAT?!” The three yelled in shock.“Cuff them.” He ordered the aurors with him.“You can’t do this to us!” Ron yelled.“You’ll find that we can.” Kingsley said.The three fought but were no match for the trained aurors. They were taken to a holding cell in the ministry. Hermione had been arrested at her job. She was in a cell next to Ron’s. Their trial had been set for next week.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
-S.T.A.R Labs-
It didn't take them long to get Ronnie transferred to the lab. He was now laying on a bed in the med bay. Caitlin stared at her husband. She couldn't believe he was still alive. She just hoped it wasn't a dream. Martin entered the room. He was leaning on Barry for support.
"I'm ready. Let's do this." He said.
"Alright. Everything's ready." Barry said as he stepped away from the man.
Martin took a deep breath before he placed his hand on Ronnie's chest. In a flash of light the two merged. They watched as Firestorm took shape. He stood up and stayed like that for a few minutes before they separated. Martin stood off to the side. He looked better than he had since the black hole.
Next to him was Ronnie. He was no longer in a coma. He was looking around in confusion. Caitlin teared up and tackled him with a hug.
“You’re awake!” She cried into his chest.
The beta held his wife close. “Yeah. What happened? I assume we managed to close the black hole?”
“We did. Um, sit down.” Barry said.
“Okay.” He had a feeling he wasn’t going to like what they were going to tell him.
Caitlin moved and the two sat down. The others took turns explaining what happened after he went into the black hole. Ronnie once more hugged Caitlin close.
“Wow.” He was stunned.
“Yeah.” Martin agreed.
“You guys should go home. Rest and reconnect.” The alpha smiled at them.
“We will.” Ronnie said.
“Thanks Barr.” Caitlin smiled at him.
“You’re welcome.” He smiled back.
They all left. Martin went back home. Caitlin and Ronnie did the same. Cisco and Barry were the only ones left.
-With Harry, Luna, and Ginny-
“Oh my Merlin!” Luna gasped.
“What?” Ginny was by her side in a matter of seconds.
“You’re parents, Ron, and Hermione were arrested.” She told them.
“What?” Harry and Ginny said together in shock.
“They were wedding shopping and talking about us. Employees overheard and went to the paper. They wanted to expose them. They sent it to the aurors and they investigated them and found enough evidence that they commited a crime and were arrested. The older Weasleys are on our side.” She explained.
“Wow.” He said.
“Yeah. Their trial is in a week.” She told them.
“Good.” Ginny loved her parents and brother but they did deserve to be punished for their crimes.
Ring! Ring!
“I’ll be back.” Harry said.
“Okay.” The two females said.
The omega left the room and answered the phone. “Hello?”
“Hi Harry.” Caitlin said.
“Hey. Are you okay?” He could hear something in her voice.
“Ronnie’s alive.” She said.
“What?” That was a shock.
“Hey Hare bare.” A male voice greeted him.
“Holy shit.” He gasped. “Hey Ronnie.”
“He’ll be at the apartment tomorrow so just walk right in.” She said.
“Okay. I’ll see you then.” He said.
“Okay. Bye.” Ronnie said.
“Bye.” His wife said soon after.
“Yeah bye.” He hung up the phone. “Wow today had been a day for miracles.”
