Aizawa tapped the almost completely worn out piece of chalk on the surface of his podium as he glared at his students in a mixture of disgust and disappointment. Almost all of them were looking back at their stern teacher with a look of abject fear in their eyes. Everybody was well aware of Aizawa's reputation of being strict and ruthless and all but the top students in the class were worried about being expelled for a minor slight against the school's code of conduct. Even some students in the top five were a bit nervous about what Aizawa was gonna say to them. Well, it was just Midoriya who was shaking in his seat and he was just scared for his classmates.After a long moment of deliberation, Aizawa finally did something- namely vigorously wiping his eye and mumbling "Damn eyelash" before looking at his students again and clearing his throat."Some of the training facilities we were supposed to work in are in repair due some of the upperclassmen going overboard during their time there. Due to that and the construction crew needing time to make repairs, you all lucked out. Class is dismissed as soon as I finish this announcement and it also won't be taking place tomorrow and that combined with the upcoming weekend gives you quite a bit of time off. Now normally we would assign extra homework in compensation for the lost time but you all dealt with way more than any high school student should...even as a student of this particular school. Make use of this break to take things a bit easier."Aizawa yawned and crawled back into his sleeping bag as his students were struggling to take in the entire situation."Well...I must admit that a couple days to ourselves sounds like a godsend" Yaoyorozu quipped as she stretched her arms behind her back.Iida nodded "Indeed, class rep duties have been quite taxing these past couple of weeks what with all the events our class had took part in. I'd say that this was a well-earned break."Todoroki glanced at Midoriya and noticed that his friend was shaking in fear."Midoriya, you seemed scared at whatever Aizawa was about to say before he told us we won't be having any school tomorrow. Why is that?""Well...I uh, was scared that he might expel someone from the class judging by the way he was staring at us all. You know Aizawa's reputation and all…"Todoroki tilted his head "But why would you be scared? You're one of the best students in the class so there's no way you'd be in danger of being expelled."Midoriya blushed as he rubbed the back of his neck "You see...I wasn't exactly scared about what might have happened to me. I was afraid for someone else." As Midoriya said that, his gaze was fixated on a certain pink classmate of his, which Todoroki noticed."Oh, you were worried about Ashido because she's your girlfriend, right? That makes sense. You wouldn't want your girlfriend to be expelled because then you won't get to see her every day and it would make sense that you were worried for her since she is ranked low in the class."If anyone else had said that, Midoriya would have been angry at the insult on behalf of his girlfriend but Todoroki was actually very earnest and logical in his observations.He just had the social skills of a turnip."...Yeah Todoroki, that's why I was scared.""Good thing Aizawa was really giving us a break.""Yeah, this actually works out well for me. Mina and I are supposed to go on a date tomorrow but usually it's a hassle having her complete her complete her homework before we go out. Because of Aizawa giving us free day, I guess Mina's gonna work on her stuff so we have more time for out date."Todoroki nodded "Yeah, so I guess everything worked out for you.""It feels good to be lucky…"Todoroki huffed in amusement. "Yeah, you tend to have the worst luck whenever things get bad here so I'm glad that that karma repaid you."Midoriya smiled "Thanks Todoroki! Do you have anything planned?""Me? I really don't...and I don't make plans either. I sort of just look to either you, Iida, or Yaoyorozu and ask if you guys are doing anything and I just tag along."Midoriya chuckled "Yeah, I noticed that you never think to do anything yourself when it comes to us having free time.""Well...I never really had much time for myself until recently…"Midoriya let out a soft sound of sympathy "I get what you mean…""Besides, Iida, you, and Yaoyorozu have good heads on their shoulders so I don't mind taking a backseat to your plans."Midoriya stroked his chin "It's weird that you're close to me and Iida but you haven't really talked to Uraraka considering how much we all hang out…"Todoroki shrugged "Guess I never really had the chance to talk to her.""Well, she's a good person and a great friend! I think you two would get along great!" Midoriya beamed.Todoroki shrugged once more "Maybe...but I probably will just hang out with Iida or Yaoyorozu over the weekend. Just take the safe bets.""Alright, but I still think you should hang out with Uraraka one of these days. I bet you it would be fine!""Well, I'll make a note of it."On the other side of the room, Mina was busy gushing about the unexpected break to Tsuyu and Uraraka."Can you guys believe that Aizawa gave us two days off plus a weekend!?" Mina squealed"Well...we all heard the announcement and technically the school gave us this time off, not just Aizawa." Tsuyu pointed out, prompting Mina to give her a pointed look"Do you have to be like this all the time, Tsu?""It's really fun" she croaked in response which made Uraraka giggle furiously."Oh, come on Mina, that was a really funny joke!"Mina huffed in mock disdain and crossed her arms "You two are lucky that I'm in a good mood or else you'll both get a burned hard!"Uraraka snorted "You're not Todoroki, Mina. He's the one with the fire quirk!""Hey! Acid burns are just as painful as regular burns.""I'd rather not try to prove either of you two right or wrong" Tsuyu chimed in."Oh please Tsu, Uraraka just made the comparison because she likes Todoroki. She doesn't want me outshining her potential beau." Mina teasedUraraka blushed as she admonished Mina for her snarky comment "Hey, cut that out!""Come on, Uraraka! Just ask him out already! I know guys are supposed to do the asking but look at the type of guys we have in our class. I had to ask Izuku out because, let's face it- that guy was gonna break every bone in his body before he worked up the nerve to ask a girl out.""That's so mean, Mina!" Uraraka grilled her friend"Well, she's not wrong, Uraraka. Do you know how clueless Eijirou could be at times?"Uraraka brushed Tsuyu's point off "Come on Tsuyu, you're just exaggerating-""He asked me out on a date...on our fifth date. He just assumed that that we were having "bro dinners" together. I had to explain to him that nobody but him thinks that's an actual thing.""Okay, but Kirishima and Deku are, uh...unique cases." Uraraka attempted to argue, which caused both Mina and Tsuyu to shoot her an accusatory glance."Remind us who you have a crush on, again?" Tsuyu croaked."Yeah, if Izu and Kiri are clueless than Todoroki is the type to just sell all the evidence." Mina added."I think you two aren't giving him enough credit. He's very observant, you know.""Oh please, all the boys are like ten times better at figuring stuff out when it's because of school. If knowing about me was assigned by a teacher, Izu would know my birthday, favorite food, favorite color, favorite animal, blood type, and loads of other stuff about me. Okay, to be honest, he knows all that stuff now because he's an awesome boyfriend but my point still stands.""Eijirou was the exact same way." Tsuyu decided to add her story. "For a while, I just began to think that he wasn't interested in romance...or at least, at my direction.""Didn't you only start when Bakugou began dating Yaomomo, Tsuyu?" Mina asked "because everyone thought that they had a "thing" too."Tsuyu nodded "That's when I thought that I had a shot but the first few times I tried I didn't get any signs of attraction from him.""That's so weird!" Uraraka declared "Kirishima is super affectionate all the time!""It took him a while to realize that he liked me...well, that's what I thought.""What? Did something else happen?""He confessed that he liked me for a long time actually, but he was just too afraid to ask me.""Kirishima? Afraid? The same guy who jumps headfirst into...everything was afraid? I'm not sure if I could believe that, Tsuyu.""I didn't either. I asked him if he thought being my boyfriend was something he thought was an obligation because he was so friendly to everyone but he didn't like the fact that I thought like that.""Geez, I wonder why your boyfriend wasn't big on the idea of you being a pity date…" Mina rolled her eyes"So what was the deal with you and Kirishima?""He actually had a crush on me since what happened at the USJ back in our first year-""That long?!""According to him, he thought I was cute for even longer than that. It's just that when he heard what me, Mineta, and Midoriya did when we fought the villains.""I don't get it; didn't he kick ass with Bakugou?""Well, he blames himself for all of us getting separated and figured if something bad happened to any of us, it would be all on him. His crush got deeper when he saw me and Tokoyami beat Ectoplasm while him and Sato failed." Tsuyu sighed "Eijirou said that he began to see the huge difference between us and that he never thought that he could be good enough to date me…""Did he really say that?" Uraraka asked as she felt pangs of sympathy within"He did...You don't know how hard it was to convince Eijirou that he was better than he thought he was…""Wow...I didn't know Kirishima had those types of thoughts.""And that's why Tsuyu told you her story, Uraraka! If either Tsuyu or me just waited for Kirishima or Izuku to ask us out, then we would be dating them now. We're trying to tell you to take a chance and just ask Todoroki out."Uraraka twiddled her thumbs "But...do you really think someone like him would give someone like me the time of day? He's rich, top five of the class, has so many girls in the fighting for his attention, is super strong-"Mina stopped her "Hold up, girl. First of all- You're amazing and any guy would be lucky to date you. You're just as awesome as anyone else in this class" She turned to Tsuyu "Tell her, Tsuyu!""...You already did" Tsuyu croaked in response before taking her friend's request seriously"Uraraka, I don't think anyone here cares about how rich or poor anyone else is here. Do any of us look like we would make fun of you or judge you for that? And about the Todoroki having fans...I'm sure that he has a lot of fangirls but so do all of because our class gets in a lot of crap. We all know how Todoroki really is and I don't think anyone else sees him as more of a friend.""I seriously can't believe the fact that I have fangirls. Are you guys just trying to make me feel better?"Tsuyu shook her head "Mina keeps screenshots of people who talk about people in our class on social media. Do you want to hear what some people say?"Against her better judgement, Uraraka agreed to that notion. Mina was over the moon and quickly pulled her phone and began speaking."Man, I saw that frog girl from UA intern with some pro and let me tell you with an outfit like that, I bet once she becomes pro, we're gonna be seeing a lot of her."Uraraka looked at Tsuyu with a shocked expression while Tsuyu herself just shrugged it off. Apparently, Mina had read a lot of those types of comments to her."You wanna hear more? Check this one out "I saw the new Ingenium without his helmet on and that boy could get it" Mina snickered "See? Even Iida is getting in on the action! Hold up, lemme find something about you!""Do I really want to hear it?""Well, you agreed to all this so you're gonna have to hear it. Oh, I found it! "Uravity is thiccer than a bowl of oatmeal!"Uraraka buried her head in her hands in embarrassment while the other two girls just exchanged knowing glances."So, what else excuses ya got? The top five thing makes no sense since Izuku is above Todoroki and I'm below you in class rankings.""Okay, okay...you two have points…but I don't know how I can ask him.""Just be straight with him! Tell him you wanna date him and he just might say yes! Tell you what, I'm gonna make my date with Izuku tomorrow a double date with you and Todoroki!""Do you think Deku would be alright with such a huge change in plans?""Do I think my boyfriend would be alright with helping two close friends get together? Face it Uraraka, if he had known about your crush, he would have offered to do the same."Uraraka cursed how right Mina had been "Well...what if Shouto doesn't like me?""Well, you're not gonna know if you don't ask! You used to say that he was in love with Yaomomo but now you can't use that excuse! What are you gonna say now, he's into Iida?""...Well can I?" after seeing the glare that both Tsuyu and Mina gave her, Uraraka relented"Alright, I'm gonna ask him...but the double date idea is still on the table, right?""Don't worry, I'm gonna finish my homework early and ask Izuku today. Maybe I'll put the moves on him. You know, tell him some secret techniques I've been working on with my quirk-"Tsuyu cut her off "Wait, is that what counts as "putting the moves" on Midoriya?""Listen Tsu, I don't judge your boyfriend's obsession with being a man so don't judge me""Guilty as charged""You know what? you two are right! The worst Shouto could do is say no and a double date would help ease whatever tensions there might be. I have you and Deku to keep me from freaking out and Shouto has Deku if he feels uncomfortable with it all. You're a genius, Mina!""And they say that I'm pretty dim" Mina pat herself on the back "Did you hear that, Tsu? Uraraka called me a genius!""Let's make sure the plan works out before we say anything…"Mina pounded a closed fist into her palm "You're right, Tsuyu! Uraraka! You better ask Todoroki out because I sure as hell am gonna ask Izuku about the plan!"Uraraka gave her pink friend a salute "I promise to do that!"Tsuyu got up off her seat and placed her hand on both of her friend's shoulders "I wish you two luck. The plan sounds good and I wish I could do something to help.""Sorry Tsu, but I don't think bringing you and Kirishima along will help calm Todoroki or Uraraka down. I'm pretty sure Kiri's will probably try to challenge Izuku and Todoroki into doing some challenge.""You're probably right, so I'm gonna have to sit this one out."As class ended, Shouto Todoroki began giving some thought on what one of his closest friends had sad. It was weird...Midoriya was completely right about how he somehow never talked to Uraraka.He remembered Uraraka always being around Midoriya and Iida back when they first started going to UA but the three stopped being a trio. That wasn't exactly fair to say, as the class became closer everyone started hanging out with everyone else. It stopped being a bunch of cliques and groups and more like an actual family.That just made it weirder that he never had much interaction with Uraraka. He figured that he might have slighted her somehow in the past. Todoroki desperately hoped that wasn't the case because he had already done so with Inasa and he felt like garbage whenever he looked back to how terse he was in the past.Of course, the simpler solution to his question was that they just never had the chance to talk to each other. Yeah, that made more sense in his mind. The only person that ever really hated him even when he was his callous was Bakugou and year one Bakugou wasn't the best barometer for how well a person behaved.So, it was obvious that him and Uraraka just never talked. He would have to rectify that soon but at the moment, he didn't know much about Uraraka. Todoroki mentally gathered everything he could about Uraraka from all of his time knowing her and the results were...less than impressive.She was cute. He didn't know why that was the first thought but it was. Then again, it wasn't exactly a false descriptor for her. He recognized cuteness. Baby animals were cute and that was extremely normal so Uraraka being cute was also normal. That was a pretty logical conclusion.He also knew she was poor as dirt. That wasn't exactly a bad thing. Well, it was bad that it was struggling, of course. He just meant that it didn't matter to him that she was poor. In fact, if they ever hung out together, he would totally pay for everything she needed. Not only would that mean that Uraraka didn't have to worry about spending any money that she couldn't afford to lose it also meant that he would waste all his old man's hard-earned cash.A slight smile formed on his face at the thought of showering Uraraka in gifts to screw with his father. Well, it wasn't just Uraraka he could shower with gifts...theoretically, his gift showers could be given to anyone. Okay, that wasn't true at all. Showering Iida and Yaoyorozu with gifts would be in pretty bad tastes since they were both wealthy as well.Uraraka would make the best candidate for spending his dad's money on because she most likely didn't have the opportunity to experience such luxuries.She was also cute...not that it gave her an advantage (it did, though)Shaking off those thoughts, Todoroki made a promise to talk to more people...or at least expand his circle of "regular friends" to include more than Midoriya, Iida, and Yaoyorozu and whoever they bought along whenever they made plans that included him.But that was for another time, right now he just wanted to stay in his comfort zone and hang out with one of his close friends.Todoroki found Iida write outside the building where they had classes talking on the phone. He figured that his friend was talking to Tensei to brag about a high-test score he had. He hated for Iida to finish his conversations as it would be rude to just butt into a call."Hey Iida, how's it going?"Todoroki noticed that his friends gaze was still lingering on the screen of his phone as a genuine smile spread over his face."I'm doing quite well, Todoroki.""I take it Aizawa's announcement is the cause of that?""You can say so. It left my schedule open for some plans.""Plans?""Yes. A...companion and I are set to spend some time together tomorrow since I have nothing to keep me busy.""Alright, I'll join you."Iida rubbed the back of his neck "I...don't think that is an option.""Oh? Why not?""Have you ever heard of the phrase "Two's company, three's a crowd"?""No."Iida blinked "Well, I should have expected this.""Why can't I join? Did I do something to anger you, Iida?""Not at all!" Iida shouted as he gestured wildly "It's just that...I'd rather this be between me and her…""Oh, so it's a date?""Yes, it is.""Then why didn't you tell me that in the first place? I was getting worried that I had done something wrong.""My apologies, I am just a private person and I didn't feel like that was something worth babbling about. I'd rather not be the subject of gossip from Hagakure and Ashido.""That makes sense. I remember both of them teasing Yaoyorozu about her and Bakugou but it was good natured and she took it all in stride.""I assume that's because we were all aware of who Bakugou was by the time they started dating. The same can't be said for me and I'd rather not be the subject of fifty questions from them.""With the way she posts stuff online, it's only a matter of time until everyone finds out."Iida lowered his head "Yes, that is true.""Hey, speaking of Yaoyorozu, is she free to hang out with tomorrow?""I'm sorry to say that she is not. In our last class rep meeting of the week, she informed me that she will be spending the weekend with her family since they rarely spend any time together due to her parents' busy lives."Todoroki nodded "Yeah...that makes sense. Guess I have nothing to do tomorrow…""I'm sorry, Todoroki.""Why are you sorry for? You didn't do anything wrong. I think I will use this time to play those videogames Midoriya and Kirishima let me borrow. Never had the time to play them as a kid…" Todoroki walked away "See you soon, Iida.""I hope you have some fun with whatever you decide to play!" Iida waved back."Mina? Shouldn't you be doing homework right now?" Midoriya asked the girl who was leaning on his doorway with a sly smirk painted on her features."Already done, Izu."Midoriya's eyes widened in surprise upon hearing that "You...did it already?"Mina casually checked her nails as she affirmed his question "Already done.""Really?""Okay, it's not the craziest thing to happen!""But you're the type who puts things off until the last minute…"Mina shrugged "Guess you're rubbing off on me, Izuku. And I can say that in more ways than one" she punctuated that statement with a wiggle of her eyebrows."Mina!" Izuku whined, his face taking a deep crimson color as the innuendo registered in his head."But seriously though, I finished my homework early because I wanted to talk to you about an idea I had about our date.""Okay! I'm all ears!""I want to make it a double date…""You want Tsuyu and Kirishima to tag along?""No, not them.""Kacchan and Yaoyorozu? Never thought they would want to go on a double date but that's alright too.""I was thinking more of Todoroki and Uraraka.""They're dating?"Mina scrunched her face "Well...not yet""Mina, we need a second couple to have a double date.""I know, I know! I told Uraraka to get the guts and ask Todoroki out today. She had a crush on him for the longest time and she was too scared to ask him out. I told her that both me and Tsuyu had to ask you and Kirishima out and that she shouldn't wait for something to happen."Midoriya shook his head in disbelief "I never thought about Uraraka and Todoroki like that. Funny thing is, earlier today I pointed out that Todoroki never talked to Uraraka despite being close friends with me and Iida.""Think that's gonna be on his mind when Uraraka asks him out today?""He would probably be a little weirded out and take that as some sign from the universe or me talking to him about Uraraka might make him more receptive to the idea. It's hard to tell with Todoroki.""So, is he just gonna say yes because of what you said? Don't get me wrong, I like the help with the Todoroki thing but I don't think Uraraka wants your suggestion to be the only reason Todoroki would date her."Midoriya shook his head "No, it's not like that. Todoroki won't do anything like that if he wasn't into the idea. It's more like what I said opened his eyes, you know?""I knew that telling Uraraka to ask Todoroki out was the best idea!""Now all we need to do is see if he's receptive to the idea. It's a good plan, by the way. Double dates would make things less awkward. But now all we can do is hope Uraraka asks him out and that he says yes.""I figured you'd be up to it so that's why I suggested it. We both like Uraraka and we both like Todoroki and we want them to be happy.""True. Let's both hope that it all works out for them. I think Uraraka would be good for him...she's pretty kind and understanding that will help her deal with Todoroki's...lack of social experience.""I'm sure they'll be fine if they do end up dating. If they do then Kirishima and Tsuyu won't be our only competition for cutest couple in the class though and I'm not too sure about how I feel about that."Midoriya chuckled "So do we have any plans for what we're gonna do if Uraraka scores a date and we end up hanging out with them?""We just play it cool and make sure that everything goes smoothly.""Wow...you know things are crazy when I'm the one who has to play things cool…""Guess Todoroki out awkwards you, huh?"Midoriya rolled his eyes "Let's hope that neither Uraraka or Todoroki "out awkwards" me in our double date".After twenty minutes of fiddling with what was apparently a video game console, Todoroki realized that he should have looked up how to set a console up. Before he could bask in the glory of what he had just done, he heard a knock on the door.…He really hoped it wasn't Kirishima asking for his games back since between "Marvel Vs. Capcom 3" and the game that Midoriya borrow, some boring game about mass effects or something, the one with the cool looking characters piqued his interest more.When he got up to open the door however, it was Uraraka. He briefly wondered if Midoriya sent her here to hang out with him and felt a bad about that thought. He didn't want to be some charity case for someone who probably had better things to do."Uraraka, um...is something the matter?"Todoroki noticed that she hesitated a bit before she finally spoke "Yeah...I need to talk to you."He sighed "Well, whatever it is that I did, I apologize-"Uraraka cut him off "Wait? Why are you apologizing for?" her voice was dripping in confusion."...I didn't do anything wrong?""No, you didn't. In fact, if anyone did anything wrong here, it has to be me.""What are you talking about, Uraraka?""Listen Todoroki, I need to get this off my chest- I like you."He blinked in confusion "I like you two, Uraraka."She shook her head "No, not like that...I have a crush on you."Todoroki's eyes briefly widened before going back to normal. He was caught off guard by her confession and didn't know what to make of it. He felt his heart skip a beat and something warm pooled in the pit of his stomach. Todoroki took a quick glance at the left side of body to make sure he didn't set himself on fire before replying."I see...for how long have you felt that way?""For a long time, actually. I've had a crush on you since we were in our first year of high school.""Wow, that's a long time, Uraraka."She lowered her head a bit in embarrassment "Yeah, I know…""I'm not sure if it's okay of me to ask you but...Why do you have a crush on me?""Um, I'm not sure how to answer that question…""It's just that, I'm pretty hopeless when it comes to that stuff...A better man would have noticed you crushing on me.""Are you...trying to bring yourself down?""No, I'm just telling you the truth. You could do better than me...basically, anyone who is aware of basic social etiquette is better than me.""Hey, don't beat yourself up like that! The reason why I have this crush is because you're yourself!""Um…can you explain that?""Well, you're really funny, Todoroki. I'm sure you're not doing it on purpose but you always get laughs out of us! And, you're super nice despite the fact that you could be such a diva since you're rich and your dad's mega famous. You're pretty cute too, and that's a nice bonus.""...Do you not notice the massive scar on the side of my face?"Uraraka sighed in resignation "I should have known that the scar meant so much to you. I can see how it shaped how you look at yourself. I don't know if you're gonna believe me or not but it honestly never made a difference with how I felt about you.""You're not one to lie, Uraraka so you don't have to worry about me doubting you. Thank you for that though, it means more to me than you know." he told her with a smile."I could sit her talk about how I like you for as long as you want if it means that I get to see you smile some more. It's a pretty rare thing to see!"Todoroki chuckled "Alright, maybe I should compile a list of things I like about you now that I'm beginning to notice you in a new light…"Uraraka snorted "Easy there, let's go on a date first, okay?"The word "date" caused Todoroki to panic slightly. While he seemed to take to flirting easily the idea of actually going out scared the hell out of him since he had no idea what to do. Luckily for him, Uraraka noticed his slight change in demeanor and quickly reassured him that it won't be too hard."Mina and Deku are cool with us going on a double date with them, tomorrow…""Really?""Uh-huh. I asked Mina for advice on asking you out and we agreed that a double date would help get you the hang of dates and how they work. Don't worry about intruding on their date, since both Mina and Deku want this as much as I did.""Oh, that sounds really good actually. I'm excited to go on a date with you but…""You have no idea what to do?""Not really, no""It's alright, you don't have to be embarrassed. I'm pretty new to that dating game so I can't judge you if you do something wrong!" Uraraka joked."Alright, where are we headed to?""The Corus Mall in Tokyo. I heard it's really big and has lots of stores we can spend some time in!""Sounds like a pretty good idea. I really should spend my money some more. I have a lot of it." it was only after he said that did Todoroki realize who he was talking to."Oh, sorry for rubbing my wealth in your face like that."Uraraka took it all in stride "It's cool. I can't exactly pretend you're not rich. But it's cute that you felt bad.""Uh, thanks...I think?"Uraraka responded with a chuckle "Alright, I'll see tomorrow at noon.""Are you sure you gave them the right directions, Mina?""Oh, calm down, Izu! Even if I didn't give them any directions, it's not like there aren't like a hundred map apps. I gotta show you two how me and Izu kill it on DDR!"Todoroki and Uraraka glanced at each other before Uraraka announced a change of plans."Actually, Todoroki saw this clothing store on the way here and he looked really interested in it, so do you two mind if we do our own thing while you play games?"A wide grin formed on Mina's face "Of course we don't!"Midoriya raised an eyebrow "We don't? I thought you made this a double date-" As he was speaking, Midoriya realized the plan Mina had formed "On second thought, Mina is right. Arcades could be boring if you aren't into games and you two seem really keen on that store.""Thank you two for being understanding. I'm sorry if we changed any plans that you had." Todoroki said, which caused Mina to snort"Do I look like a girl with a plan? It's a double date, not wedding. You kinda just go with the flow, know what I mean? We'll try not to be late."As Midoriya and Mina watched their friends disappear in the crowd, the pink skinned girl couldn't help but let out a proud sigh."Looks like our kids are growing out, honey" she feigned wiping a tear from her eyes."I get what you were trying to do with letting them go out on their own, but aren't you worried about them?""They're clueless Izuku, not kids. They are probably gonna have a decent time doing whatever. Rather unexpectedly, Todoroki panicked and let out a surprised "No!""What's wrong?""I don't want you to get injured. Bad things happen to people's arms around me. I think that if we held hands your arm will be injured."Uraraka giggled before snapping her fingers "I gotcha! You believe in curses, huh? A lot of people in the town I grew up in were superstitious like that. Just follow me, kay?"Todoroki nodded his head and let Uraraka lead the way.In her head, Uraraka was over the moon with joy. She just assumed that Todoroki made up a weird excuse since he was too nervous to hold her hand!Meanwhile, Todoroki let out a relieved sigh and thanked god that Uraraka got his reasoningTodoroki stared at the fairly large store that apparently was called "Sty-LisH". Todoroki wondered what the point of the hyphen was. But before he would wonder any further, Uraraka led him inside."Wow, this place has some really nice clothes! If you want to take a look, the guy's section is in the back.Todoroki gave her nod before heading to the back of the store."Hey...this does look good" his hands were feeling up a brown bomber jacket. Todoroki never really cared about what he was wearing, mostly because the clothes he always wore were fairly plain but this looked really nice. His eyes then drifted towards an icy blue turtleneck before Uraraka interrupted him."How do you like the place?""I've never seen clothes like this...I may not want to wear stuff like this all the time but they are pretty good looking. I really should care more about what I'm wearing, to be honest"Uraraka rolled her eyes before laughing "That sounds like a good idea. Hey, you mind if I get your thoughts on something?""Sure…""I thought this outfit would look really good on me. He knew that Uraraka was cute but something but seeing in such an outfit made him reconsider his ideas of "cute."She was wearing an off the shoulder top that was a shade of red that reminded him of his own flames. Along with the lovely top, Uraraka also had on a pair of dark blue jeans that hugged her hips and made Todoroki realize that Uraraka had an amazing figure.Uraraka placed one hand at the back of her head while another one gripped her hip "So, how do I look?""...You look really nice.""Really?""Yes...I have no reason to lie to you…""I felt like wearing something nice but once I got out of the dressing room, I realized why I don't buy clothes like this often…""And why is that?""Hello! The shirt Todoroki was wearing was halfway off when he heard a loud screech erupt from Uraraka."What happened?" Todoroki didn't notice that Uraraka had her eyes averted from his body."Why are you taking off your shirt in public?! There's a changing room!""...Isn't that changing room just for women?" he asked, sincerely"There's one for men, too!""Oh...that makes sense.While Todoroki and Uraraka were busy trying out more outfits, Mina and Midoriya found themselves in a familiar place- the Zen Arcade, a bastion of video games that had a stunning selection that reached every genre."So, you want to start off with me kicking your butt in DDR or do you want to get cocky first, Izuku?" Mina teased her boyfriend."I don't think we want to get all sweaty before we start any other game we decide to play, so ending on DDR looks like the best option."Man, you don't know how many jokes I want to make out of you using "getting sweaty" and "playing games" I almost feel bad that you can walk into them."Midoriya chuckled "Okay, you got me there but you can't say that I'm not right about what I said."Mina tilted her "True, having my clothes stick to me while trying to do anything else sounds like the grossest thing ever." she shuddered once she finished the sentence "How about a fighting game? When it comes to stuff like that, you're like an expert.""You know how to play them?""Not that well but Kiri gave me some pointers. It'll be like the opposite of us in dancing! I'm the student while you're the master!""Yeah, but I'm used to playing them on console so that the arcade controls might mess me up big time.""That's the thing about dancing, Izuku- no matter where you dance, you know what to do. I'm not gonna get blindsided by a different controller or anything. But you're probably gonna get a hang of it real quick once you know which buttons compare to the ones on the controller. let's dump our quarters in the new Street Fighter!"Once the two selected their characters they spent the entirety of the first round looking at the on-screen controls to find out what do to. They wasted so much time that it ended up a draw. Mina was busy fumbling with the controls while Midoriya spent so much time trying to correlate the buttons on the arcade cabinet to what he was used to at home.The second round consisted of Mina just button mashing while Midoriya to position his hands in a way that reminded him of the claw grip he used on his home console. Mina won the second round handedly by just laying low and spamming the low kicks. Mina was amazed to see just how aggravated Midoriya got as she beat him by just mashing buttons. She never seen such a frustrated scowl from him before and she found it hilarious.He endured years of bullying and countless hours of (figurative) bone breaking training and (literal) bone breaking moves from his newly acquired quirk....and he ends up losing his temper over a fighting game. This was the Most Izuku Midoriya thing she had ever seen.Unfortunately, by the time they went into the third round, Midoriya had figured out how to play in this format of play and had a perfect match against her. The fourth round was even worse! She didn't even move from her spot when Midoriya did a seemingly endless combo on her."Okay, I really hate losing but the way you juggled me in the air was pretty sweet.""Yeah...I'm pretty good at playing as Cody…""Pretty good? Izuku, I didn't move in those last two rounds. You're catching up when it comes do dancing but I need way more practice for fighting games!""Well, the arcade cabinets didn't help. I was a sitting duck for the first two rounds and I'm good at those games. You did the best you could…""Looks like I'm gonna need more help than just Kiri's tips that he gave me a while back. Why don't you "pull a Mina" and teach me how to be better at fighting games?""Did you just invent a phrase for yourself?""Yeah, I'm gonna try to make it a thing. But if you really want to think of new catchphrases, why don't we play one of that alien shooter game so we could get you in a mood to think of one""Are you talking about that light gun game?""Are those the ones that use those fake guns and not controllers?""Yeah, I never really played any of them since there were never any hero themes ones.""I never played any of them either so we're about even in skill. Come on, let's try one out! I wanna see how good of a shot I am!"Both Midoriya and Mina took to the game quite easily. Even though it was a game centered on working on your partner, there was a count on the end of each stage that compares how many aliens you killed to your partner. Once they realized that was a thing, they strived to do better than the other. Whenever one was down, the other the opportunity to revive their partner just so they could score some extra kills (a sentiment that earned Izuku several light shoulder punches from his girlfriend)In the end, Izuku won out since Mina kept trying to do "action rolls" in real life instead of using the dodge function in game."Alright, you might have gotten lucky with the last two games we played but we're doing DDR next!"Midoriya shot his girlfriend a rare cocky smirk, the high of beating her twice had gotten to him "You're on!""I really did not expect to buy five bags of clothes today…" Uraraka whined as she sat on a bench, the weight of all her bags took a toll on her.""What could I have done? You looked great in everything you tried on!" Todoroki tersely said as he sat down next to her. "Five bags of clothing isn't that bad.""Are you talking about the five bags of clothing you bought for me or the five bags of clothing you bought for yourself?""...Both. I needed more clothes too. My room was pretty empty.""Yeah, I feel you. But I'm pretty sure my reason for why I barely have any clothes is much different than your reason."Todoroki shrugged "Well both of our problems are solved now so it's fine.""I'm not sure why we bought swimsuits though. Swimsuit season isn't for another couple of months!"Todoroki scratched the back of his head "Well...we had to make sure that they fit us…"Uraraka felt herself heat up at looking back at checking each other's bathing suits out "Yeah, better safe than sorry right?""Yup...Do you think Deku and Mina will laugh once they see the amount of stuff we bought?""I think they would be a bit confused-" Todoroki's eyes widened a bit as his gaze shot off into the distance "...Or they could look like they just fought a dozen villains.""Uh, is that like a common saying in the Todoroki household? Because you kinda lost me there."Todoroki pointed to their friends "No, I mean look at them. They look like they've been through a lot."Uraraka's face scrunched in confusion as she took in the sight of Midoriya and Mina limping towards them "What on earth happened to you?""Dance...Competition" Midoriya managed to say between breaths"You guys ended up like this after some DDR?" Uraraka barked"Neither of us wanted to lose…" Mina huffed"Wow...Did you guys score a lot of points?" Todoroki asked "I remember seeing you getting the top school when we went to Kiyashi Ward, Ashido.""...We actually both didn't manage to get a bronze rank" Midoriya admitted"How is that possible? We saw both you and Ashido dance in the Cultural festival?""Turns out that going freestyle doesn't net you any points...and Me and Izu went hard on freestyling."Uraraka giggled "Looks like you two just pulled a Mina!"Midoriya blinked as what Uraraka had just said registered in his mind. His girlfriend saw the wide grin creep on his face."Don't you freakin' dare, Izuku!"
