Namjoon was still lying flat on his stomach on his bed trying to get up, but couldn't shake off his laziness. But it's fine, it's a weekend anyway.Well maybe not for him because his brother, Yoongi, barged in shouting as if the house was on fire to wake him up."It's past noon, how long will it take for you to drag ass to the breakfast table?" Suga shouted at the lazing boy and snatched his duvet, "Seriously, if you were my kid I would have thrown you out of my house."Taking the blanket, he left his room after giving him one last glare.Namjoon lives with his three brothers, Yoongi, Taehyung, and Jimin.They are living in Manhattan for three years now, while their parents live in Seoul. They visit their parents every now and then in the holidays and festivals.No longer occupied with his thoughts, he finally woke up and made him bed.After freshening up, he headed for the breakfast table, where Taehyung, his younger brother, was sitting busy on his cell phone. Namjoon poured himself some muesli and milk. Later everyone joined him."Eat quickly, we are going out for a movie and you fools get your lazy asses ready. Instead of dozing off on the couch all day long, we'll go out for a movie and will eat dinner afterwards," Yoongi declared while sipping his coffee.Taehyung looked at the elder with a pleading eyes, "I am still in my pajamas, why can't we watch the movie here and order and order some Chinese food?"Yoongiwas having none today, "You have 20 minutes to get ready, or I'll be dragging you out in your pajama bottoms. End of Discussion.""I hate him" Namjoon whispered while putting his bowl in the sink."You said something?" Yoongi scowled at him."I said it's a bright sunny day, I can't wait to get roasted crisp."Jimin snickered at them while eating his bowl of cereals.As I said, it was just another day in Kim's house.

It was past midnight. And Jin still was unable to get any sleep.He was standing outside his home, the one where he grew up with his brothers and had a lots of good and bad memories.He kept on staring at the address plate, thinking about how starting from tomorrow his life is going to be changed completely.He is living with his brothers Hobi and Jungkook at their grandparents' home for over a decade now... Hobi was his stepbrother and Jungkook was his half-brother.Jin was only 2 years old when his parents got separated and his father got married again to another woman who already had a 1-year-old kid (Hobi) and after a year Jungkook was born.After graduating from school and taking some time off of studies, he decided that it's time to leave. He had applied to some universities in the United States and got selected in few of them.The Jung brothers were leaving for New York City to fulfill their dreams. And to start anew. It was hard to convince Jungkook, he was still a baby and didn't want to leave home, but Jin promised that they will visit every three months.Hoseok, on the other hand was thrilled with the idea, although he still has to receive his acceptance letter, but he was positive that he will get in.Finally, after some time, he decided to go to bed and get some sleep. After all, they have an early morning flight to New York.He is really looking forward to New York because there is someone he has to face who he has been looking for his whole life.

*Next morning*
After hours of long journey, the three brothers landed safely at the John F. Kennedy International Airport. They checked out of the and boarded a cab to their new place.
Their father has bought a house for them in Manhattan.Jin's dad is a businessman and his stepmom is a well-established lawyer.Jin's birth mother never contacted him after the divorce. But his stepmother always loved him as much as Hobi and she was the one who convinced his father to let the kids move on in their life and study abroad.For Hobi, Jin is his best friend, although their personalities clashed a lot. Hobi is a very lively person, he mix-up with everyone and is very social and a flirt.Jungkook, the youngest one, was still growing up, He is only 16 and is very shy in nature. Jin always protected and pampered him.After a long drive from the airport, they reached their neighborhood. It was a perfect place to live... Neither crowded nor deserted. It was spacious and people friendly place.The cab stopped in front of a series of beautiful white houses. The trio came out of the cab and looked at their new house."Here we are!!!! Finally! Welcome to the new phase of our life brothers" Hobi was chirping with excitement."I hope our neighbors won't bother us. I don't like people barging in all the time," Jungkook said while carrying his suitcase and bag pack.Meanwhile, Jin was silent and registering his surroundings. Their house was attached with another white house with a beautiful green lawn.Suddenly, a young boy came out of it with a donut box in his hands and a bright smile plastered on his face."Hey neighbors, I am Jimin, welcome to Manhattan. I am your new neighbor." the young boy came and greeted them with happiness.He handed the donut box to Jungkook and hugged him while patting his back.Jungkook was taken aback by the stranger's sudden action. While Hobi smiled looking at them."H-Hello, I a-am Jungkook. Nice to meet you too."Jimin then looked at Hobi, "hey, I live with my brothers. They will be thrilled to meet you.""I am sure they will be, I am Hobi and he," he pointed out at Jin's direction, "is Jin our eldest brother"Jimin waved at Jin who just ignored him and picked up his luggage and left.Hobi sighed at his brother's rudeness, "I am sorry, actually we had a long day and are a little tired. He must be feeling jet lag. I am really sorry that we have to cut this short. How about we hang out some other time?"Jimin smiled at him, "Yeah sure. after all, we are going to be neighbors for awhile."They bid each other goodbyes."I don't know what am I going to do with him. He is so cold with people.""Don't worry, he will mingle up in no time. It's a new place, we all need some time to adjust."Hobi smiled at Jungkook, "how come you are talking like a big boy while that giant baby is giving people bull's eye."Jungkook shrugged, "grandma's effect!"They both burst into laughter and headed for their new home.Jin went straight to his room on the upper floor hence claiming it. While Hobi and Jungkook got the rooms on the ground floor.His room was cozy, had a big balcony, and a great back view.He unpacked and took a long shower. After changing into a fresh pairs of pajamas, he headed for the terrace to get some fresh air.

"Yes mom, everyone is fine. Yeah. Really? That' great, congrats dad on my behalf." Namjoon was busy on the call with his mom."Jimin is a big baby, mom. He keeps feeding his classmates with a loads of food he makes every morning. I think we are going to go bankrupt soon if he don't stop feeding free loaders."

Namjoon was roaming around with his head up high, too busy on the call to register his surroundings.Suddenly he bumped into something or rather someone and fell straight on the floor. Realizing, that it was not the floor he hit, but a bare man's back.The reaction of Namjoon was terrifying as if he has seen a ghost. He was still lying on the guy.It was Jin. He was surprised as well. When he realized that the guy above him has no intention to get up he got angry and annoyed that he simply threw Namjoon off of him, groaning.Finally he stood up and looked down at Namjoon, "watch it."The younger stood up hastily, "I'm sorry. I was on call.""Whatever."And with that he left the roof, shutting the door behind him with a blow.Namjoon was still registering what just happened. He had no idea who this guy was and what the hell was he doing on his terrace. Then looked at his phone, his mother was still on the other side. He came to his senses and took the call."Sorry mom, you were saying?"After a good 30 minutes of talking to his mother he left too.When he walked into the hall he was surprised to hear the chattering. Taehyung, Jimin, and Yoongi were in the kitchen preparing something while arguing about the sauces.

"What's going on? Why are you all in the kitchen together? Is there something special that I am forgetting?" Namjoon asked his brothers while picking up an apple.Yoongi groaned, "Ask Jimin. He is the one who is making us do all of this.""What's up, Jimin? Is there something special today? Just be careful with those knives."The baby of the group smiled cheekily at Namjoon, "hyung, don't you know that we got new neighbors, who just moved in next door," Jimin whiped his hands on his apron and went to check the scones in the oven, "Three guys, probably siblings, have shifted next door. And I am preparing fresh scones and a cheesecake as a housewarming gift. Isn't it cool and friendly?" He chirped when he saw the scones came out fine."Jimin, why are you tiring yourself for no reason. Also, you cannot just barge into anyone's house on their first day in the city. Take some rest, you must be tired after the dance session." Namjoon wiped the sweat off of his brother's forehead."Yes chim, Namjoon is right. Give them some time to adjust, do not scare them away on their first day in Manhattan." Tae said while putting more scones in the microwave."Hey everyone, just chill... I have already talked with them in the evening and gave them freshly made donuts. They are cool people, except for the eldest one, he didn't say hello to me," he pouted like a baby, "he scared me a little."Namjoon's eyes widen, "Wait a minute! Are those guys the one who will be sharing the terrace with us? The very next door neighbors? And one of them have really broad shoulders?"Jimin smiled brightly, "yes! You know them?The elder gulped a little too hard, "Oh god, I accidentally fell on him at the terrace just now. He was really pissed off and very salty about it.""Oh god, yoh big blind baby. You just asked for troubles from the broad shoulders douche guy." Tae deadpans to which Namjoon made faces, "are you trying to get us murdered?""Shut up, I am not blind, you are. Look at the cheesecake burning in the oven."Everyone looked at the smokes coming out of the microwave and ran towards it.."Damn you Taehyung! I told you to keep an eye on the cake," Yoongi was annoyed."I was until this big blind baby came and distracted me.""What the hell. How can it be my fa—"A sob cut him off and Kim brothers panicked. Jimin was crying sitting on the counter top while picking on his fresh scones."OMG Jim! What happened?" Namjoon panicked."The c—cheesecake is r–ruined and we d–don't have any i–ingredients left to bake it a–again," he hiccups.Yoongi was done with his brother's shit, "stop crying like a three year old, nobody is dying here. And we still have those scones here. You can just give them that. ""NO!" Jimin frowned, "giving only one snack is rude. That's not how mom raised us."Yoongi was about to yell again when he saw Tae sneaking out of the kitchen, "you asshat, where do you think you are going?""To my room. I have homework," he looked at his watch, "plus Valeria is going to facetime me in fifteen minutes.""You think am a fool? I know school are due in 3 weeks. Now, pick up your jacket and go buy a cheesecake from the bakery.""But—""Take blind bo– I mean Namjoon with you."Namjoon frowned, "why me?""Because I said so. Now move! I don't have whole day. Damn I can't believe I am raising you dipshits in this foreign country for last three years," he threw his apron on Jimin and left.Jimin whispered to his brother, "should we ask him to give us the money to buy the stuff?""And get stabbed repeatedly by a butter knife? No thanks. I'll exchange mortgage Namjoon instead.""Wow, you are fiery today. Did you eat poop in the lunch?" Namjoon fired back."Nope cuz none was left since you ate all of it already."Before Namjoon could come up with another disgusting comeback Jimin slapped a 20 dollar bill on the counter, "here. Now you all can stop trying to kill each other and buy me some cake."Taehyung picked up the money, "I am fine going by myself. I don't want him to knock off the centre piece of the bakery like last time. That was embarrassing as well as expensive for a 7 dollar pastry."Namjoon flipped him off and he left.Soon they were standing at front door of their neighbor's house. Jimin rang the bell and they heard someone rushing towards the door.When the door opened, Yoongi went silent seeing a heart shape smile, almost blinding his senses.

After a few seconds, a guy opened the door,with a beautiful smile... And greeted them
"Hey Jimin, nice to see you again." The man with the most beautiful smile greeted Jimin."Hey Hobi, I hope we are not disturbing you?" Jimin replied, literally poking his head inside the house.Hobi laughed at him, "Not at all. Please come inside."The Kim's brothers followed Hoseok
Jungkook was watching something on the TV and didn't notice the presence of some company in his house
"Hobi hyung, he is Yoongi, my elder brother and he, *pointing at Tae* is my younger brother." Jimin introduced them.Hobi shamelessly checked out Yoongi making him uncomfortable, "Well, hello there," Hobi winked at Yoongi "Umm. Hello?" Yoongi furrowed his eyes making Hobi chuckle at him.Meanwhile, Jungkook realized their presence. As he looked in the direction of the voices coming near him, his eyes dropped on Taehyung."This is Jungkook, my younger brother."Jungkook waved at them to which Jimin smiled at him and handed Hobi scones and cheesecake he prepared."I am so happy to have neighbors of our age group. Tae, he is Jungkook. Isn't he adorable?"Embarrassed by Jimin, Tae looked at Jungkook, "Hey, I am Taehyung and please don't mind Jimin. He has a tendency to embarrass anyone, anytime."Everyone burst out laughing. While, Jungkook blushed a little.Jimin punched his brother and scoffed, "Shut up Tae."Before Taehyung can come up with a sassy comeback his phone started ringing and he excused himself.Jungkook was watching him leave and Jimin poked him a little."Jungkook, do you want to play some video games or maybe go outside for a walk?""Actually, I have a good collection of video games. We can play here, if you don't mind.""Jimin, they must be tired, let them take some rest. It was a long day." Yoongi interrupted, ready to leave with Jimin. Hoseok smiled at them, "Not at all. Jimin, go ahead. It's still too early to go to bed."With that jimin and Jungkook left for the younger's room."So, would you like something to drink?" Hobi asked the elder."I won't mind."
Hobi took a quick leave and returned with a pack of beer cans. They settled on the couch and
talked about their families, school, and common interests.
"So which university have you applied to?""Actually I am waiting for my acceptance letter from Julliard." Hobi replied taking a sip from his beer.Yoongi's eyes widened, "I am also attending the same school, and I got my letter last week.""That's great. What's your major?""Photography and music. What about you?" "Music and Dancing. I hope I get the letter sooner.""Don't worry, we still have 15 days before the classes start. You'll receive the letter soon."
Hobi nodded with a hum.
"So, Hawtie tell me about your love life. Do you have any girlfriend? Or boyfriend."Putting his beer can on the glass table Suga smiled, "Not right now.""Good for me then." Hobi winked at him to which Yoongi rolled his eyes at his straightforwardness.
They talked for over an hour before Jimin and Jungkook appeared in the living room.
"Let's go Suga. I am sleepy now. And do you know that Jungkook will be attending our school." Jimin yawned."Yeah we can go together if you would like to." Jungkook offered him."Yeah sure."
Yoongi looked around.
"Jimin said that you are three brothers. Where is the other one?"Hobi chuckled, "Jin went out for some groceries and stuff.""He scares me a little." Jimin stated pouting.Jungkook laughed at his cute confession, "Jin hyung is a little-reserved. He needs some time to get used to it."Jimin nodded yawning for the third time now. Yoongi noticed his younger brother in a battle with his goodnight sleep so he called it a night, "I think we should leave now. It was nice to meet you guys. Let's catch up later with everyone."They agreed to it and then Yoongi left with Jimin."They seem nice. I hope we can get along," Hobi murmured while closing the front door."I hope so too."There was another knock on the door and both the brothers looked at each other. "What do you think? Jimin?"Jungkook laughed at Hoseok, "I'll get it."Fortunately it wasn't the cute little boy but his elder brother with takeout in his hand. "Here you go. Dinner kids." Jin handed over the Chinese takeout to Hobi."Hey, remember Jimin from the morning. He just left and he brought us some scones and cheesecake as a moving in gift.""Nice. But don't get too much involved with people here. I don't want my privacy to be invaded.""You are like an old woman. Nothing can excite you.""Yeah whatever. Jungkook you are fine right?" Jin asked looking at his younger brother."Yeah, just a little tired.""Okay, everyone, settle down on the dining table. Food is coming right up."

S: what is it? *he asked rubbing his eyes*Hobi: It's an acceptance letter from Julliard... I got in...JM: Wow Hobi... congrats am so happy for you...

Jungkook on the other side was looking around for something or someone...
JM: Good Morning Kookie!!! You have no idea how happy I am that we'll be attending the same school... Starting from next week...JK: I guess it will be fun!!! Hey, what about Taehyung? Where is he? *he coolly asked Jimin*Tae: I am right here Jungkook...
Jungkook froze as he saw Tae standing right behind him...

looked so good even after just coming right out from his bed... his messy brown locks seems so sexy to him...

Tae: Okay, settle on the chairs... I'll be back with the breakfast... make yourself comfortable...JK: Hey, I can help... I am pretty good in the kitchen... Tae: Umm... I can do it on my own... But if you want to help... I guess I can use a hand... Jimin, learn from him... He is so generous unlike you...JM: *chuckled at them* I'll be generous while eating then... Gotta go... I need a shower... Call me when breakfast is ready...

He is a nice person...TH: I know Jimin is very good at mingling up with people... But you should go around and meet new people... It's good to have some friends as you are going to live for a long time here...JK: oh... Okay, I'll try... Anyways school will be starting soon so, I guess I'll make some there...Tae *hummed and Started making pancakes*Tae: So Jungkook, are you dating someone? I mean do you have any girlfriend?

He took a glass of orange juice and gulps it down in one go... He noticed Jungkook and asked him...
J: Hey, where the two of you have been... I was looking for you...JK: Umm... We were at Jimin's place...J: why are you guys getting too close to each other... They are just our neighbors... You know I don't like getting attached to strangers...
Jungkook didn't respond... He was partly present there...
Jin snorted he did not want to upset Jungkook...
J: Jungkook, tell me what do you wanna eat... I'll make that for you... And cheer up buddy... This look doesn't suit you...
Jungkook smiled at Jin...

JK: it must be Hobi hyung, I'll go and see...
When he opened the door it was Jimin with a plate full of pancakes with maple syrup and a cute smile...
JM: Hey kookie you left without breakfast... So I bought it for you...JK: Thank you Jimin but you don't have to do that...
Jimin entered their house... And saw Jin shirtless... His mouth dropped looking at Jin's super toned body and abs... He was all sweaty...
JM: Jin hyung you are breathtaking... *Fanboy alert*

Jimin went near him and watched him closely... Jungkook laughed at how flattered Jimin was on Jin's body...
JM: Aww hyung you look so cool with all the workout sweat... You must be tired I'll make you some lemon juice... It's good for you...J: Umm... No thanks...JM: *pout* Too bad... Okay please, can I run with you in the morning or something.. or any exercise... Please hyung, please...JK: *laughing his heart out* What is with you Jimin? You are such a baby...
Jimin ignores his teasing and looked at Jin with puppy eyes...

J: okay don't make weird faces in front of me... I go for a run at 6 in the morning if you wanna join you can... That's the most I'll allow... Okay?Jimin becomes happy and hugged Jin tightly...JM: Thanks hyung... I love you... I'll come to 5:50 am to pick you up...

Next morning...Jin woke up at 5:15 AM and freshen up... Wore his workout Sando and track pants... exposing his perfect biceps and glowing milky skin... he wore his sports shoes... And headed out for running...When he opened his front door he spotted Jimin snoring on the floor beside the door with a lot of accessories in his hand... i.e., a hand towel, glucose water, energy drink and a hand fan...He couldn't believe that Jimin actually showed up this early in the morning while Jin completely forgot about him... he shook his head and called out Jimin to wake him up from his deep slumber... but no reaction... He couldn't believe that his daily schedule is screwed...He picked the kid up and took him inside the house and laid him on the couch, brought a blanket and covered him... he actually smiled at his cuteness... after that Jin headed out for his run...*9:23 AM*Jimin woke up to the sound of juicer, which was coming from the kitchen... He slowly opens his eyes and looked around and found a strange environment... Jimin yelled...JM: Hey Tae could you please keep it down for god's sake my head is aching...Hobi appeared in front of him with a KitKat smoothy...Hobi: Good Morning Sunshine... Here, drink it... You must be hungryJM: *shocked looking at Hobi* Morning Hobi... You are early today... What brought you here this early in the morning...Hobi laughed at Jimin's innocence...Hobi: look around Jimin-ah... You are at Jin's residence...Jimin slowly registered his surrounding...JM: OMG.... *he screamed* I slept... I freaking slept... when did that happen? I was waiting for Jin outside and then..... OMG, I dozed off... It was supposed to be a quick nap...Jimin started throwing his hands and legs in the air in disappointment... after good 10 minutes He looked up and saw Jin was standing with folded arms...Jungkook was laughing rolling on the floor holding his stomach... Hobi too was chuckling at him... Jimin felt embarrassed...JM: I am so sorry Jin... it was supposed to be a fun running session... but I slept... I am so stupid... please give me one more chance please Jin...J: Look, kid, If you are not habitually early riser then you don't have to come... It will gonna make you sick and screw up my daily schedule...JM: No Jin please I will sleep early... *he started pulling onto Jin's hand* Please Jin one last time...J: Alright! alright! let go of my hand now... 6 PM Tomorrow...JM: No, Please Jin last chance... Wait, what? I can what?J: See you in the morning... Go get some sleep now... or freshen up... whatever...Jimin started jumping with happiness...JM: Thank you Jin... You are the best... I'll go back now... Namjoon hyung would be worried about me...J: Who is Namjoon?JM: Oh... didn't I tell you? he is my elder brother... haven't you met him yet...
