Waking up with a splitting headache was the least of Can's problems. The ache in his body, the lack of his clothes, the unfamiliar room and the sleeping form next to him were all much bigger problems then the headache he was currently suffering. Tacking a peek at the person next to him Can recoiled, of all the people he could have gotten drunk and slept with (well he assumes they slept together) Tin was the last person he would have chosen. In the three years that Ae and Pete had been dating Can had only ever heard bad things about Tin. But thanks to Tin's busy schedule he was saved from having to deal with the man. That was until Ae and Pete got engaged and Tin went out of his way to make it to the engagement party, it was expected as Tin was to be Pete's best man while ChaAim was a grooms-maid. Just before the rest of the guests had arrived Tin was introduced to Pond, Ae's best man and Can, Ae's groomsman and within twenty minutes of Pond meeting Tin he told Ae in front of the guests that had arrived that under no circumstances would he continue as his best man if Tin continued as Pete's. That was how Can found himself standing in as best man while Pond accompanied ChaAim as a groomsman. Can seemed to be able to handle Tin a bit better then Pond had but by the end of the night Can was pushed well past his limits and his love for Ae and Pete couldn't still his fist as it sailed through the air cracking him across the jaw. It left Tin with a split lip and a massive anger towards the slightly shorter guy. Two weeks later Can had gone out of his way to meet with Tin to apologies for not keeping his anger in check (as a favour to Pete), Tin had begrudgingly accepted Can's apology (as a favour to Pete). Tin hadn't expected to find the pouting bashful guy cute, but a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach had been the reason he had grabbed a hold of Can's wrist when he tried to leave and invite him to join him for dinner. Not wanting to create another problem Can accepted and silently prayed that he would be able to afford whatever high class place Tin picked. To Can's surprise Tin had taken them to a hotpot place that had been a short drive from the hotel Tin was staying at (Medthanan owned). Over food and beer Can had learnt that when Tin wanted to be he could be quite charming and the reason Ae didn't seem to like Tin was that apparently when he and Pete had started dating Tin had tried to break them up. To Tin's surprise Can had given him a chance to explain why he would try to break up two people who were perfect for each other and through further conversation Tin had learnt that Can was loyal and honest. Two things that Tin desperately wanted in his life but found that so few people were. By the time they had finished and were leaving the restaurant they had formed a tentative friendship that was tested over the months leading up to Ae and Pete's wedding with fights over a few things, one had been what the joint bucks party should be. It ended up being a drinking party like Can suggested with all of the friends of both grooms invited, but it was held on a private yacht like Tin wanted. Can had found that no matter how he tried he couldn't get away from Tin which Can was convinced was part of his plan in having it on the stupid boat. Another fight had been because instead of letting Can hire a suite like he planned because he couldn't afford to buy one and he didn't want to buy one because he wouldn't use it again any time soon Tin had paid for it behind Can's back. This was how Tin learned that Can didn't like Tin using his money to impress him and only saw it was Tin shoving it in his face. Tin found himself more and more impressed by Can but seemed to just be affirming Can's bad opinion of him, apologizing for over stepping his bound Tin agreed to let Can enter a payment plan to pay Tin back. By the day of the wedding Can was looking forward to it being over only so that he could go back to not really seeing Tin anymore.... if at all. The ceremony had been lovely with both Ae and Pete having written their own vows and Ae's niece Yim had presenting the rings and the boys were pronounced as husbands before all their friends and family. The reception had been a mix of hilariously funny, tearjerkingly sweet and everything in-between thanks to all the speeches and well wishes. Over all it had been a great evening and Can had drank what seemed like his weight in alcohol as he had a good time and danced with everyone despite his inability to dance. Which is how Can found himself naked in Tin's bed panicking as he contemplated if he should wake Tin up and demand some answers or if he should make a run for it and pretend like it never happened. That choice was taken from him when someone begun to bang loudly at the door waking Tin just in time to hear a very angry voice demanding he open the door. Tin sleepily rose out of bed, slipped into a dressing gown and head to the door while Can locked himself in the bathroom. When Tin opened the door it was to a purple faced Ae and a concerned looking Pete "good morning Mr and Mr Intouch, how are the happy couple this morning?""I don't know, maybe I should ask Mr and Mr Medthanan" Ae snapped handing over a marriage certificate to Tin "the wedding celebrant asked us to pass that on to you when she dropped ours off this morning". Looking at the paperwork it seemed that in their drunken states last night he and Can had gotten the Celebrant that had officiated Ae and Pete's wedding to also marry them. "I knew you and Can had become friend but I didn't think it was so serious" Pete said looking at the papers in Tin's hand with an amused smile that annoyed Tin."I'm glad you find Can and I getting married to be so amusing" Ae thought it was odd that Tin had raised his voice so much when there was no anger in his tone until he saw Can stomp out of the bathroom in his suit from yesterday. "We did fucking what?" Can yelled as he stomped over and snatched the papers out of Tin's hand. Ae watched as Can seemed to be looking over the small stack of documents "is there something going on between you two?" "Other than the fact we are apparently married, no" Tin said with little interest to Ae before turning to Can "there is not point in ripping them up, these are just our copies. The official documents will be filed with the government marriage register" At Tin's words Can dropped to the ground seemingly on the verge of tears "how do we get out of this?" "Divorce" Tin said with a shrug. "I can't get a divorce, no one in my family has ever been divorced and I'm not going to be the first" Can never lifted his eyes from the papers in his trembling hands even when tears started hitting the pages "I'm sorry Tin but you are going to have to die, it's the only way I can get out of this with my virtue intact" "He is joking isn't he" Tin asked Ae and Pete who shrugged as Pete crouched down next to Can and pulled him into a hug. "What about an annulment?" Ae suggested and Can let out a large wail. "We have already slept together" Can cried, Ae and Pete immediately looked at Tin for confirmation who shrugged his uncertainty. "Why don't you two give it a try?" Pete said softly still hugging Can."What?" the other three said in unison. "I mean while we try to think of a non-divorce way to fix this you two could try living together as a couple, go on date, get to really know each other" Pete said locking eyes with Tin like he knew something the rest of them didn't. "I'm barely in Thailand and Can has a life here, I can't expect him to pick everything up and get dragged around the world for a pretend marriage" Tin said though there was something uncertain in his tone. "You told me you only didn't stick around because you didn't have anything to stick around for. Well a husband would be a very good reason to stick around" Pete said raising up and bringing Can with him now that the boy had stopped crying. Tin let out a huff as he crossed his arms "fine, I will give this a go if it's what you want Cantaloupe" "Cantaloupe?" Ae and Pete said in unison. Looking between the new husbands Tin raised a brow "that's his name" Two weeks had passed of Can and Tin living together is relative harmony, they had tried to get in contact with the celebrant but didn't have any luck no matter how many message and emails Tin sent. They had started falling into a routine of Tin making breakfast for them before they both went off to work and Can would make them dinner when he got home. Tin found himself with more energy than he had before now that Can was making him nutritionally balanced food. It was one of the upside Tin had found to having a husband that was a personal trainer, right after the amazing body he got to watch doing house hold chores and taking showers and sleeping next to. If only he had been allowed to touch said body to his hearts content, but it had taken a little over a month for Can to let Tin casually touch him. As the days progressed Tin's found a new favorite past time to be movie night, he always let Can pick a movie because he always picked horror movies and while he was fine during the movie with only the slightest jump at the scares afterwards his mind became over active. Can became suspicious of every shadow and listened with far more concentration at every sound, he insisted on turning on every light as he got ready for bed and Tin would have to go around turning them off and make sure every door was closed. But that was when Tin's favorite part would come in because the moment he climbed into bed Can would wrap around him and was only content to fall asleep once Tin had reassuring arms around him. It was because of one of these nights that they first slept together, it had been a particularly creepy movie and even Tin had gotten chills but that night Can had been fidgety on top of clingy. Tin had tried to ignore the rubbing and grinding but his own over active mind made him hard and he had to speak up "Can I need you to loosen your hold a little""Nope not happening, as my husband you have to protect me" Can pressed himself closer to emphasize his point. Tin rolled on top of Can pinning him to the mattress "if you don't back off a little it's not the monsters out there that will get you" Tin let his hips drop onto Can's so that his husband could feel the effect he had on him. Feeling Tin's hard length pressed against him a wave of lust rushed through him, knocking Tin's arms out Can felt Tin's weight crash down on him. Just as quickly as that had happened Can's arms were around Tin holding him in place as he crushed their lips together devouring Tin in desperation as he thrust up against Tin. After that night their sex life became quite an active part of their marriage and Tin was determined to see how many surfaces in their apartment he could have Can on, apparently the answer had been all of them. Once Ae and Pete were back from their honeymoon they had decided to pay Tin and Can a surprise visit, just as Pete was about to knock they heard a strange yell coming from inside. Grabbing the door handle they found it unlocked and without a second thought they burst in to find Tin pressing Can against the kitchen bench licking his cheek as laughter floated through the air. "What is going on here?" Ae yelled making the boys freeze. When Tin stepped away from Can they could see that he had pink, green and blue smudges on his face and when Can turned around he had red, green and yellow smudges "Ae, Pete how was the honeymoon?" Can called running over to give them a hug "we're making cupcakes!"Tin smiled softly (Pete hadn't known Tin could do that) as he waked over with a warm was cloth to get the icing off Can's face "you two should have called we would have meet you somewhere for lunch"Ae and Pete watched stunned as Tin lovingly wiped at Can's messy face who just smiled a dopey grin up at Tin "so things are working out for you two then?" Pete said as Ae was still trying to understand what he was looking at. "Once Tin learnt that I was the man of the house everything has been smooth sailing" Tin rolled his eyes at Can's cheerful words but hugged in behind him all the same "so are we going to get lunch? I want to hear all about your trip" It was four months into their marriage that the celebrant finally returned Tin's call and by the end of it Tin found himself wishing she hadn't. He didn't know if he could live without Can anymore, it had been such a short time but Tin had grown completely attached to having Can wandering around the apartment, bringing him tea when he was trying to finish his work at home, being warm when he cuddled up to him at night and reassuring when Tin was having doubts. So when the celebrant had informed Tin that they weren't really married Tin was crushed, she went on to explain that he and Can had gotten her to mock up the papers to play a prank on his family. That was why Tin was sitting at their dining table late that night with a glass of scotch and the papers in front of him contemplating if he should tell Can the truth or just send them in himself. So lost in thought he hadn't heard Can opening the bedroom door and sneak up behind him. Can's hands coming over his shoulders and resting linked on his chest was the first sign Tin got that Can was awake "looking for something?" Can asked curious as he hadn't seen the papers again since the day after Ae and Pete's wedding. Tin rolled his head back into Can's torso looking up into Can's upside down face "the celebrant finally called back" Tin said bringing his hand up to cover Can's, a subconscious action to keep Can where he was. "Really? What did she say?" Can didn't sound as excited as Tin had thought he would be and it lit a spark of hope that Tin was freighted to nurture before. "That it's not real" Tin watched as Can's face morphed with confusion, getting dizzy from holding his head back Tin pulled Can around until he was sitting sideways in Tin's lap "apparently we thought it would be funny to tell my parents that we got hitched and got the celebrant to mock up the papers" Tin pushed Can's hair out of his face as he processed the news. "Did you ask what makes them different to the real ones?" Can said shifting slightly to look at the documents spread out on the table. "Apparently nothing, these are the originals that would get sent to the registers office to make the marriage official" Tin watched as Can seemed to frown at the papers before standing up. "It's late, we should get to bed" Can grab Tin's hand and dragging him to their room. Tin woke up late to find the bed empty and the apartment quiet, shuffling out to the kitchen to get coffee Tin found a note from Can pinned to the fridge letting him know he would be back with lunch. It was on his way to the couch that Tin noticed that the papers were missing and so was Tin's wallet. Freaking out Tin called Can right away not really expecting an answer so when Can picked up after the second ring Tin had forgotten what he was going to say "hello, are you there Tin?" Can's voice carried through. "Yeah I am, where are you?" Tin asked trying not to sound suspicious. "I left a note on the fridge" Can said avoiding Tin's question and just as Tin was about to push for a real answer someone in the back ground called out 'thirty six' "I have to go, I shouldn't be out much longer" Can cut the call before Tin could respond. Waiting for Can Tin couldn't help but think that maybe Can was at the registers office with the papers, but the huge uncertainty lay with the fact that Can had seemed far to calm last night and it wasn't like Can not to face a matter head on. Tin couldn't help but hope that when Can came home it would be after he had made them official. Tin had been pacing in front of the TV when Can finally got back, arms weighed down with groceries he ignored Tin's mumbling as he made his way to the kitchen to put down the heavy bags "I thought I would make your favorite-" Tin cut Can off with his rambling but it hadn't made sense and Tin seemed to be getting more and more agitated by the second "what are you saying Tin?" "The papers" Tin yelled out making Can take a tentative step back "where are the papers?""Don't get mad" Can held his hands up in surrender "they will be back in six to ten business days""Cantaloupe did you do what I think you did?" Can couldn't tell how Tin was taking it but what he did know was that Tin was blocking the only exit out of the kitchen. "Now Tin I think you should calm down and think about it rationally" "You just registered our marriage and you want me to clam down and be rational about it?" Tin was stunned by Can's words as he watched the man he had grown so close to stand there like a bashful child. "I thought you were happy being married to me" Can's voice had been small and Tin couldn't help the way he got turned on by the pout evident in Can's voice.Tin took two steps forward and smirked at Can taking two steps back "you thought I was happy?" Tin kept his voice even as he continued to advance on Can walking him in to the counter on the far side of the kitchen. If Can had looked up he would have seen the smile on Tin's face "happy to be married to someone who affects me the way you do" Tin grabbed a hold of Can's hips pressing him roughly into the cabinets behind him "someone who makes me crave their touch so much that I could cum just thinking about them without needing to touch myself" the moment Can lifted his head Tin crushed their lips together sucking Can's bottom lip into his mouth to bite it. Letting it go Tin watched at it swelled at his rough treatment "you think I'm happy being married to the only person in the world that understand me and lets me be myself" Tin lifted Can so that he was sitting on the counter top eyes hooded with lust as he wrapped his legs around Tin leaning in to kiss him again when Tin spoke against his lips "happy being married to the only person I have ever loved" Can eyes snapped open as he pulled away from Tin's lips "you love me?" "With all my heart Cantaloupe" Even though they had only really registered two months ago they still considered the day that Ae and Pete stormed in with their marriage certificate as the day they were married, so now six months since that day Tin and Can sat in a private room in one of Bangkok's Michelin star restaurants waiting for their parents to arrive. Tin was fixing Can's hair (after he had run his hands through it while Can straddled his lap making out with him) when his mother and father were shown in, both boys stood to greet them when the door was open again and Can's parents were shown in. Can moved without thinking and was around the table hugging his parents while the Medthanan's looked on, Tin was the first to speak up "Mother, Father this is Cantaloupe" Can gave a wai before taking his turn. "Mum, Dad this is Tin" Tin offered a very respectful wai before offering everyone a seat. Tin and Can returned to their chairs as their parents kept shooting each other confused looks "well now that everyone is here I think we can get started" Tin pressed the service button and starters where brought in. Based on the way that Can's dad was looking at the food Tin got where his love of food came from. Can's mum lent towards Can "I thought you didn't like being call Cantaloupe anymore" though the question had been whispered in the silence of the room it was easily heard by all. "This is different" Can whispered back with just as much success at it being a private conversation. Not bothering with tact Tin's mother looked at Tin with an emotionless expression "please do not tell me you have not brought us here to tell us that you have started dating this boy" Can's mum seemed to prickle at Can being referred to as 'this boy' but before she could say anything Tin responded "Man, Can is not a boy he is a man and no nothing like that" Tin took a drink of the wine that had just been poured as Can squeezed his mum's hand. Tin waited until his mother had a mouthful of her wine before he continued "I have married this man" Tin was a little disappointed she hadn't spit her wine like he had hoped but he would settle on her chocking on it like she needed to with her words. "Sweetie is this true?" Can's mum asked ignoring the coughing and spluttering of Tin's mother. "Yes, I'm sorry we didn't tell you guys sooner but it just kind of happened and we wanted to make sure everything was right before we started telling people" Can's eyes were lock down at his hand linked with hers until she used her free hand under his chin to encourage him to lift his head "we do love each other and we are very happy" "That's all that matters" she pulled him into a hug as Can's dad got out of his chair and walked around to Tin who at seeing the man approach also got to his feet. With a warm smile he pulled his new son-in-law into a hug "welcome to the family Tin"
