Work Text
Ten’s legs hurt.
His dance troupe had been working nonstop for their upcoming showcase, and he was no exception, especially since he had been given one of the 3 solo performances that would be part of the show.
He had recently become used to coming home anywhere between 12 and 3 and really wouldn’t mind it that much if it didn’t take away from his time with Yukhei, his (wonderful, amazing, beautiful, talented, soft, cute, best-thing-to-ever-grace-this-earth) boyfriend.
Since Ten had increased the time he was at the studio lately, he had been forced (literally, Taemin had used a knife) to cut down the time spent with his boyfriend, which basically felt like a vital life force had been ripped out and he was slowly dying due to lack of exposure.
The only real time he got with Yukhei was at night; he would be too lazy to shower and just went straight into bed, Yukhei stirring just enough to grab Ten into his arms (or, if he was feeling like it, push himself into Ten’s arms) and sniffle a bit at the almost-fresh smell of sweat before falling back to sleep.
Except tonight he had had the pleasure of coming home early—around 11—and burst into the apartment in a whirlwind of energy even though he had just gotten out of practice.
“Honey I’m home!” Ten yelled, throwing off his shoes and jumping onto the couch.
Ten heard a door open and close and Yukhei’s head appears over the back of the couch, a wide smile on his face, wet hair dripping onto Ten’s face as well as his shirt.
“Babe!” Yukhei yelled, jumping over the back of the couch and landing on Ten, his towel falling off from around his shoulders and slamming Ten into the couch accidentally, knocking the wind out of him.
“Hey, hey,” Ten breathed out.
Yukhei’s smile softened and he let his arms go and plopped himself down on Ten’s chest, stealing the air out of his lungs again.
“Xuxi, off,” he huffs out, and Yukhei pushes himself up again.
“Sorry, I was just excited,” Yukhei presses his lips onto Ten’s forehead and stands up again.
“Come to bed after you finish showering, since you have a chance to do it now,” Yukhei teased, and Ten pouted, pushing himself up off the couch and walking into the bathroom.
He took a shower and ran into the bedroom, showering, towelling off his hair, and returning to his and Yukhei’s room and throwing on a pair of boxers before jumping onto their bed, squishing Yukhei onto the bed and pressing kisses all over his face.
“You,” Ten paused for a kiss, “are most beautiful person I’ve ever seen.”
Yukhei leaned his head up and kissed Ten back.
“You obviously haven’t looked in a mirror.”
Yukhei flips Ten onto his side, pushing himself down the bed and tucking his head under Ten’s chin.
“Now go to sleep,” Yukheir mumbles into Ten’s collarbone, “you’re tired.”
Ten hummed and wrapped his arms around Yukhei, tangling his fingers into his hair and closing his eyes, letting himself fall asleep to Yukhei drawing circles with his thumb on his waist and the comforting feeling of his boyfriend in his arms.
