Ugh, Halloween night. I don’t know why I have to attend. I actually had plans, but noooo Umbitch was like ‘everyone has to attend the festivities, Potter.’ Well, maybe just once, I wanted to spend the night mourning my parents. Bloody bitch. She decided to put together this farce of a masquerade inviting all her ministry friends, including Malfoy senior. I decided to go stag. I may have to attend this stupid thing, but nothing says I have to actually dance.I sip my drink and grimace; I fuckin hate pumpkin juice. Seriously why is this the choice of drink for young witches and wizards? Couldn’t they serve something like grape juice every once in a while?“Potter!” Malfoy had just walked over to me sneering.“Yes, ferret,” I repliedHe briefly scowled but regained the sneer as his housemates came up from behind.“Did no one want to go with the famous girl-who-lived” Pansy snarkedI snorted, “More like I didn’t want to go with people who only see me for some stupid title.”They seemed taken aback by my response. I don’t see why. Anyone who actually knew me would know I hated that title. Oh wait, very few people took the time to know me. Ah, well. At least it’s always fun to see the look on their faces.“Or maybe they just didn’t want to date a liar,” Malfoy sneeredI narrowed my eyes at him, at all of them. I set my glass down and stepped into his personal bubble. I allowed my magic to wrap around him like a snake as I whispered into his ear.“I may be many things Draco, but a liar isn’t one of them.” I walked through the crowd of shocked Slytherins and towards the dance floor where the twins were twirling each other violently. I think they were trying to see who could make the other throw up first.“Gred, Forge care to dance?” I asked“But of course milady,”“We would never.”“Turn down.”“The opportunity”“To dance with such a clever.”“And beautiful.”“Young woman.”“such as yourself.”I laughed at their twin speak. Grabbing both of their hands and spinning in a circle, clapping our hands. I was actually enjoying myself until I felt the whole hall shake.“The fuck was that” I yelled“Don’t know, but it seems like Dumbledor might” Fred saidI looked towards the old man, and while his face looked grim, his eyes gave him away. He was smug about whatever was going on. He raised his hands to gain everyone’s attention. The hall quieted.“Not to worry everyone, something dark is just testing the wards,” He said, and the hall shook. When the shaking had stopped, I ran to a window and looked out. What I saw caused my adrenaline to go into overdrive. I pulled out my coin for the DA and sent off a shock wave walking towards the middle of the floor.Moon, Pan, Gemini, Athena, and Ares surrounded me. I waited for everyone to surround us and cast a sonorous.“ LISTEN UP EVERYONE WHAT’S OUTSIDE RIGHT IS NOT SOMETHING THE WARDS CAN CURRENTLY HOLD UP AGAINST. THERE ARE GHOULS OUTSIDE. IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT THAT IS, IT’S BASICALLY AN ZOMBIE OR AN INFERIUS THAT WANT NOTHING MORE THAN TO EAT THE FLESH OFF YOUR BODIES AND KILL YOU. IF YOU LISTEN TO ME, WE MIGHT ACTUALLY HAVE A CHANCE AT GETTING OUT OF THIS.”  I negated the sonorous and was about to bark out orders when Umbitch and her crew began to come up“Up to your lies again, Miss potter it seems my lessons still-“I grabbed her by her shoulder, flipped her, and pressed my heel into her back. I could feel the wands aimed towards me and the DA’s aimed towards the ministry personnel.“Listen up Umbitch, I don’t have time for your shit right now. I need to get my group together, find a way to contact my cousin, and try to keep the fucking ghouls from eating everyone on site.” I snarled.I released her and looked towards the ministry than Dumbledore. This was both of their faults. If they had just left things alone. I inhaled deeply and shouted at both of them.“IF YOU IDIOTS HAD JUST LEFT THE BLOODY WARDS ALONE IN THE FIRST PLACE THAN WE WOULDN’T BE IN THIS SITUATION. AND IF YOU HAD LET ME KEEP MY WEAPONS AND LET ME DO MY FUCKING JOB THAN I WOULDN’T HAVE RESORTED TO THIS.”I used my wand to slice the back of my hand, letting my blood drip onto the castle stones.
“As heir to Gryffindor by blood and Slytherin by conquest, I claim the castle as is my right. Lady Hogwarts, protect the children within your halls, release the knights and open the doors to the armory tonight we go to war.”
I hear a hum of approval and felt the wards shift to my control. I winced in pain and with the knowledge that I only had a few minutes. The walls shifted, opening into the armory; the great hall doors slammed open, revealing a staircase straight to a bunker.“Moon, give my cousin a call see how long it will take the organization to get here; Gemini organize anyone under the age of fourteen and anyone who doesn't want to fight. Take them to the bunker. Athena analyze anyone who isn’t part of the DA and find out what weapon would best suit them. Ares come up with a battle plan that will defend the castle long enough for backup to get here. Moon, how long until that backup?” I demanded.“Your cousin said that it would be a couple of hours. The mansion is currently under attack from another set of invaders,” Luna said“Shit, change in tactics than Ares get this place set up to be a formidable force work with the elves. Set up traps to take out a fucking troll. Athena, anyone who you can’t trust or know for a fact isn’t up for this, send them to the bunker, that includes the teachers. Gemini work with Pan, professor sprout, Snape, and healer Pomona to develop potions and healing stock for any possible wounded.” I said“Miss Potter, what do you want the rest of us to do,” Professor Flitwick asked, holding what appeared to be a battle ax. He was backed by a set of Aurors.“Get ready to fight and fight like your life depended on it. You wouldn’t happen to know what the headmaster did with the sword of Gryffindor?” I askedNo sooner had I said that than I heard a trill and saw Fawkes fly over with the sword in his talons. He flew towards me with the sword, and I grabbed it feeling my clothes shift into battle armor. The hall shook again, and this time the wards fell.“Everyone ready to fight follow me now; the wards are down. Gemini, hurry up and get the noncombatants in the bunker with our defenders. Everyone this is do or die pray to whomever, and whatever you believe in, cause I’m not gonna lie, we may die but not before taking out as many of these undead bastards as possible. Now, follow me.” I spoke as I walked towards the castle entrance and charged onto the battlefield.I heard battle cries from all over. Heard the tear of undead flesh, the splatter of limbs, guts, and blood. It was exhilarating, Yet I kept my focus destroying ghoul after ghoul with my blade, watched as each body disintegrated from the basilisk venom. After what felt like an eternity, there seemed to be no break in these ghouls. Then I heard a madd cackle and looked up to see Bellatrix Lestrange. So she was the one who brought these ghouls. It would appear that Voldemort has joined forces with whoever the fuck is creating all these fake vampires.“Potter, if we make it out of this alive, I’ll tell you who's been making these vampires,” I startled at the sound of Malfoy's voice. I looked towards him in shock“Look, even my family knows not to fuck with the Hellsing organization, and the Dark Lord has obviously fucked up.” He explained“Especially if he’s working with Nazi vampires.”“How did you—”“My cousin may be in denial, but my grandfather at called the crimsonfucker for no reason ya know.”“Your grandfather?” Draco paled at the thought of Persephone being related to such a monster.“Yep, any ways think you can handle the rest of these ghouls I gotta go take care of miss fake over there,” I said as I lept into the air blasting a few ghouls with a Bombarda.“Aw does wittle potty want to play,” Bellatrix taunted.“I don’t know does Batty Bella want her head chopped off,” I said, aiming for her head but got ghoul instead. She seemed pissed but backed away and summoned more ghouls towards her. I could feel my vein twitching. Now I had even more shit to deal with. Or I would have if bullets didn’t come raining down, destroying the ghouls.I smirked at Bellatrix and would have advanced towards her if it weren’t for my grandfather stopping me.“Now now, witch girl, what have I told you about going in for the kill too soon.”“That it’s like a fine wine and needs time to ferment in fear,” I saidHe grinned wide and ruffled my hair.“Look at you all covered in blood. My little granddaughter is growing up so quick.”I snorted“Says the troll.”“Now now I’m a fuck mothering vampire-““And you killed a lot of people to get that title to trust me, we know,” I snarked.“That’s my girl, now then, I believe it's time you cut loose.”“You mean I can take the bracelet off?” I asked“But of course, have fun witch girl.”Oh, I would, but Bellatrix wouldn’t.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

“Aw, does wittle baby potter want to play with me?” Bellatrix cooed“Oh I want to play alright. I can promise you’re not going to have any fun though,” I smirked darkly as the shadows began to coalesce around me, waiting for my command.Bellatrix didn’t waste any time in coming after me. She was pretty fast, but I was faster. I snatched her by the arm and threw her at the whomping willow. It snatched her up and threw her around its branches before sending her to the forbidden forest. I ran after her into a clearing and smirked.“You know I was surprised a Slytherin would go for such a Gryffindor attack. Has that chip in your neck affected you that much, or have you always been that way?”She snarled at me, “Shut up you filthy half-breed, Crucio.”The spell hit me and rolled through my system. I smirked. Since awakening my vampiric blood, spells seem to affect me differently.“Heh tickles. Tell me something, Bellatrix-“ I said, walking towards her“Whose the real filth. Someone who allowed Nazis to mutilate their humanity and change them into a freak of nature. Or someone who was born this way.” Yes, I quoted Gaga, but that woman is a BOSS, and Bellatrix, well, she’s just an insane little bitch.“You won’t be so high and mighty when I break every bone in your body and drag you to my lord.” She retortedI grasped my stomach with my arms and began to below out in mad laughter. She went to attack me, but I let my shadows throw her back. I allowed them to tighten and squeeze her just until she was gasping for air.“What’s the matter Bellatrix? Aren’t you going to break me? Surely you can escape from a couple of shadows. You’re a pureblood witch, aren’t you? One who’s become a vampire come on now, this isn’t even a challenge call up your magic, your familiars, your ghouls, fight me!” I commanded“Y-you monster!” She screamed.“You know that’s funny considering an egotistical blonde asshole called my grandfather the same thing ya know he turned him into dog food. I don’t have any dogs yet, but I do have someone who might want to turn you into fertilizer.” I said as I walked towards Hogwarts, my shadows dragging her behind me.I saw the carnage of the battlefield. Ghoul parts spread everywhere. I had yet to see any that looked familiar; my grandfather slid up behind me.“Not bad for your first fight, witch girl. There were some casualties but no fatal ones. You Cousin would be proud.” He said with a hint of pride in his voice.“Yeah, well, if I’m going to take over the organization when cousin Integra passes, I gotta learn how to command people. I just wish it hadn’t happened this way,” I said.“As do I, but you held your own, and for that, I’m proud. Why haven’t you killed that piece of dog shit yet?”“One, I don’t have dogs, and two, Pan needs some kind of closure,” I ticked off on my hands“Aw yes, the green mage.” Maybe I should introduce him to Richar‘Don’t you fucking dare’ Persephone sent to her grandfather, making him cackle.“Yeah, I’m going to let him decide what to do with her. Sides, I already got what info I needed from her shadow.”“It’s very rare for one of our kind to have such control over the shadows, I think the last time was when someone turned a Peverell.” He contemplatedSoon we were inside of Hogwarts and then the great hall.“Gemini, where’s Pan?” I asked“Helping poppy with the wounded, why?”“When he gets a second, send him to the great hall. I have a present for him.”“Kay.”After waiting a few minutes, Pan came to the hall.“You wanted to see my general?”“Yes, I found one of the perpetrators for the attack and defeated her.”“Did you kill her?”“I wanted to, but she is your kill.” I then released the shadows that were hiding Bellatrix and Pan gasped“I think she got off a little too easy at her trial, don’t you Neville?” I asked him.“Yes general I do, did you already.”“I already got everything I needed from her. It’s up to you what her fate is.”Neville grinned darkly. No, this wasn’t Neville anymore; this was Pan.“I do believe I’ll give her a taste of her own medicine, and then…well, I wonder how many pieces can be removed from the human body until they die.”I chuckled ah I was a terrible influence on my friends.“Have fun Pan, the crimsonfucker and I have a pink toad to find.”“So I was right, Gemini owes me weeks worth of pranks.”I laughed at him and made my way to the makeshift bunker/hospital. Oh yes, the toady wouldn’t know what hit them

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

I walked down the steps to the bunker slowly. There was no rush; I knew she was down here. You can’t hide from your own shadow, and when I have a tracker on yours, well, you most certainly can’t hide from me. I walked past the wounded, past the scared little children, straight to Umbridge her guards and…the minister? What the fuck was Fudge doing here. I slipped my shadow towards his. Strange, there wasn’t much information. I looked further back and further and further until finally there was something, seems like his first day in office, after that nothing: nothing but a pink blur, clouds and a familiar feeling. Shit, the minister has been imperioed. Periodically since he took office. No fucking wonder Umbitch was able to get her shit passed.“Is there something we can help you with Miss Potter?” An Auror asked“You could stand aside,” I replied, snapping out of my thoughts“Er, no, we can’t leave the minister unguarded.” Another said“Oh you can stay with the minister, but I would suggest stepping away from his undersecretary.” I pointed towards the pink toad.“Unless you want the same treatment she's about to receive.” I continued“Now look here! You might have defeated a whole armada of ghouls-” the head leader began“That’s right. I was out on the field next to my classmates and teachers. Where the hell were you.” I snapped“Our duty is to protect the minister and his guests.”“Actually Dawlish, the duty of an auror is to protect the magical people when a crisis arrives, not form a protection around the minister. The minister would have been fine with only one auror, not an entire squadron. The rest of your group should have been out there helping destroy the ghouls; instead, I find out not only were all of you down here but none of you even lifted a finger to help the wounded or set up this bunker. You just stood there around the minister and his undersecretary.” I turned at the stern voice, recognizing Amelia Bones.“Listen, Amelia-“She held up her hand, silencing him.“First of all, that’s head Auror Bones. Secondly, as of this moment, I’m suspending you without pay. The rest of you are restricted to desk duty. As Hogwarts has always been a separate territory from the ministry’s following mainly under the queen's rule, that makes you lot Miss Potter’s guest. Meaning her word is law.” She continued.I was shocked she knew about that little tidbit. We were trying to keep that a secret. I guess if it was recorded in the ministry records, then it would have been easy to find. Either way, she made my job a little easier.“In other words, stand away from the pink bitch before I have lady Hogwarts move you for me.” I snapped, and they finally moved.“What do you think you’re doing! Get back into position, or I’ll have all of you sacked.” Umbitch screechedI walked up to the woman, smiled sweetly at her. She looked at me about to open her mouth when I slammed her into the wall. Gripping her neck tightly.“Tell me something Umbitch. What was your goal for tonight? Was it to have me killed, was it to seize Hogwarts and blackmail the parents of the children, or was it to obtain immortality.” I asked, knowing the answer but wanting to hear it from her. I gripped her neck tighter, reveling at the sounds of her attempts to breathe.“Either you answer my questions, or you die, and before you think I won’t do anything, remember you are guest on these grounds. You’ve already violated the rules of hospitality when you used blood quills on the other residents, including an heir to the Gryffindor and Slytherin lines. I have every right to end your life right now. I suggest you start talking.” I spoke darkly as More pressured was applied to her neck before I released her.Umbitch collapsed to the floor, coughing and taking deep breathes. Before she lunged at me. I stepped to the side and kicked her in the gut knocking the air out of her lungs. She clutched her stomach as she crumpled into the fetal position. I gripped her hair to raise her head.“Well? Are you going to answer me, or do I have to hurt you more,” I asked, bringing my wand up to her neck.“Fine! Yes I weakened the wards. I worked with those Nazi’s and with the dark lord to get rid of you and seize Hogwarts. I wanted immortality, and you gone.” She spat at me.“Did you also cast the imperious on the minister?” I askedShe froze up in shock; the guilt was clearly across her face.“You can’t prove anything.” She whispered“Oh? Maybe if I show them your arm,” I said“Go ahead, there's nothing there.” She smugly stated.I pulled up her sleeve and saw she was right. I rubbed at her arm to see if there was make-up. There wasn’t, but there was a faint trace of magic, not her magic but Voldemorts’.“Reveal yourself,” I hissed. The arm flashed as the magic followed my command revealing her mark.“Well now, isn’t this interesting? Director Bones, what is the penalty for someone who’s done what she has?” I asked“The dementors kiss or death by the veil.” She answered grimly“So, it would be within my rights to decide her punishment?” I asked.“Yes,” she said, her mouth in a thin line“Good, Dolores Umbridge, for your crimes against the magical community and her highness the queen, I sentence you to be punished by all the students you have harmed while here, then to death by Alucard's’ dogs. If they’d even be willing to eat trash such as yourself. If not, I’ll feed you to my dragon. She likes toads,” I said. Hey, I may not have dogs, but I have a dragon and a mother fucking owl who will claw a bitch. The horntail was impressed because I chewed out the tamers for not keeping the eggs warm and safe for the task. She gave me one of her eggs after the tournament.“Now, now Persephone, don’t you think that’s a little bit too harsh. Surely she-”“Oh cut the crap Dumbledor. This woman doesn’t deserve a second chance, nor does she deserve a lesser punishment.” I snapped at him“Seeing as I’m headmaster-““You’re kidding, right? When I took control of the wards, I became interim headmistress. Even if you were, I am the lady of both Gryffindor and Slytherin, which means I outrank you. In other words, get the fuck out of my castle.” I snapped and felt the castle literally eject him from her halls.“Now that the trash has been taken out, I do believe it’s time to meet out punishment for a certain toad,” I said, grinning menacingly as my shadows wrapped around her and dragged her to the dining hall.Oh yes, revenge would be sweet.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

I burst through the doors to the Great Hall with a bounce in my step. This was a long time coming, and boy was I ready. All of the students were either in the bunker recovering or fueling up on carbs and trying to come down from the adrenaline rush.“Great job everyone, we held off the fake vampires until proper backup arrived. So as a gift, I brought you nice plump toad for you to practice your spells on.” I said extra sweetly, my smile spreading as I heard her muffled screams.“Er-Potter, you do know that’s Umbridge, not a toad right,” Draco asked“Why Draco darling, I think you might need your eyes checked, she looks more like a toad.”“Yeah but, she’s a human being,” Parkison shouted.I tilted my head, narrowing my eyes towards her.“I think your mistaken Pansy, A Human being wouldn’t torture children—” I rose my hand to show the effects of the blood quill.“A human wouldn’t make deals with Nazi’s a human wouldn’t sacrifice an entire school full of inexperienced children just for a chance at immortality. No, this is no human. It’s insulting to call her a toad for toads.  She is nothing but shit. Furthermore, this is my territory, and I can do as I see fit when it comes to punishing those who have harmed my wards.” I screeched, feeling my eyes flash red briefly.I took a few seconds to calm myself; otherwise, my shadows would strangle the piece of shit before the kids got to play with her. Damn, I’d need to feed soon, or my blood lust would become too much.“Now then to those of you who have been wronged by this shit-stain, nothing lethal she’s not allowed to die until after everyone’s gotten some vengeance. The elves will make sure now if you—” my speech was interrupted as I was picked up by the Gemini“Sorry folks but our dear—”“General here needs to go rest—”“And refuel so if you don’t mind—”“We will be taking her to do just that—”They practically flew right out of the great hall and up to the seventh floor. Before they popped us into the room of requirement. With a table full of blood pops, chocolates, and pudding. I couldn’t hold back I practically devoured everything in front of me. When I was done, the twins handed me a glass full of blood—their blood. I drink it down, savoring their taste. The taste of my Gemini. It tasted just as sweet—If not sweeter—as my other teammates.“Thanks guys, didn’t realize how much I needed that.”  I smiled at them warmly, feeling my inner beast pure in content from the care my pack gives me.“Considering you went all out with your powers and were surrounded by a shit ton of blood—it’s no wonder you would need to feed on some blood,” Athena drawled“The twins decided it was their turn to feed you a glass of their blood, and we all know you prefer their blood the most.” Ares agreed as he examined his nails“Why little brother, we thought—”“You would have figured out by now—”“That we’re—”“Mates—” they said, placing an elbow on each of my shoulders, their tails out and flicking back and forth in amusement.I felt my eyebrow twitch and hit them both on the head.“How many times do I have to tell you idiots, not to assume that we’re mates. Just because I find your blood addicting doesn—” My rant was cut off as my grandfather showed up.“The fact you prefer their blood is an indication of being your mates. Add in the fact kitsunes’ only give their blood up willingly if it’s to their mate,” Alucard said, smirking from the shadowsI groaned and put my face into my palms. “In other words, I’m stuck with a pair of pranksters…at least my life will never get boring.”“Oh please, you’re the daughter of a Marauder, the girl-who-lived, a master vampires grandaughter and descended from two of the founders. You were never meant for normalcy.” Athena sniped“Bitch, if I wanted to listen to some logic, I would have tried to find Spock.” I sniped“Bitch, you know he doesn’t exist.”“Listen here bookworm. If vampires and witches can exist, why not Vulcans.”“And here I thought you didn’t want to listen to the logic ya bloodsucker.”“Keyword listen, I have no problems dishing them out, nosey.”“Leech”“Blabbermouth”We looked at each other and started laughing uncontrollably. I always did love having these spats with my friends.“As amusing as this is, we do need to come up with a strategy,” Integra spoke up“Seeing as how now the imposters are working with magic rulers now,” Pan addedI sighed; they were right. We had discussed the possibility of Millennium teaming up with Voldemort, but hadn’t come up with any concrete plans on how to combat them if they did.“I guess first things first then, how do we make Hogwarts a sanctuary or a base of operations?” I asked“Maybe hire some ward masters? Or get in touch with the goblins?” Athena suggested“Both would cost money and to be able to trust them not to slip something unnoticeable.”“What about your shadows?” Ares asked.“While that might be an idea, it takes a lot of energy to keep them in check and to use them. Yes, I can use them to spy and track, but the more I use them, the more blood I need to consume.” I answered“Ares isn’t your brother a curse breaker?” Pan asked“Yea but that wouldn’t make him a ward master,” Ares answered“You should be lucky you’red cute Ronald,” Athena said“What’s that supposed to mean?!” He exclaimed, blood rushing to his face in embarrassment.“Think for a second brother, to enter the Egyptian pyramids, what does Bill have to do?” Gemini asked“Break the wards—Oh right” He started rubbing his neck and laughing nervously.“Calm down Ares. We’ve all had a long night, I think it’s time we got some rest. We can strategize more in a few hours. Until then, goodnight or well morning as the case may be.” I said, waving to them all as I went to one of the beds provided by the room.I was soon joined by a pair of foxes and looked at them in amusement.“Grandfather wouldn’t let you join me unless you were in your fox form, huh?”They nodded vigorously. I laughed at them, opening my arms for them to cuddle up to me. I smiled happily and snuggled into them as I let my mind drift off into sleep.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Persephone woke surrounded by Fred and George…in their humanoid form with their ears out. Her face reddened when she saw they were shirtless. She couldn’t help it; they were hot with their shirts off. She could feel Fred at her back, George, in front. She reached a hand out towards his chest and ran it down. Oh yeah, those were not an illusion.Persephone looked up to see if She had woken George. She didn’t. She felt something warm and soft curled around her waist. Noticing it was their tails, she pet them. Eliciting moans from the twins, Persephone paused, face turning tomato red, but seeing they weren’t awake…she kept stroking the tails. She might be embarrassed, but her inner beast was smirking, enjoying the moans coming from her mates. It wasn’t until Fred grabbed both arms in an embrace with George staring down at her with a fanged smirked that she paused. She knew…she was in *shiver* trouble.“Does our little mate enjoy petting us?” George asked“Or maybe she enjoys hearing our moans, brother?” Fred asked“Mmmm, only fair we get to hear hers, don’t you think?” George continued“Indeed, brother,” Fred said as he blew across her ear, forcing another shiver of pleasure to roll down her back.Persephone wanted to stop them. At the same time, she wanted to see where this was going. As George leaned towards her lips and Fred her neck, Alucard dumped a bucket of ice-cold water on them. Causing all three to yelp in shock and surprise.“Grandfather!” Persephone yelled.“I do recall saying you two could only join my granddaughter if in fox form.” Alucard smiled menacingly at the two foxes.“Yes, join me you said nothing about them staying foxes.” Persphone snapped, irritated at her now wet and cold state.“Hmmm, very well, I’ll let it slide for now, but no adult stuff until your sixteen,” Alucard stated“Does it look like I want to get pregnant at sixteen?” Persephone deadpanned.“No, but I know how vampiric and kitsune hormones are like,” Alucard said.Persephone sighed in exasperation. Why did her grandfather have to be a troll of all things...Sirius and him can never meet. Too much chaos and Remus would kill her. Who was she kidding? Integra would kill her. It would be funny though.“Kay, so what was the real reason you woke me?”“The queen is coming to visit in about thirty minutes. I and your retinue have already set everything up to receive her. All you need to do is wash and dress in the clothes set out.”“Will this be a regular meeting or a regal meeting?” I asked“Regal.” He answered“Shit, I really didn’t want to talk in politic speak. It always leaves a sour taste in my mouth,” I said as I left the bed.“Don’t worry general—”“We’ll be right there beside you.”“In your lap.”“While I appreciate the sentiment George, Fred, It’s improper for me to have my animals in my lap at a regal meeting,” Persephone responded with a small smile.“We understand—”“We will instead lay—”“At your feet—”“Watching for threats—"“And protecting you.”“I appreciate that, but right now, you two need to get ready and leave before my grandfather mauls you.” Persephone finished as she pecked them both on the cheek. After everyone left the room, she walked towards the bathroom with a sigh.“This is turning out to be quite the show.” She said to no one in particular.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

After Persephone was dressed in her more formal attire, she walked towards the Great Hall. The doors were being guarded by the queens' personal security, who looked nervously at Alucard, remembering what happened the last time someone tried to stop him. They allowed Persephone through the doors and announced her presence to the queen. Persephone dropped into a low curtsey for the queen waiting for her to give permission to rise.“Rise lady Potter, and come forward. We have many questions for you on the events of last night.”“Yes, your highness.” Persephone agreed, walking towards the queen and taking the offered seat across from her.“May I offer you some refreshments, your highness?” Persephone asked once she was seated.“We would appreciate some chamomile tea. Something tells us the answers to our questions will be most upsetting.” The queen answered.Persephone nodded in acknowledgment, summoning her elves forward to bring the tea. Once they both had a cup, the queen asked for a report on last night and as to why the ministry undersecretary was tied up and appearing half-dead.“We were attacked last night by ghouls from Millennium, and Bellatrix Lestrange, who was found to have one of those vampiric chips in her neck. From this, I deduced Voldemort and Millennium had teamed up. Bellatrix is already being taken care of by Pan as he had more right than I to decide her sentence.” Persephone took a sip of her tea to allow the queen to process the first report.“The undersecretary is as of now a prisoner of Hogwarts. It was found that she had the dark mark and had been continuously controlling minister Fudge since his first day in office with the imperious curse. Furthermore, during her time here, she harmed the wards of Hogwarts. Seeing as how the headmaster was not taking action in response to not only her but the incoming attack, I took control of Hogwarts. I apologize. I know we had agreed that I would claim the school after my graduation. However, I could see no other option than to take action last night if we were to survive.” Persephone finished.“We see.” The queen responded as she thought about what she had been told.“It is our understanding, the wards have fallen. From the evidence outside and the broken wards, we can agree your options were limited. You are not in trouble, Lady Potter. We do wonder how you intend to fix the wards?” the queen repliedPersephone released the breath she was holding. Glad the queen was not angry with her for going against orders.“We plan to have Ares brother fix and create new wards. However, until he arrives, I will have a barrier of shadows around the castle while also having Kore guard. A dragon is a rather good deterrent for most.” Persephone answered smirking.“Very well, how goes the hunt for Riddles Horcrux's?” The queen asked.“So far, we have found and eliminated four out of seven: the diary, Ravenclaws diadem, my scar, and Slytherins locket. We have an idea as to where the Gaunt ring may be, and we can now access the vault where Hufflepuff's cup resides. After that, we will have to locate Riddles snake Nagini, then target Riddle himself.” Persephone answered.“We see. Lady Potter, for someone your age, you have done remarkably well with every problem that has come across your path. Though we would expect nothing less from someone of the Hellsing family and of Alucard's line. If there is anything, you need do not be afraid to ask. We will do our best to assist our citizens magical or mundane.” The queen praised. The queen rose from her seat, and Persphone did as well, escorting the queen from Hogwarts grounds and sending her off. Once she returned to the castle, she removed the stuffy clothes and changed into a pair of sweats.“I hate having to dress up regally,” She groaned.“Though it could have been worse. The queen could have been angry with me. I’m just glad she understood the actions I had to take.” Persephone finished. She was soon joined by her war council, and her mates joined her side. Fred started to work the tensions out of her shoulders while George curled up in her lap in his fox form.“How do you two always know what I need.” She asked them“We’re your mates. It’s our job,” Fred answered.“So, General, what’s next,” Athena asked.“First, we get Bill here to set up the wards. Then Gemini and I will pay a visit to Gringotts for the cup. Pan and Moon will track down the ring and retrieve it. Ares and Athena will stay here and screen everyone to see who is on what side. Afterward, we’ll need to meet with the Hellsing organization and work to take out Riddle and Millennium. For now, we’ll relax after we contact Bill. We’ve all earned it, and my shadows and Hogwarts will watch over us.” Persephone finished as she leaned back in her chair. She hoped her Potter luck would hold off long enough. Who was she kidding? If the potter curse didn’t act up, then the other parts of her bloodline would. Oh well, they always said the first plan didn’t always succeed, which is why she had plan b-z already in her head.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Persephone and the twins walked to the goblin tellers with purpose. She needed to confiscate the cup hidden in Bellatrix’s vault. It had been about a week since the new wards were installed, and since she arranged a meeting with goblins of Gringotts.“May I help you, madam?” The teller asked.“Yes Sir Griphook, I’m here for my appointment with head manager Bloodfang,” Persephone stated cordially.Griphook raised an eyebrow. Not many humans bothered to remember their names. Griphook briefly looked in his book and confirmed the appointment.“Yes, it would seem you are a few minutes early, but Bloodfang should be with you soon.” He said.“Thank you, Griphook, may your vaults be filled with gold.” Persephone curtsied.Griphook was taken aback very rarely did a—wait why does this girl smell, oh that explains it she’s one of Dracula’s descendants. Well, this is bound to bring a whole bundle of chaos…for the wizards, that is.“And may your enemies blood run like a river,” Griphook replied with a bow.Persephone smirked as she walked towards a waiting room led by an apprentice. Once she and her party were sat comfortably, Blood fang turned in his chair. Persephone had to keep her and the twins from snickering. He looked like one of those tacky villains out of a cheap movie.By the smirk on his face, Bloodfang knew exactly what he was doing. Guess the goblins were a fan of muggle movies who knew?“Ah yes, young lady Potter and her—”“They're my mates,” Persephone answered.“Ah yes, Fred and George Weasley, the first Pruitt’s in a century to have active kitsune blood,” Bloodfang answered.“Indeed our good sir,“We are this darling ladys’,“Foxes, her devoted“servants and“Guards” They finished together“Gred, Forge, I love you. I really do, but could you please not do the twin speak while we’re on a mission?” Persephone looked at them, exasperated.“A mission? Would this have anything to do with the meeting you arranged?” Bloodfang questioned.“Yes. We came here hoping to liberate a certain item from Bellatrix Lestrange's vault.” Persephone answered.“Are you sure you don’t mean steal?” Bloodfang glared.“Well, considering she’s gone against the Black family, which I cast her out for, is more than likely dead or close to it, and she violated the treaty with the bank.” Persephone listed ticking off each item with her fingers.Bloodfang narrowed his eyes. The first two didn’t matter too much to the goblins(they would only allow Persephone control over the vault) but the last? Well, the last one held some significant repercussions, depending on how the treaty was violated.“Go on,” He encouraged.“Bellatrix Lestrange was given a rather rare artifact by Tom Riddle. An artifact made useless thanks to what Riddle did to it.”“Having a rare artifact isn’t grounds for violating the treaty.”“It is if that artifact is a Horcrux.” Persephone snapped.“What evidence do you—”“From the bastard, himself or at least a part of him,” Persephone cut off Bloodfang, tapping her scar.“Are you implying that you’re a Horcrux Lady Potter?”“I was a Horcrux until last summer, that is,” Persephone answered.“What happened last summer,” Bloodfang asked.“I ran into my grandfather and later my cousin due to a rather unfortunate event at surrey, which caused me to awaken my vampiric side,” Persephone answered, looking away in remembrance. She may not have liked the Dursley’s—or rather anyone in Privet drive, but they didn’t deserve to be turned into ghouls. Dudley didn’t deserve to lose his parents like he did.“I see. That…makes more sense than it should.” Bloodfang stated.“Unfortunately, I cannot give you access to the vault in question. Not until you filled out the proper forms. However,” Bloodfang raised his hand to delay their reaction.“If you tell us the item we’re looking for, Gringotts can take care of the item at the cost of the vault, seeing as how she violated the treaty.” Blood fang continued“Those terms are agreeable if—”“If?”“If we can be allowed to watch the retrieval and disposal of the item,” Persephone answered.Bloodfang took a few minutes to consider her proposition. There wasn’t anything against a couple of magical watching such a process. It’s never been done before, but well, it was a small price to pay.“Deal.” He said“Very well, the item you are looking for is Hufflepuff's cup, and outside of any books or artifacts belonging to the Black family, the gold and vault are yours.” Persephone grinned with her canines extended.“Agreeable if you wouldn’t mind returning in a few days, we have to set up for the extraction of the soul fragment,”  Bloodfang replied, rising from his seat.“Very well, I do have a meeting to attend to tomorrow anyway. Need to give my cousin some kind of backup.” Persephone answered.“Ah, yes, she’s meeting with Maxwell, isn’t she?” Fred asked“She is, and something tells me she’ll need some blackmail against him,” Persephone answered.“Well, then I guess it’s a good thing we just so happen to have some,” George smirked before all three laughed maniacally.Bloodfang watched the trio walk out of his office. Those three were definitely going to take the wizarding world by storm.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Persephone had to admit this was a rather…normal place to have a meeting. Though she supposed that was the point. She kept an eye on her cousin as she and Maxwell had their little discussion, which was really a trade of insults.“ANDERSON,” Maxwell shouted.Anderson, Anderson—why did that sound so familiar to Persephone? She turned to look and there she saw her Grandfather, His childe walking in between them with a group of tourists and…“Father Anderson?” Persephone questioned, shocked at the sight of her old mentor“Little Persephone, what are ye doing among these demons?” Anderson asked.“Er, well, they’re my family,” Persephone said sheepishly as all the eyes turned on her.“Anderson, who’s she, and how do you know her?” Maxwell asked“Yes, Persephone, how do the two of you know each other?” Integra asked, smiling at her cousin.“She was at one of the church camps I visit over the summer, in Ireland. I was actually planning on convincing her to become a part of the organization.” Anderson stated.“So, you guys know how my mom’s family is Irish, right?” Persephone asked“Yes, and.”“Well, they’re also catholic, and Petunia sent me to church camp during the summer in an attempt to make me normal.” Persephone continued.“Does that mean you’re—”“Catholic? No. I do believe there’s an almighty creator who love’s their creations, but I don’t really trust the Catholic church.”“Miss Potter!” Alexander scolded in dismay.“Joan of Arc Father Anderson Joan of Fucking Arc,” Persephone responded furiously.“Considering I’m cousins with Integra, thus part of the Hellsing family, I’m also the granddaughter of Alucard here, I’d be unsuitable in your organization,” She finished, tensing up and waiting for an attack. Her mates sensed her change in stance. They came forward and stood guard in front of her in their fox form. Anderson glanced at them, recognizing them for what they were.“Are those—”“Kitsune? Yes”“I see, well, then it was nice seeing you, Persephone Potter. Just know when next we meet, I won’t hold back.” Anderson turned away.“What did you do to Anderson?” Maxwell screamed.“If I had to take a guess, he couldn’t really see Persephone as something evil. Not when he saw some of her life.” Integra answered“Now, then, I do believe we had a meeting?” Integra smiled up at him.“Ah yes, right this way.” Maxwell gestured to the café.“Oh and Maxwell?” Persephone called, smiling sweetly.“Hmm,” He said, looking towards Persephone.“If I were you, I would be upfront with any and all information you have; otherwise, I may just have to let what I know slip.” Persephone threatened.“Heh, Little girl I doubt—”“Charlotte,” Persephone stated, staring him down. Maxwell broke out in a cold sweat. How could she have known about that? He wondered.“Very well, Sir Integra, if you would?” Maxwell held the door open for her before joining her in the café.Persephone smirked. She knew making friends with Charlie when she went on that trip with her grandfather would come in handy. She had to wonder if she had gotten that hotel of her’s up and running yet. Eh, she may have to go revisit her at some point. She could use a vacation after all this is over.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Persephone had chosen to sit in the museum's gardens while waiting for her cousin to finish her meeting. The view was rather lovely, and she doesn’t get the chance to relax like this too much. Fred and George were playing in their fox forms while they kept an eye on her. When they suddenly stopped, she knew something was wrong. Scanning her surroundings, she spotted...“I thought you said the next we meet, we would fight Father Anderson.” She quirked her eyebrow at him“Aye, that I did lass, but seeing as how we’re in a public place—““Didn’t seem to stop you from attacking grandfather,” she picked up her cup, sipping at the tea inside“We stopped when people arrived,” He answered sheepishly“What do you want” she sighed“How did a sweet lass such as yourself get involved with all this” Anderson waved his hand towards Integra“Father, you do know I’m a witch, right? That was the whole reason my relatives sent me to camp in the first place.” Persephone looked off into the distance, remembering the spells he helped her learn. He better remember teaching her magic, or he was an imposter.“Aye, but you were a natural witch, not one of the devils wenches, or so I thought,” Anderson grimaced, the organization had quite a few witches, and he had helped her learn spells that would come in handy against the monsters they fought.“Just because I have Alucard's blood in my veins does not make me one of the devils.” Persephone slammed her cup down, glaring at Alexander“Besides,” she grinned, “The devils a fucking asshole, his daughters much better” Persephone laughed as Alexander seemed to choke on air“He has a daughter.”“Mhm, though, you wouldn’t know it from the way they act. I think she might have inherited his lost angelic side,” Persephone mused“I...don't know how to respond to that.” Alexander slumped into his seat, defeated“Not many people do, but I am curious. Why haven’t you attacked me yet? I mean, most agents of your organization wouldn’t have even hesitated.” Persephone stared at Alexander intently, head resting on her hands.“For some reason, I can’t see a demon or a monster. All I see is the lonely little girl who was filled with kindness.” He ran a hand down his face“That’s how demons trick others. Hell, that's literally the plot of D-gray man.” Persephone admonished they may be enemies now, but she still had a soft spot for the one who taught her to fight with a sword.“Except I know ye lass, you might have that monsters blood runnin through yer veins, but I know ye wouldn’t do something like that.” Alexander pleaded, trying to get through to Persephone. He still hoped there was a way of saving her.“Father, I’ve killed people. I have their blood on my hands. I’m not innocent; I’m not kind; I’m just as much a monster as Alucard.” She rubbed at her temples in frustration. Why wasn’t he getting this?“And ye think ye wouldn’t have been doing the same in the organization?” He asked softly“I—I dragged a woman and strung her up, Father. I let other students other children take their pound of flesh before I let her die. She suffered for days.” Persephone had to hold back tears.“The worst part, the worst part is I enjoyed it. I enjoyed watching her writhe in pain. Watching her suffer for all the harm she caused. Tell me how that doesn’t make me a monster.” She gripped her palms tightly, stretching out the words ‘I must not tell lies’ catching Anderson’s attention“Did she do this to ye” he gripped the hand, staring down in horror at the markings.“It wasn’t just me.” She snatched her hand away, muttering softly.“I see.” Anderson made to leave the table, to leave her.“Do you want to hear how I became a monster?” She whispered quietly.Anderson sat back down; he shouldn’t entertain her. He should attack her or just leave, but he had to know.“Aye”Persephone inhaled a deep, shaky breath“It all happened when Private Drive was attacked during the summer...” she began

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Persephone was roughly shaken awake by her uncle in the middle of the night in mid-June. He was holding his shotgun (not the one Hagrid bent) and looked fearful.“Wha—uncle Vernon why’d you wake me? What’d I do wrong this time” she spoke groggily while rubbing away the sleep in her eyes“No time for foolish questions girl, you got your wand on you?” He snapped“I—yeah, why?”“Good, I hate to say this, but if we’re gonna survive tonight, we might need your magic” Vernon nodded at the wand.‘Uncle Vernon needing magic? Since when’ Persephone thought in disbelief“Pet, is Dudley up yet.” Vernon whisper yelled while looking out the window.“Daddy, what’s going on? Why am I awake. Did she do something again,” he asked in anger glaring at Persephone; she stuck her tongue out at him.“No Dudders. You got that cloak of yer dads on you,” Vernon Grunted.“I—how do you know about that.” Persephone stared at him in astonishment. The only people who knew about her cloak were close family and friends. She highly doubted her mother would have told Petunia.“The same way I know about yer stash.” He looked pointedly at the floorboard“Vernon, you can’t be serious—“ Petunia began to screech.“Pet, I may have agreed with you on many things when it came to the girl. Though sending her to that camp was risky and stupid. I hate magic just as much as you do, but right now, we need whatever edge we can get.” Vernon interrupted her harshly, still watching outside, but keeping away from view.Persephone decided to take a glance out the window and paled,“Why the blood-soaked Protestant hell are there ghouls in private drive” she whispered in horror, mimicking her mentor from camp.“I’m surprised you know what those are, didn’t think your rubbish school would teach about them.” Vernon shivered at the familiar saying; he didn’t know why but it reminded him of some crazy-ass catholic priest…he just didn’t know who.“They don’t, but Father Anderson did.” She shrugged“Anderson as in Alexander Anderson of the Iscariot organization,” Vernon asked in disbelief and just a bit of fear. No-one wanted to run into Anderson, especially if you were on opposing sides.“Yeah, how do you know him?” Persephone tilted her head, narrowing her eyes; last she checked, Vernon was Protestant and refused to convert to Catholic when he married Petunia.“Bloody hell! I told you sending her to that camp was a bad idea. I’m a former member of the Hellsing organization. Mostly I filed the paperwork, but I was a rather good shot when it came down to it.” Vernon walked towards the floorboard, pulling it up and tossing Persephone her cloak.“How many can you fit under there.”“Two adults. If you worked for that organization, why do you hate magic so much?”“It made those things out there. Do you really think I wanted it in my house” he snarled“Then why not just give me up? Anderson would have gladly taken me in if he could.”“Because of the bloody wards,” Vernon yelled.“If you’re talking about the blood wards, then hate to break it to ya, but they aren’t strong enough to hold against those.” If they had treated her as family, then the wards would have been a lot stronger, but they didn’t, so here they are. Karma’s a bitch.“I was afraid of that; you stopped seeing this place as home since Hogwarts, didn’t you.” Vernon sighed in dismay. He was beginning to regret how he treated his niece. If they made it out of this alive, he’d do whatever he could to make it up to her.“Actually, it was when I went to camp.” She deadpanned.“Will they hold long enough for us to get in the car and make an escape for it?” Vernon questioned, walking out of the Persephones room with her trailing behind.Persephone concentrated; she had been practicing on sensing and reading the wards around Hogwarts but nothing else. Thankfully it wasn’t too difficult to sense the blood wards.“One strong hit, maybe two, and they're gone, so we better leave before then.” She warned.“Alright, Pet, you drive, Dudley, do you remember how I taught you to shoot?” Vernon held out a hand pistol to him, and he nodded solemnly, taking it.“Know any good fire spells?”“Tch I had Anderson as a teacher you think I wouldn’t have learned the spells needed to take care of ghouls?.” Persephone snarked“Good, then you and Dudley will watch the rear of the car. I’ll take the front. If for any reason we have to go on foot before dawn...take Dudley and run.” Vernon cocked the shotgun as he leads them to the car.“Wha—but dad—“ Dudley sputtered at the idea of leaving his parents behind.“No! Ghouls are not something to mess around with their mindless beasts who only listen to their maker. If we have to go on foot, you stick with your cousin, and you do as she says. Do I make myself clear,” he snarled, now was not the time to pander to his son's demands.“I—yes.” Dudley had never seen his dad so severe before…it was terrifying.“Good now, get in the damn car.” Vernon wrenched open the door waiting for the kids to get in. Once Petunia had the car started, Vernon opened the garage. This was when the ghouls started to swarm the house. They piled up on the barrier, striking at it harshly. Persephone was right; two hits and the wards broke.“Girl, we need an escape route,” Vernon shouted, opening the sunroof“Fiendfyre,” Persephone screamed, popping out. A giant flaming basilisk sprung from her wand consuming every single ghoul insight. Petunia didn’t waste time. She hit the gas and swerved out of the driveway once the fire dissipatedPersephone collapses onto the seat, breathing harshly. She hadn’t cast that particular spell too often, and it was taking its toll on her.“You alright there?” Vernon asked as he shot down a couple of ghouls in their way.“Yeah, but I don’t think I can cast that one again anytime soon.” She was huffing from exhaustion.“Well, that’s why we have guns, you recover quickly, so if we need it, we can use it.” Vernon huffed; he really should have stayed in shape, but how was he to know he would ever run into ghouls again?Persephone opened her mouth to reply when suddenly the car flipped forward, and all that escaped was a scream.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Persephone groaned in pain as she was slapped awake by her uncle. It took her a few minutes to remember what happened. They were talking about her spell casting and then...oh“Is everyone okay?” She asked. “Dudley's fine. Can you summon that fire again?” Vernon asked, deadly serious.“Yeah, but Wha—““Good, cause right now we’re surrounded. I need you to make a path towards the forest—“ He moves his head in the direction of a mass of trees “ Then take Dudley and make a run for it.”“I—what about you two?” She questioned“Don’t worry about us just...promise me you’ll protect Dudley.” Vernon looked away in an attempt to keep her from seeing his grief.“Wha—“Vernon shot behind Persephone at a ghoul before grabbing her by the arm.“Promise me,” he hissed“All right, I promise,” She conceded.“Good now then—“ Vernon looked towards where he last saw Dudley.“Mom? Mummy, Mom come on; please wake up; you can’t,” Dudley sobbed over his mother’s cold.dead.body.“Shit, I didn’t want him to see,” Vernon cursed quietly.Persephone looked over, eyes widening in shock. There in the car she had just come from sat Petunia Dursley with a shard of glass sticking out of her neck.“No,” she whispered in horror, covering her mouth.“We don’t have much time; you two need to escape,” Vernon whispered, shooting away another ghoul“Wha—I can’t leave dad, what abou—“ Dudley protested.“Do not argue with me!” Vernon shouted in anguish“Persephone, make a path, and do whatever you have to, to take Dudley,” Vernon pleaded with her.Persephone nodded and grabbed Dudley's hand, he tried to pull away, but she only tightened her grip. Usually, she wouldn’t have been able to hold on, but she guessed the adrenaline had made her temporarily stronger. Raising her wand and casting Fiendfyre once again, she pulled Dudley along. He was trying to break free, screaming towards his dad. Persephone cast as strong of a protection spell as she could towards him, praying it would help...it didn’t.When they were far enough, Persephone pulled out her cloak and draped it around her and her cousin. They continued to navigate the forest in numb silence.Stopping only when they saw a set of ghouls and...a vampire.“Is that—“ Dudley whispered“Don’t,” she pleaded“What do you mean don’t! He killed our neighbors, my friends, my parents, why shouldn’t I?” he whisper yelled.“Beca—““Little mice~ it’s not nice to hide, you know,” the vampire spoke. The cousins froze in fear. Persephone had forgotten that while the cloak could hide one from sight, it didn’t do much for sound. They watched in terror as the vampire and his ghouls grow closer to their hiding spot. Persephone's mind was frantic. She didn’t have enough power for another Fiendfyre; any other spell would be ineffective against the vampire. What could she do? There had to be something.Persephone sighed, looking to her cousin. She had promised to protect him…so that’s what she was going to do.Slowly she opened the cloak enough to let only her out but protect her cousin. He gripped her wrist tightly, trying to pull her back. She pried his hand off and smiled at him.“I’m faster than both of us; I’ll lead them away. Stay here until the sun rises, or I come back.” She whispered.“No don—“ Tears were forming in his eyes at the thought of losing yet another family member.“I promised your father I would protect you, and I plan to keep that promise.” Then she silently walked away from her cousin towards the ghouls and the vampire.“Oh~ the little mouse decided to come out. Where’s your friend?” The vampire purred.Persephone stared silently at the vampire before she grinned wide-eyed as she blasted him back with a Bombarda. Before he could recover, she took off.“Raghh, don’t just stand there idiots after her,” he screamed, giving chase behind his ghouls.Persephone was zipping through the trees avoiding the ghouls and trying to throw them off her scent. It was no use, for every one she evaded, two more showed up. She wouldn’t give up; she managed to survive this long. Unfortunately, she focused on evasion and less on where her feet were going. She ended up tripping over a tree root.“Well, well, seems the little mouse has gotten caught, and what’s this? The mouse is the girl-who-lived? Oh, this is just too precious.” The vampire laughed as he came closer to herPersephone was frozen in fear, she had no stamina left, and her foot was either sprained or broken. She was going to die, she was going to die, and there was nothing she could do about it.‘Not quite witch girl.’‘Who—‘‘Do you want to live?’ The voice askedDid she? After all, there wasn’t much out there for her. She was hunted year after year. Put through trials year after year. Did she really want to keep on living through all of that?“And when I’m done with you, I’m going to go back for the other mouse you lead me from and let my ghouls have some fun.”Persephone snapped her eyes towards him, her veins filling with anger. She may not like her relatives, hell maybe even downright hated them, but she’d be damned if this man made her break a promise.Persephone used every last bit of her strength to pull herself from the ground. She walked towards the vampire and his ghouls, shocking him.“I may be many things,” she growled, “A daughter, a niece, a cousin, a friend, and a witch. One thing I’m not is a coward. If you think for one bloody second I’m going to let you kill my cousin, well then you’ve obviously forgotten one important thing” she reached towards the source of the voice seeking power (she didn’t know how this power would help her. She just did) gripping it tightly once she located it.“And what’s that” the vampire snarled.“I’m Persephone fucking Potter,” she snarled as shadows spring from around her, impaling the ghouls and vampire. She walked up to the vampire and gripped him by the head.“And you should have never fucked with my family.” Before she twisted it straight off, his body drenching herself in blood.*clap* *clap*Persephone jerked around towards the noise, only to be met with a red-clad...vampire?“That was quite the impressive show for a midnight walk, Witch girl.”And damn if that voice didn’t sound exactly like the one that spoke to her.“You,” she pointed at him, accusingly, “you’re the one who spoke to me.”He quirked an eyebrow at her.“Oh? How sure are you of that.” He smirked at her, showing a few of his fangs.“It called me Witch girl too, had the same snarky toneas well.” She crossed her arms, glaring at him.The vampire only looked more amused“Well now, this is unexpected. My descendants aren’t usually able to awaken their vampiric side. There’s a reason I seal those with my blood, you see. “ He smirked.“So you're like my what? Ancestor?” She snapped“More like grandfather if those eyes are anything to go by. You’re Lily’s daughter, right?” He took a step towards her.“H—how do you know my mom.” She stepped back in fear.“It’s not often I’m able to sire a dhampir, but when I do, I tend to keep an eye on them in case they awaken to their bloodline. Though I never thought someone with only a quarter of my blood would be able to awaken that side.” He mused.“You know what? Fuck! Whatever! I’ve had a long night, I lost my aunt and uncle, and while we didn’t get along, we were still family, and now I still have to find my cousin who’s under an invisibility cloak.” Persephone shouted as she walked away from the carnage...only to fall forward from a sudden wave of exhaustion.“Looks like you overdid things, Witch girl.” He said, catching her in his arms.“You try casting two Fiendfyres, a level 6 protection spell, a Bombarda, and running to lead ghouls away from your cousin and see how you feel,” she mumbled, eyes drooping.“On top of awakening your vampiric blood, I would definitely say you’re going to need some blood and sleep.” He walked towards the direction she came from.“I’m not eating my cousin,” she mumbled“I wouldn’t dream of it, Witch girl. I’m merely looking for survivors.”“Who—“ she yawned, “Who are you?”“I’m the monster who hunts monsters, the weapon of the Hellsing organization, the crimson fucker...but you may call me grandfather.”“Heh Alucard, the master vampire is my grandfather...figures” she yawned again“Go to sleep, witch girl. I’ll make sure your cousin gets out safely and receives help.” Alucard said gently“Okay,” she murmured before succumbing to her exhaustion.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Alright, I finished fixing what I could and may have changed a few things. I'm going to keep this note here until I update with a new chapter. I'm not sure when that'll be but from here on out, If I have a chapter written then I'm going to post it as soon as it's cleaned up to the best of my capabilities. I may still end up posting multiple chapters in one night or it may just be the one. It's honestly however far my imagination takes me. Thank you all for being so understanding and patient, your comments make me so many happies. Even the ones with constructive criticism cause I need to know what needs work on.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

“So you gave in to your darker nature to save your cousin,” Anderson asked as he tried to digest what she’d told him.“Yeah.”“...you’re more like those in my branch than I thought.”“What” Persephone stated in outright shock.“Most in my branch are either orphans or criminals who want to atone for what they did. All of them are usually ones who, like you, gave in to their dark side to save others.” Anderson answered, stretching out the joints sighing in relief as they popped.“I don’t think I’ll hunt Ye down child, if only because I know ye. However, if we happen to find ourselves on the opposite side, I won’t be holding back.” He looked at her over his glasses, and she beamed up at him.“I wouldn’t have it any other way. Be careful getting home and...be wary of Maxwell; he smells too much of deceit and greed.” Persephone nodded her head to him in respect, watching him leave. She looked down at the sly fox who’d returned from his mission.“So, George, what did you find out about our...eavesdroppers.” The fox grinned deadly at her as she pets his brother. If the major had been smart, he wouldn’t have used someone like Schrodinger around them. Now how to convince the Neko child to leave and join them?

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

“Ron told me you needed to speak to me.”  Persephone walked towards Bill Weasley, who was busy looking over his notes and Hogwarts ward schemes' history.  He was frowning over the two. Persephone had a feeling this conversation would cause anger towards her.“Yes, I found something rather disturbing while looking over the wards.” Bill pulled up the drawings he’d developed.“See this rune configuration here? It’s shoddy work at best, and at worst, it's an explosion waiting to happen.” Bill said grimly“I’m guessing this one was implemented at the start of the year.” Persephone drawled unimpressed. You’d think Umbitch would have hired somebody to develop the configuration for her to apply it to the ward stone.“Correct, I’m not sure how she knew where the stone was.”“I have a feeling a certain…kitten helped her.” Persephone saw a flash of ears in the corner of her eye. Next plan, find a way to set up a trap for said kitten.“Kitten?” Bill looked at her in confusion.“Don’t worry about it. I doubt that was the only problem you found. I already know about them siphoning power from the wards, was there anything else?” She shuffled through some of his notes, frowning at some of the damage she saw.“Yes…someone was using the wards to draw magic from the residents while simultaneously controlling some of Hogwarts more chaotic magic,” Bill explained, cautiously taking a few steps away in fear for his safety.“What exactly does that mean?”She asked, cautiously turning away from the notes.“The changing stairs, hidden passages, knights, and the sorting hat, were all subjected to manipulation. Not always mind you but—”“Enough for them to lead students or teachers to where they want.” Persephone finished for Bill.“Yes, thankfully, when the new wards are set up, these won’t follow, and I can make it so additions such as this can’t be added,” Bill responded to her as he summoned his configurations.“Hmmm, I like these ideas but could you possibly make it so that any changes made to the wards in the future can only be done if three people chosen by Hogwarts have a majority agreement on the change?” Persephone inquired of the ward master.Bill smirked at the girl; he always enjoyed a challenge. “I knew there was a reason my siblings liked you.”“I’ll take that as a yes. Next question, can you create a trap which can trap something that exists and doesn’t exist at the same time?” Persephone grinned when Bill laughed boisterously.“Oh, a Schrodinger’s box. I fucking love your ideas.”

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Persephone was pursuing through the restricted section of the library. She knew there had to be some sort of trap to catch Schrodinger.“Ow.” Persephone winced as a thick tome fell on top of her head. She glared at the book before she realized what it was.‘Redacted’ cats what they are and how to catch them’ part of the title was crossed out, but the description was on point, and so was the trap.“You’re welcome.” A voice said from thin air.“Hello?” She asked.“One chance, and that’s all, build the box and catch the cat. Otherwise, you’ll miss your chance the child shall be lost forevermore.” The voice spoke before disappearing.“The fuck was that.”“My guess, a feline from wonderland,” Fred said as he leaned against her.Persephone blinked at the twin before saying, “Wonderland exists?”“Of course, it exists; where do you think George and I get our ideas for pranks from? We go to visit at least once a year.” Fred couldn’t believe his mate didn’t know wonderland existed.“We’ll have to take you some time. Though it may need to be when there’s an Alice active. Knowing your luck, you’d be picked otherwise.” George continued popping up from behind.Persephone groaned in agreement her luck was truly appalling wasn’t it?

“Er, what’s with the box,” Seras asked the heiress.“Oh, this? Don’t worry about it. Actually, do you think you can hold it for me?” Persephone smiled sweetly at the fledgling. For some reason, her gut was telling her Seras needed to hold the box.“Uh, sure, I guess.” Seras was confused as to why Persephone couldn’t hold it until one of her foxes jumped into her arms. They walked into the meeting room, where Seras zoned out a little bit. She still paid attention to signs of danger. Difficult not to considering her enhanced senses when she heard the cat boy calling for her attention.“What!” She screamed.“Ve vould make beautiful children together.” The boy smirked, causing Seras to blush before smacking him with the only thing in her hand...oh no, the box was sma—where did the boy go.“I’ll take that,” Persephone smirked as she grabbed hold of the now trapped cat boy.“Uh, why???” Seras baffled by the girl's reaction.“Needed a trap. You apparently were the trap” Persephone shrugged before turning to the queen asking permission to deal with the new situation.“Vhat just happened, Schrodinger! Vhere are—”“Excuse me for the language majesty but get bent, you fat nazi piece of shit.” Persephone laughed before apparating back home.“Oh vou—““Careful there, pudgy that’s my granddaughter you’re talking about.” Alucard grinned sharply, exuding some of his Dracula persona.“Ves vell ve vill be leaving now.” The major sweat dropped before shutting the communications off.“Doctor, vhat in the zee blazes just happened.” The major snarled.“I think they just hijacked our original plan.” The doctor blinked in surprise. He was sure any and all information on Schrodinger’s species had been burned.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

“So what are the plans for the cat boy.” The twins asked Persephone“Honestly? I’m not sure not unless we try to find a portal to wonderland or something” Persphone shrugged as she fiddled with the box. She was 90% certain the book was dropped by something similar to the Cheshire Cat. It would make sense if it were, but she also wasn’t sure if this wonderland was a pandora hearts, Tim Burton, or even madness returns wonderland. Tim Burton might be ok, but the other two ran the risk of her being sucked in as either an Alice or another character. Yeah, she was not in the mood for something like that.“Yeah, I don’t think that would be a good idea,” George answered.“I could always send him to Zelretch.” Alucard popped through the floor, grinning, holding a cell up to his ear.“We’re trying to save him, not traumatize him, at least not that much.” Persephone pinched the bridge of her nose, sighing.“Why not go into his mindscape?” Hermione asked the girl.“I would, but his mind is like him slippery and misty; you’d need someone just as if not more so,” Persephone replied.“What about Charlie.” Ron asked“You’re brother?” Hermione looked at Ron with her eyebrows furrowed“No, Charlie as in the devil's daughter,” Ron answered, stuffing a brownie in his mouth.“I’m not sure she’d be able to help.”“No, but she is pals with a spider demon, right? Even spider webs can catch a bit of mist.” Ron shrugged; hey, if you’re going to be terrified of something, you might as well know how they work.“Huh, that may just work; I’ll call her up and see what she can work out. If nothing else, her hotel may help the kid.” Persephone began to tap out a text to her friend.“I thought you didn’t want to traumatize him?” Alucard smirked at his granddaughter.“You really think Charlie would allow a kid to get hurt on her watch? She’d go full angel/demon on their ass.” For some reason, people seemed to forget Charlie was the daughter of an angel, a fallen one, yes but an angel all the same and one of the first demoness’s. Yeah, not someone you want to piss off.“You have a point very well. I’ll take the cat boy to her” Alucard snatched the box and opened a portal into hell. Jumping in feet first.“Poo, I wanted to spend some time with Charlie.” Persephone pouted before blinking when the twins stole a kiss each.“What was that for?”“You’re pout is too cute to resist.” Fred grinned at her, with George nodding behind his brother.“That’s fair.” Persephone nodded before leaving the room. She had a crown to find
