“K—Kaccha—ngh!”Nanao doesn’t hold himself back, never did he even. It’s always a convenience that Nanao’s parents are usually away from home and his sister was frequently at her friend’s house. This made it easier for the cousins to have a place to do their… private sessions at his house.Nanao remembers it clearly as if it only happened yesterday. When he casually offered to help Kaito vent out his frustrations in the most unlikely way possible, almost as if he was just asking him to play hide and seek. Kaito’s reaction when he offered the suggestion crept into his head all the time, the way he stuttered on his response and blushed like crazy. But the best part of that day was when he showed his seriousness by sucking his cousin off. Kaito was unable to process the sudden event and all he could do was let himself fall in the warmth of Nanao’s mouth. It started with mild gestures like blowjobs and handjobs until one moment Kaito watched Nanao finger himself as he gave him head. He remembers the surprise and excitement that bubbled inside him the moment Kaito pinned him against the bed, legs over the taller cousin’s shoulder and he doesn’t hold back the moan when he feels himself penetrated from behind by something bigger than his own fingers. It hurt, of course. The pain repeats itself in his memory every time they do it from then on. But it also felt good. The idea of having Kaito—the person most precious to him, the person he’d fallen for—inside him, fucking him into the bed like crazy, messing with his head and with his feelings; he could always handle that same pain all over again.Because it was nowhere near the pain he feels in his chest every day.Nanao didn’t just ask to be Kaito’s outlet for his frustrations because he pitied him. There was a deeper meaning to it and that was because he liked him. He liked him more than he’s supposed to. He liked him more than something platonically or sexually. He liked him—he loved him. And he doesn’t deny it to himself despite the fact that they’re cousins. It was a sin. It was said to be forbidden.Incest. Anyone would scoff if they find that out. Turn them into a laughingstock.Nanao could handle the embarrassment. But he wouldn’t be able to handle it if Kaito got hurt as well. This is why he decided this was fine. Just being able to do these things with Kaito—these sinful things—even if it meant nothing important to the other, he doesn’t know how each thrust, each graze of his fingertips on Nanao’s body, each feel of his lips and his breath ghosting over Nanao’s skin meant the world to Nanao.
It’s okay if you don’t return my feelings. I don’t mind staying like this with you.
“Ka—Kacchan! Oh god… ah! Ha, ah!” Nanao’s yells turn as loud as the erratic thrusts Kaito punished him with. His cousin was going much harder than he had been and Nanao knew why.He had lost the individuals again but this time, Minato was also part of it. Minato won of course and Masa-san praised him for his win. Even if everyone was aware of what Minato and Seiya had, Kaito still wouldn’t let go of his building jealousy between their coach and Minato.Nanao didn’t need any more said when Kaito asked if Nanao’s parents were gonna be home, he already knew what Kaito wanted to do. And so here they were. It didn’t take them long until Kaito was pushing him on the bed, stripping each other off their uniforms.Their sessions were always just rushed, messy attempts of pleasuring each other. There were no feelings exchanged, no strings attached, just physical, sexual contacts. All that mattered was Kaito gets to vent out his frustrations by fucking Nanao senseless.“M—Masa-san… ngh… why… why…” Nanao hears those sharp words muttered against his ear and he feels them dig into his chest like a blade stabbed into him. It’s always been like this, too. He should get used to it, Kaito mumbling someone else’s name as he makes a mess of Nanao. But… it was never easy. The pain in his chest grew every time. It just got worse it was killing him. He loved Kaito. He convinced himself he was fine with just being able to do these things with Kaito. He was supposed to be okay with just having sex. He should live up to the title of being a playboy, right? So this was supposed to be fine. And yet the tears that cascaded down his cheeks proved otherwise.Nanao has cried countless times when they do this, it wasn’t new. But these tears weren’t cause of the overwhelming pain or pleasure that overrode him. These were Nanao’s feelings spilling through his eyes.He couldn’t take this anymore. It hurts too much.“K—Kacchan… st—stop…” He manages to say but Kaito seems to not have heard that and continues his wild thrusting “Ha, ah, ah… K—Kacchan! Please! Stop!” Nanao screams, sounding almost desperate even he was surprised.Kaito hears the plea and his hips finally slow down until they come to a complete stop. Nanao whines at the loss of friction. Kaito preps himself up with his elbows to look at his cousin and the other catches the shock in his expression seeing Nanao’s tears “What is it, Nanao?” he pants out.Nanao cups his face and pulls him closer until all Kaito could do was stare deep into his peach-colored orbs. Nanao loved staring into Kaito’s eyes, they reminded him of fire; strong, aggressive, warm. They burn into his skin sometimes it hurts but Nanao accepts the pain if he could stare at those wild, fiery orbs that drive him crazy.“Kacchan…” Nanao pants “Who am I?”“Ha?”“Tell me, Kacchan! Who am I…?” Nanao chokes on his sobs, it was so unusual. Kaito was caught between being worried and comprehending what’s gotten into Nanao to stop him abruptly in the middle of sex just to ask him that stupid question.“What nonsense are you—““Just answer me, Kacchan!” the desperation in his matched the sadness his eyes held. Kaito could see it. Some heavy feeling built up in his chest the moment he notices it staring at his cousin’s eyes.Nanao was hurt.“You’re… Nanao…” Kaito responds, sounding almost unsure.“Yes, Kacchan.” More tears fell from the corner of his eyes, soaking the sides of his hair “I’m Nanao… I’m not Masa-san. I’m not Minato. I’m Nanao. I’m the one you’re fucking right now. I’m the one you’re making a mess of. So, please…” he pauses, closing his eyes as he pulls Kaito’s head closer until their foreheads touched “… call my name. Like you mean it.”Nanao’s voice cracked, he was close to breaking apart and Kaito doesn’t deny the guilt in his chest at the stupid realization. He mentally curses himself, how had he not noticed it before? Nanao had never complained, he never said anything back then, why was he only saying this now? Why was he only reacting like this now? Why was Kaito only seeing all this pain he had inflicted on him now? After all those times…Kaito stares at him for a moment and Nanao dared not to open his eyes until he’s heard the other speak. He was scared, so scared. He never thought about vocalizing what he actually felt but the pain had been bottled up too long and they just started spilling everywhere.Instead, he feels Kaito lean in and the next thing he knew, lips were pressed against his. They were gentle, soft unlike how aggressive Kaito had been just a few minutes earlier. Nanao doesn’t respond to the kiss, just lets Kaito move his lips against his until he feels the other’s tongue licking his lower lip.He doesn’t defy him when Kaito pushes his tongue in, let’s his lips open up to accept the intruder. It takes a few seconds before Nanao finally moves along, his tongue dancing with Kaito’s inside his mouth. Nanao does react between a gasp and a moan the moment Kaito returns to thrusting inside him, mouths still busy kissing each other.Kaito leans away after some time and hovers over Nanao to stare at him, an erotic image is what rewards him; teary eyes practically dilated, lips pink and slightly agape as a streak of saliva drips down his chin, cheeks flushed similar to the color of his hair, sweat and tears made his skin shine from the dim light of the room.Nanao was beautiful. And Kaito wasn’t sure what to feel realizing that now. Had Nanao always looked this beautiful?“K—Kacchan… I’m almost… ha, ah…”“Together… Nanao.”Nanao’s eyes widen slightly as he finally hears his name from the other’s mouth. He nods, hands making their way to Kaito’s back. Nanao comes with a scream, eyes shut close as he feels Kaito fill him up inside like he’d usually do, yet this time, the quite mumble of Nanao’s name against his ear made his stomach flutter.Nanao’s fingers dig into his cousin’s back, leaving scars over old ones he had accidentally done before. Kaito had told him off about it and he kept himself from doing so again but this time, the redhead didn’t mind the pain in his back. *** “Hey.” Kaito calls from the deafening silence of the room. He lay sideways, facing Nanao with his elbow propped up in the pillow to support his head “What was that earlier?”Nanao hums, laying sideways as well to face his cousin “What do you mean?”“You know well what I mean, stop playing dumb.”Nanao giggles, of course he was aware Kaito was going to ask anytime soon. Guess this was now or never, he had already made himself obvious earlier if the desperation in his tone wasn’t noticeable enough.“I just wanted Kacchan to say my name, that’s all.” Nanao replies, hiding his nervousness with his casual smile that always succeeds in annoying Kaito.“Ha? Man, you’re weird.” Was all Kaito concluded.“How about you, Kacchan? What was that kiss earlier?” Nanao then brings up and it succeeds in bringing a blush to Kaito’s cheeks.“I—I was caught up in the moment, okay? It was nothing.” Kaito stuttered, cursing himself for that. Nanao giggles in response.“But I like it.” Kaito looks at him, a bit confused “Because, I like Kacchan.”Nanao feels almost half of the heaviness in his chest dissipate after finally getting that confession out. But there was still this lingering fear in him. But of course, Nanao was ready to accept the consequences of admitting his feelings. Surely, things will be too awkward between them now and Kaito will call off their agreement. This could be the last time they’ll be able to do this.Maybe Kaito will actually stay away from him from now on. It’d hurt Nanao more if that happened. He doesn’t want to be apart from Kaito. He doesn’t want to lose him. But he’d gradually accept whatever Kaito’s choice would be.“What do you mean by that?”“Exactly as I said. I like you, Kacchan. It’s why I agreed to do these things with you.”The look Kaito gave only made Nanao feel even more nervous. Kaito stared at him, wide-eyed before he looks down on the sheets, in the distance between their naked bodies under the covers. He looked confused, unsure what to answer and Nanao didn’t want him to feel the need to reciprocate his feelings. It was natural for Kaito to be confused because they’re cousins. They’re blood relatives, this wasn’t supposed to be something a relative should feel for another relative.“Nanao, I—“Nanao hushes him by pressing a finger against his lips “You don’t have to, Kacchan. I’m happy enough to be able to confess to you like this. But…” he trails off, it was going to sound selfish but he has to try and ask at least “I hope we can stay as we always have. It’s stupid, I know, and very selfish, but I’m already fine with what we have now. Though I guess, this is the end of the agreement.”There was a smile in Nanao’s lips but his eyes contradicted that warmth. His eyes were sad, hurt, Kaito doesn’t deny to himself it pained him seeing that expression. Even if Nanao annoyed him a lot and he tells that being around him was a pain, he still cared for Nanao. They were cousins after all.But was that all?“Ah ~ I’m sleepy! So, good night, Kacchan.” Nanao sings before turning around to face the other direction, intentionally turning his back on Kaito because he couldn’t handle looking at him right now. Nor did he want Kaito to see him crying again. The next day, Kaito wakes up to a cold, empty space beside him. He finds a note from Nanao, however, saying he went ahead to school because he remembered he was asked by a professor to run an early errand. But of course, Kaito knew he just didn’t want to talk to him about last night. He needed to fix this. To clear things up between them.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Kaito arrives at the dojo earlier than usual. Other than his eagerness to begin practice ‘cause he wasn’t going to allow the loss of the previous competition take him down, he also needed to discuss a few important things with Nanao. Specifically, about last night.Entering the dojo, he was expecting it’d be just the two of them but to his dismay, Nanao was already conversing with Seiya as he strung his bow near the changing room across the shajo. Minato greeted him but he ignores the boy he still has a grudge on and walks over to the other two.“Nanao.” He calls for his cousin. Nanao turns to him, an innocent look on his face as if nothing of last night ever happened “Can I talk to you for a sec?”“Ah, no can do, Kacchan. I need to get to practicing, wouldn’t wanna end up like you from the last tournament, you know. I have a reputation to keep.” Nanao declines, not even waiting for Kaito to retort before he walks over to one of the targets and starts his dozukuri. For all Kaito knew, he was probably just finding excuses to not talk about last night. But not like he can’t find a way to bring it up. He had until after school to corner his cousin. Kaito wasn’t going to let it go that easily.Majority of the day, Kaito was sure Nanao was avoiding him. They would usually sit next to each other during lunch but this time, he took Ryohei’s supposed seat next to Minato so Ryohei had to sit next to Kaito and across Nanao. And as they walk to their classrooms, Nanao is usually busying himself talking to either Ryohei or Minato behind him. There never was a time that they walk the halls alone because they’d either be with the whole group or with Ryohei as they go to their classrooms.Kaito assumed they’d have time to talk as they walk to the dojo after classes but when he heads for Nanao’s classroom, his classmate only tells him the boy had gone ahead. If Nanao wasn’t even the least bit obvious now, it would only be if Kaito was stupid—which he’s sure he isn’t.Arriving at the dojo, of course he finds Nanao already busy practicing. He wasn’t even being subtly obvious as he’s the only one in front of the targets at the moment. Kaito met up with Ryohei on the way while Minato and Seiya had just finished getting into their hakamas. It was starting to piss him off. After all that shit Nanao told him last night and now he’s avoiding him? Without even asking about Kaito’s insight on everything! He didn’t even let Kaito choose, he decided on the conclusion by himself without his consent. And that only gets him mad. No way was he going to let Nanao keep avoiding him like this.“Woah, Kaito, what happened to your back?” Ryohei’s tone was filled with shock and a tinge of worry once Kaito was taking off his kyudogi and his scratched back was visible to the people in the room.“Ha? Ah, this?” He turns his eyes to Nanao who was the only person in the room not bothering to glance at him from Ryohei’s exclaim “I must have hit my back against somewhere.” was the excuse he decides to give.“Ah, does it still hurt?”“Nah, I’m fine. It’s nothing.” Ryohei only nods, not wanting to pester anymore because that would usually end up with an annoyed Kaito.“Nanao, what’s that on your neck?” Seiya walks over to Nanao as the boy was about to slip in the sleeves of his uniform. A shiver goes down his back at the feel of Seiya’s hand on the skin by the side of his neck “Is this… a kiss mark?”“Eh? Ah, maybe not. It’s just a bug bite.” Nanao rushes to cover up what it could be but with the way he spoke a little too fast, he was sure Seiya believed otherwise. Not to mention the way his brow raised at him showed no amusement. As expected of Seiya. He finally decides to steal a glance at Kaito and he swore he could see a prideful smirk on his lips.Nanao finishes changing first and he excuses himself out, saying he needed to pass by somewhere before getting home. The other club members bid him farewell as Nanao left the room. Not long, Kaito also rushes out of the changing room.“Nanao, wait!” he hollers, Nanao stopping in his tracks yet he hesitates to turn to Kaito “Where do you think you’re going?”“I already said, I have to be somewhere.” Nanao answers, not bothering to look at him.“Where specifically, then?”“It’s nothing important. Just a date with a girl.”Normally, Kaito wouldn’t mind, scrunch up his nose and tell him to do what he wants for all he cared. But he wasn’t going to have any of that today. Nanao can’t just go and date some girl after messing with Kaito’s head like this—not to mention his feelings.“You think I’ll accept that pathetic excuse?” Kaito yelled, unable to hold back his anger.“It’s not an excuse, Kaccha—ow!” all of a sudden, he feels the taller male pull him by his wrist, causing him to turn so Kaito could grab the other as well and he lets out a yelp of pain as he feels his back slam into the wooden wall of the dojo, hands pinned by the sides of his head. The position forces Nanao to finally look at Kaito and a shiver courses through his veins seeing his fiery eyes; they didn’t hold the same warmth he’d usually feel, they were blazing hot but also very cold. His eyes pierced right into Nanao’s heart, he wonders if it’s bleeding already. An alien feeling invades him, something he never thought to feel from Kaito; fear.So this was the overwhelming power that everyone feels just by seeing him. He finally knows. Or maybe this was different compared to the same fear others feel. Nanao thought he was immune to the feeling because he had seen Kaito get mad at everyone and even at him numerous times but… this felt different. He didn’t know why he’s suddenly struck by this feeling, not that he never felt afraid before, he also did once with Kaito but this was a fear that made him want to cower, hide. Nanao tried to keep a steady face, avoid showing vulnerability, wear that same façade just to not show how much Kaito was affecting him right now.His wrists felt like they’re on fire but he wasn’t sure if it was the tight grip Kaito had or the fact Kaito was holding him there. Being pinned to the wall like this made him feel exposed, naked in front of Kaito’s blazing gaze.
Had it always felt hot in here?
“That hurt, Kacchan. Let go.” Nanao could only say, a weak smile on his lips.“As if I would. After all that bullshit you told me last night! Who the fuck do you think you are?!”“I don’t know what you’re—““Nanao!”Nanao flinches. Kaito’s yell got everyone else to rush out of the changing room, even Masa-san and Tommy-sensei checked in to see what was happening “Kaito, what’s going on here?” Masa-san asks. There was silence. Neither Nanao nor Kaito responded or moved. The cousins continued to stare at each other, red orbs into pink before Kaito mumbles something under his breath only Nanao was able to hear. Despite the sudden throb in his chest, he refuses to falter his gaze. The redhead finally lets go of his wrists—they still burned, but also he felt an ache at the loss of contact—and he doesn’t drop his hands until Kaito had stomped out of the dojo.“Nanao, are you okay?” Ryohei was the one to ask.Nanao lets himself slide against the wall until he’s sitting on the floor. His legs felt like jelly all of a sudden, such an effect only Kaito could do to him—usually in a different way but this was new. Seiya and Ryohei were immediately kneeling by his sides, asking what had happened. The boy kept his head low but Seiya could feel him trembling the moment he laid a hand on his shoulder. This was the first time they had seen Nanao look this vulnerable, so weak. Something was definitely wrong.“S—Sorry, guys.” Nanao manages to let out, hand reaching up to clutch his chest—his heart throbbed like crazy he was worried it was going to explode any longer they stayed like that.“What are you apologizing for? Did you and Kaito fight?” Ryohei asks, concern filled his tone.“Not… really. It’s nothing, Ryohei.” Nanao finally looks up and yet even if he smiled, everyone was convinced otherwise. His smile looked weak, almost as if he was on the verge of tears but tried to keep it in. Seiya knew it all too well.“Can you get up?” Seiya asks.“Yeah. Just let me rest for a bit.” Nanao says.“Do you want me to talk to Kaito?”“No!” Nanao’s response was too quick it made him a little too obvious “N—No. He said he was going to come over tonight. I’ll talk to him later.” He manages to add, assuring his friends he can handle it.“Are you sure? What if Kaito hurts you this time? He looked really mad.” Ryohei insists, remembering Kaito’s angry expression only made him shiver in fear again. He has already hurt me, actually. Nanao thinks.“Yeah, I’m sure. Thanks for the concern, Ryohei. Seiya.” He responds.Seiya was the one who manages to insist Ryohei to trust Nanao’s words. Even if he himself was also unsure if everything was going to be okay, but he decides to leave it all to Nanao. Especially because whatever the problem was, it was something between Kaito and him. This was something out of their range and all they could do was be there in case Nanao needed their support. They are a team after all. They’re friends. They’re family. *** As he had expected, even from a bit of distance, he could make out the figure of his cousin crouched down beside the front gate of their house. Nanao stopped in his tracks, took a few deep breaths and nodded to himself, making up his mind to fix this mess. He knew Kaito wasn’t going to let him go that easily.“Did you need anything, Kacchan?” Nanao asks as he approaches him.“You said you wanted things to stay the way they were.” Kaito mentions whilst Nanao was opening the gate “But here you are, avoiding me as if even looking at me is going to get you killed. What’s your problem?” he points out.Nanao doesn’t speak. More like he doesn’t know how to retort to that because it was true. He was selfish to say he wanted to keep everything as is, but also realizing that even if he tried to do just that, it’d only hurt him more. He wouldn’t be able to handle his feelings, knowing Kaito knew would make things awkward if he clung to him the way he used to.Maybe Nanao was just being too selfish. It was a dumb thing to do. Confessing and then saying all that but then doing the exact opposite after, of course Kaito was going to snap at him.He pushes the gate open and turns to his cousin who just stared up at him from his position. He nods his head, a gesture that meant he was inviting Kaito inside. Kaito stands to his feet and follows after Nanao who went ahead to unlock the front door.Kaito made himself comfortable in the living room floor by the center table while Nanao headed for the kitchen to fix them up some drinks and snacks. It was going to be a long talk between them. It was the first time Nanao felt nervous, a bit uneasy to talk to his cousin. Usually, he was fine opening random conversations or teasing Kaito over his obsession with Masa-san. Yet this time, he can’t even think up of anything to lighten up their mood. It felt so out of his character. After serving the drinks, he takes a seat across the table from Kaito “So, what did you want to talk about, Kacchan?” he proceeds to ask.“What else, about last night, of course!”“Shh, my sister is in her room.” Nanao hushes him, pointing a finger up to indicate the room upstairs “What about last night do you wanna talk about, then?” He adds as he takes a cup of orange juice he had served.“You didn’t even let me speak last night.” Kaito reminds him and Nanao’s hand twitches. He didn’t let Kaito say anything that night because he was scared of the rejection. He already knew he’d be rejected but he didn’t want to hear them out of the other’s lips.“Because I already knew what Kacchan was going to say.” Nanao responds.“As if you have any right to speak for me.” Kaito almost yelled until he was hushed mid-sentence, immediately lowering his tone “And like hell do you know what I was going to say.”“Of course I do. I know you Kacchan. And I know you’re just going to reject me. It’s fine, I understand falling in love with your own cousin is not your style, correct?” Nanao held a smile on his face as he says this and that only pissed Kaito off more.Clicking his tongue, he stands up from his place and Nanao watches him walk over to the other side and the next thing he knew, he was being pinned down on the floor as Kaito hovered about him “Kacchan?”“Who do you think you are to decide that on your own? How dare you dictate my feelings for me when you have no clear idea what they really are.” Kaito managed to say this without the need to yell at him but his expression and the harshness of his tone conveyed his anger.“What—What are you talking about, Kacchan? It’s clear you don’t—““What if I do? What are you going to do about it?”Nanao’s eyes widen hearing this. He was dreaming, right? Kaito wasn’t… telling him he likes him back, right? No, this isn’t true. Kaito hates him. He hates how annoying he is. He hates how much of a playboy Nanao is. He hates how Nanao was almost always right about him, how he can read him so easily like an open book.“What are you talking about, Kacchan? You’re just saying that.” Nanao says and yet Kaito could see the glint of hope in his eyes.“Didn’t you tell me last night? To say it like I mean it? And I do.” Kaito assures him. Nanao gasps silently, keeping his stare at the boy above him. He looked into those fiery orbs to make sure of what Kaito meant and there they were, looking straight at him with the same old warmth he loved. Not only that, there was this weird seriousness in his expression. Something he usually only sees when Kaito was shooting or when he was trying his best to study for an exam or do his homework.“Kacchan…” Nanao was almost ready to cry “I—““Niichan! Niichan! I have to go to a friend’s house! We have a project to—what are you doing?” all of a sudden, Nanao’s sister rushes down the stairs and catches the two in their very position. Yet Kaito showed no sign of moving away.“Uh, nothing, just wrestling like we always do.” Nanao managed to save the situation “You said you were going at a friend’s house?”“Yeah. Don’t expect me until tomorrow, okay? We’ll be working on our project all night. Bye!” not even waiting for a response, his sister rushes out and locks the door.“What a way to kill the mood, huh?” Nanao remarks jokingly.“Well, we’re alone now.” Kaito points out.“We are.”“You were saying something earlier.”“Was I?” Nanao grins.“Tell me.”“You haven’t even told me anything specifically. How would I know what you actually mean?”Kaito clicks his tongue, an obvious blush making it to his cheeks. Nanao loved flustering Kaito, it made his heart skip beats seeing such an adorable reaction from someone who always had such a cool, aggressive demeanor.“Do I really have to say it?” Nanao giggles at the question.“Of course, Kacchan. Say it,” He reaches up to cup Kaito’s face with both hands and pull him close, mirroring what he did last night “I wanna hear you say it, Kacchan. Say it like you mean it.” He whispers, pressing their foreheads together as he closes his eyes.Kaito takes a moment and Nanao feels his heart beat loudly in his chest with anticipation, excitement bubbling inside him he was sure Kaito could feel it from their proximity.“I like you, Nanao.”Nanao exhales a breath he had been holding, it was shaky, sounding as if he was once more in the verge of tears. His breath brushed against Kaito’s already warmed cheeks.“I like you, too, Kacchan.” He smiles, finally opening his eyes to stare once more at Kaito’s blazing red orbs.Nanao doesn’t hold himself back, not anymore. He pulls Kaito in until their lips crash into a messy, hungry kiss. He wanted so badly to kiss him back last night but if he let himself go with the flow, he wouldn’t be able to stop himself. Yet this time, after hearing Kaito’s response to his confession, there was no way he can hold himself back.Kaito’s tongue easily slid into Nanao’s mouth as Nanao’s hands make their way to the other’s hair, contemplating between pulling on it or pushing him to deepen their kiss. Nanao moans into the kiss when he feels a hand ride up his shirt, sliding inside, ghosting against the skin beneath.Kaito’s hand feels so hot yet so good. The feeling bubbled up excitement inside him. Despite the fact they’ve had sex countless times, this was the first time Kaito had ever touched him like this. Normally, he’d go rough, aggressive, rushing everything just to get it over with. But this was different. So different. His touches were soft, gentle. Almost as if he was touching something fragile and precious. Though that wasn’t entirely wrong. Even if Kaito doesn’t admit it out loud, to him, Nanao was the most precious person in his life. He doesn’t know when exactly did he develop these feelings for his cousin, but the moment Nanao confessed to him last night, he was sure of what to answer but Nanao stopped him before he could. He knew Nanao was just scared. Scared to be judged, rejected, laughed at for being able to feel this towards a blood relative. But now, he had no reason to be anymore. Nor did Kaito have any reason to hide his own feelings. This time, he’ll do better. He’ll treat Nanao better. Treat him the way he should be treated; with love and care.
