She’s fighting him, writhing beneath him, fighting the intrusion. He’s pinning her down but deep inside, he KNOWS this is wrong.
But he can’t stop. He can’t. He doesn’t know why but he simply can’t.
Her nails rake his face, his shoulders, his chest…
God, he doesn’t want to hurt her—why won’t she—
And suddenly, she goes limp.
———Clint Barton bolts up in bed in a cold sweat. Panicking, he glances around the dark room. As his eyes adjust to the low light, they come to rest on the digital clock next to him. It’s 1:37 in the morning. The clock is comforting: it’s digital. Which means he’s not there. He’s home. The bedside light goes on and a gentle hand rests on his shoulder. “Nightmares again?” She asks softly. Without thinking, he nods. Laura’s voice is a comfort to him: it cuts through the panic and the terror and the unknown. It brings him home. He turns to look at her—It’s HER. But it’s wrong— she has Laura’s voice but not her face. Laura has straight honey colored hair and brown eyes; this one has curly reddish blonde hair and black eyes—He racks his brain for her name but he can’t find it. No no no “What’s wrong, darling?” She inquires with the tilt of her head. And the face melts into HIS. Green eyes, hair black as night, angular face— “Do you miss me?” He says with a sneer. Clint lunges for his antagonist. He’s larger and his body weight knocks the smaller man back onto the bed. He wraps his hands around the other man’s throat and squeezes. The man—Laughs mockingly. He makes a show of pretending to fight Clint by waving his hands around. “You can’t hurt me, Barton—““I’m goddamn gonna try—“ Barton says through clenched teeth. Then, he sees stars as pain blooms on the back and side of his head. Clint wakes up again moments later on a soft surface—his bed, where he’d fallen. There’s activity. “...hit your father!” “I’m sorry, mommy, he was hurting you!” His oldest son’s tearful voice brings Clint to reality. He rises to his knees, then sits up. His head feels like it was hit by a truck but a broken lamp on the floor suggests otherwise. “Back up, Cooper!” Laura’s panicky voice cuts Clint to his very soul. He shakes his head, clearing his vision. Laura is standing between him and Cooper. Her neck is red and her eyes are swollen and puffy from crying. Cooper is hyperventilating, panicked and backing towards the door. “...Laura?” Clint asks. Laura’s response was to grab the lamp by her side of the bed and launch it at him. He barely dodges it. “Wha—?”“Get out!” Her voice breaks his heart. It’s hoarse from his hands around her neck and full of terror. And he takes it all in. “...oh god…” Laura’s red neck and swollen eyes, the broken lamp, Cooper crying hysterically.“Out!!” Laura has edged to her bedside table and pulled open the drawer. He knows what’s in there: the Colt 1911 he gifted her on their wedding day. He holds up his hands placatingly. “Laura, honey—“ “GET OUT!!” She cocks and aims it and he knows she means business. Without thinking on it further, he rises to his knees and flees the room. In the living room, he grabs his go bag—originally intended for missions—his bow and arrows, his bike keys (“I can’t take the truck, she will need it”)and his boots. He sprints to the garage and throws open the door, guns the bike and tears down the road. Where he’s going, he doesn’t know. But he needs to get himself away from Laura and his children before he hurts them. Or worse.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
The arrow hits home and she sinks to her knees, then slumps to her side.
The pain is intense, so much so that she can’t keep herself from crying out and curling up on herself. She blacks out.
She wakes sometime later. Bleary images fade in and out and a cold hand caresses her face. The images have the same theme: black, green and gold.
“Oh, I can’t wait to see what he does to you,” a sibilant voice whispers as she fades out again.
———Macy Woods sits up on the floor, gasping with tears running down her face. She’s fallen from her bed in her nocturnal thrashing. Terrified, she glances down at her midsection where the arrow had pierced her. The scar is still there. It had missed her liver, lung and aorta but pierced her stomach. It should have been fatal but she had survived. Maybe it was the archer, maybe it was the black haired god’s blessing/curse, maybe it was sheer dumb luck. She wishes she hadn’t, with what she and the archer had to go through. She knew that he hadn’t wanted to do what he had done to her, that it was done for the black haired god’s benefit, but it didn’t change that it had happened and it was still happening in her mind, in her dreams. Macy needs closure. She knows this. The last time she’d seen Clint was just prior to the New York invasion. She’d waited for days. Months. Neither had come back. She’d seen her opportunity and ran without looking back.Nobody had believed her when she’d shown up at a hospital claiming to have been kidnapped by a god. Instead, she’d received a sedative and a stay in the psych ward.Every day since then, she’d constantly looked over her shoulder for the archer and the black haired god.Her fear caused her to never stay in the same place for more than a handful of nights. Now, she bounces around from shelter to shelter, her mental health taking its toll on those she lived with. The constant nightmares, the extreme paranoia, the severe depression… Her best friend had kicked her out when the friend’s daughter had walked in on Macy holding a knife to her wrist, struggling to pull it away or pull it down. She’d been a decorated NYPD officer— then she’d been kidnapped. Her mental instability, plus being AWOL, had caused her to lose her badge and her position. It didn’t matter that she’d had no prior issues. It didn’t matter that she spoke the truth. None of it mattered. What mattered was that she was now a homeless derelict known to NYPD to have mental issues. She’d lost her friends, her family, her stability. There was no way to get that back again. She mulls over her past for a moment and cones to a decision: she needs to find the archer and get her closure. Forgive him for he knew not what he did and all that horseshit. Then she can end it all.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
She’s lying on the bed. She’d been injured but was apparently healed. At least that’s what the god had said.
He sits on the edge of her bed, facing away from her. She stirs.
Clint doesn’t know what he’s supposed to do next. A suggestion worms its way into his head. He doesn’t want to but the suggestion is too strong. He looks over at the god, now known to him as Loki; the god sits himself in a chair across the room with a self satisfied grin.
The suggestion can no longer be resisted. He turns to the now awake woman and cages her upper body with his strong arms, pinning her to the bed.
“Please—don’t—“ she whimpers, her black eyes wide with fright.
“I can’t stop—“ he replies, too low for anyone but her to hear. “He’s too strong—“
“He—?” She hasn’t seen him.
“He likes to watch.” He nuzzles her hair, inhaling her scent.
“I don’t want to—“ she sobs into his neck.
“Neither do I. Please—“ He pleads softly, so softly she can barely hear. “He will kill us.”
Her breath hitches as his hand slides down the outside of her pants to cup her clothed sex. She sees the other man over his shoulder, sitting on a chair with a smirk on his face.
“What’s your name?” The man whispers as he grinds against her.
“M-Macy.”
“I’m Clint.”
———Clint startles awake. He’s in an alley in some podunk town halfway between his place and New York City. He’s wrapped his blanket around himself to keep warm and he’s leaning against his bike. He desperately wants to call Laura, to apologize, to beg her forgiveness. He wants to throw herself at her mercy, even though he knows he doesn’t deserve it. He deserves nothing. He deserves to die. But he has questions that need to be answered first. He has sins to atone for. He needs to find that woman. The one in his dreams. He knows what she looks like and he knows her first name. It’s not much but he’s used less for an investigation. He stands up and stretches. It’s the middle of the night and he doesn’t want to call attention to himself by attempting to start the bike. Besides, the bike is out of gas. He walks it to the gas station, a good mile hike, and prays it’s not a 24 hour station. He has enough money on him for a tank of gas or breakfast and he hasn’t eaten since he left Laura and the kids—about two days. He doesn’t have his phone and he doesn’t have any change for the payphones. He just needs to call Stark or Fury or Steve, or someone to ask for help. Clint reaches the gas station. It’s closed. He makes a calculated decision, hoping he isn’t bad at math: he opts to get breakfast instead of gas. At the McDonald’s down the street, he opts for a cheap biscuit and a jug of tea. Now that he has some change, he hikes back to the gas station, pops some coins in the payphone and and dials a number. SHIELD turns down all collect calls now and Clint is sure it’s because he abused the hell out of that privilege. “Where are you.” Fury’s deadly calm voice is a statement, not a question, and Clint can’t help but feel the disappointment rolling off of the older man. Within a few hours, a bread truck meets Clint at the station. His bike is loaded up into it and Clint flops into the front seat. Fury is driving. He fixes Clint with a hard stare. “What did you do to her.” He’s the only one outside of Natasha who knows he has a family but where Fury acts like a disappointed father, Natasha would probably beat the shit out of him. He’d let her, too. Voice cracking, Clint tells him about the dreams and his time with Loki. He’d told no one else about his captivity except for Laura and even then, he’d left some bits out. “Barton,” Fury says after a few moments. “You need to figure this shit out.” “I don’t know where to start,” Clint respond, his head in his hands. Fury offers him an egg McMuffin. Despite having eaten only the biscuit in two days, Clint turns it down; his stomach is too hollowed over what he’d done to Laura to eat. “I do.”
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
“With your fingers first,” the god directs from his chair a few feet away, with not a small hint of lust. Macy doesn’t remember how her clothes came off but she’s laying naked on the bed.
“I’m so sorry,” Clint whispers, all but crying into her ear as his hand slides into her pants now, to caress the curls at the apex of her thighs. “I—I’m married, I have children—“
Her eyes widen. “He’s...he’s threatened to kill them?”
Clint freezes, then his shoulders slump as his mouth meets her neck. “...yes.”
What a horrible being this god is, to hold this man’s mind and body hostage for whatever depraved ideas... She doesn’t want this contact but she knows one thing: she doesn’t want his family to die. The answer is simple to her: keep them alive. “I’ll help you—“
He presses his forehead to hers in gratitude. His fingers delve into her opening and she gasps, arching her body into him.
He’s gentle, kissing her neck and face as he rubs her clit. She cries out as he slides a large finger, then a second into her, searching for that one spot—
He finds it when she gasps again then arches her body into his. He keeps rubbing it and Macy feels the coil of an impending orgasm in her belly. The heel of his hand begins to put pressure on her clit.
“Say his name, sweetheart—“ Loki’s voice is low and sultry.
As Clint’s fingers stroke her G-spot and his mouth finds her throat, Macy obliges the voyeur by gasping out Clint’s name as she climaxes.
———Macy is halfway into a fifth of jack when the feeling of foreboding creeps over her. It passes with the rumble of a bread truck on the road besides her, which drives through a puddle and splashes her. She adjusts the hood on her head and her backpack and stands up, stumbling. She chucks the bottle at the truck and misses, irate for it for the splashing, and staggers down the sidewalk, wet, chilled and annoyed. She’d come to this town to get away from NYC and the cops there. She’d only been here a few weeks, just to clear her head and figure out how to proceed. She’s got to figure how to find Clint. She’s a cop, not a detective. Well, not even a cop anymore. She doesn’t know where to start so she starts at the stereotypical spot: the town library. She checks out a computer and googles “Clint archer” and comes back with random men named Clint Archer. She tries “Archers named Clint” and gets slightly better results. She scrolls past hunters and athletes and is on her second page when she spots him in an old article.
Waverly, IA
Local hunter Clinton Francis Barton shoots record breaking buck.
Macy snorts at the middle name and scans through the article. Clint is standing besides a large buck with a self satisfied look on his face. He is considerably younger and Macy notes that the article is almost thirty years old. She finishes the article. There’s one more, a more recent one. It’s showing Clint, along with Captain America, Black Widow, Thor and the other heroes of the attack on New York City a little more than a year ago. Clint’s last name is Barton. She sneakily prints off the article and grabs it off the printer before the bored library attendant can comment on needing a quarter for the copy. She dashed out of the library and down the street. She’s got to get back to New York City but she doesn’t know how. She had hitched rides and offered up herself as payment, not caring how dangerous it was and halfway hoping that the guy who’d picked her up was some sort of serial killer. But now she has a half assed reason to live: finding Barton. She sticks out a thumb to hitch a ride back to New York City. The bread truck she threw the empty fifth at probably an hour ago pulls over and Macy, never one to look a gift horse (or truck) in the mouth, climbs in. She’s hoping the incident is forgotten. The man driving is a quandary: he looks like he should be working for a government agency and not driving a truck. He is dark skinned, bald and has a patch over his left eye. He’s wearing a trench coat and Macy is immediately wary of him. She doesn’t feel that he would hurt her, she just feels that he is a powerful and potentially dangerous man. Still, she climbs into the truck and puts on her seatbelt. “Where are you going, young lady?” “New York City.” “What a coincidence, that’s where I’m headed! What’s your name?” The man asks as he shifts the truck into a higher gear. “Macy.” The man tenses. “Got a last name to go with Macy?” “None that you need to be concerned with,” Macy says, more snippy than she should have been. “Well then, Macy, I’m Jay.” Jay holds out his hand and Macy looks at it like one would a snake. She shakes it hesitantly. “Where in the Big Apple are you going?” “I’m...not entirely sure,” Macy says. She’s still reading the article, scanning for clues besides “New York City”. Unbeknownst to her, Jay sneaks a peek. His hands tighten on the wheel as he speaks: “May I make a suggestion?” “Certainly.” “New York City isn’t where you want to be.”
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
She climaxes onto his hand and Clint laps it up like a cat does milk. He licks his fingers under the compulsion and hates himself.
He desperately wants to wake up and realize this is all a dream and it’s Laura under his hands, moaning his name.
He’s painfully hard but he’s not allowed to alleviate the discomfort; he can’t touch her like that. Not until Loki has had his fill. He can’t even touch himself right now.
The god rises from his seat and approaches; Clint can see his erection straining his trousers or pants or whatever the fuck he calls them. The god straddles Macy’s thighs and rubs his clothed cock along her opening. “You prepared her well, my friend—“
Macy fights back. Clint had not had to restrain her but once Loki leans down to run his tongue along he jawbone, it’s clear that Loki would have to take a different approach. She rakes her nails down his face with a scream, leaving long red marks. Loki hisses in pleasure. “You’re a fighter, you little minx!”
“Get off me! I said NO!” One of her flailing hands manages to backhand Loki lightly but he growls and grabs both of her wrists. He pins her down and grins wickedly.
“Oh it’s not about what you want, child—“ Macy cries out and struggles beneath him. She continues to lash out and Loki flips her onto her stomach.
Clint is powerless to stop, having been told subliminally to not move from his spot until bidden and disobedience would result in his family’s death.
He watches with internal horror as Loki wrenches Macy’s arms behind her and pins her down with one hand, then drops his pants and plunges his cock into her at a brutal pace.
He climaxes into her, then collapses over her, mouthing at the sobbing woman’s neck and shoulders.
Clint desperately wants to go to her, apologize and just get her out of there.
But he can’t.
He can’t even move.
Loki dresses and leaves the woman dripping his seed on the bed, bidding Clint to follow him out the door.
He locks it behind him.
———“No. No no NO no NO.” “Yes, Barton. You have to talk to them.” Fury drags Clint out of the truck like a father would a petulant child and leads him up the walk. It’s a tiny little house in the sticks but it’s private and the occupants want that privacy. Doctor Bruce Banner is sitting on the front stoop wearing a robe and sunglasses—and ONLY a robe and sunglasses. He’s drinking a large cup of what Clint hopes is tea. “Hello there. Come to convince me to save the day again?” “Nope, just your friend.” Before either man could respond, Natasha Romanoff storms out of the house and goes straight for Clint. She lands a hard, open palmed slap on his cheek. “You son of a BITCH!! How could you do that to her?!” Clint holds his hands up in a defeated gesture and Natasha slaps him again. Banner’s eyes narrow at Clint and his demeanor changes from jovial to solemn. “I see. Welp, come inside, not like I have anything better to do.” Clint follows Banner inside and is followed by a seething Natasha and the door closes behind her. “Wait, what about you?”“This is your battle, Barton. I’ve set you on the path.” Fury turns and waves. “Good luck; you are welcome back when you sort yourself out.” He walks Clint’s bike out of the bread truck, starts the truck and is gone before Clint could say another word. “So what’s going on?” Banner asks after he’s thankfully put on slacks and a shirt. If looks could kill, Natasha would have Clint on his tenth life now. “I’ve got it under control—“ Nat opens her mouth but Bruce slams his hands down onto the coffee table and Clint swears he sees a flash of green cross the man’s face. Bruce looks...pissed off.“Clearly you don’t or you wouldn’t be here!” Banner’s voice volume raises somewhat. “What happened that some woman calls me and claims you hurt her?!” “What—“ Clint’s heart drops into his stomach. “Yeah, someone named Laura—she called me begging for help for you.” Banner points an accusatory finger at Barton. “You hurt someone and you got some damn nerve showing up here—“ Clint’s breathing evens out somewhat. “Laura is my wife.” Banner’s eye twitches. “THAT DOESN'T MAKE THIS—Wait, you’re married?!”“Yeah. Two kids, too.” Banner puts his face into his palm. “So let me get this straight: you choked out your wife?!” “It’s...it’s a long story.” “You’d better tell me before the Hulk breaks loose. He’s pissed.” It’s no idle threat. He turns to Nat. “You knew?! How could you keep something like this from me?!” Nat does not even look regretful over having kept this from anyone. “He asked me to keep it a secret.” “How many other people knew?!” “Just me and Fury. Now you.” So Clint relates what he thinks happened in his captivity under Loki. “...and I think I hurt someone. I think I hurt her real bad. I think I raped her.”Bruce looks horrified. He’s speechless for a few moments, working his jaw like a fish. Nat looks fit to murder (but she usually does). Then Bruce finds his voice. “Wow...um… you’ve got a lot to unpack.” Clint puts his head in his hands. “I don’t even know where to start. I’ve been having nightmares frequently—Laura is the only one who knows about them. The other night, in my dream, she was that woman—I think her name is Macy—and then she melted into Loki and I thought I was choking out Loki. Cooper dropped a lamp on my head and when I actually woke up, Laura threw me out.” Nat launches into spy mode. “First thing: it sounds like you need to find this Macy woman. Do you have a last name?”“No.” “General description?”“Reddish wavy hair, black eyes, medium height and average build.”“Anything to make her stand out? Like tattoos?” “No.” Bruce hums. “Okay. So we're looking for a medium height woman with an average build with reddish wavy hair and black eyes. The eye and hair color combo is pretty rare so that’s a start.” “I’ve gone on less,” Nat waves flippantly. “Wait—I’ve got to do this one on my own.”“Like hell you do,” Nat bites out. “You went through that shit, didn’t tell anyone what you went through and now you and Laura are having ‘issues’—“ said with sarcastic finger quotes— “and you don’t think we can help??” Clint smiles inwardly. Natasha is probably about half his size but she could take care of herself. She’d already proven that when she knocked him out on the carrier. “...thank you, Nat.” “Right now, you need to rest, to chill out and just...breathe for a little bit. You’ve been through a lot.” Nat motions to the couch. It’s the middle of the afternoon but Clint would swear he just closed his eyes for a moment. He’s asleep in seconds on Banner’s couch.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
“His name is Loki; he’s a god,” Clint whispers during the next session into her ear, pretending to nip at it.
“Why are you telling me this but you can’t stop it?” Her face when he’d seen her this morning had broken his heart and soul. She’d shield away from him and he’d had to pin her to the bed.
“It’s subliminal, I think. I can’t resist his demands.” Clint switches sides and traces his mouth down her cheek.
“Use your tongue this time! I want her well prepped for me.” Loki calls from across the room.
Clint moves to obey; his eyes find Macy’s face. There’s an apology on his lips but Macy’s wide eyes give him pause. Under the guise of preparing her for whatever Loki wants done, he traces his tongue between her breasts to meet her lips.
He can’t continue. His body stops.
And he senses Loki’s incoming wrath as he stands. Images of his wife and children dead at this maniac’s hands flood his vision.
Before either male could do anything, Macy’s hushed voice locks him face to hers. “Pretend I’m your wife. Pretend I’m her!”
“I—“
“Do it for her!” Macy hisses, tears in her eyes.
Clint nods, fighting back his own tears. He does as he is compelled and kisses his way to the junction of her thighs. He finds the sensitive bundle of nerves and tweaks it gently with his tongue; Macy rewards him with a lascivious moan.
He presses his mouth to her clitoris and nips at it with his teeth, then begins tweaking it with his tongue. Macy’s hands find his head and she holds him there, arching her hips to meet his face.
That familiar coil begins to wind itself up again in her core and Macy begins panting, gripping what she can of Clint’s short hair.
Loki’s salacious grin is missed by the two of them, but his voice is not. “He makes you feel good...why not let him know it?”
With a flattening of his tongue, she cums hard against Clint’s face, gasping out his name.
———Jay turns the truck around. They’re heading north now. Macy is worried. “Um—“ “I know who you are, Macy,” Jay rumbles. “I know you don’t know me but I know who you’re looking for.”The hair on the back of Macy’s neck rises and she’s unsettled. “Who are you, again?” “Nicholas J. Fury. That article in your hand isn’t going to name me but I know Clint Barton and I know you’re looking for him.” Macy’s eyes narrow. “And you can tell...why?” “He’s looking for you, too.” Macy is seriously considering jumping from the truck. He’s going 65; if she tucks and rolls and covers her head, she might live. She tries to edge towards the door. “That’s a bad idea, ma’am. You won’t survive that.” Fury extends an egg McMuffin in her direction. “A peace offering. We have a lot to discuss.” Macy accepts the egg McMuffin warily. She’s hungry, having eaten a bag of crackers she bought from the gas station from a 20 she found on its floor. “Clint isn’t out to hurt you, I promise,” Fury says gently. Macy finishes the McMuffin and pulls an old water bottle out of her bag. She swigs it—it’s just water—and puts it back in her bag. Fury offers her another sandwich—a biscuit this time—and she downs that one too. She believes him but only somewhat; Clint never willingly wanted to hurt her. But he still did. “Before we go to find Barton, we have a stop to make.” Several hours later finds them in the middle of nowhere, pulling up to a farmhouse. There’s lights on and a pick up truck backed up to the door. It’s loaded with suitcases. “Wait here.” Fury leaves the truck and walks towards the farmhouse. A woman comes out onto the porch. She’s tiny, with straight, light colored hair. Two children, probably late singles or early doubles, peek out from behind her. There’s a boy and a girl. Fury’s conversation is muffled. The woman is frightened but resolved. Fury turns and walks toward the truck. “She’s agreed to see you,” he says on opening the door. “Who—?” “Clint’s wife, Laura Barton.”And Macy feels like throwing up the sandwiches she ate earlier. She’s never felt more judged sitting in Laura Barton’s living room. Laura is on the couch across from her in the living room, an unreadable look on her face. “So you and my husband…?” Macy flinches at her tone. “...yes.” “What happened.” A statement, not a question. Macy glances over at Fury, who is sipping “tea” out of a play cup with Laura’s and Clint’s daughter. “I...I don’t know if the kids…” Laura glances over at Fury and makes eye contact; the older man escorts the children out of the room, asking to see their bikes and the cool hiding spots on the property. Once they are gone, Macy leans forward and puts her head in her hands. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. I didn’t want to—“ Laura’s voice gets harder. “Did he hurt you?” “He didn’t want to. The other guy made him.” Now Laura becomes inquisitive. “The other guy?” “Loki, I think that’s what his name was.” Macy shudders after uttering it. “How?” “I’m not sure. Before Loki stole his voice, Clint told me that he couldn’t stop and that he didn’t want to but he couldn’t fight Loki’s compulsion.” Macy wants to just die right on the spot. “Did you fight back?” “Against Clint? No.” Macy shakes her head. “If Clint didn’t...um...do what Loki compelled him to do, Loki would hurt Clint.” “How?” Macy sniffles. “The most common was to threaten you guys’s lives and then Clint’s and mine.” She looks up at Laura, expecting the worst. Instead, Laura’s eyes are wide with horror. “My god…” “That wasn’t the only thing…” Macy wants it out in the open. She deserves to know that it wasn’t Clint’s fault, that Clint didn’t deserve what had happened to him. “What else?” Laura’s shuddering voice makes Macy want to stop telling this to spare her the worst that it yet to come. Then the other woman does something surprising: she gets up, comes over to Macy and wraps her arms around her. Macy breaks down into body wracking sobs. “Tell me.”
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
“She’s so good, she feels so good—“ The god rears his head back as he slides into her—and not the entrance Clint was at earlier. He has swiped some of Macy’s essence downwards and lifted her hips for easier access. Macy is still on her back and Loki is watching her face as he thrusts in.
Clint is to the side this time; he has one hand on her throat and another slowly pumping his cock. She’s utterly terrified but that’s what the god wants and he can’t stop it.
She’s gripping his wrist and arm with both hands, eyes pleading silently for him to stop this.
He can’t. His body won’t let him.
He knows he’s saying something over and over in his head, but he doesn’t know what. All he knows is that he’s supposed to keep her from moving away.
The god has taken his voice; Clint can’t talk to Macy, he can’t calm her, he can’t distract her while the god is pounding into her anus. He’s so powerless and he can’t make it stop.
And for that, he wants to die.
Loki cums with a gasp and a cry and empties himself into Macy. He collapses over her, kissing the front of her neck while the woman sobs from the pain.
Clint remembers Loki demanding that he force open her mouth and plunge his cock into it. He does so and after a couple of strokes, he’s tumbling over the edge. He sees stars as he cums.
Loki pulls out from the woman but bends over her, smoothing back her hair as Clint explodes down her throat and she gags.
“Such a good girl—“ Loki purrs into her ear. “I can’t wait to see how you take both of us…”
———Clint wakes up on Banner’s couch. It’s uncomfortable but it’s better than an alley or jail. Banner is sitting in a chair across the living room from him. “You were having a nightmare. Macy again?” “Yes.” Clint sits up with his head in his hands. “What happened?” “I couldn’t stop— Loki was too strong.” He grips his hair as if to rip it out of his scalp, then stands up and paces. “I think he made me do things to her. I don’t know what; everything’s fuzzy.” “What do you remember?” Banner presses gently. “Her crying out, me sliding into her, her begging me to stop…” Clint is pacing, wishing he could have a cigarette or a a drink. “Loki smiling, Loki’s hands all over her—all over me—he did such fucked up shit to us-her—“ As he begins to hyperventilate, Natasha slides in besides him. She takes his hand and squeezes encouragingly, then guides him to sit besides Bruce on the couch. Bruce doesn’t touch Clint, but leans in. “Part of healing is acknowledging what happened, Clint,” he says quietly. “Not just to her but you as well. Neither of us are going to judge.” “H-he—“ Clint swallows and tries again, but he can’t say it. “He did the same things to you as he did to her,” Natasha says, quietly and knowingly. Clint nods, eyes filled with shame. “I’m sorry, Clint.” Natasha pats his hand. “We’re going to help you through this. There’s nothing to be ashamed of and getting it off your chest will help you heal.” “But what about—“ “Don’t worry about Macy for now. Right now, you have things to say and you should say them,” Bruce says encouragingly. Clint shudders again and Natasha gives him a comforting smile. “I…” “You’re among friends,” Bruce reminds him gently. “We aren’t going to judge—not you, anyways.” “...okay.” And Clint relays what he’s told to no one, not even Laura.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
It’s always the same over the next few sessions: Loki in her anus, Clint in her canal.
And as always, Clint is voiceless.
Macy is sobbing from the excruciating pain in her back entrance as Loki lifts himself off of her. He motions Clint to stand between Macy’s spread open legs. “It’s your turn, my friend… you get the other hole.” He reaches around Clint’s side and grasps his spent cock and rubs it to life once more. He lines Clint up with Macy’s entrance and guides him in; Clint lets out a shuddering sigh and he falls forward onto Macy in pretense of pleasure.
His thrusts are hesitant and Macy can feel his tears on her neck as he thrusts in. He buries his head into her neck and Macy’s soul leaves her body.
She watches as she goes limp, spacing out as Loki bends her head backwards and thrusts his hard cock into her mouth while pinning her wrists t the bed.
She wants to die.
She knows Clint can’t stop but she silently begs him to anyways.
Clint’s hips begin to stutter as she watches from out of her body.
She regains herself just as Loki climaxes down her throat and Clint cums in her canal. Loki rips his cock out of her mouth, causing her to splutter and gag.
Clint is motionless for a moment as he empties himself into her. As he softens, he withdraws from her, petting her hair and allowing his tears to moisten her cheeks. He can’t say words but somehow Macy knows he’s sorry, that he’ll never forgive himself.
———“He’s told me he’s had nightmares but he never said how bad,” Laura says gently. “He never said what exactly happened there.” Macy sniffles, blowing her nose into a tissue. “Loki did horrible things to both of us, but h-he saved the worst for Clint.” Laura gasps and tears filled her eyes. “Clint didn’t want to do what he did to me but he couldn’t stop it,” Macy sobbed. “Loki would make him watch Loki raping me—or make me watch whatever he did to Clint—and it just didn’t stop—“ Laura sat next to Macy on the couch and wrapped her arms around the crying woman. “It’s okay, he can’t hurt you anymore—“ “Clint never willingly hurt me—“ Macy scrubbed at her eyes with the heels of her hands. “It was always Loki—always him that hurt me or made Clint do things to me—“Laura’s hands are shaking as she hands Macy a box of tissues. “H-he told me about you, about how much he loved you, how he didn’t want to do what he was doing—“ Macy says with no small amount of grief. “That was before Loki took his voice.”She looks up at Laura. Laura is crying freely now. “I need you to know that he tried to fight, he tried to stop and then—and then Loki hurt him. Loki assaulted him for trying to stop what he was doing to me.” The box of tissues falls to the floor. Laura gasps and covers her mouth, stifling a sob. “W-why didn’t he say anything?!” Macy takes a deep breath. “As a cop, I’d get men who were sexually assaulted but refused to say anything. He may be ashamed, may feel like it makes him a different person…” Laura wraps her arms around herself and sinks to the floor. “Oh, Clint, baby, my god—“ Macy just wants to hug the woman. It’s her fault for bringing such awful news. Instead, she buries her head in her hands. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, he tried to stop it—“ Laura wraps her arms around Macy and just holds her to her chest. “Thank you. Thank you for telling me. Thank you for reassuring me. Just...thank you.” “He’s a good man,” Macy says before she can stop herself. “He is.” Laura holds Macy for few moments in silence, allowing her to cry out her grief for Clint and her relief that she had been heard and supported. Macy accepts the comfort with a smile.“I do have to ask you something, though,” she says as she gently pulls away from Laura. “Anything.” “Is his middle name really Francis?”
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Now he’s pinning her to the bed with his body. This time, she’s belly down on the bed. The god wants him to hurt her. Slap her, choke her, mark her.
He can’t warn her; Loki had taken away his voice again.
He doesn’t want to hurt her. He doesn’t want to do anything to her. He just wants to go home.
But the god had said: “What reason do you have to fight if you don’t have a home to go to?” The threat was there: do what I say or your family is dead.
She’s crying beneath him, sobbing and begging him to stop. He slaps her and she cries out.
She never fights him. She refuses to fight him beyond sobbing and pushing away from him afterwards.
He bends down and mouths something in her ear, something he doesn’t remember now. Her begging stops but her tears don’t. He stands up and tangles a hand in her shoulder length burnished gold hair. He presses his groin against her buttocks but does not penetrate, waiting for Loki’s go ahead.
Loki grins at his quarry then nods at Clint, who roughly yanks back Macy’s head. Loki approaches her and grabs the side Clint doesn’t have a grip on and shoves his cock into Macy’s mouth. She lets out a muffled sob.
Eons and several prayers to multiple gods but the one raping the woman beneath him, Loki climaxes in Macy’s mouth. He withdraws, leaving her to gag and cough, then nods at Clint.
And he can’t fight it: he slides in. If it were Laura, it would feel like heaven.
This needs to stop, but he can’t make it stop. Loki’s compulsion is too strong.
“Don’t you want to see her cum?” Loki asks silkily, running one hand up Clint’s side.
Powerless against the god, he pulls out and puts Macy on her back. She’s still crying and he frames her face with his hands. She opens her eyes and stares into his then nods with understanding. He presses in gently as she lays back and accepts it.
Loki’s hands are not idle: he’s reaching around, stroking, groping, teasing. Clint’s reaction is not what he wants it to be and if it were his wife doing those things, he’d be more amenable.
But it’s not and now one of Loki’s hands is between his buttocks, going lower. With a hand to the middle of his shoulder blades, Loki pushes Clint forward to top of Macy. His fingers find Clint’s anus and begin teasing and probing.
Macy somehow knows what’s going on and despite the trauma she is going through, she takes Clint’s face in her hands and whispers: “Look at me, see me, look at my face, my eyes, look at ME—I’m here, I’m not letting go—“
As Loki presses the head of his cock to the tight ring of muscles, then pushes in, Clint momentarily loses control, gripping Macy’s hips hard enough to bruise. Clint’s conscience leaves his body and he watches helplessly from above.
Her voice cuts through the fog. “—here, look at me, it’s okay, I’ve got you—“ He hangs onto Macy’s words. “It’ll be over soon—“
It’s her words that get him through the hell he is experiencing.
It’s not the first time and wouldn’t be the last time that Loki claimed Clint that way.
———Clint leans forward, clasping his hands and resting his arms on his knees. Now they know. They know what happened to him. Not only the atrocities he committed but the ones committed upon him. Clint is a believer in karma: what he does to someone will be done to him. And he is adamantly convinced that he deserved what had happened to him for the wrongs he had committed in this lifetime. Clint is fully prepared to be rejected; growing up in a country town, the bedroom actions between a man and another man were against everything he’d been taught. He was raised to believe that those actions were to only take place between a man and a woman and only for the act of conceiving a child. Laura had convinced him that those ideas were pure and utter bullshit, but deep down inside, he still believes that sex with a man is not for him. He is not prepared for what Bruce does next. Doctor Bruce Banner, alias Hulk, sits in front of Clint on the coffee table. “Look at me, Clint.” Clint does. “It’s not your fault.” And Clint blinks. “You didn’t deserve what happened to you. You’re a victim in this, too.” “But I raped someone—!” “That’s exclusive of this,” Natasha says carefully. “What you need to know now is this regardless of your actions towards this Macy, you did not deserve what happened to you.” Clint is unsure of how to feel about what was said but on some level, he feels relief.“I’ve been there,” Natasha says quietly. “I’ve felt what you’re feeling and I’ll tell you it takes time for it to go away. But acknowledge what was done to you and it’ll help you.” Clint smiles wanly. “...thank you, guys.” “Now we need to find Macy,” Bruce pipes up. “She’s probably going through the same nightmares and trauma you’ve been going through.” And at that precise moment, Natasha looks down at her phone. “Oh hey, look at that. Fury found Macy. Convenient.” Clint isn’t sure he’s ready to see her but he knows he needs to take this step. “Where is she?” Natasha pales. And Bruce knows. “She’s at Clint’s house, isn’t she.”
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
This session, Loki pushes Clint’s head past Macy’s should so she’s looking up at him past Clint’s shoulder. Clint bites down on the first thing to come into contact with his mouth, which happens to be Macy’s shoulder. She cries out and Clint fights back a scream.
Loki pins Clint’s head down thrusts deep into the taller man. After several minutes of pure agony, he climaxes into Clint with a gasp and a groan. He pulls out and Clint—
—comes to his own finish inside Macy. She feels his tears coming down his cheeks and she’s not sure what hurts more: Clint biting down on her shoulder or watching him be assaulted.
Loki pulls Clint off and out of Macy. He watches as Macy lays on the bed, dripping both men’s issue from between her legs. He kneels between her legs and swipes his tongue from her dripping anus to her clit, lapping up any spend along the way. “Now it’s your turn, my dear.”
Clint knows what he’s supposed to do but he can’t move. Loki turns to him and glares and Clint falls to his knees, head in his hands.
Macy sits up. “Stop it! Leave him alone.”
Loki startles, as if not expecting his prey to fight back verbally, then turns to her. “Do you want what he’s having? Because I can arrange that.”
In response, Macy launches herself at the god, not caring if it was an exercise in futility.
She may as well have collided with a brick wall. Loki releases his mental hold on Clint and turns to Macy and Macy realizes she about to face the full fury of a god.
She doesn’t care. She’s been through too much in the last few—days? Weeks?—to care. She comes at Loki again, her momentum bearing him to the floor, and wraps her hands around his throat.
Loki’s response is immediate and before Macy can respond, he lifts her hips and slides her down onto his cock. She cries out as he grabs her wrists and wrenches them painfully off his neck. “Oh you’re going to pay for that. But first—“
A pair of hands slides up her buttocks and Clint is on her. He pushes her down and spreads her cheeks, pushing himself inside. Once he’s fully seated, he twists Macy’s right arm behind her back and lifts her up against his broad chest. He reaches around with his left hand and wraps it around her throat.
Macy can’t see his face. She doesn’t know that Clint is fighting Loki in his head for control of his actions and losing. She just knows that her lower half feels so incredibly full and it hurts.
Loki pins Macy’s other hand to her side and rests his hand on her hip to hold her in place. He fucks up into her as Clint holds her in place. Loki’s eyes flash and Clint moves into her.
“Come on, sweetheart, don’t hold out on us—“ The god presses a thumb to Macy’s clit, rubbing and tweaking it just right. Soon she’s fighting tears and her climax; she doesn’t want to give Loki the satisfaction of it.
Macy hears Clint grunt and feels him shudder against her; he thrusts into her faster and that sends her over the edge she’d been fighting to keep away from. She lets out a pained cry and arches her back against him as he climaxes into her with a gasp.
Loki bucks up and cums with a harsh moan, holding Macy in place as he empties himself into her.
Macy blacks out and Clint holds her against him until Loki is finished.
“She took us so well, don’t you think?” Loki strokes Macy’s face as Clint lifts the semi conscious woman off of him and lowers her to the floor.
I don’t want to hurt her, Clint thinks. I want this to stop. It should never have started.
“But we had fun, didn’t we?” Loki traces a finger up Clint’s arm. “I think you might be my favorite.”
Clint shudders inwardly as Loki pulls him in for a kiss. He can’t pull away and the god’s soft lips envelope his own.
———Clint runs to his bike, heedless of Natasha and Bruce calling after him. He makes sure his bow is on his back. He doesn’t know what to expect. Macy is his victim, his past coming back to haunt him. He did such horrible things to her—He’s speeding down the highway towards his home, his wife, his kids—His mind is filled with desperation: please, not Laura, don’t hurt my soul mate, please don’t hurt my children, please please please—It’s a long trip. He has to fill up twice. All the while, he’s praying Laura and his children will be alright. Just a little longer, guys, just a little longer. He cuts off the bike in the driveway. The house is dark, just like the sky. It’s past sunset and he is absolutely terrified. But not for himself, for Laura and Cooper and Lila. He’s silent as death coming up the stairs to the front of the house. He pulls out his bow and nocks an arrow. He doesn’t want to hurt Macy—But he doesn’t want Macy to hurt his family. The living room is dark and it’s silent. He hears muffled noises from the kitchen. It sounds like screaming. He draws the bow and lines himself against the wall next to the kitchen, then leans out.Macy and Laura——are playing Trouble with Cooper and Lila. Apparently Laura is losing. Clint is, to put it mildly, confused as to what Macy is playing at. Softening everyone up so they trust her? He doesn’t know. He walks into the kitchen, bow drawn, aiming for a spot under her right breast. It won’t be immediately fatal but it’ll neutralize her and give him time to get his family to safety—Everyone looks up at him with wide eyes and for a split second, nobody moves. Then the kitchen is a flurry of activity: Laura and Cooper stand up, knocking game pieces everywhere, Lila happily screams out “Daddy!” And Macy throws up her hands in a submissive gesture. Laura stands between Clint and Macy as Cooper drags his sister out of the room. “Clint, baby—“ “Laura, please—I’ll explain—just get out of the way.” “Clint—!” Macy hasn’t moved and her hands are still up. “You’re not going to come here and hurt my family—“ Clint is shaking for fear of his family coming to harm. He’d irreparably injured this woman and now it might cost him everything. “Your fight is with me, leave my family out of it!” Laura takes a deep breath. “Clinton FRANCIS Barton!” Everyone turns to look at the diminutive woman in shock. “PutthatbowDOWNorsohelpme—!” Laura sounds pissed. She stands in front of Macy protectively. “She’s told me everything.” Clint lowers his bow, eying Macy with an apology to Laura on his lips. Laura wraps her arms around him. “I’m so sorry.” The bow clatters to the floor as Clint wraps his arms around his wife. Macy doesn’t move. “I had to tell her, Clint. I’m sorry.” “I-I’m sorry too. I didn’t want to hurt you—“ Macy gives him a wan smile. “I know you didn’t. It was Loki. It was always Loki. It wasn’t ever you.” Laura holds Clint to her as he buries his face into her hair for several more moments; Macy looks on awkwardly. She slides towards the back door, grabbing her backpack, and is outside before she intrudes further on the intimate moment. She walks silently out into the dark, not sure where exactly she is or where she’s going or how she’s going to get somewhere. But she knows this: she no longer wants to die. She feels both vindicated and absolved and hope Clint feels the same way. She’s happy for Clint and Laura; she never had any type of romantic feelings for Clint and she didn’t think she would ever. She’s not sure what she’s going to do next as she walks down the dark driveway but she hopes she doesn’t attract a bear or another predator. Headlights come down the driveway. Macy keeps walking. It’s Fury, still in the bread truck. “You want a ride?” “Sure.” Macy climbs into the truck and puts on her seat belt. “That was a brave thing you did, Miss Macy,” Fury says solemnly. “Yeah, well, Laura deserves to know that her husband was a victim.” Macy shrugs. “He did what he did under duress.” “You reassured Laura that her husband isn’t a rapist and that the father of her children is a good man with a good heart.” Fury turns from the driveway onto the main road. “What are you going to do now?”“I don’t really know,” Macy says. “I know that I can’t be a cop again ever because of the way I was thrown out of the NYPD but I don’t feel like hurting myself anymore. I guess I’ll get off in some podunk town and start over.” “I’ve looked in your file, Miss Woods,” Fury says. “You were an outstanding officer for the few years you were on the force. Highly decorated, smart as a whip, good under pressure.” Macy can’t help but blush under the praise. “Yeah, but none of that matters because of my discharge.” Fury stops at the light and turns his eye towards her. “How would you like a job?”
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Clint looks up, not sure how long he’d been holding Laura.
Macy is gone. “Where…?”
“You’ll find her eventually,” Nick Fury is next to him and Laura and both jump.
“Where have you been hiding?!” Laura yells.
“Went upstairs to use the bathroom before you guys started playing then when the kids come upstairs, I kept them up there, just in case.” Fury motions to Cooper and Lila coming down the stairs. “And now I believe I will head out. Let you all reconnect, plan your future, all that jazz.”
Clint holds out a hand and Fury clasps it. “Thanks, boss.”
Fury smiles. “It worked out in the end: you are not who you thought you were in captivity.” He pumps Clint’s hand once. “You’re on two weeks leave. See you when you get back, Barton.”
“You too, Fury.”
Fury turns and climbs into the bread truck.
Clint bends down and kisses Laura passionately.
Two months later, Clint finds Macy at SHIELD headquarters, working for HR in counseling. She politely refuses to counsel him based on their mutual past but refers him to an excellent therapist.
Macy is the third person he texts about Laura’s pregnancy, the first being Fury and the second being Nat.
Macy is delighted; she lives vicariously through them and others, having politely refused any person’s advances. She elects to focus on bettering herself and works for SHIELD now. She’s still getting used to the flow but she’s doing wonderfully, according to Maria Hill.
When Clint goes on missions, his second call is to Macy, who helps out Laura out with maintaining the farm and helping Cooper and Lila with homework and Nathaniel with usual toddler stuff.
Neither really discuss their escape from Loki, which was sheer luck: Loki and Clint had left to introduce the Chitauri into the world and neither had come back. Macy was literally alone; she had just...walked out of wherever she was and hitchhiked back to New York City.
After the schism and disbanding of SHIELD, Macy had went underground. She’d sided with Clint and Captain America and was branded a criminal; she had fled to Europe and remained in the anonymity of London for a few years.
Then she disappeared again. Fury is gone as well.
Along with Clint’s family.
Nat tells him that half of humanity is gone.
Clint can’t accept that. He’d just gone into retirement—for real this time—and then everything went to hell again.
He suits up, telling himself he will find his family again, and leaves home to look for them.
And disappears into the night.
