Ah.Dazai hears familiar footsteps come closer and opens his eyes when the figure blocks the bright sunlight that would have blinded him otherwise. He meets blue eyes as clear as the sky above."Chuuya.""What are you doing here, you bandage-wasting device?""I'm enjoying myself as you can see, it's my day off."Chuuya frowns down at him, "Lying on the ground?""Why not?" Dazai pillows himself with his arm. "It's calm and quiet here, and it would have been peaceful if not for a slug who lost themselves here."Chuuya rolls his eyes. "I'm also off today, so I just wanted to walk around in the fields for a bit when I found you stinking mackerel here."Dazai eyes the relatively light clothings Chuuya is wearing. Dazai sees Chuuya does the same."You're going to get grass stains on your clothes you know." Chuuya lets out after a moment."I don't particularly care." Dazai replies. To prove his point, Dazai stretches out while still lying down without a care. Dazai looks up at Chuuya who haven't move an inch before patting the ground with his right hand. Chuuya raises an eyebrow at him. Dazai smirks. "Afraid you'll get grass stains on your clothes?"Dazai's smirk widens as Chuuya lets out an annoyed huff before sitting down on his left. Dazai lightly hums before starting to pick some grass before observing them. It's a clover."These things are everwhere. Probably explains why Linnaeus named it." Dazai eyes Chuuya. "Oh, of course Chuuya wouldn't know, he's the botanist who's known as the father of taxonomy and-""I know who he is and what he named it, you bastard!" Chuuya yells at him picking - no, ripping - out some grass before flicking it towards Dazai. Dazai picks up a piece that hit his face before munching on it."Then are you also aware that clovers have cyan ions in them?" Dazai ignores Chuuya giving him looks. "You don't happen to have potassium with you, do you? Bummers."Looking done, Chuuya turns away and brushes his fingers through the field of grass around him. Clovers and grasses and small wildflowers brush against the equally tiny hands with soft touches that resembles a spring breeze.Dazai picks out another clover. It has three leaves. "Ah, I can't find the four-leafed ones! This is so annoying~ Find it for me, Chuuya!""Stop whining, what are you, five?" Chuuya shakes his head. "What's so special about four leaf clovers anyway?""Gasp, Chuuya, they symbolize luck! Did you not know that? How deep inside a cave were you?""That's not what I'm talking about! Of course I knew, I meant that don't all plants have flower meanings and stuff? So why does it matter how many leaves it has?""They symbolize luck," Dazai emphasizes, "Chuuya doesn't get the difference, he's so stupid, tsk tsk.""Oi you fuckin-" Chuuya pauses, then sighs as he gets up. With a flick of his wrist, a red glow starts to surround his body lightly. Dazai watches as pieces of greens floats up towards the blue while covered in red. Chuuya stands by Dazai, looking down at him, creating a shadow which blocks the sun from his eyes.Clear blue eyes meets earthy brown one for a moment. Chuuya then huffs and lightly kicks him in the stomach. "Oww" Dazai complains."I'm done wasting my time here, Mackerel. I have better things to do, unlike you." Chuuya says as he steps over Dazai. "You go ahead and live in clovers."Dazai's busy wiping off the greens that rained down on him - it's going to be some battle to take them out of his hair - as familiar footsteps disappears into the distance. Dazai raises a hand and picks off a clover that landed on his lips - which he almost ate - and observes. It has four leaves.
