The sound of fast typing could be heard from the other side of the room as H.O.M.E (Home of Outside Main-planet Events) Commander, Lara Rogers, typed her final email, at least for the next 6 months, to her board members informing them that she and Daniel, her younger brother and 2nd in Command, are not to be contacted at any point, unless the world is literally at death's gates or something to that degree. As she finalized the email and did a quick once over for any spelling errors, she heard her office door open. While pressing send, she looked up and smiled as her brother walked over to her."Hey little brother, you all done for the day?" She asked, closing the laptop and shutting down her computer. Daniel nodded, crossing his bag over his shoulder and tapping it."All squared away, and my email sent.""That’s what I was sending off as you walked in," Lara said, collecting her purse and coming around her desk, crossing the expanse of the room to reach the door and lock everything down for the next half a year."So, did you call Dad?" Daniel wondered as the elevator lowered the siblings to the basement that housed their cars. Lara nodded, explaining that she reached out to their dad, Phil, a few days after they got the approval to take a very much-needed extended vacation. The younger Rogers nodded and hummed in acknowledgment, waiting for his sister to step out of the elevator, then walking her to her car. The siblings talked for a while before parting ways, agreeing to meet at the private runway that they had as part of the company.Around 5 pm Lara and Daniel were pulling into the runway's parking garage just a few seconds apart. As Lara was finishing up a phone call with Phil's son and their older brother, Ianto Jones, Daniel was grabbing the bags from the trunks to be put on the plane. Ianto would be joining along with a friend of his from work."So, a short flight to Cardiff then we're off to New York," Lara said finishing her phone call and boarding the plane. Daniel gave acknowledgment and sat down as the start-up was coming to completion.Over in Cardiff, Ianto ended his phone call with Lara and turned to leave, suddenly coming face-to-face with his boss, Capt. Jack Hartness, raised an eyebrow and his normal smirk. "Who was that?'Ianto jumped, clutching his chest before composing himself and rolling his eyes. He was tired of the man seeming to appear out of thin air."If you really must know, my sister." Ianto slid from around the annoyingly handsome man, and made it to his desk, collecting his things so that he could get home and pack. He looked up as Toshiko, or Tosh as everyone called her, came over with her things. It was discussed when the trip was being planned that if Ianto had someone to bring along he was welcomed to do so. Since jack made his bed, Tosh was the best choice."Ready?""Yeah, come on." The Welsh man and Japanese woman walked out together from Torchwood headquarters, yet didn't see the faces of the two men left in the building. After half of the original group had left, the two left shared a look, with the same question in mind.Around 8 pm London time, the younger Rogers stared their dissent onto a private runway where Toshiko and Ianto were waiting with their luggage. Daniel stepped off the plane and hugged his older brother, who complained about how tall the younger man had become."You say that every time you see me Ianto, I outgrew you when I was still in high school," Daniel said before introducing himself to Tosh, who laughed at the brothers' attics. Tosh soon noticed a woman by the plane, and when she got the attention of the Welsh man, he ran over and swept her up off the ground."Lara! How's my favorite sister?""I'm your only sister.""That's why you're my favorite." Lara let out a chuckle before noticing Tosh and waving over to introduce herself and get situated on the plane for the second round of take-off. The Japanese woman saw a lot of similarities in Lara, Ianto, and Daniel. From the way they interacted to the way they sat when engaging in conversation. She asked about their parents and smiled as all three pairs of brown eyes lit up at the mention of their parents. Toshiko learned about Captain America and his Agent husband, Phil. She also gained some insight about the other Avengers, and when the photos came around she found herself making note of Tony Stark and Bruce Banner."Attention passengers, we'll be landing at the Avengers facility in 15 minutes if you would buckle in, and prepare for landing."The four all buckled up and the conversation became light, but Tosh could see the excitement in the sibling's eyes as they landed. As the plane landed Lara looked out the window to see her dads standing outside, with the older and taller of the two blindfolded. The siblings exited the plane while Tosh stood to the side with the pilot to watch."Phil, for what reason do I need to be blindfolded." Daniel had to bite his lip to keep from laughing at his parents and stood next to Ianto as Lara nodded at their dad."Fine then take it off." Steve huffed and was about to turn, ready to pull the "Captain" voice before noticing who was in front of him. The man out of his time felt his heart skip as he looked upon the faces of his children."Hey, Dad."

"Hey dad."
Steve couldn't believe it. His kids, all three of them, in front of him wearing matching grins. He opened his arms and, to no one's surprise, Lara was the first one in them. Being the only girl in the family really gave her a major edge (on top of being a daddy's girl). Ianto was next and, while Steve wasn't his original other parent quickly stepped into the role when he and Phil got together. Daniel came around, tugging his other parent into the hug, and let out a sigh.As the family of five pulled away from one another, Steve turned to his husband, planted a kiss on his forehead. Phil chuckled and accepted Steve's way of thanks, before pushing him to go help the luggage from the plane. Lara had grabbed Tosh and was leading her inside the compound so that the older lady could see what exactly her dad did. On their way through they ran into Peter, who had just come by from school and, like the sweet kid he is, was very excited to meet Lara in person as well as to meet someone from overseas who was interested in tech."Well, I'm on my way to see Mr. Stark if you want to come with me Ms. Sato," Peter said, and before Tosh could refuse, Lara agreed and turned to walk with Peter, while still dragging Tosh with her. Lara hadn't missed the way that Tosh looked at her Uncles Tony and Bruce when they showed her pictures, pieced two and two together, and decided that she was going to play match-maker if she could. Peter was happy to talk with the 'cousin' he hadn't met yet and Lara was just the same, noticing the little things about Peter that she could also see in her uncles.The trio took the longer route to the lab to show the Japanese scientist around and as they neared DUM-E came zooming out of the lab and behind Peter. It also happened that before anyone could ask the three were face-to-face with Tony Stark himself."Peter, hey kid! Lara! My favourite niece, when did you get in? And I'm sorry I don't know you, what's you're name?" Lara hid her smile as Tony looked at Tosh the same way he looked at Bruce. She coughed to continue hiding her growing smile and introduced Toshiko to her uncle."Uncle Tony, this is Toshiko Sato. She works with Ianto as the tech specialist." Lara said, while Peter slowly slide towards the doors of the lab with DUM-E as to the get the robot back inside without the genius billionaire noticing, and it wasn't until all four humans where in inside the lab that the superhero noticed his first creation wheeling around. Tony just shook his head and called out for his husband to come and greet their surprise guests.Bruce was puzzled when he looked up, but then smile and walked over to receive a hug from his 'niece'."Hey Lara, how are you? Steve didn't tell us you where coming home." The only female Rogers smiled and informed her uncles of the surprise of her and her brothers arrival only a few minutes prior."We also brought our friend Tosh. Uncle Bruce, Toshiko Sato. Tosh, this is Bruce Banner he's-.""A gamma radiation scientist. I know, I've read some of his work." Tosh cut Lara off, smiling warmly at the other scientist in the room, all three with the same dopey looks on their faces. The four began to converses, mainly due to Peter beginning to ask Tosh questions about her work and what she did while Tony and Bruce just shared looks. Lara made a quiet escape and went to the living area of the compound, running into Natasha. This led to both women giggling like schoolgirls as Nat was Lara's best-friend and when the assassin was in Europe, Lara always had space for her. "So how long are you here?" The red head asked, sitting on the end of the couch as Lara sat next to her, Both women were turned towards one another the other as they talked."6 months, maybe more depending on how the company feels about us being gone."Natasha nodded and they continued to talk about what had been going on the last few months since they last spoke. Nat was just about to talk about the new members on the team when Clint walked into the room with Thor and two men the eldest Rogers child didn't recognize. "Lady Lara!! How do you fair? It has been a while since we've last conversed." Thor's voice boomed, yet Lara was unfazed and stood to hug the Asgardian as best she could. Thor was quick to hug her back before remembering he hadn't come in alone."Lara! This is my brother Loki, and Sam, son of Wilson." The eldest Rogers looked over and smiled at both the men, Sam being the one that held her interest more than anyone with eyes could notice. Lara went back to the couch and motioned for the boys to also sit. It seemed like she picked a good time as Ianto and Daniel entered the room and each gaining looks from two out of three men already in the room. Lara looked between her brothers and the men that seemed to hold their attention and smiled.'This is going to be an interesting vacation'.
