James body lurches as he moves too quickly while trying to get in a more comfortable position. He can’t help but hiss in pain, everything hurt there isn’t a part of him that doesn’t hurt. To be truthful, he is a walking bruise, and in a sense, it’s all his fault. He knew that something like this could happen, Robert had come home angry and drunk. Very, very drunk, and when his father comes home drunk it means nothing good for him. Really all that he had to do was give his own father a funny look and that was the end of it. He found himself over the nearest flat object with his pant and underwear down around his ankles. James has one thing going for him, he should be happy that it was a flat object and that his father only decided to fuck him, that tonight hadn’t been a game of piñata. It wouldn’t do him any good to show up at school with bruises that he couldn’t explain, not that anyone one would even care. It had been years since he had tried to tell the teachers or even the nurses at the school what is going on at home. No one ever seemed to believe him, no one cared enough to ask what is going on. James grumbles at that thought pulling his legs closer to himself trying to blink away the tears that had started to pool in his eyes. He wasn’t just being raped by his own father, others had taken their own turns, he was just a piece of meat to be passed around from one person to another. There wasn’t anything special about him, he should know as he is living this life.In fact, if it isn’t his own father it’s the captain of the football team or the quarterback. Sometimes they liked to take turns passing him back and forth. Or on a really bad day, they will take him at the same time.  What did they call it nowadays, split roasting? James doesn’t really know, and he doesn’t care either. That afternoon he had been taken several times by the captain only to come home just to deal with everything with his father, and thus the reason for him not being able to sleep. Not only is his mind wandering a mile a minute, but he is also in so much pain that he doesn’t know what to do with it. James tries to get the sleep that he most desperately needs, it wouldn’t do him any good if he fell asleep in the middle of class. James shifts again and moans softly, as his mind wanders again. Oh, what it would be like if he didn’t have to go through the things that he has, to have something or someone to love him. Someone like his mother, James shook his head, even that was a lie. She didn’t love him, if she had, she wouldn’t have left him with a man that abuse and raped his own flesh and blood just make himself feel like a bigger Alpha than he already was.Someday James tells himself, he will be better than all of this. He will be better than all the people that have hurt him. He will take them and destroy them until there is nothing left of them for anyone to find. Just little pieces here and there. James believes this, and yet he knows that somewhere in the back of his mind, that even that probably won’t even happen. He was just a stupid Omega, who would listen to an Omega, after all, he was only good for one thing, and that was sex. Not even good enough to want a child with. The one thing that James does know is that he is going to have to get better at hiding, at running. Because if he doesn’t one day he is going to end up in a ditch, dead or close to death.Of course, James doesn’t think that will happen anytime soon, well that isn’t true. Unfortunately, James has caught the eye of the most dangerous student at his school. The captain of the football team would be small potatoes compared to this boy. He wasn’t just some juvenile that people hated and feared, no he was the son of the more notorious mob boss in their city. In the country. This child, the boy held all the power, and no one would get in his way. So, it was par for the course that he was now interested in James. As James knew that he would have to do whatever was asked of him, there would be no getting out of it. There would be no escaping the pain and misery that was due to come his way.At some point in the night, James fell into an uneasy sleep, his mind finally shutting down allowing him to get some rest, as he drifted in and out every time he moved awakening another part of his body that hurt. On the other side of the room sleeping peacefully is Richard, James twin brother. He isn’t like James, no one bothers him, and he isn’t abused. Richard is an Alpha someone to be feared or looked upon with pride. He isn’t tormented or abused, and most of all raped, no one would ever try that, even if Richard was a wimp of an Alpha. In that face James felt cheated, how could it be fair that Richard could be the one born an Alpha, what gene allowed him to have that blessing and not him. Why did he have to be born the lowly Omega? In fact, they looked exactly alike as they looked like they were identical twins it was easy to tell that they weren’t. No, they were fraternal and that was why Richard was an Alpha and he was an Omega. It was strange though, Richard was the opposite of what an Alpha should be, he is quiet and reserved. He doesn’t act out and he isn’t in your face with his feelings. He doesn’t come off as abrasive, all things that James is. Of course, it wasn’t always like this. Before their mother left them, James remembers that he was the quiet one. Always so reserved, it was better that way, Alpha’s don’t like rowdy Omegas. It was better to be seen and not heard.Once she died James didn’t care anymore, he threw away all the rules. What was the point of playing along, especially when no one listens anyway? Of course, both James and Richard would always revert to their original personalities, after all that was who they were at the core. You can’t hide who you are, no matter how hard you try. The night passed slowly and quietly, but every bump in the night made James flinch and awaken just to slip back into the sleep ever so slightly. It wasn’t something comfortable or kind. When the sun began to rise, and the clock ticked nine, both James and Richard were awoken harshly by the blaring noise of their alarm going off.Richard is quick to rise unlike James, all his body still hurts and moving so quickly will only make it worse. His eyes scan the room before landing on the alarm clock. He swings his hand ever so slightly hitting the alarm turning it off with an ease of someone who has done it a thousand times repeatedly. James muscles still ached, and he moved about the bed stiffly trying the best to not move way too much. Richard watched with amusement as James got up from the bed, waddling around their room like a duck.“Jim,” Richards tone is quite condescending as he calls out.James can’t help the sharpness that comes out of his mouth, “What?”Richard just shakes his head as if he has heard it all before, “If you didn’t insist on pissing father off you wouldn’t be waddling around the room like this.”James freezes dead in his tracks and begins to grit his teeth together, Richard doesn’t know what it’s like. He doesn’t know what happens at school and he doesn’t seem to care. He lets their father rape him repeatably. He lets it happen when he could step up and allow it to happen. “And how would you know. As I seem to remember I am always the target of his rage. Always! It’s not like he ever touches you, and you don’t even try to protect me. So, what would you know? After all, you are the favorite child.”Richard scowled at him with a look of disgust at even thinking that he was the favorite or that any of that had anything to do with what was going on, “You know very well that has nothing to do with anything.”James huffs, “I noticed that you didn’t even argue that you aren’t the favorite. Of course, you are, you’re the perfect wanted Alpha, and I’m the lowly Omega.”Richard chuckles humorously, “Oh poor James, thinking that he is even worth more. You aren’t a lowly Omega, there’s nothing special about you.”James pivots to fast he almost falls over his voice raises an octave and he looks so broken as he hisses at Richard, “My name is Jim. It’s Jim, J I M. You know this, so get it through your thick head, I don’t want to be called James.”Richard just laughs, “Oh Jim,” it’s said with so much snark, “We both know the reason no one believes you are because you act out too much. This right here is my lovely point. And what are you going to do, not allow anyone to call you by your own name? Not even your mate, I mean not that you could even ring one in. Who would want someone like you anyways.”James flinches back ever so slightly his eyes dropping to the ground in a sense of submission. Richard chuckles as he reaches the door of their room leaving James to his misery. He was right of course, why would anyone want someone like him. He was a used piece of trash, thrown away once something better came along. No one stayed with him and no one loved him. It was pointedly obvious as his own mother, someone who should never leave and always love him left.If even she couldn’t stand to look at him and love him for who he was, how as someone else to love him? How was he to find someone else to call him their own, to cherish him, someone, he would allow into his heart? To allow the use of his full name. James didn’t know, and he wasn’t sure that he cared, once he got out he was never, ever going back. No one would hurt him then, and no one would ever touch him ever again. All he had to do, James kept reminding himself is make it to eighteen. That was all he had to do.It takes James longer than he would like to get dressed and ready for school, he does move around slower than he would have cared to admit. So, he isn’t surprised that Richard is already done and ready when he comes down the stairs. He also isn’t surprised that their father is passed out on the couch and that Richard like always is taking care of him. It’s the same thing day in and day out. He is happy though that their father is asleep, it wouldn’t be good to find himself in more pain than necessary right before school and being late won’t be good either. He doesn’t spend all that much time in the house, he foregoes breakfast and rushes out the moment that he can. It would seem though that luck isn’t on his side, and James things, it never is. The night before a storm had come through, one that he knew was coming but didn’t think would hit till the weekend. It, of course, came early and now the ground was littered in a fresh blanket of snow. James sighed softly to himself as he began to make his way quietly and carefully to school. The snow seeps in this his pants as he walks, and James wishes that he wouldn’t have been able to stay home. This is a dream though, as he knows that it would be safer at school than at home. Though there are bad people at school no one is trying to beat him to a pulp and there is a good chance that his father would do exactly that. As he is making his way up a terribly long and icy hill a black Sedan slides up beside him. The horn honks as the slow down driving slower than should be allowed.James gives the car a look but decides to ignore it, there was no way that they were trying to get him of all people to pay attention to it. He wasn’t that kind of person, no one liked him, and no one would ever willingly give him a ride to school. James ignores them and keeps walking, he even tries to pick up the pace, of course, that doesn’t dissuade them, and they continue to follow him. James body slows down once more and when he reaches a stoplight, they pull over in front of him.James gives the car a look of distaste but stops. The back door opens and a young woman that James recognizes as familiar gives him an uneasy smile. She takes an uneasy breath before looking at him softly, “Are you, Jim or Richard?”Another voice from the back of the car near the first hisses out in a sneer, “That one is obviously James.”James feels his blood run cold, that voice he recognizes immediately, and his mind starts to turn off, sliding to a screeching halt. The young woman frowns at him and slides out of the back seat. This is the first time that James can get a full look at her. She has short blond hair that curls ever so slightly around her chin in a very feminine way. The bob that she is sporting makes her look distinguished and proper. She is wearing a pale pink blouse with a soft woolen brown shall cover her body from the cold. She even has a high pencil skirt that is black with a soft pink underlay. If James had to guess she even had a guarder belt that held up her stockings. Everything about her screams rich even the gold rings placed on her right pointer and left middle finger. James even thinks he sees a line of pearls around her neck. Her voice is soft and calming as she grabs his attention again, “Jim, my name is Mary. We would like to give you a ride to school, would that be okay? You must be cold.”The other boy snickers and says something that James doesn’t catch but it is obvious that someone in the car catches it because suddenly there is an annoyed but stern voice, “That was not appropriate Sherlock. You will apologize to Mary immediately.”James doesn’t know if there is an apology coming or not. He’s scared and worried, Marry Morstan is the cousin to Sebastian Moran. And everyone knew what would happen if you got on the bad side of Sebastian. Mary gives him another small smile before reaching out to touch his hand, “It’s okay you didn’t do anything wrong. We just want to give you a ride.”James nods his head his eyes travel to the other occupants of the car. One is a ginger-haired boy who James recognizes as Mycroft Homes. The boy is dressed in a sharp looking navy-blue pinstripe suit. With what looks like silver cufflinks. He isn’t looking at James, instead focusing on the traffic that drives around them. There is also a young woman in the passenger seat, she is wearing almost the exact suit but for women that Mycroft is wearing.James doesn’t know her name, but he recognizes that she is almost always with him. Her hair is a dark brown and from what he can tell it comes down to her mid back, she is of course, on her cell. It seems that she is always invested in that device. The last person is obviously Sherlock. James like the boy to some extent but not enough to trust. No, the boy has gotten him in more trouble than it is worth, and he would trust him as far as he could throw him. In fact, James wishes that he wasn’t in the car at all.“Alright,” James says softly. “I’ll get in the car with you.”Mary smiles a genuinely happy smile and scoots over so that James doesn’t have to sit next to Sherlock. Once he is in Mycroft starts the drive back up, the car shifts into silence. James is way too worried to even try to speak to any of them. It wouldn’t do him any good anyway. He is sure that this is only going to bring him trouble, but it was better than walking. The car is nice, expensive so and James feels a little out of it sitting him there with his torn-up jeans and his rugged messenger bag. He shuffles around trying not to think about what it will mean for him in the future. Mary is of course still smiling at him. She even turns to speak to him.“Why were you walking, doesn’t the bus come by your place?”James doesn’t look at her he just looks out the window. He wants to just pretend that she hadn’t spoken to him at all. He can feel all the eyes in the car on him and James wants to cry, he wants to curl up into a ball and slip away from the world. Just as he is about to answer her if only to sink back into the darkness Sherlock barks at him.“I’ve been told that it’s rude to ignore someone who is obviously talking to you. And to think we gave you a ride.”James' shoulders shake, and he tries to keep his breathing even. He can already feel the tears starting to slide down his face.Mycroft gives Sherlock a dark look from the mirror, “He is under no obligation to answer Mary. And you will do so to remember that, or would you like me to talk to Sebastian about your bad manners again.”James can feel the air in the car freeze, his own breath catching in his throat. He hears Sherlock stutter out a no before there is silence again.“Jim,” Mycroft says calmly, “Don’t feel that you need to tell us anything that you don’t want to. Mary can be a little curious. That doesn’t mean you have to talk, alright.”James nods his head shakily and Mycroft hums in acknowledgment before going back to paying attention to the road as he drives. The rest of the car ride is spent in silence, a tense sort of silence. Some that James knows is due to Mycroft’s threat. When the car finally comes to a stop in the schools parking lot James is the first to get out. He stands around a little bit waiting for everyone to get out of the car. Once they are all out, he gives them all a little bow.“Thank you for the ride.”Mary smiles, “No problem. Have a good day.”James gives her another shaky nod before hurrying off. Mycroft sighs softly before rubbing the bridge of his nose. He gives Sherlock a dark look. And Sherlock returns the look.“I am better than you Mycroft. Don’t ever do that again.”Mary snaps her fingers before Mycroft can speak, “Sherlock, Sebastian will be hearing about this and you know it. Don’t dig yourself a bigger hole. The punishment will only be worse.”Sherlock drops his head in shame, it was annoying to be called out by not only his Omega brother but Mary who was also a Beta. He was the Alpha of the group. He should be the one in charge, not either of them. And yet, and yet Mycroft was always the one in charge. Always the one placing dominance over him. Sherlock would have to find a way to make that stop.Mary hums, “He was so cute, wasn’t he? Though a little scared. Something about him was off. Did you see the way he kept squirming?”Mycroft nods his head, “Yes… and I don’t think you are going to like the answer, I don’t think Sebastian is going to like the answer.”Mary frowns and watches James run into the school, “Will he be okay?”Athena looks up, “I am keeping an eye on his from today forward. Sebastian said that he is to be under full surveillance.”Mycroft nods his head, “Greg mentioned something like that this morning before we left.”“Greg is going to take him home today, maybe he will find out more then. Until then all we can do is watch and pray it doesn’t happen again.”

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Mary frowns and watches James run into the school, “Will he be okay?”

Athena looks up, “I am keeping an eye on his from today forward. Sebastian said that he is to be under full surveillance.”

Mycroft nods his head, “Greg mentioned something like that this morning before we left.”

“Greg is going to take him home today, maybe he will find out more then. Until then all we can do is watch and pray it doesn’t happen again.”
James feels odd as he moves off from the car, his body still hurts, and his mind is trying not to shut down from all the energy that he has put into keeping up with appearances within the car. It just wasn’t something that he was used to. It was obvious that this wasn’t something that happened every day. In fact, James wasn’t even sure why it had even happened to him in the first place. It was just too weird, having Mycroft, Sebastian’s younger half-brother pick him up. To give him a ride, and on top of that being so nice to him. Mycroft isn’t known to be nice, he is tough and doesn’t like people looking down upon him because of his secondary gender, in fact, he tends to make sure that people respect him more, and if they don’t well then, they will have to deal with Sebastian. No one wants to deal with that man, everyone knows what his father does for a living. Add to that the fact that Sebastian is also going to take over his fathers’ business doesn’t help. So, in essence, if you were related or even had any relation to Sebastian you were safe, no one messed with you.So, it was strange to have Mycroft and Mary picking him up, and even being nice to him. It just didn’t happen like that, unless there was something else going on and James feared that he was going to be the butt of another joke. One that would probably hurt more than any of the other ones.James isn’t sure how he got to his own locker; his mind in a whirl of emotions. He goes through the motions as if on autopilot and as such he doesn’t notice Athena hanging around just out of sight. She looks to be on her phone, but only those that know her well enough know that she is actually very aware of her surroundings. James doesn’t even realize what is going on around him until Molly taps him on his shoulder pulling him out of his autopilot stage.“Hey, you are here early.”James nods his head, “Yeah… Um… well, I got a ride.”Molly smiles at him as she pulls her books out of her locker, “You think that it is going to happen again? It would be great if it does. I hate that you have to walk to school all the time.”James shakes his head ‘no’, “It was Mycroft. That isn’t something that happens as a repeat. I don’t even know why they were on my side of town.”Molly frowns and watches as James shifts from foot to foot and squeezes his arm, “Happen again?”James doesn’t say anything for a, second before nodding his head, “Yeah… but I suppose there isn’t anything that I can really do about it… Molly, when I’m an adult, when we are both adults let’s move about in together and stuff… Go to college away from here, somewhere safe.”Molly nods her head, she isn’t sure how well that will work. There aren’t very many places that are safe for unmated Omegas, but she will do everything in her power to protect James, even if that means putting herself in harm’s way. She had noticed the slight change in the way that the students had started to treat James. Something was off, different. She had also noticed that James seemed to have a tail l, a protective shadow that followed him around. They weren’t always there, and that caused James more trouble, but she had noticed it.The ever-looming eyes of one person, in particular, Sebastian Moran, she didn’t know why but she had this eerie feeling about him. She knew what he was, and the things that he could do, and she worried about what that would mean for James. She knew without a doubt that James wouldn’t be able to say no. If Sebastian asked something of him, he would have to do it, and that scared her more than anything. Molly was determined she would confront Sebastian about this, he would not be like the others, using her friend for his only pleasures of the skin. She didn’t care if he was a mob boss. She thought that he was better than that.James wished Molly goodbye and they both headed in a different direction off to their first morning period. No matter how hard she had tried, Molly hadn’t been able to get the same classes as James. They did have a few classes together and those they stuck to each other like glue. But there were classes like their morning lecture that they didn’t have together that made Molly worry. She didn’t like many of the students that James had classes with, they were always mean and rude, and they treated James with so much hate and anger. She didn’t quite understand why he wasn’t a bad person. No, he was someone that they should care about and try to protect. It was obvious that something was going on at home, there had been many cases when James had come to school with busted lips and bruising around his wrists and throat.Did any of the teachers do anything, No! They just seemed to look the other way and Molly hated that the most. How could someone just look the other way, this was a child that needed saving. Molly wondered if that was what Sebastian was going to do, save her friend. From himself and from the people that had done his wrong. James had been innocent once, but that boy was long gone. The child that replaced him was a shell of the person that she knew.James hadn’t really noticed his tail, he had noticed that today seemed to feel different from all the others like he had some sort of guardian angel on his side. There was this warm and protective glow that seemed to surround him as he made his way to class. It was odd, something like this had never happened before but then again today had already started off as odd, so he supposed it couldn’t get any odder. The protective glow even followed him into the classroom, which felt odd as there wasn’t anyone in his class that liked him at all. Yet the glow stayed there the whole time. No one bothered him and no one seemed willing to talk to him either. It was such a strange thing to happen. James truly felt safe sitting in class listening to the teacher drone on and on, something that James didn’t think he would ever feel. When class finally ended, he wasn’t sure that he wanted to leave, this room for some strange reason made him feel safe and it was always hard for him to leave his haven, but James knew that he couldn’t just stay in the classroom all day no matter what he wanted. So instead he made his way out and began to head to his next class, the feeling followed him. Down the hall and into the next classroom. At this point, James began to become suspicious. He didn’t have a guardian angel, that isn’t how things worked for him, that meant that someone was following him. Who and why was still unclear, though it would seem that they didn’t have any malicious intent? It was something warm, like a loving embrace, which James had forgotten how that had felt, it had been so long since someone other than Molly had cared for him.The feeling followed him from class to class and when lunch came the feeling seemed to intensify, but as James looked around the whole cafeteria, he couldn’t find a single person that seemed to be looking for him. Only Molly, who was waving from a table that she had saved for them. A soft smile slipped onto his lips as he moved to sit with her. She was his best friend as he loved her more than anything. James was always glad that no one picked on her, and that she was safe from the cruel things that always happened to her. He wouldn’t wish that upon her, and it filled his heart with joy that no one had ever tried to take her by force. She was pure and he prayed that she stayed that way.“Molly,” James calls out softly as he gets closer to her.Molly smiles at him as he sits down, she hands him a home-packed lunch that she brings for him every day. James takes it with a soft smile and thanks her. Molly nods her head as they settled down at the lunch table.“Have you noticed this odd feeling of protectiveness following me around?”Molly frowns at him before scanning the cafeteria before her eyes land back on James, “I don’t know Jim are you sure that is what you are feeling.”James gives her a pouty face, “You don’t believe me?”Molly snickered, “Of course, I believe you silly. Just don’t like to give you a hard time. I am glad that you are feeling good. Even if it is an odd occurrence, this day has been full of odd occurrences. Don’t you think?”James nods his head and they finish the rest of their meal in silence before pulling out some of their homework from the classes before lunch, starting on them. It would be much easier for James if he is able to get almost all his homework done before he gets home. That way he won’t have to worry about what his father decides to do.After lunch ends, Molly and James head to their next class together. The good feeling follows him there and James can’t help the small smile that fills his face. It is nice to not have to worry about what is going to happen to him. Yet in the back of his mind, he knows that it can’t last, there is just something about all this that is just way to strange. Nothing good lasts forever and James knows that better than anyone, but James will take the peace while it lasts.Molly and James have two more classes together before they must go their separate ways to the last class of the day. The ever-watchful eyes follow James and though the hair on the back of his neck stands up James tries to pretend that he doesn’t feel it. With the ever so watchful gaze of his guardian angel, he doesn’t think anything is going to happen, at least not yet.James knows that once the watchful gaze is gone that anything could happen, and he isn’t sure what that means for him. His last class goes by slowly as the gaze that had been making his skin prickle gets stronger and stronger and James knows that whoever it is, they are in the room with him. He can’t bring himself to turn around and look for the sources of the gaze, it burns, and he doesn’t want to know who it is at all.James can finish all his homework and he is glad for that because whatever is coming for him isn’t going to leave him alone until it gets what it wants. When class is finally over, James is very eager to leave rushing away from the classroom as quickly as he can. He makes it to his locker getting everything in it and begins to head towards the door and that is when it all goes to crap. The feeling bubbles over and James knows that something didn’t feel right, there had been this protective shadow looming over his shoulders all day, and then it was gone. Of course, that wasn’t the issue, no the issues were that James could now feel another shadow looming over his shoulders and it wasn’t something good, it felt evil. The whole day had gone by with nothing bad happening, he hadn’t needed to worry, but now, now James wasn’t so sure.He knew that it was too good to be true, to get out of the school with nothing happening, to have one good day. He, of course, had been expecting this all day, as always, every good thing must end at some point, and it looks like it finally happened. The good feeling that he had all day dissipated in a matter of seconds. Even the unease that he felt in his lase class was okay with the knowledge that as long as the guardian angel stayed nothing would happen, but James’ life wasn’t a fairy tale. No, it was a fucking horror story and he should just get used to it. No one ever got out alive in those stories. They all ended up dead or something worse. Clinically insane, never at peace always looking over one’s shoulder. It was a laugh that his life would ever get better. A laugh. James squeezed his eyes shut as he began to walk faster, try his hardest to ignore the feeling that was creeping up on him. His breath hitched as a hand reached out and landed on his shoulder.“Hello, their Jimmy.”James swallowed, “Hello Matthew.”The boy behind him had a wicked smile on his face, “Why don’t we go somewhere private.”James let out a soft wine but didn’t fight him and Matthew forced him to turn the other direction. He could almost see his destination as it slipped from his fingers. James tried to talk several deep breaths, it would do him no good to start panicking now. If he did as they asked, it would hurt less. All he needed to do was lie there and take it, he could do that James thought, he could do that. It’s what he did at home, this was nothing different. It was always the same, maybe they’d let him get off easy with just a blowjob. He didn’t think that was going to be the case, but he could only wish.“I noticed that you have been getting followed by someone. Silly how they didn’t make sure you got home safe. Guess they don’t care about you that much.”James doesn’t say anything, he is sure that whoever was following him didn’t think that anything was going to happen. Nothing had happened all day, why would this be any different. James of course, knew better. He knows how they operate. He knows that they wait until James is vulnerable, where there isn’t anyone else around. James knows all of this, and yet it doesn’t make him feel any better. This always happens, this is his life. One day though, one day he will be able to get back at everyone that ever hurt him. He would carve his name into them. They would know that James was the one that ruined their lives. Showed the world what they really were, cheating lying bastards who raped innocent omegas like him.Only a junction away stood Greg waiting his hip cocked against the wall just in front of the exit that James usually used. He had gotten a text from Athena thirty minutes ago telling him that James was on his way and should be there shortly, but he hadn’t seen him, and Greg was starting to get a bad feeling. Something about this whole day seemed off, and even Athena who had been tailing James had felt it.Out of the corner of his eye, he could see Molly, James best friend standing off to the side looking like a nervous wreck. Her eyes kept flickering to him and then to the end of the hallway. After about ten more minutes Greg decided that enough was enough, something was holding James up and he didn’t want to have to deal with it any longer.Greg pulled out his cell phone and began dialing a number. He hit send and then waited for a few minutes, “Where are you… What do you mean you are in the car on the way home…? He hadn’t shown up, you are supposed to be tailing him… I don’t care if he was headed straight for me… yes, he should have been fine, but he isn’t… I know this because my gut says so and I have been waiting here for twenty minutes… Athena, you tell Mycroft to turn the car around right now we are not leaving until we find him… bye.”With that, he snapped his phone shut and pressed his thumb and forefinger into the corner of his eyes before turning towards Molly with a soft smile on his face, “Miss Hooper when was the last time you saw your friend Mr. Brooks?”Molly looked at him frantically, “I don’t know… we were supposed to meet here fifteen minutes ago, oh God what if it happened again.”Greg places his hand on her shoulder, “We are going to find him, I promise. Now tell me where his last class is located, and I’ll start from there. You stay here, and when the others get here you tell them any places that you think he might be, okay?”Molly nods her head, tears beginning to slip from her eyes, “What if they hurt him?”Greg gives her a dark smile, “I will personally take care of that.”
