LUKE HEARD many noises in the background. His sight was blurry and he heard weird beeps. He felt a warm hand holding his.

"Ada?" He whispered.

"Sssst. I'm here" He heard a soft voice.

He felt a severe pain in his chest as everything went black...

Years later

Agatha looked through the window. A tree grew where the boy was buried. As she had expected, Ada was there. She looked at her sister and decided to go to her. Ada greeted her with a sad smile and Agatha sat down next to her under the tree. She stared at the blood red cherries. The beautiful blood red cherries. It had been Luke's favorite tree. She looked at Ada and Ada leaned against her. Agatha noticed Ada had her cherry earrings in. A cherrie fell from the tree, not to be eaten. Agatha looked at her sister.

"Are you alright Ades?"

Ada slowly nodded. Agatha looked at her.

"I miss him too." She whispered.

Ada looked at her. "I know you do."

She looked up at the sky. Agatha followed her gaze.

"Where do you think he is?" Agatha said suddenly

"In a place, with Turquoise trees and purple leaves. Where all worries are gone and everybody is equal. Re-brown out an egg as big as a baby. Safe and sound." Ada whispered.

Agatha smiled softly. She loved the way her sister imagined things. The way Ada saw things. It was so deep and unique. The way she could articulate things. Agatha had always been deeply impressed by it.

It was hard for Ada to talk about things like this. The loss of their younger brother had broken her. Luke had always wanted to be a pilot. Luke had thought he could fly.
On his first flight, the airplane crashed. In the hospital his heart had stopped beating.

Ada looked at her sister.

“He's probably jumping on clouds like cotton candy
or dancing under stars like gumballs."

Agatha smiled. "You said that well sister."

"Thank you," Ada said softly.

They sat there for a while chatting about things.

Now years later, Agatha stood behind the window overlooked a garden. She smiled sadly at the tree.

"Have fun Ada, in the land with the Turquoise trees and purple leaves. Where all worries are gone and everybody is equal. Have fun jumping on clouds like cotton candy or dancing under stars like gumballs. Safe and sound." She said softly looking at the tree.

It was not the end, but a beginning.

The end
