The villain looked across the room to where Alex was staring."The one in the red shirt?" They asked."No." Alex said, taking another drink. "Stop guessing.""I'll figure it out.""Are you wanting to die, because I can make that happen." Alex glared."The one in the puff jacket?" They asked.Alex's glass shattered in their hand."Oh yeah, that's the one. That's your 'partner in crime'?"Alex didn't answer.Morgan felt the eyes on him and turned to them. He waved at Alex before turning back ton continue his conversation."So is he just your partner in crime or is he more like your partner partner?""That depends," Alex said. "If I kill you are you just dead or are you dead dead?""You don't have to worry, I won't try to steal him from you.""You're saying that like you could.""I absolutely could, but I won't.""You know the only reason you're still alive is because if we had to leave early Morgan would be upset." Alex said."So, if I leave with him tonight I get to live a little longer?"Alex looked uncomfortably calm."Okay, then. If he's not your partner partner then he's available?"The table was holding up surprisingly well for how tightly Alex was gripping it.The villain stood up. "Great talking to you, but I think I can and will be leaving with your crime partner tonight."They walked over to Morgan, hearing the table breaking behind them.Morgan turned around and ran into them immediately."Sorry, I need to g-""Don't worry about them, they're fine. Oh yeah, sure." Morgan said.He got up, looking around, "where did Alex go?"The other villain looked around and smiled. "Maybe they got tired?""Weird, they'd usually tell me. We can go somewhere though. I drove here so we can take my car.""Perfect." "So what were you thinking of stealing?" Morgan asked."Well, I was hoping to steal you for the night.""Okay, but what did you want to steal?""Does it matter?""Yes. Were you not paying attention earlier?" Morgan asked."Of course I was, b-""Besides, I have a partner. Did Alex not tell you?"Morgan parked and turned off the car. "They told you we're partners right?""Oh, I told them alright." Alex said."Where did you go?" Morgan asked, turning to look at Alex.The villain paused."I didn't want to interrupt your heist planning." Alex said, leaning forward. "But it doesn't sound like they were listening very well."Morgan sighed.Alex glared at the other villain, "you should apologize now.""I'm sorry," the villain whispered.Alex snapped.Then climbed into the passenger seat."I'm getting sick of this, find your own way to murder people.""But Morgan, it's funny."
