Raphael turns the ‘OPEN’ sign around and unlocks the door as he heaves out a sigh. The bucket of water clunks loudly as he throws the mop into it before he carries it to the backroom. A tiny splash of the dirty water hops out and he catches it unknowingly with his apron. He passes by a table that is out of line and pushes it back into place with his large hips. Satisfied, he continues to walk with a smile.

Donatello watches him with careful eyes, nodding and jotting down on his clipboard. His pen hovers from top to bottom of a list. He hears Raph whistle as he passes him and he does not look up.

Raphael: Floor Maintenance. ✔︎

Donnie’s doing the weekly staff management worksheet again. He overlooks the staffs' overall attitude towards their respective roles and he makes sure that no unnecessary mistakes are made. Which would be hilarious if it isn’t sad. He isn’t the manager, contrary to popular belief. That role is solely reserved for Splinter. A role that is, unfortunately, forcing Donnie to fit in its shoes. Splinter is not the most reliable manager-slash-boss, and Donnie feels that he alone has to cover up his father's lack of responsibility. He hates it.However, he despises the idea of their sales going lower. They were just getting steady, and Donnie would know, being the bookkeeper of their establishment. Additional to bookkeeping and basically being the manager-which-he-will-not-call-it-that, Donnie is their trusty registrar. Usually April handles the register when Donnie can't, but Don figured she deserved a break.
He hears a shout and plates clicking together loudly and he raises his head. He moves towards the kitchen and sees Michelangelo balancing a large stack of plates in his hands. The stack wobbles and Don feels his neutral mood threatening to shift. It wobbles a few more seconds before the Leaning Tower of Dishes stills. Donnie hums thoughtfully (and in relief) at the sight and Mikey peeks his head out from the tall stack. “All good here, Dee! You can check my name on your little list!” He says, all teeth showing with his grin.Donnie scoffs yet does so anyway.
Michelangelo: Kitchen Maintenance. ✔︎
Don runs over the rest of the list with his pen. "Yo, since you're here, could you pass me that thing?" he hears Mikey ask. He lifts his eyes the same time Mikey throws the plates in the air and, with great speed, tosses each plate into a neat pile into the dish rack near the stove. Their training are a great advantage in this side business. Not one crack on one plate at his little razzmatazz.
"What thing?" Don replies. Mikey points a finger beside him and he turns to see Mikey's cookbook. The cookbook is a bulky scrapbook with drawings and other art crafts that screams 'Mikey'. Like all other art that Mikey does, the book looks brightly beautiful, right on brand. Not only was Michelangelo the artist of the crew, he is also the head chef of their new hustle. "Oh, this thing. Here," he says lamely, like he does this everyday (he does).
Don tosses the heavy book with a single hand, his eyes goes back to his clipboard. Mikey catches the book with one hand and without looking as well, but Donnie doesn't need to see it to know that. This is on their normalcy scale. "I'm gonna go check on the other things before we open."Mikey yells something back and he doesn't listen, Don is already out of the kitchen by then. He strides towards the bar, clutching the clipboard in one hand. He fixes the slight misalignment on
his uniform tie as he walks. The bar is small, something you'd see at someone's house. It fits one bartender with five stools surrounding it. Their store was more of a drive-by than a dine-in, but that does not mean they do not get customers at night.Despite the size, the collection of liquor and flavor syrups are stacked by the shelves. His eyes scans the bottles swiftly, already used to the routine. Beside the small bar is a corner that Leonardo loves to call, 'the Barista View'. A fitting name, with all things considered. It's a typical barista corner you'd see in any coffee shops. It's smaller, but with only one man (turtle) handling the wheel on it, there's no need for a larger space. Donnie offered one time, to renovate their store and provide larger corner. Leonardo only laughed and refused. "I love how it is," he reasoned. Donnie still offers, because he feels its a little unfair that Mikey's kitchen is way larger than his bar and café. Leonardo called him an idiot. The small barista workspace is in the corner of the building, so Leonardo can be seen from the outside while he makes the customers' drinks. Drive-through customers passes by the 'Barista View' can get a glimpse of Leo in his fitted uniform and fancy movements for either coffee or cocktail.. Really, anyone could see Leonardo working his magic. Which is why Donnie has contemplated nonstop on getting tinted windows for their shop.He scans the floor and the equipment as he walks closer to the blender on Leo's station and gives it a subtle sniff. It smells clean. He rotates it with a single hand in search for any sort of smudge. He finds none.Satisfied with the neatness, Donnie
nods as he checks the next box on his list.
Leonardo: Bar / Café Maintenance. ✔︎
He pauses. He shifts his eyes back towards the bar to look for the slider. The bar and café corner is clean, but the one in charge is not present. Donnie feels a vein in his temple starting to throb. Leo has a habit for being late, which Ralph takes over until he shows up. It was not a rare event but plenty of past happenings made it uncommon. He grips the clipboard, ready to yell out the sliders name. He swears, that if the slider slacks off again, Donnie would cut him off entirely on theirー"Woah, take a chill pill buddy."Donnie stills calmly and doesn't turn around immediately. He counted three seconds before he does.
Leonardo stood behind him, already in his uniform. The shape of his shell peeks out behind his white, fitted button down. The dress pants for their uniform were new, and Donnie suspects that the slider before him had stained another perfectly good pair of uniform pants. The shoes (Donnie scrunches his nose at the thought that their uniform required dress shoes as well) looks new as well, and Donnie sighs. His eyes go back to his shoulders again and sees it hugging Leonardo's shoulders a little too snug. His face shows him dreading for the worse; but the microscopic flip he felt in his chest says otherwise."Where did you get that?" His eyes squints as he asked the blue-clad turtle. "I
just gave you a new set three weeks ago."Leo gives a show of looking for whatever Donnie was saying, knowing full well he was talking about the uniform. His eyes set on the rolled up sleeves on his arms before he gave a one-shoulder shrug. "I know, I took these from your closet."Donnie clenches his fingers before he massages the space between his eyebrows. "I'm sorry, what?"Leo laughs nonchalantly and brushes off imaginary dirt off his (it is literally bursting out of his shirt, this guy reallyー) shoulders. It is then when Donnie realizes that Leo has a cup in his hand. "Chillax, I'm gonna give it back," Leo says. He offers the cup of what Donnie realizes was coffee into his hands. "Here, you look like you need it."Don tentatively accepts it and observes it. "It's espresso."Leo shrugs with a relaxed smirk. "It is."Donnie levels him with his eyes. "You don't drink it espresso.""I know. It's for you."Don squints his eyes again, this time at Leo. "You? Made coffee? For me?"Leo snorts boyishly and walks past him towards the espresso machine. "You act like I poisoned it or something. Should I be offended?"Don rolls his eyes and gives the coffee a sniff, careful not to let Leo see him. He doesn't notice that Leo did. "You're welcome to be offended. This act of generosity is rare, from you."Leo gave another laugh before he ties his corset-like apron around his waist. "Whatever, just drink it before we open shop."Don says nothing and begins to walk away, taking a sip of the fresh espresso. He wills himself to prepare for the worse as the clock ticks closer to their opening time. Leo calls his name again."By the way," Leo starts and pulls on his borrowed pants, "have you been working out, Don? These are a little loose around the thighs."Don gives away nothing in his face as he watched the slider check himself out, even checking his own ass. Despite the view, he gives away nothing."I've always had thicker thighs." Is all what Don replied.Leo gives him a wolfish grin. "That, you do. Papi."Don rolls his eyes at him and walks away, nursing the cup of espresso in his hand.

Having battled the Kraang, mutants living peacefully above the Mystic City, and no further alien related problems have arise over the couple of years. Sure, crimes still exist and petty villains would arise every now and then, but it doesn't take a lot for them to be defeated by the Mad Dogs, name still pending.
And then suddenly, Mikey shared an idea that would change their lives. It was during a fight with Hypno Potamus and a worm guy (Warren something, they're not sure if they've met before) when Mikey suddenly stops mid-fight to ask no one in general, "Are we broke?"Raph, Donnie, and Leo, with confusion heavily written on their faces, paused to turn to Mikey. "Huh?" they dumbly asked simultaneously. And then they all got hit by Hypno's rings, throwing them backwards.
Groans of pain echoed around the alleyway they were thrown into. Donnie landed on his back, Raph on top of him, Mikey beside him, and Leo on top of a nearby trash bag. Raph tried to push himself off using Donnie's knee the same time Don tried to stand and they both ended up squished together again."Get off, Ralph.""I'm tryin', if ya'd just stop moving so much."Leo groaned and used both his swords to push himself off the trash bag. He turns his head to see Donnie pushing Raphael off his plastron with both hands, making Ralph shell down on top of Mikey instead. He gave a short laugh at the sight, before he heard Hypno and that other worm mutant run away with their own loud laughter.
"Sorry, Micheal," Raph said unapologetically as he used Mikey to push himself off, successfully this time. Mikey cried out a 'My body! My poor, younger-than-you-guys body!', but Donnie lightly pushed Mikey's shell with his tech-bo to help him up before he himself stood."Well, off they go," Leo said with a shrug. "Are we gonna chase them or..?" he waves around a sword like it was an extension of his own hand movements. "I mean, we did kinda stop them from blowing up Albeartoland."Donnie punched in commands in his gauntlet to assess the damage his battle shell absorbed, then nodded to himself to when he saw the shield percentage was above sixty percent. "I'd say let them elope and do whatever those two love birds do on their private time.""Wait," Raph asked as he sat up. "Love birds? Them?"Donnie gives an exasperated sigh, "We've been over this! Hypno and Warren have been together since you were fifteen. Why do you guys keep forgetting Warren?""Warren who??" Ralph parroted.
Leo gagged dramatically, "I do not want that image in my head.""Then don't think it?" Don monotonously said but it sounded like a question.
"Too late. It's up there," Leo pointed a finger accusingly at Donnie as he rested his chin on the handle of his sword, "You did this."Don stared at Leo, not amused. Leo stuck his tongue out childishly, like he was acting disgusted just to annoy the soft shell. Don rolled his eyes. "Can someone help me up please?" Raph suddenly called out. Donnie immediately made his tech-bo stretch forward and whacked Raph's back to push him to stand.
"GUYS!" Mikey yelled, jumping out of the pile of garbage he was previously on. "You ignored me!"All three looked at the box turtle expectantly.
"Are we broke or not?!" Mikey asked again, "Hello? Am I the only one hearing myself right now?"Donnie brushed off the dirt of his shoulders before he answered, "Well, we're not exactly broke. But we could use more money with how expensive our expenses are getting, and looting good items
is becoming exponentially more difficult.""Yeah, I blame Leo's stupid massage creams and whatnot." Raph added into the conversation, twirling his twin sai before pocketing them. "It's not like it does anything. You're just putting gunk in your face and smearing it around.""Okay," Leo interrupted, offended. "For your information, these gunk that you're referring, are actually making my skin SILKY smooth, as you can see here, here, here," he rubbed his arm, then leg, and then his face. "Respect the skin care, bros.""YO! Cool it, I've got an idea how we can earn money." Mikey said with enthusiasm. "What if," he paused dramatically and made eye contact with each of the other turtles, "We start our own restaurant! We can make anything we want! And it doesn't even have to be a big one like the Mystic City Pizza Place, we can go local and close up every other day so we can do our job like always."Silence followed. Mikey felt a vein forming on his temple. "Okay, you guys are being jerks."Raph was the first to speak, "I mean, it's not bad idea, humans and mutants are co-living together anywayー,""Barely." Donatello interjected."ー, and with your kitchen skillz bro, no doubt! You make amazing stuff Mikey." Raph continued. "But we need to have a solid plan about this."Mikey pushed off the reassuring hand on his shoulder, "I know that, and I already know what to do. I handle the food, and we can have Leo be the barista for the café. He's a quick learner, he can look up how to do it."Leo shrugged one shoulder, "Not gonna lie, using praises to convince me in this crazy idea is doing wonders."Don shoved Leonardo softly, but harsh enough to make him lose his balance on his sword. "Hold on, are we doing a restaurant or a café?"The box turtle gave an all-teeth grin. "Why not both?"

Donatello sat on the window sill with an itchy, uncomfortable earphones that replaced his own.
Mikey had talked everyone into the restaurant-slash-café idea. It started out well, everything almost seemed complete, until Mikey and Raph had thought of making a drive-through in their own restaurant-slash-café.
He scoffed and asked if they were really running a fast food restaurant. Mikey tied him him with his nunchucks for his dry sarcasm as punishment. Splinter liked the idea, April and their other friends were into it, hell, even S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. was ecstatic at the thought of being a waiter.
He felt betrayed by his own son. That was why he was stuck on the window sill, waiting for the 'customer' to show up. Since Mikey self-appointed himself to be the chef and Leo the barista, Raph and Donnie were the ones left with open roles. But those roles were immediately decided when they took into thought that a.) Donatello is not a perfect candidate for face-to-face customer service, and b.) Donatello was the one with the most knowledge with tech. Sure, working at a cashier monitor didn't require the same skills as Donnie's, Raph was the perfect candidate for in-person customer service. Deep down, Donnie knew Raph was the better choice. And that better choice is currently pretending to be a customer for Donnie's practice. He heard a tap on the entrance to his tiny cubicle-like space and he craned his neck to look at the intruder. The slider's mischievous grin greeted him as he rested against the opening. "Gotta say, Dee," Leonardo starts as his eyes scanned him from up to down. "You're looking real good in that uniform, Papi."A shiver went up Donnie's spine at the absurd name-calling, but he guised it with an annoyed eye roll. "Why is the uniform basically a suit? We're not running a cuisine restaurant, for all I know." He pulled off until the second button on his crisp, white button-down with one hand. "I think it clashes with our brand."Two hands landed on his shoulders. Or what space was left from the battle shell. Donnie stubbornly refused to crane his neck to look at Leo and instead turned his line of sight to the customer window. The hands started to rub the tenseness on his shoulders and he felt himself sag, just a little. He was always weak when it comes to the slider. Just a little."Relax," Leo hushed close to his ear. Donnie wondered how Leo managed to creep up on him, and whether Leo could tell the slight nervousness Donnie thought he was exhibiting on how close he was. "You're gonna do great, you always do."Donnie pondered whether that was a genuine compliment or an empty saying just to calm his irritation. Either way, he silently ate it up, but outwardly sighed. He had a facade to keep up, after all. Leo wasn't the only one with a mask on. "That's true, I always do great."His body ran hot when Leo suddenly snuggled himself on Donnie's cheek. He knew Leo felt him jump at the sudden touch, but he was quick to not show any more reaction than that. Despite how amazing Leo smelt then, or how warm he was to the cool air.The quick pondering came back whether this was another step in Leo's teasing, or Donnie was just overanalyzing things again. For a genius, Donnie had a hard time moving on his forbidden feelings for the slider.Leo quickly let go and Donnie cursed himself for feeling the tad bit of disappointment. He was not a touchy person at all, so he reprimanded himself for craving more of that simple cheek rub.
Leo's hip sauntered as he walked away from where Donnie sat. "Ya' got this, Papi." He turned back to give Donnie one last quick look-over. "I meant it, B-T-Dubs, you really look good."He flashed a wink and went off somewhere Donnie couldn't see. "So do you," he replied softly into the air, knowing full well he would rather swallow sewer goop than let Leo hear him say that.A vehicle rolling up was heard through his earphones, and he quickly shifted into coerced fast-food worker mode. Donnie knew Raph was the one driving the turtle tank, and that he would be 'customer' in this trial. He knew April would be in the passenger seat with S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N to record the event. Then the whole team could look back to see what they could improve."You're up, Don!" He heard Mikey yell from the kitchen. Don rolled his eyes and straightened the staff script Mikey wrote.
"Welcome to Heart, Soul, Body, and Mind Resto-house, terrible name by the way. We need to work on this." He cleared his throat. "We offer soul food, coffee, drinks, and moreー we really need to work on this, it's horrible. How may we be of service to you today?"A static came into his headset and Donnie tapped it on the side. "Hello? Oh, royal customer? What would you like?"Choppy audio and some weird feedback was the response. The frequency hurt Donnie's ear a little and he lowered the volume. "Hello? Raph, speak up. Justー,""I, uhh," Came in Raph's voice. It sounded far too distorted, like he was way up close to the microphone.

Donnie pinched the bridge of his eyebrows as a weak attempt to calm himself. "How the heck are you still sounding like this, the microphone I built was perfect andー," Donatello climbed out of the window to see why the audio was still distorted. He craned his neck sideways to look for the tank. He saw a portion of it and he pushed out more of his upper body out of the window. He thought he heard a whistle from behind him, but he dismissed it as the wind.Looking left, he saw April and S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. recording inside the tank and laughing. Donatello squinted his eyes and saw that Raph was in a position much like him. The whole upper body out of the tank's window, Raph was almost hugging the order machine with how close he was talking into it.
"What?! The?! Fuck?!" Donnie yelled. "No one ever orders like that, Raph. What the actual fu-!"

"Thanks for coming, April." Raph greets with a toothy smile. He adjusts the tray so he can hold it upright with a hand, his free one gesturing his new guest welcomingly. "Sorry it was a bit sudden, we really needed the help."April shakes her head no and connects her fist to Raph's. "No worries! I had an open time. Also," she steps sideways, eyes dramatically stretching to her companion. "I brought a rookie.""Vermin," Cassandra greets with no bite. Though their fighting days were over, the nickname remains as a friendly one, although rarely used. "I am ready to be of assistance as of today!"Raph blinks for a few seconds, not knowing how to react. "Really? You wanna work here?"Cassandra salutes, the stomp of her foot loud. It catches the attention of a few surrounding customers, both yokais and humans. "Absolutely! It will be my GREATEST PLEASURE!"An orange clad box turtle peaks his head out of the kitchen doors from the small disturbance with a bowl of mixture and a whisk. Mikey gives out an excited squeal and stops his mixing. "Oh-mi-gosh! Our frenemy is going to work here?!"It was then that Leonardo skids towards the commotion, his barista apron flying like a cape with the momentum. "Hold it, are we seriously considering this?"Raph hummed in thought. "Oh, yeah. You gotta go through staff training first, Casey." He says to the former foot clan recruit. "It's in Donnie's staffs' rule book.""Are you implying that I am incapable of simple work?" Cassandra's tone sounds threatening but her teasing look says otherwise.
Donnie steps out of the drive-through cubicle and stretches. Overhearing the conversation, he decides to step in. "No, it's just mandatory. Even April went through one.""Uhm, we all did." Leo adds as-a-matter-of-factly. "But are we sure we need one more sailor on this ship?"April crosses her arms. "Leo," she says cautiously.Donnie gives Leo a look. He can see it in the slider that he isn't serious about not wanting Cassandra to join. "You're just here to procrastinate on your job." He accuses.Leo huffs and pouts, and then he gives Donnie a playful look. "Or, maybe I'm here to look at you."Donnie's fingers twitches, almost curling into a fist.
Smooth and cute, FUCK,
he thinks to himself. He turns to give Cassandra a look before an idea pops into his head. "Casey can handle the bar. Leo, train her."Donnie knew Leo loves his role as both the bartender and the barista, and he knows that there are times when Leo is very overwhelmed with one role or the other. The extra hands could be useful. After all, Donnie cares about Leo. Despite his emotionally unavailable bad boy image, of course. So when he sees Leo's eyes light up in slight excitement and appreciation, Donnie allows himself to show a smile.
Jackpot."Alright! Let's get shakin'! Casey, come with me." He says and yet does not wait for the human.April lays her hand on Cassandra's shoulder with a proud smile. "Hell yeah, Casey! You got the job. C'mon, I'll lend you my extra uniform." She starts to guide their new hire and she meets Donnie's eyes. "Let me just change and I'll take over for you, Donnie. Go take a break."Raph pokes Donnie's arm to get his attention and offers him a glass of water. He accepts it silently and graciously. "What about you, big guy? Took your break yet?"Raph waves a hand with a 'pssh'. "Pops and Draxum will be coming soon, Mikey and I will take our breaks then. In the mean time, go sit down and get some rest. I'm sure S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. would love to take your order."Donnie gives a dry laugh, but he means it friendly. "Hah, okay."Raph nudges him brotherly. "You deserve it."

"Donnie!" S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. greets cheerfully, doing a perfect 360 rotation without dropping the drinks on his shell."Shelly!" Donnie greets back with the same energy. "You' doing okay, bud?""Yeah!" S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. answers, his robotic eyes glittered. S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. 3.0 has a more expressive face than the previous one did. When the Shredder blew him up when he was protecting Karai, Donnie only saw a disembodies head and it crushed him on the inside. S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. is like a son to Donnie, and he won't admit to anyone that his Shelly gets a little more attention from Donnie compared to anyone else.Except Leo, maybe. Gun to his head, Donnie would maybe admit that.
And S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. knows it too."I even brought you the 'Donnie Special'! One flavorless juice." Much like Donnie's own battle shell, a smaller version of arm extension emerged from S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. and placed the said juice down perfectly, like a good waiter he is.
Pride swelled in Donnie's chest and he smiles. He can't stop himself from giving a pet on S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. head. "Thanks, buddy. You've been working for a while now, don't you want to rest?"
S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. shakes his head. "Nah, I'm fine. I'll be able to rest once we get back to the lair anyway. Besides," he hover-leans in closer to Donnie's ear to whisper. "Raph and I have a bet. Whoever gets the most customers served, gets to skip the vacuuming."
Donnie hums in acknowledgement as he sips on his juice. "I see," he gives out a smirk of encouragement. "Beat his ass then, Shelly."S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. laughs, feeling more confident and boosted with Donnie's words. "Yeah, I will.""Excuse me," a human customer calls out from a different table. Donnie and S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. glances at where the call came from before looking at each other for a split second.
Donnie gives one more encouraging nod of his head and S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. mirrors him, a grin seemingly forms on his face. "Be right with you, customer!" He shouts out before Raph gets to beat him.
"BOOYAKASHA!" He cheers out as he zooms towards the table.Donnie chuckles to himself as he watches S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. glide away, setting down his juice on his table. He notices a pair of eyes on him and he looks up at the bar to see Leonardo. He was smiling fondly, like he just witnessed a very private and wholesome moment. Even with the great distance, his eyes are seen twinkling. And not with mischief this time.
His and Donnie's eyes meet for a mere second. Leo's smiles grow even bigger. Donnie pretends to growl and hides his warming snout in his palms as he looks away. He doesn't need to look to know that Leo is probably giggling at him.
His face flushes even more at the thought.

Donnie's break is over, but neither Splinter nor Draxum is at their store. A quick check into their phone's gps with his gauntlet says that they were stuck in traffic, so they had no reason to panic.
He offers to cover for Raph at least until his break ends. The headphones gave him a little headache, and his ears felt a little swollen. Although, it is probably his imagination, but he appreciates a break from it.Raph told him to be the one at the till, and that he has no need to serve the customers. S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. could do it, after all. Donnie asks if that was a good idea when their bet has yet to come to a conclusion.
"Oh, no," Raph grins challengingly. "If I get a break, he gets a break. Fair's fair, after all."Donnie agrees. He wants to thank Raph for even thinking of letting S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. get a break. "Go rest already," is what he says instead.
But Raph knows what he wants to say, so he smiles gently. "Yeah, yeah."

Donnie was not unfamiliar with the till. It was arguably the easiest part role in the store. But the stress of customer service gets worse here than on the drive-through cubicle.
Customers come and go and he serves them both their dine-in and take-out. Mikey is an absolute beast in the kitchen. He can do it quick and perfect each and every time, with any dish that he makes. Donnie suspects he had private cooking lesson sessions with Meat Sweats, but he disregards it as pure skill and talent. It was all Mikey, after all. However, he did not know that being on the till has a new sub-role. Mikey comes out every so often from the kitchen and asks Donnie to taste whatever something new that Mikey is experimenting on.
So far it is all spectacular, as always. But some are with slimy looking textures that Don knows how that would feel like when it sticks to his lips, so he has to decline. Thankfully, Mikey is not deterred. He understands why Don is reluctant to try it out. He saves it for Raph or Leo to taste it instead.
When a fox yokai that suspiciously looked like one of Big Mama's staff left with over a dozen of take-outs, Mikey barges out of the kitchen once again. The customers dining in were unfazed by the loud swinging of the doors, already accustomed to the energetic turtle's shenanigans."Dee! This is a new dessert I'm working on, tell me what it tastes!" Mikey says with a spoon already in Donnie's face."Y'know, I'm beginning to wonder how you're always on great timing. It's always when a customer leaves, you come out with something new and make me taste it. Are you looking out the kitchen window orー,""Just taste it." Doctor Feelings suddenly comes out and says. Donnie wordlessly accepts his fate and opens his mouth for the spoon.
The dessert is strangely smooth. It is very sweet with a hint of coconut, but a certain sour-like taste balances out the overall flavor. Coconut and Sourness are two very weird combination, but they somehow work out perfectly. Donnie even let out a moan of how good it tastes.
"Mikey, this is amazing!" He unintentionally gushes out. Doctor Feelings disappeared and Michelangelo is back, grinning widely. "It's really amazing! What is this?"Mikey smugly cheeks his nails dramatically. "Something new. I'm still working out the presentation and the name, but I thought of a few."Donnie arches a brow, "Oh yeah?" He swallows the last of the taste. "Like what?"Mikey twirls the spoon in his fingers. "Oh, nothing much. I'm thinking of calling it, the 'Blue-and-Purple Delight'! Or maybe 'Blurple Rock'. Not sure."
Donnie checks for a customer and sees none, so he turns his body to face Mikey. "Blue and purple? Why those colors?"Mikey cheekily smiles and shrugs his shoulders. "I dunno. Probably because this dessert is inspired by two certain someone."
Donnie thinks. "You mean Splinter and Draxum?"Mikey freezes. His head slowly turns to level Donnie with the largest disappointed and disgusted look on his face. "What."Donnie shrugs one shoulder. "You said two people and I started guessing."Mikey blinks emptily at him. He raises a finger and his mouth opens and closes repeatedly, as if he wants to say something but is physically holding himself back.
Donnie raises his brow again. "Micheal?"Mikey stops and his finger curls into the rest of his fist, sighing loudly. "Let it go, Mikey." He chants to himself. "Let it go," he says again as he steps into the kitchen to disappear once more.Donnie thinks the whole ordeal is odd. But a customer calls his attention and he forgoes any more thoughts.
He hasn't realize that Leo had looked at him, before he turns his attention back to teaching Cassandra the proper way of using a stirring spoon for cocktails.

"Excuse me,"Donnie looks up from his gauntlet to see a white rabbit of a yokai at the till. He remembers he ordered a latte to go. His eyes scans the rabbit yokai's hands for the drink and sees it. "Hello, sir. Is there a problem with your order?"The rabbit smiles that radiances patience and shyness. Donnie waits for an answer as he taps on the counter. The yokai's expression then shifts, turning into bashfulness. "Ah, no. The drink is great. Exquisite, even. Erm," the rabbit's ear flickered subtly, but Don's eye managed to catch it. "I apologize if my question seems a little unorthodox, but I wonder of that lovely barista's name over there?" He points shortly towards the cafe area, and Don looks to the side as well."Oh, you must mean Cassandra? I apologize if she has made any sort of mistake, it's her first day today, andー,""Actually," the rabbit interrupts. Interrupts. "I meant the other one? Over there." He points again.Donnie feels himself go stiff and does not look at who the yokai is pointing at immediately. He already knows who the rabbit was talking about. "You mean," he pauses as he looks the rabbit in the eyes. "Leonardo?"The rabbit's eyes brightens at the sound of Leo's name. Donnie clenches the edge of the till's counter subconsciously. "Leonardo," the yokai breathes out softly.Donnie wants to punch him.The rabbit shuffles to reach out a piece of paper with writing. "May I perhaps ask," he pauses as if he was suddenly ashamed of his own request. Donatello thinks he should be. Better yet, for him to leave and never return. "To hand this to Leonardo?"Donnie wants to rip his mouth with the way he says Leonardo's name. It makes something inside him burn, and it takes a split second to understand it is something alongside of rage. His snout wants to curl into a sneer, but he wills himself not to.
With shaky hands with anger, he slowly takes the paper. "Of course." He replies curtly. He is still on the clock, he is forbidden to do anything that will harm the store's reputation. Or even the simple moral code. The rabbit smiles thankfully and says nothing as he walks out of the store.
Donatello opens the paper and sees a phone number. His fists shake as the feeling inside him grew.
Ah, he realizes.
I'm jealous. He is about to rip the note into bits when suddenly another pair of hands snatched it away. In his hands were a wooden ladle instead. Donnie's head whips quickly that it is a miracle it does not break. Mikey, with the paper now in his hand, skips away to the barista corner. "Leo got a number~!" He chants with a song.Raph, resting on the bar stool, overhears and screams, "WHAT?!"Leo and Casey raises their heads towards Mikey. Mikey runs over to show the paper, and Donatello watches as Casey, Mikey, and Raph tease the slider.
Donnie hears himself growl.
"What's this about Leo getting a number?!" April suddenly asks from behind him. Donnie suspects she overheard Mikey and ran from her station.
Donnie takes one last glance at Leo, who's face seemed notably redder.
Donnie breaks the ladle in his hand, ignoring the splinters it left.
He marches over to where April stands, heading towards the drive-through window. "I'm taking over. You go by the till, April."

The rabbit yokai comes back the next time they were open.
And Donnie is on break. He watches the yokai seem to beeline towards the cafe corner after he ordered at the counter till. Raph was training Cassandra at the till today, so Leo is alone at the cafe.
Donnie's hand clenches around the plastic cup of juice. He blinks and glances down. Strange, he thinks to himself. They always serve with glasses and never plastic. He searches for S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. and sees that there are no other plastic cups like he has.The clever boy must have switched his.He looks back up again and sees Leo handing the cup of latte the rabbit ordered. The rabbit initiates a conversation. Leo, ever the face man, chats back with a friendly face. Charisma at a hundred percent.
Donatello's fist clenches again, and is surprised to feel a stress ball instead. When did S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. swap out the crumpled cup?

Since the rabbit yokai, more and more yokais and humans alike have seemed to ask for Leonardo's number. And the number of creepy watchers from the outside the cafe window had increased as they watch Leonardo work.Donnie could hear the whistles and catcalls even far out from the drive-through machine's microphones. He silently thanks the fact that no one inside the store could hear it. Especially Leo.But Leo, with all the praise, seems to bask in it. It's starting to make Donnie mad.
And he cannot do anything about it.He and Cassandra are taking their breaks together, Casey finally done with the training. She's appointed to be Leo's second-in-command (as she demands to call her that) at the bar, but she sometimes help out at the till and the cafe.
The table shakes violently as Donnie slams his fist on it, watching a human girl giggle as she receives a paper from Leo. Cassandra sips her tea loudly at Donnie, and he ignores it."It's all fake."It takes him six seconds to realize Cassandra has spoken. And another two to realize she was talking to him. He blinks, "What?" he glances down at their shared table to see a now crushed almond cookie. "Oh, sorry.""No worries, you can have it anyway." Cassandra says. She sips on her tea loudly again, and Donnie meets her pointed look.
"What's fake?" he starts again, slightly feeling bad that he didn't hear her from the start.Cassandra smiles coyly. "The numbers."Donnie blinks with an arched eyebrow, silently waiting for her to continue.
"Each number he writes out." She sips from her tea for what it feels like a minute. "It's all random."The muscle under Donnie's right eye twitches. "So, why does he still humor these people? If he doesn't like them asking his number?"Cassandra's coy smile widened. "Who says he doesn't like them?"Donnie's mouth drops open. "So, does?"Cassandra says nothing and looks away."Casey!"She still says nothing.
Donnie's eyes squints maliciously at her. "Do you know something?""Maybe.""Is he doing this on purpose?""Maybe."Donnie grunts in frustrations as he rubs his face a little roughly. "Are you going to tell me?"She chuckles. "Nuh uh."Donnie's fists shakes with anger before April plops herself down in between them. "Break! Sweet, heavenly break," she sighs and rests her cheek on her palm. Slowly, she turns to look at Donatello.
"Donnie.""April." He greets back a little coldly, but his coldness is not directed at her or Cassandra. He is frustrated at Leo, for his shenanigans. And at himself, for not being able to do anything. He feels his best friend bumps her knees at his. He looks down at her. She smiles coyly as well."So, Leo got like ten numbers from today.""I'm leaving, cover my shift."He leaves the table in a hurry and beelines to the door. He bumps into Draxum and doesn't bother with apologizing as he throws his apron at the Warrior Sorcerer and walks out.

Cassandra and April watches him go, knowing better than to stop a fuming Donnie.
"He needs to get his shit together." Casey comments."I hear that." April agrees.Draxum walks up to them, "Has he not done anything towards the slider yet?"

Donnie did not know where he went or how long he was out for, but by the time he calmed down, it was already dark. Rubbing his face with his hands, he flies back towards the shop with his battle shell. As expected, no one was inside. It was past closing time, after all. And they wouldn't be open on the next day. He sighs to himself as he fishes out the emergency keys to the store from his battle shell. It was the day for his weekly maintenance check. He was supposed to do it during daylight, but since he stormed out, he had no choice but to do it overtime.
He didn't bother to switch on the lights, deciding to use his goggles instead. He went behind the till to get the clipboard from the drawer. He wondered if he was going to be reprimanded for his actions when he goes back to the lair.He pushed away the thought, and instead started to do his work.He inspects the open floor first. His goggles, alongside the night vision aspect, helps to see any lingering dirt. He checked out the box after he scanned the whole floor.
Floor Maintenance. ✔︎
H moved to the drive-through window-cubicle and saw it neat and spotless. April outdid herself, he could almost see the cleanliness of the space shine in the dark. He thought that with exaggeration, of course.
Drive-through Maintenance. ✔︎
He swooped into the kitchen, intentionally pushing the swinging doors a little too hard. Just to let off a few remaining steam.
He already knew the kitchen would be spotless, especially with Draxum coming into help that day. But just to make sure, he still scanned the room anyway. He spots a piece of paper on the counter. He curiously picked it up and opened it.It contained a random person's number, and it was signed off with 'To Leo❤︎'.He burned it with his goggles' laser.
Kitchen Maintenance. ✖️
He dreaded where he had to check next, already assuming a lot more of those garbage. But, he was a responsible turtle. And it was his job.
So he went to check the bar and cafe.
The bar was oddly spotless, and he suspected it was all Cassandra's work. Although, he noticed one bottle of Jack Daniel's was missing, and he suspected his father came to visit. He chuckles dryly at that thought, writing down a note on the clipboard of Splinter's thievery.

Bar Maintenance. ✔︎
He glanced up towards the cafe corner, feeling a little heartbroken already.
If only Donnie could be open about what he feels towards the slider. Or even at least have the courage to prevent the demand on Leo's number. No one else would ever know.
He could put up a rule, 'No Sharing of Staffs' Private Information'. But he knew that was a little tyrannical. They were all free to do whatever they want, of course. He just wanted Leo all to himself.
He groaned at his weakness, striding towards the cafe corner.
He could just install a filter on the cafe's open window, so no one outside could stare at Leo as he worked. Sure, Donnie knew Leo was against it, but at least no one could look at him like that again. No one but Donnie. He pinched the space between his eyebrows. "Jesus, I'm a mess." He said to himself. "I really need to be less possessive."He lowered his goggles one more time and scanned the cafe corner. He sees a thermos cup on the counter edge, nearest to the window. His eyebrow arched as he raised his goggles, walking closer to the curious cup.He picked it up and noted that it was heavy, full with liquid. He flicks the lid open and immediately feels the hot, steamy aroma of espresso. "Huh," was all he said.
He glanced back down on the counter and saw a note. He groaned and was already grabbing it to tear it to shreds when he noticed his name on it. He paused and glanced between the note and cup. There was a crescent shaped stain of coffee on the paper, probably from the thermos cup. He pushed down his glasses with the hand holding the note to read it in the dark.

To Donnie,
From Neon Leon.A mechanical arm reached out from his battle shell to push back his glasses on top of his head. A smile tugged on his lips, rereading the short message on note lovingly. Leo leaving him coffee meant he knew that Donnie was going to come back. That he was thinking about Donnie. His heart stuttered from the thought. The letter, which was surprisingly not written on a napkin, but on an actual paper. Leonardo went through the extra effort to get an actual piece of paper (and not even from Leo's notepad for notes that was always in his pocket!) just to let Donnie know that the coffee was for him.
Don's thumb brushed over the note, already thinking of preserving the physical proof of Leo's kindness. He let out a giggle, just a short one. "Oh, Leo," he breathed out softly, like Leo's name was sacred.
He was alone, after all. He could afford to outwardly express the love he felt for the slider.
"You called?"
Or he could not.
Donnie whipped his head around to see the slider resting on his dual katana, the crackle of Leo's mystic portal dispersing in the air. Leo had a smug look on his face, and Donnie couldn't help the blood rising to his face. He held on to the thermos just a little tighter "How long have you been standing there?"Leo's smirk widened, "Not long, Papi."Donnie shivered. But he willed himself to be tougher. He cleared his throat, placing down the thermos as well. "You shouldn't be out here this late. You're supposed to be resting."Leo ignored him and rested his twin katana against a counter. "I missed you today, you suddenly walked out." He looked up to meet Donnie's eyes.
Donnie looked away, hands shaking with uncertainty of what to do with them. "Yes. Well, I had to calm down." His eyes scanned outside the not-yet-tainted window. The moon shone brightly outside, a clear indicator of a clear night sky.
Leo stood beside him now, Donnie could feel his presence. But still, he made no eye contact. "Calm down? From what?"Donnie scoffed. Turning around, he decided to take hold of the clipboard from the counter once more. "You wouldn't get it."He heard Leo chuckle behind him. "Oh, I think I would, even just a bit." Leo shrugged nonchalantly but Donnie did not see, "I'm no brainiac like you, but I'm pretty sharp too."Donnie stubbornly refused to gaze at him, eyes glued to the checklist he already ran through so much that he memorized the contents by heart. "That's a nice thought."Leo was silent for a moment and Donnie remained stubborn. Then, suddenly he was pulled by the collar to face the slider, forcing him to face the other. He leaned back with his weight so Donnie and his' face wouldn't be too close.Leo pushed himself with his toes so he could sit on the counter, the full open window behind him. He let go of Donnie's collar with his signature smirk, cocking his head to the side. "Jealousy is a good look on you, Papi," he said innocently. He straightens out Donnie's shirt and the collar, as if he did not just pull on it. "Almost as good as this uniform."Donatello's brow's furrowed. "Don't toy with me, Leo." Donnie said warningly, but he was the one getting nervous. "You don't know me."Leo rolled his eyes. "Oh, but I do."
His legs suddenly caged around Donnie's waist, pulling him a little closer. "I know you more than anyone." A weird noise from the back of Donnie's throat escaped from the sudden pull, and another round of embarrassment flared inside the soft shell.Donnie's heart went rampant inside his chest, his eyes darting quickly between Leo's eyes, not sure where to look. His breathing stopped for a split second as he clutched the clipboard tighter against his plastron. Donnie heard Leo suck his teeth."I know how you feel, Donnie baby," Leo started. "I know how you look at me when you think I'm not looking. I know how you spoil me, even just a little. Just like the special controller you made for me when Raph broke mine. Remember that?" Leo prompted. Donnie remembered, he made a Leo's controller
a longer lasting battery. It was always the one thing that Leo loudly complained about.Donnie thought it wasn't anything big, he didn't think Leo would notice the difference of it from all their other gaming console's controllers. Leo turns his head to seek Donnie's eyes and made contact, "I know how you feel about meー,"Donnie slammed his hands beside Leo, further lessening their space and caging the slider between him. The slider looked up at him with gentle eyes, but Don's arms were shaking.
"You," he took heavy breaths. "You have no idea how I feel!"
Donnie shuts his eyes, searching for a way to steady his heartbeat. His fist curls more, leaving crescent marks on the palm of his hands. "You don't know what I feel," he said a bit weakly. "You can't possibly," he trailed off.He prepared himself for the worse. This was the part that Leo would laugh boisterously, come out with a camera in his chest pocket, shun him in front of the people they knew and loved. Where Donnie would be forced to leave New York City and change his identity. Or jump off a cliff. Donnie knew that someday, if Leo ever finds out about his dirty little secret, he would lose everything. He was already prepared to keep that secret with him until his last breath.A hand edged its way on Donnie's cheek, and he slowly opened his wet eyes. Tears threatened to form as he blinked a couple of times. He slowly glanced down, and saw Leo with no sign of mischief. No smug looks, no smirk, no nothing.Leo's thumb brushed under his eye a couple of times gently. Reassuringly. Comforting. His eyes roamed Leo's face, looking for any sign that this was another one of the slider's pranks. "This isn't something you should joke about, Leo." Donnie said, shaky. He resisted to curl more into Leo's palm. "Not this."The hand beat him to it. The increased warmth on his cheek prompted Donnie to look into Leo's eyes.
It held the same nervousness that Donnie had.Leo's eyes shifted. And Donnie's eyes widened."No," he said, disbelievingly.Leo only smiled, the one that reached his eyes. The one with his eyes twinkling. The one with the kissable wrinkles at the sides of his eyes."No," Donnie said again, breathlessly that time.Leo, out of all people, turned his head sideways to look away bashfully. His cheeks went red. His smile had a hint of uncertainty with it."Oh."They remained like that, for a little while.
Donnie felt a grin slowly, millimetre by millimetre, form on his lips.
Leo glanced back up at Donnie and guised his nervousness with a poor excuse of an exaggerated eye roll. "Okay, now you're the one who's being all smug and shit."Donnie breathed out ofーjoy? Relief? He couldn't quite tell. He could find the time to do so later."You do too?" He asked, breathlessly. He searched Leo’s eyes, hoping for a confirmation.
Leo's face went even redder, but to his credit he still made eye contact with Donnie, who looked like he was about to combust with that much radiating joy. "Look, you're a smart guy, Dee. You don't really need me to spell it out for youー,""Say it," Donnie said, giddy. He felt he was high on cloud nine. He slowly lowered himself down, his elbows bending."What? C'mon! There is, literally, no need to say it out loud. I mean, you already figured it out! Sure, it took you fucking years, but at least nowー,""Say it, say it, say it, say it," he was full on giggling when Don said it, and he found himself not caring."Fine! Jesus, okay!" Leo said as if he was bored, but the blush on his face and the dopey smile on his lips said otherwise. Leo leveled himself to look at Donnie. Donnie thought he was vibrating with how happy he was then."I," Leo started but paused, taking a deep breath. "I love you too, Dee."Donnie bit down on his bottom lip just to stop himself from giggling again like a love-struck fool (but he is) when he suddenly paused. "Wait, 'too'? But I haven't even said-!"Leo suddenly surged up, pressing his lips up on Donnie's.
It ended as quickly as it happened.Donnie furrowed his eyebrows at the abrupt end of it and followed Leo's lips for more. But Leo held a finger on his lips. "I only said that because I know you love me for years!" Leo said with a genuine eye roll this time. “I knew. For, like, a really long time.”Donnie stared at him. And then he blinked.Leo sighed, "Honestly, it's impressive. How long you were simping, I mean."Donnie opened and closed his mouth, finding words to say.
"Iー, whaー, if you knew this whole time then why—""And," Leo continued, pulling Donnie's waist even closer with his legs. "I can't believe it takes strangers asking for my number, just so you could open up! I mean sure, I had to pull you in like this so you'd talk, but still."Donnie frowned, a little pained. "You knew I was feeling sad about it but you still accepted their numbers?"Leo chuckled nervously. "To be honest, I like the attention."Donnie's eye twitched. "Attention whore."Leo laughed at that, unaffected. "Ouch. But no, not their attention." Donnie accepted another short kiss from the slider before he continued, he bent down to meet Leo halfway this time. "You. The way you look at me, when they ask for my number. Or when they give theirs. I wasn't lying,"Donnie arched an eyebrow at the sudden display of bashfulness Leo was showing. "The way you look when you're jealous, it kinda...y'know," he swallowed his own saliva when Leo paused, "It kinda turns me on."The sudden and slight spike of arousal pheromones in the air (that was Leo's) had Donnie inhale long and loud. His cock jumpstarted inside his slit, and he forced himself to calm down.He bends down to kiss Leo on the lips, his tongue crossed against Leo's bottom lip. The slider refused to open his mouth, his last attempt at teasing the soft shell. A small growl escaped Donnie, and he settled instead for tugging Leo's bottom lip before he let go.He places his snout to Leo's neck breathing in his natural scent. He laid kissed from there until the back of Leo's ear. "My lovely, attention whore." Donnie whispered. The scent of arousal spiked even more, and Donnie couldn't resist the urge to nibble on Leo's neck.
It earned him a tease of what heaven sounded like.
Donnie lets go and kisses the spot. "Maybe someday, I'll fuck you right here. Right where people see you. Right where you loved to be looked at.""Donnie," Leo breathed out."But not now," he said, full of love. He moved back so he could see Leo's eyes again. And they mirrored exactly what Donnie felt. "I just want to enjoy this."Comfortable silence stretched out after, basking them like a blanket."Are we," Donnie asked, suddenly unsure with his previous surge of confidence. "Are we okay?"Leo only smiled, so full with love and understanding. "More than okay."Donnie took a shaky breath. He was going to say it. He was. He really was.He held Leo's cheek with a hand, guiding him so they were almost kissing again.
"Leo," he started, voice suddenly calm and steady. "I love you. I always have, for years."Leo blinked. And blinked again.
And then his eyes suddenly shone. The moonlight outside the cafe corner's open window illuminated the twinkle of his eyes. Tears were forming at the corners of Leo's eyes. Donnie bent down to kiss each tears of joy that started to trickle down."You said it," Leo whispered, like he imagined it happen."I did," Donnie said, kissing Leo's forehead. "And I'm about to say it again."

"I love you, Leo."

Café Maintenance. ❤︎

Giddy like a love-stricken higschooler, Donatello and Leo stumbled into their own home. Tripping and falling against each other and catching each other with their lips stuck in wide smiles. Bickering like how they always do, but their hands clasped around the other's tightly, seemingly never wanting to let go.
They tried to be sneaky as they head into the kitchen, shushing the other with held-back laughter like they were young teenagers again. "Jesus, Leo. Do you even know how to walk?"Leo snorted uglily, but Donnie did not think so. "Then help me up, Papi."However, hidden from his couch sat Splinter. Draxum stood beside the rat as the two watched the turtles bicker back and forth with their puppy eyes. They watched them disappear into the kitchen, as it seemed that neither had noticed the pair of observers.Draxum sipped loudly from the tea he cradled in his hands, his eyes not wavering from where Leo and Donnie disappeared into. "They have really awful spatial awareness when distracted," he noted to the rat.Splinter only sighed, agreeing. "Yes. I should make a mental note to train those two again, as it seems. But first," he reaches out a hand to the Warrior Sorcerer. "I believe I am now in possession of thirty human bucks."
Draxum groaned in defeat as he summoned a spell, and out comes a wallet. "Humans and their materialistic ideology of money."

"Ma'am, ma'am, as I've said for exactly five minutes now, we do not serve customers on Wednesdays, because we do not OPEN on Wednesdays. And so, your claim cannot be true." Donnie forced himself to say through gritted teeth."That's bullcrap! I came here every Wednesday and it was always open! I want my refund." A short woman with big brown hair yelled. She pushed up her shades on her eyes, foot stomping like a toddler. "The sandwich was rancid! I said I wanted a ham sandwich with bacon instead of ham, and you still gave me ham!"Donatello pinched the space in between his forehead. "Again, Ma'am, we apologize for any inconvenience our humble store may or may not have done. But we do not open on Wednesdays, we never opened on Wednesdays, and we never will. Are you sure you brought that sandwich here?"Michelangelo and Raphael shuffled around in the kitchen behind Donnie. He heard Mikey whisper to Raph, "We don't even serve sandwiches."Donnie heard Raph whisper back, "We should work on that, sandwiches are good. Have it by the cafe side.""Oh! Great idea, Raph!" Mikey whispered back.Donnie curled his hands into a fist."Isn't the customer always right? Whatever happened to that law?" The lady customer said again, foot repeatedly stomping in an off-beat rhythm. "Just give me my refund and get this over with!"Donnie, who couldn't hold in any longer, slammed a fist on the till's counter. "Ma'am! I don't know what language do I have to use when speaking to you, or for you to understand, but we don't open on Wednesdays! 水曜日は営業してません! ¡No abrimos los miércoles! Wir haben mittwochs nicht geöffnet! 我们在周三不营业! I don't know what else to tell you.""Holy shit," Cassandra chuckled in awe. She elbowed Leo on his side as they watched from the cafe corner, "How many languages does he speak?"Leo, with a fond smile on his face, replied, "All of it, I think."April propped herself up on the mop and fished out her phone, "I'm just gonna record this."The lady customer was taken aback by the sudden outburst from Donatello. It took only three seconds for her to recover, and she pointed a finger threateningly at Donatello. "How dare you! I'll get you fired for this! Manager!" She called out to the entire store. "Manager!"Donnie groaned out loud. "Ma'am, if you could just leave our premises, we are on the verge of closing.""Don't you interrupt me!" The customer screeched. "Where is your manager? Get me your manager!"Donnie placed his hand together on his snout and took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a quick second. "You want the manager?" He asked, suddenly his voice calm. "Okay, ma'am. Let me go get the manager.""Oh my god, this is gonna be so good." Mikey laughed from the kitchen door window, patting Raph's back as the snapping turtle gave a chuckle as well."Are we not gonna stop him?" Leo turned to ask April and Casey."Nah, let him be." Was what April replied.Donatello stepped back once, making a show of straightening his uniform. He gave the customer one last glance before he turned around. And again he faced her."I AM THE MANAGER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT!" He stated strongly, almost hovering over the till.

Splinter felt a chill run down his spine as he sipped on his tea at the lair. "Something tells me it was a good idea to let Purple be the manager today."

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Leo has been, in a word, insatiable.Normally that would not bother Donnie in the slightest. As annoying and needy his Leo may be, it would kill the soft shell to even say that the feeling was reciprocated. He gets it, he really does.
He, too, would love nothing more than to ravish the smug smile off Leo.But alas, time has not been kind to Donnie. Keeping aside the usual frantic chaos of their lovely family shop, the number of late night vigilance has spiked up over the course of few months. Whatever hive mind (he guesses Big Mama, but it's all speculation in the mean time) was calling the shots was sure to have big plans in mind. Sleep wasn't scarce, but it was slowly becoming rare. Nothing that the Mad Dogs (Donnie begs Leo to change it, please. But Leo loves being an ass) can't handle with a few bumps and bruises.
It does not mean he and Leo haven't sneaked a kiss or two, maybe even a handjob. Excluding all the moments where literally everyone they know has cockblocked them in more than one occasion.Nonetheless, the thrill was exhilarating. The sneaking out, the hushed voices, Leo's plump and bruised lips from biting down on it to keep his moans in. They way Leo's body twitches with each caress of his hands that just drives Donnie insaneー"Yo, lover boy!"Donnie swings his head towards the newly installed glass panel from the take-out booth. April leers at him with a faux disgusted look, her scrunched apron in one hand. She raises a brow at him, and Don feels embarrassment slowly crawling up on his back."You feel your sins crawling on your back," she says as she deepened her voice. Her glasses glints against the natural light from Donnie's window. He rolls his eyes as he stood from the squeaky chair."Don't quote Undertale at me," he says, squashing down the embarrassment of being caught daydreaming. He slides open the panel and tips the uniform hat April wore downwards. He stalks off for his break, silent denial heard between the two of them."Go to horny jail!" April whisper-screeches to him with a large grin. Donnie grimaces and shoots his middle finger at her. April guffaws instead, and Donnie feels the rush of blood towards his face. So, he may be frustrated. April can shut up about it anyway.

"Leo, I love you, man. But please, for the love of all things good, do not stare at your man's ass at work."Leo snorts uglily and moved his eye-line away from Donnie's walking figure. He denies the fact that he looked, and he ignores the fact that Casey knew he was looking. He grabs a mug and a wash towel instead, making a show of drying it. "You're hallucinating. I would never."Cassandra makes a face at him. He turns his back at her with a whistle."Jesus, dude. Can't you go one day without letting your dick think for you?" She muses behind him as she froths milk for an order.
Leo gasps loudly, swishing the towel over his shoulder to dramatically place a hand on his chest. "Oh, you wound me, CJ! Terribly so!" He swoons cheekily.
Cassandra glares as she continues to make a cappuccino without a glance. Leo should be proud that she manages to do that without looking, he was the one who taught her after all. But he figures he should calm his teasing down in the meantime, with how terrifying her gaze became."Alright, alright. No more lovey-dovey lookies for my hunk of a man for a while," he says with a grin. He places down the towel dried mug. "Call in the order for me, please?"Cassandra snorts, just as uglily as he did a while ago. She calls the name of the customer, and Leo lets her deal with it as he rinses out the blenders.
The rush was slow for that day. Not much of a rush and more of a flow. He thinks that calling in all staff (a.k.a literally everyone on the team) is a little overkill. He looks up to scan around the establishment, a sense of peace suddenly swarmed inside him. He sees S.H.E.L.D.O.N zoom from the kitchen to where Donnie sat, taking his fifteen.
He notices Cassandra beside him suddenly, and Leo flinches. "You're looking at him again," she notes with light playfulness in her tone.He opens his mouth to deny it, but Cassandra squints her eyes. He opts to shut up instead, at least he has the decency to be sorry about it this time. He smiles sheepishly at her.She rolls her eyes. "Clearly you are unable to focus. You should take a break and gather yourself before coming back to man your station."Leo chuckles, "You talk like you're the boss of me! You know, I'm quite chummy with the manager." Not to mention practically the co-founder, he thinks to himself.Cassandra stays silent, gaze still strong, and Leo realizes she meant business.
He stood straight suddenly, all feelings of playful superiority gone. "Oh, ok. I'll take my twenty!"Cassandra raises a brow, "Whaーtwenty?! You should, actually y'know what? I'll cover you. Just get your head on."Leo grins and kisses the air from her cheek, giving a loud, fake kiss as an appreciation. Cassandra makes a show of being disgusted from the act, shoving him off. "Thanksiloveyouioweyou see ya' CJ!"He swiftly unties his apron and let it fall to the floor, knowing Casey would stop it with her foot, and ran away."I am so telling Mikey," she mutters to herself.

"Thanks, S.H.E.L.D.O.N." Donnie says, pocketing his phone.S.H.E.L.D.O.N's machinery whirs quietly, anyone else would not be able to hear it. Anyone but Donnie, of course. He listens to the soft whirs, as he pats S.H.E.L.D.O.N's metallic head. "Aren't you taking a break yet, son? Don't overheat." He warns softly.S.H.E.L.D.O.N's eyes slants, indicating a smile. "Aw, I'm fine, Dee. Don't worry about me," he makes a show of waving one drone wheel, as if rolling one's shoulder.
Donnie feels himself smile. "If you say so, bud." S.H.E.L.D.O.N beams at him again and went off to serve the other customers. Donatello sips on his (flavorless) juice as his eyes tails his robotic son. He passes by the cafe-slash-bar side and sees Leo backing away from Casey. Don thinks that he, no doubt, pissed Cassandra again. He feels a chuckle rise out of him, enamored by Leo's usual antics. He glances at his watch and clicks his tongue. He doesn't feel the need of taking a break, not yet anyway. Donnie glances at the manager's office, sadly tucked away between the broom closet and the toilet. He makes yet another mental note of pitching the idea of remodeling the layout of the store, just to spare him the awkward interaction of toilet-goers as he enters and leaves the manager's office.
He stood from his seat, juice in one hand, as he walks over to said office. He loosens his tie as he takes continuous sips.He maneuvers over tables and customers heading in and out of the bathroom stalls. His glass already goes empty just as he arrived outside the door. He frowns, thinking about taking extra steps to hand it over in the kitchen sink. But S.H.E.L.D.O.N suddenly glides up beside him, patiently waiting for Donnie to hand it to him.
Donnie fondly smiles and does so, mumbling a quiet 'thanks'. S.H.E.L.D.O.N's eyes dart between the turtle and the office door, "Extra work?"Donnie shrugs a shoulder as he fishes out the key, unlocking it. "Just going to go over the numbers for a while. To keep me busy.""Oh, okay," S.H.E.L.D.O.N nods. "I'll give Raph and April a heads-up."Donnie smiles again, stepping inside the small office. "Thanks, S.H.E.L.D.O.N."

The office was not cramped, far from it. But with the shelves and the large desk with barely any space left for a second person, Donnie would not call it 'cozy'. Comfortable, perhaps, but only for the 'overworked-cubicle-office worker' type of person. In short, it is right up on Donnie's ally. It's not his laboratory, after all. The space was just enough for the manager to work in.
Donnie sighs and plops himself onto the swivel chair, letting himself spin for a little bit. He stares at the grey ceiling for a moment, just sitting there and emptying his thoughts.
It soon dawns on Donnie that it was impossible, with how warm the room was. He spins to face his desk and pulls a drawer, rummaging into random supplies (who the fuck put a goddam whisk in here?) and fished out the remote for the A.C."Sweet, sweet relief," he says to himself, quickly turning the conditioner on.

A knock rapped on the door, calling Donnie's attention. "Staff only!" He calls out, already used to this kind of interaction. Sadly, this happened more than Donnie can count."Aw, not even a special guest?" a sweet voice called from the outside. Donnie quirked a brow, surprised. He rises from his chair, albeit a little too quickly, and opened the door.
He was greeted by a hug, pushing him backwards. "Whuhー, Leo?"Don hears Leo giggle childishly, snout digging deep into his neck and peppering him with soft kisses. Donnie lets out a soft laugh, hands circling around Leo's shell, pulling the slider closer into him. There was not any room for Donnie to twirl them in, so he settles with nuzzling his snout into Leo'e neck.Leo's foot kicked the door close before anyone could peek inside. Donnie thought of reaching to lock it, but the overwhelming need to hold the slider in his arms won over his brain and he squeezed into the hug even tighter. "Well, hello there."Leo laughs, placing one last kiss on Donnie's cheek before pulling back. Donnie kisses his forehead, one hand went to caress Leo's cheek. "Hey there, Obi-Wan. Missed me?"Donnie pretends to think, closing his eyes for dramatization. Leo swats him for it."Sorry, sorry." Don laughs, placing another kiss on Leo's temple. "'Course I did. I mean, it's not like we woke up together and had breakfast together or anything,"Leo snorts pushing himself off of the embrace with a grin, "Yeah, yeah, jackass. I missed you too, in case you were curious."Don lets him go and he watched the other take a step to sit on the desk. He notices a stack of papers beside Leo and goes to file it, "No, there is no need." He says, tapping the papers together before opening a drawer to place it into. "I already knew that."Leo rolls his eyes, "I already knew that," he mocked in a nasally voice. He giggles, "You're such an asshole."Donatello gawks at him, feigning being offended. "I do not sound like that!"Leo stares at him incredulously with a bewildered chuckle, "What? Yes, you do!"Donnie stalks closer, caging Leo with his arms between the table. "Outrageous! I'd have you hanged for that, blasphemous!"Leo snickers and leans back. Donnie follows."Are you serious? You got your head stuck deep in your ass that you went deaf?" Leo switches back to his nasally voice, "You talk like thiiiiis,"Donnie rolls his eyes and blows raspberries into Leo's neck instead. The slider squeaked, taken aback by it, and tried to push Donnie away. But the soft-shell persisted to stay where he was. He grabbed one of Leo's hands and trapped in on top of the table, blowing raspberries again on Leo's other side of his neck.
"Don!" Leo laughed out, one hand remaining trying to push the genius off. "Seriously, stoーNo!" Leo helplessly squirmed.
Donnie felt not much power from the pushes, but he was getting a little impatient with the constant trying. Donnie grins onto Leo's neck, a wicked idea forming in his head. He opens his mouth, grazing his teeth over the skin, and lightly bites down."Ah,"

The two of them pause.
Donnie slowly pulls back, feeling warmth spread all over his body. Leo clears his throat above him, and Donnie blatantly the erotic position the both of them were in. Leo was caged in between his arms, just as he's in between Leo's legs.
He catches the flushed face of the slider, a little giddy inside at how cute he looked. His eyes went down and sees the absence of their uniform's tie. Out of sheer awkwardness, his brain hooks onto that fact and decides to make a conversation with it."SO," he tries. Donnie clears his throat, "where's your tie?"Leo breathes out a laugh once, eyes casting downside. "C'mon, Don. When have I ever worn that thing."Right, Don thinks to himself. He squishes down the urge to kick himself.
He feels Leonardo peeking at him. And he wonders why they were so awkward, they've had experiences before. It isn't exactly the first time they've had this kind of mishap before."Can't you say something?" Leo asks, sounding a little desperate.
Donnie finally looks at him. Leo was red all over, almost as red as the marks over his eyes were. Donnie knows he isn't any different. Leo's eyes searched his, the desperation of ruining the silence heavy. Donnie's mind, as brilliant and bright as it is, could only think of one thing to cut the awkward silence."According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to flyー,"Leo's eyes widened and crumpled in annoyance. "What the fuck, Donnie?!"Donnie pulls back, taking a step behind him. "I'm sorry, I panicked.""And that's what you think of?!""I don't know!?"Another wave of embarrassment fills inside Donnie, and he fully takes another step back. Or at least he tried, before he feels Leo's feet wrap around his waist, pulling him closer.Stunned, he searches Leo's eyes. They were uncharacteristically shy, almost begging and teasing. Donnie's breath hitched.Ever so slowly, Leo's eyes slowly casts towards Donnie's. He feels Leo's left leg trail up from his calves towards his thighs. Donnie heaves out a shaky breath, not breaking contact with Leo. A feeling of, anticipation? Curiosity? Something, fills him.
It is a familiar sensation."Hey," Leo starts, a shy smile slowly graces his lips. "It's been a while, y'know,"Donnie waits, heart thumping in his chest.Leo slowly meets his eyes. "That we had this kind of privacy." Leo finishes.Donnie swallows, a slow smirk forms on his lips.
He goes to lock the door.

Donatello knew a lot of things. He knew the proper calculations that were necessary to build a nuke. He knew the perfect amount of each components necessary to create his own batteries. He knew what was needed to take down the government with just a few taps on his keyboard. He also knew he would never tire of this sight.Leo quivers and shakes with each heavy breath he takes, uniform pants long forgotten somewhere on the small office floor. His button shirt ripped open with raw need, plastron covered in sweat and trails of kisses. His neck, beautifully adorned with bite marks that Donnie placed methodically, a much more prettier sight than any gold or silver jewelry could ever provide. And by the way Leo whines and shivers with each mark, Donnie knew he would think the same.He thrusts in particularly rougher, unable to stop himself. Leo arches back, mouth open with a choked out moan, trying his best to keep it in. Donnie grins, teeth and fangs showing. He grips Leo's waist a little tighter, holding him down.
"You look so pretty like this, baby." He praises, tone sweet as honey. A complete opposite of his harsh treatment. Leo whines, eyes rolling back with the praise. Donnie lets out a low chuckle, ingesting the sexy image deep into his brain. "So pliant, so tight, like you were made just for this."He hoists a leg over his shoulder, and Leo opens his eyes in shock with the sudden move. Tears welled in the corner of his eyes, and a lowly growl escaped from Donnie, feeling warmth spread in his lower area. "My pretty little slut."Leo's breath hitched, a short moan escaping from his lips. Mortified, Leo tries to cover his mouth with his hands. He tugged on Donnie's tie wrapped around his hands, bringing it closer to his face."Ah-ah, sugar," Donnie growls. Leo jolts, loving the way Donnie thrusts inside his slit harshly. "Remember, no using of hands to cover your voice."
"A-ah, fuck," Leo grunts out, and opted instead to bite his arms to muffle out more of his noises.Donnie grins, letting out a chuckle. "What a good boy you are, slut."Leo preens at the degradation and praise. His back arches, and Donnie could tell his toes were curled from behind him. "Look at you, sweetheart. What a good little fuck toy, so perfect and so good to me. So tight here, too," he says as he mad his thrusts harder, one hand each on Leo's waist and thigh gripping hard. The thought of his hands leaving marks there stirred Donnie on, and he let out another growl. "God, you're beautiful, Leo.""Please," the slider begs. "M-more,"Donnie bites his thigh, loving the way how Leo's slit tightened at it. "More?" he asks in an incredulous tone. "You want more, baby? God, you must be such a whore to want more, huh, doll?"Leo preens at that, biting his bicep again. Donnie raises a brow. "You like that? Being called doll?"Leo nods, whines slowly becoming into loud moans. Donnie thinks for a moment, before he let his instincts guide his imagination.Purple specks disappear as quickly as it appeared, leaving behind a contraption in his hands. Leo eyes the thing curiously, lips bruised and plump from biting down on it. Donnie kisses the inside of his thigh, slowing down his thrusts. Leo whines like a brat, and Donnie chuckles fondly, endeared by his lover."I know, baby doll." Leo shivers at the name. "I know you want more, so I'll give you more."Leo tries to pull himself up to see, but found it hard. Out of compassion, Donnie pulls his hips more, almost dangling it from the table. He pulled Leo's hips up, almost folding the other in half so Leo could see."This here, is something I just came up with." Donnie bends down and kisses Leo, who instantly welcomes him. He traced Leo's teeth with his tongue before leaving another hickey right beneath the slider's jawline, loving the way he sounded in Donnie's ear, before pulling back abruptly with a cocky grin. "Be good for me, yeah?""I-," Leo stutters, mind fucked out already, "I'm good."Donnie drops his demeanor, leaving one last loving kiss on Leo's temple with a soft smile. "I know you are," he says softly, before he plunges his vibrating fleshlight on Leo's cock.Leo bolts with the sudden sensation, barely keeping in his moans at the warmth surrounding him.Donnie continues his rough treatment from before, his eyes never leaving Leo. "Is that what you wanted, doll? You wanted more, yeah?" He switched on the vibration mode with his mystic power, eyes raking over Leo's trembling body. He placed his hand back on Leo's waist, pinning him down on the table to cease the movement. Donnie wasn't finished yet."And it has a surprise," he says with his dominating tone back. "It moves on it own, too."And sure enough, the fleshlight starts to move up and down on its own, pumping Leo's leaking cock. He screams, unable to keep it in, and Donnie sucks a hickey on Leo's thigh."....but it's really fine tho, right?" A voice came from the outside.
Panicked, Donnie stops his thrusting while he was deep inside Leo, eyes wide-blown darted to the door. Leo whines at the sudden pause, and afraid of getting caught, Donnie moved the hand from Leo's waist to cover Leo's mouth."...I mean sure, it's a little weird, but it's kinda normal," the voice, who turned out to be Mikey, continues. The sound gradually grows louder, as he walk closer to the office door."Still, he needs to rest. Numbers can wait, they're always gonna be there." Raph answered, and Donnie feels a little dread of the thought of the two of them getting caught by the snapping turtle.
Leo whines against his head and rocked his hips, seeking for friction with Donnie's cock still inside his slit. Donnie feels his eyes roll to the back of his head with each squeeze of Leo's slit on his dick. He spares a look at Leo and was taken aback at the sight.Leo look debauched, tears rolling down his eyes and his face reddened with lust. His eyes were hazy and clouded, but they still remained trained on Donnie. Donnie unintentionally squeezes his hand around Leo's snout tighter, and Leo rolled his eyes back.
He couldn't stop himself from giving a harsh thrust.
Leo moans."What was that?" Raph asked from the outside.Tentatively, Donnie rolls his hips against Leo, enjoying the way Leo clenches around him. The fleshlight continues to pump on itself, occasionally brushing against the Donnie and hits him with the vibrations. Donnie growls and resumes his thrusting, not caring anymore.
A knock came on the door and Leo splutters, finally understanding the situation."Leave him be, Raph. He could be sleeping." Mikey begs from the outside. Donnie feels Leo's breathing getting shorter under his hand."Yeah, could be. You right, boss man. Let's leave 'em alone." Raph agrees.
Donnie hears them walk away and listens for a bit more, before letting go of Leo's mouth. "Leo, we-,""Donnie, Donnie, babyー papi," Leo begs, voice hoarse. "Please, let me cum. Please, please, papi, I'll do anything, I was such a good doll, a good slut, please let me cum."Donnie feels exhilerated, "Together, yeah? Can you do that, darling?"
Leo nods, tongue lolling out.
Fuck, Donnie thinks, as he feels himself gaining a new obsession.

"I'm sorry, did I go overboard?" Donnie apologizes, trailing gentle kisses from Leo's neck to his plastron.Leo giggles, "I'm fine, Dee. Kinda loved it, TBH."Donnie pauses his attack of kisses to pout childishly at Leo, "Kinda?" he parrots.Leo snickers, "Okay! Okay, I really loved it. And who said you could stop kissing?"Donnie smiled and kisses his cheek, then his jawline, going to his other cheek, and finally his forehead. "Can I kiss you?"Leo raises a brow, "Aren't you doing it already?"Donnie rolls his eyes good heartedly, tracing a thumb on Leo's bottom lip. "I meant here, doofus.""Oh," Leo laughs, then surges upwards to kiss Donnie's lips instead. "Sure."And Donnie does, with fervor. He was careful not to jostle Leo's body too harshly, mindful with his weight distribution around Leo's. "I'm so glad you're mine."Leo boops Donnie's snout. "Sap," he calls to him.Donnie retaliates by pulling the ends of his mask, exposing Leo's neck for more raspberries."ACK! Heel, boy!" Leo almost screams with a laugh. He looks down to kiss Donnie's temple this time, catching the soft shell in surprise.
Donatello gazes up to the slider, eyes filled with so much warmth that Leo had to nuzzle his snout with Donnie's. "I'm glad you're mine, too."Donnie smiles, a little shyly, and Leo feels his heart combust in his chest.
Why is he so fucking adorable? The duality of this man?!Donnie slowly stands, "We should probably sneak out, you can't work in your, uh, predicament right now.""And whose fault is that?" Leo sing songs, letting a foot gently push Donnie's chest. The soft-shell merely catches it and places a kiss on the inside of his ankle, making Leo blush bashfully.
"Don't tease me," Donnie says, not unkindly. "I'm gonna go and get your katana, where did you put them?"Leo pales, breaking out in cold sweat. "Uh, under the table?" He responds, but it sounded like a question.Donnie squares him with a look, slowly sinking down to look under said office desk. And he slowly comes back up with Leo's katanas, eyes wide with bewilderment.
Leo only smiles sheepishly at him.Donnie glanced at his weapons, then back at him. "Did you plan this?"Leo did not, in fact, plan it. But Donnie need not to know that. "Maybe."
