At the Magnolia Hospital, Layla was giving birth to her daughter, Lucy. Staring the beautiful baby in her arms, she was looked up at her husband, Ivan. Laxus had just six when his mother gave birth to his new sister. He was bit happy to know that he had a sibling to take care of when his parents needed his help. Of course, he couldn't wait to tell all his friends about his new sister and there was nothing else that would make him more happier to know that he would be the that was going to be protecting her. He would fight all the guys would date her when he got older - that was his promise to himself.
"What's her name?" Laxus asked looking at the sleeping baby.
"Her name is Lucy." Layla smiled at her son.
"I like it!" Laxus said.
Just then the door opened to reveal, Makarov Dreyar. The humble old man walked over and smiled at the new addition of the family. Lucy Ashely Dreyar. He was happy to see that she was going to be as beautiful has her mother. Ivan was at work in the office, and he was pissed that he had a meeting that he had to attend instead of seeing his daughter be born. Laxus was there - Makarov told Ivan he would go in his stead to see how Layal was doing.
"How are you doing, dear?" Makarov asked as he smiled at his Daughter-in-law.
"I'm good, a bit upset that Ivan's secretary had to set up meetings during this time. He wanted a clear schedule incase I gave birth early." Layla sighed.
Karen Lilica was Ivan's secretary, and she was the one who usually does nothing at all but try and get into Ivan's damn pants. It bothered Layla that Ivan just wouldn't fire her and find another person to take the job. Even Ivan was getting tired of her bullshit at the office. The only one who seemed to have any control over what Karen could do at the office was Makarov. There were time there would be complaining to him - Makarov - about Karen's behavior at the office. It was unprofessional and Ivan tried to correct it - but once it was said, the next three weeks she would "listen" and "behave" but when those three weeks were done, she would slowly turn her behavior back to the way it was.
"I'm dealing with the Lilica situation. She won't be working at Dreyar Corp anymore. I have been having Ivan cut her hours and days so that the new girl, Irene can work full time. She's a mother and recently brought her two-year old daughter, Erza the other day. My do they look alike." Makarov smiled at the memory.
Laxus was just staring at Lucy. Silently begging her to do something. It was pretty boring to have a baby sister that doesn't do much.
"Babies are boring!" Laxus thought.
Soon the day came when Lucy could go home from the Hospital. Today, Ivan had the first half of the day off. He wanted to bring his new daughter home. It was something that him and Irene discussed. She was to hold off on all meetings until the next morning or later in the afternoon when he would come in. Ever since Karen was fired, the office went back to normal. Everyone threw a party to celebrate, Irene joining Dreyar Corp as the full time secretary for Ivan. Makarov was the one who was celebrating with everyone.
Once Layla and Lucy were brought home, Ivan was just more relaxed. It bothered him that he couldn't really spend as much time with Layla as she recovered, but he knew that she was just grateful to be home with her daughter. He was more than happy to have Layla and Irene meet when the time came. It was more as if Irene already knew everything about Lucy and Layla from the way that Ivan would talk about her.
Laxus would express to all his friends about his new baby sister. Though he knew that he was going to be very overprotective of her when she got older.
A few years have passed and Lucy was now five, while Laxus was eleven. She became quick friends with his friends - Evergreen, Freed, and Bickslow. Though Lucy thought they were all strange people. She couldn't wait to meet her own friends. Today was a special day, Bring your child to work day. Laxus vowed that he didn't want to go this time since Lucy was old enough. She should see how everything at the office was, and since there would be more people her own age at the job. He wanted to spend the day with his own friends.
"Are you sure Lax?" Lucy asked as she looked at her older brother.
"Yeah, you go to work with dad, I made plans with my friends." He nodded as he gave her some strawberries.
"She really likes strawberries, but she prefers vanilla shakes." Laxus smiled as he watched her eat the strawberries. He had to cut them a little bit because he knew that Virgo wouldn't like the fact if Lucy got a drop of strawberry juice on her outfit. "Lucy, I'll promise to always protect you no matter what."
"Lucy! Are you ready?" Ivan came into the kitchen to see his two children.
"Yes!" Lucy smiled as she got down from her chair and walked over to her father grabbing his hand. "Bye Laxus!"
"Bye Lu." Laxus nodded.
Ivan arrived at the office with Lucy. She was so excited to be going into work with her father. Ivan spotted Irene and her daughter Erza. Lucy spotted the red-head and walked over.
"Hi! I'm Lucy!" She smiles brightly.
"Erza." The red-head said.
"I hope we can become friends."
"I would like that."
"Lucy there you are." Ivan smiled as he looked at his daughter. "Good morning, Irene."
"Good morning, Ivan." Irene smiled.
"Hello there Erza. Good to see you again." Ivan smiled down at Erza.
Erza has been to the office plenty of times when the babysitter would flake out on Irene. It's been a struggle for Irene to find a new babysitter when needed - but thankfully Erza is enrolled into Fairy Academy, the headmaster is none other than Makarov Dreyar. Today - even though it's summer time, it's hard to find a good babysitter - though Ivan doesn't care as long as the child is well behaved.
"It's nice to see you again Mr. Ivan." Erza nodded.
Ivan preferred not to be called Mr. Dreyar by the children, it was just really - stupid in his mind to be called 'Mr. Dreyar' by children! Ivan looked at Lucy and then at Erza.
"Erza, would you like to keep Lucy company today?" Ivan knew that today was going to be a busy day - and he didn't know if he would have time to give Lucy a tour of the building, but he knew that Erza would keep her company.
"Sure, it wouldn't be a problem." Erza nodded.
Even with Erza being six, she was very well trained in being polite to people. Lucy frowned at her father as she wondered why she wasn't going to be with her father today. Wasn't that the whole point of 'Bring your child to work day'? Lucy turned to look at Erza and smiled.
"Will you show me around now?" Lucy asked looking at Erza.
"Sure." Erza smiled back.
Lucy walked into her dad's office, "Erza said she's going to show me around now."
"Be safe Lucy, and I'll treat you to Lunch." Ivan looked at his daughter - oh how she looks just Layla.
Erza and Lucy walked around the floor they were on. Lucy looked at Erza.
"She's really pretty! I love her red hair!" Lucy thought. "I wonder if she has any friends she could introduce me too...I only know Laxus friends."
"So Erza, are there are other kids around our age here too?" Lucy asked.
"Yes, but they on the lower floors. We can go there now." Erza smiles at Lucy.
As the two girls reached floor eight. There were more kids, Lucy was shocked to see so many of them.
"ERZA!" Two of the kids shouted.
One had black hair and the other had pink hair. Lucy hid behind Erza as she was in shock from their yelling.
"Knock it off you two!" Erza said.
Lucy looked at the two boys. "H-Hello." Lucy said.
"Oh wow. A new friend!" The pink hair said.
"Natsu..." Erza stated. "This is Lucy, Lucy these are Natsu and Gray."
"N-Nice to meet you." Lucy smiles.
"Hey." Gray said.
"Hi." Natsu said.
"I'm showing her around the building, while her dad works." Erza said.
"Cool! Can we come?" Natsu asked.
"Sure!" Lucy smiles.
It was from that day - that Lucy met her new group of friends, of course it was only Erza, Natsu and Gray. She knew that Gray and Natsu were two of the weirdest people she met. Of course, when Ivan and Layal found out how musically talent Lucy is - with the violin, piano and her singing voice, they deiced that she should go to a school for the talented. Lucy felt a bit sad that she would be leaving- she thought that she would end up going to Fairy Academy. This was something that she thought that would never happen -leaving Erza like this.
Of course, she met with Erza one last time before she went off to school, telling her what was happening.
"Hey Erza." Lucy smiled as she saw the Red-Head at the office.
"Lucy, hello." Erza smiled.
"I - I have something to tell you, I won't be going to Fairy Academy this year." Lucy frowns.
Erza saw how hurt she was and just smiled, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, it's okay, the school isn't going anywhere. It'll always be there - waiting for you." Erza smiles.

Fifteen years of age and here was missing everything good in her life. Her brother had a girlfriend. She was shocked over that - how the hell did he manage to get a girl like that? He was pretty much scary looking. Lucy looked at the message from Natsu and Gray - their names sounded familiar. Erza said to add them since they would be great - and that she met them when they were younger at her dad's work. She tired to remember that day - but nothing and she apologized to Erza about that but nothing seemed to ring a bell.

Lucy: Nope, Erza told me to go ahead and add you - just to have new friends

Lucy: I know Erza because she and I would hang out at my dad's office. Her mom works there. So I would ask my dad to take me to work whenever Erza would be there. We talked a lot and hung out ever since then.
Lucy sighed as she didn't know what else could happen today- she of course, ignored Ren's message - there was no way in hell that she would date Ren. He had a new girlfriend every other week. No thanks. Of course, Hibiki would want her to give him the answers to the homework - so she was going to ignore his message as well.

Lucy: Thanks Eve! That means so much to me. Though you are also amazing at the cello! I heard you play in the room earlier, and I thought the piece you were working on was amazing.
As Lucy was about log out - there was new message. It was from Natsu.
Natsu: Oh! Cool. Natsu Dragneel. Do you go to Fairy Academy too?
Lucy: No. I go to Pegasus Academy for Music.
Natsu: Bummer. Thought you would go to our school - was about to ask if you wanted to hang this weekend and meet everyone. Are you from Magnolia?
Lucy: I grew up there. I visit home this summer.
Natsu: BOO-YEAH! We should meet up over the summer!

Facebook. That's how she found out about Laxus being in a relationship with someone. She frowned at the thought that she would never find someone. She looked out the window. Lucy Ashley Dreyar - being trapped in another town away from family because she had to be talent at something. Music. This was something that she had to talk to her parents about. She didn't want to find out big events on Facebook. Lucy didn't post much on Facebook - only an old photo of her with short hair. Her hair did get longer and she was pretty proud of her long hair.
Facebook Notification: 1 new friend request: Lisanna Strauss
"Great his girlfriend sent me a request - what should I do?" Lucy thought as she looked at the request.
Lucy sighed as she accepted the request, and automatically got a message from the girl

Lisanna: Hey! Thanks for accepting! I saw you under - 'as people you may know' and I was like - 'why not'
Lucy: Hey to you too. Thanks for the request. I hope we can become friends
Lisanna: Sure! I would like that so much! So do you go to our school?
Lucy: I don't. Though I'm from Magnolia. I'm usually there during the summer visiting my parents.
Lisanna: Where do you go to school?
Lucy: Pegasus Academy.
Lisanna: OMG REALLY? THAT'S SO COOL! SO YOU KNOW REN AND HIBIKI AND EVE?!
Lucy: Guilty. They are my classmates. lol.
Lisanna: We met them once, and they were so great!
Lucy: Yeah, well they are a pain in the ass.
Lisanna: Really? I wouldn't have thought about it that much. Oh shoot! I have to go now! TTYL

Erza: Hey! Lisanna told us that she added you.
Lucy: Yeah she did. It was a bit weird, but I don't mind it at all. I'm about to ask my parents to let me transfer to Fairy Academy to meet all of these new friends - I mean I don't know what I would do. Laxus is dating, and I'm surrounded by a bunch of annoying people. I mean Jenny is great - but she's no you when it compares to friendship.
Erza: That would be amazing if you were to come here! I could take you to my fave cake shop!
Lucy: You never seem to amaze me. I'll see you in a week! Spring break is my fave holiday and I'll see you then. XOXO.
Erza: See ya!
Lucy closed her laptop lid and pulled out her music sheets. She wondered what the break was going to be like. She looked at the song that she was supposed to perform for when they got back from Spring Break for the Spring Music Festival. She titled, This is Me she's been working hard on the piano music sheet for this. She didn't have lyrics for it yet, but she knew that maybe during the break she would get the lyrics. She knew that she would be practicing when she was home, maybe she could have her mother help her with lyrics.
This would be the first time that she would be singing and playing the piano. She hummed the slow melody of the song. She wondered what was going to be happening today - she knew that this was going to be something amazing. She wanted to go meet up with Erza and she prayed that her mother would allow her to go ahead and let her go. She started to pack up some of her stuff that she wanted to bring home. It was only Thursday and they were leaving Friday morning. She was happy to be going back home. Laxus said he would meet her at the train station.
She was nervous about going back - she didn't know what else was going to happen, but she hopped that her parents allowed her to come home and stay in Magnolia her last two years. She had to be home. She just had to know - She wanted to be near these new friends - and mostly be with Erza. Though she has a feeling she would be great friends with Lisanna.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
It was finally time for Lucy to head back to Magnolia as this was it. She was finally going to see Erza again. Things between her and Erza have always been strong. Though, meeting all her new friends - well that was going to be tricky as she was going to be terrible with names. She knew that one day she would remember their names. Right now as she was the train heading back to Magnolia, she was looking at the Facebook accounts of all her new friends and trying to remember their names. Mirajane, Lisanna and Elfman are siblings, they all look alike. Mira was the oldest, then Elfman and lastly Lisanna. Mirajane is dating Laxus -
"Still a jerk for not telling me he was dating someone." Lucy muttered under her breath.
Lisanna was dating Natsu - the only pink/salmon haired guy from the group.
Summer Vacation. It was going to be a very busy summer. She was going to be attending Fairy Tail Academy that was owned by her Grandfather - Makarov. Part of her was going to miss Blue Pegasus Academy, but she was going to actually meet new people. Hopefully people who won't use her brain for her to get answers to test. A lot of the boys tended to be drawn to her for being smart. Lucy looked out the window as the train made into Magnolia Station. The thing was that, she didn't know who was going to be picking her up from the train station. She knew that her father would've sent the car to pick her up, but she chose just to take the train in because she enjoyed being around people, and she knew that Laxus would've been in the cat and at that moment, she didn't want to see him.
"This is Magnolia Station, this is the last stop for this train. For trains heading outwards, head to Track V and Track X. Make sure you are getting on the correct train to your destination. Again, this is Magnolia Station. This is the last stop for this Train." The Conductor said.
Lucy grabbed her bag and she looked around her seat to make sure she had everything.
"I have to go Mira...I promise you'll meet her soon...I told you I wanted to be the one to pick her up." Laxus muttered into his phone as he watching for Lucy outside the station. He knew that she would be getting into the station soon. His mom told her what time train Lucy was taking. "Look, Mira, We'll see you at the Bar, okay? I'll bring her tonight to meet everyone." He hung up the phone once he said his goodbye as he spotted the blonde.
Lucy looked over and rolled her eyes as it had to be Laxus that was picking her up. "Let's go. I want to get home as fast as possible."
"Why the rush?"
"I want to take shower before I meet Erza later."
"I didn't even know that you two were still talking since you were so busy with your school work, you damn music prodigy"
"Just because I have the talent you don't, doesn't mean I don't keep in touch with my best friend!"
At the mention of 'best friend' Lucy gets a text message.

Erza: Hey! When you get in, let me know, I'll come over and we can hang out before meeting everyone!
Lucy smiled at the message from Erza. "Can Erza come over?"
"I guess."
Laxus picked up Lucy's luggage and walked to the car as he wondered why she wanted to go to school here. She was doing so well at Blue Pegasus. There was the End of the Term Talent Show. Of course Laxus was there and he remember how she hit those notes to her song.
The End of the Term Talent Show was done every year to represent what the students have learned that year. The Dreyars went every year since Lucy started the school. Her talent was the best in the music department. This year was different, instead of individuals this year, they were able to do bands. So, Lucy teamed up with Hibiki, Ren, Evie and Jenny.
"Welcome one and all to this years, End of the Term Talent Show!" Bob smiled. "This year we had the students in the music department, join together to form bands! So enjoy the hard work! First up we have..." Bob looked at the piece of paper. "Kitty Claws!"
The groups went on and on. Then it came to Lucy's group and she was a bit nervous since they were doing one of her songs and she wasn't sure how well it would really work on the crowd. She knew that her family was out there and they would be hearing something completely new. Something that she has never showed anyone before. This song was meant for this Talent Show. She would never perform it again, if possible.
"Our last group, doesn't have a fancy name like the rest of them, but it's Hibiki, Ren, Evie, Jenny and Lucy!"
Ren was the drums.
Hibiki was the guitar.
Evie was the Bass.
Jenny was the second guitar and back up vocals.
Lucy was the main vocals.

At the end everyone cheered and clapped. The winners for that Talent show was Lucy's group.
"You know, at that talent show of yours, I never heard of that song before." He had to bring it up.
"Because it was new."
"Why did you chose to do something new and not a song you already know?"
"Because of the instruments that they knew how to play. Most songs I write tend to be for the piano."
"Why? You know how to play a lot of instruments.."
Lucy didn't like talking about it. She just felt more drawn to playing the piano ever since two years ago. When Hibiki used her. He broke her. It was the end of the Lucy that everyone knew, and she changed to do more piano pieces because she never got over it. She was still pissed at that fact that he did that to her and she had to play it off like she didn't care. When in reality it really bothered her. Still. She never showed it to anyone when they were together. She didn't want him to know how much he really hurt that time.
Two Years Ago:
When she was working in the music room when Hibiki came to her. At that time she didn't know that he came over to her because of two reasons. Reason one, a dare. Reason two, a good grade. Those two things were the biggest reasons why he wanted her.
"Hey Lucy~" Hibiki flashed her, his

smirk.
"Hi." She didn't look, up from her notebook.
"You know, you are one of the best singers and song writers here. I was thinking that we could team up for the music showdown"
"I don't team up."
"Why is that?"
"Because I don't have to team up with anyone.."
Hibiki grabbed her chin and looked at her, "Come on, Lucy how about I show you how much fun it could be."
Time flew by and he did show her how much fun it could be with bouncing off ideas and beats with someone. Then as part of the dare he had to date her until he won his first place reward because he didn't want to lose to someone like Lucy. This was something that she didn't know was coming. Then when it came to the end and the two of them won.
When he walked her, back to her room, he looked at her.
"It was fun, but we're over." He laughed.
"What?" She was confused.
"I only dated you and worked with you to win first place because I couldn't come in second to someone like you."
"..." She had no words, she took a deep breath. "Okay. Good bye." She opened her door to her dorm and then shut it behind her.
Around her room and picked up any pieces that she had and hid them away. Out of sight, out of mind. That was the day she stopped with everything. She turned to the piano because it was the one
instrument
where she could be able perform her inner feelings
"Lucy!" Laxus shouted.
"What!"
"You were just standing there, are you okay?"
"I'm fine."
He shook his head and started to walk to the car that he drove. This was something new. She felt bad for not being around. She wondered if she would've had her heart broken as well if she went to school here. Lucy got into the passenger seat as Laxus loaded the luggage in the trunk and then he made his way to the drivers side. The drive from the Train Station to the Dreyar Household was about a 40 minute drive and Lucy wanted to take a shower before she went to go meet anyone. Lucy plugged in the aux cord into her phone, so she could play her music. Some of the music she recorded was there, and they were just instrumental pieces and some with her voice singing. The song that she deiced to play was just an instrumental piece that she didn't have lyrics to, but as she heard it today, she started to sing some lyrics that came to her as the song played.
Laxus looked over at her for a split second as she started to sing a song.

"Wow, I could never get how you could do that so well. What are you going to call that piece?"
"Playground. It was something that just came to me. I didn't have any lyrics for it originally, but I guess that today my heart had some lyrics."
"I wonder if there are any other pieces you have that don't have lyrics..."
"Most do. I just record a lot of the instrumental pieces until I can think something to sing."
They were sitting in traffic. It was something that Lucy hated, she just wanted to get home before she was to go out and meet up with Erza. That was the one person Lucy missed whenever she was at school. Erza. Sure they texted and called but it wasn't the same as actually seeing the person face to face. Now that the end of summer, she would be attending Fairy Tail Academy. Lucy wondered if she would be able actually meet everyone that has friended her on Facebook, or would they just not care? This was something that seemed to always bug her as she didn't know how to really be friends with people - besides Erza.
Soon enough Laxus pulled into the driveway and Lucy unplugged her phone and ran into the house as she just couldn't wait to unpack and head to her music studio as another song came to her from her instrumental pieces.
"Hey Luc-Why is she such in a rush?" Layla looked at Laxus who came in carrying her luggage.
"She said something about taking a shower when she got in, but I think she's heading to the music studio to sing." Laxus set the luggage down. "She recorded a lot of instrumental pieces when at school. So maybe she got lyrics to another song?"
"She was always humming. Leave her be for the moment."
With Lucy, she opened the door to her music studio and plugged in her phone as she needed to sing the song before the lyrics disappeared from her mind. And yes. It was possible for Lucy to not remember anything if she didn't record lyrics or a tune to a new song.

Lucy soon left the music studio, heading to her room to take a shower and change into something different. Today was probably the day that she was going to be meeting everyone - it was feeling she had since Erza mentioned meeting everyone.

As Lucy got ready as Erza was going to be heading over, she was sure that she was going to hear all the new gossip - but there was something that she had to let her know. Something that Lucy needed her to know - but at the same time, there was also the fact that it shouldn't be said because well, she didn't want Erza to go ahead and fight someone. Especially since it was someone she knew - Hibiki. She knew that Erza and her friends really liked meeting the trio - but they don't know them like she does. She was sure that if Erza found out that someone did something like that to her - then it would be the end. Erza was the big sister to Lucy and right now - she didn't need the sister protecting her, she wanted her best friend to talk to.Lucy was happy that she was going to be leaving that school for good and transfer to the same school as Erza - where she knows people and where only a few people know her. This was the start that Lucy needed. Something to keep her mind in one place. Just then Lucy spotted the Red Head Erza - outside the house."ERZA!" Lucy shouted as she ran closer over to the girl.Erza turned around and looked at Lucy - a smile was plastered across her face. "Lucy!" She ran over and hugged the blonde."Ah! Too tight!" Lucy whined as she did enjoy Erza's hugs, but sometimes they were just a bit too tight. Once Erza released Lucy from the hug - "Come on in!"The two girls made their way inside and sat down in the kitchen, where there was some light snacks to eat and some soda to drink. The two girls talked about the school year was. Lucy couldn't wait to finally be in all of the action that happened. Learning about how Natsu and Gray fight - at every second that they weren't in class - or even at school, seemed a bit weird. There had to be a bit more to why those two fight so often. One would think that they were Fire and Ice with the way that they were fighting."So, what happened with you at your school? You never told me the real reason why you transferred over to the piano..." Erza frowned after she took a bit from a cupcake."Oh that - there's no real reason. Lucy asked."We don't have one yet." Bickslow sighed as they needed a name if they were going to enter the Battle Comp."How are you in a band - but you don't have a band name, that is kind of weird." "Maybe you could enter, it would be a good idea to see what our competition would be."When Freed said that she could enter - Lucy was happy to, but something was holding her back as she didn't know if she wanted to enter really. There was something that she wasn't telling him as she happy when competing - before turned over to the piano. She was just always so happy to sing her pop-type songs. Though he was sure that maybe now going to the same school as Erza, that she would get out of the shell of hers and go back to the sister he knew."Alright, with your help, I'm sure we would do great." She pointed out as she took a look at the building."You'll be okay, that's why we're doing this. So that you have more people to hang out at school."As the two of them entered the building - there was chair that flew towards their direction and Lucy pushed Erza out of the way as she got hit with the chair - it was more folding chair that got thrown towards their direction - so it only knocked the wind out of Lucy as she fell to the ground."Ow.." She hissed as she got up."WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!" Erza's voice boomed over the noise.Everyone froze in their spot as they looked over and saw Erza and some blonde chick on the ground as she got up. Gray was the one who spoke up as everyone couldn't believe that Erza caught them fighting."It was Flame-brains fault!" Gray said - throwing his friend under the bus."WHY THE HELL YOU THROWING ME UNDER THE BUS ICE PRINCESS!" Natus - his loud ass voice was heard from the second floor."YOU STARTED IT!""HOW DID I START IT WHEN I'M UP HERE!""KNOCK IT OFF!" Erza cut them off. "Now tell me who actually started it.."Lucy looked around and sighed. "Erza, boys will be boys." She walked her way over to the bar - to get herself a strawberry smoothie."Hello! You must be new here." The angelica voice said. Of course the voice belonged to Mirajane. "I'm Mirajane.""I'm Lucy." Lucy smiled as she looked at the girl."So this is the girl that Laxus is dating. She's really pretty. I wonder if that's why he's dating her, but then again I don't see Laxus dating someone because of their looks." Lucy thought."Lucy? As in Laxus's younger sister?" Mirajane questioned."The same one." Lucy nodded in agreement."Did you guys here that? Who ever threw that chair, hit Laxus's sister~" Mirajane in a sweet - but there seemed to be some venom behind it. "You better confess now, before I tell Makarov."Just then - there someone standing in the door frame. Apparently the person heard what Mirajane said cause he spoke with more venom in his voice. Laxus just stood at the doorway, he heard what Mira said and he was pissed. Who ever threw that Chair at Lucy was going to get it. He didn't really like to be big bully, but this was something that pissed him off. "Tell me now, who threw the chair before your punishment gets worse than it already is..." He said."It was Beaver, he did it!" Natsu yelled."How dare you throw me under the bus!" The guy - Beaver (must've been a nickname) said."Laxus, really it was him!" Gray added."GRAY WHAT THE FUCK!" Beaver shouted."Beaver...Who else saw it was Beaver?" Laxus asked the rest of the group and hands went up. "Alright Beaver! We are going to Makarov's office, now." Laxus pulled Beaver up by the arm.Lucy watched at Laxus and that guy Beaver go upstairs towards Makarov's office. Just then there were footsteps coming down the stairs. It was a girl - who had the same hair color as Mira, but it was shorter and she looked more of a tomboy than a girly girl like Mira. This is when Lucy remembered seeing a photo of Lisanna and this must be the girl."Lisanna, what did I say about running down the stairs..." Mira sighed."I'm sorry big sis! But I had to make sure that whoever got hit by the chair was okay!" Lisanna answered. Then she turned her attention to Lucy. "Are you okay?""I'm fine, thanks for being worried about me." Lucy responded as she sipped on drink.Erza came over and put a hand on Lucy's shoulder. "Lucy are you sure you are okay?""Oh! So it is you! I remembered seeing a photo of you on facebook, I just didn't think you would be here right now! It's so good to meet you in person! I'm Lisanna!" "Hey Lucy, you remember Gray Fullbuster right?"Lucy turned around and saw him - of course she didn't full remember him, but she did remember a little bit. Lucy smiled."You too, Lucy." Gray smiled back at her."So you two know each other?" Lisanna asked as she butted into the conversation."Lucy's father brought her to Bring your Child to Work day." Gray looked at Lisanna - there seemed to be some irritation in his one eye as he spoke to her."Oh that sounds cool." Lisanna soon got bored of the conversation that was going on."Uh.." Lucy shook her head and then looked at Erza and smiled. "So, I'll be starting Fairy Academy and I can't wait!""Are you going to tell me what happened at Blue Pegasus to make you change schools so late?" Erza asked.Lucy fidgeted in her seat. She knew that it was in the past but it was something that still haunted her - especially the...other things that he did. Lucy took a deep breath and looked at Erza, she wanted Erza to know but at the same time she didn't want anyone to know. These were demons that she had to fight."I might...One day. Just not right now." Lucy said as she looked around and noticed a Pink Hair guy - the one from the Facebook photos. Natsu? Was that his name? She remembered the hair color from when they were younger but she was pretty bad with remembering faces."Alright, as long as you tell me one day and not hold it in forever." Erza nodded her head.Just then the lights started to dim down. Next thing she knows, Mirajane was on the stage with Lisanna. "Alrght Fairy Tail! You know what time it is!" She smiled brightly."SING OFF! SING OFF!" The Crowd cheered."what's a Sing off?" Lucy asked."Two people or two groups compete and the winner gets to perform that the school's half-time show this year at homecoming." Gray answered as he knew that Lisanna was going to be the winner - again. "Lisanna has won every time.""I feel like she's hiding something though.." Erza squinted her eyes."Alright! First one up is Lisanna!" Mirajane smiled."WOO! GO LIS! THAT'S MY GIRL!" Natsu shouted.Just then there was a blush across Lisanna's cheeks. "Natsu!" She whined as there was something that she was hidding from everyone - but Lucy spotted it."Who will go against Lisanna for round one!" Mirajane asked."Lucy, you should do it." Erza nudged the girl."What? Me? No-no way." Lucy shook her head."I nominate Lucy!" Laxus' voice boomed through the bar."What!?" Lucy shouted."Alright!" Mirajane smiled. "Come on Lucy!""Sleep with one eye open Laxus." Lucy said as she walked towards the stage. "I don't think I should be up here..." Lucy said to Mirajane."That's true! She went to Blue Pegasus, the school for the Musically talented." Lisanna looked at her sister. "Come on Sis, it shouldn't be right.""Well, she is no longer enrolled at the school, so it should be fine. Get the show going Mira." Laxus said."Right. Lisanna you shall go first." Mira said as she handed her sister the microphone. Mira moved Lucy over to the side as the music came on for Lisanna to sing.

The bar cheered for Lisanna at the end of her song. Lucy was worried that she was not going to be good enough. She looked out at the crowd and she put a hand on her heart. She couldn't possibly do it. She didn't have the strength to do it. She could do piano pieces - and this is not what the crowd wanted. She looked at Lisanna as Natsu came onto the stage and picked her up - he was congratulating her on well done."Lucy, you should pick out a song to sing." It was a close - but Lucy knew that she had more cheers than Lisanna. She was surprised that she had so many people cheering for her.
"Alright Fairy Tail. You know how the voting works!" Mira smiled.
Lucy - who was clueless didn't know it works but she wasn't sure she wanted to find out as she didn't think people would vote for her. She didn't do as well as Lisanna - but she was still not apart of the team. She was just an outsider who was going to be going to the same school. Lisanna was confident that she was going to win - like she did every time because she was the best singer ever. Mirajane went around and collected pieces of paper that would be revealed with writing once they were pulled out the basket. It was so that no one knew who they were voting for.
"Alright everyone, I'm going to go count up these votes! And I'll be right back!" Mira walked away with the basket as she wondered who won. She always played fair. Though it was not her who was going to be counting the votes - it was never Mira who did it.
Mirajane walked up to the Makarov's office as she knocked on the door. "Master I've brought the votes for you to count them." She said as she handed him the basket.
"Thank you Mirajane." He smiled.
Makarov played fair as well, but he couldn't tell who was singing when his office was sound proof. He looked at the votes and counted each one. He noticed that Lucy sang and he smiled slightly at the fact that his Granddaughter was on that stage singing. Right now, Makarov had a rough choice. Lisanna - who was good - decent and tend to always get the most votes or Lucy - a better singer. He didn't want to play favorites - he was by the book. Also he had Mavis looking over his shoulder.
"Wow, your granddaughter Lucy seems to have won the crowd over." Mavis remarked.
"She did, She is the clear winner, but would that be favoritism?" Makarov asked.
"It will not be if I announce the winner." Mavis smiles. "I think we need a new voice anyways."
"Thank you Mavis..." He smiles.
Mavis left the office and went downstairs. Everyone stopped talking at it seemed weird that Mavis was on the stage. She was their first master but why wasn't Makarov downstairs and why wasn't he the one who was going to present the winner - like he did each time.
"First Master, why isn't Makarov down here?" Lisanna asked as she wondered what was going to be happening.
"I have come to tell you the winner, Makarov...is a bit busy with all the paperwork - so I told him I would go ahead and do the announcement instead of him stopping the paperwork, he said that I could do it." She smiled. "Ah I remember the days when I had to do Paperwork...thank god I don't have to do that anymore!" She laughed.
"What are the results!" Someone in the crowd shouted.
"The winner is..." She started to say, "Lucy!"
"What?!" Lisanna shouted.
"Congratulations Lucy! I'm sure you will be wonderful!" Mavis smiled as she went back upstairs.
Lisanna was seething. She never lost! She was always a clear winner! Erza walked over to Lucy and smiled.
"Wow! I knew you were good, but you beat Lisanna..." Erza leaned close to whisper in her ear, "She doesn't seem to pleased, but don't let that bother you or let her do anything. She is normally the winner of this."
"I didn't think I would win! I really had no idea what song to sing to begin with." She whispered to Erza.
"Well, I'm sure the rest of the school will be blown away when you sing." Erza smiles.
"I don't think I want to do it...Lisanna looks like she's about to kill me."
"Ignore her." Erza rolled her eyes.
The two of them were at the bar. Erza was having a Cherry Soda while Lucy was just having some water the moment. Gray came over and put his hand on Lucy's shoulder.
"Yo, you did really good up there." Gray smiled.
"Thanks Gray." She smiled back as she sipped on her water.
"Don't worry about Lisanna, she's not used to someone new coming along and taking the spot life." Gray added as he looked over at Lisanna who seemed to be a bit upset because she didn't win. "Don't let her imitate you to make her sing."
"Erza said not let her try anything. You two seem to think she's going to try something with me." Lucy was now really worried if Lisanna was going to try something.
With Lisanna, she wrapped her arms around Natsu. "Natsu! Could you believe it that...that new girl won! I usually win!" Lisanna pouted.
Natsu - who was already tired of her whining to him about her losing - couldn't help but look at Lucy. There just something about her, like he knew her. He swore up and down that he didn't know her at all. Though that blonde hair was saying something otherwise.
"Well, there's always a chance that she doesn't show up and you can perform in her spot." Natsu smiled at her.
Why did he put up with her? Over the beginning of the Summer, she started to push herself away from him after they met with Ren, Hibiki and Eve. Three as just something about these boys that made Natsu wonder how popular they are at their own school. Lucy turned to see Natsu staring at her - with confusion in his eyes, but she turned back around and looked at Erza.
"I have no clue what to sing, I mean after - something happened, I turned to the Piano." Lucy sighed.
"Does someone need help?" Bickslow spoke up.
"Bicks!" Lucy jumped up at the sound of his voice.
"Geeze, the way you jumped up - you looked like a cute Bunny!" Ever laughed.
"Ohhh that's good! I'll call you Bunny!" Bickslow smiled.
"You will not!" Lucy looked at him.
"Anyways, Bickslow is right, do you need help? We can help you with the music and you can just sing." Ever smiled at her.
"Maybe, I just have to come up with a song." Lucy sighed.
"We can always play the instruments and you just join in and sing." Freed jumped into the conversation.
"Sounds like a good idea, Lu, you should do it!" Erza pointed out.
Gray looked at Lucy as she was hiding something - he knew he just met her, but it was like he wanted to help her. How could he? Would it be weird to hit up one of the guys and ask since she did go to their school. Sure he wasn't that close to them, but they were friends. Eve was mostly chatty about what was going on and asking questions. Maybe that was who he should contact. Then again, if Erza doesn't know - or does she know? Gray knew that he would have to ask her.
As Lucy agreed too have the help from her brother's friends, she knew that she was going to fit in just perfect. Just then as she was sipping on her smoothie, her phone went off. She pulled out her phone and saw that it was facebook message from Hibiki. Her face paled as she hasn't spoken to him in a few months. Erza noticed that Lucy's color drained from her face, and grabbed her phone.
"What does Hibiki want?" Erza asked as she looked between Lucy and the phone.
"Probably nothing. I didn't tell anyone I was moving Schools and he probably hacked into the school computers to find out that I won't be attending next year." Lucy said as she moved the straw around in her glass.
"Unlock your phone so I can respond to this Creature." Erza was seething cause she wanted to get down to why Lucy acted the way she did.
"Fine." Lucy unlocked her phone and handed it back to Erza.

Erza was seething. This is the worst that anyone has seen her. Erza turned to Lucy and spoke in a calm voice - which even frighten Gray. "What else did this creature do to you Lucy..."
"Not here...I can't say it here." Lucy said as she got up from her seat and dragged Erza outside.
Once the two were away from Fairy Tail, Lucy turned around and looked at Erza. "He..."
