UNIVERSAL COMPONENTSMATERIALSHARD ARMORExotic Diamond Nanolaminate, made with the same high-pressure compression processes used to make diamond nanothread for the space elevator, but now in an exotic crystalline structure - alternating 2D layers with varying molecular defects are at once incredibly strong, meaning most ballistic projectiles (even .50 cal tungsten!) shatter on impact, stable enough that thermal attacks (lasers) require egregious amounts of heat to have any effect – which can be shunted away via  thermoelectric nanofiber weaves interlocked at several levels and even converted into electrical energy - and variable enough that impacts from bullets, even those that shatter on impact - or, for that matter, explosive shockwaves - have their kinetic energy soaked up without lasting damage to the armor or the wearer. Whatever latent energy gets through is absorbed by soft armor and impact gel. The armor can also, temporarily, act as a Faraday Cage, protecting a suit against EMPs at the cost of deactivating all weapons.SOFT ARMORFlexible diamond nanothread under a few billion layers of diamene, an exotic allotrope of graphene capable of stopping bullets (it hardens on impact without shear-thickening fluid). While flexible applique hard armor is used at the joints, the risk of something getting through and locking the joints is still pretty big - still pretty dangerous. New-generation hardsuits have a neck that locks into place under armor plating when combat mode is entered, relying on the wider-than-human ‘fishbowl’ POV of the camfilm and the subsequent compensation of the Riastrad to mitigate problems that would otherwise require the turning of the neck.SKELETONHigh-entropy alloy with an outer, more flexible layer of DNT-based resin. Supporting the hardsuit’s weight, they’re designed to microfracture and rapidly reshape under serious strain like memory plastic - totally failing , the way the human skeleton does, would require some serious suit dissection in the field and that’s way too big of a risk.IMPACT GELTitanium-carbide shear-thickening fluid soaked impact padding in nonsensitive areas ensures that blunt-force trauma can be absorbed while causing minimal bruising and swelling for the pilot. Like EDNL, it’s nearly molecularly perfect material, and the inner lining of the gel is saturated with thermoelectric elements built to shunt away whatever energy gets through cleanly.MUSCULATUREElectrochemically actuated Carbon Nanotube musculature, forcing contraction through minute electrical signals. Can be overclocked to having effective strength multiplication of something like 50x (their actual strength is more like 200x but less ‘myomer’ is used compared to a human) but due to the power demands of such actions we assume multiplication of 10-25x human strength.NERVESFiber-optics transmit motor, weapon, and sensory signals at the speed of light, just a little faster than a regular human - shaving 80 milliseconds off the usual 250 millisecond reaction time (the other 170 ms is conscious processing, take that away and you get a full-body phantom limb syndrome). The Riastrad implant used in the second-generation hardsuits cuts that down to only 100 ms in normal circumstances, and 10 ms under extreme duress.SYSTEMSPROCESSORNeuromorphic, but a quantum-cascade neuro-photonic system in place of the squishier Boomer brain. Is not meant to operate on its own without a neural interface from an operator. But once it does operate – it’s pretty great, it’s 50 petabytes of neuro-photonic mass in a brain about the size of a walnut, all threat detectors, weapons control and autotargeting, health monitoring, stress mitigation. Located at the base of the neck, since if that gets hit the operator’s dead anyway. Upgraded to link with the Riastrad implant for second-generation hardsuits.SENSORSMultispectrum light for PESA. The optical feeds run around the helmet, a nanofilm similar to an insect’s compound eye, creating an integrated full-visibility image for the suit operator - ‘camfilm’, it’s called. While rearview video isn’t used, passive sensors outside of visibility do act as threat detectors. All this is wired through the Riastrad in the second-gen hardsuits, allowing for the ‘fishbowl’ FOV that the helmets provide to be interpreted without difficulty. Also Quantum Radar, essentially microwave-frequency scanners with close-enough-to-kiss short range but the ability to see through walls and outline hostiles even in near-dark situations without overly fancy nightvision.AESA is good old-fashioned multi-filament Lidar, capable of stupendous range and fidelity but also easy to detect in turn. You’re basically painting yourself as a target for missiles and other intelligent munitions when you use it, and as such the Saber units which have already been spotted use it – Nene may have the highest-powered array, but doesn’t use it in active combat, since she’s supposed to stay behind and control the battlefield without getting overly involved in it.COMMSHigh-temperature entangled quantum dots - actually, the Sabers have these in place of the ‘conventional’ cybersuite, as an alternate, covert feed which cannot be intercepted or hijacked, and has no range limits. The hardsuits use different dots on a different network, hooked up to Saber Mastimikes (bone-conduction microphones mounted in the jaw - standard mastimikes are part of the standard mass-produced cybersuite anyway).
ENVIRONMENTAL
Normally, the hardsuits rely on external air filtered through graphene-aerogel filters. These filter out most hazards, but in the case of anaerobic environments (underwater) a hardsuit can take in about five minutes’ worth of air supply in the chamber where it usually holds air for thrusters, and use it for breathing, and refilter that until it’s too stale to breathe for about ten minutes more. In other words, NBC sealing is possible, but rarely used, on the grounds that GENOM is highly unlikely to deploy such weapons in the heart of Megatokyo. Usage of some sort of liquid-breathing medium has been discussed, but not implemented – yet.STEALTHThe primary carrier of EW equipment is Nene, but that’s not to say other Sabers don’t have their own forms of defending against smart attacks. Exotic Diamond Nanolaminate not only can shunt away heat to prevent laser-painting with ease, it’s also fairly radar-absorbent. Sonar is pretty much the only weakness the suits have, but then again what ground-based machine isn’t weak to sonar? And make no mistake, the suits are made to be seen, visually, to work as their own advertisements.RIASTRADA neuro-photonic ‘pseudocortex’ made to synchronize with the second-generation hardsuits, named after the legendary ‘Warp Spasm’ of Cuchulain. It’s derived from Sylvie’s neural implants that allowed her to pilot the Nosferatu without any training thanks to the machine’s sensory layout having been implanted in her by Largo – before that it was essentially wasteware, used to speed up fine motor coordination learning so a given Sexaroid could be ready-made custom-tooled lovemakers quickly. That it was derived from experimental combat hardware is, well, it’s why GENOM stopped making Sexaroids even as secret loyalty rewards for the corporation’s patsies around 2066.Celia was able to retool the hardware, however, to be used as an implant to make hardsuit operation ‘hyperintuitive’, taking the vaguest signals from the brain, even ones an operator wasn’t quite aware of, and interpret them in a combat context. Best described as ‘knowing what I needed to do before I knew I needed to do it’, it’s closely integrated enough with the brain that phantom-limb syndrome isn’t a problem so long as one ‘goes with the flow’ and doesn’t overthink what they’re doing, accelerating the motor cortex’s ability to operate to extreme speeds thanks to fiber-optic signaling — see the Nerves section.MEDICALMedical injectors in the softsuit pump painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs via microneedle patches in the thighs, and the suit is self-sealing to prevent blood loss inside the suit or outside it (while the Sabers’ formal DNA registration in police databases is slightly erroneous thanks to Nene’s sabotage, that misdirection doesn’t apply to corporate or government intelligence databases, so mitigating biotraces following a wound is of the utmost importance), but beyond that not a whole lot of medical stuff can be done without external aid.ENERGYPRIMARY POWERYes, it’s a battery. Battery tech has just gotten better and better over the past few decades, propelled by the need for energy storage that isn’t fossil fuels. But Saber battery packs are a cut above even those, being lithium-oxygen batteries, about as energy-dense as you can make a battery (most 2060’s batteries are sodium-based to be infinitely cheaper since you can mine more sodium than lithium from desalination plants) without it being too explosive. Other technologies are being looked at, but the last thing Celia wants to do is strap a thorium pile reactor or a miniaturized tokamak to her back…CAPACITORSGraphene nanofoam is cheap, easy to print, and is an inner lining for the hardplate of the arms in a hardsuit, easily accessed by weapon systems for rapid discharge, easily fed energy separate from the main batteries, and easily recharged by them in the field.THRUSTERS AND VERNIERSThe thrusters are built for maximum thrust with minimal fuel — the core ‘firing chamber’ relies on bladeless miniaturized ramjets, which use magnetohydrodynamic loops to compress air, then use high-power lasers and a miniscule amount of helium reactant to ignite it. The same reactant is used for the verniers, but it’s fairly inert unless subjected to the same ignition. So the thrusters might not be capable of true flight before they require more heated air, but they can propel a Saber a few hundred meters in one big bounce.SABER-SPECIFIC SYSTEMS (WEAPONS, ETC)PRISS – ZWEIHÄNDER (ASSAULT)EMAG GUNSPriss’s right arm ‘Cannon’ and left arm ‘Chaingun’ are her main weapons, used to shatter enemy heavy armor and rip open their innards at medium to long range. Both are helical railguns, exotic hybrids of railguns and coilguns blended together in one system that combines the minimal amount of switching a railgun offers with the slightly longer barrel endurance time and net power of a coilgun. The ‘Cannon’ fires 15*105mm disintegrating-sabot rounds, each holding a single tungsten-carbide 5mm flechette capable of penetrating most armor short of a tank or Battlemover / Battlesuit. It fires at approximately the rate of a bolt-action rifle, due to its intense power drain requiring a second to cycle from one recharging capacitor bank to the next. Shots are mounted in revolving magazines of 6 shots each, with 2 extra magazines mounted in the upper arm. When reloading is necessary, the right arm can be set to go rigid to drop the magazine into the loading chamber for further firing. On missions where heavy armor is expected, a full-bore tungsten slug can be fired from the cannon, with Priss usually carrying 3 or so on an external mount. However, the power needed to throw these slugs at the appropriate hypervelocity will usually brownout every capacitor bank in the right arm, leaving that gun useless for up to ten seconds, an eternity in combat time. The ‘Chaingun’ fires 5*30mm rounds with a little less velocity imparted on them. 150 shots can fit in a rotating-bolt mechanism similar to the 20th century G11, and they can fire fast, often emptying a magazine with just ten seconds of sustained fire. Again, two spare magazines are loaded into the upper arm and are dropped down into the forearm when reloading. Priss uses the chaingun as an overpowered assault rifle, putting down less dangerous Boomers and other enemies with quick bursts, or attacking weakened joint armor on heavier enemies to cripple them. RAILFISTPriss’s melee weapon of choice, one weirdly suited to her no-holds-barred style of combat. It’s essentially a set of electromagnetic pistons in each limb which, after a half-second of charge time, throw the entire limb forward in a barely controlled hypersonic attack, igniting the air around the blow and usually smashing a sizable crater in an enemy. It’s not as much of a fight-ending implement as anything Lena uses, but a well-placed blow can cripple or stagger a too-close enemy just long enough for Priss to put them down with her ranged weapons.CELIA – DAISHO (MULTIFUNCTION)LASER GUNSTwin blue-white multi-filament femtosecond-pulse laser beam guns, each capable of putting out 40 kilojoules per pulse. While not as effective at destroying armor as Priss’s guns are, Celia’s lasers still pack a surprising punch. Pulsed lasers work by heating a sliver of contacted material in a sliver of an instant (eg. a femto or even attosecond) into plasma, creating a plasma explosion at the target, as well as creating a plasma filament out of conducting air that self-focuses the pulse even in adverse conditions. Any given laser weapon not only creates a stunning flashbang at the point of contact, and usually ablates armor that isn’t good at shunting heat away quite easily, but also can create a localized EMP as well. So while Celia’s lasers fire fast, hit hard, and are accurate at range, she mostly uses them to soften up and stun targets in a way Priss or Lena can’t quite replicate, without much regard for ammo economy. Then, she follows up with her true killing implements…RESONANCE BLADESNano-serrated DNT-reinforced Damascus Steel is nothing to sneeze at. Vibrating the blade at 40 gigahertz using ultrasonic projectors embedded in the blade? Well, now shit gets fuckin’ real. You can practically hear RULES OF NATURE blaring in the background, can’t you?The principle behind Celia’s resonance blades are simple: vibrate a blade to extreme speeds and it transmits more energy into the blade, cutting into a surface (eg. Boomer armor) faster and ensuring a wider wound channel. So Celia’s not cutting so finely she’s destroying molecular bonds or anything, but she is making short work of the nanotube-resin composites that most Boomers use for armor.Granted, Celia doesn’t wave the Resonance blades around a whole lot. They spring out of their slots on the outer wrists, lock into place, then impale or slice up a Boomer in a few swift motions, then sheath right back in. Simple. Clean. Brutal.FLIGHT PACKCelia’s flight pack is more maneuverable and has a higher fuel storage capacity than the average Saber jump pack, allowing for true powered flight. Granted, the wings don’t actually serve any function as gliders, but instead as thrust nozzles that can be moved around the body on ball joints to pull off acrobatic semi-flying moves. And granted, the flight pack does have the problem of being an extremely obvious target. This is why, like her resonance blades, they’re only used in very brief windows of opportunity when she can be sure an enemy won’t target her, changing position in active combat so she can get behind or around an enemy formation to pummel it with laser fire.METACAMOUnderneath a transparent layer of Celia’s armor is metacamo, which bends light and most all other radiation around it omnidirectionally. Keeps her all but invisible. Blades still show up, blasters and thrusters still show up, but radar, lidar, infra, all that stuff can’t so much as sense she’s there if she goes silent. Celia uses it in a close-up role, making sure that Boomers lose track of her. Then she can strike fast, and ghost away again.LENA – URUMI (RAPID-ENGAGEMENT MELEE)NANOWIRES & GRAPPLING DAGGERS
Monowire is not a real thing. Let’s make that clear.
Thin wires of immense strength which can be electrically charged to bristle with nanoserrated razor edges, though? Eminently possible. Incredibly easy to make for someone like Celia. So Lena Yamazaki’s primary weapons are these wires, used to slice and dice enemies into mincemeat at slightly longer range than Celia’s own resonance blades. But wait! There’s more. The heads of the whip-wires are armor-piercing daggers, which can be fired into an enemy or a surface to allow Spiderman / Attack on Titan-like maneuvering through 3D space, grappling to or around an enemy – and they can be wired to deliver nasty electrical shocks, just enough to stun an enemy so Lena can hit them hard.MAYHEM BOMBERSLena’s other primary weapon are these beauties, installed on her fists, feet, knees, and elbows, five on the limbs and three on the joints. They’re essentially miniaturized antitank charges, using EMP’s from compressed magnetic flux generators to shape molten metal into penetrators which are then slammed into an enemy point-blank. Brutally effective, it’s a long-running subject of debate between Priss and Lena as to whose main weapon has notched more kills – the Bombers or Priss’s railcannon. Lena might actually have the edge, as she’s often the one to deal the killing blow on a softened up target, dodging in and out of danger with ease, in the thick of it, to twist, break, and then kill.POINT-DEFENSE LASERSSimple high-ROF pulse lasers mounted on the sides of Lena’s head, made to track with her head and intercept attacks at point-blank range, or at least to damage whatever’s coming towards her. All the other girls have some form of anti-missile takedowns (Priss’s chainguns, Celia’s laserguns, Nene’s EW, Sylvie’s payload rifle), so why not her?NENE – SWORDBREAKER (ELECTRONIC WARFARE)JACKDARTA sniping weapon of sorts (it even has a telescoping barrel) the Jackdart fires large-ish rocket-propelled armor-piercing darts from a reserve built into the right arm of Nene’s hardsuit. The darts are launched by coilgun at subsonic velocities, with rocket motors then being remotely triggered some ways away from the suit. They’re not meant to go all the way through, of course, and are meant to be targeted at weakpoints like the neck or sensor suite of an enemy. Jackdarts are meant to do almost no damage at all.Inside each jackdart is either a petabit laser transponder or an entangled quantum dot, and intelligent fiber-optic tendrils meant to weave their way into sensitive information-carrying systems within a given enemy such as a Boomer. Just like that, Nene can easily overcome the stupid-simple defense of airgapping vital functions of a given machine and upload prebuilt hacks to sabotage an individual enemy or their localized network.Of course, there’s a lot of things that can go wrong in between firing a jackdart and forcing an ammunition cook-off in a 12B’s main cannon. The enemy can’t internally defend against such an attack electronically, they’d have to shut themselves down to prevent further infection of systems, but they can rip the dart out of its impact site and sever the connection. Or the dart can just straight up miss , since the dart isn’t big enough to have any means to control itself in flight, at which point it needs to self-destruct or risk capture. But more often than not, a jackdart will fly straight, fly true, and induce catastrophic failure states in a Boomer or powersuit. It’s just like Cyberpunk 2077!JACKSPIKEA fiber-optic cord with a dagger head several meters long, capable of being fired like a grappling line. The Jackspike works the same as a Jackdart, but works better at close ranges and has a higher amount of information it can transmit faster. In other words, while a Jackdart might be able to shut down a few key systems, a Jackspike attack often allows Nene to ‘rodeo’ a big enemy and remote control it entirely! Which is, of course, much riskier than sniping, but sometimes it’s necessary.EW SUITE (‘HACKPACK’) & HYPER-SENSORSNene’s Hackpack (as she fondly refers to it) is akin to an electronic warfare suite from a fighter jet, but miniaturized and made more efficient through various innovations courtesy of Celia. It requires incredible amounts of energy to run, precluding active-combat weapons for Saber Pink save the Pulse-Strikers, but with a quantum-megabyte of processing power plus an exabyte-level neuro-photonic brain available to it at any given moment, the suit can easily scan the ambient environment, detect communications, decrypt them, and jam them even should they attempt to jump frequencies. This is more vital than you might think, since pretty much all Boomers operate in locally-networked hive minds that allow for planning and coordination that they normally cannot accomplish. Jam the hivemind, and Boomers get a lot stupider, less able to express any tactics beyond individual desire to kill. Also, this system can jam homing missiles, preventing them from getting a lock on Sabers and even turning them against the launcher.PULSE-STRIKERSSupposedly, the effectiveness of an EMP falls off with the square of distance, which is why an EMP ‘ray’, as depicted in the original series, wouldn’t work very well. Instead, Nene’s Pulse-Strikers are high-power electrolasers designed to hit each other and create a ball of plasma from any material found at a target area, whether that’s atmosphere or armor, and then channel motherfucking lightning along the laser guides. In essence, it creates ball lightning at a target area, and even if it doesn’t do a lot of ambient damage it will black out valuable electronics as long as there isn’t some sort of Faraday Cage-y thing going on with enemy armor (which, then, have Priss fire a railcannon shot into said armor, and damage it enough to make the pulse effective, problem solved). That being said, the cooldown between these big beefy AOE attacks as capacitors build up power again can take up to ten seconds.FOREARM SHIELDA simple extending ‘Tower Shield’ on Nene’s left arm designed to fold out and provide frontal protection against any big attacks coming her way as she does her Jackdarting work, and to keep her alive in case something catches up with her long enough for one of the Sabers to come in and deal with the enemy for her.SYLVIE – MORNINGSTAR (DEMOLITIONS)
COLORING
We all know what the other hardsuits look like – take the second-gen hardsuits from OVA 8 and you’re good – but Sylvie’s hardsuit is all-new, so what’s it look like? Imagine a hot red (not the pink of Nene’s suit) on the upper torso, upper limbs, and thighs, with the forelimbs of the suit being a sort of gold-ish orange, and the middle torso being the same gray as any hardsuit’s midsection. The helmet is shaped like Linna’s with more mass in the front, and is the same red but with orange-gold streaks running along it.LIMPET MINESSimple multipurpose cores of heptanitrocubane with nanothermite around the cores to create an incendiary or shaped-charge spray, shaped roughly like discs. Mounted on Sylvie’s thighs, they can be thrown to airburst, set as shaped demolition charges that can be slapped on a surface, or used as visual-active mines.PAYLOAD RIFLEInspired by a turn-of-the-century weapon concept – the grenade-launching sniper rifle – Sylvie’s Payload Rifle fires 30*65mm shells from one massive helical railgun on her right arm. It doesn’t fire said shells at double-digit mach-velocities, mind you, just fast enough to punch through reactive armor or something like that. Too fast, and the explosives in any given shell might go off in midair. The payload rifle, instead, is used as a demolitions weapon, which can take multiple types of payload shell in three different tube magazines lining the upper arm (the arm must be rigid to fire). Nanothermite incendiary high-explosives are one type of shell; MAHEM plasma shells are another; Scramble Smoke, a sort of electrified smoke made out of signal-bouncing nanoparticles, is another kind; anti-bunker thermobaric shells are another pick that Sylvie hopes to never have to use; and a simple Homing Missile with image guidance is a fifth option. All have airburst capability, all are used more to blow up a large amount of material instead of destroying them with less collateral… all really signify that Celia has thrown down the gauntlet for the Knight Sabers, expecting warzones in her future and not just urban combat encounters.ANTITANK WEAPONFor Sylvie’s ultimate weapon, the One Gun To Rule Them All, Celia used a system that, as of the 2060’s, is well over a century old. That’s right, motherfuckers, she used a military surplus Carl Gustaf. Seasons may change, ammunition may become more complex, but the 84mm Chuckie Gee will probably just keep getting upgraded. Imagine: An antitank shell with a downscaled rocket motor and visual guidance powerful enough to serve as a multi-shot Javelin. Maybe with not as much power as a Javelin or a Stinger, but enough to absolutely wreck shit. That’s Sylvie’s Big Gun.Okay, so it’s only capable of storing one shot in its barrel and maybe two more in a back-mounted hopper, and God help Sylvie if that hopper gets hit ‘cause no one else will. But the possibilities are… well, they’re possible. Read up on the types of ammo a Carl Gustaf can store (eg. a 1100-flechette antipersonnel shell), assume Celia can get most of these shells from contacts in the JSDF who let surplus go missing, and be amazed.MACKIE – TONFA (SUPPORT)(Look, even if I don’t have any plans to show Mackie doing support stuff in the fic, just bear with me, okay? Say he only dons the Tonfa in times of great emergency.)MADOX-PATTERNThe MADOX powersuit, first developed for the Quad alliance in WW3, changed the face of armored infantry systems forever, by virtue of not just being the first powersuit used by the Quad, but by being a fucking bonkers piece of hardware on top of it. Only a few dozen were produced before the cheaper and almost-as-good K-suit became the default powersuit used in the closing days of the war, and to this day mil-otas compare one to the other the way one might compare a full RX-78-2 Gundam to a mere GM Mobile Suit. So it was no surprise, then, that for his eighteenth birthday, at the start of the Knight Sabers as an organization, Celia bought her little brother the blueprints to the original MADOX. He’d begged for them, after all. Wanted more than anything to be a part of what his big sis was doing. So for the next year or so, armed with Daddy Stingray’s advanced technologies and his own enhanced intellect, Mackie built a MADOX-type chassis from the ground up with the same hemorrhaging-edge tricks as a hardsuit. And the result is, like the original MADOX, a fucking bonkers piece of hardware. The key to this bonkersness is the Ground Effect System, which effectively turns the suit into a hovercraft by extending two wings almost each as wide as the suit, then running two high-power turbines underneath them, creating a vortex of air not unlike an ekranoplan that lifts up the Tonfa with ease. So the Tonfa might only be barely able to jump as far as a regular hardsuit, but on even surfaces it can move much, much faster than a hardsuit, even keeping pace with a Motoslave.6.8MM ‘MIDIGUN’Mackie’s only weapon, a triple-barreled gatling helical railgun capable of laying down a cool 800 RPM without trying very hard. It uses AP rounds of the caliber now used by American forces worldwide, in place of the minigun’s 7.62 NATO or the microgun’s 5.56 – hence the term ‘midi’ gun. It’s fundamentally a suppression weapon – damage the enemy hard enough to push them back so you can advance and retreat with ease without wasting time trying to kill them.CARRIER PACKThe Tonfa has a high tolerance for weight being slapped onto it that isn’t part of its core chassis, a feature that defines the suit’s function in combat. In essence, Mackie will equip a care package of ammo for the hardsuits and Motoslaves or a cryocoffin carrying a hardsuit, or an empty medical cryocoffin, barge onto the battlefield, then either drop off his payload or retrieve a badly wounded Saber from the combat environment. It’s simple, and yet it’s a function Motoslaves can’t really perform, since they lack the ability to lug such payloads around without sacrificing mobility.THE MOTOSLAVESThe Motoslaves are a set of hydrogen-gas turbine / battery-hybrid motorcycles that transform into exo-armor for the Sabers to use in tight situations, as well as semi-autonomous automata the Sabers can use as support units. Combat doctrine dictates that only two Motoslaves show up in bipedal mode to any given battle, otherwise they get in each other’s way and provide easy and expensive targets. But they are a) autonomous, which makes them useful carriers of any given Saber in and out of combat, and b) can carry heavy weapons into battle for when a combat scenario is known in advance to require fighting Battle Boomers or even tanks. Since the Slaves are functionally identical to one another (for now, anyway, Mackie and Celia’s engineering buddies are hard at work designing new ones based off of the Highway Star), and draw on the same technologies as Saber suits but scaled up, little need be said about them. Assume they carry military-surplus heavy weapons, the kind you’d otherwise find on a Battle Boomer or combat troop carrier, and… yeah. That’s it.
