The stars were glittering as the limbos drove past, Roland Crane watched them fly by, constellations and all that William had told him coming to mind, he couldn't help but smile softly at that "We'll be arriving shortly, Mr. President."Roland simply nodded at that, as he straighten his tie a little, have to be perfectly presentable of course Though, he couldn't shake off the feeling that something is wrong, he shook his head trying to clear it but he heard something, a whistling sound, he looked around until his eyes landed on a contrail, he followed it and his eyes widen at the missile, when it got quiet he decided to opened his mouth but before he could even speak, the sound of an explosion filled the silence, the blast coming all the way to them, the driver let out a cry as he tried to swerve the vehicle as debris flew but couldn't get out the way in timeThe debris hit them causing Roland to fling his head back, broken glass cutting right into his head, he didn't dare open his eyes to see if the driver.. if he was okay, he suddenly felt heat as the blast made it's round, causing the whole vehicle to fly, his mind was jumbled as he heard sevral other explosions going off, no longer sure if it was more bombs or the vehicles' enginesAs he hit the hard road he finally got a peek of everything, even if it wasn't for very long The city. Everything in his blurry and slowing darkening sightGone.He couldn't struggle no more as the pain heightened, he rested his head hoping he'll wake up to see everything better, to see his son…. Evan looked out his window ears folded back a bit as he felt worry settle in his stomach 'Nella said she'll be back a while ago' and yet she was not here, he shook his head and batted at his face, he needs to clear his mind and get this over with He turned and head to the doors in his room, hand on the handle but before he could pull it open, the fur on his nape rose and his ears pinned themselves to the sided of his head, he whipped around and saw light blue runes appear, glowing and slowly rotating, they started to rotate faster as the glowing got brighter, a whirring noise coming from it, Evan let out a small hiss as he covered his eyes with his sleeveThere was silence and then a thud Evan slowly lowered his sleeve to see a man, an injured man actually, Evan blinked a few times as the man rose, his strange outfit was dirty and holes in them, blood coating some parts of them and perhaps some in his raven blue hairHe was honestly too surprised to do anything but immediately pulled his dagger once the man started to move"H-halt! Don't move o-or I'll strike!" He growled out, his fluffed up tail lashing to and forth "Who are you and where did y-you come from! Have you come to harm me?!""Never mind the who... But more of 'Where'?" The man looked around until his eyes caught sight of the mirror, he ran over to it, ignoring Evan's surprised yelp "Well... Would you look at that.." he muttered as he examined his face, lightly touching the wound on his head, he let out a hiss once his finger went in contact with it, blood leaving it's mark on his fingerHe took once glance at the boy before bolting right pass him, earning another surprised yelp, he stopped when he almost hit the wall, Roland took a few steps back as he looked around, hand resting his chin, he let out a hum as the child ran up to him, dagger still pointed at him, he turned to the startled child"I-i am Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, king of Ding Dong Dell! And you are trespassing!" He hissed out, eyes so full of fire and determination, just like Will...Roland blinked at him, fully taking in his appearance, pale skin(?) With dark orange stripes on his cheeks and cat ears 'cat ears!?' a darker orange color on the bridge of his nose and and more paler color on his upper lip, golden locks and bangs framing his faceNot to mention the light blue medieval outfit The child snapped at him, repeating what he said from earlier"Who are you-!"He jumped when an explosion shook the place"What was that! Was that your doing!" He accused Roland, shoving the dagger forward, the point poking him in his chest, Roland held his hands up in surrender "I didn't do anything yet? I only got here and just as confused as you are!" Evan stared at him for a few moments but slowly lowering his dagger, taking a few steps awayAnother explosion rang out, Roland looked to the stairs going down"I'm going to go investigate, see what's going on, you stay here, kid" he took off without waiting for an answer, leaving Evan sputtering in frustration and gave chase Roland was close to the door when he saw gold and blue flash by in his vision, Evan ran up to two mouse guards 'cat people and mice people?! What next?!' Evan pointed his dagger at Roland and spoke "Guards! Seize him!"They looked to one another with hesitation before the one with the black muzzle nodded and raised his swordEvan's ear twitched as he looked up to see the rised sword about to come down, he coward thinking this was it, his hand erupted with pain but before he can even see it a loud bang rang out, he looked up to see the black muzzled guard on the ground, blood covered his mouth and head and Evan instantly looked away, letting out a whimper, he looked at the other guard who paused and then turned tail and ran, he looked over to the man with some sort of contraption 'wasn't it called a gun?' he shakily gotten up and ran behind the man, knowing that others will come"That'll teach me from getting trigger happy." The man mumbled as he put it away and started to walk over to the still guard, picking up his sword, he looked at it with a grimace before settling into a fighting position, another mouse busted through the door in front, this one was smaller looking, a pale muzzle instead of black or grey, they let out a call as others started to charge in Roland immediately blocked one of the attackers before kicking them in the stomach, he cut through another and hit them on the head with the back of the swordEvan let out a cry, causing him to turn, the kid held out his dagger with blood now on it, a body next to him, he dropped his dagger and covered his eyes, trying to sink deeper in the cornerRoland ran up to him and grabbed him by the arm, he jerked up looking at him with fear, Roland lowered his voice for him "we have leave, I don't think this place is safe for you anymore." Evan nodded before swiping up his dagger and ran closely after Roland
