It was September 30th, a cold day, truth be told. And on this cold day, Tommy was to die. The blonde sat on the railing of the bridge, breathing slowly. This would be his last moments, breathing, Surviving, alive. He hated to call surviving, living. Because he wasn't living, there was a large difference between living your life, and surviving it. And he was not living. Far from it, actually. Every painstaking day was hard. Going to school, interacting with his friends, his family. It was so, so tiring, and he didn’t want to try anymore. He didn’t want to try and act like he was okay, he didn't want to try to pretend that he was happy. He didn't want to do this anymore, everything was all too much, all too overwhelming, and he couldn't take it. He wasn’t stupid not to leave anything behind, a few not very simple letters tucked nicely away in their own envelopes for his family and friends. That was about it, nothing more was to be said. The notes containing all of his feelings, his thoughts, his wishes, his experiences were all he felt should be left behind. There were some things that he did end up leaving besides the notes. He left his favourite sweaters, his childhood stuffed animal, henry, and a few nick-nacks here and there. In the note titled “family” he had entitled all of his belongings to whomever wanted them. If anyone even wanted them, that is. He would be dead anyway, Why would he care about what happened to his things? And so he continued to sit on the ledge and breathe, listening to the cars flying past, the water rushing below, his wings ruffling in the wind. It was a good day to die, rainy, silent, lonely, cold. he felt his phone buzz in his pocket, someone was calling him . Why? He pulled his phone out of his pocket, the screen displaying a name.
‘Techno’ is calling

The hell..? Techno rarely ever called, and when he did it was usually an emergency. He decided to pick up, despite where he was and what he was going to do. “Hello?” The blonde said quietly. “Tommy? Hello?” the pinkett responded, he sounded worried. “Hey, uh. What do you need? M’ kinda busy right now.” he spoke after a few moments of silence. “Where are you.” it wasn't a question, no, no not at all. More of a demand. “Woh, woh, woh, calm down, big man. Why do you need to know where I am?” he laughed out, fiddling with his hoodie as the two spoke. Nothing was funny, why was he laughing? “ Tommy,” Technoblade sneered, venom lacing his voice. Tommy, now regretting picking up, sat there not sure what to do. “Where the fuck are you. No excuses, no jokes, where the hell are you.” “I-...” The blonde stuttered, looking at the water below. “Why? Why do you need to know where I'm at? Why does it matter?” He now very much regretted picking the phone up. Tommy shifted uncomfortably on the railing. “Fucking- Drive!” he heard through the phone, presumably Techno yelling at someone. “Tommy, it doesn't matter. Tell me where you are.” the older man demanded, now sounding very worried, on the verge of sobbing, if you will. Tommy hung up, his phone buzzing uncontrollably again after putting his phone back to the darkness of his pocket. Tires screeching can be heard in the distance, fuck. He thought, hearing a car door slam, then another. He subconsciously shrunk in on himself, letting his death grip on the railing beneath him go. “Tommy- Tommy, get off the ledge.” Techno cried, standing a few feet back because of the barrier. Tommy looked back at the ladder, he smiled. And for a split second, tommy could see the wash of relief go over the pinkett's face. Tommy pulled his phone out of the hoodie pocket it was in, and dropped it to the ground behind him. His wings caught air for the last time, the red feathers looked beautiful in the pure light. “I’m sorry…” he mumbled, before sliding off of the railing and into the water below. It was cold, as he assumed. It was late September, so of course it would be cold. He held his breath for as long as he could, struggling with the current before opening his eyes to see a crimson cloud dancing around him. Wait, wait, no, no, nonononono, he didn’t want this! He eventually let go. This was it.
This… this was it. this is what he had lived for, this moment. this is what he was meant to do.

Techno, well, I guess I should call you by your full name now that I’m not necessarily your brother. if that makes any sense-- anyway, I enjoyed your company, alot.. So, thank you for that. You were just silent. And in the long run, I guess that hurt quite a bit more. But at least you didn't do anything dumb with words unlike Wilbur, or Phil.
And that makes sense, you were never one for words. Instead, simple gestures.
You enjoyed silence, and I was not silent. So I hope you can better enjoy your time at home now that I’m no longer there :)
I want to make this as vague as possible, but I didn’t get help for a reason.
I don't feel as if I should say I’m sorry, because this whole mess was my own doing. But I truly am sorry. I’m sorry for ruining your family, and intruding on what you had. I didn’t mean to do that. hell, I didn't even want to be addopted, I was fine switching houses untill I grew out of the system. But I hope you can move on from this incident and live your life happily. Thank you, Technoblade.
