Himari Uehara is in a band with Tomoe Udagawa. Himari is falling in love with Tomoe. Himari would like to confess her feelings to Tomoe. To confess is to remove the barriers between the two people. Himari has some difficulties confessing to Tomoe. In the same way, Tomoe has some difficulties in accepting her feelings towards Himari.Himari Uehara and Tomoe Udagawa are from the band "Afterglow". They were on a concert tour in Hokkaido. Then, they met Ayaka Saito, a beautiful but straightforward girl, who was in Hokkaido for her vacation. Tomoe was attracted to Ayaka. But then, Himari found out that Ayaka and Tomoe were in a relationship. She found that Tomoe likes Ayaka and is in love with her, and she did not like this at all.Tomoe Udagawa has lots of problems accepting Himari Uehara's feelings. She thinks that she has a crush on him, and she is not prepared for her strong love. She has feelings for a girl named Maki who is in love with her. Tomoe is in love with Ayaka. But Ayaka and Tomoe are in love.Maki Saito and Himari Uehara entered a relationship, and Himari grew distant with Tomoe.One day, Tomoe and Himari happened to meet each other again. Tomoe was stunned. Himari told Tomoe that she was in love with her, and Himari also told Tomoe that she was in love with Maki. She hoped that Tomoe could understand. Then, she returned to Hokkaido.In a hotel room in the hotel they had previously visited, Tomoe thought about Himari. Her warmth and character attracted her. She was a bit different from the rest of the girls in their band. She felt that she was a mature person. She also accepted her feelings for Himari. She found her to be cute and smart, but it did not make up for the fact that she was in love with another girl. She hoped to confess to Himari, but she was not able to do so. She is involved with her studies and her family, and has no time to date. Tomoe went to Hokkaido after their concert tour. She waited for Himari Uehara for one month. She finally decided to return to her home island. When she arrived, her mother told her about a mysterious girl who liked her. She asked Tomoe to find this mysterious girl and set her up with Himari Uehara. She was willing to help Himari find someone new after she'd broken up with Maki.However, her mother and brother forced Himari to marry to a rich woman. She had to cut her hair and wear a wedding dress. When she wore that wedding dress, she looked like a man. It hurt Himari to be mistaken for a man. Her mother told her that the wedding dress was her present. She said it was for her happiness. Now, Ayaka is the wife of a rich businessman. Himari Uehara is a housewife, who has a normal and content life.Himari's life has turned upside down. But she knows that her true feelings do not change, and she still loves Tomoe. One day, she was walking on the beach and imagined the scene that had been in her dream. She went to the church, she was doing her tasks as a housewife, and she still was the girl in her dream. She visited Tomoe's home and stole her concert set. She wanted to play at a concert with her. Himari woke up and knew that she was not able to pursue her love for Tomoe.However, someone has figured out that Himari was Tomoe's true love. Tomoe is in the hospital, but she thinks that Himari is still in Hokkaido. However, she is not there. Someone is responsible for Himari's kidnapping.Himari Uehara and Ayaka Saito do not know that they are being controlled by the person who controls them. The actions of the kidnapper are a secret. He tells Himari Uehara to perform in the concert, and Tomoe Udagawa to search for her. The kidnapper tells Ayaka Saito to convince Ayaka to give her and Tomoe a chance.Himari and Ayaka begin to be chased by the kidnapper. They hide in a restaurant. Himari is prepared to perform her song, and Ayaka is going to confront her. The song was made for Ayaka, but she did not want to perform it. She wanted Himari to play the piano instead. The kidnapper always had a problem with this decision. He was always nagging about it.In the café, Himari began to sing. She forgot Ayaka's little sister was watching. She continued to sing as if nothing had happened. She sang, "How Do I Love Her?" It was her own little show. When Tomoe heard it, her eyes turned as red as Himari's. The kidnapper brought them together, and they disappeared.Himari and Ayaka had an intense hatred for each other. They hated each other, but they were both victims. Both of them were in the same situation, and they both needed help. They ended up running away from the kidnapper. However, the two of them found themselves in the same place at the same time. It was then, that they realized that they loved each other. Both Himari and Ayaka had been divorced, so they were single.They went back to the concert to finish it. However, they knew that they had to spend the rest of their lives together. As Ayaka wanted Himari to sing her song, Himari decided to propose to Ayaka on stage. Ayaka was shocked when she realized what had just happened. The band played, and the stage lights dimmed.Luckily, the kidnapper had already been busy. He left Ayaka and Himari alone. Himari said her vows, and then she kissed Ayaka. The two of them ran to the airport and boarded the plane. They have made their marriage, and Himari and Ayaka are together. But Tomoe is angry that she is all alone. She is sure that she can find her true love. She did not want to run after Himari. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and she was the only person left.
Tomoe ended up finding Kaoru Seta. Kaoru and Tomoe have known each other for a long time. Back in high school, Himari had a crush on Kaoru, so they had history as well. However, after being in a relationship with Kaoru for 3 months, Himari left Kaoru to focus on the band. Now, 5 years later, Tomoe is in love with Kaoru.
Himari had a flashback to her debut as a musician. She got a surprise performance and told her parents that she was going to a local concert. Kaoru had a present for Himari, but she told her that it was her turn to give Kaoru something. Kaoru got on her hands and knees, and she said the things that she wanted from Himari. She told her that she loved Himari for who she was. Kaoru ended up crying, because she has always felt unloved.Tomoe explained to the newly married Satou's that she had fallen in love with Kaoru, but she was simply going to have fun with her for a little while. She told Kaoru to run away if she knew that she had feelings for Himari. Tomoe left Kaoru.
