"Allura, Lotor, and Keith"Lotor entered the royal suite and stopped short. Allura was sitting in the bed, reading a book, but she was alone. He had been fully expecting Keith to be there with their wife, so to find her alone was concerning. Nonetheless, he approached her and reached out to gently tuck a lock of her blonde hair behind her ear. She leaned into his hand with her eyes closed."Where is Keith tonight?" Lotor asked."He mentioned he needed to do some more in depth reports for the Garrison, so he went to his office to do them, but that was a few hours ago. I was about to go find out what was keeping him," Allura answered, opening her eyes."I will go. If nothing else, I can drag him back here. He works too much."Allura giggled. "He always has. Bring our husband home."Allura had started referring to her two husbands as each other's husband a few months after their wedding, and neither man was opposed to the label. They were simply co-husbands, even though they were friendly towards each other.Lotor gave a little bow towards Allura. "I will."Lotor left the room and headed for the commander's office. The Drule didn't understand why Keith was still reporting to the Garrison, but he assumed it was because he wasn't stepping down as commander of the Voltron Force. Most people had assumed that when Allura, Keith, and Lotor had their coronation that the former two would step down from flying their lions, but they were mistaken. Keith and Allura loved defending the planet (and the rest of the universe) and wouldn't let a little thing like being Prince Consort and Queen stop them. Even though Keith was Allura's first husband, he was not royal and thus couldn't be called "King" (even when Allura became queen). Lotor, on the other hand, could be called "King," even though he was disowned by his father.The light coming from under the door leading to Keith's office drew Lotor's attention. Was Keith still working? Lotor hit the door chime, but there was no answer. He opened the door and found out why that was. Keith was slumped over his desk, asleep. It was obvious that Keith passed out while working on a report. Lotor shook his head and gently pulled the incomplete report out from under Keith's arms and placed it in Keith's 'inbox.' He sighed before he leaned Keith back into his chair and then maneuvered him into his arms. He kept one arm under his knees and the other one bracing his back. Keith's head was pillowed against his shoulder. He effortlessly carried him to their room.Allura looked up when the door opened, and she was surprised to see Lotor carrying Keith in. "Is he asleep?""He apparently fell asleep at his desk, working on a report." Lotor paused as he wasn't sure where to lay Keith down. Normally, Allura slept in the middle of the bed, but she was currently laying in Keith's spot as he had a bedside lamp for nighttime reading.Allura smiled and patted her normal place. "Just lay him here. He and I will trade places for the night."Lotor acquiesced and laid Keith down in the center of the bed. He tugged off his white boots before getting ready for bed himself. He settled into his normal place. He drifted off to sleep easily as his wife and co-husband were in bed as well.Fin
