"Yeah, I like dating women too."She smiles, "I knew it.""Oh, is that so?""Well, maybe I didn't actually know it, but I was certainly hoping so," Anna looks very pleased with herself. "I mean, there's a saying in my family about this orb you know. In fact, it's a family heirloom that's supposed to be a good luck charm when it comes to finding love. It belonged to my sis, she's the one who inherited it, but she gave it to me as a joke. She said I didn't seem to be having any luck 'finding Mr. Right'.""Does your family not know?""Oh, my sis definitely knows. That's why she thought it was funny. She made that wisecrack in front of my parents. My parents are kinda in denial I think. Earlier I did tell them I was bi and that I was dating girls, but they seem to consider it a phase or something. I'll have to break it to them eventually, cause they're always asking about the 'boys' I'm interested in."I nod, parents can be clueless sometimes alright."I'm not much of a believer in fate or anything, but it is kinda nice that the woman who found the match to my orb happens to like girls too," Anna crosses her arms thoughtfully. "And doesn't hurt that she happens to be cute as well.""You're not so bad yourself," I feel my ears start to burn a little with embarrassment. But it's true, Anna really is quite attractive."Well, I do have the advantage of seeing you in your bathing costume. I can't say I mind to be honest," Anna leans forward a little, she's gauging my reaction to this. This girl's a real flirt. While I don't mind a little bit of flattery on occasion, I am starting to feel a little self conscious about what I'm wearing now. I decide to throw it right back at her, "Well, perhaps next time we talk, you'll have to get into something more comfortable. Fair is fair, right?"Anna makes an exaggerated frown, "You make a well reasoned argument Catherine. I'll take that under consideration. Something tells me we'll be talking a lot more in the coming days, so I aim to please." At this, Anna lies back on the bed relaxed with one hand behind her head, still holding the orb in front of her. She looks rather charming like that too. She eyes me another moment, "Or we could square up now if you prefer?" I'm fascinated by this incredible sphere that I'm holding, but admit that I'm more than a little intrigued by the girl at the other end of this connection too."I'm glad you have an open mind about it," I shoot Anna a smile, and she grins back at me.
