"But I hardly know you Anna," I protest."That wasn't the question," Anna crosses her arms, she's waiting for me to say it."Sure, you're very beautiful if that's what you mean," I cast my eyes downward, I'm trying to hide the fact that my cheeks are beginning to glow."See, that wasn't so hard now was it," she leans back against the desk, a casual look of victory. She wears it easily, I get the sense that she's enjoying my discomfort. "Do you see the point I'm trying to make?""Honestly, I'm not sure that I do.""Well, look at you, sitting there, face all red," Anna quips. "Why is that? Why are you embarrassed about the truth or expressing how you feel? I'm certainly not. I don't mind stating that I find you rather attractive looking Catherine. There's no shame in that, why would there be? That's what I mean about being open. We don't know each other yet, but you'll find that I don't have reservations stating what's on my mind. I've had a lot of years to pretend, and I'm over that now. Life is too short. Getting comfortable with how I feel and being willing to express that, well that's a wonderful way for me to find what I'm looking for. I believe being more open allows love to find you too."This discussion is getting kinda personal for me. Especially with someone I've just met, "Can we change the subject please?""Sure luv," Anna says, a coy smile crossing her lips, "What else do you wanna talk about?"
