As Wakasa walked along the side walk from work he saw something unusual. On the beach was a person with their lower body complicity tangled in a fishing net. Jogging over to the person what he saw was a boy with black hair. He guessed that he was around 17. The boy was struggling violently with the net.Wakasa crouched net to the boy, startling him, and asked cheerfully, "Do you need some help?"
The boy turned and looked up at him and grunted a no."Really?" Wakasa watched as the boy continued to struggle in the net, "Because to me it seems the you do need some help.."
The black haired boy finally gave in and let Wakasa help.While working on the net Wakasa asked, "So what's you name? I'm Wakasa by the way."
"Tatsumi..." Was all he got go from the raven haired boy.
After sitting in silence for a few more minutes Wakasa wasn't getting any where with the net. 'I need like a knife or something....' Wakasa thought. Picking up Tatsumi bridle style, and the net with him, he started walking back to his house."H-hey! What are you doing?!" A startled Tatsumi said."Well, the net isn't coming off so we're going to my house to get something to cut it." Wakasa replied with a bright smile. When they had almost reached Wakasa's home; Wakasa noticed that Tatsumi's breath started to get heavier. "Hey, Tatsumi are you okay?" Wakasa asked worriedly."Water," was the raspy reply.Wakasa quickened his pace to reach the house. As soon as he got into the house he headed to the bathroom and put Tatsumi in the bathtub while filling it with water. Tatsumi's breathing got better as soon as the water got on him. Wakasa then walked to the kitchen to grab a scissors and a knife(in case the scissors didn't work). The was up to Tatsumi's chest now when he got back. Turing off the water he started to work at the net. When about half the net was gone he started on to see something dark blue. 'A fish maybe?' he thought. Cutting away a few more parts of the net he pulled causing him to fall backwards. Dropping the rest of the net he walked back over to Tatsumi, and saw something that made him faint.

After Wasaka had fainted Tatsumi was unsure on what to do. He had never interacted with a human before; he had only ever watched from far away as they passed by in large boats. His parents had always warned him about them. How they would hurt him if they found their kind, but Wakasa had helped him. So that means not all humans a bad right? Tatsumi look over the edge of the tub at the human. The blonde was laying on the ground in what looked very uncomfortable position.Tatsumi thought for a moment before deciding to wake Wasaka. Cupping his hands he filled them with water and threw it on Wasaka's face.Sputtering and coughing Wasaka got out, "What was that for!""You looked uncomfortable," Tatsumi stated and cocked his head.Wasaka sighed and looked at the merman. The merman's tail, which was now free from the net, was royal blue where human met fish but gradually went dark the farther down the tail until in was almost black. The other thing that was unnatural about the merman was his eyes. They were a bright yellow color, sure Wasaka had seen color contacts but he was pretty they wouldn't have that in the ocean.A thought came to Wasaka, "Hey Tatsumi, you hungry?""Ah, Not reall-" Tatsumi stomach growled, "I guess a little," he blushed and looked at the wall."Great! I'll be back in a bit, don't make a mess okay?" Wasaka smiled at the merman.Tatsumi while waiting for Wasaka to come back had nothing to entertain himself with. Looking around the bathroom he saw a magazine but it was a across the room. Think for a moment Tatsumi decided that he would be able to get it."Tatsumi, I brought fo-," Wasaka bursted through the door and almost tripped over the out of water merman."Wasaka!" Tasumi said startled by the blonde's entrance.Setting the food down on a counter Wasaka knelt by Tatsumi, "What are you doing out of the tub?!"Embarrassed, Tatsumi replied, "I got bored and saw the magazine so I thought I could get to it.""I guess that's fine," Wasaka paused, " Well, we better get you back in the tub."Picking up the merman was harder then he thought it was going to be, first of all he was heavy, and second Tatsumi was slippery. Even though it was a short distance Tatsumi still had to wrap his arms around Wasaka's neck so he didn't fall. After putting the raven haired in the tub gently, Wasaka grab the food he place on the counter."Here try this," Wasaka set a tray in front of Tatsumi. On the tray was an omelet with bacon on the side. Tatsumi poked at the food tentatively before taking a bit. The merman's face lit up, and the rest was gone in seconds."That was good! More?" Tatsumi looked so happy that Wasaka couldn't no even if he wanted to."Sure! Another omelet coming right up!

So far Tatsumi had lived with Wasaka for about a 2 weeks and everything was going smoothly. Wasaka so far had learned that merman love meat and warm water. When Tatsumi figured out that he could have hot water all the time he was thrilled. After a week to Tatsumi continually added hot water Wasaka decided to confront the merman."So your saying that I shouldn't added hot water in all time?" For a moment Tatsumi remind Wasaka of a dog, a dog with a fish tail perhaps but still a dog. "Tatsumi, if you don't like cold water how did you live in the winter?" Wasaka asked."I would have to work really hard to keep warm," he did a few, quick strokes with he tail to prove his point; only for the water to drench Wasaka.The blonde pulled at his shirt and sighed, "Well I need to take a bath anyway, so I might as well do it now when I'm wet."Wasaka found a towel, peeled of his soaked clothes, and climbed into the bathtub to join the merman. Tatsumi bent his tail so Wasaka could fit, even then it was still a bit cramped for the blonde."Tatsumi it would be nice if you stop hitting with your tail," Wasaka said gently.The merman admittedly moved the tail as far way as possible, which was very difficult and only resulted in the raven haired splashing the blonde. Tatsumi panicking at this, moved toward Wasaka only to hit him in the face with his tail fin."Ah! Sorry!" Tatsumi said in a panicked voice.Wasaka sighed and replied in a calming voice, "It's fine."They sat in silence for a few minutes before Tatsumi said, "What are you going to do about that black eye?"

"Okay you have to be really quiet today, Tasumi," the blonde told the merman."Huh? Why is that?" The merman asked."One of my friends is coming over, and I don't know how they would react to a merman living in my bathtub," Wakasa replied, "So can you do that for me?"Tasumi nodded and his eye shone with determination, this friend of Wasaka would even know he was there. There was a knock on the front door. Wasaka got up from the bathroom floor and walked to the front door.The knocking continued until Wakasa, "Takasu, I'm coming!"Wasaka opened the door to revel his friend Takasu. The blonde smiled and let Takasu inside."So Takasu," Wakasa said when they were sitting at the table, "What brings you here? You never gave a reason why you were stopping by.""What can't I visit a friend?" Takasu questioned."That's rarely the only reason you come to visit me," Wakasa sighed."I'm telling you that's only reason!" Wakasa rolled his eyes at this.Takasu was about to say something more before pausing. He looked at the blonde and asked, "What is that fish smell?"The blonde froze, "What smell?""Here, I'm going to see if I can find were it's coming from," Takasu stood up and started searching for the smell.Wakasa started to fret. Takasu checked each room carefully and was slowly making to way to the bathroom. The blonde knew if he tried to stop Takasu, that the red head would become even more determined to find out where the smell was coming from.The blonde was brought from his inner thoughts when Takasu said, "Hey, Wasaka I think it's coming from the bathroom."The merman had been entertaining himself with a rubber duck that Wasaka had found when the door open. Tasumi turned expecting to see Wakasa but found someone else instead. The person, who Tasumi assumed was the friend Wakasa talked about, had red hair that seemed to be held back by a green cloth. The two stared at each other, one wondering who the person in the bath was; while the other was wondering were the blonde was at.Takasu turned to the blonde who was now behind him and asked confused, "Why is there so random guy in your bathtub?"There was a splashing sound which cause Takasu to turn around to see another thing. A dark blue fish tail was hanging out of the bathtub now. Takasu in even more confusion looked between the merman in the bath and at his blonde friend."Wha-a, he has-s a-a t-ta," Takasu stuttered out in shock. "Takasu sit down before you faint, and I'll explain," Wakasa said.--after Takasu goes home--"After you explained he took it really well," stated Tatsumi."Ya, I'm surprised."Tatsumi leaned over the edge of the tub to get closer to Wakasa and said, "I want to meet more of your friends.""I don't know, Tatsumi," Wakasa rubbed the back of his head."Please?" Tatsumi said eyes shining."Maybe," was the reply and Tatsumi smiled at that.
