draal met a golden girl.before all that, though, he had a different life. he’s the older brother of two siblings. a brother and a sister. his sister is only a year younger than him, while his brother is seven years younger. bram and mari.his biological mom wasn’t the best. when she was sober she did her best to make up for it. but when she wasn’t, she was violent. eventually they basically had to escape the house with their dad.their dad married another woman. the nicest woman ever. she owned a cafe. it wasn’t very popular, though, and she struggled to keep it open. but draal promised her he’d work for the knights along with bram to get her the money she needed.as for mari? she died to an illness she had been battling for the past year shortly after bram and draal set sail for the knights.after training, he was told to check the woods, as citizens had heard mysterious noises.as he entered, he stepped on a twig, snapping it. he heard a high gasp and looked up.a young girl, looking the same age as him. she looked like a knight but her uniform was different. her hair was bright red and long.“hey!” he shouted. and that set her off running.that was only the start of meeting his golden girl.
