Connor was just chilling on his bed when he got a notification on his phone, it was a message by Evan.
evan
I'm sorry, it's not your fault
After reading the message his heartbeat suddenly sped up. Evan had a past with suicide. Connor immediately started spam-texting his boyfriend but he received no answer. It was 4 AM and Evan's mom wasn't home, as always. Fuck. He started running towards his car keys and rushed to the door, heading towards the other's house. "Please don't do anything bad, I need you." He thought.
When he got there he opened his door, Evan had given him a spare key, and started screaming his name and searching for him around the house.
He got to his room's door and he started banging on it. "Evan? Evan, open up! Evan, are you okay? Please answer!"
When he realised he was not going to answer, he decided to knock down the door, but as he finally succedes he sees the worst. Evan, unconscious with an empty pills bottle in his hand. This was all Connor's fault, he dragged him into this shit. He started dialing 911 onto his phone while trying to make the boy throw up.
"911, what's your emergency?" A lady over the phone asks. "My boyfriend killed himself" He answered, not even caring about being in the closet anymore. "I'm sorry, what's your name?" She said. "Connor Murphy, his name is Evan Hansen, please fucking send someone!". "Okay, Connor, I'm going to need you to stay calm, the paramedics are on their way. Did your boyfriend harm himself?" "He- He swallowed some pills, too many.. too many!" He cried out. "What kind of pills?" She asks, calmly. "I have no fucking idea, okay? But it's fucking bad and he's unconscious!" He yelled. "Connor, I'm going to need you to calm down and check if he has a pulse." The boy did nothing to calm himself down, the love of his life was unresponsive, he went to check his heartbeat and sighs with relief. "His heart's beating". He said, now hearing the sirens. "They arrived. Thank you so much" He said, not even caring to be rude anymore. His boy is going to be okay, he has to.
