𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓃𝑔𝒷𝒾𝓃he never had questioned his sexuality - he hadn't had any reason to. he knew he was attracted to girls since he was young. and he'd had crushes on them too - no stranger to the butterflies when he saw a pretty girl, or when he had his first kiss, the fireworks seeming to burst forth from just barely the brush of their lips.but maybe- when he was at the café- besides the pretty girl who he saw sitting at the table- his eyes lingered for a moment too long on the handsome heartthrob at the counter who the girls seemed to gush over all the time. he felt that unmistakable pull- that pang in his heart when their eyes met for a fraction of a millisecond-he couldn't be. he'd liked girls-yet he felt drawn in by this mysterious stranger- said stranger's eyes glimmering with a hint of amusement now that he'd been caught staring. he felt his cheeks flush involuntarily, gaze immediately dropping to his hands, cracking his knuckles- a nervous habit.this was all wrong. he was supposed to be the one who initiated, the one who teased, the one who caused the other to blush. not the other way around.the boy in question looked back- was he being delusional? or was he daring him to approach him? his expression had switched from a teasing smirk to a kinder smile- hair parted in the middle and combed neatly to both sides, pretty doe eyes meeting his own.he found himself getting closer and closer to said boy until he realized in horror that this wasn't an outlandish dream, on the contrary, it was his own working legs that carried him there, and now he was in front of him - he was even more gorgeous up close - he could see the dusting of freckles under his eyes - and his eyes were a bewitching hazel color - he was staring again.snap out of it, he told himself."are you here to order or should I not interrupt your staring session?" the other teased, his smile never seeming to dampen in the least."n-no, I'm here to order," he fumbled with his fingers, reading the barista's name tag,".......felix?""okay, what would you like, mister....?"".....changbin, I'll have an iced latte, please."felix pouted for a moment (changbin reprimanded himself for finding that so adorable), evidently disappointed he couldn't tease changbin further, but nodded nonetheless, and proceeded to ask, "anything else?"he shook his head no, and he paid the bill and was going to leave and continue with his day like nothing ever happened, but a twinkle in felix's eyes made him pause for a moment."I'm sorry if I went a bit overboard with the teasing. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable or anything it's just that...." his voice trailed off, cheeks dusting with a blush for the first time that evening, "you're hot, and you looked back when I looked at you, and I probably read this wrong and you're probably not even into guys and-""whoa, calm down," he said, and pointedly ignored the side eye the other shoots at him."a few seconds ago, I would have been the one telling you that," the other snickered, momentarily distracted."well...as for your question of me being into guys? I'm new to this side of things but I do know I'm into you," he blurted in a sudden burst of confidence."are you really? I don't wanna be another straight boy's experiment, you know," his voice sounded sad, contrasting the defensive tone he'd originally aimed to convey."we could first just....get to know each other. as friends. and then see where it goes from there," changbin suggested, and that drew a smile to felix's face."I'd really like that," he grinned, "so, let's hang out after my shift ends?""sounds good to me," changbin nodded enthusiastically.and yet again, he felt the familiar flower of romance blossom somewhere within him. he hoped that however it started- or however it ended- they'd look back and treasure this moment, and that they'd stay friends- or lovers, for a long, long time.
