1- Hobie Brown.
-he LOVES to talk about music when he’s not fighting crime or defacing government property. It’s his favorite thing, and as soon as someone mentions one of his favorite artists or something related, he drops what he’s doing to ramble. most of spider society is okay with it, but sometimes miguel gets a little irritated.
-he’s *always* doing something with his hands. he can’t seem to sit still, he’s always tapping his fingers. he taps his fingers on his knee during meetings to the rhythm of his current favorite song. when the rest of spider society start to stare at him, he just mutters out a “sorry..” and tries not to do it (often failing).
-he pretends not to care about his appearance, but in reality he does care a little bit. he loves to do hair care and make his own pins and patches. he makes sure his outfits are the perfect mix of punk and presentable. his favorite thing to do to relax is listen to music and ironing patches onto his clothes. he also gets very excited when people compliment his appearance, but he masks it.2- Miles Morales.
-miles still struggles with some aspects of his powers. when he gets anxious or angry, he turns invisible or convulses with electricity. this makes it hard for his colleagues to help him, but especially miguel. miguel can be threatening, but he sees miles as a son in a way. miguel wants nothing more than to comfort him, but since his suit is a hologram it makes it difficult to get near him.
-luckily for him, big brother hobie has been teaching miles some coping mechanisms! miles has learned to redirect his anxieties into his drawings, which he shares with hobie on occasion. hobie usually responds with a, “good job mate!” and ruffles miles’ hair.
-miles has learned that he can make what he calls “web murals”. this is basically something he does for fun, shooting webs at a wall and creating a work of art. his favorite thing to make with his webs is pictures of him and his friends, it’s a huge stress reliever.
