Kindaichi lies on the floor, his eyes wide, gazing up at Kageyama, whose hands are at the sides of Kindaichi’s head, causing him to tremble. Kindaichi turns his head slightly, tears trickling down his cheek. He winces in pain as he shifts to meet Kageyama’s gaze. Kageyama stares back with bloodshot eyes. Kindaichi raises a trembling hand to his face and sees it stained with blood. Kageyama had slashed his face with a knife, and Kindaichi cries silently."One last kiss," Kageyama whispered, leaning closer to Kindaichi, his breath warm against his ear. "I love you like an alcoholic," he confessed, slowly inching the knife toward Kindaichi's neck. In response, Kindaichi's trembling hand found its place on Kageyama's face, tears streaming down. "One last kiss... I love you like a statuette," Kindaichi whispered through his sobs.Kageyama's voice trembled, his words slurring slightly, "One last kiss... I need you like I need a broken leg." With unsteady hands, he plunged the knife into kindaichi’s throat Kindaichi choked on his own blood, gasping for air as his body convulsed. Kageyama, still under the influence, gently placed him back on the floor, his unfocused eyes fixed on Kindaichi's pale face. Leaning down, he pressed a wavering kiss against his lips, feeling the weight of his choices. He then lay down beside Kindaichi's lifeless body, holding him tightly, his mind clouded with substances.
