Emma awoke with a quiet groan, finding herself atop a warm bed with a crackling fireplace before her. Tall candles flickered about the otherwise-dark room, and she was puzzled to find a table adorned with various meats, fruits and pastries. The combined aromas made her mouth water and her stomach rumble. She jumped when she heard a familiar chuckle and turned, alarmed, to find the Evil Queen standing nearby. Suddenly, everything came flooding back. She’d been getting the house ready for Christmas when she heard a knock at the door. She opened it without hesitation, believing it to be Henry as he wished to help her decorate the tree. Unfortunately, she instead found herself face to face with the Queen. She could remember nothing after the Queen blew a handful of shimmering dust in her face, rendering her unconscious. Now she was here, wherever ‘here’ was. She frowned at the Queen, clenching her teeth in anger. “Let me go,” she demanded, “I won’t be your prisoner.”“Of course not.” The Queen bore a soft smile, speaking gently as she approached. “You’re my guest, Savior.”Emma’s frown became one of confusion. “Guest?”There was a gleam of hope in the Queen’s eyes as she gestured to the table. “Just in time for the Yuletide feast.”Emma slowly turned her head to look at the table once more. With reluctance, she met the Queen’s gaze. “You— You want me to have dinner with you?”“Dinner is an understatement,” the Queen replied with another chuckle. Her expression became almost somber as she peered deep into Emma’s eyes. “We shall feast together, Miss Swan,” she murmured, “and indulge in the finest mead.” Her voice grew even softer. “And then….”Emma swallowed. “And then what?” she asked with uncertainty.“And then you may return to your bastardized jubilation.”Emma arched an eyebrow. “You mean Christmas?”The Queen gave a quiet scoff and turned away. “It is a corruption and nothing more,” she said bitterly, “What you see before you, Savior, is the true celebration of Yule in all its glory.” She faced Emma once more, moving to cup the stunned woman’s face in her hands. “Stay with me,” she whispered. Her eyes glistened with unshed tears. “Please.”Emma was deeply conflicted as she stared into the Queen’s eyes. “Fine,” she said, “but only for a little while.”As she sat across the table from the Queen, Emma found the food to be some of the best she’d ever had. It should have come as no surprise, given that the brunette was still one half of Regina. Even so, the various dishes were to die for. She could only hope they weren’t laced with poison. Despite her uncertainty, she continued to wolf it down until she simply couldn’t anymore.“You must try the mead,” the Queen murmured, offering her a drinking horn.Emma accepted it with mild reluctance, sipping slowly as she stared into the Queen’s eyes. A soft hum of appreciation escaped her, though it sounded much more like a moan. She averted her gaze when she saw a hint of a smile pull at the brunette’s painted lips. She continued to drink until the horn was empty, and when given the chance, she drank a bit more. The Queen was touched to see just how much Emma enjoyed her cooking, which she’d spent the entire day slaving over. She never once used her powers, for in her eyes, cooking was magic in and of itself. Seeing the Savior indulge in the food left a fluttering warmth in her chest that she simply couldn’t ignore. She bore a smile that felt equal-parts hopeful and solemn, for Emma would soon leave, and she would be alone once again. The two of them sat in comfortable silence until Emma let out a heavy sigh, placing her hands upon her full stomach. “Well,” she said at last, “I guess I should be going. I’m sure everyone’s worried about me.” She noticed the Queen’s expression grow somber and was overcome with concern. “Your Majesty?”A halfhearted chuckle escaped the Queen as she shook her head. “You don’t need to address me that way, Savior,” she said softly. She sighed. “Go and be with them, if you wish. I won’t stop you.”Emma slowly stood up. “Alright,” she said, feeling conflicted, “Well, uh, goodnight.”The Queen offered a faint smile. “Goodnight, Miss Swan.”Emma started to lift her hand, intent on transporting herself back home with magic, but something stopped her. She looked at the Queen with a myriad of emotions. The brunette was staring down at the table with a look of melancholy.“Regina?” she whispered. The Queen blinked, slowly raising her head to look at Emma with surprise. A single tear slipped down her cheek. “Yes, Emma?” she murmured.Emma tentatively moved closer. “It’s not Christmas just yet.” She bit her lip, awkwardly scratching her head. “I guess what I’m trying to say is,” she hesitated, “I can stay a while longer.”The Queen was overjoyed. She poured more mead for the both of them, and they drank together in merriment. At some point, the pair found themselves in front of the fireplace. Everything seemed hazy. Neither could be sure who initiated it, but their lips met in a light kiss that slowly grew deeper until they were clinging to each other in desperation.“Regina,” Emma breathed, panting. Her heart skipped a beat when the Queen’s arms snaked around her waist to hold her close.“Yes, Emma?” rasped the Queen.Emma reveled in the sound of her name on the brunette’s lips. “Why all this now? What happened to wanting to kill me?”A soft sigh escaped the Queen. “I don’t want to kill you,” she confessed.Emma’s eyes widened at the familiarity. “That time in the vault. That was you talking, wasn’t it?”The Queen smiled faintly, offering a small nod. Her lips brushed against the shell of Emma’s ear, causing the younger woman to shudder involuntarily. Again, she chuckled. “Be one with me, Em-ma,” she husked.Emma’s breath was caught in her throat. “You mean…?”“Yes,” the Queen breathed. She kissed the space behind Emma’s ear and was delighted when the blonde shuddered against her. “I have wanted you since the moment I laid eyes on you,” she confessed, “but I was too afraid to acknowledge those feelings. I was afraid that if I let you in, I would lose you— just like I lost Daniel.”Emma stared at the Queen with concern. “I’m not going anywhere,” she said, “At least, not yet.” She saw a glimmer of disappointment in the brunette’s eyes. “But when I do, I promise I won’t be far.”A smile pulled at the Queen’s lips as she pressed her forehead to Emma’s, peering deep into sea-green eyes. “May the gods smile upon you as I do,” she murmured. They kissed once more.Pulling at each other’s clothes, they soon found themselves tumbling into bed together. Emma’s gasps and moans filled the room as the Queen’s fingers pumped and curled within her, driving her towards a powerful orgasm which left her knees feeling like jelly. The Queen cupped Emma’s cheek gently as her other hand continued to pleasure the blonde. She kissed the Savior with intense passion, cherishing each and every moan. She began rubbing tight circles into Emma’s clit with her thumb, and the cry that escaped those gasping lips was music to her ears. She reveled in the wet warmth that spilled onto her fingers.Emma was just beginning to come down from her sensual high when the Queen’s fingers were swiftly replaced with a skillful tongue, one which began to lavish her clit with merciless attention. She cried out in pure bliss and tangled her fingers in the Queen’s swarthy hair. She rocked against the brunette’s face uncontrollably and her eyes became clouded with lust.“Regina!” she gasped. The Queen moaned into Emma’s dripping pussy, lapping at the sweet moisture as her hands slipped beneath those creamy, trembling thighs. She pressed her nose into Emma’s clit momentarily, merely intent on teasing the blonde beauty. Instead, she was rewarded with a sudden burst of wet warmth on her lips and chin. Her eyes grew even darker as lust surged through her.“Gods above,” she groaned. She raised her head and found Emma panting heavily, trembling and twitching with desire. She moved to lie next to the Savior and they shared a deep kiss which left Emma moaning softly at the taste of her own essence.“Fuck,” Emma breathed. The Queen chuckled. “Indeed.” She gently caressed Emma’s breast. “Do you wish to continue? The choice is yours, my dear.”Emma hesitated. “Just,” she paused, “hold me?” She looked into the Queen’s eyes with uncertainty.“Of course, dear,” murmured the Queen. She pulled Emma into a spooning position, and the two lied together in comfortable silence before the crackling fireplace.Eventually, it was Emma who broke the silence.“You know,” she said with a smile, “you certainly know how to make the Yuletide gay.”They shared in heartfelt laughter.
