The modelling industry is filled with eye candy, people whose looks rival that of park hyung-seok or the ever so famous DG, recently thought, trough his doubtful methods of success there has been a recent growth on the popularity of Yoo Hobin.
Stories online say he started his modelling career due to financial difficulty, despite most not believing that is the case, his popularity is undeniable, be it through his newtube channel or recent contract signing with a good modelling company, giving him more gigs and jobs.
His popularity recently has rivalled that of popular model Yeo Rumi.
Despite appealing to different groups of people, of course. According to news outlets these two have made collaborations even before the success of Hobin, some have speculated they are classmates, since they are both still in high school, or even past lovers, thought none has been confirmed by either or their agency.
Hobin who was laying down on the floor put down his, newly bought, phone besides him, on the floor of his newly bought house. He was shocked.
It has been only a few months since he started modelling, he didnt expect to become this famous, in this time spam he had become acquainted with quite a few famous people, like the famous newtuber whose channel name is Snapper, Jihyeok Woo. Famous musicians Taehoon Seong and Choi Bomi. The idol duo gaeul and gyeol and even a few fighters.
He was in pure shock, just a few months he would not have expected to be where he is now. Hell his looks are as average as it gets, or at least he thought so, his popularity proving otherwise.
Even now he still has absolutely no clue of what he is doing, he got into modelling for extra money to pay for his mom’s hospital bills. Now he is internet famous for apparently, being hot and cute at the same time, he wonders why people think he is either of those things but he will not question the money coming into his bank account.
He’s grateful for it really, but this position is one of he didn’t imagine in a million years. His thoughts stopped
as his phone started ringing, it was a call from snapper, he hesitated before picking up, from his previous quick interaction with him through his agency wasnt the best interaction he’s had. Hesitantly still he picked up the call, quickly saying “morning evening afternoon aay whatchu need quickly and dont waste my time bi- sprry force of habit, so what do you need” its pretty embarrasing but its something he got used to after way to many people calling him to pay bills.”Ok Hobin don’t freak out but apparently, not saying its confirmed or anything but many people are saying that,,,” he paused trying to say his next words more carefully” Taehoon Seong, yk that guy you said you really wanted to meet that you said in the livestream well some people are saying that-“ he stopped again, by then hobin had already walked to the balcony feeling the cold breeze against his face, it was pretty cold today huh “Istg Snapper just say it already or im cancelling the partnership” he could hear snapper audibly gasp at his words” FIRST OF ALL RUDE second of all i was just gonna say that taehoon’s stans are saying he wrote a love song for you with Gaeul and Gyeol” The call went silent, Hobin almost dropped his phone off the balcony in shock. “What” he was in awe, he didnt know if he was afraid or excited ? He did say he wanted to meet that guy but he didnt outright say he had a crush on him,,, sure he did have teo celebrity crushes : Taehoon Seong and Choi Bomi. his mind going blank from the current most popular singer and song writer in Korea confessing to him. “Oh but dont forget that nothing is confirmed, i was pretty sure he was straight or something, sooooo that partnership still up ?” Snapper said in an attempt to lighten the mood from Hobin’s overthinking “Yea Yea i’ll- i’ll go now” Hobin hung up abruptly, instantly running back to his living room from the balcony, running to the sofa he opened newtube just to see the oh so famous song as the first thing that popped up, and damn was it alredy popular 6M views ? Damn those three were a good combination, the girl group-duo was already pretty popular but not nearly as popular as Taehoon, which is pretty surprising considering their audiences, BACK TO THE IMPORTANT THING! He got lost in his thoughts again as the music went on, pausing after a particular description “ Not too tall, cute face, pretty hair and sexy body” not exactly a specific description, maybe people were just overreacting ? After liking the video he went to the comments to see if anyone was talking about “it” coming across a comment specifying on that topic, and wow it was a hella long comment, at first he was like I ain’t reading Allat but theeeeen he heard another part of the song “ he’s a model I’m a musician we’d be the perfect couple for the spotlight” his face flared up red at the thought of being a couple with Taehoon, instantly clinching read more on the comment to read about their theories.
He didn’t really expect it but they are all basically the same, saying something along the lines of since neither Gyeol or Gaeul had part in writing the lyrics and are not allowed to date by their agency the only Taehoon could be the person ‘in love’, saying also that there might be some subtle hints to it being Hobin except the obvious he had already heard. This was all just kind of unbelievable, his agency still hadn’t contacted him so they’ll probably brush it off, after all they have some stuff going on with Gaeul, Snapper and him, which reminded him that he should be sleeping right about now because they just so happen to have their first live together tomorrow.

It was a bit spontaneous he had no clue who Hobin was till a few weeks ago, his producer was pressing him to release a new song, he wasnt really in the mood to write anything till in a gaming stream the chat asked him if he was gonna collab with the new up and coming model. The interaction with chat was kinda funny

Well that was one week ago and now he’s FUCKED his producer is calling him daily, trying to contact Hobin’s agency to no avail, and weeping about how he shouldn’t have written such personal lyrics. Taehoon tried ignoring for the most part but then he also said he couldn’t stream for some time which would make his fangirls go absolutely insane, even he is scared of them some times. Ah really how are they gonna react finding out he made a love song for Hobin ? Can that guy even defend himself ? He doesn’t look too strong,,, meeehhh it’s gonna be fine,,, probably.
He got a lil distracted after that with going to the bathroom, checking to see if his video had reached 1 M views yet, cringe at himself for making said video and then log on crystal tv to see if there were any streams.

For research purposes he clicked on the stream, hoping to not be disappointed by just seeing snapper’s face stuffing his face with a bunch of food.
And happily for him he wasn’t disappointed,
snapper and Hobin were playing some game which he didn’t pay much attention to, focusing on the boy by his side looking not very anxious or interested in the current situation, looking at what he imagined were the chat donations.
So he had an idea, as he sat down on the couch he opened the link to donate to snapper, which was painful for him to do as he was in fact a hater, but anything to see Hobin’s reaction to this. He inputted a decent amount of money around 5600 won, nearly the minimum allowed for the message to show up for the streamer, (not) thinking hard about what to write he decided on ‘ Sup loser how’d you like the donation money ?’ Waiting for it to go through and the returning to the stream took a little longer than he would like, getting back just in time to see Hobin react to said message, thankfully in crystal tv there are verified accounts with checkmarks so that well known streamers can’t get used as some kind of catfish.
And as for Hobin’s reaction it went something along the lines of “ Hey snapper is this real ? Is that Taehoon guy such a cheap one ?” Prompting both Snapper and Taehoon to look wide eyed for different reason, Snapper in shock seeing THE Taehoon Seong donating to him and Taehoon absolutely pissed Hobin called him cheap, so ofc he angeily sent a message in the chat

To which everyone in chat was absolutely shocked, confused and flabbergasted, prompting Hobin to read it and say “fair enough i probably wouldn’t too.”
This short asf interaction made both their brains short circuit so Hobin shut up for the rest of the stream and Taehoon left to cringe at himself for the stuff he just did.
