Rain poured from the roof of the simulated city known as Ground Whiskey, given the title of The Citywide Arena. In the middle of a street were two figures among a sea of fire and bodies. One leaning up against the side of an overturned car and the other figure standing over him while holding a pistol in his hand.“Well, hero,” the figure said through the automated voice in his gas mask as he raised his pistol to the head of the fallen hero. “I guess this is game over, we win.”With the sound of a gunshot a loud buzz was heard throughout the entire city and an automated female voice shouted “The Hero versus Villain city exam has now ended. One month and one week earlier, UA teachers lounge.Inside the teachers lounge of UA academy a meeting was being held between nine figures. “You’re telling me that you want to bring back that exam!”A man with long disheveled black hair and heavy eye bags shouted at a small white furred dog mouse bear that had a scar over his right eye. These were the homeroom teacher for Hero Class 1-A, Shouta Aizawa otherwise known as the Pro Hero Eraserhead and the Principal of UA, Nedzu otherwise known as the Pro Hero Mr. Principal.“Now now Aizawa” the small Principal of unknown mammalian species said calmly while taking a sip of tea from his ever present teacup “I’m well aware that you have some bad memories after you took the same exam, but with the events that happened at the USJ, Hosu, the Wild Wild Pussycats Training Camp, and Kamino Ward the students need to be prepared for anything”.“And you’re telling us that the best way for them to be prepared is for them to be pitted against each other in the Hero Versus Villains exam!” One of the other teachers, Hizashi Yamada, otherwise known as Present Mic, shouted as he stood from his seat and slammed his hands against the desk while glaring at the Principal. Furious with the principal for even considering that idea.“Surely we could figure out a different exam for them to partake in” Nemuri Kayama, also known as the Pro Hero Midnight said while rubbing both Shouta and Hizashis’ shoulders while giving the principal a glare only to receive a shake of the head from said principal“While I do understand all of your dislike for this particular exam, especially with what happened to your late friend and classmate shortly after you took the same exam. I feel that this exam is needed to help our students grow to be better heroes in the future as well as let some of their buried talents rise to the surface.” Nezu then turned to Aizawa with a small smile “After all, wasn’t it that exam that led you into wanting to become an Underground Hero in the first place”.With a sigh and a glare to the principal all three teachers sat back down in their respective seats. “I still don't like this idea” all of the teachers thought, Hizashi mumbling it out loud, which the principal heard.“Oh please be rest assured that our Guidance Counselor Hound Dog will be having weekly sessions with all students leading up to the exam as well as mandatory therapy sessions after the exam until he thinks they are well enough to go out for work studies”The small principal said while turning his chair to look at a large man that looked like a humanoid dog who was growling and chewing on a rope to calm himself. This was Ryo Inui, the Pro Hero Hound Dog and UA’s Guidance Counselor.“Grrrr, while I don’t agree with doing this exam” The large man growled out before devolving into barks before putting the rope back in his mouth. “I do agree that the students can grow from taking this exam.”“So if we are doing this, how are we going to decide on who will be team leaders, are we going to pick at random or are we going to decide who the leaders are ourselves?” A large man with short white silver hair and a large under bite said gruffly with crossed arms. This was the class 1-B homeroom teacher Sekijiro Kan, otherwise known as Vlad King.“Well Vlad, I was planning on having us discuss who would be the leaders but also add in a second in command for both sides.” Nedzu said while putting down his teacup and giving the table a wide grin“Oh, and why would we be doing that?” A very skinny man with blond spiky hair asked before coughing into a rag. This was Toshinori Yagi, former number one hero and Symbol of Peace who took a job at UA to try and find a successor that he could pass his quirk, One for All onto.“Oh Yagi, I was planning on having the leaders of the teams having to choose a second in command for if the leader of the team were to be captured”. Nedzu said while cackling. “Is this exam going to be only for the Hero course or will the other courses be involved as well?” A ginger haired man wearing an excavator claw on his head asked while looking over some blueprints. This was Higari Maijima, the Pro Hero Power Loader and head of the UA support course.“While they are not going to be in the exam from the start, the leaders of each team can recruit members from other courses to work with them.” Nedzu explained before turning to Shouta “Furthermore if anyone decides to recruit your protege Shinso this will count as his final test to be transferred into the hero course early. With a small huff and smirk Aizawa nodded “Alright then Rat, who do you have in mind for the team leaders''. With a large grin and cackling laughter Nedzu proceeded to tell the teachers in the room who he planned to make the leaders of the hero team, causing most to nod in agreement. However his choice for the villain team caused the teachers to raise their eyebrows in confusion and concern. One week later, UA Assembly HallAfter Homeroom all first year hero students were brought to the Assembly Hall for an announcement. One of these students was Izuku Midoriya, also known as the hero in training Deku and the successor to All Might and the new holder of One for All. Before inheriting the Symbol of Peaces quirk he was a normal child with no powers of his own, this however caused him to be bullied and discriminated against due to lacking something that eighty percent of the population had. This led him to be very shy and quiet, constantly fearing when he would be attacked by his former classmates. However after entering into UA he started to gain friends, as well as confidence. As Midoriya sat down in one of the seats he was surrounded with his group of friends, dubbed the Deku Squad by fellow classmates this grouped, Izuku Midoriya, Ochako Uraraka, Tenya Iida, Tsuyu Asui, Shoto Todoroki, and the newest member Momo Yaoyorozu. After everyone sat down the lights all went off except for the lights pointed at the stage. After a few seconds Nedzu pops out from behind the podium on the stage causing the students to whisper to each other in confusion. “Hello Students of classes 1-A and 1-B, am I a dog, am I a mouse, could I possibly be a bear, well the only thing that is currently important is that I am the Principal of UA.” As Nedzu introduces himself Midoriya holds his tongue from shouting out that Nedzu is an albino arctic shrew.“Now I know you all must be confused about what this meeting is about. So allow me to explain, at the end of this meeting the UA hero vs villain exam will be underway.” This announcement immediately caused an uproar of questions and exclamations of disbelief. After allowing the students to air out their grievances, the Principal continues to speak. “I know this may sound ridiculous to all of you, but due to the recent events that happened to class 1-A both myself and the Hero Public Safety Commission thought that using the H. vs V. exam to test the students would be a good idea to help our students get into the mindset of a villain to better understand how they think.”With the press of a button the large screen behind the Principal turned on to reveal a screen with all 40 students in the hero course and two small boxes underneath the list that read Hero Team Leader and Villain Team Leader.“The rules for this game are quite simple” The Principal starts to explain.“This exam will take place over the span of one month, three weeks of prep followed by one week locked inside Ground Whiskey. The Leader for both teams will be chosen at random, after this assembly is over they will have three days to recruit students to join their cause. ““However unlike past years the leaders will have until tomorrow evening to find a second in command for their team to take control of the team if something were to happen to the leader. Teachers can not be used as recruits but they can be asked for help with training, however you will have to persuade them into helping you.”“In order to win this exercise the hero team will have to capture both villain leaders, defend all objectives that the villains will be tasked with dealing with, or make the villain team leave the city before 9:00 pm on the last day of the exam.”“For the villain team to win they must complete all objectives that are scattered throughout the whole city, kill all pro hero’s, or escape the city after 9:00 pm on the last day of the exam.”As Nedzu explains all the rules the students look at each other with concern and a slight bit of fear, except for Midoriya who was already thinking of plans for the hero team to beat the villain team as quickly as possible.“And now to determine who will play the Leader of the Hero team, the symbol of justice and protector of the peace”As Nedzu speaks a blue box flies around the screen, hovering over all of the students before starting to slow down.As the blue box stops the picture enlarges to reveal a tall young man wearing rectangular glasses and blue hair standing with stiff posture“And the Leader of the Hero team is Tenya Iida, the hero in training Engenium”As the students applause Tenya shoots up out of his seat and bows at a perfect ninety degree angle“And now for the leader of the villain team, the symbol of chaos and crime lord”As a red box starts to fly through the students Midoriya immediately starts to come up with plans for Iida and for ideas to help with quirks before being broken out of his thoughts by the sound of a gasp. Looking up, his eyes widened in fear. The red box had stopped on the picture of a green haired teen with freckles on his cheeks, standing nervously and giving a weak smile.“And the leader of the villain team is Izuku Midoriya, the hero in training Deku”Looking around only one word could describe the situation around him “Shit”After both leaders were determined Nedzu began to speak again.“Now Young Iida, Young Midoriya. When you get back to your rooms there will be a rule book inside your rooms. If you have any questions about the rules or the exam in general please don’t be afraid to ask me questions.”After that all of the students were let out of the auditorium, except for one…

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

As all of the first year hero students leave the UA Auditorium one student hadn’t left his seat yet, stuck in his own thoughts.Midoriya Izuku was sitting in his seat, his hands pressed to his forehead and his elbows on his knees as he thought to himself in a panic. He….. He was a villain, the student who always talked about being the next Symbol of Peace and Number One Hero was going to be the leader for a team of villains. What should he do, should he just refuse to take part, or should he purposely lose and let the hero team win. No…. he couldn’t do that, he can’t just take this as a failing grade. Maybe if he….Midoriya was suddenly ripped from his thoughts by a hand being laid on his shoulder. Looking up into the sunken blue eyes of his mentor showing concern and worry for the green haired boy.“Young Midoriya, I think that it would be wise if we had a chat.”As Toshinori finished speaking Midoriya nodded before slowly standing up and letting out a sigh as they both started walking out of the auditorium. What did All Might want to talk about, was he upset that his successor would have to be a villain? Did he do something wrong and was he being punished for it by being made into a villain? Was it….Midoriya was broken out of his thoughts again by the sound of a door opening. Looking up, Midoriya saw that All Might had brought him to the principal's office. Inside the room was Nedzu and Hound Dog, both sitting at a small table next to a window drinking tea.“I AM HERE, to explain what is happening, my boy”Toshinori said while ushering Midoriya into the room and closing the door behind them. After the door closed Midoriya slowly walked to one of the open seats, sitting down and looking at the ground. Before anyone cou;d say anything Midoriya quickly shot to his feet before bowing at a 90 degree angle“I am sorry for whatever it is that I have done that made you feel like I should be a villain!”He shouts from his bowed position keeping his eyes screwed shut and not looking up at any of the teachers in the office. As everyone looks at the bowing student Principal Nedzu jumps off of his seat and walks over and gently pats Midoriya’s head “You can raise your head Young Midoriya, you aren’t being punished at all.” Midoriya looks up to look into the principal's eyes. “But… why make me the villain team leader then”As MIdoriya asks his question Nedzu stands up and walks back over to his seat. “Everything will be explained in a moment Midoriya” Hound Dog spoke up from his seat as he looked over to the boy, giving him a reassuring smile.Midoriya slowly nods and sits back in his seat, picking up the tea cup the principal offered him and taking a sip from it. “So if I’m not in any kind of trouble, why am I being made the leader for the villain team?”“Well Midoriya, the reason you are being made the leader of the villain team is because I feel that your blind devotion to being a hero and the next All Might is holding back your potential to be the best hero you can be.”Nedzu explains as he puts down his teacup, leaning back in his seat and looking at the confused face of Midoriya.“Ever since you have started your enrollment here at UA you have slowly started to stop emulating All Might and began to create your own identity. With you being the villain team leader you will have to think outside the box and think like a villain. In this exam I want you to use your intellect and wits to help your fellow hero students get into the mindset to think like a villain so that they might be able to use how a villain thinks in the future so when they encounter real villains they will have a better chance to beat and detain them. Plus I am very curious about what lies under that smile of yours, after looking into your past I want to see what might happen if instead of following the path of heroism you went down the path of villainy. I want you to make sure your classmates, as well as your teachers are glad you never decided to throw away your heroic spirit. ”After listening to Nedzu explain his part in the exam Midoriya slowly thought to himself on what the principal said, agreeing with the explanation, but also confused and concerned about the second part of his reasoning“Alright then Principal Nedzu, but what do you mean by given my past?”The principal looks over to Hound Dog before the large man speaks up while standing up and walking over to the boy and placing his hand on his shoulder.“While it isn't known by most of the teachers I am able to request school transcripts for new students to see if any students may have some difficulties with certain subjects. So I was very confused when I saw your transcript and noticed that your grades were very average if not below average, especially after seeing how well you did on the written entrance exam. Most of the time we see these kinds of problems in regards to students who are suffering from quirk discrimination, but after seeing your quirk registration paperwork said you have an enhancement quirk I got confused and brought these findings to Nedzu. He was able to find out that your quirk registration was recently changed. After getting in contact with someone at the quirk registration office we were given your previous paperwork and immediately noticed that you were labeled quirkless.Midoriya immediately stiffened at Hound Dogs words, his eyes immediately shot to All Might and then at Nedzu before his eyes went back to the School Counselor in front of him. Should he keep the lie that All Might told him to use, or should he tell the truth.“I have already told Hound Dog about our specific situation.” All Might said to the boy while resting his hand on the boy's shoulder. “When Hound Dog mentioned the status of your quirk to Nedzu the principal decided to call me into the office and have me include him in the secret of One for All.”Midoriya looks at the newest person in on the secret of One for All and sighed before nodding “Alright then, so what are the rules for this exam?”“Well Young Midoriya, all of the rules are in the full rulebook” All Might said before standing up alongside Hound Dog. “However Nedzu suggested that you read the rulebook here and ask him any questions you may have immediately after reading.” Hound Dog said before handing a folder to Midoriya and walking out of the principal's office with All Might“Alright, while you are reading through the rules I’ll be at my desk doing some paperwork, when you’re finished with the rulebook I’ll answer any questions you may have.” Nedzu said as he cleans up the teacups left by All Might and Hound Dog and walked back to his desk in the center of the room and started looking through his computer as Midoriya started to look through the rulebook. The rulebook included the basic rules that were mentioned in the assembly, as well as more specific rules for the villain team. One of the first rules mentioned in order to “kill” a hero, the villain team will be given a special type of paint that when exposed to skin will cause pain in order to give the simulation more realism. Another rule stated that all heroes and villains will be required to wear an earpiece that will tell them if they were considered injured or killed. While looking through the rules Midoriya noticed a specific rule. “Second and third year heroic students can’t be recruited into the Hero vs. Villain exam.”“Wait a second” as Midoriya looks at that specific rule he gains a smile before looking at Nedzu, who looked up at the green haired teen in interest. “This rule states that second and third year Hero Students aren’t allowed, but it doesn’t mention anything about Support, General Education, or Business Course students.”Nedzu gains a smile and gives a small clap “Well done Midoriya, while upper year hero courses can’t be recruited, upper year Support Course, Business Course, and General Education can be recruited to join the exam.” With a beaming smile Midoriya looks back to the rule book and continues to read through it.2 hours later Midoriya leaves the Principal's office with a notebook full of notes as well as a plan. However while on his way back to his dorm room he starts to think of how he would run the villain team. When he made it to his room he looked around before noticing a pack of playing cards lying on his dresser. With a grin Midoriya would dump out the pack of cards and grab The King of Spades and pinned it up on his wall, before grabbing The Queen of Hearts and The Jack of Clubs before pinning them up on each side of the King. Looking at the three face cards he felt like something was missing, looking through the pile of cards he found the one card he was missing, The Joker. Grabbing the Joker card and pinning it under the King, he takes a stack of sticky notes and puts one under each card. Midoriya then writes his name under the king card and takes a step back before looking at the four cards, his inner circle, those who he would trust the most. After stepping away from the cards he pulls out a new notebook and writes “Villain team Notebook” on the front of the book before writing down a list of any students he might want to have on the villain team. After writing all of the names in the book he put the notebook under the mattress of his bed and went back to the playing cards, writing two names under each card in case certain picks choose to become heroes, except for one card that only had one name. After writing the names of those he wants to be in his inner circle he immediately leaves his room in search of his inner circle, his Jacks, his Jokers, his Queen. A small blush spreads across his cheeks as he exits the male side of the dorm and heads to the female side of the dorms in order to find his second in command. After all, a King is nothing without his Queen.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

After leaving his dorm room, Midoriya slowly makes his way towards the female side of the dorm while pulling his phone out of his pocket and dialing a number he never thought he’d need to call while in UA. As Midoriya walks down the hallway his phone goes to voicemail, with a sigh he puts his phone back in his pocket before walking to a specific dorm room and sliding a specific playing card under the door and knocking on it before walking down the hall and towards another room. Inside the dorm roomMomo Yaoyorozu was currently in the middle of studying when she heard a knock on her door. Looking over she sees a card sliding under her door, as she walks over and picks it up she notices a note written on the back of it. “If you want to prove yourself to the teachers and our fellow classmates, meet at support course room H3 tomorrow at 13:30.” After reading the note Momo knew exactly who gave her this note considering she only told a few people about her insecurities that plagued her thoughts throughout the year and with what she knows about him, she knows he will keep his promise. Back in the hallwayAs Midoriya walks down a stairwell and into the common room he pulls out his phone and sends a quick text to a good friend.Quirk Nerd: Hey, have you heard about the upcoming exam for the hero course?Baby Maker: Hey Muscles, yeah I heard about the Hero vs. Villains exam that will be going on. Why do you ask?Quirk Nerd: Can you get Mind Bender and American Engineer to meet up at your workshop tomorrow at 13:30? There's something I want to ask the three of you.Baby Maker: Sure thing, I’ll bring them over.Quirk Nerd: Thank you Hatsume.Baby Maker: How many times do I need to tell you to just call me Mei?Quirk Nerd: Thank you Mei.Baby Maker: You’re welcome Izuku. As Midoriya puts his phone back into his pocket he makes his way back to his dorm room, not knowing that his night is not over just yet. When Midoriya makes his way up the stairs to the hallway with his dorm room on it he sees three figures standing in front of his door. Making his way over he gets a better look at the three people. “Todoroki, Tokoyami, Shoji, what are you guys doing here?” As Midoriya walks closer and calls the name of the three teens Todoroki stands up straight and looks towards his classmate's door. “It might be best if we talk in private Midoriya” Todoroki says while Shoji and Tokoyami nod in agreement. Giving the group a nod Midoriya approaches his door and opens it and allows the trio to enter his room. As Shoji, Todoroki, and Tokoyami enter Midoriya’s dorm room the first thing they notice is the wall of playing cards with names underneath them. “I see you're already taking this exam seriously,” Shoji says while forming a mouth on one of his tentacles as he leans closer to the wall. “Of course he is, with how many students are going to flock to the light of heroism Midoriya needs to prepare his dark shadow to blanket the competition.” Tokoyami speaks up while looking towards Midoriya. “So I’m going to assume you three are here to join the villain team?” Midoriya asks while sitting down on his desk chair and motioning for the three other teens to get comfortable. “Yes, we would like to be a part of the group that will hopefully win with a perfect score.” Todoroki says while looking at Shoji and Tokoyami who nod in agreement. As Midoriya looks at his three new teammates he can't help but let out a dark chuckle. “Very well then, meet me and your hopefully new teammates at support room H3 tomorrow at 13:30.” As Midoriya gives the trio their first orders as the villain team leader Shoji, Tokoyami, and Todoroki all stand up and bow towards their new leader before exiting the room one by one. After the group leaves his room Midoriya jumps onto his bed and lets out a laugh as he looks up at the ceiling of his room before calming down and getting ready for bed. As he lays down in bed he can’t help but feel a mixture of excitement and nervousness for what's to come as he slowly drifts off to sleep. Next day early morningAs Midoriya is out on his morning run he bumps into a loud obnoxious blond from class 1-B. “Monoma, can I talk to you for a second?”. Monoma turns at his name being called but scowls as he sees exactly who was talking to him “Well if it isn't the 1-A golden child, what could you possibly want to talk about with someone from the superior class?” Monoma lets out an obnoxious laugh before looking at Midoriya whose face changes to a flat look boiling with determination. “How would you like to show the teachers here that you are much more than just a copy quirk?” As Midoriya speaks Monoma visibly winces before looking at the green haired teen with shock. “Excuse me?” Monoma speaks in a surprising soft voice as he rubs at his neck. “How would you like to prove to the teachers and students that your quirk isn’t the only thing that got you into the hero course?” As Midoriya continues to talk to Monoma he can see the blonde haired teen slowly accept his offer. After Monoma agrees to follow Midoriya the green haired teen smiles and runs off with a request to meet up at 13:30 in a specific support room. As Midoriya runs away Monoma can’t help but allow a small smile to cross his lips. Support Department room H3 13:15 As Midoriya walks to the heavy metal door he stops as he sees everyone he asked to show up and feels a sense of pride seeing everyone had arrived early for the meeting. As he walks to the door he nods to everyone “Thank you all for taking time out of your days for this meeting, I know that most of you already know why you’re here but allow me to explain for those not in the know.” Midoriya turns to Mei Hatsume aka Baby Maker, Hitoshi Shinso aka Mind Bender, a general education student who has aspirations to become a hero and Melissa Shield aka American Engineer a 2nd year support course American exchange student who started classes after her father was arrested for his part in the I Island attack and now lives with her uncle All Might. “Mei, Hitoshi, Mel, I know you must be wondering why I asked for you to come here on such short notice with multiple hero course students. To bring you up to speed, the 1st year hero course is having a hero vs. villain exam and the teachers decided to make me the leader of the villain team and I’d like for you three to be my wild cards that no one would expect.” As Midoriya continues to explain the exam to the entire group he can see as everyone begins to understand what was going on and that this was going to be his inner circle, his most trusted teammates and those who will be in charge of helping with plans, training and coming up with gear for each other. As the first meeting continues Midoriya’s phone suddenly starts ringing, when he pulls out his phone his face bursts out into a wide grin before slowly excusing himself to take the call. However everyone could hear the first few words of the conversation. “Hey Dad, I have a favor to ask…..”

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

As Midoriya leaves his team's new meeting room the members of his inner circle all look at each other with questioning looks. “So, do any of you know what kind of favor Midoriya might be asking his father for?” Shoji asks before turning his head towards Todoroki, Momo, Mei, Hitoshi and Melissa who all look at each other before simultaneously shrugging their shoulders and shaking their heads.“I’m sorry but Izuku has always been very tight lipped about his father.” Momo says while looking straight at Todoroki with a small glare before he could start going on his normal Midoriya is All Might's secret love child conspiracies. “All I know is that his father works for the Japanese Ministry for International Affairs, and is currently working in America.” Melissa says while tapping her chin with a contemplative look on her face.“The bond between father and son is something that many see as sacred, for Midoriya to be asking his father for assistance must mean he plans to use every advantage he can.” Tokoyami says while the rest of the inner circle all nod in agreement. Outside support room H-3, 3 minutes ago “Hey Dad, I have a favor to ask,” Midoriya says into his phone while leaning against the wall and looking up and down the hallway in case anyone walks past. “Sure son, what can I do for you?” The deep voice of Hizashi Midoriya speaks back to his son as he takes a deep breath before explaining his situation to his father. “So we’re currently in the beginning phases of our final exam and it’s a Heroes vs Villains exam and the staff decided to make me the team leader for the villain team.”“I see,” Hizashi says calmly through the phone as the sound of leather squeaking could be heard as he repositions himself in a leather armchair “And what exactly do you need my help with son?” A silence hangs in the air between the two for several long seconds and just before Hizashi could ask his question a second time his son spoke up with determination echoing in his voice. “I know that you have connections to multiple high level people in the American government and I also know that multiple of those people owe you favors for helping to set up companies, policies, and entirely new programs. I also know that you’ve used some of my notebook entries on American Heroes and Villains to help make the heroes stronger and help take down many dangerous villains.” As his son continues to speak Hizashi can't help but grin at the smarts his son possesses. “You’re very perceptive my boy, yes I do have connections and favors I can cash in. However I still need to know exactly what you’d need from me.” “I need professional help to train my team into being the best fighting force and the most cooperative team this exam has ever seen.” Midoriya said while looking at his watch to see the time. “I need to go dad, if you’re able to send me some help to train my team I’ll make sure to send you over more of my American notes and make new ones for any threat you think I can help with.” As Midoriya hangs up with his father and walks back into the meeting room he can only hope his father is able to help him. San Francisco California, 20:35As Midoriya hangs up the phone his father puts down his cellphone before leaning back in the leather office chair he sits in while breathing out a small flame from his mouth as he thinks about his son’s offer. After thinking it over he leans forward and presses a small button on his desk “Sheila, patch me through to the director of Project Freelance.” A robotic female voice calls back a few seconds later “As you wish sir, patching you in now.” After a few moments a smooth voice rings through the speaker on Hizashi’s desk. “Ah Mister Chairman, what can I do for you sir.”“Mister Church, I require your assistance in helping my son out with a small project he has at school.” After a few seconds the confused voice of Leonard Church speaks up “Forgive me sir, but isn’t your son currently at U-A? What kind of help could he possibly need that would require you to call me?” A small growl could be heard from the back of Hizashi’s throat “Director, need I remind you that it was thanks to my son's intervention you were able to split up that little AI you were trying to fragment? I think you owe him that much.” The sound of ruffling papers could be heard as the director fumbled through files. “Y-Yes Mister Chairman of course, my apologies for speaking out of turn. So you want me to send over some agents to help him in his project, how many do you think he’ll need?” The sound of water being doused over a flame could be heard as Hizashi drank a glass of water to cool down his throat. “I think 10 agents will do just fine and I think I know exactly who to send.” The sound of a text message rings out on Leonards side of the phone and with a small sigh he speaks up. “Very well Mister Chairman, I’ll pass the orders along to the requested agents. They should arrive at UA within the next two days.” Without saying anything else Hizashi hangs up and turns to face out the large window behind him. “Let's see how you do, my son. I expect great results from this.” Back in Japan Midoriya gets a notification on his phone from his father and smiles before looking at his inner circle. “Alright everyone this meeting is dismissed. Get some rest and try to get some more recruits before Thursday, our training will officially start then.” After speaking Midoriya leaves the room before making his way to Nedzu’s office in order to get access to a training ground for Thursday and 10 guest passes to allow people onto the campus. Thursday 9:30, Ground Gamma As the members of the villain team stand out front of their designated training ground Midoriya steps out from the building and looks around at the group of classmates and students from other departments all standing before him as he spreads his arms wide open. “Ladies and Gentlemen from the Hero Course, Support Course, General Education, and Business Course welcome to Ground Sigma also known as the Training Playground.”As Midoriya looks around at the group of 40 students apart of the villain team a few members caught his eye. Mina Ashido, Kyoka Jirou, and Denki Kaminari from his own Class 1-A and Itsuka Kendo, Setsuna Tokage, Reiko Yanagi, Sen Kaibara, Yosetsu Awase and Kosei Tsuburaba from Class 1-B. WIth a smile Midoriya opens the doors to allow everyone into the building. The interior of the building is a large open concrete room with Cementoss standing in the center of the main training area.As the group walks towards the hero made of concrete Midoriya steps forwards and stands beside Cementoss before speaking up. “Cementoss will be here to help us train by using his quirk to create suitable training ground for each of us to use.” After Midoriya finishes explaining why Cementoss was there the sound of a loud horn comes from the back of the building, with a nod to the cement hero Cementoss crouches down and touches the floor before the back wall of the building collapses into the ground before an armored truck rolls through as the wall closes up behind it.With a small smile Midoriya looks to the villain team as the doors of the truck open and ten figures walk out all dressed in black bodysuits with colored armor plating covering their bodies. “It looks like the last of our trainers have just arrived.” Midoriya walks towards the group with a smile as if he’s seeing old friends before turning around to face the group. “Everyone I’d like for you all to meet Agents Carolina, Texas, Washington, York, Maine, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Florida and Illinois. They are all members of a special American Hero organization that works closely with the American Military known as Project Freelance.”As Midoriya finishes speaking, a woman with a pale complexion and freckles on her cheeks with a bob of ginger hair steps forward dressed in teal armor. “Alright everyone listen up, my name is Agent Carolina, my quirk is called speed acceleration and it allows me to boost up my physical speed by 5 times my normal speed.” As Carolina steps back another woman dressed in pure black armor walks up “My name is Agent Texas or Tex for short and my quirk is called active camo and allows me to turn my body semi transparent, only leaving a slight outline of my figure visible.” As Tex steps back a man dressed in dark grey armor with yellow accents walks forward “My name is Agent Washington, or Wash for short and my quirk is called blade precision and allows me to throw blades with increased precision.” As Wash walks back a man with tan armor walks up and gives a small wave “Hello everyone I am Agent York and my quirk is locksmith mastery” WIthout giving a further explanation to his quirk York steps back before a taller man steps forward with a slight growl before speaking “Maine…. Quirk… Mutism…. stronger…. when talking less…”As Maine walks back a man dressed in light grey armor walks forward while combing his mustache speaking in an Australian Accent “Well hello there old chum, I am Wyoming and my quirk is Marksman.” As Wyoming walks back a man and woman walk forward, both weakening purple armor with green accents but the male’s armor is a darker shade of purple “Well hello everybody, I’m Agent North Dakota and this is my sister South Dakota. In order to not confuse any of you just call me North and my sis here South. My quirk is called dome shield and allows me to create a dome shield around me.”As North turns to his sister she punches his shoulder roughly and scoffs “You could let me talk for myself you know but whatever, My quirk is called distortion and allows me to slow down time for 20 seconds in a 10 foot radius of myself. As the twin Agents walk back a man in noticeably lighter armor walks forward before waving with a robotic arm “Hello everyone I’m Agent Florida and my quirk is metal warp and allows me to absorb metal into my body to boost strength. As Florida walks back the final member of the group walks up dressed in light blue armor and speaks in a russian accent “The name is Illinois and my quirk is demolition, allowing me to blow up anything I touch.”As Illinois walks back Carolina walks back to the front and looks at the group before looking to Midoriya “It’s been awhile Little Green, did you miss us?” She asks with a smirk before Midoriya walks up to hug Carolina as the other members of Project Freelance walk close and greet Midoriya with hugs, fistbumps and handshakes before Carolina turns to the group. “Oh and one more thing… Training begins now..”

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

As Agent Carolina finishes her speech training immediately begins as she quickly dashes towards the group of unprepared students with her right fist pulled pack for a punch. Before she could get even halfway to the students Midoriya stands in her way and uses his right forearm to redirect Carolina’s punch before jumping up to slam his right knee under her chin. Carolina slides back a step to dodge the flying knee that barely brushes past her nose before raising her left arm to block a left roundhouse kick thrown by Midoriya while still in midair. After Carolina blocked his spinning kick he pushes off her arm before landing on his right leg and immediately pivoting on his foot to send a back kick directly into her gut which pushed the Freelancer back a few feet before stopping and standing back up out of a combat stance. “Not bad kid, I can see you’re getting better at quick reactions and practicing on better kicking techniques.” Carolina says with a small, proud smirk on her face before looking over Midoriya’s shoulder to see the stunned looks on his team's faces. “Alright demonstrations over, I want to see how much endurance you all have. Give me ten laps around the building, Agent Illinois will be out to observe and motivate you.” With a nod to her blue dressed teammate the explosives expert left the building with the 39 other members besides Midoriya. After waiting a few minutes 8 glowing figures appeared standing on the shoulders of some of the agents, the figures all appeared to resemble a man dressed in a suit of battle armor glowing in multiple colors. As Midoriya looks at the multiple small figures, recognition flashing past his eyes as he walks to Carolina with a fully white figure floating above her shoulder. “So these are the AI units that the director asked my father to help make.” Midoriya stares in fascination at the AI which also looks back at Midoriya. “Greetings Izuku Midoriya, my name is Alpha and I was the base AI given to Project Freelance and after successfully splitting I was assigned to Agent Carolina to assist her in combat.” As the AI speaks to Midoriya it dematerializes before reappearing on Midoriya’s shoulder before motioning for him to see all of the AI fragments. As Midoriya walks towards the agents with AI companions Alpha explains more about what the AI do for the agents. “As you might have figured out, all Freelancer Agents in possession of an AI counterpart don’t truthfully have quirks. All the abilities that Freelancer Agents possessing an AI have are in actuality boosts given by the armor Freelancer Agents wear and are powered by the AI companions.” As Alpha continues to explain the process of choosing which agents gained AI companions Midoriya looks at the Agent and AI combinations while looking at a holographic report explaining the AI program. Agent Carolina and AI Fragment Alpha, while Carolina’s speed is in fact a quirk she is normally unable to process her surroundings while sped up, Fragment Alpha helps Carolina see while moving at extreme speeds and also helps boost her strength. Agent Texas (True Identity AI Fragment Beta) and AI Fragment Omega, Agent Texas is in actually not a living human being and in fact another fragment of the original Alpha AI (Please note that Agent Texas is aware that she is an AI in control of a robotic body but prefers to be seen as a human being). Being an AI controlling a robotic body Agent Texas has increased physical strength and is more resilient to damage, Agent Texas AI companion Fragment Omega has the sole purpose to run the active camo armor upgrade in Agent Texas body. Agent York and AI Fragment Delta, while Agent York is an expert locksmith and is seen to have a quirk that helps with lockpicking he is actually quirkless. Project Freelance has changed Agent York's medical records so it looks as if he had always had a quirk. Agent York’s AI companion, Fragment Delta controls an advanced healing system inside of Agent York’s armor. Agent Wyoming and AI Fragment Gamma, Agent Wyoming’s expert marksmanship ability is indeed a result of his quirk, however Fragment Gamma helps Agent Wyoming in making calculations as well as giving him superior vision while wearing a specially made visor that also has infrared vision.Midway through reading the files on the Freelance Agents and their AI companions the sound of screams and an explosion rings through the building. As Midoirya looks up in surprise and fear of an attack Agent Carolina lets out a disappointed sigh and shakes her head. “It looks like Illinois had to give them extra motivation to finish their required laps.” Midoriya looks at Agent Carolina in shock that Agent Illinois was using explosives to motivate his teammates before shrugging and going back to reading more of the files on the AI Fragments. After reading for 10 more minutes the front doors open back up as the entire villain team walks in while all being in various exhausted states, while most of the Hero Course students as well as Mei, Melissa, and Hitoshi were all slightly exhausted most of their other teammates were gasping for air while some were covered in dirt and soot. Entering in behind the group is Agent Illinois who was holding a large over the shoulder rocket launcher across his back with a large smile on his face before walking over to Agent Carolina and whispering into her ear. “Alright most of you did decently on the run, however some of you still need to improve on your cardio and stamina. So those of you who did not have satisfactory results on your run will be working with Agents Illinois and Agent Wyoming on bettering your cardio. Those of you who passed with satisfactory results will work in small groups with the rest of us to help you with everything from basic hand to hand combat, to marksmanship, to stealth tactics, as well as specialty courses on expert driving and lockpicking and hacking.” Carolina speaks out before Illinois calls out 3 of the 10 support course students, all 5 business course students and 12 of the 17 General Education students to all head back outside to continue cardio and endurance training. As the 20 students who failed the cardio and endurance exam exit the building Carolina walks back to the armored truck that the Freelancer Agents arrived in and gets into the driver's seat before turning the truck around so the back is facing the center of the of the training ground before getting out as Agents North and South walk to the doors at the back of the truck and open the doors to reveal the back of the truck was filled with large cases as well as a portable workshop and mobile command center. Agents York and Washington enter the truck while Agent Maine stands in front of the open doors to assist the other agents in taking the large cases out of the truck. After the truck is empty of the large cases and the workshop and command center are cleared of the extra clutter Agent Florida walks towards all of the Support Course Students including Mei and Melissa before motioning for them to ender the trailer as he steps into the trailer and closes the doors after all of the Support Students are in the truck. “Alright while Agent Florida works with your support team we will start to introduce you to some of the weaponry and equipment you will be using while training.” Agent Carolina says while opening up the first case that consists of electro staffs and some protective padding, as Agent Carolina goes through the cases Midoriya can’t help but wonder how Iida and the Hero Team have spent their first few days of training. Training Gym Zulu, 13:15Tenya Iida stands in the middle of Gym Zulu with a defeated look on his face as only 12 of his teammates showed up to the Gym at the time he had requested. As he looks at the group of students in front of him he can’t help but feel grateful that Shoda was able to get a few of their 1-B classmates to show up. Iida had a feeling that Bakugo would not be showing up due to his obvious superiority complex, however he did not think that Kirishima, Sero, Aoyama, Toru, and Mineta would also not show up. While Iida was not extremely surprised that Mineta did not show up, the rest of his classmates not showing up caused Iida to put a hold on training until he could get every member of the hero team in one place so they could start planning. As Iida dismissed the group of 1-A and 1-B students to train by themselves, a duo of 1-B students sent a message to their Class Representative to pass a note onto the Villain Team Leader. Training Ground Gamma, 16:30After training with the Freelance Agents for the past 7 hours with an hour long break from 12:30 to 13:30 the members of the Villain Team help the Freelance Agents put all of the supplies they used back into the large case before pushing them against one of the side walls of the training grounds. As Midoriya and Carolina push the last crate against the wall Kendo walks towards Midoriya before handing her phone over to him to read the message “It looks like the Hero Team is still not cooperating with their leader.” As Midoriya passes the phone back over to its owner he looks to the group who decided to put their faith in him before smiling and climbing on top of the storage crates. “Members of the U.A. Villain Team, before you all head off to relax and get something to eat I would like to say a few words.” As Midoriya gets the attention of everyone, including the Freelance Agents he continues his speech. “I would like to thank all of you for your support and trust in me as your leader, and to show my thanks I would like to invite all of you back to the main campus for a group dinner, I will also extend my invitation to the members of Project Freelance that have given up their time to help us.” After finishing his speech Midoriya hops off the crates while pulling out his phone to ask Nedzu if he could use the cafeteria to cook his team a meal after their first day of training. When the entire Villain team and the members of Project Freelance arrive at the main building of U.A. Nedzu stands at the door with Lunch Rush before leading the group to the lunch room. As Midoriya and Lunch Rush head into the kitchen to start preparing the meal the rest of the team look at one another then look at the Freelancer Agents before they all walk into the kitchen to make the meal as a team effort as well as a way for less culinary inclined students to get slightly better at cooking. As the group cook the large feast they were making, the Freelance Agents start to share some stories about some missions they completed in the past while cracking jokes at each other. After finishing the preparation for the meal and bringing the large spread of food out to the tables, some students from other classes come in to witness the feast sitting in front of the group. As Midoriya notices the group staring he offers to allow the others to join in because he feels that they made too much food. As the group of students walk over to join the feast the members of the Villain Team all smile at how kind and caring their leader is, feeling confident for putting their faith in Midoriya to lead them. After the group consisting of the Villain team, Freelance Agent, and random students all finish eating the large feast and help with cleaning the dishes used everyone leaves the cafeteria with satisfied faces and even more satisfied stomachs the members of Project Freelance all head back to Training Ground Gamma where they set up an area to act like a living quarters while the members of the villain team head back to their respective dorm buildings to rest for the upcoming day of training. As Midoriya is about to head into his room he is stopped by three pairs of footsteps stopping behind him. “Midor- no Izuku, there's something we need to talk about…”
