tears fell down her face, mixing with the blood on the floor and creating some oh-so cursed watercolor.that didn’t convince her to stop. she knelt before the remains, the remains of the one who desperately clawed for her to see the light, the one who promised her that dream, the one who bought her pastries every dawn and various toffees at dusk, the one who motivated her, the one who she looked up to like an elder brother.. perhaps everything.her everything was now chalked up to a gruesome scene, a fateful death, and a sob story.her slender fingers curled into a fist before she exhaled and her hands reached for her freshly poisoned katana kept at her side, sheathed.the lady swayed as she rose from her sorrow on the floor.she gazed down once at the sight, before muttering a soft prayer and tearing open a window and sliding out.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Running her fingers through her hair, she sat up.The room was filled with a repeated whisper.“A flower that has bloomed in the darkness can only find peace in the darkness.”“A flower that has bloomed in the darkness can only find peace in the darkness.”“A flower that has bloomed in the darkness can only find peace in the darkness.”Each word more finely articulated every single time, careful to not make a mistake and change the lesson. But perhaps she has failed at that too, for another message was ingrained into her mind. The Port Mafia, was evil. She understood that, she could handle this kind of evil. But as the mood of the Boss worsened, treacherous acts, ones she could not stand for, would only continue.Perhaps she should leave the boss a bloody mess too. A cold and harsh memory, something people looked back on and shrugged. Perhaps she should command her beautiful golden demon to subdue the man so that she may carve out his heart and leave the rest on the floor. On the floor of the small bedroom, she exhaled.”To get anywhere significant, remain calm and graceful.”She would not forget her beautiful teacher’s teachings, and simply stood up. To get anywhere significant, remain calm and graceful. She simply picked herself from the floor, wiped her tears, and used makeup to cover the rest before stepping out of the room and venturing to find something.. anything to do.
